I did this on Google but they deleted my post...I've been a loyal customer to this company for almost 3 years now...Up to 9 months ago this was the best shop in town, but now I wouldn't recommend anyone shop here at all! The shelves are empty, they got rid of ALL of the awesome, original people (that have been there since the beginning), none of the new employees know the difference between a sativa, an indica or a hole in the ground and the whole vibe is just off and very novice...What happened to this place? What happened to all the budtenders that I knew and loved and could tell me about the products I'm buying? What happened to the products themselves? What happened to the service that we all relied on? What happened to the knowledge and honesty about the products on your shelves? It's obvious that you stopped caring about your employees, products, and most importantly, your customers. My question is, why? What changed? Are you trying to be a worse version of Main St. Marijuana with a smaller selection and higher prices? If so, congratulations... Mission accomplished!I'm very disappointed in the direction you are taking your company and I will not be giving you my business anymore. I'm also recommending that my family, friends and everyone I know who uses cannabis products to not shop here as well. I know that you (The Herbery management) do not and will not ever care about this review at all, but I hope that people shop anywhere else but this sad shell of a company that once existed. That's not even a response... you just proved that you really don't care but that's fine.  There's no comment feature to your response so I have to edit my review to give you the feedback you say you love and want...So if you do care, who is the one dropping the ball? Why has this company changed completely in the past several months? You need to get back to the business that won you "best in clark county" for 4 years. Not this pathetic attempt at a half-assed shop that you've become lately...If you don't care, that's totally fine too! Nobody else seems to care either... Just don't pretend that you care about people's needs, the products you sell or any kind of knowledge about cannabis or the CBD products on your shelves. Been here several times and each time I'm more and more disappointed. They charge ridiculous prices for packages, horrible trimming and overly pushy sales people.Again I'm gonna go back to the trimming . You buy packages of weed that are packed almost a year ago, they get dry, and you pay for the weight of stems andLeafs not the actual flower. Seriously makes the weed taste not great. My advice is go in and look for the strand you like , check for the cheapest things and get that. Cus if you buy anything over 20 bucks you will be extremely disappointed. Not to mention annoyed by the staff. They don't really know what the best is. Shitty weed and shitty trimmings. That's what you get at the Herbery.

I went in this past weekend and the nicest woman helped me. I don't know her name but she has orange hair and she made my life!! Thank you so much. My new reg spot thanks for her.

Great place to work. I could go on and on about how awesome the owner's are. Love all my co-workers, you're all so amazing!! This place made me who I am today. Without the Herbery I'd be a different person right now, working some job that I didn't like. Thank you Herbery for Existing

We were in and out in almost no time at all. There were several people buying things but the efficiency of the staff made it so no one was waiting. We stopped in on our way through Washington and The Herbery had exactly what we needed for our trip.

They need to improve conditions dealing with covid-19.  Should not be cash only, that is just asking for transmitting the virus.  Should not physically take your license from you to scan it.  Even though they do use a sanitizer wipe on it, this is still unnecessary and I have a feeling they are using the same sanitizer wipe on everyone's card.  I went in about a week ago because my normal dispensary was closed.  I had a bad feeling the whole time I was there.  I felt bad for the employees.  The employees are the real reason this review is 3 star, they are good people and god bless them for coming in to make sure people can get pot during a pandemic.  The day I went to Herbery was the first time I'd been out in about 2 and a half weeks and I had been totally healthy.  2-3 days after visiting the herbery, I started developing breathing problems.  I am not saying that I have covid-19 as I have not been tested, but I am saying that I didn't have breathing problems before visiting the Herbery.   One other positive is that they do open the door for you when you leave, and they do make an attempt to practice social distancing with tape outlining distance from the counters.  Those measures are appreciated.  Anyway, thanks again to the employees for being committed and risking your health to help people like me have access to our medicine.

This has been my go to place for over a year. Knowledge staff, great prices, and friendly faces. Unfortunately, the last few times I've been there, the vibe has definitely changed. They have new people, with flatline personalities that were as helpful as a stubbed toe. I'm starting to think I need to find a new place, where I can get the kind of customer service I am accustomed to receiving from Matt and Chris. Hopefully, this is just temporary help until the real staff comes back from vacation, if not, I'm done.

