Meh. Pricey, corporate, with limited selection of products. I find shopping here particularly soulless and I walk away disappointed in how much I spent and how little I got. There are so many other independent dispensaries in the area, go support small business.

This place has fallen downhill since it first opened. The employees seem on the sketchy side and aren't as helpful as they used to be. Popular versions of products run out fairly routinely on Friday afternoon when everyone wants to stock up. The shelves are organized in a way that makes it almost impossible to know exactly what you're looking at: Pills? Drops? Vape cartridge?Edibles? Sativa? Indicia? THC percent? CBD percent? Origin? Nothing is consistently labeled and often is in such small print you can't find it. A kiosk computer with touch screen (or a smartphone app) would really fix this. Like Starbucks, I'd love to be able to browse and order and pay from the app and just pick it up.

Had a great experience. Ben was very helpful and made sure I found everything I needed. The store was clean . I'll definitely be back

Carlo is a super quick delivery driver. He showed up early than the specified time. MedMen always has the best collection as well. Fair prices and always friendly and welcome

This was my first time ever being in a dispensary. First time on a plane all in one week! I was welcomed from the moment I walked up the sidewalk. Very inviting and comfortable atmosphere. The staff had a ton of knowledge for any question I had! The fact that you can digitally interact with exactly what you are looking at is a wonderful thing! I would "highly"recommend this shop for any beginner or veteran! Keep up the outstanding job and customer service!

This is my go to dispensary, everyone who works there is friendly. I usually can find parking out front or nearby on a side street. MedMen has a great product selection from reputable brands, you know it's good quality.

Muhammad, a helpful bud-tender at Med Men was awesome. He helped me by making specfic recommendations for the medicinal needs I had. And his recommendations turned out to be exactly what I needed. Med men, in general is a fantastic dispensary. The staff are friendly, knowledgable, and are never "pushy."And there are a wide variety of products to choose from. Last thing: Prices. They are VERY reasonable at Med Men.

Colin was A+ budtender! Helped me from start to finish. From greeting me at the door to helping me browse, all the way to my final purchase! He was helpful without being pushy and super sweet. Side note...As a born x raised Venice girl, it's hard to get used to the new normal of recreational dispensaries. I must say, I'm stoked to not have to deal with all the cons of the low key (soon to be raided) cheaper spots. They all disappear within months for the same reason and getting inside some of them feels like visiting someone in jail lol. Nice to have some consistency.Thanks Colin! :)

The employees are very helpful. There's big selection but the store is on the smaller side, which I actually like, since some of the MedMen stores are rather large and can be overwhelming, especially if you're on a time crunch! Parking is easy on the street. Nice addition to the neighborhood!

Very corporate atmosphere -- imagine The Apple Store meets The Gap -- except with legal weed. These guys must have paid a kilo of dough to buy out the previous guys who were more Grateful Dead-ish in customer service and attire. The new "Med Men" look like they just got off a plane from C.E.S. in Vegas with their matching shirts that are so bright you need shades. They do have a large selection of chocolate edibles which is nice -- until you look at the price. The tax man is certainly getting his share -- welcome to the world of legalization!

Nice, but "soulless" dispensary.Decent array of products at over-inflated prices.In my opinion, MedMen is a greedy corporate cash (grubbing) cow.  Nothing more.* I wrote this review a week ago.  Today's New York Times (2/24/19) features an article which essentially validates my premise.

Never thought I would go to one of these things but my doctor sent me in for some CBD cream. It's like an apple store literally. But I was pleasantly surprised they were welcoming and not dismissive because we weren't regular pot users. Not cheap though.

This place is really very beautifully laid out. Clean and organized. It has to be though because the store is TINY. All of the bud tenders were very nice and helpful and wore a uniform. The last time I was here, despite appearing well stocked, they were out of almost everything I wanted!One thing though, DON'T GO HERE IF YOU HAVE A MEDICAL MARIJUANA ID ISSUED BY THE COUNTY, they won't honor your card because it's a recreational ONLY store.All in all, it's a nice clean store (mostly) stocked *if you're a recreational user*, but medical users should go elsewhere.

Got assist from Carla and she was very good and collected. She helped us find what we wanted also very knowledgeable about the different choices. Colin also helped my buddy out. The store vibe is great. I mean have you been to an apple store? Yeah but this is way better.

