I have been a faithful customer for years but think this will be my last visit. :( I have enjoyed the high quality strains but the wait is HORRIBLE and now big turn over of staff, so it takes even longer (long waits the last few visits). Today was over a 40 minute wait, when it was my turn, the strain I wanted wasn't available because it was an old menu, forgot to add my phone number so no "customer" points, and I was told next time I could order online if i dont like the system. So much for a quick weed run at 2pm on a Thursday. Maybe you need more than 2 budtenders and some training for new staff....

Quality has gone down the drain over the past 4 years. That, coupled with a high amount of turnover, have made both recreational and medical Terrapin a much less pleasurable experience. The Folsom location in particular seems very touristy, always crowded. You're going to pay top of the line price for weed that's clearly inferior to other dispensaries in this price point.

Sub par service. They accepted my ID a week ago which was slightly cut(a friend cut it with scissors like an idiot), and I tried to go in today with it and they wouldn't accept it. Unprofessional on their part, I would have brought my passport.

my wife my daughter and myself stop by the Turpin shop on Folsom Street this afternoon I stepped inside notice they were extremely busy and decided I was going to go somewhere else. While we were in the parking lot waiting for Maps to load up on her phone to find another location the green haired lady from behind the front desk came out and asked us if we were going to come in. I replied as busy as you are guys are no I'm going to a new location. She then told me that we had to leave the parking lot because my two-month-old daughter was there in the parking lot. You have officially lost a valued customer I will never return to any of your locations.

The staff is trash. Uneducated, rude, and just an overall bad vibe. H.ardly even decent weed.

Staff is too high to do their job... I called for curbside pick up they didn't tell me only take debit card. I waited 45 minutes once I got there after placing my order. They tell me I have to go inside to pay in cash which would be an hour wait.

Well, I had to drag myself to the laundromat today before I had to start sniff testing socks to wear and discovered there is a dispensary right next door. Oh, and it's payday so you KNOW where this is going...Anyway, during the dryer-cycle, I went next door to check out Terrapin Care Station.  The atmosphere is comfy - the staff professional-casual and friendly - and they have a pretty wide variety of product and prices.  I got a kick ass deal on something I have only heard of here in Colorado - Grapefruit Durban.Smells great and can definitely taste the grapefruit and am loving the zippy little 80/20 sativa-dominant buzz.  Just hoping the 20% indica side kicks in when I'm ready for bed.Stay lifted my friends

Subpar quality products. Nothing I've ever had from there over the years was of note. I get very creepy vibes from the owner and some staff.

The worst in boulder, pretentious and rude, my id had a small crack in it and the guard broke it and said nobody would accept it but I had literally just come from the airport and flown in from California.   Not cool.

DC drivers license was rejected because it's "not a state" - yeah, we're working on that, but in the meantime it's a valid proof of identity anywhere in the country.Waste of time.  Go elsewhere.

Terrapin is a great place to get your green. I visited them first when I was looking at places to move into for grad school, and they were incredibly helpful and pleasant. After moving to Boulder, I visit them about every week or so, and it's always a good time. The budtenders are super friendly and chill, always have good suggestions, and always help me get a good deal. I recommend their buy 1/16th of top shelf and get 1/16th of the budtender's choice for free (usually you can pick out whatever you want, the budtenders are chill about picking the free one). This is a wonderfully run business. They can help you out with learning Colorado's laws, as well as details about consuming for newbies. There's always a variety of people in the waiting room, and they seem to have the nicest security guards in the world. You can also order online and pick up in-store, which is great. And if you have any questions, call them up because they are so stoked to help you out. P.S. My favorite budtender is Jessie, he's extra sweet.

Love this place. The bud tenders are always really nice and friendly, also the prices seem to be the best in Boulder. Definitely use their app if you don't want to wait in line! Only thing that kind of sucks is it's a very popular place so some things sell out quickly.

This place has some really good deals.. it can also get very crowded. Unless you know exactly what you are getting the customer service usually is lacking a little bit. Overall a solid store and a local favorite.

The only reason I give this one star is because I find the security guard to be rude and I only come here when it's a last resort. He makes me not want to ever come here ever.

TERRIBLE! The ABSOLUTE worst dispensary I've visited in CO. You're met at the door by a total jerk meathead ARMED guard wannabe cop who barks at you to "get your ID's out!" No polite greeting, nothing. I felt like I was being questioned by police. After checking the ID he barked at my friends and I to move inside. Things just got worse from there. You walk into the budroom and the staff starts yelling at you to put your phone away, claiming "it's the law" that you can't have your phone out. That's a complete falsehood and to patronize your customers by lying to them like that is abhorrent. After challenging them on whether that STORE POLICY was in fact a law I was kicked out of the dispensary. What an absolute joke. The place is known for terrible but cheap weed but take my advice and visit one of the many other excellent stores in Boulder. HORRIBLE

You have a tall, dark eyes, Latin security guard who use to be a cop working there. He makes myself and other women coming in and out of this location uncomfortable. He also has a history of being a type of predator which you can google.

I had an awesome experience visiting Terrapin today. I was serviced by the almighty and wonderful James, he took care of me quite well and I appreciate the time he took in making sure this Momma got the best bang for her buck. The wait was a little long, I also came in on a day that shatter was 10% off and this a little bit before the holidays so that wasn't a big deal at all. I felt like they were trying to get people through as fast as they could while still providing excellent customer service. The security guard was somewhat disgruntled and did not appreciate me trying to put a smile on his face but I'm sure he had a very long day of dealing with idiot college kids.All in all I left very happy and will be back the next time I need some mojta in Boulder!

Always go to terrapin for my concentrates. They always have a huge selection and good prices. Staff is extremely friendly and can always count on an easy visit.

Details!! Handing out empty containers?!? Stopped in to buy a few pre-rolls. Opened the first one and empty!! With so many choices why would anyone come back?

