Here we go again I got decived at ZTHE HOLLYWOOD HIGH GRADE  dispensary with this 24$ joins the white guy sayed that its MARATHON joins  ITS JUST TRASH WEED NOTHING RELATED TO THE marathon og weed its weed from  they growers  TRASH!    for 24$. A join what goes around comes around just ask that people from waring st.

I keep going back for three things. The Staff, the  Selection, and the prices. There always seems to be some sort of promotion going on, so you save some cash. There is always a wide selection of both price and quality products, and finally the staff is super friendly and helpful, even the security.

I've been a huge fan of Hollywood High Grade for years now and they are my "Go-to" dispensary for a myriad of reasons. I haven't been able to find better value anywhere in LA and their staff is second to none when it comes to helping you find specific items, working with you if you have any product issues, or livening up your day with good conversation. I'm actually so happy with the vibe I get here that I drive up from Culver City to Hollywood every week to give them my business! Not saying all this lightly, you need to check them out!!!

I really like going to the shop due to their nice/informed staff. There's parking as well and a Chase bank next door. Ty recently recommend Cam Premium Cannabis, Apple Pie Hybrid 140z and it's now a new staple of mine!

I love this place. Every employee is super friendly and knowledgeable about their inventory. I'm always greeted with a smile. Hands down my favorite place to bud up!

Great shop, nice budtenders, great brands and weekly deals. This is my regular shop that has great prices and deals to help with the taxes. Also has a rewards programs where you earn cash back. So ya one of the best shops in the city! Go there and support!!! Stoner gal recommend and approved lol

Security is sometimes overzealous but outside of that this is a solidly consistent dispo the quality is high and the prices are the best I've seen in Hwood this is a good place try not to go too much I hate waiting in line for drugs

I LOVE this spot. It's always the cheapest, and the crew is chill. They're patient (can be good and bad) and they have deals all the time. You can prob see 3 other dispensaries from here but those places are 2x the price.

This has been my go to dispensary since  moving here 4 years ago. Parking is always easy and it's not bougie unlike many newer dispensaries. It's better priced than most places too. Ty is my favorite budtender here.

I was a regular customer until today when a new Security Guard got a lil crazy. They lost my business and I'll be sure to spread the word. There are enough dispensaries out there to not  needto deal with this. * Update, I tried it out again.. Would have spent more money if it wasn't for the security guard in there hassling me.. until they get rid of him, I'm shopping elsewhere!

Been coming here for about a year now. Had good experiences with this place before but in the past couple months, things are going downhill. Between the overpriced dry eighths, handful of gloomy employees who seem to get mad if you ask them a question, and the managers inability to keep their best selling items in stock, I think it's time to explore other shops in LA.   Would recommend for non frequent customers but would not recommend at all for regular customers, for their stock is inconsistent and it's hard to keep a budget when the more affordable items are so frequently out of stock. This store is lucky it's in such a central location on Santa Monica or this place would have closed its doors a long time ago due to incompetence from the managing staff who are unable to keep a consistent stock.  they lost a loyal customer today and I know there are many others who feel the same way.

They got cheap weed, really cheap weed...too cheap. They got $2 pre rolls... that's why I give it 1 star...because when you enter you think your in line for a methadone clinic. The line is long and full of dirty homeless bums...if I was you I would go up one block on La Brea and go to Calma, they got great quality weed for $25+ an 8th way better quality than this home grown trash at this methadone looming spot.

Jay or 'J' the Security Guard was exceptionally and unnecessarily aggressive with their loitering policy.  I finished up a phone call outside for about :11 Seconds and was very rudely told to leave.  I was hanging up the call and as I did I asked how many seconds could I stand on the PUBLIC sidewalk before they considered it Loitering.Jay/J didn't have an answer and just continued his BS attitude until he said, "Just go in and buy your weed" with the most offensive tone.  Waaaaaaay to aggressive and THERE ARE TOO MANY SHOPS AROUND TO BE TREATED LIKE A CRIMINAL AND NOT A CUSTOMER.Have been going there about once a month for over 4 years, spending between $100-$350 Each time......Buh Byeeeeeeee

I shop at High Grade all the time. And when I say "shop", I mean I drop $300-$400/month easily. But, I don't appreciate a certain employee whose name starts with the letter "R". Don't try to sell me a hybrid when I tell you I want an Indica. Don't try to sell me a sativa when I want an Indica. I know my shit & this dude SUCKS. I shouldn't have to worry about unpleasant transactions when I'm spending so much money. He makes shopping at HHG cringeworthy and my whole building avoids being served by this guy (yup, he's so rude we've all talked about him). With so many people who want to be budtenders, surely you can find a better one than R. 4 stars for his shitty attitude & lack of expertise.

beware of their vape pensI brought a vape pen i took it back because it did not taste right and it was making my body feel Weird on the inside. I then ask for some bud in exchange for the vape that I only use twice along with my recipe they did nothing to fix my problem his only concern was did the vape pen work This place and their vape pen are poisonous

This is our favorite med shop in Hollywood! It's a little shop, but there's hella options. Cartridges, flower, free rolls, edibles, CBD bath bombs etc. They got it. Wait times are usually short, the employees are friendly and give good recommendations if you're looking for something new. Shout out to Dakota for the 420 special!