Honestly, they would be getting 5 stars if it wasn't for the headache I'm currently dealing with trying to get my money back from a duplicate charge. What could've been an easily handled refund has turned into so much more. And while the sales staff is quite nice, as are the security guards, Chad the store manager, could use a bit of guidance in communication with the consumer. Don't make them drive all the way back to your store only to make them wait 30 mins so you can finish your lunch before you leave them with no resolution, just a promise to call which you don't.  Don't also ignore their attempts at communication both via call and email. Consider teaching your team the best practices when their servers are down; because reading other reviews it appears this is a company wide issue which is I'm sure why there are ATMs in your stores. Recommendation: just pay cash to avoid a headache. Obviously I've gone to my bank to resolve this as I couldn't wait to get my $80 back while Chad finishes a 3 course meal. And while the sales team has been quite nice offering me a small discount on my next purchase, I wish I could use it at another location because I would prefer not to go back to this one. Xx

Lisa was professional and so educated in Cbd oils and all things cannabis. I came here looking to help my father in law with his bulging disk pain. Bought some Papa & Barkley's Thc Rich cbd and a bottle of the THC relief body oil. So excited and hopeful. As for Med Men and Lisa the experience is like being an a apple store glass doors, brightly lit. wood tables,  iPad and weed in glass jars with magnifying glass and slides so you can smell the bud. Only with tech Greeks only these people are weed geeks. They talk about weed like a master wine chief. Lisa was amazing!

The service is great - think Sephora for THC and CBD but without the snobbery and with easy street parking. Patient, knowledgeable, no hard sales pitches and fair. Can't emphasize the last attribute enough. When I loved my shopping experience (clean and sleek, with impressive but not overwhelming displays) but didn't love my products, MedMen came through to invite me back, provide a replacement and have Chad the General Manager explain pretty much everything I'd ever want and/or need to know about my options. (We love Chad.) There are a bazillion "pot" stores out there now, and I know MedMen isn't the cheapest and that it's considered the big guy, but at least at this branch, I got personal and quality service.

This place has a great selection of products and the staff was extremely helpful! I went in to grab a couple pax cartridges and when I asked for a strain that was OOS they checked the back for me and found some more which was nice! They also had a great selection of pre-rolls. Cute bags at checkout too

I've been wanting to stop by this location for a while.  I came with a friend.  While the place is very organized, the people who work there are not very helpful.  Also, their products are overpriced, which is probably due to the brand.  Very clean.  They had a few promo signs up with no details of what the promotion was.

I think I got asked by five different employees if I needed help in this poorly laid out location on Lincoln. It was overkill and definitely not a relaxing buying experience. I couldn't look at something without being in someone's way. Felt crowded with the five customers and ten employees that were inside.

Big spenders beware! The more you spend the more you pay.....Bought 4 items got charged TWO taxes totaling 98 bucks! For tax! For a medical patient. On the other hand the store setup was cool and the workers were professional... In response to Chris.I do have a valid California medical ID when I presented it they said it's the same price for Everyone. Y'all taxed me recreational.My review still stands. Buyers beware.

This is my story:  I was recently diagnosed with something pretty scary.  Did a lot of research and learned that CBD oil can/may help.  I'll do (and take) almost anything natural so I heard about MedMen and drove all the way from Redondo Beach.... not a fun drive.Lisa was the one that was helping me.  She was very knowledgeable in this field and guided me in the right direction (she even went into detail with what she knows).  I have to admit that when I went to pay for it with my cc and was informed that they only accept cash (I didn't know that at the time, but most dispensaries don't accept cc's).... anyway, I had a mini melt down because I didn't have cash on me (it was a combination of stress due to my condition so when I was told that they didn't take cash, I was a bit of b%$ch and practically stormed out looking for an ATM).  Now, if I were Lisa I would have been very annoyed with a customer like myself.  Instead, when I returned, she was cool and calm, and helped me understand why these policies are in place and continued to talk to me and be extremely supportive.  They do have a small ATM there but I'm one of those paranoid people that don't use one unless they are from the bank.  But anyway, Lisa showed genuine concern for my health and was patient through it all.  She didn't even seem annoyed that I had been rude.  I apologized to her for my behavior because it had nothing to do with her.  She was extremely understanding and forgiving and even (after ringing me up) asked me to follow up and let her know if the CBD oil was making a difference.  I haven't even encountered any doctors that seem to care a fraction of how much she did/does. Well, I went in for a check up (today, and 2 months into using the CBD) and my condition is improving.  I've made a lot of changes in my life to get to this point and I don't know how much each change contributed but as I said before, I'll take whatever I can and I'm grateful that we live in a day/age that we can learn so much about lifestyle changes and dietary changes that can help SO GREATLY.  I appreciate the support from my friends and wonderful people like Lisa who are giving me hope and the drive to keep going through this journey.Obviously, I will be a returning customer.  Prior to calling MedMen (I called and spoke to a male before I went in, who, BTW was also awesome and didn't rush me with all my questions), anyway, I had called a few other dispensaries and it seemed like their staff didn't seem to know as much and didn't seem to have a passion to help guide patients in the right direction.  We could all use more people in our lives like the employees at MedMen.  =)

if you are a tourist looking to experience a legal weed shop, by all means go be impressed by Medmen's apple store approach. But if you work for a living and don't like being taken for a ride, then this is probably not the place for you. Prices are sky high, staff is not really super helpful, and oh, yeah, they'll totally forget to mention that their debit card transactions are processed as if you took money out of an ATM, not like using a debit card ANYWHERE else on earth... so you'll get charged by your bank too. Is that even legal? I doubt it. Super lame. super super lame.

