Great selection, purchased a 1g joint of red rocket for $15  20% off the sweet farm cookies, friendly and knowledgeable staff.

I love this store, feels like home, the staff is so friendly & knowledgable. Landon is an excellent manager, always happy & sweet. Great quality goods & huge variety. Best store around.

This place was in a perfect spot off the main strip in Boulder. We were just in the area for eating and drinking and stumbled upon this spot. The employees were nice and helpful. They answered all of our questions and let us look at several choices. Stop by if you're in the area. They have great prices with several grades at different price levels.

I absolutely love this dispensary! The staff are genuinely interested in you. I highly recommend them.

Growing up in the 60s and 70s, I never thought I'd see the day weed was 100% legal for recreational use.  So, when I visited Colorado, I was very curious about it and wanted to support their newly-passed law legalizing marijuana for recreational use.We stopped in several shops, but they were all just selling "medicinal" weed (you needed a card to get it).  We finally found Village Green Society, which sold recreational.This was a great store.  SUPER cute little house right off the main shopping drag in Boulder.  The guy was SO nice.  You enter the shop, but the interior door was locked.  The guy took our driver licenses to make sure we were of age (you HAVE to be 21).  After checking our licenses, he buzzed us in.  The then explained the law, and what you could and could not do (you canNOT just walk around the street smoking a joint).  He then explained all the different types of weed - he had pre-rolled joints, edibles, and everything you could ask for.  The price for legal weed is not cheap, because there is a 20% tax on it.  But, 1 joint (a fat one) was only $12 - not bad.  The one we got was Purple Kush.  There are different prices for different grades.  I think the law requires that the joint is put into a medicine bottle with a child-proof lid, because that's what the guy put it in.I highly (pardon the pun) recommend this pot store.  The employees are SO nice and very knowledgable about the laws and their products.  I was happy we found this shop.  It was an enlightening experience.And, congratulations to the state of Colorado for being so progressive!!

love this place, the wait is nothing and their greens are fantastic. Their Matanuska TF is the best strain i've ever found - literally.Their grower is a PhD biologist of some sort.My go to jam whenever in Boulder - really special greens. Support local biz.

This was the first dispensary I've ever been to! Had a great experience. They're very organized and clean and super professional. Chill employees and definitely know their stuff! I got one of the ZootBlasts (cannabis infused energy shot) and it was good; don't think I got really energized but I felt a little of the cannabis. The weed we got was amazing though lol If I'm in the area again, I'll be sure to come by! Side note: Zoots is an amazing product and they need to sell more of it! :)

My favorite by far - great spot in Boulder. Super nice people and selection, and very laid-back atmosphere. They treat returning customers well, and I've never had to wait long.

Great place, great people! Very friendly and helpful staff and very professional and knowledgable. Great flowers, "mid shelf" product was still top notch in frostiness, smell, and overall performance, just rated "less quality" due to THC content numbers. Would highly recommend!

The first time my boyfriend and I came in, we were greeted by a very friendly gentleman who was extremely helpful. We came in again, a couple of weeks later, he greeted us again and remembered exactly who were we immediately, welcoming us back in. This place has great prices on shake - $20 including tax for an eighth - not too bad considering some of the other prices I've seen in Boulder County. While this place is located in the downtown area, and it's hard to find parking downtown, they have a convenient 3 car parking lot for customers. We will be back!

Great store! Staff was super informative and helpful and friendly. This was my first visit to such an establishment, and I had a great experience. Nice location near the busy Pearl Street Mall. Highly (pun absolutely intended!) recommended.

As a newbie to the industry, I walked into the store feeling uncomfortable and awkward. However, thanks to Ellen's warmth and honesty, I felt right at home within 5 minutes of being there. She was friendly, down-to-earth and talked to me frankly about some of the highs and lows that come along with being an inexperienced smoker and made me feel comfortable and even enthusiastic about my purchase. I will gladly buy from this store again next time we find ourselves in Boulder!

Every other dispensary in the area sucks compared to the village green. They are the only ones for me! My wife and I love the employees, the vibe and the prices, can't beat it.

While I was in Boulder visiting my elderly parents my mother (91) mentioned that she thought some marijuana might help with the pain in her joints. After getting over my initial surprise I consulted Yelp (can't do without it these days) and I read all of Village Green Society's positive reviews. Talking to the employees there felt more like consulting a specialist MD than just purchasing some wacky tabaccy. I explained my mom's symptoms in detail and was pointed toward some salve, some lotion, and some "brownies". Either the pain is greatly reduced or she doesn't notice it nearly as much. Either way, we're both happy with the results. This is a great place for a "first timer" to come and browse.

I came in last week looking for a pain mgmt strain for the days leading up to my wisdom teeth removal. The CBD strain suggested (Cannatonic I think?) was PERFECT. Your bud tender was very helpful, and the strain does not get me too 'high' but certainly alleviates a lot of my aching gums! Not that I would smoke at work, but I probably could as the high is super manageable, and not overpowering at all. Really really happy. Thank you so much.