Congratulations-you've found the best place to get bud in LA. Between the parking, employees, prices, and quality it's absolutely unbeatable. Since I found this place I refuse to go anywhere else. They have crazy good daily deals and even a point system to put towards purchases each time. Gosh I just love y'all. THANK U.

Totally disappointed with my visit to this location, after reviewing their menu online I decided to give them a shot. I'm not going to be going back. They didn't seem to apply my medical rec discount to my purchase, I've visited other shops and the receipts clearly state the discount. I wasn't give a copy of my receipt which I needed after realizing that I paid as much for two stiiizy .5 grams as I would for 2 full grams after taxes. This place is overpriced and doesn't apply your rec not worth the visit.

Been coming here for a while, back in the day they were great, the flower was in jars and fresh. Now its all pre-packaged and very dry/stale. There are better places to get your flower. Last week was my last time coming here, going to go to the sessions from now on and buy directly from growers in bags that are fresh. Dont buy here!

Used to love this place. When it was a strictly medical dispensary, it was outstanding.  After two experiences here that were both horrible I am done.If you are looking for a skeevy, methadone clinic vibe, this is the place for you. Lots of armed guards, an barely competent staff will complete the picture for you. Why bother with places like this when there are amazing, civilized places at the same price points that don't make you feel like you are trying to buy a beer at the DMV.

This is the worst club. They sell mold and call it flower. These people are a joke. Don't waste your time or money. There are better club with better quality product and it will not have mold.

I'm giving this dispensary 1 star because of an interaction I had tonight. I've been coming here for years now, great flower, great prices, nice staff but..Tonight I walked in with a friend of mine and the security guard told him he couldn't go in and he had to wait outside. My friend, who's also been coming for a while now, handed me money and the guard told me I couldn't come in anymore. When I asked him why he said "we have the right to refuse service to anyone and you're anyone." He called one of my friends a retard because my friend didn't hear what he said and asked him to repeat it....and aggressively pat down my African American friend because he had his hands in his pocket...note it's 8PM & 50 degrees out...We went outside like instructed and another security guard was walking in. I asked that guard for the stores managerial info and he was happy to give it to me. The security guard who refused service came out and started filming my friend and I. I asked him to stop because he did not have my consent and he refused. Please hire more friendly security.I do not feel safe coming here with someone as aggressive and rude as this security guard especially knowing he has a weapon.

Not really happy with this place . Overpriced, super dry weed ! First time customers get a free lighter .. give me a break ! I think they are more concerned in the jar they put the weed in then the actual weed .

I made this discovery on Leafly after searching for a specific strain. Not only did they have the lowest price compared to other dispensaries, but their menu was enormous. Staff is very helpful and knowledgeable about what they carry. I always ask a lot of questions and they were patient and seemed happy to answer. Prices are good, they have deal days and offer a free goodie bag to first time customers.Security is tight and on point. There's a guy as you enter the parking lot around the corner wearing a bullet proof vest. When you walk inside there's another security guard who is clearly a bad ass. He was very nice, but I wouldn't want to see anyone mess with him. I felt pretty safe being here!They are very well organized and again, everyone is nice and helpful. I will definitely come back.

Dropped in here with some friends and family to check it out on a Sunday afternoon around 5pm. It was a group of about 5 of us. After entering the guard checked us for weapons. We then handed our IDs to the lady behind the glass. She entered them and we all went back. Our wait was nonexistent. The stream of people in and out was consistent and the staff worked people through in a timely manner. Once inside we started talking to the security guard. He was knowledgeable about they varying types of products that the store carried and where they were located along the counter. And let's not forget he was EXTREMELY easy on the eyes. Half of us went to the edible section and the other half to the cartridge section. They have a large supply of edibles of both Sativa and Indicas. There are lots of gummies, chocolates, and more to choose from. The section with the cartridges looked pretty stocked with lots of options.There were two gentlemen behind the counter. The one helping my friends with gummies was super friendly and helpful. He was willing and did answer a ton of their constant questions. Now the dude helping with the cartridges...let's just say I want to trade him in for a new model. His use was VERY minimal. You ask him a question and the response was that of someone not interested in working with customers. He didn't greet me as I walked toward him and made eye contact. I immediately asked about Sativa cartridges and Tangie to be exact. When I say dude act like I was an utter bother to ask questions. My fault, though you were at work to work! I tried to inquire about the Pax and what cartridges did they have. He loosely pointed towards the case as he continued to ring me out. What I'm asking you a question about something else I want to purchase. Finally he pauses and attempts to help.   I ask about Tangie in a Pax cartridge and his response would be "there are a lot of cartridges to look through." So you don't have a way to check your inventory? Or you just would rather not be bothered? Nonetheless I then ask if the cartridges I was purchasing would fit my pen, his response was "well it should. With a shrug of the shoulders." Dude I live out of town. He says "Well check it real fast." Needless to say, I could have and wanted to purchase more...but a lack of customer service prevented that.Keep in mind, those with me had a pleasant experience. The prices were reasonable and they didn't have   exorbitant taxes like another store we went to.  All in all I would definitely recommend and go here again when in town. I would just be sure to not work with the unpleasant employee.