I came here to splurge on my birthday in March. I bought an 8th on the tangi dream, it's came in a cute tuna like can. ( I chose the tangi dream because of its light green fluffy buds). I paid $80-something for the 8th.  I then drove straight to Palm Springs for the week the celebrate. Once I opened the tin of herb, it looked like rabbit turds, tiny pea size nugs that were dark and dry. Huge disappointment on my birthday. 1 week later the bud was gone and I came back to LA. I went back into MedMen, and wanted more herb, the girl was very helpful on the floor and I told her what happened, she wanted to help me, but the older lady behind the glass was very rude to her and my self, for even inquiring about "pre package" even the employee on the floor was embarrassed by her comment. I just wish I got that light green fluffy kush.

Well run spot with plenty of good products, friendly service, and clean store. I went in for a quick roll and decided to try lowell smokes 10 serving quickie pack. The packaging was good but the sativa strain lowell used was rather harsh. 1st bad experience I had with this company. If the flower was clean this is a good option for a single person not needing an entire j to themselves. Its fine to share for most people I feel. For $50 after tax I was a bit disappointed. Not to reflect solely on the product since this location carries it I'd assume they tried it.

My Second joint stop within 2 months. NOT into smoking, but you got to keep me away from the Watermelon Gummies! Can I say YUMMY GUMMY????? I keep myself from eating a whole gummy, but they are so dam good. I am a watermelon Whore, anything saying Watermelon, I'll buy. So the first time I was in MedMen, I went in for a sleepy tea, but walking pass the gummy, it was love at first sight, service at this location and the one on Abott Kinney were both fantastic! Either everyone is high,  or everyone is nice and they all do say " HI" can I help you. Parking is the only issue, so what did I do? I saw PIE HOLE, which is the next building over, I was like " PIE AND BEING HIGH!" what a great night this is gonna be.

The first time I went to this location, after it first opened, it was great. Lots of selection and plenty of staff to help you out. Now the selection really stinks and I've been visiting their Abbot Kinney location. Staff was decently friendly. I don't like that you have to order from someone working the floor and then go to cashier...why not just skip a step and it can be ordered directly at the cashier.

Beware of this corporate run greed factory: Unfortunately, MedMen has turned their backs on the medical patients who supported and funded their store before recreational marijuana was not legalized. With the legalization of recreational marijuana, there is a sales tax charged to all purchases which medical marijuana patients are exempt.  MedMen has refused to allow medical patients their legal tax exemption charging us double, sometimes triple what we would be paying for our medicine.I have spoken with the manager about this and they refuse to follow the law.  I will no longer shop at a store which does not support the people who supported them.  If anyone is looking for a more welcoming vibe with less of an apple store "we're all cattle" kind of feel, try the badass ladies of Erba Collective.

I went there to get edibles that ended up being like cbds instead of a buzz. I went back about two weeks later when they gave me something else for free and it too was very weak and not worth my time of day. Their prices are way too high for no high at all. This place charges you as much as New York street process back in the nineties.

LAX LOCATION - DON'T GO HERE! RIP OFF ALERT! They are taxing like crazy here! 70% off sale today but we were taxed based on the REGULAR price, not the SALE PRICE! We paid more in TAXES for our product today than what the product actually costs us on sale! This is BAD BUSINESS taking advantage of travellers since you're near the airport! You should be ashamed of yourselves! And don't get me started on the ridiculous entrance process! Go to nearby Inglewood people. This place will make u wanna stop smoking!

I received excellent service at the Lincoln store from Colin.He show me a more effective tincture than the one I'vebeen taking previously.

Don't know who answered the phone, but based on their unprofessionalism and attitude, I will never visit your organization.  Maybe you should teach the people who work here that customers are the ones who pay their paychecks.  I don't know how you can get an attitude with someone who is asking simple questions. I was expecting an attitude, because it's Venice... but this was bad enough that I had to write it up.  Keep up this and wonder why you go out do business (hint: your customer service sucks and there are plenty of other choices)

This place is great! Not sure why there are bad reviews....Sure it's a little pricey, but it's a super nice shop, very aesthetically pleasing. The people are extremely educated, so if you're looking to actually smoke or eat or ingest marijuana as medicine, this is your place!!!Jalen helped me and he was so knowledgeable! I needed very specific strands and high CBD - he suggested all the right things, and didn't try to sell me on anything I couldn't afford. The entire staff is also super funny and laid-back, so they made the shopping experience really fun!Adam also helped me out at the register and was hilarious, and again helpful and sooo nice and down to earth! And also really cute! I found my new weed shop! Hope you do too!

I have dealt with Lisa from the beginning, and although I am sure the other staff is just as helpful, I come to the Lincoln location specifically for her. She always makes my experience memorable.

