I simply based the one star in the fact that it's suppose to be open till 11pm! It's a lie! 9:05pm and they're closed!
I am a regular . Love the management and workers . If anything unfair or mistake happens they are the quick and pro to adjust to positive customer service. Great product and great community members. Love my Herbert next door. Keep up the good work all you hard workers
This dispensary is taking huge steps to make people feel welcome, safe and clean here. Every time I go the front door person is super friendly they check your ID and then wipe it down with sanitizer. You literally touch nothing but your own items in your purse or wallet and the product you receive from them because they get the door for you on the way out! I really appreciate this it seems like you guys take care of your employees and customers and are being responsible during this time. Prices are fair and there is a huge selection, well staffed, and even though they can get busy service is efficient always.

I'd like to update my previous review and report that the staff at The Herbery Chkalov has been very helpful in addressing the concerns I posted on 12.13.19. I haven't returned to the location again yet, but I am impressed with the follow up I have received, and their interest in improving the overall customer service at this location.
Poor service at the Chakalov location. The tall red headed guy with the belly really couldn't be bothered to wait on me. I will not go there again. Try the St John's location they are always friendly and helpful.
OMG! Do not go here. TOTAL ripoff. $75 for a qtr when I found the SAME downtown for $30. - I told them and they chuckled. I really thought the getting burned days were over.. guess not
They conduct business as usual. No complaints outside the fact that once a customer bought out their edible drinks I like, but that's the point right?
The workers here are super helpful, and the store is very clean and professional looking. The bud tenders know their stuff, and they accept CanPay, which is super helpful and saves you ATM fees. One of the higher quality herb shops in the area to be sure!
The Herbery is the first dispensary I found after moving to Washington and it's still my favorite. The first time I came in, and each time since, I was excitedly welcomed and everyone was super friendly. Every budtender I've worked with at The Herbery has been knowledgeable, friendly, and amazingly helpful. Each visit is a fantastic experience.
This place is great, full of friendly, knowledgable staff. I've never come in and had anyone be snappy or short, even if the place is packed. David is an absolute gem, very funny and quick with the information and customer service. There are closer shops to my workplace and home, but I will go out of my way to go to an Herbery location based on customer service alone (also, their edible selection is great, in my experience). I'm really surprised to see any negative reviews on here, I can't comment on their experience but I've been in dozens of times and only had positive or at least quick interactions- it's like walking in to the Nordstrom's of dispensaries.
I'm really surprised that there are two good reviews here. This place is gorgeous, but had the most abysmal employees I have ever met. The lack of customer service was seriously shocking. When we were approaching the door, the security guy was just staring at us through the glass, to the point that we felt uncomfortable. I thought he would smile once the doop opened, but nope. The girl behind the counter was completely apathetic, and was firing off short, clipped answers to our questions, like it was annoying the hell out of her to have to DO HER JOB. We planned on purchasing a good amount of product there, but it was so quickly obvious that they felt like we were intruding that we left. I'm warning everyone about this place. There are a lot of dispensaries in town, do yourself a favor and choose one of them that are actually happy you're there. Seriously. ANY other dispensary than this place. One star because I had to, they definitely don't deserve it.
I was impressed with how knowledgeable the staff was about every product. There is a pretty decent variety of edibles and oils. Prices are very good as well. The peach gummie edibles were very good, or so I heard.
Everyone who works here including the doorman is super kind. They also have a great selection and will help you find whatever it is you need.
