First time here in Salinas and was explained how it all works and was assisted with what I was looking for. I was told about the 5centPreroll (i think it's what it's called) when you're a 1st time customer, but I didn't get anything, just left with my purchase. During my wait I kept getting approached for assistance... must say very attentive staff... thanks for the positive experience
Your lousy employee kicked me out and banned me for listening to music on my headphones as I walked in clearly she is rude and inconsiderate upon ppl like me so I want to be allowed back in bcuz this BS.she thought I was talking to customer rudely when I wasnt I was singing so wtf

Place was clean and service was decent. However, PLEASE go somewhere else! Anywhere else. Weed is overpriced and my stash smells like trash. They called it Pineapple OG, but tastes more like schwag OG. Absolutely terrible! Oh and i got a garbage preproll for first time in. Yippeeee! Definitely my last.
I would like to say for my first time buying products from this place and in general was a great experience, I was greeted and had to hesitation to answer my questions and show me what I was looking for I will surely be coming back again

This place lost a lot of amazing workers. Mark is still one of the best people in there. But, Unfortunately I'm changing my 5 star review for being referred to as a "bitch" by somebody working in curbside orders. I'm here for a curbside pickup and as I was calling For check in I overheard workers say "order for alexis on spot 3" and then another man's voice saying "well that bitch needs to wait" and was hung up on. Hopefully that worker learns a lesson about treating costumers with respect whether its direct or indirectly. Incredibly disrespectful, unprofessional and just flat out mean. If he hates his job that much maybe he shouldn't be working in such place. Will change review once contacted and apologized for. I'll be back
I will not do business with a place that has no customer service skills. Last time ever will I do business with this place. I walked out cause no one came to help me. Sorry but I'm not waiting anymore!!!
The day started off average, allona helped make it exceptional. Monday's are always a drag, but she definitely set the tone for my week.
Was in the area and wanted to come grab some products. Disappointed, the service was quick but the bud tender wasn't very knowledgeable. Told her how much money I had to spend and what products I wanted to purchase. She took me to the highest priced section. After listening to what she "suggested" I asked he for a higher quantity. She showed me the products that they had some that were out of the price point for 1 product, when I asked for 2. Didn't keep in mind that there is a legal amount that they are able to sell to a customer at one time. Just wish the customer service would have been better. Clean store, ok selection.
Jordan approached me professionally and helped guide me to a product that will address my pain. She was sensitive and listened to me carefully. The service was kind and quick, as always (I usually come here for my pup).
This used to be a professional and friendly dispensary that I would recommend in a heartbeat, unfortunately the new staff members have lowered that vibe. Unfriendly when you go in store so decided to curbside which is worse! Very rude and impatient on the phone. No curbside parking available yet cars are empty so why bother with reserved stalls if they are used by people that clearly just want front row parking when regular parking spots are empty. And why do they bother to have security when they allow other customers to park along the driveway in the fire lane because they are entitled lazy ass idiots. This is a circus the only positive possibility is having Xavier bring out your curbside order, he is a ray of light amongst all that darkness
Phenomenal experience whenever I pay them a visit! Staff is exceptionally kind and always answer any questions my n00b-ass has. Love that they enforce EVERYONE wear their masks properly!
I agree with last customer . Poor customer service. Let me in a room for 15 min and never returned . I walked out and security said what happen I said they never came out to help me . As 5 customers came in while I was waiting . No worries thou Purple Lotus is hooking me up . I just have to drive . But customer service and product is worth it .
Was disappointed with the lack of leadership. Not sure if this is how they run their business but this was not the first time and am pretty sure it will happen again. Employees were to busy gossiping behind the cash register and ignoring customers on the floor. One employee told me that they 'assumed they help' thats something no one want to hear after they been waiting and waiting. I don't blame the employees they just want to get paid I blame the leadership of this establishment. They must really love to gossip and ignore customers
My bday is 420 so I know weed and they have dry brown brittle weed! Even on their display in the middle. One time I bought this lemon tree weed and I called them saying that the weed i bought was horrible but the lady didn't offer me a refund. Also I know they got the fire sale joints but they are dry & bitter as well. What a waste of money my best advice if you go there is to really look at the weed before you buy. Or go to Theraleaf in San Jose (that's my #1 favorite weed shop)
What a disappointment! First time at the club,, never coming back. Totally messed my order up, got halfway home before I realize the problem. Went back and they made it right, but when I got home and realized that the free pre-roll joint they gave me was out of date!Far too much competition out there who do itbetter!Just wanted a couple pre-rolls, so I figured I'd give them another shot. I was not greeted when I came in, two girls were talking over in the corner, when I went and interrupted the conversation , They were a bit upset that I interrupted their conversation. After she took my order, four people came in, and we helped before I was. They all ordered after I did, but I just stood there and waited for my 4 pre-rolls. I finally walked out! Never to come back again!

