Love Buds & Roses they have definitely implemented COVID-19 safety protocols which made me feel very safe. The service is top notch. Sam is my go to, he is the best and so knowledgeable of their products, never disappoints. I been to other dispensaries that just sells, no explanation of what it is or does, but this one is truly a medicinal dispensary and has helped me especially during this trying time. Highly recommended!!!

The place is swanky, the people have swagger, they don't make you wait, they give you no hassle, there is a younger vibe than most other dispensaries, but still mature and a cool crowd of people who seem to be doing things and bring a high energy vibe to the quaintarea of Studio City between Fulton and Coldwater. I loved this place and their products.

Staff is always friendly and they have a great point system. Being able to place orders online is great, sometimes they have products online that are not In store so my order has been cancelled before. Overall good place to shop and a great experience.

Nice place.  Front-desk host needs a bit of training to be customer friendly.  He was a bit of a douche.  Budtender was gracious, friendly and very knowledgeable.  She was amazing.  She knew her buds.  She'd be the only reason I'd return.  Other than that, very tiny store.  2nd visit...Funny, front desk guard was extremely nice this time.  The female budtender was a bit bitchy.  I guess the mood swings back and forth there daily.

Customer Service is great from the moment you walk in the door. All staff wear masks and the store is set up to observe social distancing. The property is clean and very well maintained. The product is great and the selection substantial. The staff is very knowledgeable and helpful. Easy to find and easy to park. There only place I go.

Although our first experience here came with some hiccups, e.i. a clone that died the next day, the owner tried to make sure we were taken care of with a replacement. However even that came with more headaches. After months of waiting for a replacement, we were finally promised a new specific strain that we were very excited about and this time when we went in to pick it up no one in the shop had any idea what we were talking about and they did not have the strain we had been promised. In an effort to wrap this up we just took home a replacement of something else. The shop seems like a good place, but whatever they are dealing with internally is affecting their bud and their customer service. Hopefully things calm down for them and they can get back on track with their employees and grower.

I've had continually great service here.  Even if there were issues, they always made it right.  Sam, is a cannabis PhD!  He suggested a tincture for my wife, who has arthritis in her hips, that was miraculous.  He spent a lot of time with her, and what he recommended really worked very well.  Great place, and very good staff.

I was having bad shoulder pain from a car accident and was referred to Buds and Roses by a friend.  I was told to ask for Sam as he would be very knowledgeable with CBD oils. I was reluctant at first since I'm in my recovery going on 7 years clean and sober and didnt want the getting high effect.  Well needlessly to say once I got there Sam helped ease my concerns as he thoroughly explained how CBD oil works. I was very pleased on how knowledgeable he was. I ended up with a product he uses and highly recommend.  This product has been a tremendous help with my day to day activities and has helped me with my sleep at night as i couldnt bare the pain. Buds and roses is a clean and professional environment and would highly recommend it!

I really like the service. The only thing that sucks is that they don't have a policy for the seeds that don't germinate.

I chose this spot because it was closest to my house. Going there was the first time I ever purchased weed legally in the 60 years I've been enjoying this gift from the gods.  The staff was very friendly and kind as the many choices were explained to me.  I like that you can buy single grams of bud if you want to sample some of the many varieties.  From grams to 1/8s, it all comes in nice glass jars that I reuse for storing spices. There are specials everyday.  I like Mondays because I can get a 15% seniors discount.  That kinda offsets the bite all the taxes legal weed generates.  I have no hesitation in recommending this store for service and inventory.

I have been going to Buds and Roses for several years and this dispensary has really gone down in quality. This place is horrible now. I have a cancer patient at home that got sick using their product. They sell their products with mold and won't give you a refund or exchange and don't care about their customers. Please save your health, time and money and go to a different dispensary.

I am not someone who consumes a lot of weed. I originally started coming here for my father to get him CBD oil for severe inflammation that was affecting his ability to breathe, and they were able to help us find something that helped him. Since then I have gotten myself low dosage edibles that were suggested and work great for me. The place is clean, protected, reasonably priced as far as anything I've purchased, and while not all the sales staff are "made equal", there definitely are some standout ones who know their stuff and can help you find anything you need.

I love this place. The staff is so friendly and welcoming, ready to help and super informative. Taylor was so kind and showed me multiple products curated to what I was looking for and was so patient and nice. They have smaller selection of GOOD stuff, there is no wading through cheap product to find the good. Can't wait to go back!

Ok. This place is what you want in a dispensary. The set up is simple like a bakery counter. You can see everything and the staff has knowledge to drop on you. I had been going to Perennial because I'm in that area more and I really liked the original set up. Sadly they revamped to a sort boutique-y Apple Store vibe under the name Sweet Flower. I'm a Buds and Roses guy.

I only go to buds & roses now that I found it! Everyone really knows what they're doing and is so friendly. You can tell their products are high quality. Also, even with COVID, I feel really safe with all the safety measures and protocols being followed. Masami is my fav bud tender--he is so knowledgeable and explained to me everything I need to know about cannabis! Cannot recommend them enough, thank u so much buds & roses!

Good product - TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE! I literally cannot even believe the experience I had here... and I am not even one to write reviews. RYAN is a complete hot head. I simply asked very nicely for a breakdown of my bill because the taxes added up to be a little more than expected... which was totally fine, I did order a lot and was okay with the price. I was just asking for a breakdown. He started getting an attitude with me abruptly because I was asking and he then proceeded to say, and I quote: "you can keep complaining but it's not going to change anything! Your card has already been charged." WOAH. I laughed in genuine confusion and disbelief at his sudden attitude and looked at him and said, "woahhh, you are rude." He then started yelling at me and told me he knew I would be trouble from the second I walked in the door. Not sure what that even means - but I'm a pretty average looking person. ??? LOL. Although I am a lesbian so maybe that's what he meant! Honestly, everyone else was very nice there so I apologize to them about this negative review. The security guard was a kind man and so was the other gentleman who helped me refund the 20% tip that I had JUST given this asshole. Never going back there again and definitely not recommending them to anyone... hey Ryan, fuck off. :) To all my other locals, if you're looking for a caring dispensary, I recommend going elsewhere. Especially if you're a part of the LGBTQ+ community.

Love this place. The budtenders are very knowledgeable and helpful. Came looking for a cbd strain to help me with the pain from a tumor removal. I had been on opioids for almost a year and it was painful to try to get off of. With the help of Sam, he helped find the right combo to enable my transition to being opioid free. The strain he suggested was EVE and critical cure (team elite genetics). The withdrawal I had was minimal, aside from the sneezing, and was able to kick them to the curb. Also the hybrid ice cream cake by embers valley is amazing too.