I say best service here.the guy that help me out as much as give me 5 bucks to get what want . Peace to the world
This place is OK. I've been getting pre rolls here for a awhile but I wouldn't get a vape cartridge from here. I had to take my cartridge back (with receipt in hand) because it wasn't hitting from my charger the way it should so the "manager" lady takes my cartridge in the back to test it out and of course it's working just fine FOR HER but she proceeds to tell me that I just need to pull this certain piece out with my FINGERNAIL just so it can touch the battery enough to hit just right and to not tighten the cartridge so tight into the battery. When she had me try it I could literally see a gap between the cartridge itself and the battery. She then proceeds to tell me to keep it on the red setting because it's a thicker oil. This has never been an issue for me before so I then realized that this woman is going to pull any excuse out of her butt just to make me go away. I'm sorry, but if I need to go through all that trouble just to use my cartridge it's obviously defected and I should either get my money back or get a new cartridge that does what it's meant to. I've gotten my cartridges from other pot shops and have never had issues or was blatantly lied to just for a freaking sale. For $40 a gram for a cartridge that is obviously faulty, I'm beyond aggravated. I don't care for my money back, and I get you're trying to make a sale but at the cost of a loyal customer who only wants a WORKING CARTRIDGE, I for sure will not be returning to this store. Horrible customer service and the staff is not knowledgeable whatsoever about their products. Just trying to make a sale. Don't go here! High 5 is way better at customer service and actually cares about the overall happiness of their customers. I only went here because it was right down the street from my work but after this pathetic experience, the herbery is a big joke.Response to Mr. Jim - No I do not care to apologize especially when a business is okay with selling faulty cartridges considering this isn't the only time it's happened with your customers. I stand by what I said as you stand by your faulty cartridges. Don't like bad reviews? Don't sell faulty products. If it's just an "easy adjustment" why do I still have the janky cartridge you guys sold me filled with product?! Because I have to adjust it before every use? Like I said, big fat joke. And you guys have the audacity to ask me for an apology? That's rich. And no thanks!Honestly, I wouldn't be surprised if you payed people to give you 5 star reviews seeing as how you like to do "faulty business."
I have been here several occasions but now they don't take vertical ID. Despite it being legal by the state and everywhere else I have used it for the last 4 years. Now I will no longer go to the neighborhood greenery because they won't take my valid state ID. Too bad they won't invest in a scanner to invest in their costumers. Don't waste time swinging by here
Poor service. Un-knowledgeable associates. Definitely the amateur crew when compared to the other Herbery locations in the area. Not impressed the stupid girl working the register asked to see my ID a second time then proceeded to tell me it's because I look like a minor... I'm 28... If your policy is to card anyone who looks under 40 twice then card everyone a second time instead of singling people out.
This used to be my go to place, and one day the door guy was a total prick. Haven't been back since.
The best place to buy smoke. Great selection, friendly service, and awesome prices. Way better than high 5. Avoid high 5 at all costs.
Some how all of a sudden this is my new favorite!!!! Some awesome deals on halves if your into joints and blunts. Like $40-45 bux!! What????? Been hitting this place up whenever I can lately and I live quite a minute away. Definitely going to return!!!!
I recently came in to the Herbery and was taken care of by Rocio. The reason I chose to be served by her was because I noticed her social maturity with customers. She was extremely knowledgeable about the products I questioned her about and her humility made me connect with her so well. She made me feel comfortable which is why I will most definitely be coming back! I left this hereby feeling beyond special.
Sarah was awesome. I had a million questions and she took the time to answer every one of them. Not only did she answer my questions, but she shared a lot of knowledge with me...I left feeling like I learned a lifetime worth in 10 minutes time with her. She's awesome, and because of her ill be back!
People here are truly awesome. Helped someone like me that's not knowledgeable with patience and kindness.
We stopped by on our way back home on Saturday night and brought our friend to show him our favorite place. We purchased over $160.00 worth of product all together. We came home and noticed our cartridges were malfunctioning and we had 24 hours to return/exchange them. We live out in scappoose Oregon and this location is a solid 45 min drive out of our way. So we get to the location discuss things with a sales associate and then are directed to the "manager". When we showed him what was wrong he said "that's how it's supposed to be, it's supposed to be loose, and you will just need to use it that way" when we showed him the other pen with the tight cartridge and how it didn't malfunction he said "that's cool". So long story short we have three pens three cartridges one that works and two that are malfunctioning and the solution to our problem is to work around it..and we drove a total hour and a half to have nothing resolved. I'm really disappointed in the service we received and more so embarrassed that we introduced our friend to a business that says "that's cool" when we show them how a proper cartridge and pen is supposed to work.
Hands up best experience I've had at any dispensary, down to the door being opened for me.
These guys are all about helping and informing you. Terrance was so helpful and instructed me on how to use a pen. Great customer service and great selection!