Horrible weed. Great service.I went with my bf to check this place out. I don't indulge but I know shitty weed when I see it. It was so dry it crumbled It is way overpriced as well. I just don't see myself paying 45-65 for gummies
Tbh the weed is great. Before covid they had great deals but after covid they spiked their prices and started having less deals. They also lag on the curbside pick up. I'm still going to buy my weed from here but it's just slightly irritating when it comes to the service lol.
I only purchase vape cartridges and always ask BEFORE purchasing if it will work with my battery which I tell them which brand. I was ASSURED by the staff at the time of purchase it would work but low and behold it did not. Less than 5 days later I went back but because I did not have a receipt they would not exchange it. I had to provide a photo ID for purchase. So they say I will just have to buy a new battery to fit this wrong item I was sold! Whew, called compassionate bay deliveries, they were at my home in a snap, rolled their eyes after I told them what happened. Anyway they were super helpful, fixed me up with correct cartridge and battery no run around.Couple of days later... still trying to reach out to east of eden company to make sense I just can't believe this is their policy it just blows my mind it's like going to get four tires and being told they will fit on your car and then when you go back because one doesn't fit they tell you to just buy a new car that will fit the wrong tire which I am having a really hard time wrapping my head around. So I attempted the email address that's on their website however that is not a correct or current email they also do not have a Facebook page even though they have a Facebook icon on the bottom of their website so now the whole thing seems really sketchy. Go anywhere but here.
When they first opened service was amazing .Last time I went I had to ask two people for help because they were to busy talking to each other .When we asked for three things on their website , the girl " I never herd of that product and I been here a month.Not only has the service gone down the tubes .The staff has no clue what products they have and the web site is in need for an update .3/4 of the products they say they have and have in stock they don't .They just keep pushing other brands and products . We know what we want the customer .I could care less what the staff likes .You guys need to get you act together , from now on I'll spend my money at Emerald green in town . Service and stock and product knowledge.

This is one of the slick new post-prohibition cannabis shops. I saw a billboard on the 101 and stopped in Salinas to check it out and get lunch.Big open space, good inventory and friendly staff. They didn't have the strains I was looking for, but did have a decent selection at good prices.Living in Oakland, the epicenter of the legalization movement, we're spoiled by more competition and choice. But this was a good, well laid out spot.
The pricing is kinda off. It's worth it more to just drive to Santa Cruz for the same or better selection for cheaper. I get that it's the only place around but still.
Flower is always dry and it's extremely over priced. If you know anything about good weed or have decent expectations of it, don't come here. I'm giving 2 stars because the guys that bring it out to your car have goodCustomer service.
I'd give them zero stars if I could. They act as if they're doing you a favor when you go there. Each and every time I've given them my business they come up with some hidden prices or new rules that are not specified on their web site. For example, they've changed their early bird discount from 6 to 10 am, to 6-9 am (this at least is on their site). Then I tried buying one of their specials. Buy one, get one for $4. Nope, they were sold out of the promo items by 10 am but the special was still active on their site. Then I got there before 9 am to get the early discount but they said, "sorry, your item is excluded from the early discount." When I asked them to show me where it said this on their website they said, "well we don't have that information on our website but you still gotta pay full price." EOE treats their salinas customers like crap. Way better to buy from CannaCruz. They actually appreciate your business whereas EOE treats you as if they're doing you a huge favor.
