Amazing staff and great product. Zane was very helpful and knew everything down to the science of the product!
Great place!! Good prices and an enormous selection of quality product. The bud tender knew their stuff and was very patient with helping me choose just the right buzz I was going for. AWESOME!!
Really cool budristas. Super friendly and knowledgable.A bit on the pricier side though. I guess when you're in Bellevue. Convenient with their own parking lot. And learned something new: indica = in the couch.
As a proud advocate for all things cannabis, I couldn't wait to lose my dispensary virginity while visiting Seattle! My brother in law brought me here to Green Theory, and the experience was first class from jump street. The budtender who assisted us was incredible. They are all so knowledgable of everything regarding this miracle plant, like an Apple employee is in their respective field. There is nothing sketchy about it and everyone is very professional. Great spot.-Bean
The Factoria store is 0.3 miles away from my home. However, recently had a terrible experience, being racially profiled by a budtender (white women) who've helped me on numerous occasions. This is what happened... 1. Walked into Green Theory, stood in line.2. While in the middle of helping another customer, the women budtender looks my way and pretty much yells across the store "We can't serve you, you need to leave"3. I'm confused because I'm at my " friendly community dispensary (until your black ass fits the description) where I go to more than i should throughout the week.4. It took me a while to realize she was serious, so I confirmed more out of confusion and the need for clarity on her angry demeanor toward me. 5. To show me she was serious she states "Yes, do you want me to get my manager" in which I replied yes.5. She gets the manager Evan, he ask me to step outside. Walking outside of the store as customers and the vendor (oh yeah it's vendor day) looks my way like I'm just another black criminal.6. When the manager Evan's begins to tell me "you were in the store with your child earlier" I'm caught off guard because I don't have children, and I work during the day and I'm a regular customer here like wtf is going on here. 7. At this point I'm livid, humiliated, disappointed and despite it all still holding my composure with grace.8. As Evan and myself step back inside to address the budtender who mistaken my identity. She looks my way as Evan let her know she had the wrong person and her response / last words to me was "Oh you both look just alike"Let's point out some facts, I was the only black women in the store, while a white women is accusing me of something I didn't do.I don't think she realizes how dangerous and powerful and destructive her shrug of the shoulder every black women looks the same assumptions are in a society where racism and systemic racism toward the black collective identity has led to cultural unrest, prejudice, and even loss of lives. The sad part is while she probably moved on with her life I now have to carry and bare the weight of a stranger and experience I have to carry the weight of. Do I switch dispensary locations for her white comfort/ actions?Yes, I've reached out to the store in search of the Corp office / Gab and no luck only empty promises of we'll handle it (what does that even mean?)I did speak with the head of security at Higher Leaf (because I would never want anyone to experience what happened to me) He listened, even suggesting the budtender must of been scared and responded off impose. ( how many unjust actions have been handed to the black community due to a white women supposedly scared) as if my black live doesn't have feelings or emotions / wasn't scared. He also suggested / referred to my experience as being profiled leaving off the racial part (maybe for his own comfort or probably just doesn't give a flip) because according to him "All lives matter" However in the store that day all lives were not racially profiled. Only my black life. Which draws to another issue color blind perspectives, which restrict the truth of spoken stories, and this restriction isolates some White Americans in comfortable distance to protect them from recognizing racial inequalities in society. Such denial fosters inaction such as "we'll handle it, what does that mean?" which subconsciously contributes to preserving racism and the privileges many Whites gain from the current american systemsSo since Gab probably will never follow up with me, I'll utilize the platform provided to share my truth. My truth is that I am someone's daughter. I am someone's sister. I am someone's friend. I am someone's auntie. But I am also a black woman, and "my being black shapes my experiences, and so if you are not attuned to that part of my being that is race, then it's very difficult for you to understand and respond to my humanity.
I used to come here a lot. I bought 8 joints for a pretty good deal, and was excited about it. Came home to realize it had tobacco in it. It didn't even smell like weed just smelled like pine cons. Not cool. Won't be coming back.
Truly a disappointment in service. As a medical patient, my need for cannabis is not recreational. As someone who frequents this location regularly, I can say that the staff is friendly, but the manager (Simone) is lacking in customer facing ability. Regardless of whether Simone could help me or not, there was never a single moment where she actually listened to what my question was. Instead she continued to parrot store policy back to me as an answer to a question that was never asked. Sometimes, a customer would just like to be heard: here's my issue, my question is, etc. The simple act of listening, and acknowledging what you have heard (as a manager or staff member) can go a long way for customer loyalty - even if you are unable to solve the problem directly. I would recommend the Spring District location over this one, especially if you are hoping to have a human interaction where back and forth communication is necessary. Selection is often better at spring district, as is general medical knowledge.