Friendly, helpful staff and nice layout. They don't have the room to spread out and get a lot of stock on the floor as in West Hollywood, but they are convenient to so much of the Westside.

The medicine and products that they sell here appear to be of at least decent to high quality, but I was really disappointed in the prices and the experience overall. Most 8ths of flower here are close to $60 before taxes, grams are around $20 before tax. Watched a friend pay $26 for a gram of what ended up being just decent bud, and another guy look super disappointed walking out after paying $75 for an 8th. The main thing that turned me off however was the way the staff conducted business. I went in initially to look into purchasing a pen vaporizer / cartridge, but like the Apple store or Guitar Center, I felt like I was being prayed on by the sales staff. I was approached by at least 3 staff members during my visit trying to "help" me, but instead just tried to sell me up-charged products that I had no interest in purchasing. They even went so far as to grab products off the wall and physically hand them to me while I was still asking questions, which came off as a sort of slimy sales tactic. After directly asking the price of what they handed me and expressing that I was not interested, I got dirty looks from the salesperson and felt pretty discarded (until of course someone else tried to "help" me after walking to the other side of the room *repeat process*). Ended up walking out empty handed by choice and probably won't return. I understand this is Venice and this place is catering to the "hip" trendy young rich crowd, but I couldn't help but feel a bit like I was being hustled. And considering you can get comparable or better quality product for half the price at many other locations, I don't really see the point in coming back here.

Everyone here is always so kind and efficient. I love coming to this location specifically because of the chill vibes from all the employees. Khalil L. was particularly helpful. He helped me find just what I was looking for and even helped me navigate the sometimes tricky dispensary bag. So much attention to detail! Thanks to everyone who works here. Keep be amazing!

You need to start giving finder fees to ride share drivers. I'm going to start bringing them to Erba and other stores that appreciate drivers.

MedMen and the city of Venice hold special place in my heart. What I cherish so and hoped to find was an experience. Venice is no mere geographic location, it is an ideal, and this ideal isn't tangible, it isn't legislated, it isn't governed. The soul of Venice, as with MedMen lies within each customer experience. The Venice MedMen provided a wide variety of quality cannabis products, displayed with an understanding of space, which is important, because the location is quaint. The staff were helpful, and the store was clean. I'm always willing to pay a bit more for the experience MedMen have created at other locations, I didn't receive that at this location. I will try this location again in the future, and would recommend this cannabis retailer to an inexperienced friend or tourist, but probably not to a seasoned cannabis consumer.

Great spot.  I came down here to see what life was like on the high-end side of things and August was just the guy I was looking for.  He was very patient answering all of my questions and set me up with some of the best I've had in quite some time.  Can't wait to come back, it's all smiles at this spot!

Hmm, we seem to be the only ones (on yelp, anyway) who weren't impressed with the service here.  The kid who "helped" us couldn't have been less patient or more condescending.  Maybe because we're as old as his parents, but we've also been consumers since long before he was even born. We've been to dispensaries in Colorado where everyone working there was friendly, knowledgeable, and willing explain all the products that we weren't familiar with.  Next time we'll try the store on Abbot Kinney, or go elsewhere.

The WORST Medman place in the entire LA county. I took my tourist friends to get some weed pen and there was a section in the room that had discounted weed. NEVER TRY AND OPEN THE CONTAINERS. I tried to smell one of the containers to show my friend how great the weed was in Cali, 3 people immediately zoomed up to AGGRESSIVELY and told me I couldn't do that told me I HAD TO BUY IT. They were so rude about it and didn't give me an explanation or a nicer way not to open it. They said that since I opened it I ruined the quality (side note: THE WEED WAS PACKAGED LAST YEAR IN AUGUST.) I asked if the weed was at least a sativa and they said yes. IT WAS A INDICA. They clearly don't know their shit. NEVER TAKE YOURSELF THERE.

I have a friend using low-dosage mints/edibles to manage her chemo-caused nausea, so I was a little lost when it came to deciding between the 25, 20, 5, 2.5, and 1 mg options. Fortunately, Kim guided me through my initial purchase. Furthermore, when I returned almost a month later, she remembered our initial conversation and was able to help me fine tune my second purchase based on my friend's feedback. Great product knowledge, great individual service.

Just had the worst customer experience ever at this location. I purchased a sleep pen by Dosist then realized that I have a full one at my house and asked to exchange it for a bliss. I was told I wasn't allowed to exchange because it was already purchased. It was unopened and I was still in the store but they said it didn't matter. To make it worse, they didn't give the local 10% discount even though the person at check in said I get it as I live in Venice. This was a terrible experience and the manager really just was a total power tripper. I will not be returning to this store ever again, I thought that MedMen prides themselves in customer experience?

I love Lucian!!!  And this place!!!  YAY!!!!  It's so organized and everyone is very knowledgeable and always recommend great new products to try.  Love it!

