Worst experience of my life. Went there at 945 and got what me and my friend needed the proceeded to check out. There were 3 others checking out and they wanted to scan my order with my friends. I said no it's separate. So then they rang me up I had my card in the terminal to pay and then another employee comes over and takes my card out and says we can't sell it to u anymore it's 10pm when really it was 959 and they just rang up my friend. I will NEVER EVER BE BACK HERE. THEY ARE OVERPRICED AND TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!! PLEASE DONT VISIT ANY MED MEN. THEY TAKE UR MONEY OR TELL U TO LEAVE. VISIT MDR

Have been going here more often lately. Service is great, they have a wide selection and often have my favorites in stock when others don't. Also, you can't beat the Locals discount! Forrest helped me on Saturday and he was excellent. Very knowledgeable. Five stars!

Really want to give a shout out to Dylan D.  I'm going on a long rafting trip, had particular needs but am not to savvy re vapes.  Dylan was patient, friendly, made some suggestions.  I felt safe and cared for as client.  It was all in all a great first time visit.  Update.  Then i got the vape pens home and charged them up and neither battery worked. Today, I drove to Med Mens again, and Dylan was the first person inside the store to greet me.  I told him why i was back, he checked it out.  The batteries worked fine, he explained and demonstrated.  I tried to tip him again  but he wouldn't let me.  Med Men on Abbott Kinney is a little more costly but it's legit place and at least Dylan was focused at ensuring a good experience, gave good advice and was kind and quite apt with real-time demos.  lol.  im a little older than it's typical clientele.  he never once made feel stupid about my mistake.  easy peasy!  Thank you, D.

The customer service and product selection is top tier! Mitch is the MAN!! I had some concerns with my past sativa experiences, he listened and promptly pointed me to the PERFECT product. Absolutely love it. Will be coming back!

Beautiful store and excellent, friendly staff. This really does look like an Apple store but with even more helpful people! Street parking was easy since I came in on New Year's Eve after a dinner nearby. I knew what I wanted, so I wasn't there very long. Your ID is checked upon entrance. If you provide an email, you get 10% off. If you bring someone for their first time, you both get 20% off. The staff is informative, and I imagine they get a lot of annoying questions from first time visitors and tourists.I just had one complaint: when using your card for payment, they round up to the nearest $5 and give you the difference of the total back in cash. This is fine, BUT this triggers my bank account to view this as a non-bank ATM, and then I get charged for "using a non-bank ATM" from my bank. This was totally not my intention, and they do not mention this to you upon charging. No other merchant I have visited triggers a debit card purchase (even when requesting cash back) as using a non-bank ATM, so this was very weird for me. This place is great if you're in a pinch, but definitely bring cash or be charged the extra annoying fee by your bank.

Go here if you want overpriced, highly marketed bud and unknowledgeable staff. Avoid if you actually appreciate a clinic that has done their research regarding not only the effects of their strains but their cultivation as well. Only reason this review isn't one star is because they carry top brands of edibles.Seriously, let their iPads do the talking and not their employees unless you want one to whisper which they prefer having sex to or which won't get you f*cked up.

Walking into this place is like walking into paradise!! So many options and they're all laid out and organized. You can browse on sleek tabletop computers or view merch on the walls. Staff is very knowledgeable of strains and sources. 6/5 experience! Ask for Laural, she helped me and was great

I went in to get something to help me sleep and Mitch was amazing, the recommendations he made had me sleeping through the night that day which was incredible! I was also helped my Dillon on my next visit who gave me some excellent and helpful new suggestions as well. They also are super COVID careful and cautious which I appreciated.I won't shop anywhere else!

This place is a literal apple store for the marijuana. Specifically the customer service was exquisite. Especially my girl Brittany, she hooked it up knew exactly what i needed. I really appreciated Brittany's extra care and kindness while serving me, she even brought me a basket. But really, HIGHly recommend check it out and ask for Brittany!!!