In line 30 minutes despite being number FOUR in people bringing pets into the retail store, low selection, high prices. Updated review- The store layout has changed and the staffing has seemingly gone up. Much better
I've put off writing this 1 star review for a very long time...There are employees from the Spring District/Bel Red location that have impeccable customer service skills. It's made me apprehensive about posting my honest experiences with this Factoria location simply because I didn't want to tarnish GT's overall name...However, enough is enough...This Factoria shop has a toxic company culture that trickles down from operations to bud tenders. There must be some very thick skinned team at the Spring District/Bel Red location who manage to brush off the bullshit coming from operations, because the difference between the two shops is like night and day. I've been a customer since they first opened their original location downtown. Then they closed to split off into their two current shops. Here in Factoria, there's a skinny tall white guy named Christian who says he's been managing the shop for at least 3 years. He is the rudest person I have ever spoken to in the cannabis industry. Do not be surprised if he raises his voice and yells at you like he would his own employee. Christian just moved over to Bel Mar recently, and was caught selling to a minor for the third time in several months now facing fines. Above him is the operations manager by the name of Ari. He's a drug addict with a short temper and eyes that roll like dice. It should come as no surprise then why most of the bud tenders are never excited about coming to work. They act as if it is a chore to provide suggestions on any product, and will spend the entire time looking to up sell random stuff rather than finding what you want and need. They will also have vendors come in and pose as random bud tenders to push their own products unbeknownst to you, the consumer. Calvin and the white girl with the half sleeve were the only people who ever smiled and were helpful. It's too bad GT did not hold on to an employee such as Calvin, and allowed him to move on to another company. Even employees that I have seen at the GT in Spring District who were very cordial before, turned into bad attitudes when I saw them at the Factoria shop. I am a pretty easy going person overall. Over the years, this GT location gave me the wrong pre-rolls numerous times and refused to replace them...but issues like that don't phase me. It's the outright disrespect and argumentative attitudes from management that is unprofessional and offensive towards customers. Just look at the way Jason responded to this review. He allows GT's drama to spill over into customer relations and then puts the drama on the customer as if it's our issue to deal with. What kind of business does that???.......... On the plus side, their doors stay open til midnight. Their prices on flagship items for different growers are set close to rock bottom. There are some products that are more expensive than other nearby shops, but they will also price match. Price matching combined with their rewards system will give you the best bang for your buck on a select handful of items commonly found in most rec shops across the state- You get the lowest possible price and earn points on the purchase for future discounts. That aside, the terrible customer service over numerous occasions has been more than enough to deter me from ever setting foot in this place again. I would not recommend it for anybody, recreational or medical. There is no excuse for upper management to be constantly strung out on the job, lashing out at customers with vile short tempers. Maybe some weed might help them cool down.
Great people who are fast, knowledgeable and kind. I would easily recommend this shop to anyone from the area or visiting. Their point system is top notch.
I believe her name is Diana? She is by far the MOST professional and knowledgeable of all the associates there. She's not a stoner trying to sell me some weed, she really understands customer service! I've been to Green Theory many times and will now only go to her even if I have to wait. I'm not trying to speak badly about anyone else, but she really knows her stuff and has never steered me wrong. I always seem to spend way more money than I was planning on, but she provides me with top notch product that never ever disappoints!I heard there is a new store/stores opening in the Spring District or Factoria, if they're smart they'll bring her! As far as I'm concerned, she's an integral part of their operations!!!Oh and thank you for the chocolates! in addition to the other stuff, those are my new favorite!
By far the best shop in the area. Stopped there earlier this week and consulted with Evan A who gave excellent, knowledgeable service. This is my shop of choice in this market place.
This was my 3rd time coming to this shop. The first two were a good experience, quick service, have all the vape oil I need, and quick checkout! Don't expect friendly service! Because they WILL assume everyone coming into the shop bring a lying "unemployed" individual, even if you have an actual J.O.B! My third time there wasn't as any greater than my last two visits. Had it not been for the location is convenient, I DEFINITELY will NOT come back here. EVER! I don't know how they deal with it, but being that I thought I was a regular, really doesn't count! If you're a female shopping alone in this shop, you'll definitely get treated like shit! Had it been a male shopper, looking high as a kite & just wants to puff a dope...They'll roll out the red carpet for you! ** Yelp, please consider my review as an honest experience, by not taking it down, again! Thanks.
Best cannabis store in the area, great prices, and very friendly, patient, and knowledgeable staff. By far my favorite shop on the east side as well as in the state. Most shops in the area have staff that seem to think thc is all that matters, these guys and girls know different people have different needs, and know which strains are good for those needs.
The customer service was. The staff was Knowledgeable. Would come back on my next trip!!!
Sincerely bummed with my recent GT experiences, seeing that before their move, I used to look forward to coming in and scoring great deals and talking to awesome budtenders. Not only is the loyalty program now gone (a fact I learned after 4 visits to the new location, FWIW...), but the friendly atmosphere has disappeared as well. The staff doesn't seem as stoked to help customers out, the menu is limited and not as detailed, and frankly, the Factoria location lacks everything that made me a loyal GT member.I realize that the transition as a whole can be tricky to navigate, but after a few months, you'd think they would have it worked out. I miss my loyalty rewards, but more than anything, I miss going in and feeling welcomed. That energy and buzz the old DT location had is gone now. Hopefully things resolve themselves, but for the meantime, the Higher Leaf has roughly the same prices with friendlier staff & loyalty rewards.
Knowledgeable and helpful staffClean and open atmosphereLots of edibles and strains to choose fromConvenient location with parking availableMy only real qualm with this place is that it is seemingly more expensive than some other popular locations I go to. $8 gram Sunday's is great - however there is only one strain offered. Other places I have been offer $10 g specials but with several to choose from....which I enjoy. They do have nice variety here. Raspberry Kush for $23/g is probably my fave. Their edibles - mints, elixers, caramels, candies...all good.
I really dislike their customer service, the guy that looks like Jesus is always rude and short please upgrade customer service!
I'm Commander Schessler, and this is my favorite store on the citidel. The staff is very knowledgeable, and the selection is great!
Clean space, helpful staff. Went here while I was in WA for a week, and the employee was delighted to hear I was from NYC and was more than happy to help me! Plus, they threw in a few free goodies with my purchase + gave me 15% for being a tourist :)
Another update (BELRED BTW)....First off, the budtenders are great here. The chronic issue is in maintaining inventory. MANAGEMENT: You continue to let your customers and your Budtenders down. It is absolutely unacceptable to not keep your online menu's up to date in this day and age of technology. Your website states updates daily. It's yet again not happening. This is the third time in a week now where I've checked inventory, come in, and left either without, or drastically reduced purchase due to actual quantity not matching your web inventory. Please do one of two things: Either fix your POS to enable timely web updates like your website claims, OR remove the claim on updated inventory and let folks know the menu is a 'suggestion'. At least folks will not be disappointed.