Good dispensary and just over the West Hollywood line.The prices could be better, but they could be worse... you are going to pay a premium for location. In south LA weed is $5-10 usd at dispensaries, here in Hollywood it's $10-20... sucks, yea... but there isn't anything you can do anything about it.All in all, I love the dispensary... I only wish that they had a disabled person's discount and that their security was a bit more gentle with the cavity search. Seriously... lose the agro-metal detectors with feet or put them outside, they kill the vibe.8/10

Every girl behind the counter looked like they hated everyone which I'm ok with if the product is good. Unfortunately, every strand I got was drier than dry and tastes putrid.  Too many alternatives to return to this place.... even the bums around town give better customer service/product

This place is dope. Got a bunch of free stuff for being a first time customer. Everyone knew their stuff. Had a wide variety and decent prices. Plus cheap joints on Tuesday's!

Used to love this place but it's a hit or miss with the bud tenders. Some are great and knowledgeable ( girl w curly hair. White guy and white girl who knows everything) and some just look like they can't be bothered to join life Iike that same girl who is still there. Too many dispensaries in the area for that with super helpful upbeat people. Product here is definitely on the higher end. They don't tell you or advertise the less expensive product ($30 1/8) unless you let them know you're only spending a certain amount. Other places are more upfront and have a better selection.  MMD is my fave.

While I've had troubles in the past with High-grade, recently I've had nothing but a pleasant experience. I'm the kind of guy who goes into a dispo quick. In and out. I don't wanna hang around too long just show me the deals and make it good bud. The staff as of now is very helpful and hooks me up with the deals when they r available. Recently got 8gs for 22$ which is by far the cheapest 1/4 I've ever purchased. Plus the weed is topshelf.

Getting really tired with this place. Service is terrible. Employees are always annoyed if you ask them questions... they respond like they just want to get rid of you. Not a good experience. Moving on to new places.

I really like this place because it has single joints for as little as $5 each which works well on a budget. It is near major bus stops at santa monica and la brea. Even though I am older, I am a novice to Cannabis and the Staff is friendly and helpful. If you are coming by car(I take the bus), you might be able to park in the rather large parking lot which houses Chase Bank and Rite Aid among others but I would check first.Also Hollywood Hi Grade has good hours: 8am to 10pm 7 days a week. There is also a Target, Best Buy, Mickey D's, Ralphs and other Restaurants and Bars within a few blocks of Hollywood Hi Grade so it can be a convenient trip to Hollywood Hi Grade.

First thing I'll say is Hollywood shop... Hollywood prices. Good bud but your going to need at least 30+ for some good

If the military base has a dispensary, then it would look just like this place. Security with guns, bulletproof windows, password doors, you know you are a pothead when you discover a place like this.I felt like Alice went to Wonderland when the first time I  passed the security door and entered the actual store. They have everything, and surprisingly not very expensive. Pretty good service and nice environment, I wish I could live here.Go to this place, get high, then skip work, you will be happier.

Free dirt weed with first visit. The security guard was awesome! Prices are average. Quality of the expensive strain we got, average. Service sucks! The girl with the multi colored curly hair was not friendly at all. As a matter of fact, she was very condescending. I asked for advice and she gave me some bulshit pre-ico excuse why she couldn't answer, followed by a remark about how they don't smoke on the premises. My question had nothing to do with smoking on their premises. I haven't been to a collective, lately, that does allow you to smoke on the premises. But I do now, because I'm not coming back! (As I exhale while pulling out of their lot)

Top of the line, deluxe dispensary located on the border of West Hollywood. Jose the security guard is always super friendly and maintains strong authority. Candy is a sweetheart who greets me at the window and always makes me laugh. I asked Paul about edibles because I haven't had them before so he helped me decide and I love the chocolate blueberries! Don was super sweet too and is on top of his game when it comes to business. Thanks for being a discrete luxe location. I'll be back soon :)

Loved this place. Look for the green cross. Huge selection of everything, good security in a sketchy neighborhood and reasonable prices. The quality of the products are great as well and the bud tenders know their stuff. The big change is that they have edibles with both sativa and indica which is unusual. Park in the Chase lot and take your time inside because you will have 30 flowers to chose from in each category.

When I moved back to LA from the Bay Area, I was dreading the super grunge low-quality shops down here that claim to sell the best but provide mediocre product and service.Thank goodness for Hollywood High Grade. This dispensary is not only on par with the Bay Area dispensaries that I grew to love so much, but the staff well surpass my expectations every single visit. Not only do they know what they're talking about, but they also care about their patients. They always have a smile on their faces and never fail to ask you about your day.The dispensary itself is immaculately clean, well lit, and the display case shows each and every available strain under a magnifying glass so you can see exactly what you're getting.Last but not least--this place is called Hollywood High Grade for a reason. Talk about dank. Huge selection and massive top-shelf selection that is well worth your donation. I've been to a handful of other dispensaries in LA and nowhere else compares. HHG--you've got me sprung.

