My first time, and I'm in love.  This place is fabulous.  Extremely knowledgeable bud tenders, nice selection,  and prices are really good.And it is is South Reno, which is a huge plus.Probably not going anywhere else anytime soon.

I normally have had great experiences here. Last night I pulled in to a completely empty parking lot and mistakenly parked in one of three "curbside pickup" spots. Someone came out and asked if I was doing curbside, I said "no just running in for one thing". She told me I would have to move across the parking lot.   I was baffled. "There is nobody here, there are two other curbside spots and I'll be about 5 minutes". She held her ground so I told her "Thanks but no thanks."  It wasn't like I parked in a handicap spot and there were literally NO OTHER CARS AROUND. In a time when retail is suffering, some stores take the approach of amping up their customer service. Thrive apparently sees things differently. Fine with me. I'll spend my money elsewhere.

I've never not left this place grinning saying how much I love the employees. I don't know why the rating is so low. The weed? Gas. The people? Phenomenal. The vibes? Immaculate. I could also be a little bias after claiming my free ounce

WORST PART! This place still doesn't have sample trays! It's a mystery every time trying to buy wax. How hard is it to help your patients out so we can see what the product looks like!

WOW!!  Watch out for this place. I went to buy and single item. I was then told that i would receive a free 8th if I bought two of said item so I ordered 2. Upon noticing that I was not given the free 8th, I was informed that there was a miscommunication and that i would not be recieving a free 8th. The budtender at that point was also more than happy to tell me that all sales are final. I was literally just conned into spending way more money than I intended....  I also tipped generously because I thought I was getting something for free.

Can get better deals at most other shops. Nice place! Trash prices. Same brands half the price at a couple other locations. Scammy scam scam.

The staff went out of their way trying to find me a tincture that was right for me. I need high CBD with THC, but not too high or I'll be so paranoid that I'll be sitting in a corner freaking out. I forgot the lady's name who helped me but she brought some stuff out of the back that wasn't on the floor yet. Yes, they are a bit more expensive compared to other dispensaries around town but I appreciate not being treated like an idiot or a waste of time when I say I just want a bit of THC. I'll pay that little bit of extra just for the friendliness.

Junk. The staff is rude and it takes forever to get anywhere. Constant computer issues and nobody seems to care. The weed is dry shake in the prerolls and the prices are great. Also their mask policy is insane. I wear a mask no problem but they question it's filtration and demand I put on a second mask on top? What? Get outta town. There are many other places that have a better overall vibe and service for less money. Booo junk. I've been here 4 times and it's always something wrong. It's worth the drive to visit literally any other store.

Don't use this dispensary. Stopped in to talk to manager about an issue with some CBD I had purchased and never made it into the store. Pulled up at a far curb (not even close to the store) on a Sunday evening in a lot that was completely empty (some 40+ spaces) and idled for a moment to call home to let my spouse know I was at the store in case she wanted anything. The manager immediately sent out a counter employee to tell me to "park normally."  In a completely empty lot at a curb 200 feet away from the business. If you hire and employ a manager that is so uptight and so into fascist control that they would do this to a customer who has patronized their store for over a year, you aren't worthy of getting locals to buy there. Thrive ownership: you just lost my family's business. I'm now directing everyone I know to your competitors. Well done. You should have that manager (whomever was on duty on Sunday, Sept. 12 at 7:00pm) smoke a huge bowl of one of your cheaper products and learn about customer service. Gone for good.

Rude employee, Bridger! I am fully vaccinated and was wearing a mask and Bridger walked up to me and told me my mask didn't meet their standards and wanted me to put on his version. I told him I had another mask and he rudely insisted that I put it on immediately. Will never go back.

I drove into the parking lot and wondered why it was empty. I quickly found out: The prices are high, and I don't mean like their product. Fortunately, I brought along a receipt from Silver State. For a comparably product their price was 40% higher. When I showed the guy the receipt he tried to tell me that it was Silver State's product. News flash: It wasn't their product. I left and went back to Silver State. I dobn't know who owns this place, but they need to look around at the competition or their parking lot will stay empty.

