So the other day i was low on my weed supply and my friend recommended me to her go to shop so i gave it a try. The 1st time i went they gave me banana cream it smelled and look just like it and the smoke was yummy but that hole 1/8 i had just got was finished in that hour because it wast getting me high. So i went back the second day and i explained to the manager what happened and they kindly gave me a discount so i got another 1/8 of house and it did the same thing it wast getting me high at all but the nugs looked pretty.

This place is amazing always has good stock and the employees are very helpful and know what to recommend.  This is my go to spot for sure.

I've been going here for over a year and they consistently have the best stock! The staff is really nice, especially Meghan who always helps me get the best edibles. Definitely one of the more reasonably priced establishments.

Rude RUDE people!!!!! Placed an online order with them via getnugg website. Their page says $80 min for orders. Within a few short  minutes of placing my order which met the minimum, they "declined it" because they said their order minimum is actually $140 - and demanded I reorder with the appropriate amount, as if I have $60 extra to casually spend. I called to speak with the manager and report the discrepancy in info, and when I asked politely to do so, the chick in the snottiest tone humanly possible responded "CAN YOU SPEAK UP?!?!!". Thanks for the crappy experience. Sorry I don't have an extra $60 laying around, I have children to holiday shop for, and even if I did - I certainly wouldn't give it to you greedy, rude people.

Best place in the Valley for my herbal needs. Always good deals, and great customer service from the entire staff to the security. They make you feel welcomed, and in turn make the patient/customer more comfortable and relax when purchasing from the shop. It's not always about a rush to get you out; they actually want to give you the best Herb for your budget. Forever the Go-To-Shop!

Yes, they do add tax, to be safe I suggest that you figure adding 35% to your net total purchase price. If you have a medical recommendation on file you pay "only" 29.5% tax.Getting ThereThe difficulty in finding this shop varies with the time of day; at night you can't miss it, just look for the brightly lit, indica green palm tree growing out of their lot. By day it is easy to miss their driveway--and it can be hard to get turned back around in traffic. I keep an eye out for the palm tree, it is the only one on the block and easy to spot when you are looking for it. There is a mid-sized parking lot, which after 4-6 visits I have never seen full--Easy Parking? Check!Getting InOn your first visit, your entry will be delayed a few minutes because you are asked to read, and are required to sign, a membership agreement. Back in 2006, when this company was started, dispensaries were required to restrict themselves (in their corporate charters) to conducting business only between members. As a result, you must give HCMA some basic personal information before you can be admitted into the showroom as a member. I emphasize member because memberships can easily be revoked, I'm  just sayin...play nice.On subsequent visits, you're in almost immediately. I have never had to wait because of inadequate staffing here either (the law requires each customer to be attended to by one employee, at some shops too many customers and too few budtenders results in rather lengthy waits to get in.).The GoodsOverall best prices in the area! I have visited most of the Weedmaps listed shops in the North Hollywood, Sun Valley, Sunland, Arleta, Pacoima and Sylmar areas within the past 6 months and HCMA is where I buy my bud. They carry a large assortment of strains, about  of which is priced at $15 an eighth! Despite their claim of having a "$15 CAP" on 's (in advertising and in-store signage), some strains are priced in the $25 -35 per eighth range, but many are only $15 bucks each. Today I got 8 eighths of 8 different strains for only $120. For the fractionally-challenged; that is an ounce of top shelf flower for $120--at most shops you'd pay $200 or more!This is also The SPOT for pre-rolled joints. They offer a variety of strain specific pre-rolled (in house) conestyle joints for only $2.50 each! Might I suggest finding a way to identify which strain is in a particular joint, because once at home they are nearly impossible to tell one from another.Although this shop is not perfect, they kick-ass where it counts. Excellent quality meds at great prices--well worth slumming into the sordid underbelly known as Sun Valley for a minute or two,Highly Recommended--6 Stars!

HCMA is a cool shop. I like that they had a huge selection of products. Tons of cartridges to choose from. I like that they carry one of my fave brands, Raw Garden. I like that the taxes are included in the price upfront, which makes buying easier. I received a ftp goodie bag, which was cool. Would stop by again when in the area.