My GF and dog, who has been a long time customer here was harassed by a random guy inside the dispensary and the security guard on duty (Mckail) watched in quiet amazement as my GF was continually bothered by this guy. The cashier (Walter) apologized for the behavior of the guy in question, but did nothing further, not even flag security.  We later found out that this guy is a regular at the store. Upon hear this news, Me being the concerned BF that I am, calls the store and request to speak to the manager where I received the rudest front desk staff ever (Cayla). After telling her my issues, she would not tell me the manager on duties name, and proceed to tell that my GF "wouldn't of been harassed if I was there." Upon going to the store a few moments later, I questioned a different set of staff (shift turnover) about the incident. The new on duty security guard echoed Cayla's sentiments telling me that "I should of been there to protect her and my dog" and said that the guard on duty then "Probably did not see/hear of this altercation" but admitted that they can always see if you happen to pull out your cell phone, as they have to be on "high alert status" for issues that will challenge them to loose their operating license. I never leave bad yelp reviews, but I must when people are dismissive about allow their paying customers to be uncomfortable and in harms way.If you are considering shopping here, first, DON"T, secondly, if you must, enter at your own risk and be prepared to defend yourself if an altercation happens. #everycustomer4theirselve­s

This was the first of four places I went to in West Hollywood. I was very disappointed I always ask for the top shelf stuff. Like I said in one of my earlier reviews all of these places in weho are charging money because it's weho and Beverly Hills is right next door. You need to take a 15-minute ride and go to the valley you will spend about $200 an ounce and the quality is superior.. if you contact me I will give you the name of a couple of places that have great weed.

The girls that work here are very rude. Maybe you should work on appropriate customer service.

Best thing about this place is the parking sitch. Plenty of it. The weed... well even looking at the dispassionate the have on the counter, all broken up, looks like it's the original display from opening day. Old dry not appealing. And because of that. I've only bought edibles from there. Even the free weweed I got from them, was dank. For samples and displays... shouldn't a club put their best foot forward? Three stars because the lobby staff was awesome.

Looks nice, but they don't carry good product and sales is very snippy. Waste of twenty minutes. Go down the street east a little bit much better experience. They don't have vape pens.And I don't know what the rest of these reviewers have been smoking....

I used to love this place. I actually considered chatting with the bud tenders one of the best parts of my day. I'm here once a week, maybe more. I came today to pick up around 3. I lost my brother this week. He was murdered in a state where drugs like marijuana are still enough to kill someone. Smoking was something we did together often and one of the only times we really got along. I bought some weed to leave on his grave. This was not a happy or casual visit to the dispensary. Leaving, I stopped outside the building sobbing because I couldn't hold it in longer, and I definitely couldn't drive. I was waved away from the entrance by the security guard. I've always felt welcome and comfortable here, but I don't think I will any longer. I've given this business a lot of my money, but can't support them any longer Under the circumstances. I understand people can't loiter outside of the business, but I hardly consider myself collapsed and sobbing loitering. I'm disappointed in the lack of empathy I may have expected, and frankly I'm embarrassed.

Total experience!! Bearded Arrmed Security guard in the parking lot, cool as F__k! Jamming to metal trance on his headphones. Another Bearded Security in the Lobby, also cool as f--k!. Woman at counter check in, very pleasant and cool!!! Weed-tender, I don't know her name, but was the best service i ever got... She recommended dosage on the Cannabis Quencher drink, and also,... was cool about the flower i purshased!!!! Hell yeh. 5 stars!!!!!!! (I now  live in Vegas...but was a Hollywood Local for 14 years!)

Biker Bar or Dispensary?People with a general driver's license don't walk around with their birth certificate and social security card just in case someone wants to say their valid ID is fraud.I was blatantly harrassed by a worker here.She said I was likely fraudulent about my VA certified driver's license because I wasn't also carrying around official military paper documents.She insisted she knows fraud because her "friends in Glendale" commit fraud. She went so far as to make up information about the Veterans verification process with the DMV. She also told me cops saw [my official] Veteran marked ID that they would demand other proof before they believed I could be a veteran. She then asked what branch I served in a condescending manner. She was just wrong and mean about it the entire time.Once, perhaps she understood the error of her ways, her hostility continued as she told me that I, as a veteran, should should be the one to have humility for behavior like hers.This is horrendous customer service and it's not okay. Bottom line, it's unfortunate that any customer might stay away from HHG to avoid stress.

The name says it all: high grade. I rarely shop anywhere else.Product rotates nicely. They get in lots of new stuff all the time. Literally the most insane selection of edibles I've ever seen (and the girls that work there say the same thing). PS. Happy hour is 10am to noon.

