Not at all careful about covid. Not enforcing social distancing. Inadequate masking. Loud so you have to lean in to hear. Didn't explain things things very well. Not impressed.
The customer service here is far below subpar, and the management is known throughout the community as being shady. With so many better options in Vancouver Washington, I wouldn't recommend going to the store unless you were on foot, downtown Vancouver, because parking is extremely difficult as well.
For a place that seems to want its customers to have their shit together before ordering, they don't seem to have their shit together. It felt crowded/busy on a Monday around noon. Things might be better when there are fewer people in the store.
A very disappointing first visit to this shop. I was warmly greeted by the receptionist and immediately helped by a nice gentleman with long hair. I chose a couple products with him, then walked around to check out the store. I had asked for a 0.5g cartridge but he wrote down 1g, which I didn't notice until another budtender was helping me, who acted like I was nuts when I asked to switch to the 0.5g. I guess they advertise two price points, but don't have both in inventory. I felt rushed and ended up with distillate (which I don't care for) vs. co2. I strongly dislike that the default is not to choose the product you receive. My budtender was surprised and hesitant when I asked to physically look at a jar. Had I not caught it at register, I would've been given a different strain than I had asked for. They then sent my order back and I stood around waiting 10+ minutes for them to switch that one product. I almost wish I had ended up with the wrong strain, as maybe it wouldn't have been harvested in November 2018 (it is now September 2019). Driest, harshest weed I have *ever* purchased at a weed store. There were zero concentrates which I felt were worth my money. Pre-roll selections were sorely lacking. I asked for something higher end and my budtender drew a blank, other than a 5pk for $41. I spent $100+ and would not recommend this shop.Edited to add (and a star subtracted): check out the replies from "Adam H." on some of these negative yelp reviews. Yikes!!! Dude cannot take criticism. I was considering giving this place a second chance, but now there is absolutely no way.
I've gone to other places but always come back here. Staff is knowledgeable and friendly. What they provide is safe, clean, efficient consideration for your needs. No muss no fuss. My go to store.
Favorite place to shop!!! Customer service is always perfect, and Liz is awesome. check it out!!
My first visit to Main Street Marijuana couldn't have better. A friend recommended the Tiger Balm roll for arthritis pain. Lindsey was so helpful explaining the different kinds. Everyone was wearing masks and all were very helpful. The whole shop was set up beautifully. It is easy to find and there is parking out back,
This place sold me a cart that had my hurt throating for weeks and the oil is very runny. Hit other good carts from here but 25 a gram is cheaper than street pricing in my normal area should have known it would have been fake.
This business has very poor respect for the people who frequent the shop. I wouldn't go back here ever
This store is AWFUL. If your not a regular or one of their friends they will make you wait until your the last person in the store. Bud tenders will LEGIT make eye contact with you, say they'll be with you in a minute and then proceed to help 4 other people after you. This has got to be the WORST customer service in Vancouver. The Herbery (all locations) is amazing. You walk in and they help you. You never have to wait 20 minutes to get your medicine. The Herbery has more benefits to spending your money there than Main Street. Take your money elsewhere everyone!
I have never left a bad review for a dispensary, and I have been to some very very poor ones. This store did not look like that, as when I entered 10 minutes until close time it was full of around 20 customers and 10ish employees. My girlfriend had given me a list of what to grab, but it was for the East location. My bud tender told me he would help me find similar items, and I had my girlfriend work on looking at the correct menu instead. Now of course I completely understand how closing times work, and how no one would want to stay late. That being said, a customer should never be rushed and basically pushed out the door the way I was after 10:55 hit. I used to work at a restaurant, and having to stay sometimes up to an hour after close for people to finish eating and clean up I felt absolutely no sympathy for these 10 workers who all almost all had clocked out and left by 11. As I was being wrung up, after being cut off short of finishing my order, one of the workers on her way out read aloud the writing on the tip jar "Tip your bud tender". Even though I did not feel compelled to leave a tip, I felt that comment was almost directed at me so I searched in my wallet for any extra dollars, only finding 20's. I told the cashier if they break this 20 I could leave a tip and he said "No man we just need you to get out of here". I will absolutely never return to this store, and will actively deter any friends from giving them business. I drove over 6 hours to get to the store, and was insulted my sale was keeping these employees from getting home to their smoke sessions. I would leave 0 stars if an option!
They are disrespectful ass holes they need to teach how to talk with customers un professional recommends going to vamsterdam...
Bought a vape pen that started leaking oil in. Y mouth in the first pull. Thought it bAck literally working forty five minutes of buying it, with the full receipt and everything and not only did they refuse to return it they were rude af about the whole ordeal.Trash, plus they have terrible customer service when you walk in you can be waiting forever to even be greeted.Save your money, their weed is stale as hell anyway. That's actually the whole reason I started vaping.UPDATE: after I left my review, the owner Ramsey Hamde looked up my business (which he's never been to) and left a one star review. I sent him a message asking why he left the poor review as I'm a barber and I don't recall ever cutting his hair, and this guy sent me a bunch of FB messages literally threatening to kill me (I posted a picture of the thread in the picture section).Absolutely insane.I have a one year old son and wife that I support by working seven days a week, true story. The fact that the owner of this business would rather threaten to literally kill me than find a return policy that isn't from the eighteenth century should tell you everything you need to know about this business. Patronize at your own risk. This isn't just bad business, these are actually terrible humans.Crazy.
On a good day, it's a least a half hour drive but it has always been worth the trip. Selection, prices and service. What else do you need?
Unprofessional staff. Ask them to weigh product in front of you and bring your own scale to weigh your product. They short people. Shorted me and pretty much accused me of lying. Stay away from shady place.
This place has everything! It's definitely the biggest dispensary I've been to in the Portland/Vancouver area. The reason I'm giving them 4 stars instead of 5 because they lack customer service. They're not as friendly as they used to be. You don't really get greeted when you walk in. Such a bummer. I come here for the products and they always have quality stuff for the cheapest prices! Never lets me down... It is always busy here so expect that when you come in there's a wait. You pick out what you like, pay in cash, then they'll give you a number and call your name!
Visited for first time today with family from out of town. My thoughts:1. Very crowded 2. Terrible customer service. The girl that helped us was short, rude and acted like she hated her job. 3. Their selection and prices are a 4 or 5 star level and the only reason to return.
Wow! This is the best place in the Northwest to get that bad boy! Came in last night for a reup of that sticky stank and was blown away by the prices! NWCS flower is the lowest priced fire I've ever seen! Im talkin low low! My budtender, name of Darnald Sprangus, pointed out some beautiful ounce jars that I could probably covert to store my quartz crystal collection between charges after I smoked up all that beautiful nug nug encased in that hittah. Gang-Gang!They recently got a beautiful mural installed of a magical spaceman floating amongst a jungle of some bubonic chronic that made me pause and reflect upon my own life, and what I might accomplish if I keep plowing along and working at my goals rather than getting tripped up in all the trivialities of this modern world and the focus on divisive politics and social media technologies which I believe have been constructed to keep us separated from ourselves and the true meaning of life, the real meat and potatoes connection that we're all put here to try to learn from and grow to spread to every being and thing that we collide into as we struggle to make it through the day to day rat race trapping us from becoming the majestic rastafari lions dwelling within us all: Love. Really started spiraling in on myself until my buzzer rang and I had to go up and pick up that fire ganja. When leaving, I noticed the doorman had on some cool black gloves that really put my mind at ease. If you're in the NW, I don't know why you would go anywhere else. Take a chance, Columbus did!
I used to go here when I first got my medical card at 18 for my chronic pain. I loved it, until one day they wouldn't let me in because they had a change in management and their new management wouldn't allow people under 21 with a medical card in anymore. Because of this I haven't gone here in years despite being over 21 now because I was so angry about this. I came today because they had some strains I wanted, and when I gave them my medical card they refused to accept it because they are no longer even doing medical cards. I don't see how this is legal. I'll take my business over to better dispensaries that are affirming of medical conditions.
If I was to describe dispensaries, there's some with a "upscale/ Starbucks" feel to them, this is more of a "McDonalds" feel. It's always packed when I go. There's parking in the back, plenty, so you don't have to pay to park on Main Street, just park in the designated sign area. FYI. They have deals, from B grade to top shelf, as soon as you try to go in, they check your ID at the door and then (newly remodeled) there's atms at the far left, some glass selection with rolling papers etc. the middle island contains all the herb, all the way around. Everything is in pre packaged, sealed packaging from the manufacturer, unlike Oregon dispensaries where they weigh out the flower sometimes. Edibles separated by CBD and thc items, and all the wax/cocentrate oils on the right. They have a menu that's HUGE and they say it changes a couple times a day, AND it's printed out daily. Budtenders will leave you alone if you want, or help you select items.. They write down your order and take your money and give you a buzzer like at Olive Garden, with your number on it.Once it buzzes, go to the cashier, receive your items and your change. Tip jar by cashier. Seems like it's shared so if you want to tip your budtender directly, you have to give them money afterwards. Or separate from your bus payment. Highly recommend to bring if you have a tourist, and want to show off. It's intense sometimes, but hey, it's packed for a reason. They have an award winning concentrate for like $15 a gram. It's my go to.
Vibe is cool, so many awesome choice from edibles to cartridges to blunts to just regular marijuana. Staff is very helpful and honest about the product. The security at the door was funny, I'd like to have his job! The shop is located in a busy area but parking is free in the back which surprised me but i like it.
Went here a week ago and a preroll wasn't put in my bag after paying for it. Called and spoke to Josh (I think that's who it was) and he left our name on their desk (what he said he was going to do) and said we could pick it up the following weekend. Came back today and it was replaced. That says a lot about a business. It's commendable. Aside from that, this place has tons of good selection. Staff is very knowledgeable and has fantastic recommendations. I highly recommend them.
This is the very first recreational shop I had ever visited back when Mary Jane first became legal for rec usage. The place was packed and had a line out the door. Prices were around 30 bucks a gram at the time and I was dumb enough to pick up a dub from this joint just for the experience. You put in what you'd like in writing, and somebody fills your order up in a small brown paper bag with your name on it...It was pretty high quality flower.....I recently visited again and was surprised to discover that their prices are actually on the much cheaper end relative to shops up in King County.....we're talking 8ths between 20-30 bucks !! Crazy steal !!
Great great prices and wonderful service. Fast friendly and worth a stop. Purchased 2 cartridges a 1 gram pre-roll and 7 grams of flower what!!!! Yes all that for 50$ Wow definitely the pkace to stop while in portland.