I've been using this dispensary for a while now , cause it's been convenient but enough is enough , the product is not great to begin with , but it's the customer service when checking in that gets me so upset there so rude they don't acknowledge you when checking in which a lot of time it's the security guard , it doesn't feel like a true business it feels like street dealers , it's kids thinking it's just a fun job .. went somewhere more professional today very happy , took my money else where ..

This place is shit. My father buys weed for medical reasons and this place sold him moldy weed and REFUSED to refund him. The person working the desk claimed it was crystals but that was a bunch of bull we know our shit. Be careful of what you smoke from there because they obviously don't know anything. After the audacity to sell bad weed they kicked out my father and asked him to never return. I mean who wants to smoke medicine with powdery mildew?! That's absurd, even the secured guard had apologized to my father for how the clerk acted towards him.

Good enough for the price during an unprecedented time in history when there is more marijuana than ever before yet clubs continue to gauge customers with skyrocketing prices + the whole crazy tax thing..... my standards are very high and I'd prefer less contact with human hands and the herb but let's not kid ourselves, buds get touched regardless.

Delivery drivers will steal from your order 9 times out of 10. Insanely overpriced product that you can get at many other nearby dispensaries for about 20% less cost and on top of that most of their product is dry, stale, and not worth purchasing in general. Stay far away

My favorite spot to go I don't go anywhere else . they have the bomb . and they are all super dope peeps. Highly recommended to anyone who needs to get medicated. This is the place to go. Top edibles . top oils and flowers . thumbs up all the way

The 1st time I went the bud tender was great, the quality of the concentrates was decent enough to purchase. They have a vast variety of products between edibles, flowers, vape pens, concentrates, and have some great prices FOR THE MOST PART. The taxes for MEDICAL MARIJUANA RECCOMMENDATION PATIENTS is absurdly higher here compared to other dispensaries. There is always parking available and to get in is a quick process. The biggest let down here is the staff...I have been tended to by 3 different ladies here. The the 1st time I visited the girl was amazing, spot on with assisting with what I was looking for, offered to show strains w/o issue and mentioned various deals that they had. The other two visits were extremely bad experiences and I will definitely not be returning for this reason and is also the main reason for the 1 star. The other two women seemed uninterested in showing products to BUYING customer's, were in a rush to complete the sale and when asked if I was able to see a certain strain was given attitude or a displeasing face or quick roll of the eyes. YOU ARE IN A SALE POSITION, YOUR JOB IS TO BE HELPFUL AND PATIENT, again 2 negative experiences with  2 different bud tenders. I urge you to try a different dispensary this place is not worth it.

First off rumor had it that they were shut down, I found that they were still there a week ago. This is my third visit with a two week time. And they had mass quantities of the sample selections to choose from the two times that I went there and the time prior. I even went on 4/20. They had hotdogs. I Go in with a happy positive attitude to get some good medical cannabis from this place because they do have good plants BUT the girl behind the counter was such a bitch and rude and trying to tell me not to laugh at the things that I was wasn't laughing at because I had a smile on my face that I couldn't believe it when I opened my little jar that I bought that she told me that I couldn't open it because of the law. THE FREAKING SAMPLES SUCK so I'm just checking My merchandise. Since when is it against the law to check your merchandise especially if you don't know what you're getting now when they handed to you already pre-packed???? All she can do is keep saying she sorry. First she lied about the shelves being empty of samples. A California agricultural car was parked outside their in their parking lot close to the building as possible. They went from having mass selections to having only like five selections today. I don't know what to tell her but she is not a person that should be working with compassionate people. She has no business working there. Don't know her name brunette hair is straight light color eyes looks like a white girl. I came in today at about 12:00 PM and all the Cannabis was off the shelf. They charge you $2.19 for a white zippy bag to put your product or Cannabis it to your car. I had left mine in car went back got it and then she said she has to charge me for a new bag. Nothing wrong with my bag. So now she charged me for a bag again and I decided to tell her about her attitude and I decided to only buy one instead of the two I had planned. Because of her miss information and careless attitude. Sorry is just a word not an excuse to forgive someone for being an jerk. I'm not sorry and I will never set foot in this place again.

