It was my first time in this shop last weekend. I Was greeted / checked in by a friendly employee, walked into the next room to Friendly bud tenders! Clean and well stocked shop! Will def be returning. Would highly recommend.

Came here for my first and last time for the reason that I happened to be in the area for an interview so I decided to stop by. Only had I known I'd regret it I'd never showed up. The atm machine is very confusing I made numerous attempts to with draw cash but somehow it wasn't giving the option of the amount I would like to withdraw it just gave the option of checking or saving I pressed checking and from there it asked the option for a receipt that's where it got confusing bc it skipped the part of giving me the option of the amount I wanted to withdraw so I tried again and again again and each time all I received was a receipt until finally after all the attempts I was now able to withdraw $40 plus I believe $1.95 for the fee I confirmed ok not a problem however later Threw my online banking I seen I was charged $2.50 three times at a total of $7.50 from the use of there atm machine excluding the additional fee on top of that when finally I was able to get cash out so all along I was getting the printed receipt without any cash withdrawal and got charged! I'm only sharing my experience so maybe u could save yourself the trouble and avoid useing  there atm machines just go with cash when u arrive

Great place. I love their variety of weed. Also friendly staff. You don't feel rushed to get the hell out of there. I like to take my time and see what I want to spend my money on. They are patient and very organized. Thank you.

I'm a first-timer. Although I'd done tons of research on what was best for me it was still great to be reassured by the gal helping me. They have a massive selection of everything. So many edibles it was almost overwhelming. Unlike most places, they give first-time discounts and have happy hour.First impression- it's VERY CLEAN and bright inside. It's like an upscale shop you'd find on Rodeo Drive. It reminded me of Apple stores. Very organized and spacious. Parking was not a problem. I admit, parking is usually a deal breaker for me in a lot of places. They have their own lot that's fenced in. The outside looks modern and clean as well.Everyone was friendly. No complaints here. I had researched 5 other shops closer to my place in Studio City, wasn't impressed with reviews and some had complaints of not wearing masks. Balsy. I felt 100% safe at Roots. They ask customers do not open the refrigerators or touch counters for Covid Safety. Hand sanitizer at the door.::If all works out with my goodies I'll be back.The only issue is that it's very hard to hear inside with masks and social distancing.

Lovely place, plenty of selections to choose from. Wether it be flower, gummies, drinks, or joints. Always clean, staff is pretty friendly for the most part & the happy hour is very good!

I bought a battery kit and I was so happy because I found a place near me rather than driving to maywood for the items I wanted. I drove from Northridge before they closed and the first disappointment for me was the fact that what I went for they were out of stock in the color I wanted. I asked the guy to go check in the back also though he said there was one. He went to the vault and I knew when he said there was one in stock it's not a real number and chances were slim. Then I went with another, kinda didn't want another color but whatever not the end of the world. Moreover, was driving I had it charging. I let it charge for an hr and came to realize it doesn't work. Sucks that I've been wanting to be at ease and now I have to go again to sv  and exchange this one for another when it's just a unnecessary drive I must take and another thing added to my errands unfortunately. Luckily I saved the receipt. The guy that helped me was nice.

First time customer to this store. I was in the area and I found them on a quick Google search.  The store looked really clean from the outside with a professional wood finish and the inside was super fancy. Nice big lot with plenty of parking. I noticed prices were on average lower across the board than my local regular spot that is 15 mins away from this Sherman ways location in sun valley /north Hollywood.  They're right at the boarder lol. The staff was welcoming and knowledgeable it seemed. There were a few people in there but no wait. As soon as I got inside a new bud tender shot out from the back to serve me, I like that.  I noticed they had a lot of different brands that Im used to but also plenty of new ones that I haven't seen before in addition to their own brand items.  Product display looked great and not messy. Prices were on each item.  I also noticed they had a drive up or pick up dedicated parking spot outside.   I asked if they delivered when inside and they said they will be starting that mid May to latest June 1st so idk I wouldn't mind trying their delivery service in the future since they're a. it out of the way, well see. But if I'm ever in the area, I'd definitely come in for the experience again, it was systematic and smooth.

Best dispensary in LA hands down! Their customer service is next level and they have the best prices plus two daily happy hours. You can't find a better dispensary than this!!! They have a wide variety of products and are super clean.