Never disappointed. Although sometimes hard to find what you need. Also what I say to those who have got dry flowers. I have this advice for you, talk to your bud tender and ask what has been selling. I have got both dry and fluffy flowers. It's also who is the grower and how they dried and processed the flower. I have got flowers for other places that have been dried. So please pick your bud tenders brain. Don't be afraid to ask how fresh is your stock. If you are a medicinal patient like myself or not please keep yourself updated on new things in this community we have created. Then everyone will have a pleasurable experience. Stay safe. I've been going here since they first open and I feel like the cash registers upfront where you pay I think the woman should be more friendly besides having a mad looking face and attitude I understand everyone has bad days but don't take your business to work I ask the manager to plz retain the cash register staff to have better customer service
Went in today, Thursday November 26th 2020, to pick up a cartridge for my battery. Asked for Super lemon haze in a full gram by P2 and the associate that helped me told me they had it in stock (it's been out of stock on a couple of my previous visits so I was pretty happy to hear this). After making my selection I find myself waiting to be called to pay for a bit longer, a handful of people that got there after me received theirs before me but not the biggest deal. Once I get called to pay the gentleman helping me was extremely friendly HOWEVER the gentlemen read me what I ordered, the super lemon haze by P2 while presenting me XJ-13 by P2 and intentionally put his finger in front of the label so I would not be able to see. Safe to assume the gentleman was unaware that the different flavors have different colored labels so I could see from the color that it was not super lemon haze. However it being thanksgiving and me not trying to spend more time in there than I needed to I didn't comment. The gentleman then neglected to give me my receipt (the only time this has ever happened to me at this establishment) I'm assuming so I can't make an exchange or return when I "find out" they gave me the wrong thing. The irony in it all is so long as it was by the same company I would take any sativa, just think it's worth mentioning that rather than telling me it was out of stock and asking if there was anything else I was interested in, the associate deliberately lied to me and covered his ass by trashing my receipt. Younger gentleman mid 20s with a beanie on. Happy thanksgiving
East of Eden needs a lot of work in customer service. For one, there is no queue. Often when it is packed, you basically have to be lucky to be helped. Over at the other one at least they have a line.So I have a couple of problems. They've sold some faulty stuff and their return policy is sketchy as fuck. I bought a bad Brass Knuckles vape pen once and couldn't return it without a receipt.. oh well, lesson learned - ALWAYS KEEP YOUR RECEIPT. One day my wife bought me a vape cartridge and I couldn't get a hit off it. I took it, the box, and receipt and drove 50 miles to get it exchanged or refunded. First the guy says they need to test it, and he goes into the back.. returns and confirms that it is faulty. But what happens? They refuse to accept the return because my wife isn't there. Now I'm stuck having to do another ride because they don't put two thoughts into this policy. Their customer service is whack, about half the employees ignore you and talk to their friend or a girl they want to mack on. Emerald Grove it is now.
Man I'll tell you this. Writing this review saddens me. I've been a LOYAL patient with EOE for a long time now. They are my go to one stop shop! I've spent thousands here and buy in BULK weekly. Today I placed a order for just a little under $200. The dude named "GF" has legit delivered to my place at least 2-3 times. I prefer going in person but sometimes YOU JUST CANT. He called stating he couldn't find the apartment. Okay no problem it can be confusing at times. So we give him the most simple directions more then 3 times. STILL CANT FIND US. If I didn't have a NEWBORN I would of saved the hassle of trying to explain something so easy to someone who just can't take direction easily. (Bad business if you have a delivery driver who can't follow directions). Anyways 45 minutes rolls by. I call EOE only to get my call answered by a snappy rude chick. Asking me "So what's the correct address then"? Uhm excuse me? Correct your tone you work with the public. Don't be mad at me because the driver who was dispatched to deliver my order can't seem to follow directions. This interaction alone will discontinue my business with them. You provide excellent services in the front end. If your operations are trash you will loose patients. Learn some customer service skills chick, your attitude was nasty.
prices are decent. people that work there are friendly but the whole registration in the system if youve never been there versus just scanning and checking your id is od. first time customers do get a discount and may give you a free pre roll so thats a bonus. if Im in the area and in the mode. I may try again. thanks
Went to go try to see if I can get help with a pen/pod that I had just bought cause it wasn't working even had receipts and they told me they couldn't help me instead they wanted me to buy another pen + pod and they'll give me a dollar off. I've heard a lot of bad things about this company and I never choice to care for it but since this is how they treated a regular customer I will no longer be spending my money here they don't care about you they just want your money
The good points are that it's clean, modern and the staff are very friendly. But several times, I've been told contradictory information when I asked about the use of some topicals. I often feel like staff don't really know about the products. And on my past two visits, the cashier put the wrong products in my bag. So for example, I was paying for an $80 balm but being given a $50 one. I'm so glad I peeked in the bag before paying! I feel suspicious that it's happened twice.