I used to use this dispensary almost exclusively but i finally stopped! I started noticing that the once nice ladies that worked there were becoming less nice, and the last straw was when i went there with my wife and daughter and the person working barely made eye contact during the entire transaction, I finally asked if everything was OK which she snapped "YES WHY"? so i said "that's why". This is a business and they better start acting like it! If my employees treat anyone half as bad as I've been made to feel there i would let them go in a second. There's too many dispensaries around to get treated like this.Oh and don't forget to bring your bag with you or they will charge you another dollar cause spending $200 a shot doesn't deserve a bag that cost a nickel.

The free gram after your 5th visit is a scam. They give you a card and stamp it after each visit. Since I go there all the time and spend a lot of money I expect them to stick by there word. The bud tender told me on my 5th visit that they were all out and that they were not sure when they would be getting more. Not only is this false advertisement but it's just simply not cool especially when you support them even after they jack up their prices. I decided to take my business elsewhere and spend my hard earned $ somewhere else. Now I drive up the street to SVC (sun valley caregivers) and they are so much better. Way better service and good quality bud :)

Was originally quoted an estimate of 0.5 - 1.5 hrs.  Was told that my order, which was placed at 1:39pm, would be arriving a little before or after 4:00pm. At 3:50pm I receive an un update stating that it would take an additional 2 hours.Just another typical dispensary that would rather lie to their customers as opposed to just quoting an accurate time.I understand that you're trying to make money, but don't screw over your customers.  Now I'll just have another sleepless night as I continue to search for a dispensary that can accommodate my busy schedule and keep their word.

Megan is awesome and so helpful! Love coming here. Never a wait and never an issue! Their quality is always on point and their prices are even better. Worth the drive!

I have came to this dispensary many times before and I've always liked the services this place provides  and the herb selection  is great and I've never had an unfortunate experience here before from security to the staff members they have been great and courteous. I've always known their hours of operation which you can find them on Yelp and Weedmaps which states that they close at 10pm. I got there at 9:50pm and the two women that apparently were closing had already locked the doors and were standing on the other side of the door which I could clearly see them and they ignored like I wasn't there. I understand it's late and people want to go home early that wasn't the issue. My issue is their poor customer service they could have could have easily  acknowledged me and said hey sorry unfortunately we are closing already or something since it wasn't 10, I would have understood that. Instead they ignored me and were laughing and giggling while they were walking out and locking the door and as I walked to my car.The hour policies should be updated since they close and locked their doors at 9:50pm instead of 10 as posted. Overall I was disappointed on how I was treated as a returning patient and paying customer.

Well. They are extremely communicative. They hop on their delivery orders right when they open, on the dot. A lot is to be said and admired when a business respects its customers enough to be on time. The regulations on businesses allow that your complaint to the Better Business Bureau be heard, and responded to by a robo-asshole, but nothing but increasing the number of complaints on the internet, to be seen by all who visit its page (on BBB's page). I have put in many complaints over the years for the benefit of having that paper trail, but otherwise; and if you want solutions and resolutions.. ...Well, I don't know what to tell you. Maybe, think of the time and money that goes into litigation before jumping the gun (you wish).This place has the most vast assortment of the brand of tomorrow, like the Dispensary Superman visits, Connected Cannabis Co.  HCMA also has every strain in pre-rolls and individual non-pack pre-rolls, unlike any other delivery Cannabis Dispensary in Greater LA.

The staff are really really rude I tried to referMy friend here and she went in at 9:50 & the girl refused her and said they stop at 9:50. Terrible service. Used to be the nicest staff ever really went downhill.

I only stop here because it's on the way to where I'm going. I would never go out of my way to come here. Too overpriced. You'll pay 20 bucks for what cost 10 bucks everywhere else.

This place by far has the best house flower I have ever smoked and the prices you can't beat. The customer service is impeccable!! Especially the employee Dulce. She always finds the best strain and best price leaving me happier than ever. They make sure I leave with exactly what I wanted. Who wouldn't want to go to a shop at a place that makes you feel welcomed, accommodates your need, and again with prices you can't beat. YOU MUST COME HERE! (Does kind of suck that weed maps says one thing but the store says something else.)