Although I do love Med Men, this review is about the staff at this store specifically! I typically walk in with cash so I can avoid the fee and tonight I happened to have my money in a bank envelope. I bought my product walked out to my car across the street and drove away to wholefoods on Lincoln. As soon I was getting out of my card and checking my pockets I realized my envelope was missing. Apparently, I had dropped it getting into my car! Honestly, I had 0.0001% hope of getting an envelope with nearly $1k in it back. But the staff at Med Men on abbot Kinney, saw some guy throwing the money around and finally throwing it on the ground. Not only did they care to recover it but they also had the INTEGRITY to hold on to it incase I can back! I just want everyone to know that if for nothing else go into this store because I can say I have gained trust for the staff at this store that I don't have for most people! Cudo's to Med Men in their hiring of these amazing people! It's not easy to find people with such a sense of integrity these days!!!

I had a very enjoyable experience today with Larry. He was extremely friendly and knowledgeable about the products I was searching for. I work at a hotel and we joked about difficult customer service scenarios given the times. I will be back to see my guy, Larry.

Love this place! Their prices are actually very good compared to smaller shops and they have great COVID safety protocols. The past couple of times I went in Israel helped me and gave me some great tips! He's nice and very helpful!

I've like med men for years but my god I had a ridiculously terrible customer service experience over the phone this evening. I called just to ask if there was anyone on staff who could help repair a battery. The first time I called I was told someone might be on staff who could help but that they had to finish a transaction first. Totally fine. But they proceeded to keep me on hold for over 15 minutes. I hung up and called back. This time the person who picked up told me that no one on staff could help but that they might be able to do an exchange. I was taken aback by their rude tone and gruffness towards me. I said I might do an exchange of possible, but also that the last person I spoke with had mentioned someone on staff might be able to help and if they could check for that person. At this point the customer service rep hung up on me. I was pretty shocked. I called back and that same person answered. I asked them if they had really hung up on me just now. They said no one was talking and so they hung up the phone. I honestly don't believe them as we had been hearing each other just fine up until I asked a follow up question. I had to call another med men store to get any help and even then I had to call twice to get through to anyone. Was pretty terrible overall and I don't want to go back.

MedMen is the first dispensary I've ever been to and I must say it may be the only dispensary I ever go to. Chris, Christopher, I call him C money, is the most informative kind salesman that cannabis industry has ever employed. From the moment I walked in I was greeted and informed on what I should buy and I left a happy customer. I'm literally on my way there right now. Thanks MedMen!

Was out here for work and I always love visiting Venice beach so I stopped by to get a lil some some for my long drive home. Was helped by Arya and he's mad chill and super funny. Recommended some gas that wouldn't put me to sleep. Glad they were covid friendly. 10/10 would rec!

MedMen was an awesome experience! They are very Covid cautious and have a spacious, clean and sleek store. One gentleman in particular, Larry was incredibly friendly and informative. He suggested many great deals and shared his wealth of knowledge on various products they had in stock. Will definitely be back because of how awesome Larry was!!

Christina was incredible helpful at pointing out what edibles I would like. I've always struggled with edibles because they get me too high - but she showed me the Petra mints and I'm hooked! (Not actually I don't have a problem)

This is the first dispensary I've reviewed and I couldn't think of a better one. I was visiting SoCal for some business and found myself with an extra day to explore, so I figured I'd check out a nearby dispensary to compare the product down here to the stuff I usually get back home. I was amazed as soon as I walked in. The staff was very friendly, the atmosphere inviting, and they had a wider selection than I've been used to seeing. I was helped by Aria (Arya?), who had an amazing energy and was very knowledgeable. He answered all of my many questions and convinced me to leave with a bit more than I had planned on, which I'm totally happy about! Will definitely return when I'm in the area.

Love this store. Perfect location, top shelf products, great employees, and always something new and enticing to try. Special shout out to Bernard who went above & beyond with great service and a very thorough knowledge of the product. He totally nailed his recommendation- exactly what I was looking for. Really wanted to love this one. Am currently stressed out and cannot​ really sleep at nights, so my doctor recommended to get some non-THC drops before I go to bed (my doctor specificially asked to avoid the THC but shop for options)Got through the procedure of registering, then - being totally inexperienced with this kind of product - was introduced to this very friendly lady, who found just the right product - for $30 - and I had $50 with me. I took it, went to the counter, only to learn it was $80. Thankfully, they take debit cards. Sadly, the machine was broken.Then, they have an ATM - but it ran out of cash.I left.