Stop 3 of 4 on my Vancouver "Cannabis Clinics" tour. The Bad: This place was kind of the K-Mart of pot shops. It's cramped, it's plain, & there's a fan running in the corner instead of having AC. By far the busiest of the shops I checked out, and it made me feel rushed to leave. (not really their fault)The Good: It's not pretty, but this was actually my favorite stop on my tour. Anything they're doing wrong, they make up for it by nailing the things that they're doing right. Attentive sales staff (even on a crazy busy day). Easy to browse the product and see the prices (bonus points). A binder with additional information, including effects, flavors, etc. As far as I know, this was the only place presenting the product in this way, and I really liked it. Last but not least, GREAT prices. Overall the prices on the product seemed to be lower across the board, though it could just be that the layout helped you find cheap options. Not a perfect experience, but more than made up for it with some of the other perks.
Doesn't even deserve one star! Bought hundreds of dollars worth of cartridges and vaping paraphernalia some cartridges did not work at all. I tried returning the $30 cartridges that did not work. Although I had a receipt and all packaging they refuse to return or exchange the defective products after 7 days (it's been 2 weeks since I purchased. Very rude management that hung up on me, unknowledgeable staff. WillNever shop here again. Terrible place go somewhere else to shop.
Terrible customer service and underwhelming product. I've been here a handful of times and only because I live close by and I've known this spot for years. Otherwise, I pick other dispensaries with friendly budtenders that actually know their product. Today, I went in to purchase some edible candies as a last minute need. The candies were wrapped in a parchment like paper but they were totally glued to the paper to the point where it took 5 minutes to peel the paper away from the candies and even then, tiny bits of paper were still stuck and I would have to carve them out with a knife. Basically, I didn't like the product and I wanted a refund. I called Main Street and explained the situation, and they said they would be happy to replace the product for another, or refund me my money. So I went in with the bag of edibles expecting an exchange or refund, per the phone convo I had with whoever. The employee I spoke to said there was nothing they could do and I would have to take it up with the manufacturer. What?! Then why did a different employee on the phone waste my time by telling me i should come down there? After I said that, the employee started treating me like I was acting hostile (because I kept affirming that someone on the phone told me I could have a refund or exchange) and they just kept telling me they wouldn't take it so I expressed my frustration and left. As I was leaving, the security guard yelled at me and i didn't hear what they said except "don't come back!!!!" You bet I won't come back, and I'll be telling everyone to pick a different spot to get their weed because this place is AWFUL!
I was a semi-regular customer until I recently purchased a half ounce, came home and realized there was no safety seal, weighed it out, and it was short by nearly 2 grams. When I called to report it to the store, I encountered disrespectful and unprofessional customer service. They took no responsibility for having purchased product from a grower not following LCB regulations. Both parties are at fault in my opinion. So make sure your bud is safety sealed, people.
I told my ma while I was in town I wasn't going to visit any of these places but I couldn't help myself. This place has a huge and overwhelming selection. The budtenders while nice, they typically give some terrible recommendations. I'm not sure what their motives are for suggesting such low quality products could be. Clear out old inventory? Incentives to sell certain growers? I really don't know, but every single time I've followed a suggestion from a worker it has always been some of the harshest and lowest quality product I've ever ingested. There are some good deals to be found here, but you have to do your own research before going in and don't ask for any suggestions.
I bought a vaporizer that came with two coils one broke so i purchased a spare for 10$ and asked for a receipt it didn't fit so I brought it back receipt in hand.. I stand in the return line then they tell me all sales are final no store credit nothing.. So im done..At least New Van rewards u for your business but Main St does the opposite they could two shits about their costomers.. Main St Fuck You!! The End...
I used to love this place... Super cheap prices for ounces ($130-140), so I wasn't expecting the *best* quality, but this is probably the last time I buy here. Boss Buds is who they get most of their ounces through and the quality is TERRIBLE. They are all so dry that the buds turn to complete dust. It smokes so fast from being so old (harvest date is 10-5-15 and I bought it on 1/18/16) and dry that it is worth spending twice as much elsewhere for fresh buds. Their higher priced stuff is similar quality as everywhere else, same price as Oregon, even with the tax hike over there. This store used to be the one I told EVERYONE about, but since they only stock this outdoor Boss Buds crap for ounces, I won't be going back until it changes. I got better stuff when I was a teenager. This is like luxury dirt weed.
Please check your harvest dates before purchasing. Got home and saw a harvest date nearly a year old. Response from a manager was: "I've had year old weed that was fine." If quality is a concern of yours try a lower volume dispensary.
Cash only! They sold out in 2 hours! Better arrive early if you want to partake. They have good prices on their basic pipes ($7-15). I got an average sized one for $7. Their mj is priced a little high, and they currently stock just two kinds; however, as one of the first stores to open their doors I think that's to be expected. On the plus side their prices include tax.
I've been going to Downtown main for years, the only thing that truly sucks if the parking. It's a busy, busy store, I've never had any problems with any budtender.. Seriously my favorite store in Vancouver
Service was great, but the weed was a major disappointment. The only strain left was Fast and Vast so I bought 2 grams. It got me high fast but it didn't last long so I kept having to smoke more, which sucks because it cost $50. Another thing, it tasted bad and left a really gross aftertaste. My advice is to save your money until prices drop and they get new strains. Also, they only accept cash and they have an ATM inside
I bought an eighth and it was short .4 grams. When I buy one or two gram items they are weighed out correctly. Not this time with the larger amount. So disappointing.
They sold me defective vape cartridges, and refused to honor thier return policy. The defective brand, NWCS Crystal Clear, was an unsolicited recommendation by a store employee. The doorman later told me: NWCS Crystal Clear is their most returned item. They knew the product was defective when they sold it to me.The "customer service" employee was unpleasant and accusing. She wouldn't let me get a word in.
They suck, place is crawling with MR.& Mrs CLEAN & Sober. ( Don't know good weed Bro) Never again. It's the Bob & Molly show there. ( Faux Bob Marley) They snitch their Mom off for smoking tabacco. Spoiled "Valley"Mall rats with zero class and rude manners. Definitley from the more money than brains crowd. Your weed is cheap, vulgar tastes like fertilizer & insecticide. Only reason I went in there was to celebrate "LEGAL WEED" ( By the way they totally blow my high). Not look not socialize with the staff. They obviously need a lot of help with their love life. They not Betty Boop, they some famous drunkard. (12 DUII,?). Me I'll rent a car and go get some Indian weed grown in the sunshine & mountain down the YUROK Reservation. ( They don't know you and when you show up there no weed beer not even a cigarette). Not to worry after the insult asault of my senses. I walked around the corner and found a much classier, finner place of business. Celebration ensued with STAR WARS & Good Grinds. The staff here would be more at home at a kegger at the river in their 4/4 flexing their muscles at freshman and ffist fighting over young ladies attention, forcing guests to pay for the HAMMS ICE coming out the keg. What I see is a "WannaBe" on his KMART mountain ( sic) wearing a MARLBORO jacket smoking a cigarette, jeans high top NIKE , a chain drive wallet stuffed with $1 bills.
WHAT A GREAT TIME TO BE ALIVE!!!!!!I never thought I'd live to see the day when marijuana would be legal and I could stop in a pot shop... excuse me, DISPENSARY... and load up on the green stuff. Walking into this store was a trip, not sure if pun intended. We parked across the street by some swanky condos and were immediately greeted at the door by a friendly ID checker. We walked in and there were tons of items on display. Edibles, glassware, pre-rolled joints, etc. There was a menu to pick what you wanted. Since I've only had pretty much whatever was available, I wasn't too knowledgeable about what I wanted. Someone suggested some strains to me and I purchased a few prerolls and a chocolate toffee bar.I knocked a star off only because they were pretty pricey - $2 for a lighter? Yep, and they know you're gonna pay it too. The prerolls I got were $8 a piece. But that's including tax and that's the main reason it got legalized in the first place. HOORAY FOR THE FUTURE! NOW WHERE THE HELL IS MY HOVER BOARD?!
If your you're in the area, this is a must stop! They have a wide selection of marijuana. Customer service is outstanding. Staff is polite, engaging, and very knowledgeable! I can't wait to come back and visit their store! Kudos Main Street!!! Picked up on awesome strains there. They also have a killer dip stick selection. The entire place was organized and ran like a well oiled machine. You place your order and within minutes it appears in a small little basket, you pay, it gets put in a brown paper bag and out the door you go.Fast, simple, and super fun! Can't wait to come back!
This place sold me moldy hash. An inconvenience but honestly not a big deal. What made me irritated was when I took it back and they refused to refund, exchange, or accommodate me in any way. Their website says the supplier can be contacted but does not list the information for the supplier of the moldy hash. When I sent a respectful e-mail inquiring about contact info for the supplier they did not respond. I will never be going back to this place. Even the black market dealers I've met would have had the integrity to take back a clearly unusable product. This place hides behind the WA state law that says "no refunds" even though it sold me a worthless, unusable product in the first place. The responsibility should be on them to supply mold-free cannabis. If the product came "as advertised" I would never have tried to return it but it is not safe to use. The staff had found out about the moldy hash and taken it off the shelves but still had no plans to make it up to people it was sold to. The reality is they don't care about their customers.
There are better recreational/medical shops. If you go here recheck the weight, don't count on your vape cartridge to last long and expect the poorest customer service you've ever experienced along with high prices. This shop might look like it has a great selection but they are as greedy as shit and don't give a rats ass about your satisfaction. Go somewhere that actually cares about your experience and wants you to return.
Good bud. Stock runs low often. Wait time varies.
Waited 15 minutes for help while other patrons that came in after me were taken care of. While they have what I came here for they obviously don't want my money. I left and I won't be back.
Great place. Lots of selection. They are quick to help and get you on the road. Alexis is really helpful. Thank you for all the help.
First visit to a dispensary in Washington and wow, I couldn't be happier that it was at MSM. This place is massive in comparison to the shops I've been to in Portland. The menu is quite extensive and has a variety of prices like I've never seen before. You can tell that the budtenders really care about the product, David recommended me Orange Sno Cone from High State Farm's and man did it not disappoint! Looking forward to coming back on my next trip.