Love the budtenders at this location. They are fun and super informed and knowledgeable about their inventory. I always leave with quality product that fits my budget. **edited to give a proper shout at to Christian. He is my go to guy when ever he is there. He always picks a winner.

Been coming to the Herbery here for about a couple months and everyone who works here is extremely attentive. Taylor is a bud tender and is always greeting customers with enthusiasm and helping me find quality product, he is great behind the counter and with customers! It's always relaxing and fun to go in and find some bud.

Best pot shop in the NW! Great staff with tons of knowledge!! I love the huge selection!!! Top of the line, Premium Buds!!!! The Herbery is #1!!!!!

The quality of care here is amazing.  Nathan has been my budtender and has never faltered.  Flow for my husbands back, edibles that calm, and the fun stuff in between.  Cudos friends, and cheers for rockin it Nathan!!

Not usually a reviewer, but just had poor customer service experience at this location. Everyone is friendly until there's a problem. Then they then all evil corporation and can't be bothered. I was very surprised. If you want to go to Herbery avoid this location.

I've been going to this store for about 2 years and everyone is always friendly and quick. I never mind if I have to wait. But today I had an arrogant PUNK person wait on me today. Rude and a jerk!!! Don't want to go back he knew he was being rude what an ass! Just lost my business!!!!!

I love it when Mike the door man is at the door welcoming me and others in. Always has a smile... upbeat... positive attitude. Makes you feel like family.  Oh and cant leave the rest of you beautiful budtenders you are truly appreciated thank you for all you do! Help keep me sane lol

They took the time to respond to my review, always a plus in my book no matter the comments.  Thanks Jim!Unfortunately, I think you may have missed your mark once again.  Here is my response to a few of Jim's comments...A few definitions to inform the readers.Dab: A small amount of something.  Most often used in reference to vaporizing hash or Dapper Dan's hair products.Hash: A concentrated Marijuana product.*As defined by Washington and Oregon Law*Concentrate: A concentrated mj product produced without the use of solvents.Extract: A concentrated mj product produced with the use of a solvent, most commonly Butane or CO2 gas.Jim: "We don't call bubble hash dabs."Me: "Neither do I.  I call bubble hash "bubble hash"." When I called your shop I was told that you don't carry hash and was suggested dabs instead.  But since you bought it up, you can dab bubble hash the very same way you dab BHO.  Try it sometime!Jim: Hash is a concentrate but we call hash... well hash.Me: Hash is a concentrate, I agree."I also sometimes call hash ... well hash.  I call bubble hash "bubble hash", I call brick hash "brick hash". I just tried to go into this store with a valid and unexpired Maryland ID and they denied my entrance. The manager said he didn't know what a Maryland ID looked like so he couldn't let me in and that he was "iffy" on the Oregon license my friend presented (valid and unexpired) but that he would let her in? This seems like a strange and inconsistent policy. I work in the cannabis industry, the manager and employees need to keep up to date on acceptable identification and also employ consistent policies.

They didn't let me in because my ID wasn't horizontal. Not the law just their preference. Even though I'm 21 I cannot go here because my ID isn't facing the way they want it. Any other dispo has no issues. I'm not going to give this one my business. I work at a smoke shop and have no problem passing sting operations whether the ID is brand new or not. Silly rule.

The Herbery is my go-to pot shop in Clark County. They consistently offer a wide array of products with attention to quality and unbeatable customer service.

I can find some pretty good strands here from time to time, but it's the most expensive spot I've been to so far. I do not recommend

Surprised to see such a low rating for this place. I really like it. It's not huge, but it's not packed like a bar, screaming over the counter what you want without being able to get any advice due to the crowded and loud environment like some places around here. The staff is nice and knowledgeable. It's clean and cozy. Prices seem fine to me... Good product costs money... That's life, people. I'd recommend this place to anyone who asked where to go. I come here at least twice a month and will continue to do so. Thanks Herbery!

