These guys are great! Super nice shop. I like that you can come in and work with a knowledgeable guide around the store instead of waiting for someone at a counter.

Had a great first experience at this new business. Was greeted by Matt who was awesome and helped out inside by Olivia. She was amazing, so very sweet, and extremely helpful. I will definitely be coming back for the great products and the friendly staff.

I had a friend come from out of state that wanted to stop by the dispensary so we stopped here even though we were in route to another place. The store is very aesthetically pleasing and the staff friendly including the security guard who came by to let my friend know that the THC Otter pops were already frozen (if she preferred to purchase that way.)Well the store didn't have tons of stock but each item that they had seem to be a very high-quality and somewhat unique. The products offered many different modalities for administration-topical- oral- and more !There was even a vaginal suppository that could be used for Menstrual  cramps although it was quite potent (we did not purchase ). Since it was my friends birthday I let her go on a bit of a spree and and she choose  a very lovely edible cookbook, a pre-roll of an emerald cup winner, two canned  cbd/thc beverages  , jerky, marshmallows that were somewhat high priced but apparently according to her were amazing ( especially the brown butter sage one.). There are some gourmet fruit gummy's that were horrible tasting according to her. My only critique would be to have the staff a little bit more knowledgeable about the strains and potencies of the various products. As a connoisseur, my friend asked questions on strains and potency  that they were unable to answer easily and had to look them up (which was something she could've done.) also- they misunderstood and but an extra item in the bag that we didn't notice - but paid for- which was the frozen otter pops.

Amazing location-so easy to find! Amazing energy in the store with such a friendly staff!  So careful about check in and sanitation. Crazy clean storefront! The pricing was great, I always love fun deals, and the best part-AMAZING PRODUCT! I highly recommend! Definitely will be back!

It was my first time to Embarc and I was sold over seven month old flower. The package date on the jar was 12/15/2019.  That is unacceptable and shady especially since they have only been open for two to three months.  The buds were tiny and brown with an unpleasant smell and it tasted how it looked.  I noticed the person who helped me reading something on the jar, and I honestly feel like they checked the date to purposely give me the old flower that they need to get rid of.  There was only one brand of the purple punch so idk what else she could've read on the jar besides the date. I called the dispensary back to let them know I wasn't satisfied, and they said that I could stop by so they could help me find something else but I had plans and couldn't make it on time.

Stopped in here yesterday and could not have been happier about my decision. Walking in I was greeted and the entry process was very welcoming- sometimes dispensaries make you feel like you are doing something on the 'low' but not here. The store is absolutely gorgeous and the set up makes it even better. It's the Mary Jane version of Gaia-Licious and I 'high'ly enjoyed being able to browse throughout at all the product. I can't wait to go back and get me a Lake and Bake shirt and some more hash infused mini joints.

These guys have $75-$90 8ths that are comparable to a $30 8th in Cali. Dont get bomboozled like me...

First of all. I really appreciate that they're very covid friendly.I loved the security guard was so welcoming/knowledgeable and their recommendations was super fire! The budtender was also really kind and patient. The lay out of the store is also so aesthetically pleasing for my ocd and to be around.

Absolutely loved my experience here! The store is very clean and well kept, and they had everything I was looking for. The staff was also very welcoming and nice which made the experience even better. They did a great job handling the number of people going in and out due to covid and I felt completely safe entering this store - it's clear they've gone to a lot of measures to make sure their customers have a great experience!

This place is fucked up expensive. Just taking advantage of tourists in the area. Don't come here

I'd been going here every 7-10 days for the past 5 months and never had any issues. The staff was great and extremely helpful. Recently, I showed up with two friends and there was a long wait, which was fine. After checking in, one friend went in while the attendant at the door told us we'd need to wait for two people to leave. That was fine initially but since we were together the ten plus minute wait while one of us stood inside was a bit awkward. While waiting another person showed up and we were asked to step aside so they could be checked in ahead of time. Again, we didn't mind at all until the (friend) of the employee stayed at the door and rang the bell for a minute straight until the guard eventually cracked the door open and let them in without a word to me or my friend. I enjoyed watching the person who asked me to wait chatting it up with the person they snuck in while my friend and I continued to wait. Once we finally got inside I was obviously a bit annoyed by the whole situation. The same employee also retorted my observation saying that it was to maximize revenue and get people in and out faster. If that was the case you didn't even offer that to me or the other person in line and instead of letting them in yourself and explaining to us you just let the guard let him in hoping we wouldn't notice. Moral of the story is if you have a friend who works inside, this is the place for you

Beautiful dispensary with a huge selection of items! Every employee was extremely kind and helpful, and the owner was lovely. Definitely check it out if you're in Tahoe!