They haven't had co2 oil syringes in 2 weeks. I was told last week to come back today and they still don't have co2 oil, now they're saying they don't know if it's going to be 1 week or 5 weeks before they have anymore. If you can't keep the shelves stocked with the things I want then why should I ever go back to your store? I had a similar problem when you guys stopped carrying cartridges. To Terrapin's credit they do offer the lowest price for co2 so I can understand the popularity, but seriously, I am so sick of coming into your store and leaving disappointed.

I have been going to this Terrapin location for about 15-16 months at this point (ever since I was first told about it) because as far as I'm aware it is cheapest dispensary in Boulder, but it's always shown and this place has also been steadily going downhill ever since then. Their service and product quality has steadily declined as the lines have gotten longer. For quite awhile now it's felt like some kind of Wal-Mart of Weed, but I've put up with it because quite frankly I'm poor and it's still a lot higher quality stuff than I was getting when I lived under prohibition. Today though, they managed to completely ruin not only my birthday, but my entire weekend, and their reputation with me as well. They have (maybe had; I don't know if they've canceled it, due to this issue) a deal where you get a 1G pre-rolled joint for $0.01 on your birthday and they also have a "420 Club" where for every $420.00 you spend, you get $42.00 off your next $50.00 or more purchase. Also, after 7PM you get 10% off on most products. Since I'm thrifty, it was after 7PM on my birthday, and I intentionally had reached my $420 worth of spending on my last purchase I planned to get my 1G pre-roll, a 5G pack of pre-rolls, and a couple grams of wax for somewhere around $15. I figured that'd be good for my poor ass to have a decent enough 25th birthday just chilling at home just getting high since quite frankly and unfortunately I'm a lonely, friendless asshole. Unfortunately for me though, they decided to randomly start enforcing some ridiculous (and most likely made up) rule about not accepting cracked IDs. (They've accepted my cracked ID numerous times in the past since it's been cracked for literally several months.) Even worse they didn't turn me away at the door, the security guard looked at my ID, SCANNED IT(!!!!!!!!!), accepted it, and let me sit in the extremely busy waiting room for about 20-25 minutes, then when it was almost finally my turn the manager decided to "notice" the crack and have the security guard tell me I have to leave and come back with a passport (which my poor ass certainly doesn't have) or a new ID which would take at least 3 days (and probably money I don't have) to get. No "Happy Birthday," or anything, basically, just a "Sorry, but screw you." Common sense tells me that this was a poor and dishonest excuse to not give me the deal that they know that they'd be losing money on, and/or to cut down on the line that a lot of people were clearly growing sick of, because the ID was obviously not fake since they returned it to me and IT SCANNED!!! There is literally not a single other business in Boulder, or the world, that has refused to accept my cracked ID. In fact right after leaving I went to Hazel's and bought a fifth of whiskey to drink the memory of this depressing birthday away. Thus why I'm now spending the last few hours of this terrible day writing this angry drunken review. So in summary...FUCK TERRAPIN, GO JUST A FEW BLOCKS AWAY TO "FRESH BAKED" FOR SERVICE AND PRODUCTS THAT ARE AT LEAST TWICE AS GOOD FOR VERY COMPARABLE PRICES. YOU'LL NOTICE THEY HAVE A MUCH BETTER RATING, NOT JUST ON HERE BUT ON LITERALLY EVERY REVIEW SITE!!!

First dispensary experience. Friendly knowledgeable staff that answers all your questions and gives you good direction. The products are also great.

I been there a couple times just because is close to my house. Prices are high the bud is not the best. Today I tried going again with my greecard. My legal document that states I'm a legal resident on this country. The guy at the door couldn't have been more racist and inappropriate in front of all the customers waiting. Really made me feel like shit. I just wanted to go and spend my money there but instead he just literally escort me out. There should b a training manual and a requirement on customer service, there is ways to address things and not just think you are god bc you r in charge of the door. Smh so disappointed of this place. I'll make sure nobody that I know goes there.

Very upset to leave a one star review on terrapin, my boyfriend and I have been coming here for 2 years we drive all the way from Fort Collins because we love it so much. Tonight was absolutely ridiculous, they advertise their business hours from 8:00am-10:00pm on the front of their building. So we got there at 9:25 tonight, my boyfriend went in while I was in the car he said they had to try three different machines because they were down and weren't taking his card (not declining the card, THEIR MACHINES wouldn't work, not our problem) they tell him he has 8 minutes to get back there with cash because they close at 9:45?! So we speed around town to find an ATM get our money and get back there at 9:47. TWO MINUTES late. We try the doors and they're locked and the guy at the front says "sorry we already locked our doors" yeah no shit Sherlock, unlock them! After trying to communicate with the front and getting no reasonable response I flipped them off out of pure frustration and the security guard did the same glad to know you care about the level of professionalism in your employees. Disappointed that your false business hours cost us 90 miles on the road and three hours of wasted time, not to mention you lost a $160 sale.

Awesome selections, prices and staff who know all about the product! I love visiting this shop so much it's now become my go-to dispensary. Even though it's out of the way and I pass 3 other shops to get here; it's always well worth it! Concentrates are incredible! Thanks guys!

Starting to become more and more disappointed. I visit about every week or two and this last time, there was a huge leaf in my half eighth which shows me that there's no quality control. The flowers are dryer each time I go and they stopped labeling indica or sativa and I got both so I spent the whole day drowsy and down instead of up and happy by misusing my buds. Not good guys.

Used to be good. Prices go up and down now. They don't label indica or sativa anymore. The bud-tenders don't even look or talk to you anymore. They basically just ask what ya want? I get better service at the DMV, who also uses the same method of checking you in. I will say this. I switched to a Boulder Wellness Center for rec. There bud is way better, about the same price give or take a dollar or two. They also have the very best customer service. Deff do take advantage of this shops care, and helpful staff at some point if in Boulder. :)

Saturday 3pm this people is rude the guy on from have no customer service skills the girl skipped a customer to pass a friend the security guy make comments about my shirt, and if you complain they kick you out , no more of my money for this people no respect to loyal customers, btw the same top self for long time, low quality buds

Disappointed to have to write this, as I have been coming to Terrapin for years. The quality in general has gone down of late, no variety on CO2 oil, same strains for months at a time. But that's not why I'm writing this review. My girlfriend bought CO2 oil a couple days ago from here and one of the syringes had improperly purged oil, it splattered when I tried to take a dab and landed on my face (not pleasant). They didn't help her when she tried to return it, so I called in as she is less confrontational than I am. I was told that by law they can't do returns or exchanges and at best I can get 15% off next time. I can't continue to do business with an establishment that screws up and won't try to make it right. Buyer beware. Open to recommendations for other establishments.