The Village Green Society is in a beautiful older house 1 block off Pearl Street.  From the moment I walked through, the staff was really helpful and made me feel comfortable.  I couldn't believe my eyes when I saw the dispensary room!  There were so many strains to choose from and the staff let me smell as many as I wanted to and took the time to answer every question I had.  They are also going to offer massage soon - I can't wait until they do!  This place has everything a girl could want....

Best dispensary in Boulder! Landon and his team members are knowledgeable and they have the best variety of smokeables and edibles in town! Love the vape pens and candies. There's never as long wait and the service couldn't be friendlier!

Loved the name, loved the location.  Not a big fan of the anteroom with the plexiglass window through which you pass licenses- felt kind of shady.  But understandable.  The store itself is pretty small- didn't feel like a lot of selection.  The guy working seemed a little disinterested and probably high, but he was competent.

Friendly place, but their product quality is very poor. Bought some "Sour Kush" that the budtender raved about. It was assayed at 34% THC and cost me $170 for a 1/4 oz ($680 per ounce!). If I smoke half a joint of it, I get somewhat high, but it's not any better than the stuff that was smuggled across the Tijuana border 40 years ago and sold for 10 bucks a bag.  Very disappointing and expensive.

I love this place! Nicest people working here - always greet you with a smile. Wonderful, top quality product offerings. They stand behind the products they sell and get the top quality products across the spectrum. They run daily deals here which is always nice to stumble upon when it lines up with what you're looking for. They also have a stealth parking lot behind their shop on Spruce - which comes in handy during the busy hours. Love this spot and hope it keeps doing great business!!

The place is really easy to access and cute. A few things made the experience okay, rather than wonderful, even though this may have been a one off (apparently one of the bud tenders had taken a break and it got busy then).1) We came into a room and waited with no idea what was going on. Apparently, you only go in the store room itself with a bud tender, but there were no signs to that so it was not clear what we were in the waiting room for. MAKE A SIGN SO newbies know what is going on.2) Budtender was nice -- if a bit anxious or hurried and unfamiliar with prices -- and I asked for a specific product, and walked out with something different. (muscle freeze cream and got a muscle freeze roll on--a big disappointment for a $60+ purchase).3) Sparse options in the way of CBD flower. 1 option with moderately high THC -- so NOT your stop if you are looking for non-psychoactive flower.

First time ever in a dispensary and it was the perfect experience. I was in town on business and was staying a couple blocks away and figured, hey why not...The woman at the counter was incredibly helpful, steered me to exactly what I was looking for and I'll definitely return the next time I'm in Boulder.

Village Green Society is one of the OG Boulder dispensaries and they're still in the same location with the same vibe. The receptionist was delightful, the budtender was helpful, and we got good weed for good prices. If I'm downtown and looking for something, VGS is where I will go every time.

Extremely friendly, helpful bud-tenders that actually take their time to focus on your specific needs and questions. I never feel rushed through and all of my questions are addressed with care. The house that it's in is also very cozy and cute! Stop in for the whole experience and good flower selections!

This dispensary is awesome! Decided when I came back to boulder to try a new place, and since I had my furbabies (two huskies that needed to feel that great cold Colorado weather)with me and they're pet friendly, I was able to bring them inside! They also gave them a snack while helping us purchase our items! Will definitely come back when I visit again!P.S. They're Matanuska Thunder F*Ck was great!!

This place is a must stop if you're passing through boulder. Bought a bag of mango gummies and ate them on the way back to Colorado Springs. I was higher than an eagles titty and got the munchies so I ate more. Giving this place 5 really really high stars

Awful staff with phony attitudes. Small shop that feels more trailer than a dispensary. Confusing and dull menus that are scattered to the point where finding a product you want is nearly impossible.

One of the best cannabis stores in Boulder, and that's saying something. Friendly bud tenders, good weekly deals and all their product is soil grown with no chemicals (last time I checked). Only place I shop, highly recommended.

Couldn't snag any photos inside, but this place was one of my favorite dispensaries in Colorado. The environment is warm and welcoming, the location of the shop is in this really cute and quaint part of Boulder, surrounding by beautiful bushes and trees, and Mary—the woman who helped us, had the best personality!! Super knowledgeable, sweet, and just a totally kickass woman. Highly recommend visiting—and more specifically visiting and asking for Mary.

The prices seem ok and the location is cute but picking up a mobile order is the most uncomfortable experience I’ve ever had buying from a dispensary. I have never experienced a dispensary who takes your money at the door, pops into another room without explanation, then pops out of another door and just leaves your order and change on the table IN THE FOYER. I’m really curious what’s going on in their showroom that customers can’t see. There are definitely more sophisticated operations with similar pricing, so if you don’t enjoy feeling like your in the middle of an oddly shady drug deal when you’re buying your products legally, I’d recommend staying away.