First time in since this place opened. They have expanded parking, there is now a lot in the back of the building in addition to the few spots up front. When you enter, you have to wait in a lobby area for them to check your ID then you are able to enter. An employee approached me within a minute to help me out - I certainly appreciate basically having a personal shopper, they give good feedback and recommendations. It was rather busy when I stopped by too.I signed up for their free club, the guy said certain days there are specials and vendors in store, and in your birthday month you get 20% off.Prices have dropped considerably - check their website for their current menu of items, including deals. For those of you complaining of ATM fees, there is a sign on the counter stating so, and they tell you before you use your card how that works. So it is not like it is a secret or a hidden thing. Just pay in cash then.
Great price on an assortment of items. Customer service has always been pretty great and their point deal works out I always leave with a discount for the most part ! Thank you for the great quality green theory
This is a solid place with a friendly staff that has decent prices. Wouldn't mind a better selection with cartridges but over all one of my favorite spots in WA
Best staff and best prices on the Eastside! 5 stars all around. Thank You Green Theory!!!
Stopped by while I was in the area in Bellevue. My first time in a dispensary of any sort.Store looks nice, modern, crisp and clean. Products appeared to be good quality but prices a bit expensive. Seems to be the norm for dispensaries however.Employees were informative and very helpful. Great place to go for legal recreational green
Service is very poor. There is 4 bud tenders but no one is trying to take customers. Terrible experience.
I use to be a big fan but for the past few months this establishment has diminished big time. Specifically in their customer service. For me, the experience of shopping is just as important as the product i am there to buy. Since David left, one of their associates, its nearly impossible to find someone who can actually give me great suggestions. He was the best weed consultant i have ever had both in recreational and medical. Now, there just stoners trying to sell me weed. I have had several poor experiences including broken concentrated pen rigs in which i was turned away b/c i didnt have the packaging. The receipt wasnt good enough. They NEVER take any responsibility for anything, period. They blame the law or the customer or some other entity. Its so annoying. They also promote big for people who have Prime Cards and give a nice 10% discount. But, wait there is another hidden term, all of a sudden. I made a purchase as i always do every week, but this time they tell me my discount will not apply. Even though they told me it would, setting that expectation then going back on their word. They told me that there is a 40$ min requirement but could not show me ANYTHING in writing that says that. So, me the customer get penalized for their lack of proof. I clearly showed my frustration but they just gave me what they always give me Reasons and blame. It was nice while it lasted. But i prefer a better shopping experience not this BS.
I love Green Theory. Prices are competitive (especially the Gabriel eighths for 36$) and they price match. They've got great sales. I use a lot of cartridges and recently had to exchange another one and the manager there was very nice and fast about doing an exchange. She also price matched a Clear cartridge for me so that I could buy it for about 8$ less.Yesterday I went and got two NWCSs eighths for 40$ because they had a vendor day. What a deal. And.. they're a cash only place and Kevin who was working yesterday gave me a dollar outta his own pocket since I was short! (I didn't wanna use the high fee atm.) Unbelievable. Sooo nice. Every employee there has been nice, helpful but also fast. I love this place for the deals, employees and the selection. I LOVE the rewards system too. Glad they brought that back. Green Theory is my favorite favorite store.
Prices were great and so was customer service!I looked at the menu online ahead of time and went in with a list since I knew I wanted to pick up quite a variety. The budtender knew the stock well and quickly grabbed everything I requested.ATM onsite, and it's cash only!
Nothing but good vibes and primo product come from this joint. Large store with large selection. Staff are friendly, clean, and knowledgeable. 10 out of 10 times online menu and pricing match in store inventory. ATM in store. Competitive pricing (beats Rentons buddy's and emerald haze), online ordering, regular discount days, awesome reward system, additional text discounts- for example, last wknd, 25% off one order from Friday through Sunday!! If you're in the area or going to be driving through, trust me, it's worth the stop.
This place is crazy awesome. I walked in with not a lot of knowledge about the place itself then when I walked out, I absorbed so much knowledge about the weed industry and the products itself. I bought pre rolleds, oil and some fire marijuana. I send me regards to Chad for upending myself with product knowledge. Definitely will visit soon!
After giving this business another chance, stay away from here- just like the other reviews say. I had an issue with a leaking oil cartridge and they made me pay $2 more for a replacement, but would not give me the same strain I originally purchased. No one took responsibility and they blamed everyone else for the issue (Liberty Reach etc)I am reviewing again because I left totally dissatisfied with their complete lack of customer concern AND after reaching out to them on their website, they never even acknowledged my contact. How a business can exist where they can sell any crap they want and need not care about returns or repeat business- if I was the owner and manager, I would be ashamed at the fraud of a business they have started. So, be warned- they only want your cash (debit cards will cost you a fee that they don't tell you about) and they do not do any quality control. THAT is left to the customer. There are plenty of other stores that really do care and want your business and will earn your repeat business.
