Great location very big and right off of Briggsmore. Good to see  a big brand step foot I in Modesto and help the medical and recreational users so they no longer drive to Sacramento or the Bay Area for cookies.

Nice layout but service was horrible! Person spent more time on her cell phone then helping.

Customer service is absolutely trash. I bought a cart and it didn't work. I go the next day to exchange it and they say they can't help me?? I spent $45 on a cart that doesn't work and you can't do anything for me? Wow. Never coming back after all the times I've came and supported them.

Y'all , The future has arrived!! It was the cleanest setup I've ever seen. Looks like an Apple store meets some kind of futuristic pharmacy. No seedy staff or dimly lit rooms. In fact the staff was some of the friendliest and most knowledgeable people I've ever met. Passionate and helpful but without that pushy-sales-vibe. They have it all too, from drinks to vapes, edibles to wellness products like bath bomb and salts and of course lots and LOTS of good ol'fashioned green. I loved hearing about the different growers and their back stories from the staff, how cool to know this grower was once Biggie Smalls connect!! Cookies Modesto isn't just a dispensary, it's an experience!! Can't wait to try my Snow Montana when I get home!! Thanks Cookies Modesto :)

This store is a joke. Unprofessional. The bud tender told us three different prices for an eighth. Something fishy with their system. The thc percentage and quality and prices don't match up. First and last time there. NotImpressed. Walked out with nothing and drove to another store.

Very nice store but horrible customer service and literally feels like an airport . Do not come here unless you want your privacy invaded. Had to check me for all my devices and even scanned me. When did Cannabis become so strict ?? Not cool

I'm just mad. I place my order around 6:50 PM and received a message saying that the order has been confirmed at 6:51 PM...It's 9:36 PM and they close at 10:00 PM how long do I have to wait to pick it up? A whole month?  cookies dispensaries are just overhyped, prices are stupid high and the people working at the dispensary is just fucking retarded, everybody seems to be high as fuck. ‍I will neverr come back

They have the best bud in town, it's a must try but very high on prices. I would say that's the only backlash they high and never have deals.

This place is dope, the service was great and I didn't feel pressured to purchase or leave. They even encourage you to take photos and videos!

We come here because of the variety of selections but the service is always a hit or miss. It's either really great over the top help or really bad like who hired these Jcats. And lately it's just been really bad. the new hires are uneducated on product or there inventory. one employee down played raw gardens as a cbd base product with little to any thc in there cartridges and said it's a waist of time if your looking for thc. I picked a product up to read the packaging and she gave me a 2-3min lecture on why nothings to be touched in the store. then today this guy was looking for help in cartridges as I was too. The employee explained how some are half grams and it's better to get two carts to have a full gram because most carts fuck up and stop working halfway through it anyways. So the customer got two carts. Then that same employee helped me and look everywhere for the couple items I wanted and told me there all sold out. but it says they had it online. So I settled for something else but he stopped helping me to help someone else that started arguing with the other employees there that were just as clueless as this guy. so now I'm just standing there with no help so I left and asked the girl at the door for help instead. I wish I knew her name but she had unique make up by her eyes. So everything that guy said was sold out, she found for me and ultimately saved the day. But Because of service lately I'm going to start shopping around elsewhere and give this place break to get there shit together.

Very clean and ambiance was welcoming. Sandy took care of us and answered every question we had. She truly was a doll  it was quick, easy, and they had a great range of products. Will definitely come back !

Nice vibe inside and out. It felt like walking into an Apple store. Staff were friendly and all ready to jump in and help you out. Went in specifically looking for Cereal milk and they were fully stocked. Yes, it's pricey but to those negative reviewers that touch that subject.. did you not check the menu before going inside? You get what you pay for, quality and the Cookies brand name. Great concept with the view/smell pods. I even picked up a gpen, only downside was they had just ran out of pods for it. A day later I saw they had received another shipment on their IG, I'll be back for one. Cereal milk held up to its reputation by the way.

Would of given this place no stars if I could. This place SUCKS!!! Worst customer service ever. Never coming back.

Very expensive compared to Phenos which is right down the road.  $7 difference just on 100mg candies.  They have nice displays but no price labels so U have to find an employee to ask for prices.  Tedious.  I'll stick to Phenos for my needs.

Like the reviews shows don't keep track of shit. They just pick whoever walks up first with no regard. I had a massive order 40-50 people smoke out but phenos was too busy and I thought I'd give em a chance. Welp there goes some bands for them. Loser

Nice store great products but they miss price items then refuse to give the posted price  the posted prices they had a oz on for 168 and after I said I want one they said sorry the price was for the half oz and that they made a mistake.   Sorry but just lost my business   Being deceiving and dishonest is not cool

Make sure to bring exact change when placing an online order. They confirmed one amount online and charged a higher amount when I arrived.

My girlfriend and me and her mom went in today to buy a half gram cartridge and they had showed them to us and said they had them in stock so we go to check out and the lady working the register today I have no idea what her name is but she's skinny and short with black hair was the rudest person I've ever come across in a dispensary. She sat there and argued with us and the proceeded to look at us a smile and roll her eyes in our faces. She needs to be either retrained or fired. I never ever write yelp reviews but felt like I needed to today. It was our first time being in there we drove a whole hour to be disappointed by the lack of customer service. We ended up buying nothing. As we were walking out the door I looked over and saw her roll her eyes again. We won't be returning.