Hollywood High Grade is a rare find! Not too many places in WeHo have a parking lot which is MUCH appreciated. The lobby has plentiful seating available and they always have a bunch of staff working. Even when there is a line I only have to wait a few minutes. Went with Heavy Hitters Northern Lights and man that knocked me out.

Very friendly environment!Great staff that's always happy to see you. Great products and very affordable. This is my home store. It has everything I ever wanted: buds, concentrates, edibles, clones, etc. Also very clean place! They have great deals going on throughout the week as well and it's a plus that they are open 7 days a week! I love that their new hours are 10-8 because that definitely more convenient for me!

This place is awesome, I love it. The security guards are cool. The location is good. They have a lot of variety to choose from and the staff is quick to show you samples where you can actually smell the weed and look at it. They offer great prices with no tax. When you spend enough you get a $50 store credit and a free t-shirt. I don't have a whole lot else to say about this place other than it's great and I highly recommend it.

While I've been coming here for a year now, today is likely my last visit. Rude bud tender acted like I was wasting her time, seemed to bend over backwards to NOT give advice. I asked what chocolate bars are recommended to which she responds "I don't eat chocolate." Not "well a lot of people like this" or "our best sellers are these." Ask for one of the guys or the blonde girl to help you out. The brunette is a sad, shady lady who will make your 420 errands less magical than they should be

I love this spot! They have plenty of parking in the back, amazing selection of different strains to choose from. Super friendly staff that is very knowledgeable & helpful. The line can get long sometimes but other customers at this shop are always down to share a laugh while you wait. This is one of my required stops every year on 4.20 and who am I kidding, I'm also here almost every week of the year haha

Stopped by here last weekend to stock up on meds.  Big thumbs up on the reserved parking in the rear...don't see that much in LA. The security guard was very helpful and assisted me through the paperwork needed to shop at their store.  The shop itself was very clean and bright.  I was a little bummed that they ran out of the GSC vape but settled for the Pineapple express.  All is good. Customer service was good and if Im ever on that side of the city again, i will stop by.

A multitude (at least 6) of the more affordable concentrates listed on their weedmaps menu are not available in store (and haven't been for a while; I was a regular customer). What's up with that? Please keep your menu updated!

The only good thing about this place is the parking and the few remaining original staff. Otherwise the place is super overpriced  and caters now to tourists mostly who don't know or don't care their being overcharged big time. They have about 5 strains of bud on the menu but literally dozens of pens. That's because it's easy to bring Vape pens though security on planes and are the easiest to sell to out of staters. Don't believe the expensive billboards and 5 star reviews from Okies on here and Weedmaps. Read the non-recommended reviews to get a true picture of Hollywood Highgrade. Best to bring your business elsewhere.

I know a bit about this stuff but never been to this store.  Tiffany knew her stuff, really helped me out!  I need to take something for chronic pain and she walked me through my options.  Prices were pretty reasonable.

As a first time patient, I was recommended here by a friend. Boy was she right. You walk in, do a quick sign up, and walk in. The thing I first noticed was the lighting and how crazy clean in was in there. The next thing I noticed was the smell. It smells dank. Amazingly so. So I walk up to the front desk and mention that it was my first time ever even going to a dispensary, and the woman behind the counter was so, so helpful. She walked me to the shelves that hold the marijuana and she walked me through the strains, their strength, and effects. I ended up leaving with a goody bag for first time patients, two 1/8ths, an extra strength cheeba chew, and a prerolled joint. Overall, fantastic first time experience.

i've been shopping here for almost three years now, boy have they changed. granted the laws have, but there's constant new rules lately and seemingly constant "new management," but today was the end for me. the staff has always been great as have the deals, but recently, as deals have changed, attitudes have as well. last week i was given less than my medical discount, because the budtender couldn't make an adjustment, and the daily special was knocking my discount off. when i pointed out that i was being over charged, i was told "i was still getting a good deal." not the point or the principle. but i went in the other day for a new pen, and was upsold to a pen and cartridge from select. i forgot that their cartridges jam. after a few hits, it was all blocked from the oil feeding up into the mouth piece. i brought it back today and was told that because i had used it they wouldn't take it back. if it was faulty they would, but since i'd been able to smoke a little, i'd have to contact the manufacturer. this is a store where i drop a minimum of $100 a week for years. and i have to contact the manufacturer. i asked how i would have known it was faulty if i hand't tried it, and they just said again that i should contact the manufacturer. tl:dr the service and deals have gone way down hill. i used to enjoy going there for both the deals and the staff. today i said thank you and goodbye to the few employees there that are still solid. and the saddest part, they don't care. they have so much hollywood turnover business, regular customers don't matter. if you're local, find better, kinder store for your kind.

this is grrrrrrreat. the most edibles i have ever seen fast budtenders and the prices are the best in town !!!  cannabis quencher 12!!!  so happy they are back and the kiva minis are 3!!    i love fair dispensaries, ,and love the hollywood high grade parking is fantastic! !!  bravo! !!!!!!!

The prices here are fair, the staff is friendly and the edibles selection is the bomb dot com. I love me some Kiva chocolate... I got some freebies when I came here for the first time (1g of flowers, a lighter and a preroll) which usually ensures my return. It's clean, bright, organized and efficient. There is PARKING around the side of the building too.