This is the place you want to go first. Hands down. I moved to the area this summer and have been all over Vancouver. For selection and price, there's no comparison. Nice thing is you don't have to take my word for it. You've likely searched for "marijuana" in Vancouver, WA, and this will likely come up first along with a few others. Simply go to the menus for each store and compare selection and pricing. If you're looking for Hash and Kief, as I am, this is definitely where you'll end up. The $15/g hash is so cheap I use it every hit at night, and the $20/g kief is my daytime additive. They don't usually have Bubble Hash, but you can get that for $50 at HEMP. Very nice, but too steep for daily use. They have wax, shatter, and an extensive selection of other vape products, but that's not my forte. Same thing with the edibles and topicals. They have a great selection, and I tried some edibles (cookies and candy) when a non-smoking friend came to town, but not my preferred way to bake. For actual weed, this is also the place you will want to go. Before coming out here, from the midwest, you were just happy with being able to buy and weren't so much worried about the brand, selection, or even price. More recent years have opened up some interesting choices around the country, but now, at Main Street (on Main Street), they have a variety of half ounces for $60 - $75. You can finely hone your smoking experience and smoke your sativas during the day and indicas at night as God intended. ;) Go crazy instead and mix it up or toss in some hybrids. Limited at 1 ounce a day, I'll admit I sometimes am tempted to make additional stops to stock up so I don't have to make the long drive as often, but I also look at the menus, and it's hard to find anything near the selection or pricing as MSM. I'm sure when things across the river open up for everything next year, I'll be taking a look there as well, but as of now this is THE place to be.
Yikes, I'm gonna be honest in that all my experiences til now have been fairly neutral...but after today, never again. There are just too many shops with at least mediocre customer service to bother with this.Purchased a cartridge at roughly 230. After the 35 minute drive home, we determined it didn't work. No worries, these things happen. Return to shop just before 5 with full cartridge, box, and receipt to be told that their tester says its fine but bring in the battery and if its of appropriate voltage they will replace the cartridge. It should be noted no where on packaging is any voltage adviced but as this isn't my first time using them I'm aware of the guidelines.I have a variable voltage battery set to 3.2, they insist its burning at 3.4 and if I would just buy one of their overpriced pull batteries or will surely work fine and if it doesn't they will replace it.Irritated but determined, I realize I have one of their batteries, with their logo sitting at home. Que another hour driving while we return home, grab the battery they are adamant will work ( suprise, suprise it doesn't) and return to store with the cartridge, packaging, receipt, and battery labled main st marijuana, the exact battery they insisted we purchase.Guess who says they are still unwilling to issue a refund, and instead offer us half off a new cartridge. Thanks for wasting my time I guess? Sorry but shops are a dime a dozen, no reason to go somewhere who blatantly lies, refuses to honor their own return policy, and gets snarky when you question them. Seriously. Avoid. We were fine until we had an issue, and I expect its about the same to everyone as the managers response to losing business was to comment "you aren't the first to say that you wont be back due to this, and I'm perfectly fine with that."
I've gone to Main Street regularly now for about a year and a half. It really is a toss up. There is like a 50/50 chance on everything... 50/50 it's gonna be packed and no one will get to you for quite some time, 50/50 on whether or not the person helping you knows anything at all. Tons of product which is nice. The warranty on cartridges and other products they carry and make sure to tell you about every time is nice, but what they neglect to tell you is if they stop carrying what you bought you are SOL. Which is what happened to me. I got a AIROPRO through their store, and was having issues with the battery, not only would they not help me trouble shoot, they talked me around in circles mostly and ended up telling me my warranty I had wouldn't help me because they don't carry the item anymore. So yeah. I'm pretty salty. Fuck that prissy joke of a dispensary.
I stopped by a food cart accross the street with the Girlfriend, and while we awaited our order we popped by MJM to see what was new. Turns out... a whole lot had changed!Prices had absolutely plummeted. The prices used to compete with the cruddiest of "black market" purchase prices. The prices however were downright amazing for being available to any dude who just walks in off the street! $40-60 half ounces!?!?!? Holy crap! The layout is still rather meh, and the overall ambiance still reminds me of a fly by night joint (they could close down and clear out in under 24 hours it's so basic). That said though, the pricing has gotten insanely good, and they kept it all flowing pretty good for how busy it was. Tons of selection, lots of quantity... I was surely impressed. Way to rock it!
I have been here several times. I will drive 45 mins out of my way to receive quality product. I have never been let down. Each time is almost a new experience due to the variety of products they offer. If you have any questions ask your bud tenders they tend to offer great advise. They aren't overpriced in my opinion, they have great product, friendly staff, knowledgable staff, and a fast paced atmosphere. The first time you stop in just take a moment to absorb everything, ask your bud tenders questions, and check out all the product. Sometimes you can feel like you are in the middle of a subway station with all the rucus. However the experience is completely different than any other pot shop I've been to.
Fantastic place. Largest selection I have ever seen. Staff was friendly and very knowledgeable. They currently have a great $10 item menu for flower, pre-rolled joints and cookies.
I'm updating this review because the business owner contacted me and told me about all the awesome upgrades they've done since my last visit. You have to give a business major props for listening to reviews and making changes accordingly.Upgrades to the store: Over 70 types of flowers, edibles, concentrates etc Prices high (yes pun!) and as low as $12 a gram (hellz yeah thats awesome!)next time I'm in Vancouver you can bet I'm stopping by!
Very impatient and unhelpful, which is the worst when you are buying your herb...I mean the original guy helping me was jumpy the whole time then asked if he could do something really quick and walked off and never came back and then someone else eventually asked me if I needed something. Plus, they sold me a product that smells of mildew (I know my mmj). All in all, an unpleasant experience that led to an even more unpleasant smoke, it was awful and not inexpensive either. I wouldn't even recommend this place to a trump supporter. If only the yelp gods had deigned to bestow upon us yelplings an option to rate negative stars, Id've hit that button too hard.
I'm not really sure why they do the whole buzzer thing while you wait for your order it's a little weird. Fine otherwise lots of products.
I can't believe I didn't update since my last few visits since the "incident of 2016", but we have had much better experiences at MMJ since that first long winded review. I feel bad for such a ROUGH review, but it was a ROUGH visit and not being able to talk to someone about it = my last review. I'm sorry Main Street. I really am. We all have had days. You, um, wanna hang out again sometime? *circle one* Today 04/04/17 I'm finally getting the update done! Casey & Emma are ROCK STARS! So, Adam messaged me soon after my last review and wanted to make it right. He immediately said he'd offer some new options when a customer was needing to reach a mgr. and that got us back in the door by the holidays. We knew we had the discount Adam offered us, but didn't feel rushed to use it. We got GREAT marijuana and we got it with GREAT customer service and no crazy drama door slamming or wiki budtender guy. Everyone made eye contact and was SO FRIENDLY. I didn't see the same slacker faces from the past few times and idk it felt fresh in there. Today, I went in to finally use my discount. Adam is a hard guy to meet up with. When I call the employees aren't able to tell me exactly when to show up but have offered me another person to speak with ;) I live in the 'burbs of Beaverton/ Aloha and it's a good hour drive to get to our stash up there at MMJ. Today I'm going for it. Beginning of the week, early afternoon and I was feeling lucky! When I walked in I asked the front door guy and he said he had no idea who was working and to ask the gal up front. That was Emma. She was SO DAMN nice. Respectful, her tone was pleasant and she didn't make me feel like an asshole for wanting my discount and admitting I wrote a bad Yelp review. Really professional and great eye contact. She was on it and I waited over on the side near the edibles. Then I heard it, the voice of knowledge. *insert angelic sounds here*I look over and see a very friendly, great smile, clear spoken, a knowledgeable young man talking about herb with another customer. I knew IMMEDIATELY that I wanted this guy as my budtender. I looked over and he saw me, said hello and said someone would be right with me. I said, "No. I want you. I'll wait." He was like, "Alright! No problem!" with a beaming smile. He got the goods for the other guy and was over asking about my afternoon in no time flat. I told him what I wanted and he knew exactly what I needed. Emma returned and they couldn't help me because no one could get a hold of Adam to confirm the discount and boy, I was sad again. Dang it, MMJ. Oh well. I'll come back and keep trying. A few moments later Emma comes back from the back and says, "Jaime! We CAN do it!!" I was so happy. Emma was happy! Casey was stoked! I looked over a few other budtenders were giggling with us. It was a kick-ass moment and ya know ... it takes a lot to get a shitty review from me, bc as a former business owner, a daughter of a business owner and a somewhat decent human being, I understand we all have shitty days and make mistakes, but customer service is where it's at, man. Today Main Street Marijuana won us back! Won our parents back with their new medical card, which got their new friends in the loop and we are glad we voiced some concerns and had a wonderful management team/owner that responded back. Adam was calm, collected, polite and really cared about our experience that evening {review} prior. Unlike some other biz others I've encountered after leaving a less than favorable review. Casey, seriously, I wish you well dude. You're going to go far! The customers were STOKED to see you! Your co-workers laughed and smiled with you, many seemed so happy you were back at that location. Good luck to you, bro. Great knowledge and that winning attitude, I'd like to know if you grow! ;) Hey, Main Street THANKS! SO.MUCH :) OneloveOneheart.