Kim is the one that you need to talk to here. She knows the products and she knows what we want. Easy going, good sense of humor and excellent customer service. She's the reason that I will be coming back to this location.

They were much better a couple months ago when they still carried a few decent 1/8th options at $20-25. Now they're constantly sold out of those strains, but they're always chock full of items for rich folks. I give up -- I'm going to start buying from dudes on the beach or I might have to make the long bike ride to Venice & the 405 since all these shops in Venice Beach overcharge and close early.

MedMen on Lincoln is by far the absolute nicest experience of the locations I've been to. August is extremely helpful, knowledgeable, and kind when assisting you. Thanks for always being rad!!

This is one of my favorite spots. Staff is always friendly and they have a great selection of flowers. Check out their weedmaps for menu and promotions. They update it all the time. Love you guys!They took forever on me today when I was in and the guy that helped me seemed pretty medicated as he forgot to scan one of my items and stopped me on my way out. Quality flowers and other shit for the most part but the bogo elixir drinks today, well one of them at least looked and tasted very old...on a positive note,the tattooed white girl that works here is super gorgeous though. :)

Brought in my barely-used vape to exchange because of the latest recommendations by the CDC. Although I had my receipt and packaging for my vape, they refused to switch out my cartridge for a tincture. I was told that all MedMen products are completely safe and only the black market vapes cause the mysterious lung disease. They didn't seem to care that they might lose a customer as the brands they sell are available elsewhere. As me and my friend stood there trying to make the case, I was told by the manager that they know more than the CDC and I could smoke my vape with confidence. I don't intend to, and ended up getting funneled into buying the tincture (with a nice discount). This was obviously some type of top-down policy and I couldn't blame the dude for doing his job. I gave them a few stars because they're overstaffed so friendly help is easily found, and the Apple Store-type layout is nice.

Such a great experience! I wasn't happy with the changes at my local dispensary and decided to give MedMen a try. I'm so glad I did!The customer service really is top notch. My first time customer 10% off was expired, but Bart was nice enough to still honor the discount. Love the friendly vibe of the staff here-- I'll be back for sure!

DONT GO! This is absurd! I'm here in front of the store, arrived at 9:50 and they are not allowing me to get in, saying that it's closed. It's ridiculous, I travel from far to bring friends from other country to visit the store and the security guy said it closes at 9:45 but there is a poster inside the store saying 10p! Why didn't he let us in? Why was he rude? TERRIBLE experience! If he wants to go home earlier then he should get another job! And the sales guys inside the store pretended that we weren't there!

This spot is super dope ! Robin is so helpful and handsome that I can't even believe it !! Location is great and there is no wait time although are a lot at one time, everybody is helped in a timely manner. Everyone is super welcoming inviting and friendly and knowledgeable. They really know their stuff. It's very clean and organized and everything is very easy to find. I don't feel unsafe in this environment and they're all wearing cool red shirts so it's easy to identify who is working. They have a wide selection and I did not have a problem finding exactly what it was that I wanted.

For the one the price is way too high! And second all that prepackaged flower they have be dried out.

I love the store and love the products you have, but one of the staff members was being very rude towards me when I came in to purchase. And was VERY UNPROFESSIONAL..  She was an older white lady with a ethnic Russian accent who was circling around me when I was looking at the strands on the counter top and looking at more products in the tablet. She was even following me around and kept starting at me very vulgarly. She made the whole energy flow I had go down. I felt uncomfortable when she's there. Other than that the rest of the staff was very helpful and professional with me.

Check-in process was speedy. Employees are polite. Well-stocked inventory. I'm impressed.

I'm not sure I understand the pricing here. 3.5g of Headband Cake Indica dominant was listed at $45 on the website and in-house iPads. but when i paid at the counter they charged me $55. The tax took another hefty bite so my $45 purchase cost $69.26. I know they have no control of the tax but the hike from $45 to $55 was irritating. Didn't notice until I got home and read the receipt. However, given the alacrity of their social media response perhaps it will soon be explained....

This is my favorite go to spot for any gooodies I need when I'm in Venice.. definitely recommend it really is the Apple store of dispensary's.

Its cool, but how much are you really expected to tip when you just paid $140 for what used to be $100 worth of weed?

Usually very disappointed with the level of service. The check In people are great, but once you get to the counter... start taking deep breaths. Khalil has been the worst of them most recently. I gave him some product and asked him to confirm if it was the same thing I had purchased before and he confirmed that it was. But I kept questioning because the packaging looked different so then he explained, well... It's not exactly the same thing. Hmmm.  He looked bored, I'm pretty sure he was close to rolling his eyes while I was waiting. Just patronizing and condescending and not only did he not have the right information he could not have been more uninclined to go find it. The Abbott Kinney store is great. Robertson great. But I'm never going back to this location. Poor service is too frustrating.