So I've been coming to this dispensary for a couple years I've always preferred it to Sticky's pot shop. I live much closer to Sticky's but I would prefer to drive the extra 10 minutes to the herbery because normally I go into Sticky's and I walk right back out and have to go to the herbery anyway. What prompted me to do this review is the fact that the herbery St Johns has been a consistent place for me and that their product is of high quality and reasonable price and an appreciable variety to pick from. The staff is wonderful especially the blonde haired man with the heart tattoo on his forearms that always says thank you for existing. Whenever I'm having a bad day and that guy is there I just feel so cared about when he acknowledges me even though we do not know each other. Anyway trying to get back to my main reason for the post the herbery moved downstairs at the location there's more room to check things out and it's not as compact of the upstairs and I went and I got 2 dab products and I am so happy with both of them the first one is pineapple sugar wax buy or grow the second one is Sherbert by dab stract both are amazing in texture taste and body high. I love that they have new products often and they hang on to the brands that have the best quality so if you don't find anything new you want to try you can always Bank on leaving with something that you've had before and that you're okay with having again because of how good it was

This is probably my favorite location to visit, these people are always super funny, quick, knowledgeable, and I feel the pricing is beyond fair, especially given the convenience and customer service they provide. There's occasionally someone playing ukulele as he checks IDs-he's super positive and a great musician, Camille is very friendly and helpful, Sarah is a doll and asset to your team, Dominic is a peach and always compliments my hair (he obviously knows good hair), Christian is a crack up, Nathan is very polite and helpful... I could go on. Over the last year I've had nothing but positive interactions. Even when they've been slammed, they've been polite. They are clearly well staffed-they just have busy times like any other business (except if I go to Safeway, there's 1 checker stand in a sea of empty ones, here there's someone at every counter if not more than 1) and I would have to assume any negative interactions written about on here are user error or catching someone on a really off day. They also have the best selection of edibles, and any time I walk in the music playing has been on point. It feels like walking into the Nordstrom of marijuana.

Love this place, herbery is awesome they have great staff, Christian is awesome always spreading the love, really exemplifies the culture and is always spreading love makes it worth my while.

Staff is always helpful, kooky and friendly. I always get my bud from here. U4iK always is hard to get but speaks of their quality.

I used to not be such a fan of the Herbery but then money got tight and I had to stop shopping at High End and Greenhead and care about gross things like "price". This location is pretty run-down, the carpet is super nasty, you have to go up an entire fucking flight of stairs, and it's always crowded, but the selection is pretty great, they're usually having some sort of special, and they have the CanPay app so you don't have to bring cash. The staff is always super duper friendly and able to recommend something new and exciting.

Came into the Herbery for my first time and I got helped out by Taylor he was great very informative and knowledgeable helped me find just what I need and get some great quality product! Definitely will be coming back again the staff and place is awesome!

I came in for some cbd topical ointment for my lower back pain. Lynn helped me find the right product for my circumstance. She was very knowledgeable and friendly. I will be back. Thank you

The worst weed shop I've ever been to. Seriously every time I come here the service is absolute garbage.

Terrible customer service every time I go and I don't even know these people haha! I just put on a smile, stay positive get what I need and leave as fast as possible. It's unfortunate Vancouver doesn't have many dispensaries

This establishment really deserves 2.5 stars for being perfectly average. I wanted to try somewhere new so visited just to check it out. My thoughts:1. Very friendly staff. The Herbery is everything Main street is not. They're nice, don't act rushed and annoyed by every question, etc. Certainly the highlight of coming here. 2. Selection was average. I thought they didn't have close to the selection of Main Street. 3. Prices are not competitive. They're not super high but definitely not great or a value. Their least expensive 3.5g was $25. That isn't even close to competitive with other shops for just average flower.Overall I will likely mever return because of high prices and limited selection.

Used to be a great place, but as others have mentioned, they've really gone downhill the last couple months. Budtenders are clueless, and there's no happiness in the store anymore. Now it's the kind of place where the employees leave 5-star reviews so you don't notice the collapse.Edit to add:Jim has replied below stating that putting up employee reviews would be pathetic, and I totally agree. Yet here's what Christian said a bit ago:Great place to work. I could go on and on about how awesome the owner's are. Love all my co-workers, you're all so amazing!! So are you going to keep lying on your Yelp page or are you going to come clean about having your employees post reviews? When in a hole, stop digging.

