Reef is OK there top shelf is nice just pricey which in this day and age is expected. Very nice store. Very clean very professional very dmsafe good security.  Love having a beautiful building like this on 8 mile.

best place to go to, products smell and smoke good. was referred by a friend before deciding to go here and have not regretted it.

My favorite dispensary! Good bud, best deals in town, and great staff. I haven't found one dispensary that could match their prices on oil cartridges, or that had better deals on top shelf strains. I recommend The Reef to every fellow patient I know!

One of the best clinics in Detroit. I go 15-20 mins out of my way to go here. The interior of the design of this place is amazing, the security and parking was nice, the staff was amazing, my bud tender knew everything and was thoughtful and let me take my time, prices were super cheap and the bud was still good, they have an off menu menu and it's amazing. Good selection of concentrates and edibles, but I haven't bought any of that from reef yet. Their prerolls looked good and it didn't look like they rolled with any below average flower like many other dispensaries do. They have good deals, and if you donate $100+, you get to spin the wheel and win a preroll or something of that nature. I'll be back here soon.

Was good for a while. I was signed up to receive the daily text messages but stopped receiving them abruptly. Tried to call to register in order to make online orders and when I got ahold of someone I was put on hold. I should mention that the phone was just set down and not actually placed on hold. For about 5 min I heard the receptionist talking to customers and staff in the background so I hung up and tried again later. The phone was left off of the hook for the entire day. Then, I placed an online order for one single item at 3:45 pm and showed up at about 6:30. Upon arrival I see the pickup window is closed down and I'm told I have to go and sit by the door. Then I'm called back and everyone's confused and checking my cards numerous times. I was told no one got my order together and there wasn't a single person in line when I walked in. So after 5 minutes of standing in one spot by the door awkwardly they bring me to a station to complete my order. By that time I've stated that this was a big inconvenience and very unprofessional of the staff and was ignored twice. So being annoyed I ask to see a different item than what I was originally going to get and I was told I'd have to walk back out and get back in line when I was never in line in the first place. With the exception of about 3, A lot of staff are bland and don't seem happy to be working there and the receptionist with dreadlocks and piercings is always high. Will not be back!Should also add that staff have withheld promotional gifts and don't go out of the way to get you your money's worth for anything. They up-sell bad products and lie about things they use themselves to get you to spend your money.

Very disappointed with this business. Go to the far west or green mile instead. I went to a 420 party there (first time) I entered in some raffles. I was called saying I had won. When I went in I was informed the prize had been accidentally given to someone else. But was promised a gift bag. They are 30 miles away from me so after going in twice and numerous calls, I was told that they could not do anything for me. I even got a call after doing a bad review on them with more empty promises. Lots of other businesses that won't screw you around, don't waste you time or $$ here

This place is Great.This was my first time going here. The wait to check in was not long. They were very friendly. My Bud tender Veronica was very nice and helpful. Had A lot to choose from! I will definitely be going back!

New card holder, just visited here. Greeted at the door by and absolute thug. Did this self-important jerk just come back from being a mercenary.Don't spend your money there! Went next door to the Green Mile, and everyone was great! Saved the day!

The Reef is a quality medical marijuana dispensary. It's one of the few stand-alone dispensaries in Detroit that offers full-service and all products. If you're looking for deal a good place to start is here. This family is well-known and the medical marijuana Market since they are some of the first to have started up a dispensary back in 2010. They also are very active in the Michigan medical marijuana legalization fight because quite recently they joined with other large dispensaries and organizations in sponsoring a recreational medical marijuana bill for Michigan. We try to visit them as much as possible when we are looking for medication. They do testing of their stock. They stock a great selection of leaf. They're extract collection is exemplary. They have the best vape cartridge selection in the city. Friendly knowledgeable budtenders and the best sales ever delivered right to your phone every day. They have events regularly so if you sign up they will be sure to keep you notified to come in and get the freebies which are always tasty by the way. Say hi to my girl Danielle and she will surely do you right.

Nice budtenders. Lots of variety in flower and wax. Tons of Sponsors and Deals all summer. Great rustic look, very clean. Sometimes is rushed, but is busy also......prices are good, and deals are best around.Thanks Reef.

I have been going to The reef on and off for about a year or 2, I can't think of one time I was disappointed, the flower is always top notch but then again I'm a top-shelf guy LOL.Went in yesterday and was shocked to see almost nothing on the shelves, I picked up the very last and I do mean last half ounce of Purple Punch... Let me tell you it is some of the most POTENT marijuana I've had in a while, I recommend anything from High Life Farms, I have never been disappointed this s*** is absolute fire!!! If you can find purple punch from high life farms I suggest you get it... The most frost coated buds I've seen in quite some time, almost looked fake but let me assure you it is not! I hope to see The reef with their shelves stocked again very nice place, friendly, clean, in and out.

After visiting the same dispensary for years, I decided to try out "The Reef" The facility is super cool and loungy. Cozy couches, food network playing on numerous flat screens. They were BUSY, with a security guard. I didn't wait long at all, considering the Amt. of people in the waiting area.My "bud tender" (forgive me for not remembering his name) met me at the door and welcomed me. Such a nice, soft spoken guy. And he wasn't pushy in any way shape or form. He knew his shit and was really nice! They seemed to have much more product inventory than my last place. Great selection, clean and everyone is super nice. They also have "first time guest deals"I will be back

What a fantastic store! All of the staff members were very kind and welcoming. They had great deals and very good prices. The menu was huge! Everything was organized very well and I loved the flow of it!A very clean facility with awesome safety protocols. Will definitely go back here!

I previously went to the Reno location and was helped by Steele. ( I believe that was his name) He provided the best experience for someone that is not from the area. I highly recommend coming here and visiting the man Steele. Store is very organized and clean!

Marcus and Zak were extremely helpful and made sure that we were taken care of. The inventory in here was fantastic and some amazing deals. I don't always come to Detroit but when I do this will be a definite stop every time. Thanks for the amazing service!

I've been going to The Reef for a couple of years and have always been so happy with their service! I've been to a number of shops in the area but this place will always be my favorite. I've yet to find a better spot! Also their delivery service is truly a blessing, shout-out to Jamie for my recent delivery ????

I love it here! Always super friendly and helpful. Products hold quality. And the fish tank is an awesome extra bonus! I love it. Beautiful artwork as well. ☺️