Ya, they're pretty cool. Great place to visit b4 movie at Factoria
I have been in to this business several times and usually have pretty okay experience. The prices are on the higher end, but they have some budget offerings as well. What I like most is the clean atmosphere and the variety of product. After today, though, I am altering my previous review and I likely will not be back.As with most rec places, they need to see your ID at the door. So today my buddy and I got to the door and waited a couple of minutes until the line started to grow and I observed that the customer service representative directly across from the door was just chatting to an attractive customer and not in the process of a sale. I figured it wouldn't be a horrible thing to do a polite little knock on the glass just to let him know that I was there. The other customer service representative who was actually busy then sharply says "We'll be right with you man...", which I was okay with and I did acknowledge that HE was busy. Unfortunately, he then took the opportunity to literally smack talk us to another customer, as if I couldn't hear him. "It's like...I see ya there, man. we'll get to ya, geeeeez", he mumbled.Excuse me? You got a lazy salesman leaning on the counter batting his eyes at a female customer who could have EASILY taken 1 second to let the 5 people who were waiting at the door in. Hell, even if he WAS in the middle of a sale, I'm certain that customer wouldn't have minded him saying "Excuse me one second, just let me let these people in".I'm a patient person, but I don't like being ignored on purpose and I don't like being smack talked right in front of me. I decided to bite my lip about the situation because I didn't want to cause a scene and ruin other customers' experiences in the place, but where I come from, you don't rip on a customer right in front of them even if you are bothered by their actions. Not that I actually did anything bothersome. To make it even more of a lovely experience, the guy who did open to door for me gave me the cold shoulder the rest of the time. He helped me, he said "have a nice day", but you could tell he was annoyed at us.Well, I'm really damn sorry that I bothered you, man. I just wanted to patronize your business. I think I'll be heading over to Woodinville next time. Thanks.
I'd been to the Bellevue store several times but had not been since they moved to the Factoria location. I went last week for the first time to find a tacky looking building and less than enthusiastic staff. When asking for recommendations or staff favorites, we were met with shrugs and very little feedback. Not sure if ownership changed or just staffing but they weren't excelling in customer service...at least not that day.
Went to Green Theory recently and dealt with RJ, received such stellar service I felt compelled to leave a review. First off, flower quality was great. I shop only the highest quality and freshest meds due to the severity of my symptoms, and RJ gave me 0 stress about checking every harvest date and jar in the store. He was professional, knowledgeable, and just straight cool to chat with. The manager Alex(Alec?Alex?) was also helpful and totally friendly, making the whole experience both fun and efficient! Big fan of both Green Theory locations, beyond grateful for their recent service.
Great place nice selection always friendly when I visit Seattle I visit this place it's really great customer service is through the roof
Love this place. Everyone's extremely nice, professional and goes out of their way to take care of you. Chad constantly tells me what's the new best stuff in - they have the best top shelf around. You cannot compare this shop to the others in the area, it's simply to good. Always good vibes here.
Popped in to grab some green goodies, the place had a nice environment and Kevin was very knowledgeable and kind to work with. Thank you Kevin for my fruitful blend of flavors.
I highly recommend this store. They are professional and extremely helpful. This will be my go to establishment...Large selection. Prices are competitive.
Found this to be a very positive experience overall. The security guards were very engaging and chatty while performing their duties! They made a MAJOR effort to engage with you while waiting in line outside. They also had umbrellas just in case the weather turned on you!Once inside you're personally greeted by an individual associate, Kevin was my guy, and he walked me through the shop and their offerings. Clarified any questions and made sure to point out the differences between the novelty products versus the actual everyday stuff.Prices are high, no pun intended, at $30-$120 per gram. Just remember with the way the law is written this is the legal solution that the people chose and have only ourselves to blame.
Great shop! They carry all the brands of cannabis that I buy. I am mainly a concentrate fan and they carry all the top shelf and bargain brands that I use . They give a 20% discount for medical cannabis patients if you have your card . The customer service is second to none . Kevin always helps me choose the tastiest and terpiest solvent-less and solvent extraction concentrates , he's probably the best budtender in the Seattle area . I live in Tacoma and always drive the 45 minutes to factoria to go to green theory and so should you!
Just want to give a shout out to Curtis who helped me out today what amazing engery and enthusiasm he rocks and love the staff first time customer but will be only using them from now on thanks guys
I've been visiting Green Theory regularly since they opened. If you are just looking for the cheapest legal weed, this is not your store. This store is for moneyed people that want to find the best weed for their money, and like getting advice from savvy bud-tenders. And really, the prices have come down. The Juju joins that were up to 100 at one point, and which you can get medically for 20 bucks, are down around 50 I think now. It's clean, bright, and they recently added additional parking in the lot up the hill behind them. 99% of the employees I've talked to there (and there are quite a few) are kind, funny, helpful, and most of all SUPER knowledgable. At first I came in asking for whatever strain I had researched, or a strain I already knew. Now I ask my tender what they like, and they are always spot-on. The most knowledgeable guy is the one with the sweet facial tatts. He's not really a classic shmoozy sales guy, and can be a little gruff, but he knows his stuff. If he says a strain makes you happy, sleepy, and won't give you munchies, rest assured, you will get those effects. And by law, they cannot accept returns due to the law. No store can. So a) take care of your investment. If you spend 80 bucks on a .5g of oil and leave it laying on your car seat to leak.... well... b) Complain to the grower\supplier. Liberty Reach, Evergreen, and Dama all make cartridges, see if one brand works better than the other for you.
I commend the place for having a good atmosphere. It's bright, modern and has jazz music playing. The staff doesn't look like, dress like, or act like your stereotypical stoners which is fantastic. For doing their part to undo the ridiculous taboo and chiche I give them a couple of stars toward five. But that is all I'll give. Every one of the prices there are, at the very least, THREE TIMES as high as they should be. The product I experienced was wastefully over-packaged, only fair quality, and much too dry.Of course the tragedy of prohibition and its unraveling is in its infancy, and the lunacy won't be over until marijuana has roughly the same regulation as tomatoes. However this step of regulation MUST reach realistic prices or the black market will persist. It's a no-brainer.
If you're on the Eastside and want to play it by the books, it doesn't hurt to give this place a try. But I wasn't too impressed. The prices for edibles (as of January 2015) are pretty absurd. They're generally $40 to $60 for less than 100mg. The raw stuff isn't too bad - I saw 2 grams for $45. I'm glad this stuff is being taxed, but either greed or bureaucratic costs are sending the prices quite high. The people look respectable (no shady characters) but the service wasn't great. One person asked me if I wanted help but the staff generally didn't seem super friendly.Their facilities are quite nice. They're well-lit and clean, with lots of space to walk around. The glass display cabinets show off the products in an elegant way. They only take debit and cash.