Buds & Roses was the first place I tried when it first became legal with a doctor's recommendation.  Now years later, when I've tried many other places along the way, they are hands' down the number one when it comes to knowledgeable budtenders.  Hands Down.Then there is the product.  Top shelf, Premium.  That's all I've ever gotten from there.They taught me from the very beginning that real aromatic, carefully grown flower was available, so when I did venture out to other places and they had me sniff their product, I had already experienced really superior quality and knew when to say no.As for the budtenders, they don't just know the general effects of what they sell, they are educated about the chemistry of products and what ingredients mean what.  I have learned so much from them and how to choose my most satisfying bud!  And their knowledge extends to all their products.I do like to save money, but when it comes to my pot, quality and knowledge score higher than a couple of extra bucks.  I don't blame the dispensaries for the gruesome taxes added today, but I say since Bud's & Roses has such excellent, quality product, great budtenders, reliable and environmentally conscious growers, and is run in a forward-thinking way (seriously, read about the company) let's make them successful enough to eat some of that tax for us!!  Yeah!!  In the meantime I'll keep enjoying my pot from there.Finally, they have parking in the rear which is great on such a busy street.  There is even a parking attendant!

I was apprehensive about going into a dispensary to get CBD - I know next to nothing about cannabis, and the few dispensaries I've gone into have all had employees who seemed apathetic and disinterested in helping me choose a product. However, I left Buds and Roses practically feeling like an expert on CBD. Barrett took the time to explain all the different types of CBD available, administration tips, and  how to find the right dosage to help with my stomach issues. He was incredibly warm and professional, was attentive to my concerns about using CBD, and had all the answers to questions I didn't even think to ask. Very glad this place employs someone like him - I will definitely be back.

I've been coming here for while now and it is always a marvelous experience. Everyone is so knowledgeable and helpful no matter what strange question I have for them. Sam is the first person to help me and he put me at ease right away and explained every product I pointed out in a helpful, approachable way. I should have reviewed them on day one, but I'm glad I can sing their praises after many more happy trips.

The first few times my wife and I shopped here I was impressed with the quality of their flowers (sense cultivators) and with the storefront/ retail experience.Unfortunately i had a terrible experience shopping here last weekend. The bud tender was polite but persistent with his recommendation for a specific type of flower. I thanked him but ordered a different selection. He rang me up and told me the 1/8 would be $84 dollars. I paid this OBSCENE price because i was in a hurry. When i got around to opening the container it was clear i was sold something different from what i ordered. I checked the label to find I was sold the flower that he had recommended instead of my selection. I returned to see if they could help - this time with a different bud tender. He said "theres nothing I can do since you opened it". After politely trying to get him to see things from my perspective he said "my manager would never approve that". His manager wasn't available to talk either.I don't think I can ever shop here again after this. Seemed like a terribly short-sighted way to handle a problem with a returning customer.

I hardly ever review anything, but in this case I feel compelled to warn anyone who might consider this place for clones or seeds.Really the absolute worst place. Expensive, questionable merchandise at best.No descriptions for products listed, inventory not updated. Two out of two clones purchased were sickly  (caught it before they infected my other plants or it would have taken out all 6). Last year 1 of 3 was sickly. Only three out of of six seeds purchased there germinated. Avoid like the plague / it is the plague.Bonus: Careless joyless knowledgeless workers.Update: they offered no discount for replacements.They are now making me wait 1/2 hr to get in (so I can tell them how much they suck in person).Hell on earth. A holes basically.(Security guy is nice though).

I was an avid customer here and I have gotten some amazing genetics, but it's a trap. I went in 2 months ago (finally got around to reviewing this) but I got CLONES with POWDERY MILDEW. NOT OK. I even looked at it in the light in their store. But as soon as I got out of the store, I saw in the sunlight that there was freaking PM on my Papaya clones. A refund doesn't make them good. They should have no problems preventing mildew in veg. I returned all clones I got. PM is a garden ruiner. They almost ruined my garden

Terrible customer service. Spotty supply and they are always out of stuff. Way overpriced and there point system never works. I hate coming here and only do so because it's so close. But will do the extra drive whenever I can to avoid this place.

I cannot express enough how happy I was with the consultation I had with Barrette at Buds & Roses. He helped me understand the cannabis that would best fit my needs and really just took his time being both professional and personal. A lot of the time you meet really snobby/stuffy people in the cannabis industry who are just trying to sell you product (as with any industry) however Barrette was far from that, which I loved! He didn't make me feel dumb for my lack of understanding. Every question was answered in a kind, warm tone and very thoughtful. If I'm choosing to purchase your product I want a great experience and that's exactly what Barrette provided. If you want someone who's well versed and likable I highly recommend Barrette!

At the end of 2017, I posted a glowing review of this dispensary.  My first experience was wonderfully helpful to the point where I brought people with me on occasion.  Well this past 2018 420 weekend that ALL changed, because the quality [in several areas] of this dispensary has changed.  Besides Yelp deleted my glowing review and switched it out for the "updated" review, when my intension was to have them side by side.You'd think that 420 would be the time to hire really smart and helpful bud tenders but NO!! Unfortunately the quality of bud tender has gone way down at this dispensary.  The dispensary experience starts and stops with reception and the bud tenders. As people are already trepidatious about visiting the idea of medical cannabis for whatever reason and the faces are changing, WE NEED EXTRA CARE!!The only reason I gave this second review only two stars is because SAM is still a bud tender at this dispensary.  Only ask for SAM otherwise your experience will be underwhelming.Really, these new bud tenders you all have now must become educated both on customer service AND cannabis education probably taught by SAM.  That education should begin immediately!!  B&R used to be one of my favorite dispensaries, but now I've found two others not far away that surpass in total experience.I thought the day of the "eye candy/front office/cute" bud tender was over, well my experience yesterday proves that it is still on an a wide spread problem.  If looks is why drives sales, consider looks and brains.Really, really disappointed.

I been going here for years. Before recreation was the thing to do. I got clones here in 2015 and still have the same cut that's super fire. On my recent visit in March 2020 I got some connected outdoor flowers that were full of mold. Impossible to smoke and honestly a insult to any grower who has EVER GROWN and a slap to the face to any medical patient. I been growing for 10 years and consuming for around 18. I'm really not sure how you can grown such horrible product as I haven't seen any this bad in many many years.  When I reached out a few times was told to contact a manger via email to see if my claim was "liget". Never heard back from my last 3 emails. Guess they don't care about patient health anymore so I won't be going back. It's a shame what rec has done to this place. I hope PCG finds a better place to drop IMMEDIATELY.

Great overall selection of just about anything you can imagine. This is my go to dispensary in the area.

First visit was yesterday. Courteous parking attendant and plenty of parking to the rear of the store. After entering a very nice but formidable man asked for my ID. I waited 5 seconds and was invited into the main store area. The knowledgeable and courteous woman who helped me made my experience memorable in the very best of ways. Thank you Shelby. I'll be back!

Just moved to the area, most expensive cannabis taxes I have ever seen. GREED AND WEED DONT MIX! No FTP deal, just straight up taxed! My total came to 230$ but after taxes I was in the 300$ range, not worth it, go somewhere else.