I have been going to Embarc Tahoe since it opened.  Today, "JC" Mgr and clerk Jenna would not let me in as my License expired in Oct 2020.  DMV told me that it would be okay to use my DL since Covid prevented me from going to DMV to get a new license.  ALL of the other Cannabis stores in town honor my expired license.  I have been using my expired license for months at Embarc w/o issues as they recognized the DMV's policy.  I went to Embarc two weeks ago and NO issue.  TODAY, for some reason, they decided that my expired license was no longer accepted as "JC" said they could lose their license C10-0000695-LIC if they let me in.  REALLY???   Their logic made zero sense since they've been letting me in since their opening.   Totally disappointed with their NEW policy and not letting me in.   I went to another Cannabis store down the block and they let me in w/expired DL and a smile and excellent Customer Service.  Unfortunately, I cannot recommend Embarc because of my recent experience.  Employee Colton is a gem.  Luckily there are several cannabis stores in town to go to.  The store down the block was crowded and they still provided excellent CS.

Great place! First time going and they were super friendly and very helpful. Definitely recommend! They check your temperature before going in which makes me feel more comfortable. Perfectly placed in heavily too!

Stopped by Embarc last weekend during my stay in Tahoe and I'm sooo happy they opened! They're brand new and the *chefs kiss* to South Lake Tahoe. Chris was our budtender and gave us all the best recommendations! Super friendly and knowledgeable of their product. Will definitely be back during my next stay. And during this pandemic everything was clean and sanitized. They only allow a certain amount of people inside, marked queues, all employees wore masks and hand sanitizer every where.

First things first, MASK UP & have your ID ready! They do not play about it!  There were some teenagers trying to get in with fake ID's & were turned away. Upon entering we were greeted with friendly staff ready to assist & answer all our questions. Everything was very reasonably priced. The merch was dope too, my sis grabbed a tshirt on the way out. I wanted a shirt but they were out of my size & I'm not a fan of v necks. I was surprised they allowed me to take pictures inside. I was sure to ask first after visiting a dispensary in Denver & was told picture taking was strictly prohibited. This place was cool, spacious & the best I've seen yet! We didn't get too much because we weren't staying too long. I'm a fan of the individual prerolls so that you're not left having to trash unused products at the end of your trip.

Been vacationing at Tahoe for the last 15+ years. Last year there was only one shop. Glad to see a shop open that's just walking distance from our hotel.Colten did a great job helping me select a flower and provided me the info I needed. Employees were very friendly and the shop was very well-kept. I like that the prices are inclusive of the tax so there's no guessing the total.

Super cute dispensary! So clean inside, they offer masks, gloves, and hand sanitizer when you first walk in. Everything is well organized, love it. Edibles at one corner, lotion at another, etc. Staff and security was super nice!

First time here. Nice folks. Checked IDs at the entrance. Everyone wearing masks. This place is down to earth and clean. Not hipsters here. That's what I like about it. Melissa helped me. She was patient and took her time answering all my questions. She also told me about their specials. No pressure at all. I ended up getting more than what I came in for because customer service was chill. Alert yet mellow. They've got lots of things to choose from and they seem to be knowledgeable about their products.

The newest joint in town (pun intended). Only open for a few weeks, right across the street from Heavenly Village. Very clean, easy walking access. Small parking lot... maybe 5 or 6 spots with lots of foot traffic. Nice displays - get your own items from the stands, except flower and stuff.  Prices posted are out the door (at least for what I bought) - all taxes accounted for.They didn't give me a receipt and I also forgot to ask for it as well. I would have liked to see the product and tax breakdown.

In my opinion best prices around.  Pre-order online let's you view great deals with extremely quick turn around time including pickup and pay.  My first go to store in Tahoe.

Best place in south lake! 10$ joints up to 80$ joints! Best of both and in between. If you're a loyal customer ask for the secret menu. Thank me later

Larissa at Embarc is the sweetest and so helpful! I came in looking for a cartridge and she was happy to walk me through some options and tell me a little about the ones I was interested in. I also had some questions about possible solutions to a friend's concerns around CBD and she helped me find some great options for him. She even took out a neat chart to see what specific products help with certain areas of concern. This was pretty cool and I appreciate the additional attention she was able to give me. Thanks!They're located conveniently in front of the Marriott and they have reasonable prices plus daily deals. It's a really cute shop, super clean and you can walk around and look at products rather than going up to a counter so it feels much more laid back. Although they have a smaller selection of products, they have a good variety so just an FYI for people vacationing; rest assured your favorites are here. Cartridges, tinctures, flowers, edibles, all the goods. I actually had come here last year and found CBD for your pets. This was the first time I tried it for them and since Embarc had brochures and talked me through products pretty well I felt good about trying it. My pets lives have forever been transformed. Healthy, happy, springy pups!