This place is wonderful. After suffering anxiety for the longest of times i came here for a little help. Bart is one guy who knows his stuff. First and last time shopping here as a new venice resident. They say, they're required to charge these extra taxes. NOT TRUE! I shop at dispensaries all over LA, most will only charge 15% tax. End of story. My $55 1/8th OG looks pretty basic too, surprised they don't carry the best brands i.e. Source, Cookies, Terra etc. I'll give them 1 star for carrying Alien OG Pax, minus the fact they charged me $8 more than what I normally pay.

This is my first time coming into the store and I never want to leave!!! So many fun and interesting options that it can be a little overwhelming at first, but the employees are extremely helpful and knowledgeable with recommendations. Kim is the BEST! Love medmen in weho, this one just opened so it has a ways to go... the lady at front desk was cold yesterday when I was checking in. Not very nice. Still has the vibe of a regular, slightly janky, dispensary. Waiting for this spot to upgrade itself to MedMen quality level.

Context: When it comes to marijuana I consider myself a social smoker, meaning I only partake in the toke if there's a joint or vape pen being passed around, or if there's a special occasion and everyone planned to take edibles ahead of time. That said, I'm becoming more proactive with marijuana because of it's health benefits so, I decided to pay MedMen a visit.I wasn't sure what to expect since it's my first visit to a legal California dispensary (I only knew I didn't need a doctor's note). When you walk in you must "check-in" with employees for regulation purposes, then you're free to browse the floor.Think "Apple stores + weed". That's the layout of MedMen (on a very small scale). There's tables with featured products in the middle, and shelves on the walls with other high quality accessories and products. There's also plenty of helpful employees hanging out ready to field your questions, of which they're happy to answer.I had a great conversation with one knowledgable employee, who educated me on everything from dosage levels to different product/ingestion methods to her personal experiences and stories from her clients. Long story short she gave me all the information I needed to feel comfortable making a purchase, which I did (I paid with a debit card).Overall, I'd recommend MedMen if you're thinking of adding marijuana to your lifestyle and want to learn more, or if you're already using marijuana and want to find some cool new products or accessories.

Bart Myer is the reason why I continue to buy from MenMed Lincoln Blvd. He is personable, charismatic and very knowledgeable about the array of companies and product. He sparked up a natural conversation, which evidently led him to suggest that I try something new, from a company that invests heavily in R&D. I went home and was able to sleep soundly for the very first time. He is the guy you want to talk to - no matter a first-time customer or long-time fan of MedMen!

Yikes! What happened to the culture VBC created over more than a decade? This dispensary used to have some of the best genetics in Los Angeles.And now it's morphed into the Target of dispensaries:- Everyone's wearing uniforms identical to Al & Ed's Car Stereo down Lincoln- Most of the premium strains VBC carried for years are replaced by medicine with names that include "MedMen". - Daily Twitter specials gone, "never coming back - that was a VBC thing."- Prices have gone up about 20% across the board- No actual menu to the read anymore ("it's coming", I was told)- Old employees out (everyone will miss you guys!) - new crew that replaced them all about the up-sells.- VBC was saavy enough to include sales tax in their prices. Changing this (as MedMed has) increases every order by 10% and is a huge cultural change from past. Tone deaf move coming into an established market. I could go on forever. Who knew Jimmy's caustic attitude would have been preferable to anything else?This. Place. Sucks. And it feels as unapologetically corporate as Microsoft.Luckily, there are a grip of great QUALITY alternatives nearby. One block up Lincoln, two blocks down Rose, three blocks down Rose, or any of the excellent delivery options.Good luck!P.S. First time there and they were bomb. The staff was super helpful, each and every one of them. For me service outweighs everything and these guys have it down. They have a huge selection of pretty much everything. A couple other people made comments about price and taxes and things like that but tax is completely out of their control and as far as price goes.. you get what you pay for people! It was such a cool and fun experience especially for a first timer. If you're every in Venice beach check them out! Dominique helped us for the most part and she was super dope and knew a lot of info. Ask for her!

Too many people working you can't move around.  Feels like a car dealership. A little more expensive than other dispensary's. Incorrect marked strains. I went and bought an oil that was marked as a hybrid, but after I already opened it I noticed it was an indica.  I told them this the next time I went and they said they'd fix it. Had a friend that went and they still haven't updated the label. There's too many better options.