Horrible. This place used to be good but has gone downhill fast. The prices are incredibly and increasingly high, they never have any low or mid grade options, overly priced and/or crappy joints. They really angered me because when I asked them about the prices they just said "oh that's all that's available on the market" ??? Then how come almost every other dispensary has lower prices than you??? Totally bulls***ed me. This place is obviously taking advantage of its location in Hollywood, and the owners are obviously greedy. Like, way to take care of your loyal customers (NOT). I'm never going there again as there are many dispensaries that are friendlier, more affordable and with more options.  I REALLY tried to like this place but they've made it IMPOSSIBLE.  Even most of the budtenders don't like it and agree with me (and are looking for other jobs!!) I'd reccomend this place if you are desperate,  don't care about weed quality,  and are OK with wasting your money.

CAUTION TO NEW PATIENTS. These guys are the only dispensary I have ever visited that requires the original stamped prescription (on 8.5x11 paper) to visit. A card is not enough to get in here. No other dispensary asks for this. If you feel like carrying around an 8.5x11 original prescription document with you at all times then go here. If not, please go to one of the many other dispensaries within 5 blocks. Imagine if a bar asked you to bring your birth certificate every time you tried to enter... Your drivers license is not enough. Well this is what these guys are doing. I can't speak for everyone's experience, but there was a blonde woman behind the counter who would not budge and was not very nice. Save yourself some time and take your business elsewhere!Worst dispensary ever. Especially when there are so many other options within a few blocks away

Really like this place. Secure, extremely clean, kind and very knowledgable employees. Great options of all sorts, even for things to slowly enjoy (candy, soda, ice cream, honey).

Friendly, no hassle. Once your in there system you only need a id. Unlike other shops that make me show them the cert every time as a care giver.  Great selection and prices.

I have been getting a quad of the shake here for 20! It's always really stinky which I don't get at other clinics. I'm impressed with the knowledgable and friendly staff. Even the security guard is really nice! I'm also impressed with the assortment of strains, edibles and concentrates. Thanks Hollywood high grade, I'm actually on my way right now.

Best spot around. Donations to cover every budget,support friendly staff and very knowledgeable. They know thc /cbd percentages off the top of their head. Awesome space,super clean and professional.rotating shows by local artists on the walls as well.

This used to be my place. Last week I ordered a bunch of stuff, including 1/8ths of several strains. For one of them I was only given 1/16th but was charged for the 1/8th and didn't notice until after I'd left and was already an hour out of LA on my way to the mountains (again I'd placed a big order that day, and since I was charged the amount I'd expected it didn't occur to me to verify that I'd actually been given the correct amount). Today I went in to see what they could do for me, and since they keep a record of your purchases I figured it would be no problem. Turns out, they refused to do anything about it because the person who did it "would get in trouble", like it's my problem that the guy gave me half of what I asked for and charged me full price experience a consequence for his mistake. They didn't deny that it happened, they just refused to offer anything other than a shrug and a sorry. I cashed in the credit I had an made my last purchase there. I liked this place a lot, but how can you acknowledge that it was your staffs fault and still refuse to do anything about it? That's not right. I won't be back.

The best in every regard. The people are happy, knowledge, and friendly. The selection is great in regards to buds, edibles, and especially oils/hash. Last the facility is clean and open. It makes one feel like they are dealing with professionals not buying pot from a dealer with an address. I can't stress again at how wonderful the people are. The pot is great but the people are even better. I've been to several local dispensaries and there is no comparison.

I walked into this place last week, and I just got this weird vibe. The people working there, behind the counter, the security guard, like they were afraid of someone or something (the owner?). Looked at a few things, was not impressed. So just walked out. Sorry to leave a bad review , maybe it is just me.

When I am in different areas of the County, and I need to re-purchase, I like to try different places to do this.  I was in the area and based on the reviews I thought I would try this place.  I only purchase the shake and in most places it's more than decent for my purposes, not this place.  While the quantity looks enticing the quality is way less than what I have grown at home and purchased at other co-ops.  I would not suggest this place for the shake, and I definitely will not be returning, even the freebies had little to no effect on me.

Freaking amazing always willing to extended themselves to you. I bought some shatter that I didn't like so they replaced it and had a freakin chat with me... unlike their neighboring med shop ( Los Angeles patient and caregiver group) they have more than 20 strains.. and their shop looks amazing . This my favorite place. The workers are always friendly with smiles on their faces. They maintain professionalism and are equipped with solid informatiin regarding the products and how it could help you with you current medical condition... I never feel rushed. And it is never to long of a wait.. great environment .

Very professional with top notch goods! Most times I buy edibles and can barely choke them down, these edibles deliver! Taste, potency, and healthy ingredient choices! The herbs were also best quality I've seen in L.A. dispensaries :) thank you Hollywood High Grade!