I live in Factoria, so it was nice finding a little dispensary so close to my place. Location is right behind the McDonald's. The whole building is painted green, so you can't miss it. Was able to walk out with a nice sativa hybrid, 3.5 grams for $25. I also picked up a pre-roll dipped in kief for $8. The bartender was extremely attentive and gave us multiple options for bud. In most dispensaries, they want you in and out, most of the time not very friendly or helpful. Green-Theory really took the time to show their varieties/sales without being pushy for up-sales. My only gripe is security, the guy checking out I.D.s gave me and my boyfriend the wrong first impression. He didn't seem very friendly or welcoming. Being my first time there, first impressions matter. Other than the security, music, prices, and bartenders are all top notch. :)
I've been coming here for a while and it's been my go-to after trying out a few other spots. Used to be quite a bit more pricey than they are now, I suspect due to the novelty of legal pot in Bellevue wearing off and/or just maturation of the market in general.Worth noting that last I checked they DO price match! If you find something significantly cheaper at a different retail (not medical) location, they should honor it unless that policy has changed. Be sure to confirm with staff before taking my word for it though.Selection is pretty good. They do tend to sell out of the really nice stuff reasonably quickly, but there's never been a situation where I was left totally dry. Whatever your preference they'll have good stuff on hand to take care of it. Unless you're visiting (welcome to what the rest of the country will hopefully have soon, by the way) I'd recommend getting a membership. It's painless and the discounts add up.So yeah! Great spot, good location, membership includes money off and discounts for special events, and most of the staff know their stuff. If I had to complain, I'd say that some kinda don't and there's been some situations where I had to confer with a different staff member for information, but you know what? Really not a big deal. Sometimes people are new to a job and haven't learned everything yet. It happens, and it isn't particularly distressing when it does. I'm not sure why I see some other reviews on here with people getting their pants in a twist about it.
Was a customer at the Bellevue location for years until they were forced to move, averaging at about 35$ a day when the math is done.My issue here is the fact that they got rid of all loyalty rewards and the 50+ dollars I had saved up. Now I wouldn't normally be so "butt-hurt", except that on the last couple days of closing I asked, and was then told by an employee that I wouldn't have to worry about spending my 50+ reward dollars that day as they would be transferring rewards to the new location. Its been months and after calling a few times and hearing random excuses its starting to feel that they decided to cut the loyalty program in order to save themselves a bunch of money. So due to that, I can't continue to support a business that treats its loyal customers by lying to their faces.I have since started shopping at Novel Tree and they provide a loyalty service.
I bought their most expensive oil cartridge (was around $65), used it for 2 days, then found it had leaked out into my car and onto the dab pen. I called the store and told them what had happened. An employee told me to come in and they could help me out. So I bring it in only to be told that the only thing they could do to help was to give me 10% off of my next purchase, and then I was brushed aside. Yeah right, like I'm gonna buy another one of these expensive oil cartridges when it could very easily leak again and Green Theory wouldn't give two shits about my experience as a customer. Not shopping here again when there are other cannabis stores so close!
After reading previous reviews, I was concerned about taking my friend here for help with her chemo-related nausea and lack of appetite. A phone conversation with a brusque man who said they "didn't really do" medical cannabis, and would give only a 10% discount if they did, didn't make it sound any better. So glad our actual experience was excellent! We were warmly welcomed into a bright, well-appointed store. Dawn was very patient, informative and offered plenty of options; my friend felt good about her choices, and the 20% discount. We will be back.
This place sucks, overpriced for low quality. They don't let you browse without hawking over your shoulder.i would recommend any of the nice places in the area over this place!
I will not be going back here again. I used my debit card and not only did an extra 1.5 fee show up on my bank statement. But then an extra 2.5 showed up for using an "atm" I didn't use an atm. I know what an arm looks like. I paid using my debit card. Rip off
Poor quality of products, the guy with a star war shirt is careless. He just want us to pay and get out. Not gonna be in membership with this store just because this employee is in there. Be alert.
This is hands down the best Cannabis store around! Great staff, knowledgeable, nice and willing to answer any and all questions. You can find places that might be cheaper, but it is 100% worth the price....their products are the best, and they stand behind everything they sell. You have a problem, Green Theory will make it right!
Avoid this place. Belmar is a much better shop with a more knowledgable staff. I was denied using a perfectly real Washington drivers license by someone who clearly doesn't know how to check IDs.
Worst marijuana store ever. I was in the store yesterday and purchased too babe refills the lady gave me the wrong one and one of them and I didn't realize it till I got home and so I've been busy working all day and so this evening I stop in here to exchange it for the one I was supposed to have gotten and the manager tells me that they will not be exchanging it because I walked out of the store with it so the theory behind Green theory is it's a stupid business practice
THE destination MJ store in the greater western WA area!! The selection of fine concentrates is simply mind-boggling. A really nice Filipino boy named Elies helped me, and he was VERY knowledgeable as well. I had some pretty "dumb" questions, and he helped me understand everything I wanted to know!! Amazing store, amazing product, amazing staff. WILL be returning to Green Theory!!!!
Daniel was extremely helpful, very knowledgable on the product he was selling, and was overall just a super nice guy. It was my first time in a retail shop and he made me feel right at home.I'll definitely be coming back because of the wonderful way I was treated, and the selection was pretty great too!
Convenient location in downtown Bellevue with a very knowledgeable staff. Wide selection and surprisingly low prices on daily specials. We finally get a decent retail store downtown!
I was impressed with this place. The staff is friendly, and the service is great. They have a great selection of products and the staff is so informative and helpful while you are shopping! I have tried a few of the shops in the area and Green Theory is hands down my favorite.