My sugarmuffins and myself trekked all the way from Portland to Vancouver so that we could make it to this establishment and celebrate the glory of legal marijuana. Having been a long time marijuana advocate, I was more than willing to withstand over an hour of a public transportation nightmare with some of the most, let's say special, people I have ever seen. Vancouver, you win the cake. It's like someone let out a genetic zoo in there.Anyhow, we finally made it to Main Street Marijuana. We walked inside. It was a Saturday afternoon and the place was relatively packed. The extremely douchy bro-hippie bro douche door guy checked my Oregon ID, looked at me, and said "I guess you're ok..." My honeyshcrumpets got nothing but an empty dumb look. We walked inside into what was a disorganized maze of tables packed with overpriced paraphernalia behind glass. The staff looked like a bunch of locals, and honestly, the only thing that distinguished the staff from the customers was that the staff was standing behind the counter. There wasn't any system for anything. The place was beyond overstaffed, but I didn't really understand what most of these people were doing. It felt like a hussle and bussle kind of operation, where people are taken in like cattle, walked through the loops, and then escorted out as quickly as possible. Finally, we see a paper menu on a counter. I'm no idiot, so I've already obviously read the menu on the website, but I still give it a glance. We are approached by at least three people while we look at the strains (not a bad selection, by the way, for what it's worth.) They asked us if we needed any help, but it felt like they were asking us if we could help them. We walked over to the glass area where on the side where you (as we learned) could look at samples and make orders. We looked at a few samples through the glass, but couldn't really tell anything by looking through the glass and the dense packaging. Anyhow, the buds looked ok. We made our order and paid the average looking woman, who did not wear a name tag or have a uniform, in cash. It felt wrong. This wasn't me giving money to some hippie chick who obviously knows what's going on, or to some dude in a uniform who feels like he's in a position of authority. This felt like I was buying weed from someone's mom. We paid, and they gave us a number to take to the back. We put our order in and an average dad looking old guy with a gray beard grabbed our number. We stood there for a bit, until he sheepishly reached out to us and gave us our number back... "Uhhh... sorry, you'll need that... I thought you already got your order... but you didn't, right? So you'll need this." I gave him my best Clint Eastwood stare and took the sign back. Some mom brought out the well packaged marijuana in a paper bag and handed it to us. We walked out past the douchebag door man. He never even looked in our direction. Now here's the kicker. THE POT IS CRAP. It's beyond crap. This could have been our own rookie mistake... but we never did think of asking how long ago the stuff we bought was harvested. I guess we simply expected premium marijuana, just like we would theoretically get on the street in, let's say, a place like Portland. This stuff was BEYOND DRY. There was no moisture to be found. After a lot of huh, hows, and whys, we looked closely at the packaging and my cutiesheberts noticed that the harvest date on one of them was in October! Here is the pot we bought and the harvest date. The high itself is okay, and I've enjoyed J's Famous Kush best, but the quality is just horrible. Beyond horrible. God awful. Here's what we got and the harvest date:Emerald Twist Hindu Kush - October 2014Dirty Girl - September 2014Soul Diesel - October 2014J's Famous Kush- November 2014We're in March, man. I understand that it needs to sit and chill for a while after harvest, but common... and by God, if the marijuana is of such low quality not because of the harvest date, but simply because it is that inadequate... then shame on you, Main Street, for selling this garbage. We spent $100 and are honestly disappointed by our purchase. TL;DR: LOW QUALITY DRY MARIJUANA AND VANCOUVER IS A WEIRD PLACE
Gosh, they used to be great! I drive up from Oregon City every couple of weeks. They have an online menu, and I rely on it to be accurate. I have been EXTREMELY disappointed my last 2 purchases. I am partial to a certain grower and have found them to be fairly consistent. The last time I purchased, the % on the bag was a lot lower than the listed % on their online menu cheat sheet. I wrote and the manager, Amy, answered and did offer me 50% off my next purchase, even though her email was not very apologetic. So today, my niece drove down from Vancouver and I asked her to stop by and I told her what I wanted. She brings it and the % on the bag is listed at 17.12%, while on the menu, it is listed at 25.08%. That is a huge difference!! Plus the bud is VERY dry and brown, not the green sticky I usually buy. I called and the guy was SO RUDE. I asked to speak to Amy or Steve. He said they were not there and refused to let me know when I could reach them. He said they "are busy and don't have time to be accurate and I could just f*cking go somewhere else." WOW! I have spent A LOT of money there. Nice to know in this over saturated genre that one's business is not appreciated. I will, in fact, be going SOMEPLACE ELSE.
Great selection. Non existent employee knowledge. Crap service period. Pay more someplace else and get better product and service. Guy didn't know what was Vape capable products. At the register, I was suggested to a certain cartridge. Black beards Honey oil, complete waste of money. Total lack of knowledge by employees. No exchanges on bad cartridges (bought 2 honey oil one seal was busted causing So the manager went above and beyond yesterday to fix the issue I had with a leaky cartridge, Big thanks to Ed who was very informative and a pleasure to work with. Def will be recommending them.
I came in again a couple weeks ago and was served by a different person. I had a great experience, and she was very friendly and helpful! I really wanted to give MSM another chance, and was happy to see that it really is dependant on the budtender! I wish I had gotten her name! Great job this time around, MSM!
I go here at least once a week and never had a bad experience. It's very busy, so it's good to at least have an idea what your looking for. They also post their daily menu on the website.
Good prices and good quality products, fast service and happy employees. Always happy with what I receive, could do a bit more trimming on some products, stems I don't like paying for.
My more recent visit with my husband in toe, went well. We were helped immediately even though the place was packed. Maybe cause we only bought small quantity. Prices are still fair.
No too shabby, high quality products with some of the lowest prices in the area. Only thing that would make these guys a 5 star is if I was able to pick out the product. Besides that everything else is great
Wonderful store, great location. Prices are lower or comparable with other local Rec MJ stores in WA.Great selection of flower and other products, budtenders are pleasant, informative, and attentive to customers. One time a staff member fired off a one-liner, basically a play on words on the name of the strain I purchased - it was hilarious and made a positive, lasting impression. The hours are steady and it's nice that they are open until 11pm daily. The store gets crowded in the evenings, this is probably the biggest downside ; however, they are expanding next door, so this may help open up the space. Sometimes there is a "spare change, man?" contingent that crops up on the corner and/or next door- this used to be a nicer corner though the security/id staff out front tend to keep riff raff generally low.
This is the first shop I had ever visited to legally purchase mj. I asked for some help and got some very good recommendations based off the things I talked to the bud tender about. I always use the same bud tender, the last 2 times I went in he was gone. And also noticed a lot of new staff faces. Perhaps they are moving their experienced staff to their new stores. I feel super comfortable here and people take time to show you plenty of options. My only complaint is that you don't carry anything from Phat Panda. I bought Blackberry Kush Vape cartridge from Ionic yesterday and it does not even touch the Blackberry Panda Pen as far as quality, flavor or potency. You guys gotta work out a deal with them. I am not a fan of the other shop I have to go to buy Phat Panda products.
Great customer service. Online ordering available which is really easy and they always have lots of brands and strains.
I'm disappointed. I was looking so forward to supporting legal pot. The ambiance of Main Street Marijuana is a mix between a low budget jewelry store and an airport security line. Cheap glass cases and an air of impatient and confused tension. Condescending and impatient staff with no understanding of retail. The whole interesting and mellow vibe of marijuana is completely lost on this place. If this is legalization, I'm for keeping it illegal. I thought it would be fun to buy expensive pot in a bag with brand name graphics, legally. But It wasn't the least bit fun. It felt kind of creepy with the fake 'have a nice day' style following the rush to take your money and get rid of you. I was glad to be out of there. Even the weed isn't that good. Nothing special. Very dry and old.The Pot Boom will produce lots of retailers trying their hand. I hope things are better once the low end establishments are weeded out.
Not a place for customers who are considered "demanding". I guess since the product is practically selling itself the customer service and product knowledge went from decent to horrible. Caution: know what you want, why, have your money ready and don't ask any questions. Bud tenders are impatient and easily agitated by questions. I was accused of being (and I quote) "demanding".
Ok, I was visiting Portland and I had a chance to check this place out. It is fascinating to walk in and buy marijuana legally. No Id is checked, you walk in and pick what kind of weed you are looking for. They have a good selection of bud to choose from. The down side is that the store can be a little confusing. The prices are high. Im guessing taxes and more taxes. Like I said, if you want a hassle free buying experience that's legal, you found it. I over paid by $15-20 bucks, but no one forced me to buy my medicine here. If you don't like the prices, don't shop here. I enjoyed my picks, I went for the top end stuff and it was nice. Service was good, the staff was friendly. Most of all this paves the road for the future of marijuana in the states. I'm glad was able to experience this first hand. It's was a cool experience. I can see a few kinks, but I think they will iron them out.
Store is extremely crowded. My friend was first in line and 3 others were helped before him. Staff wasnt very helpful. Not sure if ill be returning.
I love this place. Sometimes it's super busy, if you wait it settles down. I've never had a bad experience with these guys. Even if you have a faulty cartridge they will replace it i think the receipt says. They ALWAYS work with me. I ask a lot of questions and have never felt "rushed". I do suggest that you know what type of product you want to purchase. Flower, shatter, RSO, high CBD, tincture, keif, distillate (my favorite!) Etc.
Over price by a minimum of 50% I don't mind paying taxes but these guys are gouging for all its wort!h I say don't bother with them buy on the street. I like the pipes they give away sales people are snooty especially the women staff. . The MJ is so so at best. Its dry and burns fast and defiantly not worth the money. Now that Oregon has gone legal they will have to drop the prices. In the mean time I will trust the street guys alot more than the greedy capitalists.
This place gets crowded. During my visit, it was difficult getting around. Waits for staff was long. That said they had a huge selection. Stuff I didn't see anywhere else. Also the crowd was friendly. I had most of my questions answered by customers. The customers here were great.
Always great selection and pricing! Staff is accommodating and helpful. Place gets very busy! Parking can be hit and miss as this place is on the corner of Main by a lot of permitted residential parking, but it's a clean shop with a lot of product.
my first visit was rushed, loud, & made me very anxious. it was like visiting abercrombie & fitch, what with the loud music & all the yelling over the loud music.as i feel i was under duress to go back to this place because it has the lowest prices in the VANCOUVER area, i became a regular customer (sometimes spending more than $300/day--for myself & a neighbor that's home-bound) just like any retail store if the sales people don't like you, or you aren't their cup of tea, you will be ignored.there were several times, i purchased products that didn't weigh right & was only compensated the once. that was totally out of the employee's (owner, supervisor, i don't know) own pocket because the policy is no returns & all sales final even when the weight is so off that i can tell just by having the product in my hand. the representative told me that they cannot be held responsible for what they sell. isn't that the entire idea of selling? to sell good quality that weighs? this store does not put people before profits, & that makes me sad.main street marijuana is about getting your order & getting you out the door. when i call with a question, no one wants to take that call, or they're too busy to "deal with this right now" & never return a call.cumulatively, over the last year i have spent thousands of dollars at this establishment, & i would highly recommend going to 420 Holiday in Longview, WA, as THEY have the lowest prices that i have found, & andy, the owner, is VERY helpful & fun.
I love weed.... so imma just leave these 5 stars here. They've got a huge selection and they are generally really quick!
While the basic idea of this shop is awesome, the way it's operated by it's upper level management is a disrespectful joke. First off, the conservative backgrounds of the owners is kind of off putting considering that they are trying desperately to be part of the tribe while slinging drugs. "See that art on the wall? It's Bob Marley and Cheech and Chong. Stoners. Just like you. Just like all of us. Trust us." Yuck! The quality of product has slid consistently since August of 2016, good product replaced with cheaper, older harvest(check those dates kids). Apparently, treating employees fairly is another weak spot with management. Let's just say that management by remote camera doesn't really say "We care". Definitely a bit of homophobia in practice here with the token gay guy being talked down to in front of customers in a raised voice. That employee had just given excellent service and tactfully suggested me to buying better product. I've also seen customers 86'd from the store for asking questions about pesticides and herbicides that might be used on the products. That is shameful. It's like anybody can just sell pot these days. I remember when the pot dealer was something to aspire to, now the right seems to have taken up the tax scam aspect of it.
This is the place you go when you get tired of Portland's bs weed restrictions. You may have to deal with a little traffic here and there, depending the time you head out, but in the end you'll b glad you went. Recently they expanded the floor space and it's a thousand times better. Now you don't get that crowded feeling. They have a vast variety of flower, concentrates, edibles, pre-rolls, tinctures - everything you could hope and want. The budtenders are friendly and knowledgeable. The prices are all over the board depending on your budget. This is my go-to, when I'm not too lazy/stoned. Today I picked up a nice 1/2g CO2 cartridge from Harmony Farms of Seattlelite Kush, a balanced hybrid, at 92% (16% CBD). Three rips in and I already knew I'd made the right choice!