This place is amazing. I read a review on Google that ripped this place a new one, and that review only encouraged me to want to try this place more. That, and the fact that it is walking distance to the Extended Stay that I was staying at. They have a security guard at the front door who was extremely friendly.They have a huge selection of everything, and the employees are very knowledgeable on close to all of it. The stuff they don't know much about they are up front about it. At least three employees helped us, and each of them made us feel more than welcome. This place has killer product, amazing employees, and security that makes you feel comfortable.
I went here looking for a specific strain called Ace of Spades. Saw their inventory online and Called first they verified they had some.Once I got there they just had pre rolls, I was trying to get a specific strain to take pictures of it, so I wanted to get some actual flower.Rep was very knowledgeable and suggestive. If I wasn't looking for that specific strain, I definitely would have bought more but I was on a mission that day. Will return. It's in a shopping center so there's parking near and far, as soon as you go in there a full display in front and one off to the side.
Not great at customer service. It started out with me getting a call from the manager at this location. He informed me that two of the four items I ordered were sold to someone else and that I had to pick something else. Pickings were already slim, I had to opt for one that costed $3 more. Most managers would just eat the extra cost for their screw up, but that doesn't happen here. I get to the shop and I am told by the curbside budtender that they also don't have the third item I ordered, but they have something comparable (comparable - of equivalent quality; worthy of comparison.). At this point I just want my order. So, I threw my hands in the air and said sure. Originally my order was supposed to be $46 total, but with the item change with the manager, total should be $49 and since the third replacement item is comparable to the one they sold out my change should be $11. Boy was I wrong! I handed them $60 and ID and I got back only $4 dollars back and ID. Apparently my lovely budtender forgot to mention the third replacement item was $7 more than what I originally ordered. How is this comparable?! With no real apology she offers to return the item for me, but at this point I didn't feel like dealing with b.s anymore so I told her to just forget it and took the items. This used to be my favorite location. Not anymore. I might find a new dispensary altogether. Hope they don't mess up your order and make you pay more.
I would like to extend a huge "Thank You" to the owner of The Herbery and Sean from Sunshine Farms. Their response to my concerns was almost immediate and the information they provided me with went above and beyond. I'm extremely impressed with the initiative they took to ensure that I had the best experience with both their companies and the quality of their product. The professionalism and willingness to answer any and every question that I had has absolutely convinced me to stick with The Herbery.
I needed CBD oil for my cat. The staff was friendly, informative and I found the perfect product that makes him feel like he has all four legs again! The store is clean, well priced and I felt safe there.
All the staff were in proper covid gear. A gentleman named Boston helped me. Boston was very polite and had good recommendations. Sounded like he knew what he was talking about. He also told me about the area a little bit I told him I just moved here and he was quite welcoming and friendly. I will be coming back if this is how all the staff is! Great place, great staff, great bud.

I so completely appreciate the Herbery's car service! You order online and they send you a confirmation/pickup text. Then just park in an "online pickup" spot and text them your info and they'll come outside to take payment/get ID. I am living with my elderly parents during covid and have been avoiding spending time inside of businesses so I love having this option. Ps the budtender with red hair and killer bangs is the sweetest!

Went here to get last minute goodies before the holidays. They were super busy but Ashley K helped me out immediately. She was super friendly and incredibly knowledgeable. I didn't feel rushed at all even tho the place was full. Will definitely be going to this location again!!
SHOP AT YOUR OWN RISK!!! If you buy a cartridge from The Herbery and it’s not working - they will NOT refund or exchange it. They ask you “do you know our refund policy” which is weird because it seems to be non-existent. I was just in the store and watched them do the EXACT same thing to the fellow before me right before they did it to me. They will try to say it’s your fault or your battery’s fault because they don’t want to refund or exchange.
Went sometime in the evening and a bud tender named Sam was there (a big n tall white guy for reference). He had knowledgeable in depth opinions so it was interesting and helpful to ask him what he thought. I ended up being $2 short and he spotted me! I would say in general the people here know what theyre talking about although it's obviously personal opinion. Bottom line: great service and good product.
Wonderful place to shop! The security guards and budtenders I've interacted with have all been very friendly. Being here is a very comfortable and welcoming experience, and it's my favourite part of the week!