Thanks to the competition, I found three better priced stores, this Terripin regular customer is free of a thug dealer type operation, no insight to the service attitude!

The weed is absolute trash. We had our bud tender show us 10+ strains and every single one had the distinct odors of stale, dusty, moldy, sour ass dirt. Not a single strain smelled like weed.dont waste your time. This place is a joke. Always super busy, not much selection. Trash products and quality. WE BOUGHT WEED AND FELT SICK FOR THE REST OF THE DAY AFTER SMOKING IT. NOT A GOOD TOO HIGH SICKNESS BUT ZERO HIGH AND ALL NAUSEUA AND HEADACHES

I don't know if it was a problem with my phone or Terrapin website. The confirm order button would not respond, no fields were empty, I ordered (I thought) twice. When I arrived at curbside pick-up, the employee checked my ID, ran my debit card, and returned with "my order". I got home and saw it was not my order. I called to alert Folsom store what had happened and was told some would be right there to greet me. After waiting a while, I went into the store to complete transaction. I was told there was no record of my order (shouldn't they have known this from my ID ?) I payed for someone else's order. Policy prevents Terrapin from refunding or exchanging anything. I was offered "some kind of discount" but definitely not the amount I paid for the WRONG ORDER. When I said that this was not going to satisfy me at all, the employee asked if we could finish the conversation outside. I followed him out but the front desk guy decided to follow us outside to tell me to "Calm Down". If you are dealing with someone who is upset, customer or otherwise, demanding that they "cam down" is not only dismissing any validity and is sickeningly condescending. Unless I receive better compensation for "their mistake", I'll look into making a fraud claim with my bank.Christmas is not a great time to tie up someone's money when it is your fault.

I came here because my usual spot was out of the oil I like to see what they have. I asked the tender about CO2 cartridges and that I specifically didn't want butane. The tender didn't know - so he asked the manager - who then told both of us that all their cartridges are CO2 extractions. I was happy and purchased two different kinds. After paying and getting to my car - I get my first glimpse of the products - and the house cartridge (the one they make) uses butane solvent. I went right back in with my receipt thinking they would let me exchange it. One of the employees comes back with me after speaking with the manager who said they won't do exchanges or refunds. So sucks for you. The manager made a mistake and I have to suffer? That's not how customer service works!I'll never come back to this spot - the quality of the products that I bought is not that good. There are tons of good spots in Boulder w/ nice management that cares. Highly recommend the Village Green Society (16th / spruce) and Helping Hands (10th/pearl) both. Super nice people - who definitely won't dick you over like Terrapin Station - and a much better product offering (from oil standpoint without question). So yeah - Terrapin Station doesn't give a shit about their customers so what does that say about their product!

We have been coming to Boulder for many years and have always visited this place. Just now we had the most awful experience, as my husband put it to the staff at the door, "we were just made to feel like criminals." We are both nearly 60 yrs old and have never had such an awful experience. We will find somewhere else to patronize from now on.

Prices just went up NEARLY 60% on CONCENTRATES! 8 pack was $111.52 OTD & now its $178.00. So incredibly disappointing.

The ambiance is nonexistent; the waiting room feels like a waiting room for a doctor. The sales floor is tiny and the selection is slim.  I also felt the conversation was forced rather than genuine.

Quality continues to decline as prices stay the same.  Used to be my go-to spot because of the deals, but other dispensaries have superior products for less money.I would skip unless you are in the area, the location is pretty convenient.

I used to love this place for the 8 gram Deal they had with their in house sugars. Now they only have a deal where you get 8 grams but can only pick from a select few of their "honey buckets" most of the time dry crumbly wax. And the buckets are 2 grams so you only get to pick 4 strains instead of 8 from a much smaller menu. Go to Magnolia Road and get yourself something there. Terrapin is overpriced and underwhelming.

Been my go to spot since coming back to Boulder. Always a consist product for a great price. Today's purchase was above and beyond that! Fresh as it gets! Thanks guys

I used to shop at the Folsom location in Boulder. Then this location opened and some of my favorite staff members from the boulder store came here! Always decent product with decent pricing and staff that is very helpful and not condescending as most Bud tenders can be. Do yourself a favor and give this place a shot!

Y'all need better trimmers...we smoke an Oz a week and came to buy yesterday, but once again they open the container to show us and the bud tender even said ignore the stem. Like seriously no one wants to by an Oz and have an 1/8th of stems. Just sucks cause y'all are nice.

I am very disappointed in the shatter carried by Terrapin.I first heard of them as a fantastic source of shatter, with users stating they could by DoubleBear shatter in the 80 or 90% of THC.But twice this week, I've called and they only have ONE THC shatter, and it's 68% THC.The excuse was, the others sell out fast. The baloney is, they make their own, and can't keep their stores stocked?Terrapin, at least the one in Longmont, does NOT live up to its rep.

Best place to buy bulk Rec. The wax was outstanding and the best price you can get outside of Denver. The flower was also great but I bought the top shelf so I can't speak for the lower stuff. For the price you can't beat this place. Now when it comes to the staff..... They are all extremely friendly and helpful. I brought my partner in the past week who is a NY resident and they had no problem answering questions and taking time to help us. They also seem to keep the store well staffed so there never seems to be a long wait.The store is set up nicely. It's always clean and they have created a nice atmosphere.

Very annoyed, I get 2:1 CBD to THC, 20mg CBD to 10mg THC but wanted to try something different in taste. Guy shows me chocolate that's 60:1. I thought ok the CBD is higher so I'll take it. Then the same with a capsule style. Get it home and it's 60:1, if I ate the whole damn package the total THC would be 1mg. They don't know what they are doing, I'm not a pro and that's why I asked for help and this is what I get.  Going back to Medicine Man.