They have horrible weed. really bad atmosphere. Customer service is non existent. I will never be going back here again. I do not recommend anybody go in to this shop. especially with so many other great shops in the area. Just plain bad
wow...again! this is the kind of review i love! after posting a not so fabulous review....fair.... but not so good. it took only a few hours for adam to contact me (with his only agenda being my satisfaction)! he took my issues and proved to me that the biggest dog on the block was still concerned with a single customer! and the best thing of all...... he never even hinted that i change my review now that the issue was corrected beyond my satisfaction! this was a first! i reviewed aji tram restaurant in lk osswego and the only thing they cared about was removing the review! kudos to msm for giving a damn!
This is the first recreational marijuana place that I've ever visited. There was a decent crowd there for a Sunday afternoon. The store offers glass and other devices one would expect at a head shop. I thought the glass prices seemed reasonable. The staff seemed nice, friendly, and knowledgeable. On the other hand, the marijuana was down right expensive. In fact, it was too expensive for me to buy ($60/2 grams + sales tax = $65). They had 3 strains available when we were there.I understand the pricing issues have to do with supply and demand, at this time. I guess the state didn't license enough indoor growers. At least it is legal.
Not too shabby for my first visit to a public cannabis shop. The guy working the door was friendly and efficient. The product looked good though expensive, but I can understand the price increase due to the novelty of the shop. The budtenders were friendly. I'm sure we'll cruise through again in the future.
Great selection and prices, my only advice here - don't ask bud tenders for their pick... I asked my bud tender the other day to throw in a good indica pre roll for me, and he tried to pawn off the store's about to expire 2 YEAR old joint. Next time I'll pick my own. Other than that, great.
Each of these locations has a huge supply and selection. Budtender Steve went out of his way to help me as he always does much appreciated he never tried to talk me into something I don't want and if he doesn't know the answers to my questions he finds someone who does my only problem with this location is the smell of the customers I wish that you guys would start handing out bars or soap to give them a clue that they need a shower. Cannot beat the prices, something for everyone.
One of the only places that doesn't allow you to see/smell the final product before buying. Bought half an ounce for 70 bucks and they handed me the leafiest buds I've ever seen in my life..
Very disappointed.Called in to ask a question and the lady who answered was just so rude and even hung up on me.I used to like this place but I will not be back
My opinion might not carry seeing as this is the first legal marijuana store I've dealt with but I like Main St. Its pretty overwhelming when you first walk in, the lighting is quite bright, on busy nights it feels confined from how the displays are laid out and the ordering process took awhile for my brain to understand. But after figuring the place out it's pretty awesome, they have a large selection of different strains while they're working on getting more edibles and around the room there are some cool pipes to browse.I definitely recommend this place if you enjoy smoking and your pipe is empty.
Been coming here for 2 years. The prices are the best I've seen in Oregon/Washington. The only bad reviews you will see are people that don't understand how the cannabis industry works. For 29$ you can get a good 1/4 that's 20% THC. You can get 1g of dabs for 24$ that are 90+ %. CBD prices are the only thing kind of high here. But all in all they just painted their walls and you will have a happy stoner experience if you come to Main Street!
Mostly great service, but yesterday I got told off by a door person for my "terrible attitude" and it made me feel not welcome. Will be trying other stores in the area next time.
Update: Go buy dabs from Mase. I used to buy only regulator extracts but i wanted to go the terpene route he and hooked me up with some crazy terpene live resin. i got a good quantity for only $10 more than my usual MSM run. He's very knowledgeable and provided outstanding service. Update: I have since returned and just as expected received amazing service by Mary Jo! She's awesome and always teaches me something about the strain i'm buying at the time. She's helped me a bunch and is always great. Thank you for being so accessible, and communicating openly.i have been coming here once a week for over a year, spent thousands of dollars and have had phenomenal service every time. Customer service that rivals most any retail space i've ever been. Although, last night i had a not so great experience. I was coming in for my weekly 5 grams of Regulator Extracts, and I was helped by a bud tender that has helped me before and was very nice in the past. She started by insisting i look at the 4/20 deals, i wasn't interested but i politely let her show me. After she went through her pitch, i thanked her for showing me but that i wouldn't be interested at that time. She then insisted that i looked at the deals she just mentioned, I told her i already know i want Regulator Extracts. She then said "I hate Regulator Extracts you really need to see this other brand". I said "I'm sorry, i appreciate you showing me the deals but my girlfriend is standing outside because she forgot her ID and i don't really want to make her wait." It was very obvious the bud tender did not like what i had to say and immediately started pouting, didn't thank me for coming in or wished me a fond farewell like my usual experience. When i told another worker about my experience with that bud tender, she over heard and completely lost her composure, started raising her voice at me insinuating that i "snapped at [her] and almost made [her] cry". I've been working in customer service for over 8 years and i'm typically blown away at how great this spot operates but last night i was greatly disappointed with my visit. I will return because frankly you have some amazing people working there, people like Stone. He's always stoked to see me and never speaks negatively of the product you sell. Stone does good work.
Great product at great prices, but the customer service here is consistently shit. Whenever I make the drive up I tend to want to take my time and get everything I want, but every single time I feel like the tenders only want me to get in, give them my money, and get the fuck out. I feel pressured to hurry up when deciding what I want and often I leave spending less than I planned simply because I don't want to deal with a salesman who isn't interested in anything but making the sale. Questions asked are answered curtly without any interest in explanation and the general tone is rude and disinterested. There are some folks here who seem to be nice and generally interested in making the customer experience a quality one, but they're few and far between. I don't expect to see any change as they're raking in the cash and who gives a fuck about one guys opinion, but fair warning to newbies that this might not be the place for you.
Main Street is my favorite shop! I started going there when they first opened and it's awesome to see them grow so fast in such a short time. Most of the staff (there have been a few hit and miss employees. Maybe the crowd is just overwhelming for them) are amazing. The weed is good and the selection just keeps growing. Most definitely check out Main St. if you are in the area. Super sweet part of town that is making its come around!
Been to many other Vancouver stores and Main Street has the best selection AND price, by far! Also, they have an online menu that's updated daily and it really helps if you check ahead for availability of products (most good deals sell out fast)! Always have great service, even when packed!
Prices have really dropped the past couple months. Really fantastic deals and quality products! Staff is super friendly and always ready to answer questions and make suggestions. Parking can be a bit challenging on busy days but they're worth the couple of blocks walk plus there are other cool shops in the area to check out.
Lowest prices in the state! HUGE selection! If you're a fan, this place is worth the drive...
If there were 10 stars this place would have it!!! Excellent customer service layout is awesome it's very nice inside everyone is very happy and helpful along with the best prices in all of the northwest!!! I live in Bellevue and was traveling through and will defiantly be back!!
DISHONEST AND POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE. They sold me a non-functioning cape cartridge and refused to replace it even thought I'm a regular customer. Take your business elsewhere- there are other options that deal FAIRLY with their customers.
Will never walk into an establishment that treat people so rudely. I'm surprised there even still open. What's the point in ordering online. You don't get to see what your purchasing before they take your money. And the weed isn't that great! They won't let you give it back even if your in the establishment. I've never walked into a weed spot where people make you feel like shit for even asking a question. Main st sucks@
Best service. Best prices. Best selection. I absolutely love coming here even when I'm not buying but to be educated.
I went to Main St MJ for the first time and purchased 1/8 of bud, couple grams of wax, and a vape cartridge. The bud and wax were good, not fantastic but pretty average for the price. The problem came with the vape cartridge. The one I purchased had a defect where some sort of glue or rubber was protruding from the base and therefore would not make a good connection to the battery. Every time we tried to take a puff, there was no smoke-only a horrible burnt metal taste. We tried it on 3 different batteries and no luck. So I called the store and explained the problem, told them I had the receipt and packaging and asked if it would be possible to exchange it. The woman I spoke to said I could and to let them know I spoke to Kelsey and was told I could switch it out. So after driving across town, I get there only to be told a very different story. The guy I dealt with, whose name I didn't catch, tried every excuse he could think of as to how it was my fault instead of acknowledging the VISIBLE defect in the product. He said it was my battery (all 3 of them?). He said the bad taste was because it was a crappy, cheap vape cartridge (then why sell it?) and next time I should buy a different brand, and they weren't obligated to exchange it just because I didn't like the taste. I have to say, that one kind of offended me. He embarrassed me by pointing out the price, and insulted my intelligence as a person with taste buds and enough sense to know the difference between a crappy tasting vape flavor and what was clearly a burnt metallic taste due to a bad connection. Finally he said he would take it to the back to let them "test it". I'm not sure why that's something that needed to be done behind closed doors instead of by one of the many employees standing within 4 feet of us, as he already had it plugged into a battery. But -surprise, surprise- he brought it back saying it worked great for them and that if it tasted bad, it was just due to low quality. So if you're into stores that carry "low quality" products that don't work and condescending employees who don't honor the stated exchange policy, then boy is this the place for you!! But seeing as they lost a customer that drops a few hundred a month over a $15 vape cartridge, maybe they should reconsider their customer service. Additional note- I was originally greeted by a sweet blonde lady who looked genuinely apologetic that this guy was acting like such a tool. So to her, thank you!
Not sure I.get the negative reviews. Everyone was so nice and helpful. It was my first time buying in this manner so I was a bit nervous and nobody was intimidating or condescending to someone like me that doesn't know a lot. It's a bit overwhelming so they do a good job helping you decide on what is right for you. Very organized too! They did well managing a busy store. Thanks for the great experience....I'll be back!
By far the best dispensary in all of Portland and Vancouver. Hey have a HUGE selection with a wide variety of prices. Everyone who has helped me has been extremely friendly and knowledgeable and has given me great recommendations for my exact needs. I will make the trip from Portland to stock up because it's completely worth it!
So easy. It was my first time in such a store and I only vaguely knew what I was looking for. The clerk understood what I wanted and got it for me right away. I was in and out of there in 10 minutes- on a Saturday no less.
First time into an establishment that slung grass like it was craft beer. Staff was busy but made sure to accommodate patrons with ease. Updated on events, I made my selection with the help of a menu like list of different items the store had to offer. After enjoying my purchase (which was fairly priced) I reflected on how if we as a country jumped on this bandwagon, we might not be so uptight about everything, everyone ever says. So kudos to you Main Street, another happy customer served.