Way to expensive and the battery they sold me didn't even work. Please step your game up.

So listen. I have been in here numerous times. I have never been called cheap (even when purchasing one or two prerolls at a time for budgetary reasons), I've never waited more than 10 minutes, and was always recognized, and I have never been sold garbage. I have to laugh at some of these reviews-if you walk in with a competitor's receipt to harass them on their prices, or walk in with an attitude and keep telling them their product is, "whack" or accuse them of being dishonest by giving you something that is not what's in the display case, then they probably aren't going to be warm and fuzzy to you. Weird, right?! Look. Each dispensary sets their own prices, just like any business. If you don't like them, don't go there. Oh, and most of the time the people working at the brick and mortar stores, don't set the prices-corporate does. So ripping their faces off about it just makes you an________. Do you really think if they had control over things, they'd leave them where they get yelled at all of the time? C'mon. It's the same all over. Maybe take a bath or meditate if you're feeling stabby-lashing out at retail/customer service/service industry workers without them having done something to you, is just a rude and tacky thing to do. Of course, if you're dissatisfied leave your review, but leave an honest one. Leaving a laundry list of issues after ONE visit says more about you than it does them. I have been in this dispensary probably, 20-30 times since they opened. Some of the flower is subpar-house brands can be that way. But all of their flower isn't junk. Lol They have Canabella, Srene, and Tahoe Hydro, which is in several other stores. But it's ok when you get it from Silver State or something? Personally, I feel the flower here is better than Reef, and about the same as The Dispensary. And I've seen them take product directly out of the case and sell it to me, if it is the last one. It was the same thing it always was; I'm not sure about the accusation of selling different things that are displayed. I guess their prices are a little higher, but not as high as Mynt! ($12/pr at Thrive vs $18.14-then dropped to $15/pr at Mynt for the same brand and strain.) However their location and the fact that I don't feel like I'm in a demolition derby in their parking lot (I'm talking to you, The Dispensary), the fact that they're always happy, professional, and helpful when I see them, keeps me coming back. The only complaints I have are the batteries they sell aren't my preference; I feel like they hardly dispense anything. I much prefer the Tryke Batteries. Also, during the pandemic I've been unimpressed with the lack of delivery to Reno. Mostly because it's been unclear as to what is happening. Took me forever to figure out they were only delivering to Vegas. Then my member updates said Southern NV Delivery only. Now they don't-but it still seems like their website won't place my order. I'm forced to deal with the price gouging going on at Mynt right now. $100 minimum delivery, increases in product prices, and now a new delivery system that charges you over $20 in delivery fees. Which really pisses me off because I'm "out of the delivery area" so I have to play this dumb ass game and have my friend order it, then wait all day for the call telling us the delivery window. Then I have to go get cash ONLY and then find some way to make exact change, despite most places either not handling cash right now, or being closed. So either the driver themselves get zero tip or way too much. Absolutely frustrating, but I am still being grateful there's any delivery at all. :)But it would have been nice for Thrive to have stepped up. For that reason, I left off a star. Otherwise, I'm a satisfied customer who will be back. :)!

My go to dispensary! Personable staff, always have good deals & the best pre rolls! Bridger & Vinny were super nice & helpful during my last visit

I Was visiting from out of town and went in with a few friends. What a nice experience. We had been to a couple others in town and we're getting ready to stock up before we went skiing. We had such an incredible visit and able to buy every single thing I needed there even a pipe and lighter. It's got everything and really tasty flower as well as tons of other items. I think we spent about $400 and we normally would have probably spent five or six on the same amount of items. All good stuff all very fresh.One of the girls that was with is from the area and she said that she's never going anywhere else now except for there.

Very disappointing service from the associate ringing me up and the manager working. I was excited to have a dispensary near my house but will definitely not be going back.

Just went and got 100$ half sounds like a good deal nope straight trash dryer then the desert Fucken terrible don't waste your time. Went back an they Wer rude like I did something wrong smfh.