Recently across The globe, VAPING MARIJUANA (THC) has been causing 1000's illnesses across 46 states. The CDC has OFFICIALLY said they still don't know what is causing it. The products all contained myclobutanil, a fungicide that can transform into hydrogen cyanide when burned. CYANIDE. And this is just one hypothesis!!! In the meantime of people using marijuana vaping products from all walks of life have been dropping like flies, and though we have guesses, this is so recent we have no ultimate conclusion... yet. This means we cannot rule anything as safe- straight from CDC.The reason I will never visit Medman again as they don't care for their customer. At all. What are they doing right now? Shoving VAPE CYANIDE CARTRIDGES at discount down our throats so they can dump their inventory before word gets out full mainstream and they have to take a loss on that product line, as with an epidemic this size- inventory gets recalled.In the meantime expect to be LIED TO about the current state of Marijuana Vape research if you ask any questions. Their first response is "I haven't heard of that." Then you dig deeper, ask some leading questions, and you will realize they indeed know very well the lethal risks and were all briefed on what they needed to say to not let panic ensue until they could dish their inventory out before it became a sunk cost.While sharpening up the knowledge of the current crisis for the cashier, she got INCREDIBLY ANGRY, as if I just touched on a subject they must call Voldemort and never speak of. After she understood I had a firm understanding of the TRUTH AND DANGERS BEHIND MARIJUANA VAPES and inhaling CYANIDE- she freaks out, got scared I was going to sue her or MedMen based off my knowledge of the clearly unethical, immoral, and inhuman practice of selling death cartridges to innocent and uninformed people.This is unprofessional and sickening to my soul. The MJ industry thinks they are angels vs the tobacco industry. Right?At this junction I would say the MJ companies(especially MADMEN) are responsible for even more blame and harm than big tobacco - as at least they tell you it will kill you and your lungs ‍Madmen sells death cyanide THC cartridges that kill you 50x faster but will continue to tell customers they are in-fact one of the healthiest ways to consume marijuana. (50% of their revenue (HALF OF THEIR DAILY PROFIT) is from the sale of death cyanide vaping THC cartridges). HALF THEIR PROFIT... and GROWING.If you cannot connect the dots of the above let me help. Half of the stores profit comes directly from the THC vaping products. Without that they are toast towards paying the Apple store sized rent. The last thing they will ever do is give you the truth, or latest science, as it would immediately impale buyer demand and thus their profits- at the expense of their "patients health."I would respect the Company if they looked out for the actual health of their patients (isn't that what medical marijuana is all about?) Right now your employees are lying through their teeth, exposing customers to potential death. Makes me sick and it should make you sick as well. Don't believe me? Do your homework then. In short do your due diligence then go in and get a good laugh realizing the employees know nothing- and coming from a veteran bud tender in Colorado- they know less than John Snow. After you display your intelligence you'll talk to management. This is where things got fun. At that point- they refuse service to you because of the simple health questions you ask so other customers don't hear and "spook". This place is such garbage, carrying all garbage brands that Contain the crap and forcing death on you when you walk In for sake of clearing inventory they know will soon be a sunk cost if they don't dump it fast. Makes. Me. Sick. These. People. Exist.Can't we just simply live in a society where yes business and all cash matters have their place, but not at the expense of harming another human being. Once again sickening. Do the world a favor and support better shops, with better people. I walked into Greendot and they had no issue being upfront with what has been happening in the industry and then letting us make the final purchase decision. That is an example of a well run, customer centric business who a positive word of mouth is going to best Medman's negative word of mouth. Hopefully the result will be safer products and honest dispensaries like Greendot and many others.... not a place literally ignoring a top 10 biggest story in the news the past week.God this company is a joke and a half‍. 2 years max I give them.