This is a great shop, filled with a variety of top quality product, and amazing employees! I recommend this place to someone who hasn't gone to a shop before, or those who know the difference in good flower.
Green Theory is by far my Favorite Marijuana Store. Very friendly and helpful staff. Thank you G T.
Good selection and good service... Prices are a little high, but it's retail. Definitely a fan of this shop!
Great buds, storefront, and service - TERRIBLE customer support. With the location, cost of merchandise, and this being a newly established business; customer service and support should be priority 1.I went to Green Theory yesterday on my lunch break. It was my first time in, and I was pretty blown away by the clean, high-end, professional look of the store. I appreciated there being security guards on-site, though I didn't feel concerned for my safety regardless (it's Bellevue). All of the employees I dealt with were great. After about 20 minutes of browsing I purchased:Half gram of oil in a pre-filled canister ($65 if I remember correctly)2.2 grams of "Juicy Fruit" flowers (on sale at $45)1 caramel truffle ($20) My total was about $130-$140.I ate my truffle and was satisfied with the experience. Once it started wearing off, I screwed my oil canister on my e-cig battery pack and started puffing away. I had about 8 puffs and was golden.I put the e-cig battery pack and canister (screwed together and up-right) on my dresser and went to bed.I woke up to the entire tube empty, and about $60 in oil all over the place. I took a look at it, and found that the sealing flange in the canister was bent about 5 degrees, causing the oil to leak out everywhere. Cleaning my hands and wiping off the dresser took 30 minutes. To top it off, I'm not even half way done cleaning (still have to clean the battery pack and oak dresser), and may not be able to fix my dresser without refinishing it. I went back into the store today on lunch to ask for an exchange, and was told that the best Green Theory could do (they said it was according to law, which I do not believe am currently reviewing) was to give me 15% off my next purchase.... How could it be illegal for you, Green Theory, to exchange a product or provide me store credit? Why 15%? As I told the manager, I've had both private and public liquor stores replace alcohol bottles for me that were faulty.Maybe I met with the "wrong manager", but due to your business practices, I will NEVER step foot in your store again unless this is rectified. I feel personally insulted buying such a SHODDY product, for such a high price, at such a high-end establishment. Please feel free to contact me about this, I am a very understanding person but when I'm insulted by buying high-end products that last less than 24 hours, and am told I can spend another $55 dollars to fix it: I WILL let anyone who will listen know about these shady business practices.Thank you
1st time here, very friendly staff, very knowledgeable and helpful. Prices are reasonable and they have a variety of product. Definitely going back soon.
Third visit. First time was ok. Second I asked about prices and some CBD strains. The guy was clearly irritated with my questions. $34 a gram for out door. I went back today for the third time. The guy I talked to was probably the rudest service person I have seen. Bummer. If anyone from the store reads this and cares I know exactly who it was and what was said. Not worth writing it all here.
This place has such a welcoming and warm staff. I was visiting and decided to check out the place and see what all the hype was about. At first I felt so overwhelmed by all the different items they offered but Evan helped my friend and I with thoroughly explaining everything. He was so friendly and knowledgeable. I liked that he didn't make me feel stupid about any questions I had. I was very indecisive but he was very patient with me. Definitely the place to go for your first time!
Although there are only a few rec shops on the east side, Green Theory is probably one of the best in the entire city! They always have a wide variety of products as well as an incredibly diverse stock of strains. They employees are constantly courteous and ready to answer any questions I may have. They will always have my business.
I live near by and been here a few times and have to say, every time I come by, the customer service has always been friendly and very professional and the establishment is super clean and very well organized. I say this because I've been to another cannabis store in the Olympia area and there's no comparison. That place was a dump and Green Theory is very professional. Thanks guys.
They really have good stuff and very polite to customers. Staff has very deep knowledge about the products. My favorite in bellevue
Almost got stuck with a non-functional cartridge, but they took care of me. Just be sure to save the receipt and packaging, and the cartridge. That's not too much to ask. Five stars!!
The most outstanding recreational shop on the Eastside. Great deals almost every day of the week. Knowledgeable and laid back staff, make for a great shopping experience. If you have not been to green theory and shop for rec. weed or etc. on the Eastside then you are making a mistake.
They carry Kiona and Gold Leaf. Large selection of flower... even the $10/g stuff is very high quality. I like asking the various bud-tenders what their personal favorites are, and then sampling those. Just tried a Thai Sativa by Kiona, as well as their Santa Marta, a purple sativa. I shop here for the knowledgeable folks and large selection of high-end flower. Have never left disappointed.
I'm so disappointed that my favorite cannabis store is no more. Green Theory moved to Factoria from Bellevue and lost all appeal. The new location is smaller, no longer takes debit cards at the register, no longer has or uses loyalty points, no longer carries Zoots or Phat Panda edibles, and the oil cartridge prices were higher and the selection much smaller. I would happily drive to Factoria for the original Green Theory. Whoever is running this one ruined it and they've lost my business. Total bummer.
So stoked to find a shop in Bellevue. After I moved to the eastside I was lost. Then came Green Theory. What a great shop. Friendly, helpful and GREAT SELECTION of edibles, drinkables, etc...
Really good customer service. Kind of disorganized by where you are supposed to go and who's going to help you. I like that they take card. Don't like they charge so much for using a card. Prices are higher than my normal shop but it's right next to work so it's worth it to not have to go out of my way.
Great variety. They take debit cards. Their service and staff are all top self. Items in all price ranges.