On a day I'd like to have lit the world on fire, I found myself in need of a chill pill. I was just across the way eating for the first time in about 20 hours. I didn't feel like crossing town to my usual shop so after my meal, I drove a cross the street and parked. After proving my dashing good looks just make me look young and that I am old enough to enter, I was greeted by Dominic. Dominic asked what I was on the hunt for. He listened to my wants and then showed me my options. That's the kind of bud tender I like. I don't like feeling pressured to look at only top shelf. Or what they need to push. I have certain brands I want, certain strains.  I asked for Blue Magoo or Blue Dream.  I got Magoo. After a good 8" tall burger and a chill pill, all was right in my world again.

Hmm, what's that hanging on your wall up there? Maybe next time you get broken into you can call BLM, not VPD.

This has been my favorite store for many years now. I have appreciated the knowledgeable staff and friendliness of everyone. Maybe it's because they have they best job in the world!I like this store for its consistently in product. They don't have the largest selection of growers but they have a large selection from each grower that they do carry. Based on what I have seen at other smaller weed shops, it seems that some of their prices are higher... especially considering that they buy, I'd assume, larger quantities than any other venue in the area. But for me the location is convenient and the few bucks extra are just worth it for me.I miss some of the familiar faces from the past but I'm pretty easy to please as a customer and am usually in a good mood when in a pot shop... I mean it's like my favorite store... so I was particularly surprised today when I had a negative experience with my bud tender. I walked in after a very busy 10 hour work day. I had a big smile on my face and I knew what I wanted. The parking lot looked busy when I had pulled in but there were only about 8 customers in the store at that moment. I think (Kaleb?) turned from the register to greet me. I smiled and made a comment about business before a big holiday. He had no expression. I said a second thing and he looked confused. I said, I'm trying to joke around with you but I'm not sure you can handle it. He said -I can handle it, I just don't want to. He continued by telling that he's had a long day and is almost off work so he's tired. -- I'm not sure how long my pause was before I told him the grower I prefer and asked which strain would be best- he helped me. Our interaction lacked luster from that point forward. I was pretty turned off by him in general and if any other shop was in the area I would have walked out. Maybe that's an overreaction but I felt pretty annoyed by the comments.When I have a good experience in this store, I usually at the register will ask the bud tender if there is a favorite joint they are liking. If they seem put off because, I'm at the register and should have asked sooner - I just say thank you, pay for my stuff and move on (that's happened 2x in 100x) when they are eager to show me their favorite- I buy it and give it to them. This guy- will probably never get a tip from me-anything is possible but my first impression is not a good one. I'll absolutely keep coming in. I guess I just hope that the new employees will realize that most of the regular customers spend 400-500$ a month in that business... would be cool if the new guys understood who is really paying their bills.UPDATE: pretty impressed by a thoughtful and speedy response. Def a good pit stop for the herb. Wasn’t ever told the laws in WA so been going to at least two shops to get my buds and dabs. Planned on picking up a zip and then heading to Main Street for the dabs but Jon/Joe/Jim kid in the backwards hat help me out, told me I could get the max of everything not just one thing. Got me a couple fire half Os that was on sale and some good saucy diamonds from Panda. Thanks for saving me sum time.

The best dispensary in Vancouver- particularly for customer service. Super friendly, always willing to figure out any questions. The store is always clean and well presented. If you go into any Herbery location they're always spotless. I've been going here since they opened, there's some of the same people still working at the stores from back then and it's been great to have consistent recommendations and knowledge. Prices are good, I find that I wish they had more variety in brands, which may be because I've tried so much of what they have, but they carry great product either way. This is my favorite Herbery location, followed by the 78th st one.

Legit the Friendliest People You Will Ever Have the Pleasure to Shop With! Like, from the minute you walk in the door, to the minute you get to the counter, everyone is just soooooo over the top friendly! But in a real genuine way! Not obnoxious, not harassing you asking what you need, just people happy to help when you need it! Never have to wait when I'm ready to order! And absolutely amazing selection! Def the spot to pick up some stuff!