These guys are always cool, love dealing with them. I stopped in today and announced "I need some cheap flower cause my money is tight!" They grabbed me a $25 eighth of Green Gold Pure Kush, and it's equally powerful and delicious! Thanks you guys and girls at Thrive, you may not know it but we are damned glad to have you!!

I had to write this review after leaving this place. So I have been here multiple times. I wanted to believe in this place since it was so close to my house, but I had to draw the line. My wife bought me a cartridge from this place it was a "Church" brand cartridge. I didn't have a good experience with this brand when I first bought it, so of course I felt like maybe I was being to hard on judging and tried it again. Nope! the cartridge is wack! You actually need the special battery they sell with it in order to get the best smoke from the oil. They never once told me that the first time, because that actually was what made me stop going there the first time. I go in and explain that the cartridge is not getting me high, I spent literally a long time trying to warm it up to even get smoke from it. I even showed the girl my pen that they sold me and said to please either show me how to adjust the battery to work with this product or to let me exchange the product for something that actually works. She takes the cart to the back and comes back and says it works. "They tested it in the back" All I could think in my head was I spent $80+ and all I get is we tested and it works. Another girls comes out with my pen and the cart and says "We adjusted it for you have a great day" I got outside with the smallest ounce of hope that I had left for this place and BOOM! Same results. What really makes me mad is when people automatically go in defense mode when you tell them their product is wack. I didn't come in asking for free anything, I wanted to my money worth and this product was not it. The Pre-Rolls are also disappointing.  At first I thought it was due to a high tolerance and then I realized that it's just not good quality tree. If you want to get HIGH and not tickled. Save yourself the disappointment and and go to Silver State or Reef.(only because I usually go here no bias opinion) I would also like to add the extra star for the reward system they have. Every time you buy product from this establishment you earn points to eventually get a free pre-roll, Gram of flower, or even an 8th, but the point system unfortunately, does not or will ever make up for the quality of pre-rolls and cartridges I have bought from this place. Learn from my mistake and go somewhere else, unless they're the only spot open then your SOL. (which also has some good products.....No pun intended)

Similar to other reviews, thrive employees or owners(?) are incredibly rude in a time that retail stores are suffering. Not sure if this was someone with a little bit of power or an average employee but in either case the blonde kid behind the counter was incredibly pompous and bizarrely weird when it came to answering pretty much any questions at all.My best guess is that this was a partial owner or perhaps a manager evidenced by the entitled attitude for literally no reason, which, again, is very unfortunate because retail is really suffering right now so what a phenomenal way to drive away what customer base you have left.Skip this place. Go up the street to The Source. Super clean, nice, and very professional employees.

Was my favorite dispensary for price and location, that made up for the fact the weed is powder dry and usually full of seeds (in the TOP shelf)I had loyalty points worth the cost of a free 8th that I was told I could use many times. I went to redeem it today in a time of need and they informed me THEN that there was a $10 purchase needed. I said okay $10? I will go to the gas station and be back. They said okay.I get back and ask for whatever is $10, and the SAME person who told me $10 laughed and said it actually has to be a cannabis purchase and the cheapest is $12. I asked if there was anything to do about it, as I work at a dispensary I would of personally ate the $2 from my register if o had misinformed a guest. Regardless of the money being short, the simple fact I was told something different twice and the inconvenience of going back and forth, it's simple customer service to honor what an employee had said.I spend good money there and they made me feel stupid and wasted my whole lunch break for what was supposed to be a free 8th.Lessons learned, go somewhere else to be treated properly and get better weed.

This place is the best in town. We live in VC and drive here even though there are many different places to go in between we always choose Thrive. The staff is amazing, prices are pretty similar to others but they have killer deals. If you are someone who doesn't smoke a lot or are new to the game this is where I would go. They will help you find out what is best for you. The bud tenders are all super knowledgeable. Definitely the spot.