Went in to stock my dog up on CBD, decided to get a little something for myself while I was there, and Jessica was beyond helpful. Answered alllll my questions and gave me excellent recommendations, and my cashier Manessa was also equally as amazing. They definitely deserve the shout out! See you girls next time!
Everything about this dispensary is perfect, the staff is friendly, there are fair prices for all types of buyers, and they take COVID very seriously. If you are walking into the store they will take your temperature and you will be required to wear a mask. All perfect except for their delivery service. Their website states that you can request delivery service from 11am - 7pm although a delivery driver once told me that they switched it to 11 am - 8 pm. I have ordered delivery every 3-5 days for 3 months and they take about 1 to 2 hours to arrive every single time. There was a an instance, about a month ago, they never arrived. I didnt get a call to notify me that they were going to be late or that they had to cancel because they were too busy. Today I made an order around 5:30 pm and it arrived at 8:00pm. Amazing product just not worth ordering delivery.
1st time going. Asked for a red edition stiiizy to which i received a orange one. I also got a strawberry flavor to which i did not get i got something different. They need to be more attentive to what they give you at the counter.
I enjoyed coming into this dispensary. Very modern design and it's very clean. You'll need your ID to check in at the front counter (21+), then you'll go into the room and place your order with one of the ladies behind the counter. The product is good so far and first time customers get a 5 cent preroll with purchase. Overall such a relaxing experience.
Best Dispensary on the Central Coast!Good prices, beautiful facilities, lots of parking and amazing service.If you know what you want you can get in and out in minutes. You can always go directly in to the store, never do you hVe to wait for a bud tender in a waiting room.

My fav spot on Terpy Tuesday's and Wacky Weed Wednesday. I told one budtender what I was looking for, she introduced me to some really cool brands. The place is very large and there is a lot to see. Don't worry it's not overwhelming when all the budtenders know what they are talking about.It's a must experience!
GO SOMEWHERE ELSE. be careful what you do here. the flower is dry!! hardly ever have gotten bud that wasn't dry. so much so i won't buy flower here! now o my purchase vape oil. so my husband went inside for me (i didn't have my id with me) i would have gone home but it was almost closing time and i would not have made it back. EOE rep was speaking to me in the phone and i told her i wanted a half gram. didn't think to check the bag and when i got home and opened the box it was a full gram. sunset sherbet is horrible! and now i have a full gram of it. they WONT TAKE IT BACK because the box was opened-even tho i told her i wanted a half gram. i mean F&$/ i would have gone back today. I WILL NEVER RETURN HERE. YOU SHOULD GO ELSEWHERE!! way high price for not quality bud!!

I came to East of Eden after I was given a coupon for a 5 cent preroll.It was my first time in the store and I was greeted like royalty. I was given a tour of the store by the CEO and showed all the new products. I had a lot of questions and was really taken back by the design.The store is a lot like an Apple store. You can browse around and look at and smell the items at your own leisure. As employees come available, they will approach you and take your order.It is a very smooth process and pressure-free.At a lot of other dispensaries, there will be a bud tender tending to you while you make your decision. This has been stressful for me in the past. I like how East of Eden lets you browse around at your own pace.Oh - and the prices are on point! I love that too.

I bought a 1g cartridge and battery 1 week ago here. The palm battery has a magnet that holds the cartridge in place. The magnet pulled a part of the cartridge out and it no longer works. They refused to return/ exchange it without a receipt even with my purchase on file and it's original packaging.
Terrible customer service; stood in lobby waiting for someone to assist me. I then asked if someone would help me, there were several employees standing around chatting with one another. An employee came over to help with a red shirt. As I was completing my order another employee with a black shirt came over and said she would help me. I informed her I was already being helped however, she insisted and informed me she would help. The other employee had already entered the information for my order when this employee came over insisting on helping me. I explained this is not good customer service when I have to request assistance and then get it and another employee interrupts me ordering. She looked at me as if hearing nothing and said she would take the order. I explained the other employee had already taken the order yet she ignored anything I said. I finally said I'd take my business elsewhere and her reply was have a nice day, very patronizing. Evidently East of Eden is able to let clientele go and has no interest in their service to customers. I gave it a one star rating after being treated as if I'm expendable. That's fine there's other companies I can and will patronize.