Wouldn't accept me or my friends ID because we are from out of state. Was excited to spend money there along with two of our friends who live in the area but instead we all walked out. The only place in town that hasn't accepted my ID since i've been here.

Terepin is one  of the newer shops in town and  although I am medical user , I wanted to stop in, welcome them and check them out. I will say I was extremely impressed. The staff was all friendly and knowledgeable. Adam was our budtender and he was a hoot! Tarapin has a very good variety  of edibles and their flower inventory offered many options  as well. The prices are very good, and by all means take a look at the daily deals because there are some good ones!  The store is clean and bright, parking is good andit is right across from Dairy Queen! Who could ask for mo

Super rude. They rush you and don't even guide you on the products. Very disappointed. Front desk is rude and not kind. Never will I go back. Do not shop here.

I used to be a loyal customer. Till they switched up their loyalty program and charged me full price this last time was just that.

Fair prices, good space and location, but figuring out what they have is hard.  They don't have a menu.  And the online menu menu doesn't not include THC amounts.  They give you the high number but the low number could be 30% less THC.  Seems dishonest to the customers. If your only going to put one number why not only use the low end number?  Adam is cool.  Taylor is too.  Brian is fun.  Some of the staff can be very short if you have to ask them about THC levels.  I hate shopping here but I like the weed and prices.  I started just buying the oil because I cant stand to be mistreated when I have a few simple questions.Cool place just wish they told you about the ganja online to see if I want to shop there.  If they start putting the information needed on the menu the lines will go a lot quicker and could reduce your work force.  I would be pissed if this was my business with too many hardily working during the slower hours. But then again if it was my place I would know how to manage a simple menu

Terrible customer service. I walked in first time in and the security guard was examining my Oregon ID and looking me up and down just because it's an out of state ID. It was very unwelcoming. They call me back and the girl helping me was very condescending. I was buying a cool sacred geometry sweatshirt for my boyfriend for a birthday coming up and that was the mainly the only reason I went in. Then I started  to ask questions about their selection because I had never been there and am fairly new to the Colorado cannabis scene. She accused me of trying to buy for my boyfriend who wasn't there with me and who is a medical patient! She said we can lose our license for you talking about buying something for someone else. Chick I was talking about buying a sweatshirt for him not anything else!! Stupid. I was just asking about their selection and she was accusing me. I wanted to say maybe you should stop assuming and listen to your Customer instead of hearing something and making your Customer seem like a criminal. Assuming is the first problem she had. After that I was like I don't even want to buy anything from you guys except the sweatshirt. Hell I was debating on even taking the sweatshirt back after I bought it. I don't  even want to represent a company that makes you feel that uncomfortable when trying to buy your meds. Don't go here if you have an out of state ID they pretty much treat you like shit. I will probably never go back. Their bud isn't even on display either!

I saw a bunch of bad reviews of recent so I figured I might chime in. I disagree. The top shelf flower is actually quite good, I've always been treated with respect, been offered the locals discount for being local, and definitely leave happy. The prices on quarters are super reasonable so if you're the type that likes to come in and get a quarter or more of one thing, it's definitely an ideal spot for that too. I stop in here every month or two and generally stick to the top shelf flower. My only gripe is the willie Nelson specials are always too dry and lose their smell. Nothing special IMHO on that end. Overall great dispensary for Boulder.

This place is the worst I've ever been in all of Colorado. What happened to helping the customer find the right product and helping one decide? All I received was an unwelcoming treatment and felt like the employee was not happy to be there. There are many other places who are happy to serve customers and meet their needs. Went to another dispensary with friendly staff.

How much is the 129 oz after tax? Mississippi and havana location never been but always wanted to try it out

These cats rock. The rec side of this is beautiful. A quad out the door for 42 and some change is epic. The fact you can scoop it up by the 1/16 is even better. I'll gladly make the drive.

My friend and I went here on a Friday night.  My friend had just replaced ID, so she had a paper one.  As soon as we walked in an employee at the door said that she cannot come in.  We understood, so we started talking with each other and the employee about the different forms of ID my friend could use instead.  Then a second employee who never spoke with us before started yelling at us, "You don't have any ID, then you need to leave. Goodbye!" We were shocked at his rude behavior and tried telling this second employee that we were about to leave, but he kept condescendly yelling at us, "Goodbye. Have a nice night. GOODBYE!"We left the shop and stood on the street outside, talking about whether we wanted to go back to my friends place and get her passport.  A friend of ours then came by asked us why we were standing outside. We told him what happened and then he left. Then another man walked up to us and asked what was wrong.  I told him nothing was wrong inside, my friend just has a paper ID, but he should go inside and buy whatever he wants.  He told us he was the manager and then we told him what happened inside with both of his employees. He told us that refusing customers with paper IDs is standard policy.  We said the we understand that policy, but the behavior of the second employee was completely uncalled for.  The manager then started making excuses about how the shop has been targeted by cops for stings, how he runs a good business, and they do this to customers all the time.  We never heard an apology for the rude behavior.Then the manager told us we can not stand in front of the shop and complain about their service to other customers. We told him that the previous customer we talked to was a friend of ours and we never stopped any other customers from going inside. The manager did not listen, and just repeated that we cannot complain about the shop because "it makes our business look bad".  This was the worst customer service my friend and I have ever experienced at this place. If a manager has to troll outside the building and tell customers how good his business, that probably is a sign he's not running a good business in the first place. Between the unacceptable behavior from the second employee inside the shop and the excuses and lack of remorse about his employee's behavior from the manager, they have permently lost two customers from this night.

I used to love shopping here but in the last year I think that the management has gone down hill. Not in the way that they manage but the way that they treat people. I have been shopping here for more than 3 years and the managers would do anything to make me happy if they didn't have something that I specifically came in for they would do everything in there power for find me something else and if it was more expensive than I wanted to spend they would throw me a little discount to help me because they understand that people are on a budget and that people also work and don't have all the time in the world to make a special trip to boulder to get the medication that they need. That's why I kept shopping!  But unfortunately tonight when I came in the wait was so so so bad I waited almost 20 minutes to be checked in and I only come once a month to get my ounce of shake and only to be told that they don't have any... They said that they have the 100.00 ounce I don't have time to come back I am very busy. They refused to give me any kind of discount and didn't even talk to me. I am so sad that my favorite place to shop at has turned into a place like this especially for boulder.