I live in Echo Park, but I stopped into the Venice location one Friday afternoon after a trip to the beach. A very nice employee helped me pick out a vaporizer and an oil cartridge. He makes sure to tell me that the cartridge and vaporizer will work together, and that I should always check when purchasing, since not all cartridges and vaporizers are compatible. Keep that in mind. They pack up my stuff, I check out and go home. When I arrive, I open the package and find a vaporizer and a charger. No oil cartridge. I call Venice to see what happened. They don't answer. I call another store to see if they can help me. They can't. I call Venice again. This time someone answers. I explain the situation. She seems confused. I explain again. She puts me on hold for a few minutes,  and when she comes back she tells me that I have to come back to the store to get the problem resolved. She tells me--as if this is a great deal--that if I come back in, they can give me the oil cartridge at a 99.9% discount. Not the cartridge I already paid for, plus a new one at a discount. A discount on the one I already paid for. Now it's my turn to be confused. She is telling me to haul my ass back out to Venice to pay more for something I already purchased and didn't receive. She doesn't seem to understand that this isn't a solution. She's telling me that because of regulations on cannabis, they can't give any product away for free. I have to explain to her that they wouldn't be giving this product away for free because I ALREADY PAID FOR IT. She's not getting it and I'm getting pissed so I end the call and decide to deal with it the following day.So I call back the following day. I talk to someone who seems to have it a bit more together. He says that there isn't a manager there at the moment, but that one will one call me later that day. So later that day I talk to a manager who says that if I come back to Venice they will give me the cartridge I didn't receive the first time and give me 20% off my next purchase. In my head I'm thinking 20% off sounds like poor compensation for a two-hour round trip to Venice, but whatever. At this point I just want my product. I drive out to Venice the following day. I return the first product and get a new package containing a vaporizer, charger, and the oil cartridge I was supposed to get the first time around. I open it up at the counter to make sure it's all there. I decide I might as well use my 20% discount, so I start shopping around for another oil cartridge. A girl wanders over and asks me if I need help. I can see her heart isn't in it, but I do need help picking a strain, so I describe what I like and ask if she has some recommendations. She pauses, appearing either over it or at a loss or both, then starts talking to me about vaporizers. She's not even close to helpful. She's struggling to navigate an iPad displaying sundry products I don't need. I lock eyes with another employee who seems to sense my desperation. She intervenes and recommends a few strains, alongs with the brands that offer cartridges of them. I ask if a particular brand of cartridge that she's recommended will work with the vaporizer I have. I show her the vaporizer. She looks at it and confirms yes, this cartridge will work with this vaporizer. Great. The cashier rings me up, and I ask about the 20% discount I was offered. He says there's no discount credited to my account. I assure him there ought to be. He calls someone over who gets it sorted. The discount barely covers the tax on my purchase, and then I leave a tip for the girl who helped me pick out a new cartridge, so at the end of this I'm really not feeling like I even got a deal, but whatever.To be fair, this last part is really my fault. Having experienced a level of incompetence and disorganization that I have rarely encountered in any place of business, I should have checked before walking out the door that the new cartridge I bought actually works with the vaporizer I purchased. Turns out, it doesn't. I discovered this last night, two weeks later, when I decided to go see Ready Player One. The "discounted" cartridge I bought fits my vaporizer, but when I pull on it, I get nothing. The vaporizer isn't broken. The battery isn't dead. It still works with the other cartridge I have. I called the Venice store again just now and they said if I bring it back in they can "take a look at it." I asked what they're gonna do for me to make it worth me driving out to Venice again to fix a mistake they made. The guy on the phone got an attitude before offering me a $10 coupon. Sir, goodbye. $10 doesn't cover the gas I've spent on your store's mistakes. Keep your coupons. Keep your crappy discounts. Keep your employees who can't do simple things like talk about the product they're selling, or place items I've purchased in a bag, or answer the phone, or operate an iPad. Y'all are a mess.

They are the worst set up dispensary set up In the aspect of customer service I went in there for 40 minutes just because they could not figure out how to direct a Medical patient. I would not recommend.

Update: Chris was very nice and helpful. I would've never gone back to MedMen if not for him. I received an exchange for my dysfunctional cartridge, thankfully. I still think it's too expensive for me, but my opinion of the customer service has certainly changed for the better. Thank you Chris, for your generosity and professionalism.

This location is very convenient. The woman named Kim was very helpful and broke things down for me (newbie to the MedMen world) in language that made sense. Overall great experience.

The other review says it all and their pricing is absurd. Oh and they tax you which is almost unheard of, Club was run a lot better in every way shape and form when it was Venice Beach care center as opposed to the new ownership.

Said you're open until 10 but I got there at 9:55 and you guys were already closed and hanging out chilling. Even when I knocked, you ignored me. That kinda sucks.

Good local dispensary. Better prices for the area. A wide variety of products, i can always find what I'm looking for. Staff are helpful and friendly! And sometimes they have specials!

