Watsonville's 1st dispensary is doooooope!!! Awesome brand new cannabis dispensary modeled after Hook Outlet in Capitola, except this one has a retro 80's vibe with beautiful new arcade game-style displays. The Hook has the friendliest staff and the best prices in town. It's great to test out new products, especially when it's less costly. The Hook offers the best hookups and grooviest customer service.

Beautiful new location for a great business! I've been going to their flagship location in Capitola for a while now. Their stock can be somewhat limited, but for what they have, it's hard to beat the price!This Watsonville location is super new and nice. It's very open, spacious, and well-lit (pun intended). It's located conveniently off Airport Blvd. and there was plenty of parking in the lot when we came on Wednesday evening. We walked up to the front door, it was one of those split doors with the top half open and bottom closed. We checked in with the girl at the desk (Julia) who scanned our IDs and let us in. She gave us a little welcome and invited us to look around the front lobby area as long as we'd like, however if we placed an online order, we could bypass the 6-8 people standing in line and head straight to the "Express" Line. The main lobby room has display cases with sweet neon lights highlighting the various types of product they carry (edible, vape, etc.), as well as some old-school crane style arcade games with the ability to win actual product. Julia informed us that photos were allowed in the main lobby area, but cameras had to go away once inside the order/pick-up room. After getting some pics of the displays and games, we walked in past the line (of course I pre-ordered). As soon as the bud-tenders were done helping their customers, we jumped in next in front of the walk-ins. Richie helped us out and was super awesome. They had just run out of one of the items we ordered, though they had screens at each register with the ability to show you the inventory and walk you through building/editing your cart. I can not recommend enough that if you're coming to either Hook Outlet location ~~ PLACE YOUR ORDER ONLINE! ~~**Note that both locations have different inventory. The Capitola location is actually closer to us, however the Watsonville location had a larger selection of certain items. Julia mentioned that it partially has to do with some restrictions Capitola has on selling certain brands due to territorial conflicts. *ALSO, the inventory can change day-to-day. Something you see one day may not be there the next. Ordering online allows you to casually browse all categories and brands, save time by skipping the line, and also helps to know exactly what the grand total is (including tax) so you can make sure to have enough $$. ~They are *CASH ONLY*, but do have an ATM onsite.Everybody we interacted with was incredibly friendly and patient, I really appreciate not being or feeling rushed. I recommend asking questions and asking the bud-tenders for brand referrals if you're unsure. They deal with these products all day and often hear feedback (positive and negative) about the items they carry. I highly recommend checking out The Hook Outlet's new Watsonville location! The savings are worth the drive!!