It was a long drive over to this dispensary, so I was hoping it had good gummies. The place is massive so I assumed that there is a growing area somewhere.The check in process was the usual as all the other places in town.Thank goodness my girlfriend knew one of the brands they were selling, so we got a bunch of those.This is the largest dispensary in town! They have wonderful gummies that help if you have trouble sleeping. They are called "snoozeberries"They knock you out cold.

Not as excited about this Cannabis store after my last visit. I was specific about wanting Indica flower and just noticed she sold me a hybrid in place of the flower I requested. Really uncool. I'd heard other complaints about Thrive and now am beginning to see just what they were talking about. Not sure how fresh my flower was, seemed dry. Makes me question the label and how legit it actually is. There so many dispensers in town, it doesn't seem like best business plan to have your clients question the quality of your product. Yeah I was disappointed with my last visit here

Honestly I wouldn't come here again ever if my life depended on it. I'd rather go back to street lol. Fawk this place. Service, thumbs down. The prices! Too high. The weedies. Mediocre for a high price. 10 ppl working but only one register. Expect to wait 20-30 mins for a simple stop grab n go. Now, I know other dispensary have the same brands. But When you come here though. You get charged homie tax's Nv tax's. Local Reno tax's. Bs tax and u pretty much end up paying 50$ for a joint. Like I said I'll never come back here idc if it is down the street from my house. Terrible place to come to for ur goodies. Heading back to the old timer down the street. The Original the first one in town. Not this rundown overpriced sheeet! Heres a pic so you know where I'm talking bout. Dont believe me,  go in? See it for yourselves.

wish i could give this place a 0 star i went in to get thc edibles, i told the woman i wanted ones with no cbd so somehow she hears that as "only cbd gummies" as soon as i got to my car i realized what she did so i went back to get the ones i wanted and she said no refunds even though she was the moron who got the wrong gummies and now i have 40 dollar gummies i don't want. FUCK U THRIVE

Friendliest staff in town for sure! Also most reasonable pricing and number of options. There are always promotions going like 20% off or free add ons with a certain purchase. They have an easy check in process and  lots of parking too which makes it convenient. Their app is also easy to use and accumulate points super fast! You can also visit them in Las Vegas too! I've rotated thru so many dispensaries in town and this place takes the cake. Good flower, easy location, and super friendly and knowledgeable staff

The gentleman that helped us out was phenomenal. This is not at all a reflection of his work or help.  This is an issue with the management and packaging at thrive. We had not come to this dispensary in over a year due to the false advertisement on their website. We gave them one chance today in a pinch for time and I will never come back. "Due to Covid" we cannot touch look at or smell the wax. That's understandable, but you would think after 2 years, you would adapt something to help ensure that you have happy and returning customers. If you would simply flip around the jar in the package you would have a much better guest experience. As they can at least see the wax is in no way similar to what was described or shown online. Be Better

Absolutely love Thrive and would highly recommend this dispensary over any other in Reno! Beautiful open space with plenty of displays and super friendly and knowledgeable staff. The product selection has variety and includes options for all budgets. Really clean facility and they offer great rewards. Thanks for making me feel welcome!

I have not gone to a huge number of. Ahem "Leaf Purchase Stations" ?But thats because I've found Thrive. These people are the coolest. Most educational and fun people. Their prices are pretty good. Their selection is great, Their people are great. Thrive overall is fantastic. Worth a stop if your in the area for... Leaves

When I go in I analyze everything to the drive up to a dispensary, customers service, quality, efficiency, bud tender knowledge and of course price compared to the local market. Thrive was a wonderful place from the minute you enter the doors they treat you with such love and compassion. They are EXTREMELY knowledgeable of the product and is somewhere I would feel comfortable sending my own grandma. The product is arguably the best flower in Northern Nevada. The terms are extremely high and once you smoke the flower you will see what I mean. The product selection is just amazing. The prices are extremely reasonable because the quality of 95% of their product is out of this world. Recommend this to all. They do need to give better discounts to Veterans but even with that it’s a place I will continue to frequent. Thank you thrive love ya all.