Overpriced, RUDE and very limited on selection. I will never go back. I went with a family member that is disabled and they would not let me be with them to help.  Also the tender did not know what he was talking about.

Personable and knowledgeable bud tenders, excellent inventory, and an inviting ambiance. Buds & Roses is the only dispensary I patronize. I was surprised when I visited Buds & Roses for the first time yesterday that they didn't have any CBD products. I'm looking for pain relief - not to get high. It's too bad since I live a block away.Edit - I got an email from the owner telling me they did carry CBD products. I don't know why the employee told me otherwise. But I returned and was treated well.

I use to love this place but they have new vendors and are never fully stocked. The bud is not as good.....really hate this...they were my favorite spot for the last 3 years. The staff is always friendly but the product is not the same. They don't even have variety like back in the day.

Stay away, their prices seem reasonable but the catch is they add on a ton of taxes, my product went from $19 to $25 and change,  I believe the guy said it was 33%, he tried to explain what all the taxes were. I call bullshit!!!! Too many other place to go like SOCC much better place.

This place sucks! Don't shop there!! Buyer beware! I'm a medical patient who drove 25 miles to this place because they have seeds. Additionally I purchased buds. The seeds were guaranteed female but all were male. I asked for a refund or a replacement and got ZERO customer support. It's been almost a year and they've done jack!

Good place close by, a little pricier than some places but their products are all top notch.  Staff is generally great, but once and a while I get someone who seem like they don't want to be there.  All in all, it's a good spot and I will be back.

Clones are super iffy here... last diaganol bubba clones had PM. Stock is always limited... never what the website says they have. And some people have to drive quite a distance to have a so-called bud tender sit there smiling at you saying I don't know when we're getting more... She has zero idea how important clone availability is for growers... time to find a new clone source

These are my go-to guys for herb and anything related to cannabis.  First off, real professional and clean, but totally chill.  You walk in and the staff is super friendly, especially Larry, the head security guy.  He makes you feel like you're his bff right off the bat.  The bud tenders inside really know their product.  Especially Sam. They know all the medical benefits and effects of every type of product they have.Their selection is insane.  Lots of different types of flower and every other type of smokable, edible or consumable cannabis.  They even have actual plants during planting season.  They only thing is they're a little pricey, but there is a good range.  Lots of cheap (but still really good) bud, alongside the top-shelf shit.  The range is $40-$60 for an eighth.  Sometimes they'll even have a $35er in there.  They give out lots of free extras if you buy more than an eighth.Anyway, check them out, get hooked up and get super baked!

Was the competition for many years! Since I can no longer grow my own and this business is not easy, I'll leave it to the professionals. The staff is friendly and never rush me out, always spending time to explain the genetics and growers' philosophy. Since I'm a disabled veteran, the discounts save me a lot. The lower priced bud is usually very good and they carry a nice selection of affordable quality nugs. Of course there's a wide range in price and strains and I'm sure you will find exactly what you are looking for. Thanks for being 's & 's!

Came here six minutes before the business hours they have posted 9:54. Door was locked and I received a motion to basically get lost. Won't be coming back.

High quality veganic flower, veganic concentrates, clones, seeds!, lab tested edibles, topicals. Very comfortable environment for anyone of any age or gender. Feels like an holistic clinic or a spa rather than a dispensary. They do charge sales tax, which surprised me. Valet parking and discreet security. Knowledgeable budtenders.  This place isn't cheap, but you will find carefully grown medical strains here that are free of environmental pollutants and which smell gorgeous.

My 23 y/o daughter took me to Buds & Roses yesterday. Truly an amazing experience for me. When I started buying weed, you bought a nickel bag for $5.00, granted, it was mostly twigs and seeds, but boy, things have come a long way. Everyone was so nice.  Starting with the valet, to the wonderful folks in the front and then into this amazing room. Obviously my first time in a dispensary.  I've suffered from depression for the last 15 years and my daughter felt smoking might be better than the drugs I take for it. The young lady that helped with all my questions and concerns was so knowledgeable and helpful. She listened to everything that I was saying, never felt rushed, she was absolutely lovely. So glad to have discovered this place and look forward to many more visits.

Buds and Roses is awesome but can also be a letdown. Their clones are hit or miss. I grew their Bubba Diagonal, Oakland Purps, Double Dream, dosidos, Zookies, and Wedding Cake. All came out absolutely insane and amazing. If you would like to check out my grow then click the rollitup link. I show the grow from the beginning of flower to the end. Only for some of their strains that I picked up from buds and roses in sherman oaks months ago. Oakland Purps, Bubba, Dosidos, Zookies and Wedding Cake are insane. However, I picked up over 120 bucks in clones this last batch about 3 weeks ago and I had to trash them ALL within 3 days because of PM. The Legend OG showed signs of PM within 36 hours of pickup which is totally unacceptable. PM takes at least 3 days to develop and most PM strains are systematic and live inside in the plant. They sold plants that were already sick with PM in their system, one plant even had it on the bottom of the stems. I was shocked and sick and sad to possibly lose great clone connection. Thank God the clones never made it in the flower room. I already scrubbed the heck out of my clone room with vinegar and wasted hours to help clean the PM and prevent further contamination. I noticed that other companies recently stopped using PCG Genetics in favor of THC Designs and a few other companies. Maybe because PCG is getting sloppy on driving the clones down here??? Or is it buds and roses and the way they store the clones?? Sadly, IDK, but I was forced to purchase clones from Green Dragon in North Hollywood last week just because I can not be given money to companies that sell infected plants. This place was off the scales amazing . Found out about this place my second month living in LA from a co worker and honestly I haven't really gone anywhere else since besides a few but the others don't compare  . Best selection in my opinion of Buds and has a lot of award winners. The staff is very welcoming and knowledgable of what they have. Highly recommend!

REALLY disappointed with my visit to Buds and Roses yesterday. I had been once before and as a result of my first visit was so looking forward to this one.  Sadly, I was met with a very rude young man who basically refused to serve me. In today's climate...beyond not cool. I was waiting patiently for SAM to help me....the reason I came back quite frankly, because he is so knowledgeable and patient. He was taking awhile with his patient which again is why I wanted to see him so I was just kind of standing around. The rude dude acknowledges my presence after finishing with his customer, as though he is going to help, so I decide what the hell, I step to the counter and he says didn't you come in with her, referring to a friend who was getting sub-par budtender who knew no prices and had the energy of a slug...I affirmed yes and why does that matter?  You have to wait until she is finished and then that budtender will help you.  No you numbnut...her medical issue is not mine and neither of us should be treated as one.  Very unprofessional!  I MISS SAM!  Get it together B&R, I had recommended SAM and the dispensary to a friend earlier in the day. I called her back and said, go at your own risk of being treated poorly and not getting a consult that is beneficial.