I always go to mississippi location and have over 400 dollars on my account. This location does not partipate in the program and the latino security guard is a complete asshole. You need to.get rid of him before he kills someone, you can tell he's ichting to use his gun; I pray to god he never becomes a real police officer.

Trendy TerrapinI'm an edible & vape kinna gal and the Terrapin rec location off of Folsom is descent for those two things. What brought me in was the pricing I saw for them on Weed Maps. Cost was better then any other rec place in the area (at the time) and thought to give them a shot with the girls. We got there just in time, around opening @ 10:30am, and there wasn't any wait which was nice since the line can get a little long. We drove past twice during the day while on our Boulder-Day-Trippin' ;) It was packed around lunch and mid-afternoon making this place a popular spot for locals and college students.I can't say much for their buds since I wasn't there for that but their eddie selection left me wanting more- we literally went to another spot for tasty THC filled treats. If your into candies & chocolate type goodies, they have a few legit ones to choose from here. I did scope out a vape pen they sell and quickly glanced at the waxes which was cool. I did appreciate the set up where you view products, purchase, and generally deal with your budtender. It was very efficient and has a professional look & layout. The waiting area could use a little more love, in my opinion. Security has a solid presence for everyone's safety and the staff was knowledgeable & friendly. Our tender even told me not to tip when I left some money out for his services which caught me off guard. Just FYI, they charge for the container(s) needed to walk off with your purchase. They are reusable though, so save them to go green and save some green too.All-in-all, I'd say that Terrapin has a lot of things going for them & their customers.

Came into the Care Station after hearing about the "great shaturday deals" and left thoroughly disappointed. I bought an extra gram because I read the "15% off first gram" for oil so I couldn't resist. When I got my receipt however I found I got their normal, everyday oil breakdown. After asking the tender helping me she told me "that's only for one gram of oil" and laughed at me with the security guard as I left. Will not be returning, product isn't good enough to put up with bad service.

This place is VERY efficient and friendly. Great product and they have THE BEST PRICES in Boulder. They have "out the door" prices posted and they DO NOT charge extra for the container or bag. As a 30 yr resident of Boulder County, graduate of Boulder High and Alumni of C.U., I can honestly say that this the THE BEST dispensary in Boulder.

I "helped" by a person name Tybrit.  To say the least he possessed every skill you wouldn't want in customer service.  Didn't answer questions, seemed frustrated that I wanted to see what I was purchasing, and frankly was just rude.  To say the least return business will be going to the farm.

This was only my second time in a pot shop but it was bigger and had better selection than the other one. I was not thrilled with the flavor of sour watermelon candies because once sour coating is off it just tastes like weedy candy. Liquid tincture is cool because you can very carefully measure your dosage with its dropper.

Very friendly, awesome application interface lets you see before you buy, then order for pick up if your certain you know what you want. Cool lounge area with good music if you end up wanting to go in & browse. Helpful counter & front desk staff of you have questions or are new to rec/med buying procedures. Rarely you get an attendant who doesn't know what their talking about, everyone is new once, don't be a jerk just ask for another attendants opinion. This is not an issue I have here necessarily but see at various other locations. Terrapin is one of the better locations in Boulder in my opinion, however the higher volume increases the time you have to wait in line & some people suck to wait in line with. If you think you know what your talking about Download the app, order for pickup. Everyone is happy.

Don't advertise things you don't have!!! Drove way out of my way for a deal you guys have advertised everywhere including inside the store!!! Ended up spending so much more money than I planned because I already drove too far to go somewhere else. Not impressed at all. All the employees were like "yeah sorry not sure why we still have that up on our walls and on weed deal sites. Like you're a big enough company stay on top of it. I honestly wish I could just return it this is stupid. Never been impressed with their weed so the Med side better be better!!!!!

Worst retail shop in Boulder County. Rude and condescending staff mixed with product quality that really just screams cash grab in every sense. They rake it in while offering little value to their customers. This was my 3rd and final visit, the final straw besides the expected terrible customer service, was a syringe of co2 oil that didn't even have a fine tip. Impossible to use to fill up a pen cartridge. Avoid at all costs, despite their purchased excellent reviews on weedmaps.

Worst customer service on the planet. This shop continues to go downhill and I should know as I've shopped here for FOUR years. I actually left yesterday without making a purchase because the customer service SUCKED. The guy helping me was actually wearing slippers and seriously looked like he hadn't bathed in days. I asked him why and he said he was 'chillin'. They refused to give me the deal they've always given me and neither the slipper-man or the manager on duty could have given a ****. The store advertises that it offers ounce specials  ... really? Well, guess what? 'The Wife' is the only deal they've had going for months. For those of us on a budget, we need deals on sativa, indica AND cbd; not just cbd and whatever else you can scrounge up. I'm going to try Green Tree Medicinals as my new caregiver. Terrapin is now in my rearview mirror along with Kenny, Gary and Savannah and the gang ... employees who actually cared about helping those of us in need.

This WAS my go-to place for medical and rec. Since they have completed the renovation, everything has gone down hill. The customer service has gone from great and friendly, to untrained,  ill-informed, and rude. They pre-package all of they flower now, and i suspect it is so they can push the tiny little buds they have. My last day was yesterday, I asked to look at 3 different strains, all of which turned out to be popcorn and shake. I asked if that was on sale since it was small and shakey, she said it was great product and the bud size shouldn't matter....WTF. I then asked if she could look up the Terpene levels on 2 concentrates. She didnt know what terpenes were. and said it was too much work to get info on something that doesnt really matter anyway. Give me a break... Honestly, this place used to be a friendly neighborhood option with knowledgeable staff. Now that they have pumped money in for the renovation, they are hiring cheap labor. They also streamlined the whole process to "make it a better experience for the customer". When in reality all they have done is created a structure to maximize profits at the cost of good service and product. Don't go here, there are so many other options that are incredible that this place shouldn't be on your list.