I went into my first weed shop today and it was this one. I walked out smiling like a kid in a candy store. Let me be clear: I am in my 40's and married with children and smoke maybe half dozen times a year. I am not too concerned about price. This place was exactly what most people in my age range are looking for. It was like walking into a jewelry shop. Clean, well decorated, pleasant vibe, safe and most importantly - the people there went out of their way to educate me on the progress of ingesting marijuana and how it's changed over the past 30 years and I felt comfortable having the conversation :) I cannot say how thrilled I am that this place exists. This is a shop that is doing it right. Those of you who are a little older will very much like Green Theory. But then again, I guess it doesn't really matter - they've got stuff for everyone.
Expert service, from the staff, friendly environment, and a welcoming greeter named Josh made for a wonderful experience at Green Theory.
Not the greatest costumer service, I dared asking a couple of extra questions about the tincture I was buying and the guy got really annoyed and cranky. Not a great vibe for a cannabis shop.
Solid shop, nice people, decent selection.Seems most of the reviews on here are negative due to pricing, and while I do respect everyone's right to an opinion, I have to wonder just what those folks were expecting when they went to a legal cannabis shop in Downtown Bellevue?! Heck yeah it's expensive, and it couldn't be my only 'store' due to that, but when you're looking for quality and convenience this can't be beat. I'm usually in the store for 5 min tops, and I've never been let down with their quality. This place is exactly what I expected it to be. Maybe if they can extend the hours a bit into the evening I'll come back and add that 5th star. Very happy with GT all around.
They were having a moving sale the day I went, but that was the only reason I ended up buying anything. The sales guy hovered over us the whole time, even though we told him we were just looking, and the woman at the counter was rude.
This is a solid recreational shop. It's probably the best one in Bellevue and it's by far the classiest looking place. The selection and vendor variety is decent, but the selection of top-shelf cannabis is limited. The pricing is a little on the more expensive side, but they have a price-match option that applies to a fair selection of their products. Overall the customer experience is satisfying and efficient and it's a great store to come and check-in on every once in a while, but might not be the recreational dispensary to call home.
I stopped here when in Bellevue and loved it. There was no wait. the store was clean and upscale looking. The prices were good. Not nearly as much as others have mentioned so perhaps the prices are going down. Everything I saw was $20 a gram. The staff is excellent and professional. I will stop in next time I'm in Bellevue!
I love Green Theory and would normally give it a five star rating, have been there my fair share of times. BUT THIS LAST TIME, I had a budtender just hand me a flyer of what they had... which in a new environment of titled products, says nothing short of irt, birt, squirt. I stood there and took the list to another counter--THEN--the Green Theory magic, that I am familiar with came into a play. The bud tender; LEVI; was in training. Though training, he was eager to help and understand my needs; he had a more experienced tender shadowing him, so not a beat was missed in Levi's training, which once again, demonstrated 99% of my wonderful experiences with Green Theory. I can't speak well enough about these folks and their product. I have been smoking pot since the seventies and to walk into an establishment that doesn't feel like a head shop and provides a professional environment--not only does it give me more comfort, but also helps legitimize the industry.Go LEVI! You are rocking' the mission!!
Good customer service even though he didn't answer questions thoroughly like other places I have been to but he got the job done. Prices on certain strains were higher then other places as well. Great selections and varieties. I loved the edibles display. And I was able to get in get and get out. Thank you guys your great! Our cashier was Sean R. Thank u Stephanie Martinez & Janet Gonzales
Best dispensary on the east side. Green theory has Great bud tenders who know their product, great prices with green elite membership, and convenient location close to the 550 bus stop if you're coming in from Seattle. Give them your money!
A friend that works up the road told me about this place, i gotta say this is the best retailer of green stuff I've been to.Low prices, free loyalty program. This is a smart business and I'm getting here exclusively.
Came in today for the first time and experienced the worst customer service I have ever experienced at a dispensary in over 5 years of purchasing medical and recreational cannabis in Washington and Oregon. Drove in all the way from UW and was told by the doorman, a young hispanic male, that my Nevada driver's license is a fake because the "colors around my picture are a little weird"? This is interesting to note and I will contact my local DMV to let them know that the license they issued me is a fake. He then asks if I have a passport which I did not as who carries around a passport everywhere they go? I was just going to leave but had spent almost an hour to get to Bellevue so I asked him if there was a manager or someone else who was trained to take a look at my ID; To which he flippantly replies that I "could've gone all the way back to Seattle to get my passport in the time that I was arguing with him". After asking for a manager repeatedly and being denied, he reluctantly brought over a manager who asked if she could take my ID for further examination, to which I agreed. 5-10 minutes later, manager never returns to address me but sends the bouncer-doorman to say the exact same thing that he felt "uncomfortable" letting me in without a passport. Even though it says that out-of-state ID's are welcome on their website, if you are from out-of-state you may want to bring your passport in addition to your license, or if you don't have a passport (and even if you do), you may want to save yourself the time and trouble by going to literally ANY of the many quality dispensaries in the Seattle area for better customer service.
This place and the team are awesome! From the second we walked in the door we were greeted with a smile and asked how they can help us and directed us to the right person!!! She was super knowledgeable and answered all of our questions! We got what we needed, and then some :)! Thank you!!!!
Selection was great and service was very helpful. A bit pricey but that's Bellevue and that's life. Would recommend it to anyone who is interested in quality over quantity.
I like the prices and they have my favorite brand of oil. This is the only cannabis shop I go to because the employees are nice and efficient.
GT has an awesome selection of concentrates. The other legal shops nearby seem to just have either low quality-low priced oil/wax (the stuff that tastes like pure butane) or overpriced concentrates. Being able to buy 90%+ THC oil for $40/g has definitely been a big draw for me. I really wish the quality of the buds were on par with what medical patients can get at MM markets in Seattle, but the oil is good enough for now...