I trek to BnRbecause even though I don't know what's on their menu (as it is not kept up to date), I know the money will be going towardactual medicine, connoisseur grade, every time, every price point. I picked up some 8th's of organic Candy Kush & Jilly Bean and vegan 24k budlets for 35$ ea! And 2 $45 eight's veganic L.A. Confidential budlets, and organic Dream Queen. With the buy 4 eight's get 1 free deal and my referral bonus gram (strawberry cough) I walked out of BnR very happy indeed. All excellent quality, as always. Now if only they were a bit closer...

been a faithful customer and so disappointed today, as I took back defective product and was refused help and told I needed to go 'directly to the manufacturer', even though I didn't buy it from the manufacturer, I BOUGHT IT FROM YOU.   With an eye roll and his chin resting on his palm,  He helpfully told me my other option was that I was 'welcome to buy to buy another one' at full price from them.    So here's my helpful comment:  just a reminder that there are many many many dispensaries out there, that will 'welcome' my business.

for starters, it's over priced. the bud tenders should be called bots. i asked about a strain that the Bud Tender was selling me and all she kept saying was, 'yeah, it's pretty like uhh, happy. yea it makes you happy.' I asked for an energizing strain to assist with my work.. She sold me 'banana punch' which knocked me out. would i go back? no. don't look for the bud tenders to know what they're talking about. they all have a script. and they'll save you the highest strain that doesn't fit your needs. there's better locations that's more knowledgeable. i won't say their names bc i'm not promoting them but i don't recommend Buds & Roses at aUpdate*** 12/7/19the owner asked me to email him and there was nothing done to right the wrongs lol he was more thrilled to fire his employee than to fix the underlying issue lmao. this place is a joke just as i wrote before. there's tons of legit cannabis stores in studio city that's worth your time and pocket

This is officially the most exquisite & amazing experiences I've ever had as at a dispensary! It is boutique style & so high tech! The people who work here are super friendly & knowledgable! You also get a gift for your first visit! & another one the next time for making a yelp review ;) hehe! Plus tons of extras along the way! It has valet parking which is free (don't forget to tip the valet tho! They're awesome & will even help you exit onto the busy street outside!) it has a ton of organic options so no more coughing from all those extra chemicals! Found my new favorite store along Ventura !!! Can't wait to come back!!!

Our first experience at Buds and Roses today.First, the reception area is completely inviting and so much fun. Enter, and it's a world of education, knowledge, fun and happy employees. Tian was simply amazing. She was so patient and knew exactly how to help and guide us.The entire experience was EXTRAORDINARY!A MUST visit for everyone from Clones, seeds, buds, edibles, oils and so much more. A chronic problem with people who smoke chronic. So their website said they had it. Called to make sure in case they didn't update their website. They were gone for a while but came back and assured me they had it. Drove through traffic from Northridge to studio city to get it. They didn't have it. They had something else similar and hadn't checked closely. Drove back to Northridge. Said bad words.

The staff is way friendly and knowledgeable about the industry. There are the very few collectives out there who care about the well being of their patients and our ailments. I highly recommend Buds And Roses for your medicinal needs. The facility is clean, organized, and they carry a large quantity of quality medicine, including veganics from Kyle Kushman. BNR has many topical products for pain like the Pain Eraser by Cannabee ...plus more! They also carry Bhang chocolates that vary with THC content, which are AMAZING and worth every penny for those pesky back pains... amongst other edibles that can only be found at this collective. This is one of my favorite collectives in LA! The staff is always very friendly which makes it easy to keep coming back in. They always have a great variety and typically have exactly what I'm looking for. Great location and there's always a friendly, and free valet to assist you with parking. Two thumbs up!

Stopped in here for the very first time tonight. What an overall impressive experience. I'm new to medicinal cannabis use, but I've been to a few dispensaries lately looking for some specific CBD products and I couldn't have been more happy about my experience here. Got there an hour before closing and yet was greeted by the front desk attendant in a happy and upbeat manner. He was so friendly and welcoming! The lobby is beautifully decorated and they've got a lot of nicely displayed awards. I was given a first time discount and informed of their other discount/special days. After entering, the budtender that took care of me was warm, patient, happy and smiling and very knowledgeable of their products and was able to zero in on what I needed immediately. She also informed me of other products that they'll have in stock again after the new laws/label requirements are finished and they're fully restocked on products. Everything is displayed in a classy and easy to see manner. I really felt comfortable here and will definitely be back soon! Thanks for being so awesome Buds & Roses...you rock! The staff is extremely helpful and knowledgeable of the strains they offer. I always have a good experience and love how they get me in and out! I feel the difference in potency and quality getting my bud from here versus other inexpensive dispensaries.

Friendly and knowledgeable staff plus top shelf affordable product make for a good business. Quick turnaround and they have a valet if you don't want to risk the street parking, although if you try eventually you'll find a spot.

Every time I have been in I have had a great experience. All the tenders are knowledgeable, very helpful and very friendly. I've been going here for a while now and I've made this place my go to. Happy they have later hours.

I came here recently and was impressed by the friendly and knowledgeable staff. The Asian gentlemen I spoke with knew a LOT about CBD, which is a welcome change from most of the dispensaries I've been to. Would definitely recommend.

A friend and I went here for the first time last week. It was a great experience out of the gate. The complementary valet was very nice and helpful. The gentleman at the front desk was warm and professional... not an easy combo.  In the back of the house, Sam took care of us and he was fantastic! We never felt rushed as we asked many questions and even repeated some. He was very knowledgeable and we both left with a variety of things to try. I will be a regular customer here for sure.

As an esthetician,  I can tell all you skin femme fatales this is the best place to pick up cbd face and body oils. Ask for Chelsea! She's a doll and a wealth of knowledge. This was my first experience. I chose to come here, because I always go the the restaurant next door. What a lucky choice. The front desk was so extremely helpful. She guided me through how to go about getting my license. I went in yesterday and was lucky enough the have the guidance of two gals in the back (Jenn and Tian). I am going in for a surgery next week and I also deal with intense period cramps. They put me on a great program to help me manage pain better. Tian even hand wrote me very clear instructions and explanations. Thank you all for your help!

I worked in the industry and have been to many dispensaries throughout the west coast. Buds & Roses ranks in the top of my list when it comes to flower selection, bud tender's knowledge of products, cleanliness, and overall vibe. I was thoroughly impressed with the workers positive attitudes which truly made my experience that more comfortable. The selection of flower was also quite impressive as most of their bud was grown in house while also boasting at least two Cannabis Cup winners. They also had a decent range of concentrates to choose from though I would have liked more CO2 options. Being a first time patient I did receive a Super Lemon Haze pre-roll as a gift, which honestly smoked smooth and wasn't as dry as most pre-rolls usually are. One huge plus about Buds & Roses is they do except debit cards as well as cash, with a $2 fee attached to the debit card transaction. Very convenient and considerate for all patients.I will definitely return and also recommend others to check it out.Stay medicated my friends.@Chuckie_Fuego

This place sucks.  There are many fine dispensaries in LA. This is not one of them. We were the only clients in this tiny place. Yet the ass "consultant", insisted we stand in a specific spot in the store, asserting the two foot counter before him held all their product.  We promptly left this kindergarten.  If there is a God , this business will die a slow painful death that even CHB will not help.  Save your self from the insults and go elsewhere. I would give less than one star if that were an option.