When I tell you this place is shit, believe me. I bought two carts and they were both almost empty when I opened the packages. Every single time I buy carts from this place, the product is pretty much empty and burnt. Shit products, shit staff, shit dispo. The staff doesn't know what they're talking about, and they're FILTHY. If your a health inspector reading this, I'm snitching and this place deserves an F. If you're a stoner reading this, I'm gonna be real with you and say spend your money somewhere else this place is not worth it.

I will definitely be going here again I like the fact that they have recreational and medical at the same spot.  The staff was very friendly and letting us know about the deals they had for the day. They took the time to answer all of our questions. The only thing I didn't like was the parking it was a bit confusing and hard to find a parking spot.

The customer service here is awesome! I was there on a Saturday afternoon and, despite the huge crowd, the guy behind the desk was accommodating and patient with everyone and any questions they had. I believe the budtender who helped me was named Joe and he was super friendly, knowledgeable, and cute...which, on the real, does not hurt. I highly recommend the monkey bars, if you're into edibles. I just felt the need to take off a star for the following reasons:-The flavoring in some of the hard candies wears off very quickly and can leave you with a funky taste.-It can be very very crowded...but at the same time it's understandable.-They really need more space/seating available in the waiting area. -It would be good if they had more descriptive menus.

I've always loved coming here. They have a great deal I take advantage of, when recently the price on it dropped even more! The people are always nice. A great variety of everything. Not to mention their frequent customer service plan means I get a huge discount every few visits! I've visited quite a few dispensaries and Terrapin is by far the best. Highly recommended.

This dispensary is garbage. On the off chance they aren't randomly closed for no apparent reason aside from hiring shit employees who can't be bothered to show up, you'll be lucky if they have what you're looking for in stock. Double Bear concentrates? Good luck! They're happy to advertise it on Weedmaps, yet it's almost guaranteed they will be "out of stock" when you arrive. It doesn't matter if you're the first customer of the day or the last. The employees will be unapologetic about this and be quite rude when you ask them to price-match with a different in-stock concentrate (the common expected customer service practice). There's a lot of places to buy weed. More dispensaries in the Denver area than Starbucks. You don't have to settle for a dispensary run by inexperienced dropout teens.

I have been into this business several times and I've had some fantastic experiences! the last two times I've ended up with budtenders wanting to make a sale regardless if the customer is interested in the product they are offering they were out of what I wanted I wish I had gotten first budtenders name! I asked the second one for his name, and he told me he didn't have to give it to me so I asked the person at the front desk! Austin came out and said my name is Austin like the city! He told me that I could take my business elsewhere!  I asked for a supervisor,  hthe name I was given was Wesley S with a bogus email (it bounced back) I went on the website and contacted the corporate office now I'm on social media

If you are buying rec, this is the place to buy.  The waiting area is clean and security is always friendly.  The wait times are short, if any.  They have a good selection and helpful staff.  Mostly.  Alright there's this one budtender who I have gotten the last two times I have gone.  I want to tell her that the 90s are over and she should smile.  But she's too cool to be happy or to speak in multisyllabic words or to bother to know which of the concentrates are sativas and which are indicas.  Which is really important and really easy, since there's only like 6 on the menu.  Which is a fine number to have on the menu, but it's not that much to remember.  The other budtenders seem happy and outgoing.  I just don't get them.  I get surly girl every time.  It's 2017; it's okay to engage with the world.

Been going there for a while now. Recently they upped the prices on most of there products. Also, they no longer have any concentrates. Been there last two weeks to see empty shelves. The two strains they had on hand looked absolutely awful. Honestly, they had some decent stuff a few months ago, now its a full diaper load!!! Thanks Terrapin Care Station for making the industry look like garbage.

Great shop! They have great customer service, helpful bud tenders, good selection, and it has still been the cheapest place I've been to. I walked out with two eighths of different bud as well as a gram of shatter for less than 80 dollars. Terrapin is my favorite dispensary by far.

A couple of buddies and I went to Denver and the first place we hit was this dispensary place!! :-) :-) :-) :-) it was awesome!!! Wall to wall stuff edibles galore!!! The gentleman helping us was very helpful and very knowledgeable with the items for sale.  Let's just say the items we bought kept us really chilled out during our stay in Denver!!! I would definitely come back to this place!!!

After a year of decent service and great product today is the last day I'll be going to Terrapin Care Station. They have digressed completely from what they used to be and after a year of service my wife's chauffeur license was turned away by some new kid and new management out of blatant ignorance. It's disappointing how crowded and unprofessional they've become. Such is life.

They don't give clear statements about there anonymous 2.75 charge that they tax onto them rounding up ur dollars when u use a debit card. So for instance my purchase was 14.89 .... I spent hours looking at my statement trying to find the purchase .... but low and behold I get a charge from Terrapin for 17.75 so I'm wondering like what is going on.... I go there the next day and speak to a manager she tells me so they rounded my purchase to 15.00 give me the rest of the change but the credit or debit company they use charges 2.75 on top of that lol oh really then she tells me it's on the pin pad but they take ur card and swipe it and never mention the fee..... Long story short Use cash or else u will be feeling bamboozled. Quality was off also compared to the other companies in the Area smh sad felt like I wasted money there total spent $60 bucks :( .......update just checked my statement and they actually charge an extra 2.50 on top of the 2.50 they already charged its a separate charge on my statement. I'm certainly thinking about disputing those charges.... This place is a total Scam........

I had an issue with a visit to Terrapin on 33rd, but I have to say they have been exceptional in handling my complaint. How often can you say that ? I had been there a few times and liked the place and the merch, so I was disappointed when I left last time wondering if I should go back. This time was more to my expectations ;-) It's nice to be a welcome customer.

I love this place! I've been to a handful of spots all over town trying to find 'my place' and I can confidently say this is it. Fast and friendly service (don't let the waiting room fool you) and the best price to quality ratio I've experienced here in Denver. I've been ripped off and treated poorly at other places, so discovering Terrapin was refreshing. Bonus: you can pay with your debit card.