How does this place have a single dollar sign?!? Med Men is the most overpriced garbo in LA. I've bought two eighths here--both were $75 and change--and hugely regret it. The buds were dry/brittle, and tbh, didn't get me that high. They even tried to push a $60 eighth on me that was harvested in February; I was visiting the store in October (gross!). Having worked at one of the best dispensaries in Seattle, Lux, I can tell you that is awful. Get your inventory in check.Here's the deal: Excise tax or not, no eighth should be priced over $40. NONE. Charging over $60 with tax for an eighth in 2018 is robbery. You are price gauging tourists. Anyone who doubts what I am saying, please visit luxpotshop.com and check out the prices. If you are visiting, I recommend taking an Uber to another location and can recommend a few: Inglewood Daily Greens (better quality bud at $50 for 5 gram; excise tax built into list price); Exhale Med Center (excise built into list price) and Grand 420. The only excuse for going to this place is if you have your super conservative parents in town and want to show them something trendy/modern/educational (bc that is fairly limited in LA dispensaries) or you just enjoy blowing your wad to pay off some company's ridiculous number of iPads. Hope this helps!

Initially I exclusively frequented the LAX location but switched to this location because they have a greater selection and better customer service. My last few visits I've been helped by Bernard P. His product knowledge is extensive. He constantly is able to recommend the right product to suit my specific needs and always knocks it out of the ballpark. He knows the right product for whatever you desire. I highly recommend utilizing his expertise.

He took his time to learn what I'm looking for and showed me a few different products explaining effects and benefits of each. I ended up getting a few different kinds of edibles. Very happy with my purchase, this is exactly what I've been looking for! I will definitely be coming back for more.

Amazing greeting and check in, Knowledge and experience is what the staff member Laurel has got.I was looking for a specific strain and she suggested that I try a special pre roll that kept my tight budget in check.I wish I knew her schedule so I can have the same experience again getting this kind of attention. I hope management see this and has her train all the staff to work the payment system, coupon discount system, and know each product so well it's like a weed encyclopedia in there. I am not a corporate type of person so MedMen was the last place I ever thought of going for my weed. I like locally-owned shops and a natural vibe. To me from the outside, I thought of a place like MedMen as a Walmart of Weed. I was so wrong. It is so much more.Let's say I was convinced by a BudTender (do they still call it that?)...Named; Laurel Gordon.If you want extremely knowledge-based, friendly, cool, and funny and knows the business and products inside and out; ask for Laurel Gordon. Not only has she been able to tell me exactly what I need and what is strong enough to do the job, and the right product to lift my spirits.I'm happy that everyone gets to imbibe freely now as I believe in the healing power of cannabis. However, my one beef with the entire legalization, is that you don't smell the weed when you walk into the store anymore. Everything is packaged so tight you have to have a pair of scissors with you at all times, and they doubled the price and halved the dose and the edibles are mostly made with corn syrup and crap! I miss the Olden days of VeniceBakery co. bringing in freshly baked and strong edibles some of the lollypops lasted for three days just a few licks. Now you're forced to eat the whole thing It's ridiculous and cut with the worst products redyes and junk. Also those Cancer warning labels, prop65 take the fun out of everything we do now! I thought Cannabis was For Cancer now I have to look at a skull and crossbones every time I smoke.?So back to Med Men, at least it's stocked with the highest end product you can get. So you get both Quality and Quantity of Brands.And if your wondering who to ask for...Laurel Gordon!

I'm a novice when it comes to dispensaries and all things cannabis-related, so my visit to MedMen was my first time buying cannabis products. The space is bright and clean, and Israel, who advised me, was excellent. Full of information, he presented the facts and let me decide what I needed. When I asked him for a recommendation, only then did then he give his opinion. Overall, it was a good first experience, and the products I purchased are proving effective.

I did really like this location until today. I live right up the street, and like usual, I checked their inventory online to see if they had what I wanted before heading in - Blue Dream. The site said they had it. So I jumped in the car, arrived maybe 10 minutes later, only to be told they were sold out. Then the guy behind the counter tells me they were sold out 30 minutes ago. So why didn't you update the site? You'd think a place with such inventory control and strict rules would have a better policy. They didn't even start updating it until after I tried to order it...so much for knowing 30 minutes ago. Bummer. Buyers beware...don't waste your time going here if you are looking for something specific.