The guy loves to turn people away. So make sure everything is perfect He didn't let me in and my paperwork was fine , too lazy to verify I think. I was scouting the place for a couple of buddies and we never spend less than $100 a visit. Bad parking.

I complained about some clones I had recently bought and then deleted my comment cause I'm an honest man and I must admit when I'm wrong. I realized how amazing these clones actually are. So good I bit my tongue candy I couldn't  rest till I  corrected myself. Just got new LEDs and I had them too close and too bright. Simple as that. Had to dim them half way. Now, that's embarrassing. It's not right to bash a business, someone's pride and joy and livelhood just cause you're an idiot who thinks he knows everything. I learn every day and I have to accept the fact that I don't know everything. I was steaming at the time and I made a poor judgment call. I enjoy humility. Humility enjoys me. These reallyare  good and I'm not just saying that. Sour diesel and wedding cake. My apologies to the owner. I'm actually impressed with how strong and fast they're groing. These clones top Cloneville by miles. And I still think your budtender is gorgeous.

I usually visit Buds and Roses once every week or 2 and have been a good customer for quite a while. Today I showed up at 5 mins to closing and was given the sign that I would not be let in at the door by the security guard. I work retail and I know that you guys are all tired and want to count out and go home, but I'm sorry, if you are going to have your hours printed on your door, then you need to stick to those hours and honor good customer service straight up until the last customer is gone! I knew exactly what I wanted and would have been in and out just as quickly as y'all could make change and right at 8, if not before, mind you.I have continued to go to your Collective for the friendly and professional experience, even though I do know of better priced ones in the area, but I must say that I think that you just might have lost a good customer today.

Bought a few Dosist pens and battery went dead before being empty, they do not want to try to send the complaint to the manufacturer because it was already half empty and I was told that there is no warranty, which is not true and contacted the manufacturer directly.  Horrible service!

This place has the most educated staff I have ever dealt with. I went in with my mother for her pain management and the staff member spent over 30 min assisting her. I very impressed with their professionalism and the environment they offer.

clean and great upscale location in studio city/sherman oaks.  very well presented and a decent supply of flowers, edibles and concentrates.  prices are reasonable and maybe a tad cheaper versus my usual place in venice.  the staff were helpful in making recommendations for flowers that were stronger and more effective for sleep. bonus points for a great logo and swag.

I love B&R!  After having gone to several area dispensaries to get help with my specific issue (Crohn's disease) and finding no one knowledgeable enough for my liking, Brett was very familiar with my condition and without hesitation told me what I needed and why.  I got quite an education and left feeling excited and empowered.  If you've got Crohn's or other inflammatory bowel conditions, ask for Brett!Also noteworthy: Cassie, one of the budtenders, is a big help, too.  Everyone is super cool and nice, and their veganic strains are superb!  I compared their veganic versions to non-veganic versions of the same strain and they were smoother and cleaner.

This is definitely the best place to go! The employees all are so nice and informative. I could tell they really value their customers. The bud tender was soo nice and informative. They wowed me on my first visit and I will definitely be back.

the dude at the check-in desk thinks he's the door guy at some super-hot hard-to-get-into club. in other words, he's a jerk. as others have mentioned, this store is hugely overpriced, yes, even for stores on Ventura. and the flower is often stale. that's a travesty! there are a couple excellent long-time employees but they cant make up for the rest. i wont be going back.

It's all about the VEGANICS! Cannabis grown in organic soil with no animal by-products.  I've been coming here for years after a friend introduced me to Kyle Kushman's growing techniques and now it's the only dispensary I go to. Yes, the prices are a bit lofty compared to other dispensaries, but it's worth it. The staff is friendly and the location is clean and secure. The only drawback is parking. Sometimes there are a couple spots in the back with someone who guides you when you turn in, but if not, street parking on Ventura Blvd can be difficult.

Extremely friendly staff! They were well educated on their bud knowledge and also very welcoming. The vibe was super chill, I didn't have to wait long, and because it was my first time there, I recieved a free pipe! Definitely will recommend to others.

This is by far the best dispensary around. I actually drive 30 minutes each way just to come here. The customer service is top notch. I always have a ton of questions and whomever is helping me answers all of them and helps me select exactly what I am looking for. I never feel like I am annoying anyone. The selection is excellent. I love edibles and Buds and Roses have many different kinds and strengths to choose from. I have never been disappointed. Even if they are busy I have never had to wait for more than a few minutes. When I find a place that has great products and great people selling those products why would I go anywhere else. I highly recommend Buds and Roses.

I totally agree with the people saying this place is pretentious and cold. They have nice selection and they will take the time to explain everything, but I did feel condescension and didn't get a good vibe from both times I went.Last time I picked a very nice dark green bud that was affordable and looked decent (I have been smoking MJ daily in many places around the world including Amsterdam for over 15 years, so I know my shit) When I got home it was not the same bud I saw at all!They gave me a pre-scaled container with the lowest-grade bud I've ever seen... something I would have never picked out. Very disappointing. Dishonest and greedy. Never going back.

I've got to admit, I was really surprised by this place.  It's Kyle Kushman's dispensary.  They tout their "Veganics" growing methods, basically growing cannabis organically without using any products from animals, e.g. cow manure.  Now that I think about it though, winning awards from High Times when you used to (still do?) write articles for the magazine is kind of like having a shelf of elaborate trophies awarded by your Mom.I got lots of stuff, like I usually do.  I didn't like any of the pot.  None of it.  It was all a little too "hempy" to be the super dank.  Maybe animals and plants have a symbiotic relationship and kind of need each other after all?  I got a lot of wax too, but I didn't like any they themselves made.  Imagine that though, wax from weed you didn't like yields wax you don't like.  I only liked the Barry White CO2 oil I got in a syringe, and they didn't make that.  Their prices are high as well.The only thing that was 5 stars here was the budtender.  She was as hot as a Victoria Secret's model, but if that's what influences your choice of dispensary, you need laid.  Bad.

Came to this location for my first time today & everyone was AMAZING! Taylor, my budtender, was the biggest sweetheart of all time, plus being incredibly knowledgeable. They have an amazing selection of everything you need & the place is easy to find, clean, well lit and everyone is so friendly. I highly recommend the place!

Buds and roses collective is hands-down the best collective I've been to in Los Angeles so far. Their variety of  veganic strains and their plethora of concentrates is all overwhelming at first glance and you can't help but come back for more time after time.