I actually come here a lot and I love this store all of their edibles are awesome! Can't wait to go get some more! Def recommend coming here
I'm a regular at green theory, I come in about two times a week and see what they have new and talk to the staff to see what they recommend. Out of all the shops I have been to, in my opinion they are the best. The staff is very nice from when you walk in the door and they smile and welcome you. If you don't know what you want that's not a problem because they will help you find something that's a good fit for you. They really have a passion in the industry and you can tell. I've been there for an hour before because one of the staff was explaining to me how dabbing works step by step and he gave me his email for any other questions or concerns I had. They also have an AMAZING selection. Any strand you want they carry. They may be out if it's a popular one but they have some that are very similar (for example if you want cookies and cream and they are out, they have animal cookies, peppermint cookies, and more). I highly recommend this shop to anyone, if you are a beginner or someone that has a lot of experience, this is the shop for you!! (Shout out to the guys today who hooked me up with the new "legalized og" strand from SPR. that stuff was fire.)
Classiest, cleanest looking shop in Bellevue. Great prices too! Their top shelf selection is always on point. They also have a huge selection of great elixirs that aren't available in Bellevue anywhere else. Love it
CONSUMERS BE WARE! Ariel was Using cop to get away his fraud to his members and customers !!!! If yelp has -0 rating, I would give to this man who claimed as a manager and owner(Ariel) BELOW ZERO! I have been Green Theory membership for 18 months. As cancer survivor, I need edibles to help me go through many agonizing sleepless nights.Today, G.T ( Green Theory) has big sales for moving different locations. I took this opportunity to save my money as much as I can since I need cannabis to eliminate my cancer's medicines side effect. After spending hundreds of dollar, I have found out GT did not honor their sales price right after I paid to budtender. Ariel admitted there was computer errors but he refused to resolve nor refund the difference. His excuse was no calculator at the register and he does not know how to do the math without the help of gadgets. I told him that he was overcharged me and other customers, he need to refund the money. His solution was wanting me to come back later and told me that he can not refund because he can not calculate the number outside of the help of his register. He called the cop on me for asking refund. 2 clear cartridge regular price $60. 40% of $120 = $48; RSO $30x40% = $12; 5 candies x$30 = $150 x40%= $60, Phat Panda cartridge $49 x 40%= $19.6; battery $5 with purchase cartridge.Instead of took 2 minutes of his time to do the math, he called the cop and told me that he did not need me as his future customer. Ariel, you are not the only one who own cannabis dispensary! Your business practice are extremely rude, unprofessional, false advertising, and fraud to your consumers! You admitted there was many errors at your register and refused to fix and refund! Shame on you Ari for using cop to cover your false business transactions. This kind of business practice is STINK!!! It is a crime for you missleading your customers and took my money without return.
This is my go to in Bellevue beside bel mar Shit for the price location cant gon wrong... bud is nice for the price ... shit 20 would getchu u smokin sumthin good if u dont got it like dat.. but being from the east coast 25 30 for an 8th .. watta time to be alive .. shouts to the Gg #4 stay high my friends
The staff was condescending and lacked knowledge! It took three tries and 300 dollars to get any medicine of any therapeutic value. One young girl laughed at my wife and said of course all the best indica is gone!! 21 plus...Green Theory-Factoria sells bunk for top dollar.
This place is awesome great selection and the staff are amazing. All of the guys are super chill and very helpful, the ladies are beautiful super sweet and helpful I've been coming here for years and probably always will!
Bouncer at the front was super friendly and keeps it real. Bud tenders should try to up there game in customer interactions if possible. Overall quality of the store is clean and well kept for the most part.
After being told 3 weeks prior they would exchange a dud battery "no questions asked," I was told today the original salesperson was simply wrong, and I needed the original packaging. Worse by far, asked to wait a few minutes for the manager to approve nonetheless, they actually had the temerity to hand me a non-functioning, non-chargeable battery, pretending they were actually exchanging it. Pretty sleazy. I'll never go back.
I went back for a second time. I was treated like a jerk.Online ordering only, really??? They went from good, to garbage. Wont be back!
Green Theory factoria has a dope selection. I am kinda picky about what I get because when I get what I need my day works better. My budtender had good suggestions and I am a happy camper.
They have been managing health and safety during the pandemic really well. Their communications and processes are clear and thoughtful, protecting staff and customers. The online ordering in advance of pickup is easy and works well. Really reduces the amount of time needed in the store. They have a good supply of product, and the people working are knowledgeable about the product. Our favorite neighborhood pot store.
Licensed cannabis grower and legit plug (CALL/TEXT +1760-385-3840). We have top shelf grade AA+ gas, carts, edibles, high THC and CBD content products ready for all your orders. We're open 24/7 taking orders doing quick and discreet deliveries down town welcome all those flying into town pay a visit to our site and have real fun and satisfaction to our very best
Love this place, some of their items are Hybrids only when you can get the specific Sative or Indica at other stores. Good prices.
Ill say that place does have good weed there royal tree farms doesnt have the greatest selection. But they have it . thats a plus . when a dispensary dont have royal tree they had better have something just as good these guys did there best to match and almost got it
I have some very unusual allergies and health issues. The staff here can always help me find an affordable option for a flower that works for me. I've never had an allergic reaction to anything I've purchased from here thanks to the staff being knowledgeable and listening to me. There are plenty of stores very close to me. I'll drive the extra distance to pay almost half the price for what I can get here.
The staff are super friendly and helpful! I gave them a budget and what I was looking for and I felt I got the best for buck and best part, they are dog friendly and allow our furbabies inside, oh and they got treats! I highly recommend going here any time you're in the area.
Not going to lie, I hated having a weed store move into my neighborhood years ago. I left a bad review cause I was unhappy with all the inconveniences. I like that you’re in the neighborhood now. Your staff is friendly. We have positive interactions. I still think you need a stop or yield sign for traffic leaving your store. I also hate that people show up with loud music, but that’s out of your control and it’s becoming less of a problem thankfully. Thanks for tolerating your cranky neighbor.