I've lived in the area for a week and I'm obsessed with this place the customer service is amazing. Shout out Cha-chi, Zachary, Dylan, and Nate!!! They were all beyond incredible and answered all my questions since I'm new to the area. Great recommendations. Medmen itself is a great company that does a great job of educating people about a sub culture that has long been taboo. I never once felt uncomfortable or stupid like some other dispensary's make you feel. Clearly I will be back!

I find this place maddening.  They run out of stock, often -- so when you like one of their products, you shouldn't count on them having it when you go back the next time.  And then you have to try a new product -- which you may or may not like.  It's a constant process of being relegated to try to product bc they run out of the stuff that you like.  It's a horrible way to try to engender repeat customers and good will.  (They always say "well, that's a popular product, so we run out" -- which, if you think about it, is a ridiculous answer.  If it's popular, perhaps they should manage their product buying differently -- so that their popular items are routinely in-stock.)  Their staff isn't knowledgeable and some frankly aren't nice.  Also, unlike non-Mad Men stores, they don't take credit cards -- and, to pay for that expensive rent on Abbot Kinney, their prices are higher than other stores in Venice for the same product.  I only buy here when the convenience to me is more important than the product selection and service -- which isn't often.

First time there and the staff was super friendly! Belen helped me get everything I needed and I loved every single one of her recommendations! I left there spending 3x more than I expected but everything was sooooo GOOD I wasn't even mad at it!

I was in the area (find myself there maybe twice a year). Anyway, a 'hustler' stands by the door to round the masses inside. Well, admittedly, it got me inside. I will also add that I probably only walked inside because of seeing the brand advertised in various magazines for over two years (estimating). I was curious and had a minute to browse. Once you are inside the sales person attempts (in my case) to work their sales magic to try and sell me overpriced product (to no avail). The associates seemed to have very basic knowledge. The look of this place does not match the service so, I bought nothing and I will not go back for another chance. Maybe concentrate more on the SERVICE than the VISUAL. You can do both you know. I am not in need of a 'Whole Foods' pot shop. Everything is overpriced and merchandised like the sparse 'uppity' types of places around this area (not all but many). Truth, I do not want to go into a store that is messy and confusing (listen to Sebastian M if you want a laugh about his depiction of Ross Stores which is an example of a hot mess). I also do not want to go into a store that is a vast waste of space. Either extreme is rather 'off putting.'  I suppose the type of people that live around this area would go for this type of shop but this keeps illegal businesses going (reportedly over 3000 are running in LA and surrounding areas without licensing). I prefer independent places with amazing cs and chill vibe. Price gouging consumers defeats why these places are supposed to exist. Here you pay for extra packaging, branding (mostly in magazines), and some sterile store environment. Just no. Hard pass.

I'm not sure why most reviewers are happy to give good reviews to MedMen.   Maybe it is because they are Ellite Yelpers?   I know Ellite Yelp has a way of downplaying reviews unless the business doesn't pay for Yelp Ads.    If you look closely at the reviews of MedMen, they are great.   And I love the place. It is classy and the staff is extremely well informed. They are eager to help, and their customer service is exceptional. Kudos to the staff for being friendly and informative. The experience was so great that I will definitely be going again, and telling my fellow yelpers to do so as well.

It's always a great experience in MedMen on Abbot Kinney! I recently came in and had Joel help me, he was extremely helpful and knowledgeable. He helped me pick out multiple products for different reasons. A few gifts for the holidays and some gifts for myself! He also showed me some really cool new brands that I haven't heard of yet. Interesting shop and mixed experience for me, but mostly because of how I prefer to shop and the layout of the place.The shop is pretty committed to concierge-style weed service. I get that, and the aesthetic of the shop is cool and sleek. But the concierge service means a lot of people milling about and the display tables with iPad info are long, meaning the space quickly feels crowded and there is not a lot of room to wander and stare at and read about each product. In that way, it felt less casual and chill than I'd expected.That might not bother people, so might be a personal preference thing.The upsides are clear and important: nice range of selection, a lot of staff so you don't have to wait for help, and our interaction with a worker was great ... she knew what she was talking about and gave some great advice.Not the cheapest shop but very quality at every turn.