Right as you walk in the lobby you get a brief history of the shop's owner and dude sounds like he's some pioneer of weed or something lol. Anyway..... Customer service and selection was AMAZING. Definitely one of the nicer clinics I've been to with affordable prices. I would definitely recommend other people to come (& not only for the special they give customers for referring friends to the store lol).By the way, the host at the front desk made it very clear...... "Shop closes at 8, SOOOO BEEEE THEREEEE BYYYY 7:3000.... because it gets extremely busy" lol. Hope this helps.

Went to Buds And Roses for the first time yesterday, per a friends recommendation, and it was every bit as awesome as he said it would be! Everyone was extremely nice and helpful, and I left with exactly what I wanted, plus a freebie for being a first time visitor! The location is great, and the facility itself is fantastic looking. Pulling Bait and Switch on the menu...having less than half the top shelf strains advertised on leafly or weed maps. The staff is rude and condescending. The flowers are so overpriced it's a complete disgrace. They're not compassionate towards patients, rather they cater to the needs of VIP clientele rappers and actors. They used to have decent deals and specials... Now it's over 400 for an ounce!!! I give 1 star for the valet parking.

Honestly my favorite dispensary in SoCal. They have a plethora of products and strains etc. very unique and have things I've yet to see anywhere else. The staff are all extremely sweet and helpful. I've never waited in a line nor have had a bad experience. I also love the location. They really appreciate and take care of their customers.

As a first time customer at any dispensary due to a recent back injury and terrible insomnia, I found the staff to be really kind and helpful and patient as I had a zillion questions and clearly had no idea what I was doing. I haven't smoked weed since I was a kid 20 years ago so I wanted to be clear about what I was getting and what to expect from certain varieties. I appreciated all the time they took and how sweet they were considering my "ignorance." It's also a lovely facility with free valet parking and a very welcoming receptionist.

They gave me a flat refusal on  a "compassion discount"  because I am unemployed and living under the poverty line and their hesitancy to give me a small discount because I am a senior citizen was annoying.  They prepackage their product instead of weighing it in front of you.  They claim quality control and sanitary issues.  I am highly suspicious since their prices are so high that they may be dishonest in other ways.  They have no special perks for their customers like other dispensaries do, giving away little things that make you want to come back.  They also charge tax unlike any other dispensaries I have gone to.  I would say these people are selfish, dishonest, money hungry and  lack compassion.  We are sick and hurting and do not need a dispensary that lacks empathy and on top of that takes advantage of us.

Sam was AMAZING!! He was very knowledgeable and friendly and creating a very dope experience for me; especially being a first time guest!! Would HIGHLY RECOMMEND this shop!!!

This is my go to club and the one that keeps me from exploring elsewhere anymore. As a longtime veteran of the dispensary scene and having grown for many years I can tell you that the quality of the Veganics (and most others here) are as good as it gets for quality. Kushman clearly has great cuts and skills in natural growing. Yes it is pricey, but you get what you pay for. Its not easy to grow without pesticides and chemicals so I will happily pay for the added difficulty. If you are just looking for some knockout OG etc, go elsewhere. If you are a connoisseur that demands perfection and is finicky about your smoke, this is the place. The staff is great too. They are always kind, patient, and easy to talk to as well as giving pretty solid advice and knowledge about their products.  The security guys are awesome too. Some of the best veganics strains are Strawberry Cough, Lemon Haze, Platinum Cookies, and LA Con. He has many others though and they usually also carry several different phenos of new crosses he is working on which is cool; however, they are not the most exciting of crosses of late IMO.My only minor gripe is that I wish he would expand his strains a bit to include something from the Northern Lights family and or a Jack herrer. They both have great medical qualities. He used to do some great C99 related strains like Vortex which were awesome but have disappeared lately. Anyways, this is about as good as it gets for an LA dispensary but don't expect goofy prizes or super cheap 1/8ths, its a high end shop with top grade clean medicine and a pro staff.

You know when you finally find a place where everybody knows your name? Well this is better than CHEERS! This is my fav collective in LA because the staff are bright; they know the business side and medical side of the industry. Veganics, what can I say. CLEAN and once you go Veganic, well, yea you know..They take debit which is helpful, always help me park in the back and I got some great clones here a few weeks back. A+ (James, Tian and Spain are always super friendly,  Sam is the OG) This is how it should be - take note LA, this is PRO!

Great product with even better customer service. I came here on Christmas night and was surprised they were even open but was so happy about it. Everyone was closed that night. The people were so friendly and def knew the background about each strain. Def will come back here soon!

This shop is the tops of the top.  Very high end strains and an extremely friendly and knowledgeable staff.  It is the best all-around dispensary I've ever been to.

This has to be top five cannabis dispensaries in the sfv. Amazing product from the flower to the clones to the concentrates. My favorite dispensary because the staff is so knowledgeable, their products are top grade, there is valet parking, and the wallpaper is cool! It's run by people who know the medicine and can give you proper advice for all your ailments. They also carry Foria products which I know the average place doesn't. Love this place so much I drive out of my way to go here instead of the ones in my neighborhood.

Well here is the author.  Don't be upset at me for my opinion.  I have had my perscription for over 3 years now, visited nuuumerous different clubs in different areas and found that your club, while neat, organized, and knowledgeable, overcharged for your product.  There are only a handful of dispenseries in the city which will charge you tax on your order and still charge more then the leading dispenseries in LA.Yes I have only made a few reviews, but how does that make me unreliable? Yes I have only made reviews for restaurants not in your area, but how does that discredit my review?  And as for the $5 off I got, when I came into your store, I was told I could have $5 for being reffered and a free "loli-pop" or 10% off.  I chose the 10% off, which after tax came to only $7 and i STILL paid $65 for an 1/8th.  Sorry if I tell it like I see it!  Since I have been a patient for over 3 years, I have been able to jump between stores in different areas, try different product, and become knowledgeable. Again, while your store may be clean, and your staff grounded, keep your prices to what it should really cost the consumer and not your corporate minded store.

It was my first visit to this collective...having only been to one other... They were in the process of moving to their new location. I'm VERY new to the world of cannabis...but I'm not interested in getting hooked on pain meds  either!  It was, actually, a very comforting experience. It seemed like every employee was there helping with the move .... including the owner! He popped his face through the opening in the newly installed drywall, and proudly described their hard earned awards & achievements ...and their practice of strictly vegan horticulture...  I also had neglected to pick up some cash before stopping there, but had random bills totaling $20...and wasn't sure if that was enough to make a purchase. I was pleasantly surprised by the affordability of their product.

Came here and service was awesome as well as the bud.   They help you out on what ever you need.   Highly recommend if you need some organic quality.  They also have the CBd for  people fighting cancer.  Prices are a little high but we'll worth it and they have some good tasting edibles with a good variety.   Clean facilities and a large staff so the wait is not very long and have water to drink and an ATM.  If your a first time buyer they can help with your decision to be the best choice for you.