Always friendly service. This place is usually packed, so I suggest going during off-peak hours if you find that you will need more personal time with the tenders. They have a great selection of concentrates and edibles as well as high CBD content strains. Also, really great for high quality buds for affordable prices. I live closer to the high end market, but choose to go to main street because they are more affordable and the quality is top shelf.
It's everything you'd hope it would be. You've arrived to Zion. Mecca has been visited, the chickens have been plucked. Smile my good servants. The battle has been won. Wipe the mud from your face and bask in all that's good.
I gave it some time and came back in and wow! What a HUGE difference!! What I think people need to understand is that it is a NEW business. I didn't even realize how new it was until this last trip when I saw the logo~ it isn't going to be perfect in the first few years but it's deff. getting there. There prices have infact dropped and I have gotten all new product dated this year. Not only that the people that WERE there are no longer there so going in now is a simple pleasant task! And speedy! I'm usually in and out in about 5 minutes!! Which is so nice!! Give the owners a little more credit and work with it for awhile, check it out from time to time. The fact that they even care to listen to your concerns or complaints and actually DO something about it is amazing customer service right there!! Keep it up Guys!! :)
The weed and weed related products were just fine, decent selection and prices similar to most other places. Nothing great about the ambiance, but nothing horrible either. As a small business owner myself, terrible service is what will make or break a business for me, and terrible service here broke it for me. I was treated like THEY were doing me a favor by being there, the were openly hostile and were bad mouthing other local businesses (a HUGE no-no in my book). I will not be returning to a business that doesn't want mine and will spend my hard-earned money elsewhere from now on. I will advise my friends and associates to do the same.
CHECK YOUR PRODUCTS BEFORE YOU LEAVE. I've bought a tincture two times and both times it was a rip off. Especially this last time. It was less than halfway full. I didn't notice until I got to my car. I went inside to talk to them about it, and the person helping me gave me many conflicting reasons, including accusing me of using it outside. My boyfriend had also bought one that wasn't full and was unopened. They wouldn't replace them and could only give us bullshit reasons as to why it wouldn't be full. Super rip off. If you are going to buy from this place, make sure you check everything before you pay.I will note that this place is super reasonably priced and the employees, for the most part, seem helpful and nice. I think they just need better quality control for the products they sell.
I received very poor customer service, very rude staff. I was very polite and curious and they were so rude. Closed early and I will not be returning. There are many many other businesses that actually value thier customers. I was shocked at how rudely I was treated. Actually quite a disappointment
As with NewVansterdam, prices are 50-80% higher than recreational stores elsewhere in the state (including Kelso/Longview, which isn't that far away). Seems likely that they are intentionally making prices higher for Portland customers.
Finally made it to MSMJ. Bought some Thai stick, strawberry diesel, and a blue dream oil cartridge. The Thai stick was ridiculously dry and crumbly but okay otherwise. Hooked up the oil cartridge and hit it a few times. The next day the oil had leaked out rendering my pen and the cartridge useless. That's $80 down the drain. Sorry, no refunds. The worst part though was how sick I got after 3 days with the Strawberry Deisel. Barely made it through half a gram and wound up with some f-d up flu. Pretty much stopped my life for 4 days. I'll never go to one of these distributors again. Better to just grow your own. Who the hell knows where this stuff is produced and what kinds of chemicals are involved, pesticides, fertilizers, etc.
Love this place but some of the employees (Particularly the guys) are condescending jerks. I'm a regular here, have been since I turned 21. This is my go-to dispensary, not just because it's so close to me but because they have a big selection with some great deals. Also for the most part the staff is very nice, most of the time they are very friendly and helpful and patient and apologetic when they get something wrong. But a little more than sometimes I'll have an unpleasant experience with their employees. Yesterday I was helped by one of the guys who worked there, I won't name names but there are two tall young bearded white guys with dark brown hair who work there and he was the taller but less handsome of the two. I tried to order something from the clearance case that wasn't marked correctly (A semi-frequent mistake but one I can forgive) and it was loud in there so I couldn't here him when he said it wasn't actually on clearance. I didn't catch this until he gave me the total, to which he made a passive aggressive comment about how he said it wasn't several times (he said it wasn't once and very quietly). I apologized and changed my order, the whole time he had the body language of a pissed-off teenager who slams stuff around when he gets mad. And when a woman asked him right after what he thought the best deal in the clearance case was he further insulted me by saying nothing in the clearance case was worth her time (Like sorry I can't afford to pay 15 bucks a gram for my grass, bet you couldn't either without that big fat discount you get and if you could you shouldn't be working there). And to top it off when she asked what they had as far as two grams for 25 or under went (they have plenty of two gram packages for under 25 this was an easy question to answer) he responded with "have you ever been here before?" in an incredibly condescending tone. Look dude, I've worked retail and service all my life, I know we all have bad days and I know it sometimes translates over into our work days and that's cool, especially considering how you guys must deal with some big time weirdos and other difficult customers. But you don't get to make me or anyone else feel like that, especially working at a place that sells prerolls & discount grams to construction workers, it's a working class joint not a stuffy high end one. I've never had an experience like that with any of the women working there, even the super quiet short girl who always looks kinda mad has always been very helpful and patient with me and other customers. Get over yourself big boy.
I'm only giving 2 stars because the girl we spoke to on the way out was friendly. I took a friend in from Texas. We asked many questions to the yellow-toothed guy behind the counter. There were a total of 4 people inside so we were not distracting him from sales. We asked about single joints for sale. He told us he had none. Over in the counter to the right there were two. He sold the one and threw the other one in a drawer. I asked if he was going to sell us the one he just "hid." His reply was, make it quick, I'm not even supposed to ring anyone up on this register and he proceeded to act frustrated and pissy. Give me a break guy. Your job is customer service. Walk your lazy ass 9 more steps to the other register then and drop the attitude. Between the empty room, only two strains to choose from, the attitude from yellow mouth and Lurch the doorman, I'll be hard pressed to return. This is my second visit, I live less than a mile from this place but will travel the extra 5 minutes to Vancouver's "other" store. Lame guys. You could do so much better than this. You're not doing me a favor by selling me something, I'm doing you the favor by purchasing at your establishment.
After going back I have gotten used to the flow of people (TONS OF PEOPLE). If you don't like finding the marijuana on paper before buying it (almost like a library resource with their book finding systems) they have a paper with all the weed % and names/brands as well as vapes/edibles/etc. This place is awesome price wise but there is just too many people and you can not smell any of their product, and you do not get to choose your bud like at most shops they let you choose a few bags to choose from so you get some decent stuff.. this place does not do that.I guess the positive is the cheaper prices, the cons are too many people, feeling rushed because of how many people there are, bad for someone who likes to take a lot of time, not very good for people who want to be able to choose their own bag out of a few diff ones, and uhhh yea other then that they have good products at low prices. So basically good stuff and low prices trumps most of the other concerns.. so i re-reviewed this with a better review. thanks
Came up to Washington to check out the legal herb scene. Stopped into this spot and had a great experience. Love this place and their amazing selection. Def will be back the next time I'm up there.
Sorry to conflict with all the bitter bettys below but this place has always been a great place to swing buy and pick up some herb and today was no different. I don't get all the bellyaching below. Too few strains? Then how come each time I walk in there are sheets upon sheets stapled together with nothing but different strains with all the pertinent info? I must've counted 30 to 40 strains today alone, and that's not counting other things like concentrates/oils, etc. Price is too high? Blame WA state, not a small business just trying to survive. I saw on MSM's website that now all bud was 20/gram or less, and when I showed up that was exactly the case, a totally reasonable price for quality buds. Price is still too high? Guess who's not at fault for that? MSM, and every other shop. Blame the state and the growers. Coming on here and giving a small business a bad rating over something they can't control is wack. The complaints about quality are the most suspect of all. I think this is a classic case of pretending black market is better just because it's black market and not state regulated. I've been smoking for nearly 20 years and if this isn't up to your standards then stick to dabs. The OG Presidential Kush this place sold me put me into a catatonic stupor for nearly 6 hours. But the main reason I wanted to come home today and post a good review is the staff, who I find is always more than courteous, nice, helpful and not at all rude or standoff-ish. Maybe I'm just used to crummy Portland customer service, but the people who work at this shop are a delight to talk to and one of the main reasons I haven't bothered to venture out to other shops in the area.
Horrible. I went in there one time and I'll never go back. 'Member when weed wasn't legal and you had that back up dealer who sucked? Said he'd meet you in an hour and a day later you still hadn't seen him, always with excuses with prices all over the map. You kept his number as a fall back but he was never your main or even secondary guy. Flakey and obnoxious. We'll that jackass is all grown up and that's these fuckn idiots. No one could explain why the door man had to touch me, and the person helping me abruptly walked off to get something and didn't come back for 5 mins. Then you wait, indefinitely after you pay to get your shit. I demanded my money back and they seemed stumped by that. This place sucks, the people suck. The prices are ok, the variety is Ok, but the people suck so bad and parking is hard to find you'd be better off going somewhere else.
I LOVE this place. Not just because of the fabulous products, but more so because of the amazing staff! Super friendly, informative and fast. Sometimes I'll wait a few mins to get to place my order but that's because they are usually really busy. Even then I haven't ever waited more than 3-5 minutes...usually I can get immediate service, though. It's a simple store, nothing fancy, but always a great experience. I have and will continue to go back..maybe even weekly. Just saying :)
This is by far the worst dispensary around. Based on the conversation I had with the owner he is not capable of running this establishment. One bad decision after another. Arguing with customers..picking fights with patients.. Overcharging people and blaming it on your vendors even though I've seen the same products that other dispensaries for much much less. Shame on you! You don't carry what customers want, and when they confront you about it you have an attitude like you were doing them a favor by not caring because you did not want to pay with the vendors were asking. I don't know what gives you the right to decide how much I want to spend but that is not up to you. Your job is to stock variety and let us decide how much we want to spend. FAIL
I am from out of state, was passing by and I wanted some great bud at a reasonable price. I also wanted the experience of legally purchasing a product that has been illegal for nearly a century. I walked in was greeted and I provided the doorman with my drivers license, to insure the doorman that I was of legal age. An employee asked me if I had any questions I told her what I wanted and I was giving a number and I paid my bill. It was a short wait, shorter than waiting for the pharmacist at a pharmacy. The stuff is great the price was great, same as the site, was current. Great store. The website is great, I figured out what I wanted prior to arriving at the establishment.
I was very pleased when I walked into this shop. They have a very wide selection to choose from and the even though they are always busy there is always somebody available to help me out and they are always super friendly. I don't partake very often but when I do I want high quality and these guys are very knowledgeable and have always made great recommendations for me. The prices have gone down a lot too, I have been to the other shop in Vancouver but I always seem to get a better deal when I come here. I definitely would recommend this place to anyone looking for the best selection and highest quality. They also have edibles and a huge selection of top quality glass pieces :)
great service, super friendly, prices are high but on parity with the other overpriced shops in town. My first choice among a growing field.
