These people are great!  They have an excellent selection and are very knowledgeable and helpful.  They're also very accommodating if there are any problems with their products.

I came out of town and needed some cannabis oil for the nerve damage in my arm from breast cancer. I had spasms all morning and went over to SBC and they were so helpful and had a great selection! Definitely my go to when I am here for work. Staff made me feel comfortable and even delivered. Just make sure you have cash since they are fairly new. Thank you SBC..

While this looks like quite a nice medical dispensary, please note that one, if you do NOT have a state medical card (which I do) you cannot shop here, and two, the city of Santa Barbara has a 24 hour wait from registering till when you can purchase. I'm undergoing cancer treatment, haven't been able to taste, eat or sleep, and this was my first day out of the house since December. We decided to go for a drive to Santa Barbara, an hour away, and go to this specialized dispensary for medicine to help me. Obviously coming back tomorrow isn't an option, and now we will drive back (at least 2 hours in traffic) and and another 45 minutes to get medicine in LA.  Or rely on delivery and not have the same assurance of quality and appropriate treatment.   At the very least, this info should be posted with dispensary information. And if I have a state issued medical card, and a sheath of records about my cancer, what exactly changes in 24 hours? Besides my bring too sick and exhausted to even get medicine.As an addendum to my review, while still driving back home, I realized that why wouldn't a medical only dispensary prefer I go to a recreational dispensary regardless of my medical requirements, so the city can get 44% tax...  a person stuck in traffic for hours while holding a puke bag because they can't get their medicine can think a lot of things.  Santa Barbara, and the State of California, stop punishing patients!  It's discriminatory and unethical.

I've been there one time months ago. Now they are sending me texts saying they will use my number for marketing purposes? Awful! Who knows who they are selling your info to!

Love coming to the SB Collective! The people are always friendly and they have a great selection. The Budtenders are super helpful and knowledgeable of the products and brands. It is only MEDICAL. So if you have a California medical card definitely check this place out you won't be disappointed!

Update: the owner got in touch with me and remedied the situation. It was out of their way, too. I can honestly say that SB Collective's customer service is one that should be exemplified by all businesses. Thank you SB Collective!

I can honestly say that SB Collective’s customer service is one that should be exemplified by all businesses. Thank you SB Collective! Initial review: Excellent customer service. I believe it was the owner who helped me out and he made sure to accommodate my needs even though I live in Ventura. My only complaint and reason that I docked off one star is because one of the vape cartridges I opened leaked half of the contents... and it's only been open for 3 days. SO bummed about that and feel that's just money down the drain D:. However, customer service here is next level.

False Advertising! I always get Wedding Cake everytime I shop for flower because I like the effects and it helps to sleep. But the wedding cake I got from this place was leafy tasted like I was smoking leafs ! It was super dry, maybe because they have old ones they have to get rid of, but like for real ? Why give it to a first timer. It didn't allow me to actually feel that relaxation or peace of mind that what I was smoking was weed .. it was actually a worry and was giving me bad dreams so I stopped smoking it and threw it away...because it's not about the money but the stuff they are selling is NOT weed buy only leafs of the plant along with some weed here and there mostly STICKS AND LEAFS. It smelled bad before and while lit, it had a bad oder of old grass from a farm. The photo on their website didn't even match what they sold me. 0/10 rating score. In conclusion, it was not a good experience at all.