Absolutely piss-poor customer relations. While the young kids working try to be polite (some of them anyway), they had little knowledge of different products and their hands are often tied to give you any answers with confidence so you have to go through them to upper rungs and operator messaging to people that hide in the back where "management" are to either answer your questions or deal with a bad purchase by proxy. They are completely unwilling to make a situation right when they sell you bad product so beware. The atmosphere takes a play on Apple with lots of young employees in bright red shirts most of whom are mingling around in a small square space to assist (or sell, rather) where it is apparent that there are often more of them than customers. Because it is recreational facility (no medical marijuana ID card required), there are at least two security guards in back and more in front as required by law. You would think that this would make you feel safer but with the sketchy back alley of Venice and limited parking, it just makes the initial visit a more jarring experience. Then there are the multiple check-ins-- of IDs and adding to a database (also required by law but done so in such a next-in-line and run through the mill fashion that it feels more like the DMV then a customer experience.) I really hated it. And I regretted not just getting my medical Id card and going to a patient dispensary like 99 High Tide Collective in Malibu where there is a healing magnetic bed you can lay in while you wait or you can browse at the art on the walls or join in a weekly free-to-patients reiki healing session among other things....SOOOOOOOOOO much nicer of an experience. And while the Malibu dispensary may be a bit pricier than others, Medmen's prices are pretty on par and you don't get any of the class! I just don't know why anyone would go to Medmen when there are so many other better dispensaries , recreational or medical, to choose from that either offer true healing modalities, like 99 High Tide, or customer service and/or far better prices. All MedMed has going for it is a catchy name parody on a popular tv series, multiple locations and good marketing ads, but when it comes to substance, I don't think they even vet the products they sell.

Darinsia helped me at MedKen . Literally the best experience I've had . Come here for good deals and amazing marijuana .

I am very happy with the customer service at this store. My boyfriend and I went to Med Men in Venice and we were helped by Víctor at the register. He was very knowledgeable and friendly. Thanks to his great customer service and MedMens selections we will definitely be back!

I was really excited to find some CBD products in order to cope with chronic pain and while some of the staff was very helpful, there was a mistake made during checkout. Upon realizing that I was given the wrong product, and reviewing the receipt, I went back to talk to someone only to be met by an attitude as if I was the problem. Everyone I talked to seemed too stoned to want to address my issue and I ended up leaving without having it resolved. Really disappointed upon my experience tonight. MedMen caters to the non-stoner apparently...but the people who are helping you might be a bit too stoned. Maybe don't treat people so horribly when you're the ones that made a mistake, and you might get a repeat customer. Mistakes happen. Don't be unprofessional, dismissive and confrontational about it- just fix it. Won't be returning.

Been a long time customer and it has progressively gotten worse since the name change... from loyalty perks to products in stock and even customer service it's obvious they do not care as much anymore.

They were very accommodating. They have strict policies for new users but really give it their best to make it work. And the buy one get one free is awesome. We discovered Papa and Barkley products there- a really nice topical line.

This is 100% my new place. Came in 5 minutes before closing and got the absolute best customer service I've ever gotten. JACKIE really went above & beyond. I had a small issue but she is a problem solver and really showed me what's possible when someone really cares about being a helpful sales associate.Thank you Jackie!

I've been going to medmen for a quite a while but had never gone to the Venice Beach location until recently. I had such a good experience throughout my whole time there. One of your associates, Zach, was so helpful and knowledgeable about the products but didn't make me feel pressured to buy anything excessive - only what I truly needed.Even though it's a trek from KTown, I'll definitely be back :)

Before Medmen took over this location, the staff and offerings were top notch. Every single time I've been there since the change, I've had a bad experience. The kids that work there don't know much and the silly iPad displays don't make up for it. Acting fancy just makes this place more of a joke. What a fall from grace. I am not going back until it changes handsUPDATE: I just noticed this boiler plate copy and paste response. I rest my case. The only thing this company is known for is the color red and buying up mom and pop dispensaries. The Starbucks model LOL

Staff is rude and think they own the block. Security and manager stand outside blocking the entire sidewalk for passersby, such that I had to walk into street to get by them.  When I called the store to complain about it, the same two people just stayed there.  And flipped me off and they pretend gang sign at me.The reek of the place is one thing.  The rudeness is something else entirely.

Having been a bit on autopilot since August 2020 when my husband's C-word diagnosis occurred, I've tried to find the right combo of stress relief for him. Yesterday #ConnorS arrived to deliver an order and as he handed me the bag, I asked him if he had a few minutes because I had questions. Connor said "absolutely" so we talked for a good 15 minutes as he drilled down about each product I bought. He was more knowledgeable than anyone I've ever met! He listened to my questions, paused, reflected and answered with helpful comments and additional suggestions. He reiterated that if I had additional questions or concerns that I should call and speak with anyone at the Venice shop who'd be happy to help with any and all inquiries. Honestly, if #Connor was my son, I'd be Uber-proud of him! The magazine "Ember" needs to give him a weekly column. Thank you, #Connor

The reason I'm giving this a 3 star rating is because of the quality of the flower, not the quality of the service or the dispensary its self. I got an 8th for $45 after tax it was around $65. I didn't mind paying extra for the quality. However, the flower I received was dry, had no smell, had no flavor, and only gave me a slight head change for 20 minutes. I'm very disappointed and I hope no one else goes through the same thing I did. Completely wasted my money. Thank you for the budtenders and your great service !