Poor customer service. I was substituted a far weaker strain than what I ordered. They asked if that was OK and I said "no. what else can I do?" The clerk said I could get my money back. I wanted a strain that was a close match to what I ordered even if it cost them $5 more. The manager said "no." Too many problems here. THC content on the package is often less than advertised on the menu. Menu isn't updated in a timely manner. Some of the staff are quite passive-aggressively rude. I won't go back. New Vansterdam is far better and only a little more expensive. October 1st can't come fast enough for this Oregonian. Hopefully it puts this poor excuse for a sketchy cash grab out of business.
I had a good experience here. Being my first time in a dispensary out side of california it felt a little impersonal. I ordered some medicine and unfortunately it seemed as though the lad helping me out wasn't very versed in buying what I needed for anxiety... Just sort of made me feel like, "hello not everyone smokes pot just to get High as shit", anyway I recognized some of the names and just hoped that the strains were the same. Thankfully afghan diesel was the same low thc and helped with my social anxieties. I also bought a small pipe and lighter which I received first and than was given a number, very new concept to me, I also never smelled, touched, or saw the marijuana. It was pre-packed which kind of sucked but it was still "good stuff"I received the marijuana through another staff member. I was holding on to the pipe and lighter I bought and when I asked if I could also put those items in the same bag, I was asked to pay for it. Whoa I already did and no offense but this shitty little pipe was pretty costly for something pot shops would give away for free in sfv. Thankfully the guy believed me and I remember the budtenders name but come on maybe you guys should give receipts or communicate more, as a customer it doesn't feel right to be asked to pay for something again and than feel like I have to defend my purchase. But overall I got what I needed it was fairly quick and the product is dam good.
Better than New Vansterdam, thats for damn sure! I buy my flower privately, but I get my wax from Main Street. Cool staff, good product, good prices.
I was in downtown portland walking around, it was my brother's birthday and decided to stop by to get me something, since I was a bit dehydrated and feeling out of it. I had to walk a mile and when I got there, everyone was pretty helpful. I was likely rambling as I was even more dehydrated and didn't get enough sleep (or have any other kind of natural medicine that would have helped :P). It was a bit small compared to some of the other pot shops but was in and out of there in about 15 minutes at very most. Talked to someone about edibles because I had started to make them recently and some marijuana strains (I'm fairly new to weed, etc.). The edibles were a bit spendy but from what I've seen main street marijuana has the best deals in the area. Next time I am in the area and have some money, I will definitely stop by again.
I usually am happy with my purchases here, until yesterday. I bought some 1 gram prerolls. Here's a picture of the incredible discrepancy between what different vendors consider a gram preroll. I was told that the super silver haze prerolls I wanted (from 420 Naturals) had "holes", but I wanted the strain so I got them anyway thinking I would reroll or pipe them. Maybe he meant holes in the integrity of the vendor. That said, I think they should hold their vendors to particular standards and not let customers bear the brunt when Main Street makes bad purchases from their vendors. Seems like they knew this product was below par and should have offered a discount. Holes I can deal with, but one can clearly see a major size/weight difference here.
the selection here is great! The prices are pretty good too, better than most of the places I've been to at least. The employees are really nice and friendly. The negatives for me; the people. There are so many people here at any given time, though the employees seem to be on top of that helping people as quickly as possible. The issue for me is the last couple times I've bought here...my bags have been underweight. Some times up to .6 when I get bigger bags. Make sure to do diligence and weigh it when you get home
Parking is terrible, you can stand there waiting like you are invisible, and no ambiance.
CHECK YOUR ORDER! They gave me a different (and less potent) strain than what I paid for. Didn't notice till I got home. Legal weed in Oregon will take away 80% of thier business and rightfully so. This place has gotten away with massively overcharging for way too long.
This is the place to go in Vancouver. The prices are the lowest in town and the quality of the varietys I have sampled are excellant. I can get an oz between 120-150 that is primo, Even on the streets right now the lowest is 180, The price here is why the law was made to keep it off the streets. Please don't raise the prices!!
Bait and Switch!!!!Management Says "Double check what you get from us"I 'used to' spend 60 to 80 bucks 2 to 3 times a week at main street. They opened with Great prices and OK service....Now they are at if not more then the other shops in the area but way under par with service.... Make sure you have your ID "unless you are one of the workers friends and he will sell you what ever you want...." So I went in the other day and got two different 1/8th. Both where way under the percentage the Menu said... I used to never check, I figured with the WSLC being so strict if they said this is the amount you are getting that what you got... NOT here at main street pay more for a higher THC and you MIGHT get what you paid for, I did not. I only checked the last two I got and both where under what I was buying..... So I did the right thing and called and spoke to management.... After calling 3 stores I found a manager and he informed me it was MY fault for not double checking what I ordered?I informed him I felt I was being BAIT and SWITCHED and asked him his name because I was going to call liqueur board and he hung up on me........ So at this point I tell everyone I know to stay away from this place, but everyone is already feed up of them and this place....So I went to write some reviews and LATE again everyone is already saying the same things I am...........SO STEAR CLEAR OF THIS PIT... Unless you want so girl that just started smoking tell you that you don't know anything.....
Reasonable prices on edibles (and an edibles discount on Mondays!), and in general reasonable prices, though still more expensive for the oil cartridges than in Portland. We did like our budtender, but he did not fill our order, but took payment and then went to help someone else. The young woman who filled our order was curt - and one of the cartridges we ordered was incorrect and can now not be returned. We ordered Pineapple Kush, and even made sure that our budtender wrote down the correct number for the oil, but we received Double Delicious Pineapple (with totally different THC and CBD values) - a far cry from what we ordered. Also, they really don't have any full gram size cartridges at all, which I prefer to the half gram. Lastly, there was someone loitering who felt sketchy and was trying to get our attention upon leaving, and this was a bad feeling like when you're at the ATM and someone is hanging over you. Overall, for the value I would go back but make sure on every item that they give you what you ordered (though they won't give you time to go over it as they're handing it off to you - be insistent that they do!), because at $30 for a half gram, it is really messed up to get the wrong thing.
40 for 2 grams seems pricey, but excellent selection and very quick service. It was the only store that was busy downtown, which goes to show where the economy is growing
I've been here four times now, twice they were out of stock and to be fair that was in the first week or so that they opened. The first time I could purchase one strain in 1 gram containers for $30. The second time there was a larger selection and variety of sizes but still about $25/gm. Let's hope this isn't the new reality and that the prices come back to reality soon.
Not bad but how can you be competitive against Oregon. Seems impossible since there will be no sales tax or state tax . Best of luck !
There are currently 2 retail stores in Vancouver, and this is written in comparison to New Vansterdam (NV). If you are going to buy retail, there is no comparison. Main Street is it. Prices- 8/10. Main Street prices are 50% OR LESS THAN that of New V. I don't care about the excuses over at NV, somehow with many of the same growers and all, this store kills their prices. At this point they have nothing that costs over $20 a gram. NV currently has nothing under a $30 purchase unless you're looking for the lower potency stuff. Even still, the low potency stuff here is cheaper.Product- 10/10- I didn't feel priced into a pre-roll (which I believe wicks the moisture from the product), a strain with low potency or one that did not have the effects that I wanted. The results were incomparable when it came down to using the product. Door check- 10/10. Simple and casual, no locking you up in a separate room for no good reason like NV. Product placement- 9/10. It was under the glass counter. The list has the menu with the strain info (as do the packages if you can read them), but there's something about being able to see it that is refreshing. They could have had fresh samples for smelling (samples were dried up and useless mostly), but if that would raise prices due to the waste, forget it. in comparison, NV has their product on ipads, which were for some reason cell-reception slow and giving me error messages all the time. Customer service- 9/10. This was also heads and tails above NV. It was much easier to talk with someone, and they were very approachable. The sales people weren't super specific in their knowledge, but they had at least personal experience with most of the products. I could check out with the same person I was talking with about the product. They did have a kind of funky checkout, where I had to circle my order from a list, pay and wait for my name to be called. It seemed as though it could cause unnecessary complications, but I had no problems, so no real complaints. I want to add that I was assured that I could bring the product back if it was unopened. This was a major point of contention at NV, as they sold me a product labeled at a much lower potency than what they had advertised and refused to take it back, despite it being unopened and them recognizing their error.Negatives- It is a cash only operation and they are still well above the med/black market prices. These are the reasons they don't get a 5 star rating. Not their fault, but it still affects the overall experience. Summary- The sweetness and potency I got here at Main Street MJ was a completely different world. Literally, that's where it took me. If you buy retail and you are in the Vancouver area there is no comparison. Go here or bust. Beware that Main Street closes (7) an hour earlier than NV(8), so be sure to get there before 7:00 PM.
Cornelius's review about sums it and I 100% agree this place feels shady. Never in my life have a felt so weird and guilty over a purchase like this. For a product that is supposed to be "legal" this place sure makes it feel illegal. Somehow I was made to feel like a criminal in this store, and I felt imperative that I inform other customers like me to take their money elsewhere. I felt relieved to have read Cornelious's review/experience because it was nearly just like mine, down to the T, expect what is not mentioned is that they do not give you a receipt. With most legal goods, a receipt is given as proof of purchase and also informs customers of the stores return policies. As Cornelious's mentions, this so called system they have is the part that makes the whole exchange feel like buying drugs on the street. You give them money, they walk off, someone else returns with your "goods" and sends you on your way with out asking to give you a receipt. This is exactly how you buy drugs on the street folks. That is why it made me feel so sick about my experience. And that is why when I came back 20 minutes later to return the goods I just purchased. Guess what? They were not that nice when I came back to return my purchased items. I gave them the unopened bag of herb that I had just bought. The man took my recently purchased herb and seemed like he was going to try to get my money back for me. He hands it to some people behind a tiny window where all the herb is kept and examined it like it was counterfeit or suspect. I don't know, I'm not a professional hustler like these folks. The guy comes back and tells me he can't give me my money back, which was weird because it sounded like I would get my money back as he initially said. They said they would give me store credit, but that was the point. I returned the goods because of an unusually poor customer service experience. I don't want to be spending my money in here. I asked to see a manager of course. A man came out, I'm not sure he was a manager, he never identified himself. I told him about my situation. He listened and said he could only offer me an in store credit. He the went on to say that it was criminal that I was bringing the marijuana back in the store. YES! THAT'S RIGHT, HE CALLED ME A CRIMINAL FOR TRYING TO RETURN MY GOODS! He went on to say, I should understand because I "wouldn't go to a liquor store and try to return the beer I had purchased". Obviously this is not true, one can return unopened beer at a liquor store. I felt intimidated and manipulated by these men and of course did not get my money back.Save your money folks and invest it in many of Washington's helpful recreational marijuana shops. High End Market it just down the street. They're, nice, organized, helpful and they actually let you smell the herb! How novel? And the herb is SOOOO much better... And most importantly they won't make you feel like a criminal. Happy herb hunting!