I have to say I always have been impressed with terrapin care station. They are always friendly and helpful, the place is well lit and clean and it is just a good atmosphere. Some places can be overwhelming or I feel pressured with lines but I never have a problem checking out the different strains and the tenders give good advice. They still have a good variety of strains for every price too so you don't feel gouged when a place "only has top strains". I definitely recommend Terrapin Station for bud as well as the Grateful Dead album.

Robert was my budtender tonight and he showed me that all employees here treat people with the most respect possible. Love this place and the quality of their staff and bud. Went here to buy a high CBD strain to help with anxiety. The tender was very friendly and helpful. I told her that I recently got a medical marijuana card and was looking to join a membership somewhere. Because I was recently diagnosed with a brain tumor, I have rights to 34 plants. She wasn't sure where I would be able to get the best deal for signing away my rights for that many plants, so she called her friend over. He came over and in the most pompous way said "Oh, so you have a high plant count too huh? You've got 34? I've got 36!" Yeah, okay. And I have a brain tumor. Thanks dude. "Yeah, you're not gonna get any deals just because you have more plants, maybe if you were earlier in on the scene". Rude. Unhelpful. Pompous.

Loyal customer and I Love this dispensary. Now that they started growing their own weed the prices are better than they used to be! Also there is never a long wait which is nice.

I can't praise Terrapin more highly on any aspect of their business: their phone service was excellent (they are one of the few shops in Boulder to sell to out of state residents); they are extremely kind, informed, and helpful; and their product is excellent. For those interested in edibles, try the jewel hard candies. They taste fantastic and come with a special surprise an hour later!I honestly could not rate this shop more highly (lame pun not intended).P.S. INCONSISTENT!! If you want happy, repeat customers (as we have been, since moving here a year ago), KEEP YOUR POLICIES CONSISTENT!As we know, residents of Aurora/Colorado get an amazing discount, so supporting a local business with a LOCAL ID should be perfectly normal, right? Apparently not!?! A few months ago, while MY driver's license was being changed to CO, all I had to do was present my out-of-state license & temporary CO license--no problem at all! My husband went today with the EXACT same out-of-state license & temp license & the security guard told him that he now cannot support our favorite shop by purchasing ANYTHING until his new license arrives?!?! We will be looking for a new shop that appreciates loyal customers. KEEP YOUR POLICIES THE SAME! Way to make something fun & relaxing into something FAR more stressful & complicated! Very disappointing.

Been buying here for years... this issue never happened to me before. I've bought 8 grams here nearly everytime I come in atleast once a week, for years. I come in, buy an 8 pack. All the grams come in individual packages, when I get home, one of the packages is empty. I call the store and let them know and I get "since you left the store, there's really nothing we can do"... after years of purchasing it just kind of got to me that they'd think I'm trying to get over on 1 gram, when I buy 8 a week. Just on GP I had to find my concentrates elsewhere. Oh well. Point of the review is make sure you check your packages before you leave the store, and make sure you got what you paid for cause they don't have quality control enough to make sure they're not selling empty packages. I wasn't going to leave a review but decided people need to know who they're dealing with. Just can't support people who steal.

Dislike patronizing this shop but they are the only one in walking distance. Budtenders are all young and cool and almost invariably indifferent if not downright rude. Getting answers was like pulling teeth; questions seemed to annoy (never had a female tender, but the guys are extremely unfriendly and uninformative.) Apparently they don't like waiting on dowdy old ladies. If you are a novice or old, and can drive, go elsewhere. Selection isn't great either.

The staff was rude. I reviewed them on Facebook and they deleted the comment the next day so I'm here now. My sister and I were treated so horribly by one of the staff that we will never spend money there again. The staff needs customer service training. The rules for curbside pickup are not clear when you arrive on site and they hate answering questions.

Bud tenders have horrible attitudes not very friendly . Its like you're buying off the street again with these guys cause they want you to hurry up choose and go .

Staff is nice but needs to get with 2020, me and my fiancé are regulars here and they told him to get a Legal virtual ID and when we went back to use it they said they don't accept it. They are constantly out of the specials when I come after I get texts. I wish I could still buy weed here but I'm just done.

I had driven by this place numerous times and never noticed it was there even though it's huge. Excellent customer service and great prices. I doubt I will go to a different dispensary ever again. The "security" guy at the front was a bit awkward and unwelcoming, but overall a great experience.

Would give 0 stars if I could. Everyone I encountered had a horrible attitude, not interesting in helping anybody, and was not nice at all. I understand people having bad days but this did not appear to be the case. By the way in case you were wanting to buy that $99 oz's of wax that are listed on the website don't be surprised like me when you only get 8 grams of wax because it "equals an ounce in bud". Well, if you didn't advertise it to be 28 grams of wax rather than 8 grams maybe people wouldn't be surprised. Wax was also dry and will likely go bad before I can even smoke it all.

Walked in to this place and there was no one behind the counter. The security guard was snarky and rude when he asked for my ID as I was confused because I didn't see any employees in the front area. He literally made an effort to embarrass me in front of the other customers. I thought about grabbing my ID back and walking out but I decided to give them a try as this was my first visit. The budtender seemed like he didn't want to deal with me and made a half ass effort to help me make my purchase. I have never been treated so poorly at a dispensary before. All this place has going for them is cheap flower.

This recreational clinic was awesome.  The staff extremely helpful, friendly, knowledgeable.  They were ready to give recommendations, answer all of my questions (being from another state, new to dosing, etc)  They moved me in and out pretty fast, never a wait the couple of times I went here on my recent vacation to Denver.  The prices are also very reasonable compared to other clinics I visited in the Denver area.

I went to the Denver location on Broadway with two others and the security guard was on a power trip. I been previous to this visit and did not have an issue. This time however the guard told me he could not accept my out of state ID because it did not show my age; which it did, and that it had temporary stamped on it; which is because I was on a visa at the time I got my license. He then told me his boss told him that I had to stand outside in the heat while I wait on my party.