Lmfao the worst shop you can go to. I spit on roots weed lol never come here again

The shop is great but the product was garbage. Picked up 1/4 of OG Kush by Zip and it was so dry with plenty of stems and gave me a headache.  $58  for 7 grams was not a deal felt more ripped off.  This was the first time leaving Roots not happy. This store has a variety of good products this 1/4 was some dried up backyard boogie. I'm so disappointed. I will not buy anything from Crown/zip and if I was Roots I would take it off the menu.

The costumer service was really Polite. I enjoyed everything about this store . Ive been here alot and the store was really clean and they also  have security all the tiime

Just checked this out for the first time! Great spot! Ample parking, clean, and huge selection. Lots to choose from and friendly staff. Adding to my list of preferred spots

My new favorite spot. Had such a great experience. The employees were knowledgeable and helped me find what I needed. The products are AMAZING, they have everything you need and more. The shop is clean and has a great selection, competitive pricing, and plenty of parking unlike most shops. Highly recommended

I have been many places but by far Roots is the best have I have been. The selection is endless and the quality of product is amazing. They always carry fresh product and I never get disappointed. Managers and staff are very friendly and educated. Defiantly not going anywhere else. The best in the LA area.

Great dispensary in the LA area. They have all the top shelf brands and an awesome selection. All the products are brand verified. Prices are very good compared to other high end boutique shops. It also looks like they are one of the dispensaries that get exclusive drops. FTP and happy hours are very good. Thanks Roots!

First time here.   DID NOT get the service I'm used to getting at a dispensary.  Bud tender was not helpful to what I wanted.  It was obvious he was pushing what he needed to.  He never smiled and seemed like he could car less about his job  I was in a great mood (my 63 birthday) and was hoping for a fun time at the club . Didn't happen.   If I go back I will not use him

One of the best LA has to offer! The people here really care about the product and customer. I talked to the manager Emily just out of luck and she really showed me how much she loved for the plant and respect for the customer. They'll straight up turn down flower from vendors if it's too old. If I'm going to pay top dollar I gotta know it was worth it, at Roots it's worth my money every time. More places in Los Angeles should be like this instead of just selling hype. This is my go to for sure because of awesome people like Emily.

I've been here probably 10 times. Until the last three or so, this would have been five star. Lately the staff is not helpful or knowledgeable. My last experience was super awkward. With the guy assuming all of these things about me and none of them being true. It's pretty hit and miss lately so I will probably be changing dispensaries. other than that, super clean super organized. When they first opened they were cash only then they took cards and now they're back to cash only

WOW! What a great experience being here for the first time. I don't live in LA but work over here and I found this place on Weedmaps. Honestly, the best experience!! The ladies were so friendly and so was the guy at the lobby. I wish I would've gotten both of the ladies names, but one had brown and blonde hair and the other was promoting Alienlabs. Both were awesome! I'm definitely coming here more often!

This is my new favorite dispensary!  I would give Roots 5 stars just for the amazing prices. I got a nice discount and I left with 3 full grams for under $80.!  On top of that everyone was really nice.  I, unfortunately, forgot to take names so I can't properly credit all the wonderful people who helped me.  I was in the mood for bargains and the young lady who help me did a great job helping find product that I am very happy with.  So, 5 stars for product and 5 stars for service.  Thanks to everyone at Roots.

I like coming to this dispensary for butter, lotions and plants.  They always have good quality  and they even have their own brand of beard lotion that smells really good.  The service is always nice and they have lots of local brands to offer.  They open from 6am to 8p. Or later.

Terrible products rude,  weird staff. Just over skip this place.. I would recommend any place but here they just were so unclean scratching vigorously and rude, Very low vibrational and bad energy in there.. I'd recommend natural remedies they left a better impression

This place is a veritable Candy Land of cannabis! I wandered in on a whim to see what my options were in the way of edibles to help with a few months of post-surgery recovery and Cliff was so kind and helpful and hooked me up with some fantastic products! BEST PRICES AND SELECTION!!!!! They have anything you could want. They have two happy hours, 6am-10am and 2pm-6pm. You can't beat their prices at happy hour. I live in Pasadena and drive there once a week.

Called ahead and they reserved my requested products. Store is awesome so I handpick more items. Jackie then assisted me with some discounts. We even trade contact info so I can stay informed. I gotta say this has to be my favorite dispensery, even though I came through only once. Will be back.