I'm so conflicted about leaving this review. The staff were really friendly and knowledgeable but they didn't have a lot of things. The biggest issue I had was in using my debit card. They don't take credit which is fine but they don't tell you that an additional charge of $2.50 (maybe more depending upon your bank) is processed as an ATM fee. They absolutely know this happens but don't tell you in advance. That is seriously unethical. Super disappointing.

I'm a total cannabis novice. I walked in to hopefully learn and leave feeling a little educated and safe to try out some products.....I'm glad to write that my hope was accomplished! My parents live nearby so I have been a few times. Very efficient processing..very friendly and knowledgable staff. Last time in I was specifically looking for Sativa only edibles and the staffer directed me to a few options. I have never bought anything but packaged edibles or one vape cartridge..so don't know quality of buds.

This was a chaotic shop. They are trying the Apple retail model with tables and tablets set up in the middle of the room. However, no one is using the tablets and it's just wasted space that people have to squeeze around to get to products. Retail design fail. Everyone gave us a different answer regarding what we were looking for...seemed odd. And most importantly, two employees said it was completely fine to take our purchases on a plane. Actually stepping so far as to encourage us to and being a bit argumentative about it. It's still technically illegal to fly marijuana and bad form on the part of these employees potentially putting a customer at risk. State law doesn't dictate the skyways which is federal jurisdiction.

Slick store it's like walking into high end 7/11 that serves weed. So of course I'm signed in. Quick grab if joint that don't make you feel like a pot head.

Very proud store - boasts itself on their iPads and high tech sales displays. The weed is just as good elsewhere (some same strains are on eaze) but you can't beat anywhere else for the atmosphere then medmen. Also, the prerolls are awesome and they do have good deals sometimes

I'm usually not one to yelp thing but I had an such an amazing experience at MedMen today. Long story short. I was in an accident and have a TBI. One of the side effects insomnia. I have seen many doctors even got a medicinal license because of this. I was going to MedMen to try another thing to help me sleep. But before I purchased it Dan Barzilai asked me if I found everything ok. I explained what was going on just to make sure what I thought I was purchasing was a good buy. The amount of knowledge he dropped on me was mind blowing. He took the time to explain things and ask me about my symptoms and really made me feel like he cared. He also told me you can schedule a consultation with a specific person to go over what you might need. So they dedicate some time just to helping you. Again another thing that made me super happy. I have been to a few dispensaries before the accident and even in trying to find what could help me most but from now on I am going to this MedMen location and asking for Dan. I highly recommend him. Super knowledgeable and again very aware and caring. Ok that's all :)

I had a friend in town over the holidays, so of course, this was one of the first stops he wanted to make. I don't personally 'partake' - but I am writing a review because I was truly blown away by this business model. Not only was our, 'bud-tender', Sarah, extremely knowledgeable (and believe me, my friend had LOTS of questions) but the customer service she offered went above and beyond. She spent lots of time with us and offered great, detailed advice throughout his very thorough  'shopping'. And never with a heavy hand of trying to make a sale, but instead, as if it truly mattered to her that he have the best experience possible. It should also be noted that he was ecstatic with his purchases, claiming everything lived up to exactly as she had advised him they would.It's also one of the cleanest and most well maintained stores that I have ever been in. The layout is so genius and well thought out and everything is very out in the open. I can't be the first person to think of this, but it is like the 'Apple store of cannabis stores'. Truly genius.*Didn't love that, as just the driver who merely got him there, I had to have my ID scanned and give my email address, but that's mostly because I don't enjoy giving up all my privacy to my government.Bottom line: In a world where customer service is all but dead, Sarah was OUTSTANDING at her job. And Kyra, who checked us out, was also very helpful. Well done Medmen!!

The sales woman named "6" was so helpful! Medmen has everything you could ever want and more. I love their sale section too for trying new things.

The taxes are not included in the pricing so expect to pay a lot more for whatever product you check out with. The BREEZ mints had no effect with the suggested strong dose of 3 mints and still no effect with my attempt of 5 mints. The $25 priced mints (20 count) came to $35 when using my debit card and was left with the most expensive fresh breathe I've ever had. Staff and presentation can't be beat but you're better off at a smaller chain shop.