So... if you bring your injured turtle here, they can not help. Does terrapin mean something other than turtles?

Rude short and run tons of fake adds on fake deals. When you call and show up they "ran out" and can't give any discounts military included "on top of that".  What ever "on top of that" means???? I'm surprised at the lack of integrity.  I would do a much better job running a dispensary then 99% of the people that brown nosed their way into the corporate end of this sketchy industry.

I have a valid  Florida ID, but it's slightly bent. The security guard put a light up to it and said light passed through when none did at all. And I'm not even sure what that even means, after all I did get to Colorado with the same ID....... Clearly the security guard was on a power trip. Employees are friendly, but store policies are unaccommodating to say the least. I called ahead to ask if they had a certain amount of a certain product, and was told they had plenty. The only reason I came was to get a special offer, which they didn't have enough product for. When I asked if I could get what they had left, discounted to the rate of the offer, I was told no, and that I would have to pay full price. Will not return to store.

This place sells tane soup  concentrates.   It tastes so bad.  Your product is fucking nasty double bear sucks.    You have cheap prices oil because it's  dirty oill.  Leaves black residue in nail at low temps.  Tastes like butane only and makes me have head aches.    I give this zero stars  but I can't your flower is old and dry and is very harsh.      Don't go to this location the  the. Staff is very rude and pushes you out the door.    Plus they don't do medical discounts.   Hopefully you remember the only reason  cannabis is legal.   It's a medicine! You just greedy assholes!

Manager asked me to leave thinking my ID was fake. Understandable, I look young and I hear it "looks" fake all the time. That's fine, what ISN"T ok is asking me to leave, I come back to get the corporate info to deal with my rewards, you telling me I can have it if I wait outside for the cops to come, they do, give me a notice of trespass at your request and you still refuse to give me corporate's information. Not all care stations are this bad. Another was eager to give me corporate info to solve the situation. You should be ashamed of yourself. 0 Stars if possible.

Yet another "fake" state issued ID story. Worst place ever. Accepted my state ID for months to suddenly "not recognizing" my state issued ID. Never going back. Do not waste your time going here.

It's really disappointing that this business does not care about customers. I've been going to this dispensary for about a year now and about 90% of the time I go in the evening as my work schedule doesn't allow me to go any earlier. Well apparently if you don't go early enough, they sell out. This is very frustrating for a customer who spends a lot of money there. I spoke with Raul, there supervisor on duty, who basically couldn't explain why they're always out of shatter in the evenings. I explained how I thought it was unfair to customers who can only make it in the evening. His body language told me he didn't care what I was saying. I asked him if there was anything he could do for me and he told me no and he suggested that I call ahead. I suggested maybe they should update their menu on Weedmaps. Horrible customer service and rude staff.

Not the best location but it was nice that there were only two other people in there on a Saturday night. The budtender I had was super friendly and answered all my questions. Fairly priced and they take debit cards. The high cbd flower they have is nice for someone not looking to get super high. The best dispensary I've been to yet on this side of town.

ZERO STARS. BEWARE their credit/debit machine. It will flag your account as fraudulent use and render your bank card useless until you get with your bank. We called to let them know there was a problem with their credit system. They acted like it wasn't their problem. The MORON manager on duty that day even suggested our debit card "went haywire" sometime in the 10 minutes between using it at the gas station with no problem, and using it there. Yeah, sure dude. ABSOLUTELY the most UNPROFESSIONAL people I have ever dealt with. I realize you work at a dispensary, but can you try to not be so stoned you can't even deal with your clientele or have an iota of what customer service is?Long story short, we spent our money at Medicine Man instead. It's not like there isn't another dispensary on every freakin corner when the one you like pisses you off.

Can't use reward points at any location except for the original place you got them from. What a joke. Don't waste your time or gas driving over here if you use the Mississippi location regularly or vise versa. Definitely gonna start branching out and buying from other dispensaries cause all the small BS that Terrapin keeps dishing out is getting old.

Rad Dispensary in the SoBo district of Colorado. Awesome name calling back to the Grateful Dead's Terrapin Station album which immediately won me over.Head inside super clean waiting room, greeted right as we walked in by a friendly front desk representative who explained everything to us since we are from out of town.Sat down and scoped out the menu while waiting be called in, waited maybe two minutes until I was called back. Cozy back area with all the products organized and clean, felt at home immediately and our sales associate explained what they had to offer and what her favorite strains were. We decided to go with a 1/4 of Princess Leia and a dope "Weed Loves You" beanie for a collective amount of $57.88 after all said and done.Went home and sampled the product which left me with an ear to ear Cheshire grin. If you're in the area and need some meds stop into Terrapin Care Station and you'll be in great hands.

Christian who is the manager is such ana amazing energy to encounter when you are inside. I enjoy the customer service, especially from the tall woman with curly hair, i think (Bree) was her name who knows how to work the front of the house like magic. Dry harsh buds. Not sticky. No kief on the flower. Better than anyone else I've found in the area but that doesn't say much because the competition doesn't set the bar very high. Half the container is stems. And the stupid big ass containers alll measured out at 1/8th each is sooooo wasteful.

I have many driving past this store , thinking it was a pet store.I surprised when I realized it was a dispensary.The staff was friendly and accommodating, they allowed my personal audience to assist me inside. For employment reasons she didn't want her identification entered i to a system. Staff understood and helped me. Luckily , it was a steady flow of customers and not extremely busy; sometimes the parking lot is full.The gummieshere are priced about 7 dollars cheaper and work just as well.There is a discount if you live in the city as well?, this is the first place, I encountered that offered this discount.I will definitely be back

This Terrapin Care Station is one of the best I have been to. Not just for the quality of the products that they provide from flower to concentrates, but you know you’re going to have a great customer service experience as well. The staff at this Manhattan station have always been so kind and friendly and I love bringing friends and family to this dispo for an awesome experience ?????? always 10/10 recommended here by me

I've been going here almost exclusively for over a year. Hannalee has educated myself and everyone else I've witnessed come through about not only the products they offer but products not yet released.