I have been very impressed by this place! I was warmly greeted upon entering and made to feel very comfortable. The bud tender was also very friendly and very knowledgeable as well. She helped me to figure out which strain would work best for my ailments. She also introduced me to the double dark chocolate truffles! WOW. These are some seriously high quality edibles! The chocolate was top notch and the strength was potent. The facility was very spacious and clean as well. Felt very tranquil and comfortable. I will definitely be recommending this place to all that have need for the medicine.

I can't believe I drove over and hour to check this place out. The customer service was over the top bad! The security guard was cool helping me out and getting signed in.... Once I was in it looked clean enough that was until this chick dressed as a pussy cat came to help me. This chick was short with me & rushing me out the door. No help at all, I took my time browsing there inventory (I didn't spend more then 10 min looking, but I wanted to make the drive worth it.) I grabbed 2 different flowers, wax, & shatter. All the pussy attendant kept asking was, "anything else?" I didn't want it to get to me until she rang me up, after I gave her my money. The worst attitude I've ever experienced at a dispensary. I've never been so pissed spending 150 dollars, and still being treated like crap. I'll never be back here and wouldn't recommend this place to patient's. Complete joke on me, I guess. My flowers were not even that great (full of leaf) straight out, stress weed. Do not bother going there, go to San Pedro all good weed all legit dispensaries, and welcoming staff.

I don't put this special Dispensary in the same category as I do other weed vendors. Hollywood High Grade is a culture, an authoritative brand and maverick business that goes above and beyond the standards which other dispensaries operate. Every aspect of the customer  experience is exceptional. From the receptionist to the security guards to the budtenders, all are professional and courteous. The registration process is efficiently streamlined so you can get to the shopping part and aquire your medicine as soon as possible. As far as the store, the flower inventory is amazing and continually updated. They offer THC/CBD percentages so you will know exactly what to expect with each flower strand. In a world of deceptive business practices, it sure is nice to find a business that operates under the spirit of transparency. But, that is only one aspect of HHG. Their inventory covers all aspects of THC products and they offer the best of everything. 5 stars and beyond.!!!!

First of all, when I asked what kind of documentation was sufficient for proving veteran status I got "I don't know. Whatever they give you guys."...because asking an establishment about their policies is absolutely ridiculous and I should've known. Secondly, the sovereign citizen looking security guard who must have an issue with either being spoken to or with being spoken to by black members of the LGBT community. I said "hello, how are you" and got a non-response. Thirdly, every single female bud-tender is unfriendly. They're one of many dispensaries in Hollywood, don't patronize these jackasses.

Have been coming here for years now. Always great. Not sure why, but recently, all the bud I've picked up from here is chalked full of seeds and stems. Like I just broke up a single nug and like 11 seeds came out of it... I'm hoping they correct this issue.

This is one classy dispensary. Digital Menus on the wall listing prices and THC percentage. Friendly and knowledgeable staff. And their sativas (if that's your thing) are strong and the best I've ever had.

They use iPads connected to the wall to register new patients, which was fast and convenient. The line was about 10 people long inside and had 5 more people in waiting room but it surprisingly moved really fast. The security guard seemed to know everyone who walked in except for me and like 2 other people. They said that it's usually not busy like it was when I went (20 mins before close). It was super clean and bright (professional looking, unlike most dispensaries). The very nice security guard walked me to the front of the line because I was a new patient. I was greeted by a really nice girl named Stephanie who asked me if I knew what I wanted or needed help picking something out.... and the inside of the store was really impressive. I told her what I wanted (since I already knew), she weighed it out and packed everything up for me INCLUDING a free pre-roll of OGK, a free gram of Skywalker OG and a free lighter. I got the three strains I asked for on top of that and left super happy. Will 100% return when I can (since it's not in my area). Everything I thought it was and more!

This place is the best dispensary I've been to in Hollywood. They have great prices and a remarkable variety of buds, as well as a good selection of concentrates. Their edibles are few but delicious and effective. I've always received professional service from their budtenders and I won't be going anywhere else anytime soon!

First time patient, and I cannot describe how satisfied I am. I was respectfully greeted and welcomed; feeling really comfortable aside from being a bit nervous. I wasn't sure what to expect but it was the complete opposite. Nothing but friendly smiles. The workers were very informative about which strain fits your needs. Extremely satisfied and prices are reasonable even for being top shelf, a plus+  Looking forward to coming back.

The security guard working on June 10, 2015 around 5pm should be fired. I was a loyal customer to this dispensary but I come in with my deaf friend and the security guard says (after I ask him) that she can wait in the waiting room. I start communicating with her on our phone typing (because she's deaf) so the security I guess is freaking out and basically tells me I can't buy any weed this day because we might be drug trafficking. This security guard is obviously like many other security guards and on some Zimmerman power trip. I'm going to lobby for this security guard to be fired. He is disturbing and unwelcoming and unprofessional. I won't go back to this dispensary.

This place is great! The employees are helpful and kind. Their wide variety of concentrates are very well priced. They have a great selection of bud and it's fresh and affordable. I wish that they had some kind of BOGO deal or 5 gram eighths but I don't hold it against them. Everyone that works there is incredibly cool and the fact that they have gorgeous budtenders doesn't hurt. This dispensary is clean, orderly, fair, compassionate, and competitive. I love these people!