Since the laws changed I've been trading at a shop across town from where I live. I'd always considered it to be somewhat of a Journey.  They'll remain nameless.  I discovered Cookies today.  I'm now berating myself for driving all that time when a far better shop is almost within walking distance.You'd have no idea of what type of retailer it is from outward appearances.  A tasteful neon image of their company logo and their name is it.  You enter and your first impression is of a high-end retailer of perhaps electronics or even jewelry.  Anything other than a recreational/medical MarijuanaTHC shop.Cookies is ultra in everything but price!  They're top-notch all the way.  I'll not be doing any driving across town anymore.  If you're in town either as a resident,  a visitor or as a future resident or visitor Cookies is your only clear choice!

Well I will start with the positive... the place looks cool. Welp, that's the end of the positive. It is shocking that a corporate entity such as this would let their employees interact with the public THIS high. I have gone here about half a dozen times and every single time I feel the minutes passing by with an employee stoned out of their mind trying to figure out what they are doing. What should take 10 minutes max takes 30. It's almost unreal. The few times I have called to ask a question I got an unbelievably rude woman on the phone. Either rude or noticeably stoned employees... ugh. High CBD, low THC selection is poor at best.

Awesome store! Great selection of flower and beverages. Top sellers ST IDES. Love it and finally found it at the Cookies store in Modesto!

What can I say that probably hasn't been said before ‍ so here's my story (experience) ‍I placed an online order and left with less then half. 1st i get there someone comes out gets my id and $. I wait about 10 mins maybe 15 and he comes out saying, "the mad cows $4/ each, we actually can't sell you unless you purchase 8g for $74." Wwhhhaaattt lol ummm no. I asked him if I can instead replace it for the another 12 pack of selfies like the other one I'm purchaseing. He said , "sure, which type sativa, indica or hybrid." "Sativa please." I said.  "Okay, what fav wedding cake or fruit mango fav?" He asked. I said  "mango." Okay cool okay cool. Another 20ims go by he comes out again and says, "so, my boss, the owner of the store, said this was an error on our part but the 12pk is actually $30." I'm like "but your website says $15...?" I thinking, why didn't you say that before... Like 20 mins ago. I asked if they were going to honor the online amount the guy said yes but I can't guarantee the 2nd will be, okay. I get that that's cool. He goes back into the store i waited and waited 3 cars came and went and i still waited another 20 mins. I had to ask one of the other curb side attendees for assistances. She went inside to remind them I was waiting. Another 10 mins went by before the guy came out with my change of $37. I was confused and looked inside and said dude where is my 12pk he said ohh my boss said sorry but not sorry. Like are you fucking kidding me. I waited for 45 mins for this shit. Never again dude. The store is beautiful looking but the personality is a fucking lying bitch. #sorrynotsorryPS: Their prices online aren't accurate. #justsaying

Love the facility, love the options and love the staff. My wife and I have made Cookies our primary. Every time we go in we are met with friendly and prompt assistance. Over our last few visits our bud tender has remained the same, Jacob P., and he is AMAZING!! Always listens to our wants and needs and his recommendations are on point! His last (WYLD:PEAR) has quickly become our favorite and the experience is nearly identical to Jacobs explanation of it, which is so great. Even on days that Jacob isn't around we are still met with fantastic service and friendly staff across the board. HIGHly recommended!!

I have to say THIS IS THE SPOT!! Great customer service! And quick ordering process! Did I mention they have daily deals were you get the plug!! I always manage to make a stop on my way out from Antioch, and on my way back!

We all know that everyone builds their brand off the blacks of BLACK CULTURE and BLACK PEOPLE  for revenue and clout however they do not value or respect BLACK CONSUMERS. I've been here three times ALL THE TIME WITH A PURSE, all of a sudden today , a white lady walks in , rotten teeth, looking disheveled, unkempt  and no one asks to see inside her purse. I bring my BLACK A** in and was immediately asked for them to look into my purse. I told them no! You don't profit off of me or people who look like me and be discriminatory. Needless to say , I will NEVER return to this piece of shit. I supported only cuz the COokie brand is a person of color. But screw that ... screw this cookie franchise as well. I'll be opening up my own and spending money ONLY WITH BLACKS FOR NOW ON!

After stopping by Phenos, where there was about 30  people in line and only 3 bud tenders. So we decided to stop by Cookies in Modesto.We were first greeted by a security guard who as super friendly and asked us if we had been there before. We told him about the dispensary we had just left. He laughed and said that's like Nike. We're like Gucci.And "Gucci" level service we got. First of all, Jose stopped everything that he was doing to help us. On top of that, he was knowledgeable and very friendly. And the store is very well appointed...it's not crowded and cluttered with too many products on display like other places, which made it much easier to browse.Thank you so much to Jose and the rest of the amazing staff at Cookies in Modesto!

Best club for curbside!!! Hands down Krystal is the best budtender there, she’s such a sweet heart and is always there to help with a smile. I always recommend this place to my friends ?

Nice shop!! The young lady who helped me on the floor was AMAZING! She was new at the time, but was SO KNOWLEDGEABLE! I was there with my nephew who is a security guard on his day off. Totally went in with I'm not buying anything and by the time she was done I had to go out to my car and co.e back in and purchase something... ended up with the MOST AMAZING 1/8 for 78 dollars the most I've EVER spent on an 1/8 but it was TOTALLY WORTH IT ??