They'll just sell you goods that don't operate - and won't issue refunds "due to CA State laws."  The place is clean but not as fun as it should be.  Staff is normally stoned and slow - but that's across the board.Been screwed a few times at this location and the Lincoln Blvd.If you shop, don't risk it and only buy the flower.

Terrible!! I am absolutely shocked at how ridiculously bad this place was... it's basically literally just a gathering place for rich boujee douchebags. Shit horrible vibe. And yelp listed it with one '$' - DO NOT let this fool you. It should clearly be '$$$$'. It was 25 dollars for a joint?? Twenty five dollars for a single joint.. wow. Maybe I'm just spoiled being from Washington but that is certainly clearly ridiculous. Besides the price- the selection was horrible. The guy knew that the price and selection was for shit and he was apologetic and understood- he said he was from another legalized state and he also thought it was outrageous. Bottom line- I strongly strongly strongly recommend against this place. Horrible. And ps- the huge bright red bag they forced me to put my 25$ single joint in was like 10" by 13"... what a waste??

Great customer service! Very friendly and knowledgable.  Welcoming vibes.  Highly recommended!

Sales people are all very knowledgeable and honest. They don't try to push you towards expensive products, but rather the right product for you. Store is clean, well organized and has good inventory levels. My only issue is they take a photo of your ID and store it in their database, which really worries me because of all the identity theft issues companies (big & small) have been having. Unfortunately I wasn't paying attention at checkout so the woman helping me saved my profile before I could back out of the transaction. There's no exceptions when making a purchase here, so just be aware of that before you arrive and go to make a purchase if that is something that would bother you.

I wanted to like this place in the midst of fun Abbot Kinney but it was a bust through and through. A soulless experience with the feel of greed. The products were costly and ineffective. It was a cold experience. Give me the independent, knowledgeable and cool environment of the mom and pops.  A waste of $130.00, better to donate since the stuff doesn't work. Worst vapes I have ever bought and I have bought many!

It's a bummer to write this review because I've heard nothing but good things about this location, but my experience was disappointing. I came in to get something really specific for stomach pain/nausea and I explained that to the woman who helped me. I asked her what she would recommend, as I'm not as knowledgeable and she recommended a cartridge that was very expensive. I trusted her recommendation and when I got home I looked at it closer and saw that it was one of the highest THC levels they make -- which was the complete opposite of what I wanted and what you use for pain. She should've recommended something with a higher CBD level. I even asked her if I would be able to work on this and she said yes. YEAH RIGHT. I honestly think she just recommended the most expensive thing, which is a bummer because it was a complete waste of money. I really hope you will emphasize to your employees that not everyone that walks in there is looking for a huge high. Some people actually need to treat medical conditions. Not saying I wouldn't come back here, but my first experience was a downer.

I've been to many dispensaries across the country and this is easily one of the nicest I've visited. Everyone was super friendly and very helpful in a way that didn't come off as fake at all. Bernard answered my questions completely and was extremely helpful. I was able to purchase a product that won first place at the most recent cannabis cup due to his advice, and it's been a game changer for me personally. There are cheaper dispensaries out there but unless you're involved in the scene, you're unlikely to just randomly come across a dispensary that carries products of the same quality.

This was my first visit to Medmen. What an experience! Our sales associate Brittany was incredibly helpful, listened well and demonstrated thorough product knowledge. I was with my beau who is a regular user of dispensary products, but I had little to no exposure. Brittany was able to recommend the perfect products for both of us. Every single product we purchased performed exactly as Brittany described. If you happen to visit this location, definitely give Brittany a look!

I'm new to all this, so it was so nice to have the help to pick something for me at Medmen. Joel and Paul helped me pick edibles that were the perfect level of relaxing and enjoyable for me. amazing!

"Like Apple Store for weed" is what their employees will tell you when you come to visit this location in Venice.Yeah right...I've had better experience at Walmart than here. The employees really had no idea what to do and where everything around the store was. I'm a total Noob when it comes to CBD products but seems like these guys knew even less. For every question I asked this lady was taking her phone out and quickly trying to make it look like she's searching for something important while simply Googling questions that I asked. I could be a better weed genius than that myself.Ended up leaving, doing my research and ordering online elsewhere.