Tight little spot to get award winning strains, concentrates, and edibles. They have huge veganic selection of meds. They are a little pricey, but, you are actually getting what you pay for here.They also have lower donation strains, They have won mad awards. Def a must check out for the connoisseurs.  The ounces are the best route to go here. I copped the veganic girl scout and the veganic kosher kush, I am very satisfied with my selection.Though the GSC won the award, I preferred the Kosher Kush, was soooo fire.  The sales tax is not figured into the donation, which I thought was weird. So an ounce of top shelf that cost 355 ends up costing closer than 400, but they do take cards if you didn't bring enough cash If you want see what the hype is about, stop by and try them out.

Ok this place has some decent product but the people who are behind the counter are kinda worthless. Seriously I like my bud tender to be a little more about what I want rather than what they need to move. Go for the indica and sativa pills. totally awesome but a tad over priced. Edibles are pretty good too. On the green side....I think they are lacking the quality needed with good buds. Very pretty looking product but I am not all about their veganics product line especially in regards to the hybrid buds. If you need edibles and dont mind spending the extra dollar or two this is the place for you.

hi everyone. today new years day my girlfriend and i went in for the first time. one of the nicer shops ive been to. normally im in orange county but buds and roses carries tga seeds.they are the only dispensary that does. nice place good free parking in rear . friendly knowlegeable staff. nice clean place with lots of variety . bought sixteen amazing lemon og clones. great price and great flowers. I recommend the jillybean strain.  i will go back for sure. and its a one hour drive for me.cheers.

Excellent shop! Friendly and professional . Nobody is a pot snob here. Just people educating others on how use these medicinal treats properly. Beautiful supplies and great selections. Others in town might be slightly cheaper but you get what you pay for and I wanted the best. Edibles are very affordable. The staff I run across the most is James, Spain & Jesse . These guys are great. I really appreciate the knowledge and guidance through their inventory. New things to try-they'll point you in the right direction . 1st visit today. Initial impression is, on the whole quite good.  They have strong relationship with specific growers, particularly Kushman Veganics ( kushmanveganics.com ). What I like about this  is the medicine's origins can be traced.  The top shelf (literally) leafy products are sold pre-weighed and in GLASS - nice touch; protects trichomes from what I've read.  They also have independent lab test information for some medicines.  The receipts are system generated and are detailed - I REALLY LIKE THAT. The only draw-back I can really identify is the parking.  There really isn't any.  Street parking in this area (Ventura bl, a block east of Fulton) is really tough.

I got some great Rare Dankness seeds from them which turned out a few seriously dank phenos..makes me wonder why they don't carry the Scotts og or Rugburn in flower form since they are so dank, and this is literally the only collective in Southern California that carries RD seeds (That I know of). My main gripe..I paid $200 for two packs then looked on the website to see they were supposed to be $90 or 3 packs for $225. I wrote customer service and got a prompt cool response from "Aaron" saying he would take care of me.

I'm a patient that has visited a lot of Medical dispensaries throughout California  and Buds And Roses is defiantly the Proven Cannabis Authority of LA. They have all the strains that are in high demand and all of their selection it top shelf quality! I recently met them at the High Times Cannabis Cup in Sonoma County. All of the medication is veganic grown so you can't go wrong with anything!!! If you don't trust me look them up. Award winning , Ledgendary !

They seemed really nice and knowledgeable until I had things go wrong.  Suddenly friendly turned into unhelpful and accusing.  I was accused of not buying something there and then accused of mishandling (both untrue).  Besides the fact that they would not stand behind their products, I was treated in a condescending manner and told that I must have done this or that, which I had not.  I'm standing there with about $100 worth or merchandise that I can't use and they are coping an attitude like that with me? Then they told me that the forms I signed explained that they guarantee *nothing*.  OK, fine, but at least be nice! There are way too many other places in the area to put up with this type of treatment.  BTW, I went to the website for the vape pen that I bought that only lasted around 10 uses.  Buds and Roses sells this for 25% more than the company sells it online.  Also, Buds and Roses told me that it was under warranty when I bought it. They suggested the pre-filled atomizers and not to fill the one that came with the pen.  Now the vape pen company will not give me a new pen because I didn't use their atomizer.  Thanks a lot Buds and Roses.  Buh bye.

I am not in need of a lot of medicinal cannabis but after having discovered Buds and Roses, I found the buying process to be more professional and helpful in deciding what type was best suited for my particular needs. Staff is friendly and parking is okay...just two spots in back during the day (a couple more open up after 5 or 6) but street parking is available and the neighborhood is safe.

I visited this place a couple of times and it was pretty great to be honest. Nice non tweaked out professional workers. (including security) great layout and pretty high-class for this grey area industry.I've been to a couple other joints before and I gotta say. The prices here are a little ridicules. Yes I know they are in studio city, But I can go down 3 miles to North Hollywood and get 2-3x more of the same strain for the amount of cash spent here.I must say however, they are EXTREMELY knowledgeable and very very helpful. If your a first timer you NEED to come here. They will spend 30 minutes with you explaining everything even if you tell them you have 10-20 dollars to spend. They are still nice and very talkative. You can see the love for their work.For the reviews talking about the tax's is kinda stupid. It's unlawful for business not to tax and I believe if people want the medical marijuana biz to be taken serious then they need to. The SKETCHY people out there are what's giving us the great deals without tax or regulations.amazing in the short run!  Bad in the long run (in my opinion)will I come back? probably not unless I am looking for something specifically....it's way to $$$if you need your medicine, and you don't have the extra funds, perhaps look else where.if your got the cash and looking for a high-class discreet dispensary, then this place is an A++

Great club. They are friendly, knowledgeable and professional.  The products are legit and top shelf. This is how a dispensary should be. Spotless, organized, researched and all presented in a no pressure no hype manner. Aaron took the time to explain every product I was interested in down to its origins. He knows the details about every item he sells. I was really impressed. Buds and Roses is located in a very accessible area on Ventura Blvd. in Studio City. I would recommend B & R to anyone. 5 stars.

The sativa dominant version of Dutch treat is fantastic and makes this place worth it, even though the bud is overpriced, they charge sales tax which is bull, and they dont have that much variety. But still u should go out of your way to go here just for the dutch treat cause no other place has the real deal Dutch treat #5 it's unique to this collective gaurenteed.

