This place has a female employee that, I believe, descrimnated against me due to my race/skin tone. Two of my friends and I went in to check out there special for an oz. We were let in and let the budtender know what we would like. I asked a simple question about the percentage of cbd and thc for one of the strains and she was extremely rude and said it was on the bag, but I was asking how to interpret the numbers since I hadn't been there before. So I got my $60 and I asked how much  it was out the door and I was told I was going to be short. One of my friends bought his item and I asked my friend if I could borrow a few dollars and he said yeah. She then proceed to tell us we couldn't do that. So said I could go use an atm and come back and I said I would do that and come back and she said ok. I also told the security guard that I would be back with more money. I returned back with the enough money and then they told me that due to "some circumstance" that they couldn't serve me, even though they had told me what I had to do. So I'm confused why she was friendly with my friend, who is of the white skin tone, and I of a darker native American color was treated rudely and then unfairly. This was appalling to say the least.

RACIST! Refused to take my native friends money, made him get cash out of the atm only to refuse to serve him at all and then made him go. Yet they were nice and plesent to me. We were both first timers and have never been kicked out of any dispensaries. My friend also never retaliated or responded rudly. Will be reporting this to the authorities.

Takes a few minutes longer than it should, but the best prices in town when buying ounces as a member! Only 102 out the door.

The recreational side of MJ America is great other than the fact that they run out of bud and sometimes it's dry but the med side is fucking terrible the workers are so stoned they create positions for themselves one guy said he was the manager and you could tell he was full of shit and then tried to offer me a free joint because I called him on it. Like I'm not usually someone that analyzes my interactions with people but like when I go to a medical dispensary I expect a higher quality interaction then when I got in the one that I got was so poor that it literally infuriated me.

Months ago when their recreational store was being audited and it was closed for the week they were giving out coupons to make up for the inconvenience. A few days later they decided they gave out too many and refused to honor them. I feel like this dispensary will say anything to get you to walk in the door on the assumption that since you are already there you will buy something. The problem isn't any of the workers as they are all very nice, professional and don't look super stoned.  The problem I think lies with ownership/ management

wish i could give 0 stars, awful wait time, awful selection, rude people, and racist, wouldn't even serve my friend after making him spend money to get cash out of the atm. Awful establishment, clear why they have such awful reviews.

I've purchased marijuana several times here on the recreational side, and most of the budtenders are ok. Today I called in and spoke with Mark, who answered a few of my questions at first, but rudely hung up on me after refusing to answer what the THC percentage on the Tora Bora strain is. I found this very rude considering it's a relevant question when purchasing marijuana, and is probably readily, easily available info. Another reviewer said that they'll do anything to get you into the door, and this is true; instead of answering my question, Mark said "come down and take a look" before abruptly hanging up. Another point is that they refuse to honor coupons. Mark told me that a 25% off high thc strains coupon on Cannasaver.com-dated for today- wasn't valid because they bought too many high thc strains, so thus they canceled the promotion on a whim (neglecting to take down the coupon from Cannasaver.com).I'll be taking my business elsewhere considering the lack of transparency in mmj America Boulder.As far as the product goes: it's ok bud for the prices. The wax Wednesday is a good deal.

So, I was in the store on a Monday morning and not really expecting to find the gem of a bud tender, named Mark. Or Marc, maybe. Either way, it was my favorite experience anywhere. I was taken care of by a very knowledgeable and respectful handsome man. He enjoyed my company, I could tell, and wanted me to know exactly what it was that I was interested in. Every other time in this dispo or another, I'm finding that mostly what I think I need is not that of which the professional believes I need for my anxiety/stress issues. It has always seemed more about what they need to push on me to make their money or act like know-it-alls. Its either that, or its some stoner who forgets 3 times what we're talking about.I really dont do reviews about the industry...or anywhere really but felt that this Marc fella should be the rule, not the exception. Unknowledgeable staff combined with dirt weed. Pearl streets finest. Had a coupon for 35 quarter, dude rung me up for 38$ plus 10 dollars in tax. Wasn't willing to make it right either. Bud is stored in vacuum sealed bags that must leak air because it is dry as dirt. Smoked better quality in high school. There's a reason they advertise cheap deals on cannasaver. BUYER BEWARE!

We are visiting from the Southeast , so this experience is something we have been excited about. I don't mind waiting especially when a patient is being helped, but we waited for close to 20 minutes and they didn't even have a patient. They were watching a tv show on their phone when we walked in and they weren't very helpful. I suffer from deep anxiety and they knew very minimal about the product. I mentioned terpenes and they acted like I was crazy. Asked about consistency of concentRate they had and didn't seem to understand that either. We got the vibe we were an inconvenience. Won't be coming here again. Plus their herb was beyond tiny and they had maybe 3 indica options but lots of sativa.

I went for the first time because of location. But I love this place. You get points every time you stop in. And I love the staff! Always friendly! Even security. Thank you!

UPDATE:::::If you're driving through Colorado, super psyched about buying legal weed, DO NOT DRIVE THROUGH UTAH AFTER. 7 days at their finest bed and breakfast in San Juan County and a near FELONY taught me that. Other than that- I still stand by my review that the boulder location is better. The first location I went to in Denver, was underwhelming to say the least. The salesperson inside seemed bored and like she wasn't interested in talking to me about the product. With that being said... Ashely at the MMJ in Boulder was AMAZING. Very informative, very nice, and very welcoming. Recommended great stuff that she had personal experiences with and made sure I was happy at the end of my purchases. O would absolutely recommend this location over the Denver one

This place used to be great for members, but unfortunately I won't be returning. I believe the management has changed somehow, or just gotten really screwed up. Professionalism is completely gone. I was once offered free weed for a good google review, and I'm not comfortable with things like that. This shop used to be very nice for medical, but there are other locations in Boulder that are more comfortable. I have even heard from girlfriend in one of my classes that she was hit on while she was there by the guys who were stoned! I almost didn't believe it till I went last week and the woman behind the counter was so stoned herself she could barely help me. I'm so disappointed in MMJ America. Girls like to feel safe, not targeted! So long, MMJ.

The vibe leaves me wanting, though the quality does not. The door guy for checking IDs when I was in last is alright, the gal behind the counter, polite, and answered the small number of questions easily, check out was pretty slow, and I think she might've been new to working that type of register.. Been quite a while since I was in there last, but it almost exactly seems to be the same other than different strains and some item change over.. I read another comment that said it feels like a doctors office, and I definitely agree that it has that "sterilized" affect inside. Could liven the place up a bit, though it is very 'clean' and the quality of the product is the one reason I consider it befitting. $62 and some change for an ounce, after tax is quite good and the flavor? ?

MMJ has some of the best prices as well as quality product. Mark often helps me and he is always very polite and very knowledgeable about the products in the store as well as general cannabis knowledge. Their flower and concentrates are always on point. Will return for more.

Can't say enough about the bud tenders and staff at MMJ recreational. All the employees I have met are genuine, caring and quite knowledgeable of the industry. They sell great strains and have some solid prices in comparison to other shops in the area. Marc, a middle aged bud tender, has been particularly helpful and kind to me. He loves to spark a conversation about the product I am buying , teaching and explaining ways to get the most out of my product. Marc will keep me coming in until I graduate!

Awesome dispensary. Great location and friendly staff. Prices were excellent!!!