Brand new joints- fresh out of the tube wanted to check and see because last time I got joints I had a similar issue with there being less weed in some of the joints. You can see clearly that the first one has less than the others and they are all supposed to be half grams. I would not recommend the fire sale pre rolls because of the inconsistency in product.
In town for the weekend and stopped in. Was helped by Serina to get some rice krispie treats and gummies. Also got a free joint for my first visit.
Friendly staff! Walked in and was greeted right away. I had a personal shopping guide to walk me through the store and explain each product. Joshua showed me all the hot items and I received a first timers preroll for only 5 cents! It was a very big store with a wide selection of products. Good experience! Although they had a wide selection, a lot was sold out. Personally, I wasn't a big fan of the iPad ordering. I feel like I wasn't given enough space to shop and look around on my own. Just some feedback for you guys!
Editing my previous review as East of Eden reaches out to me and helped me receive my pre-roll on my next order.I love the store and the layout, and I appreciate the social distancing rules they have set up for the store.However, some of the staff there have seemed to cause quite a bit of confusion for me a couple times. One employee informed us of a current Stiizy promo going on (buy 2 full Stiizy carts for a free big Stiizy pen). When we got to the counter we were informed that this promo had ended and it wasn't the pen, it was a pre-roll that would be free.They then tried to help hook us up by calling their Moss Landing location but couldn't get through to them. They gave us Moss Landing's number for us to try later, and when we did, they said the promo was not in effect til next week.
Great Serv and very knowledgeable about the products and helped pick out new stiiizy pod, sorry I can't recall the name but had glasses and beard sports a beanie. I'm a recovering hip replacement pt and don't like the meds and the stiiizy is perfect and discreet for me. Please keep up the greAt costom services to aid folks like me in need of pain relief. Some of my family members and myself have been shopping here for awhile now, and we have recommended this dispensary to others. The staff has always been super friendly and knowledgeable, and really took the time to answer a lot of questions to help my one family member who needs certain products to help gain weight for medical purposes. I would love to give 5 stars, but unfortunately buyers need to call ahead to verify if their sale prices are accurate. I purchased products off of their early bird special 15% off only to be told no sorry those products aren't on sale even though I was looking right at their website.
OK so I have to be honest I have been here before and definitely not my thing... however I wanted to purchase a battery and it's close to stArbeez so I headed in (may I mention that even the security was super nice) right away I seen a hand waive & was approached with a smile right away I had recognize the gentleman helping me, his name was Mark. To be honest places like this are super overwhelming there's a lot going on all the iPads and stuff make it feel very iPhone Genius Bar ... you get the point. However Mark was super cool and easy to talk with and ask the important questions to get you what you're looking for and was so helpful with everything! I really appreciate when people go out of their way to get you what you need he definitely asked about the products I was looking for if he didn't know and gotten what I needed in and out of there fairly quickly. Again that is much appreciated. I utilize the services here for family members medicinally so honesty and accuracy is very important to me so again I really appreciated his help on this I hope the company takes notice that someone took their time to give this review solely based on his customer service. Thanks again for all your help today it really changed my mind about this location
I will no longer be a regular after tonight after placing my order i arrived when I walked in I was there for 10 minutes no assistance or contact so went to curb side (needed cash which is why I entered) after 25 minutes I'm told they can't find my order anywhere in system, said they could assist after caring for the rest of the vehicles which all arrived well after me. terrible customer service so tomorrow I'll use my remaining points and find a new local dispensary
Leanne went through my entire receipt showing me each product for my online order and I really appreciated how thorough she was so I didn't get home and have any surprise missing product. I wish I caught the name of the lovely lady who checked me in as a first time customer because she was also really helpful and had a cheerful attitude, which I appreciated as a confused new customer. She explained to me how it would work and let them know I was there to pick up my order. Also they have Friendly Farms vape products, which I love, so I'll be back tomorrow when there's a special! I didn't have customer service issues others have mentioned, so maybe that has been nipped in the bud. Ha, see what I did there. Anyway, great experience as a new customer.

Everybody is so welcoming! They are open early and close late everyday of the week. A bit on the pricey side but it is the experience, variety and building. Also love curbside :)
I'm a local who enjoys the benefits of this wonderful dispensary. Staff are polite and kind, products are reasonably priced, and it has an upbeat and positive atmosphere. Alexis and Paul are always the most helpful and nice to me ☺️ From February, it will most likely be open as early as 6 am, and I believe those who work night shifts may reap the benefit of the new hours.