I've written a LOT below, but here's the brief version : This collective, its products and its Amazing Staff are the BEST for me, and I've compared several other collectives in LA County. All Staff Members at Buds & Roses are Friendly, Articulate, they Listen Carefully to their customers, and they are Very Helpful and Highly Informative regarding their extensive products and their consistently top-rated medical marijuana. Buds & Roses is a clean, classy store with a safe and modern reception area and separate sales room. Parking is tight on Ventura Blvd, but I've always found a spot, and there's also parking in back.           My sincere thanks to "SAM" (the Asian dude at Buds & Roses) as he's very patient, funny, hugely helpful, and highly informative. I'm a careful customer, and Sam impressed me with his open and friendly demeanor, his patience and humor, and his extensive knowledge and helpful explanations. He carefully listened to my concerns and provided great insight and wise recommendations. Extra points because Sam is a true believer in the substantial medical importance of marijuana, he's got real experience on this subject, he's NOT a "stoner" with a ganja job, and he has consistently participated as a vocal, articulate, and well informed advocate educating the public and lawmakers about the medicinal properties of marijuana.  "TIAN" also deserves special mention as she's another Buds & Roses staff member who's assisted me with great courtesy, extensive knowledge, and grace. I've listened to Tian as she's assisted other patients, and I've been impressed by her ability to carefully listen to the patients' questions and respond with exceptional insight and expertise. Don't get distracted by Tian's Runway-Model good looks - - as you will then miss out on the extensive knowledge she provides.   All the other Staff Members are equally OUTSTANDING. I learned a lot about them by how they interacted with other customers. ADAM, AARON and ABBY are amazing. No one "talks down" to you because they know more about medical marijuana than you do. Everyone here is 5 stars !         I waited several days to write this 5-star review for TWO REASONS :  FIRST REASON - I waited so I could be reasonably sure that the specific medical product recommended to me by Sam and the staff at Buds & Roses was in fact working for me. Sam recommended a product containing substantial "CBD" which is the therapeutic chemical in marijuana (as opposed to "THC" which is the chemical that gives you a "high"). I can now say "Yes", this "CBD" product has provided me with noticeable relief from my nerve damage and my associated daily and nightly pain and discomfort, while ALSO allowing me to remain mentally alert. I STILL have quite a ways to go until I'm reasonably healthy, but my condition is improving. Importantly, I had NOT been able to obtain this same positive medicinal result despite being treated by a small army of doctors in 2012 and from Dec. 2013 to March 2014, and despite taking numerous "standard"  prescription medicines, none of which worked for me or had bad side effects.Recently, while I was in the Buds & Roses' reception area, I met individuals who have been medical marijuana patients since well BEFORE the 1996 passage of Proposition 215. These highly experienced individuals informed me that they have used countless marijuana strains and checked-out collectives throughout LA County and elsewhere, and Buds & Roses consistently has top-rated and high quality medical marijuana, and the BEST staff. They should know.       SECOND REASON - I am myself NEW to medical marijuana. Yup. Therefore, over the past few weeks, I've read a LOT of information on the subject, and in the past several days I've visited many other Medical Marijuana collectives so I could compare Buds & Roses against other collectives. Based on my substantial reading, as well as my discussions with VERY experienced patients that I've met at Buds & Roses, and my recent visits to many other collectives, Buds & Roses is easily My FIRST Choice, and SAM and TIAN and all the Staff at Buds & Roses are 5 Stars !Obviously, I highly recommend Buds & Roses to anyone - - spanning from the highly experienced medical marijuana patient who knows a LOT about the different strains and potencies and wants the best medicine, to the "Newby" patient who knows nothing about medical marijuana and is seeking a collective providing a Professional, Safe, Modern, and Friendly atmosphere, where excellent advice, service and great product are provided by Very Knowledgeable Staff Members in an articulate, friendly and welcoming manner. I have been growing outdoors for 15 years. This year I found myself short of seeds, and so I went to Buds and roses, as they advertise these wonderful strains, and lots of seed varieties.Needless to say 140.00 later and 10 seeds, I went about my usual technique to sprout and start the process. After a few days I noticed nothing, not even a break in the shell. Ok give it a few more days....still nothing. After 2 weeks still nothing. I called the store and where I get they don't know me for anything , but there answer was basically SOL.WOW not a guarantee, not even a effort to replace a few seeds, nothing but sorry too bad for me, and they laugh all the way to the bank.Pretty store and storefront, but for me I will never be back again...the attitude was just terrible, and I felt, who cares if I ever come back...I will just be replaced by another consumer...who cares. I do...I work hard for my money and throwing away 140.00 is a lot to be treated like nothing.

Short and sweet - I have visited about a dozen collectives in the valley before finding Buds and Roses - The combination of staff, quality and location make it the best by a mile. I will not go anywhere else

I have a friend who lives in Studio City who recommended this spot to me. Went there for the "veganic" that is supposedly "award winning" and exceptional medicine. It looks pretty and smells nice when they pull out a jar of it, but their pre-packaged 8ths are a scam. First, the bud was so dry that it literally turned to dust when I took it out at home and tried to smoke it. Second, I noticed that there was another less potent strain mixed in with my 8th (nugs of something else were apparently thrown in my 8th to add weight and increase their profit). It was clearly not what I saw in the collective and was thrown in to pad their 8ths... which I paid $60 for and was exactly 3.5g's. Bottom line, there are numerous other collectives who I support that have 5g 8ths, for the same price and their medicine is fresher and weighed in front of me. For a collective that takes themselves so seriously with their "High Times" awards etc., I was expecting more. Don't take advantage of customers and maybe consider transparency when selling your medicine to patients who want what they thought they paid for.

Great spot!!! I stop in at least once a week and I'm never disappointed!!!  The staff is great, from security to tenders! I usually deal w/ Angela or Alicia who are both knowledgeable and friendly, and don"t make you feel rushed! I definitely like the selection and they always have good quality strains to fit your budget, whether its top shelf or not!!! No complaints here B and R!!!!

Well, the issue will be taken care of and it turns out to be just a glitch with the emails.  They have offered to take care of the issue and I now go back to the 5 stars that I had originally given them!  I am heading there now to take care of it and will add on to the review how well it is handled.Update:  I went and they took great care of me and the issue! Super friendly and helpful.  I will be getting my clones from them from now on, even though they are not so close.  I probably will get other goodies there too!

No one that works here knows anything about the strains. Discounts they promise are never given. Seeds from here are not fresh and therefore germinate at a very low rate (20% at best). Clones usually sick. Never returning to this movie-set version of a dispensary. Regarding the owner’s comment below: Every time I reached out I was completely blown off. In fact, I contacted them immediately with each of the issues above. Not one of the issues was resolved, no one offered me a refund, an apology, a replacement, nothing. A complete lack of ownership of any of the issues. For example, with the seeds, they passed the buck / told me to contact Purple City. So I did. I asked them about the low germination rate and they said that the seeds you sold me were not of a strain they were currently selling. They, unlike Buds n Roses, took complete responsibility anyway: They sent me four 10-packs to make up for the one flatliner pack of expired seeds you sold me. See what I mean, folks? A movie set. With people acting real friendly and all (but IN NO WAY do they have your interests at heart). This is a vapid cash-machine of a dispensary, and your wellness is not of any concern.

Buds and Roses provides the highest quality medication. I say medication because I truly feel as though they focus on quality and purity. I highly recommend them for those looking for a real medicinal approach to pain relief. The staff is knowledgeable and professional.
