I've been coming to this place since they've opened and I have to say the staff is excellent I had a issue with a cartridge because it was still a new thing for them for the shatters but they were able to replace it in a heartbeat for me and it was a pretty much a lifesaver because my anxiety was through the roof and they were very professional about it they didn't hesitate to give me a return or exchange and I just think that this is by far the best customer service that I've ever received and I will continue to keep going here only even if the prices go higher because quality over quantity
This is the best shop ever. Have visited many in Washington, Oregon, Sitka, and Anchorage. This one is my favorite! Flavorless tincture that is fantastic, made in house, very reasonable price as is everything in the shop, friendly knowlegable sales people. Love the new shatter pens! Always stop there when in town!
With so many cannabis options in the area little things start to matter. The majority of the shops in Anchorage will have decent flower, concentrates, and edibles so this is a moot point. I do like AK Frost's price point but price and location are not everything for me.Having said all that, it's the little things that matter. Almost every shop I go into, I am greeted with a smile and some form of interaction but not this one. I've been to AK Frost about 10 times and only once was I greeted with a smile (I do not write reviews unless I've been to an establishment several times, you never know the situation behind sub par performance). Most of the time it seemed like they were doing me a favor by selling me some product, but in reality, without my (our) business, they wouldn't exist so it's us doing them a favor (it's actually beneficial for both parties if you don't have a "guy").Obviously AK Frost isn't going anywhere because they have great prices and, for the most part, good product but I don't really care about price (to an extent) or quality of weed (every place has good weed), I care about the experience and what separates your retail shop from the other 18 retail shops out there. I will mention that there are two shops within 1.5 miles of your establishment and one of the those two shops has a loyalty program, great prices (better than AK Frost and possibly best in town) and they interact very well with everyone I've seen go in there. Unfortunately, I will not be going back, there are better and friendlier options in town. If you look on weedmaps reviews you will see that the staff is what a lot of people have a problem with.Sorry, AK Frost. I was hoping for better.
What a nice, clean, professional environment with a great selection and friendly service. These aren't your stereotypical stoners.
This spot was difficult for us to find but only because we arrived before they opened and their fenced parking lot was closed. Knowledgeable staff but unfortunately, not a great selection of edibles which is always my preference. Spouse was happy with the selection he received based on recommendations. We'll be back!
This is the place to go if you know what you're looking for , "high" quality product and good prices. The staff is fun and engaging. My new go too place!
Anchorage's newest head shop has only been open for a week or so, but already they're outdoing everyone else. They're prices are cheaper than anyone else in Anchorage or the valley, the have the biggest variety of strains (17 at the moment, some I haven't seen anywhere else) in addition to having concentrates and wax. They don't have edibles however. They do have some super cute, ultra-soft t-shirts though, in addition to glass pipes and water bongs. The store isn't nearly as snazzy as some of the other shops, but it's clean, well organized, and the staff are very friendly. We were super impressed by their pricing and selection. It has a huge variety like the shop out in Houston, but their prices are about 10 dollars cheaper (Houston has city sales tax.)Interestingly, my honey and I both thought that we knew the guy running the shop.... we both swore he was a physician that we knew from somewhere, but neither of us had the nerve to ask. I'm really dying to know, so I'm going to have to go back and find out what the scoop is.
Place seemed very friendly, clean, well organized. Staff were helpful with a recommendation when asked and all in all had a great experience!
I've been here a few times and always had a good experience. The tenders are sharp and friendly. I don't go here enough to become familiar with the tenders so I don't know how into the product they are.It seems like the menu changes a lot, because the menu is always a laminated piece of paper. Although they have a few menus available, when the store is busy it's difficult to get access to a menu without crowding someone. I like how AK Frost takes care to manage the number of customers in the store, but if menus were made available to people waiting to go inside it could benefit everyone.I'm going to make an effort to stop by here more often when I'm on that side of town. This is a great, low stress shop with a good selection.
I'm always interested in checking out the new shops. .well not new but new to me because I want to see the good quality everyone is yelling about. Flash pictures can make just about any old strain look decent. What I'm looking for is good flavor and smell, a well flushed flower and of course it needs to pack a punch. First off 50 bucks for an 1/8 is a much better price than 18 (sale prices) to 20-25 bucks for a gram. Now I will smoke some of what I got and give a better review....1 hour later:The strain we decided to try tonight is called Termination Dust heh. I have a weird breaking up ritual, I use scissors. I get asked why don't I use a grinder but some people get it and think it's neat-O speedo. I like to feel it and get a good sense of it's texture while I'm breaking it up. This strain is nice and chocolaty smelling, indica dominant, and is just dry enough, fairly sticky and trichrome covered. Very nice so far. Let's taste it. ..I got the green hit. It was very smooth and clean tasting. I could taste a bit of chocolate and herbal if I'm not wrong. I could immediately feel the effects 2 minutes into the first hit giving my body super relaxation and I know if my lid is lifted off this quickly, there's going to be a nice body high coming. Ideally because the price is really fair, I believe I will try more strains from here. Their hours are good too. Great prices and store hours that work for me will probably have me coming back again. Very excited to try more and I highly recommend.
Everyday feels like customer appreciation day there ????
Nice place many flavors. Some glass offerings. No THC above 30 though.
I love this place. They have excellent dabs on the cheap. Weed is pretty good too!
Take a frost is my go-to location when I want to find strains for $45 or less and still get a good quality bud. The staff is knowledgeable about the strains and I'm usually in and out within 10 minutes. I would recommend for the average user.
This is my Go To dispensary. I review a different dispensary weekly, but this is the place I ALWAYS get my cannabis from. Very nice dispensary with its own parking lot and some of the best deals in town! I can easily walk out with an oz and spend $200. With their point system and deals, I've walked out sometimes and spent like $150 for an oz! Super friendly staff, clean shop, nice seal packaging, and good cannabis. Check them out!