Had a horrible experience with cashier Larry H.  Overpriced and rude service.$115 of fees for $300 of product?! No wonder Med Men is going through bankruptcy!Been here plenty of times before but never had this BAD of an experience. I get my products, I'm getting checked out by this guy Larry that keeps going on an on about how the staff cares and that's he's a USMC Veteran.  I personally didn't like his attitude or demeanor so I will never be back at this store.  I'll take my $400 business elsewhere.  15% off for veterans? I was told this by Larry 60 seconds after making a $420 purchase and he said no, can't do it since you've already bought it.  I'm a veteran and it would've saved me $65!   They care so much about you - that they don't apply discounts?? Terrible!  He obviously could care less.  $115 of fees for $300 of product?! No wonder Med Men is going through bankruptcy!This place had no discounts, even though they keep mentioning it at the door and flat out rude staff meaning Larry H. whip denied applying any discounts.

Although I am not a consumer, my best friend shops here often. A few time that I have been here with my best friend , one thing I noticed was how friendly and professional the staff are. The set up and atmosphere is very similar to Apple stores. I was really impressed by their interior because it really looks like a little luxury boutique. I feel like people can shop here with confidence that they are buying quality product. My best friend is a former athlete with lots of injuries that have caused her a lot of pain. Their products have helped her a lot with her pain management. LARRY is the gentleman that usually helps my friend with her questions and needs. He is super friendly, kind , and just genuinely a caring person who listens to the customers and tries to give them the best options. If I had a retail business, I would have wanted every sales person to be like LARRY.

Love the Medmen on Abbot Kinney and go there often. The varity is great, staff is always amazing and it is close. Today, I went in and as always, they asked if I needed anything. Since i frequent often, I did not think there was anything they could help with. The women who asked if i needed help noticed that i was limping. I told her i broke two toes and but knew everything i needed. She asked i wanted the same order from last time - and I said of course! She shopped my order for me - i cannot tell you how much i appreciated this. PLUS, she discussed other products I wanted to add. Super special thank you to Maitte who saved my day and a lot of pain. Thank you for amazing employees like Maitte!I could not be happier. Chrissie

I will not come back here again after being a loyal customer for 3 and a half years. I had a horrible experience with Laural. I would give a one star but since I bought weed I will give two stars. She was rude to me and raised her voice at me for adjusting my mask, my mask was over my face properly. She made a whole scene about it and proceeded to tell me that she wasn't trying to make a scene but if I didn't stop touching my mask I would have to leave the store. I was waiting in line while this was happening and she was checking somebody out and there were four other employees that were doing absolutely nothing just standing around. There was one woman helping a customer and then obviously the person at the door taking the IDs were doing their job.Laural checked me out since everyone else was too busy standing around and her demeanor completely changed and she was acting very kind towards me. I don't appreciate the sudden change in her attitude. A two faced attitude was not something I was looking forward to while buying hundreds of dollars worth of product. This is the end of our relationship, goodbye.

Phew, now this is what I'm talkin' about! I was beginning to think it was me. I've just written a review of another dispensary in Venice, the Rose Collective (please refer to that review for comparison). Four minutes from there are two MedMen dispensaries to choose from. I happened to go here, to the one on Abbot Kinney, immediately after I walked out of the Rose with nothing. Everything I wrote about that dispensary, MedMen is not. The reception at the Abbot Kinney location was welcoming and jocular. There was no wait. Inside, the showroom is bright and well organized into open, informative departments, not hidden behind shielded counters (as is the Rose Collective store).Several customers were shopping while I was. Salespeople were on the floor and one immediately offered his help. I shared with him a photo of a CBD/THC hybrid soft gel that I had bought from another vendor and liked. He understood its nature and presented a few options in kind for me. Across the showroom was another salesman who listened to my description of a smokeable hybrid bud I was looking for and, again, gave me a few options, then recommended a couple he liked (with their proceeds going to charity).At checkout, because I was a local, I was given a 15% discount. One of the items I bought also happened to be on sale. I left a happy camper. All dispensaries should be so supportive of their customers' needs, as informed, and as respectful. If you choose MedMen - Abbott Kinney for your medicinal (ahem) needs, and I suspect it's the same with others in their network, you will not be disappointed.