This was a terrible experienced topped off by getting ripped off (even worse than they claimed to be). I was just there on a Sunday afternoon, there were very few people in the store, but all the cashiers were busy, one of the cashiers was talking about traveling and the weather, even as much as public transportation in various cities around the country, but she couldn't be bothered to help a paying customer. When I finally did get the attention of a different cashier she was very nice and the transaction was quick since I knew what I wanted. Well I get home and decide to weight it out just to see, my "2 gram" bag is actually only 1.7 grams. Now I know you might lose some weight from drying out, but this is in a sealed bag that shouldn't let any air in to dry out the herb. It seems like the bag is sealed by the producer and not Main Street Marijuana themselves, but this is ridiculous, coming from California my medical club would always give a little extra, not a little less. I could deal with this if it wasn't ridiculously expensive, but its absolutely unacceptable to get short changed by this much. I will not be returning and I advise you not to either. This is not the path to being perceived as a legitimate business, its acting like a street dealer.
Unfortunately, I have to join the group of yelpers that have had a bad experience at an establishment and needs to vent their frustrations. (Thank you Yelp!) So when I arrived this morning, (a little after 8am) there was no one checking ids at the front door and in that case, usually there is someone present when you walk in to check your id. When I walked in I saw just 3 employees helping customers and 3 people with their backs to the door, so I figured that when an employee became available that they would check my id. Instead as I'm walking over to a menu I hear "Hey! Girl!" (FYI: men and women please refer to people that you don't know as Sir,Miss or Ma'am; it's incredibly rude not to!) and some more shouting over the normal voices in the store. Mind you, if you've ever been to this place you will know that the acoustics aren't that great. Anyway an employee with a bald head and grey hoodie gestured me over, barely made eye contact with me as he continued to talk and take someone else's order. When I tell him that I didn't see him, he laughs and says "I guess I'm invisible then!" I took his words as a snarky remark. I have worked in customer service so I completely understand that everyone is not going to be in the best of moods, but when you're providing a service in exchange for money to pay your bills you HAVE to be respectful. On top of that every customer that left before me received a "Thank you for coming" from this employee, but not me. (I know because he made it a point to say it to people before they left) Albeit, he did make a remark that there were only 4 employees working at this particular time, that's no excuse to not pay attention to customers walking in that need their ids checked; multitasking is fundamental. I don't care if they have the "cheapest prices or deals" (seems like they're turning into a discount store at this point), this experience has turned me completely off and I won't spend my hard earned money here anymore.
This place is always busy! Lots of products to choose from with multiple strains from each farmer. The customer service is outstanding because each bud tender will share their experiences and make suggestions. Also, they review your order and make sure you are satisfied before you leave.
Had a terrible experience here. I use high cbd strains for pain and anxiety and bought a certain strain to help with that. Unfortunately they gave me a insanely high thc strain instead(I am very prone to extreme paranoia when smoking high thc marijuana). I got home to roll a joint and try out this new strain and realized that they had given me the wrong strain. So i waited in traffic to drive back up and see if I could get the strain I had paid for. They actually expected me to pay again for the strain that i had originally ordered and wouldn't let me trade for what i had originally paid for. I lost 30 bucks for THEIR mistake. For a business that is obviously making money, the fact they wouldn't eat the cost of THEIR mistake was B.S. For people who use marijuana medicinally it seems pretty dangerous to be giving people stuff that will actually make their conditions worse. I will NEVER come here again after this experience nor will i direct my friends here. Try New Vansterdam, the selection is better and at least they pay attention to what you order.
Prices way to high . No business sense. Terrible service. They act like they are doing you a favor. Wait till Oregon sells next year or go any where else in Washington and pay 1/2 the price.
It was my first time buying legal weed and it was a pretty good experience. The young lady who helped us was great. The entire staff seemed nice and were friendly. I bought a few grams and a few joints. The weed we picked out was ok. Nothing special , except for the Dutch Treat that the employee told us was her new favorite. The Farmer Js Joints we got were absolutely disgusting. The obviously use old bud, shake and maybe even some trim in the prerolled joints. All in all it was a good experience. Prices were not that bad either. We got 5g ($20 each) and two 1g joints ($12 each) definitely stop guy and see them if you're in Vancouver!
First timer, overall I liked the place. Easy going and relaxed atmosphere and the people working there were nice. A little empty feeling; needs some more artwork, and tone down the fluorescent lighting. Was there any background music?? Looking forward to seeing edibles soon.
After visiting Main Street I am absolutely sick to my stomach by how these people can sleep at night the way they rip people off. Most all off there products are sub par outdoor grown marijuana. I was actually really surprised at how bad they're cannabis was. As I walked in I was greeted by a very friendly female. I asked her about her cbd strains. She said she had two and proceeded to show them to me. She showed me a package of 5 grams of Shake for $55. The product she showed me was stuff I would typically give or throw away. After i passed on the shake I asked about concentrates. She showed me what they had to offer and since I made the trip there and I sure wasn't going to purchase the WAY over priced shake I purchased some oil. After I exchanged $55 for a minuscule amount of oil I proceeded to my car. She claimed that I could take 150 vape hits per cartridge of the oil. I got home and was ready to medicate. After roughly 10 hits I started to feel some minor relief. I looked at the package and realized it was only 46.25%( extremely low for oil). I took another 20 or so hits through the night and my cartridge was gone. I was and am very dissatisfied with my over all experience there. Yes WA state takes roughly 25% tax but they are not interested in providing the public with a quality product they just want to get rich. Wait til July 1st when it's legal in Oregon. If they do not change they're business practices they will surely go under.
Love this place! My first experience going into a retail store and I'll definitely be back! Service was great, the staff were knowledgeable and it was awesome to see all the quality buds they had. Very convenient right off the freeway too!
I left a poor review back in May and I just know got a message from the owner threatening me and said they filed a lawsuit for the review which obviously never happened. The reply I got was extrememly vial. The person who wrote the message goes by the fake name "Reid E.". They are too ashamed and scared to use their real name.
Staff is unwhelming in knowledge of product and customer service. Just a mess once you get in. No one knows who first or already been helped. Just the weirdest pot shop Ive ever been in.
This may be my 15th review on cannabis shops.. as I've stated many times before, the only way to get a bad review this with bad service. What should have taken 3 minutes took about 25. The ordering system is set up so a budtender has to find you and then write down your order, then turn it in to someone behind a wall that then gets your order. They give you this restaurant buzzer that buzzes when it's your turn to go up and pay. The whole thing to me could be avoided. A very good selection of flower and anything else you might need. But expect to waste some time standing around waiting for your number to be called.
I love you guys, but you need to pick ONE!Either List the actual THC content, or call it what it is, the total cannabinoids. But listing it as the THC percentage using the total cannabinoids percent makes it really hard to shop at your store. -(I don't think your employees appreciate it either- having to flip over every single package to show me the actual THC percent)
I didn't go to this store for its services, but I did witness an altercation that occurred today on its premises while at a local tattoo parlor. The altercation was handled with what can only be described as "stern classiness," despite the person causing it not calming down in the slightest. Also, I later saw their security guard walking up and down the streets picking up trash. I don't partake, but if I did, this is where I would buy my product, the business owners and employees really respect this community!
Always greeted with a smile and how are you doing today! Staff is very nice and helpful.. I have a few favorites there.
Unfortunately I have to leave another review because I don't appreciate being bullied (especially me being a cancer patient) by whoever's in charge of the main street yelp review. Completely unnecessary and if you really wanted to fix your customer service base you would reach out and make it better instead of insulting your customers with your bratty remarks. Very unprofessional and you need to learn how to run a business if you're going to talk to prior customers like that because that doesn't work
I went in looking for a CBD gummy, yes I know there is THC in most gummies but I was looking for a 10:1. CBD:THC. I came home with a 10:1 THC:CBD and one with no CBD. I have no receipt so I cannot return it and i cannot use it. Super frustrating!
This place is a joke! Terrible products! terrible customer service, they take no responsibility in the products they sell, everything is sealed it's a guess and check system. You are better off to go and buy from a dealer on the street. At least they'll give you a refund and you get to see your product and deal with more friendly people. They sell cheap Chinese glass and Mark it up has something special. Everybody in there is fake. And overpaid. This is the Walmart in Kmart of the cannabis industry. they think they own the parking on the street and everywhere around . Only went here when they were the only shop now I'll go anywhere else! don't give these people your money rob from the poor Growers make themselves rich! Go to craft or any other place. PS I've been in the Cannabis industry for 25 years
They say Disneyland but this is ReALly the happiest place on earth with the best prices and best selection And best salespeople ever
Went in to get some indica sugar wax. I was promised a gram for $20. After waiting 25 minutes I was missing a quarter of a gram. When questioned, I was told that I didn't know what I was talking about. Pulled out the scale, which read 0.75g. Are you guys for real? First time at your store and very definitely the last.
Every time I go to main st I leave happy and ready to smoke some weed. These guys are quick and very helpful. Charlie did a great job of making sure I got taken care of. From the moment he checked my id at the door to the moment he was ringing me up, Charlie made sure I had the customer experience that main st intended for us to have. 10/10 would recommend
Went down here and had the best customer experience I have ever had! I was a dollar short and didn’t want to have to hit the ATM and I got so lucky to have the pleasure of dealing with RAF who in my opinion is the best employee I have ever seen. He proceeded to take a dollar out of his pocket just so I didn’t have to hit the ATM or walk back to my car. What a cool guy so knowledgeable about all products and really made my day. Cheers RAF I hope your owner sees this. You truly made a difference in my day.
It's always busy because they have a great selection and a knowledgeable staff. The best prices and I really like the online ordering. It makes life easy if your in a hurry. You place a order and pick it up behind the building.
*Post edit* To the owners- It's even funny how rude your replies back on here are. I don't associate with your ex employee, who is also not my brother. That's not what I am referring to at ALL, but you did give me a good laugh - Think about your actions, not his Will not be giving my money to this business any longer- shady owners, shady operations, and the company does not respect their employees, let alone treat them like humans. Definitely something I've known for too long to have not said or done anything about. Good luck, but I'd take my money to somewhere with better deals, better bud, and better morals.