Ordered pick up through weedmaps. Got a text that my order was ready. When i got in line to pay, the bud tender tells me that my order total is $14 more than what weedmaps said it'd be. She said something about weedmaps applied the wrong amount of excise tax. I've ordered through weedmaps with them before without this issue. They should have texted or called me to inform me. I didn't even have enough cash on me to pay the extra amount that they wanted. I liked them before but this was a disappointing experience and I won't be coming back.

Great, helpful staff. Convenient adjacent parking lot that's free. And the best best prices in the area.They only take cash, but they do have an ATM inside and there's a Chase across the street. I'm a bit of novice when it comes to marijuana products so I appreciate how the staff -- even when busy-- has taken time out to help me find products that fit my lifestyle and needs. I've taken out of state friends here and they have always been happy with the selection here.

My absolute favorite dispensary in the LA area. I've been here many many times and felt that I finally needed to leave a review.First, the staff is all very friendly. I have never had a bad experience with anyone--security or budtender. Most importantly though, they do not try and up-sell you. This place is very honest and relaxed but professional. One time I went in and told them I only had $60 cash, what eighth could I get? And the tender recommended I save my money and buy a $25 eighth (yes, they have these there!).Second, the prices are extremely fair!! Ask about the $25 eighths I just mentioned and also the $3 house pre-rolls. I'm telling you, no other dispensary around LA will carry such high quality flower at such an affordable price. They even told me they are dedicated to being the cheapest dispensary around and will price match. Their inventory is great for me, but I never go looking for anything specialty.I recommend this place to anyone that is looking for a positive dispensary experience. I am a woman and sometimes when I go into a dispensary alone I feel very uncomfortable, but not here! The best part... there is parking in the back!

Best prices in town. Hands down. I got 5 mini prerolls that consisted of  an 8th for 12$ and two half gram prerolls for 6.Most places in Hollywood you spend double or triple this for one joint. Friendly staff and quick service!!Will keep coming back :)

Correcting a bad review. This place is great. The staff are all super friendly and pretty knowledgable. They're also all really friendly. They have some great specials too. The only missing star is because they make you leave any bag you have with you in an open bookcase in the lobby.

Horrible service for tourists. I was visiting from the East coast and was foolish enough to tell them so. They immediately took advantage of my ignorance and sold me 4 cartridges of what I can only guess is Kerosene and a bit of CBD, that was labled THC Effective 93%.   My biggest red flag came after purchasing. They don't give a receipt. Had I known this going in, I wouldn't have purchased anything. I don't do business with people that are scared to stand behind their product and are scared for you to realize how overpriced they are. Go a block away and you will be much more satisfied.

Purchased a couple loose grams of flower. A few Jeeters & was on my way. Honestly was a tad bit overwhelmed as I first entered. The menu looked a bit daunting but the expereince was appreciated. Thanks!

This place is the best for edibles, they always have a great deal going and the staff are (normally) very nice and helpful. A girl with an orange beanie (didn't greet us when we said hello) told me my id wasn't valid, the same one I have been checking in with for months. When I first signed up I used my passport and brought that, but eventually started bringing my expired license and it wasn't a problem. Every dispensary I have worked at/bought from required valid id for new patients, and for returning patients expired licenses were not an issue since it's just a name check. I don't have a problem showing my passport, and if this is policy that's fine. But it's not fair to be led on by lazy execution of a policy or inconsistent application of it, as I didn't have my passport because of the past precedent. Stay consistent with your policies so you don't have frustrated customers.

This place is one amazing dispensary. I recommend everyone in the United States to come to this location in Los Angeles/ Hollywood.

I've been buying my 420 almost exclusively at this dispensary for several years now. I always have a good experience shopping here. Their prices are fair and they have a very wide variety of products. Their counter staff are all knowledgeable about their products and are happy to make recommendations. They have ample parking in the parking lot around the corner on Sycamore. And they have daily pricing specials like 10% off all edibles on, I believe, Mondays... just for example.

I’ve been a huge fan of Hollywood High Grade for years now and they are my “Go-to” dispensary for a myriad of reasons. I haven’t been able to find better value anywhere in LA and their staff is second to none when it comes to helping you find specific items, working with you if you have any product issues, or livening up your day with good conversation. I’m actually so happy with the vibe I get here that I drive up from Culver City to Hollywood every week to give them my business! Not saying all this lightly, you need to check them out!!!

My go to dispensary since moving here four years ago. The price you see is what you pay out the door unlike other dispensaries that do not included the tax price Which is very annoying. This dispensary still has the best prices of any dispensary I’ve been to in California - and I’ve been to about 20. You also get credit each time on your account. Another thing I really like about this place is that it looks like a real old school dispensary without looking like a Apple store like most other dispensaries are trying to. If you enjoy sleek high-end shopping experiences, this may not be the place for you, but if you want quality products at great prices, HHG will not disappoint!
