The past couple times I have been there it's been difficult. This last time though I left with a smile on my face. I had to wait in the lobby for about 10 minutes but then as soon as I got into the back room it had everything ready. This is been so much better than the past couple times. I made an online order of a medical marijuana prescription with this company.  After waiting around 15 minutes, I was able to speak to someone in the back about my order. I double checked to make sure that the percentage of THC listed online for this product was accurate. Online it was over 22% but in the store it was only 15%. This is a "bait and switch" tactic and should not be permitted. People are going by the percentages that are listed online for their medical marijuana Needs and this  could cause many problems for those managing their pain and other issues. I was also very unimpressed by the lack of customer service and professionalism of the employees. I hope the government steps in and shapes up the way this company operates.

Shortly after I made this review I was contacted 2 hours before the stores normal open time for a Sunday and a delivery was set up. Still not ideal but I appreciate them making their wrong, right.

Today I walked into trulieve for the first time where I was instantly greeted by 2 different employees at the front desk who were super friendly and explained the check in process to me and let me know it wouldn't be a long wait today and that I could have a seat. Not longer than 5 min later I was called back to the shop room where Jacob was patiently waiting to take care of me. I explained to him that I was a new patient and had no idea of what to get or try, he asked me a few questions to find out what I was medicating for and recommended some products for me to try. I was very afraid that what I was going to purchase wasn't going to work for me but he assured me that he would take good care of me and let me know that I'd be able to return any product I was unhappy. I have a very hard time sleeping through the night so Jacob explained to me about a few different products that would help me but I was still uneasy. Jacob was very sweet and took him time to explain it all to me which really made me feel more relaxed about the whole situation and made me feel as if I was being very well taken care of. I will be trying the products tonight to fall asleep with and hopefully his recommendations will work great, but even if they don't work for me Jacob made my first time experience wonderful and I'll definitely be returning to this location just for the hospitality and customer service that I was shown today. Thanks Jacob for making me feel taken care of, you couldn't have made the experience any better for my first time. 5 out of 5 in my books Jacob was truly a delight to interact with and learn about the products from.

Had so many bad experiences there since they opened. Half the time the wait is average 45 min. They have cancelled my online orders and I've waiting an hour and 15 min for an online order that was "ready". Its a rock and a hard place because they have the widest selection in town but absolutely horrible. Forgetting to check people in and more... glad to be moving out of state to get a new main dispensary

I got two eights from Trulieve today and once I got home I noticed that one of them looked a little slim so I threw it on my scale and noticed it was only 3 grams. Don't think I'll be buying from here again.

This place is absolutely terrific in almost every way. They generally have a good variety of flower to choose from and if you go in the morning when they open on the right day, you'll get not just your pick of the shipment but great deals on things called Minis and Ground Flower. If that's not your thing, this store puts the High in Verhighety, and the staff are generally knowledgeable enough to give you the info you need about whichever.My favorite part about this store in particular is its customer service. If you have any problem whatsoever with any product, opened, used, or whatever, they will exchange it for you, no questions asked. So if your interested in trying out a particular product and decide you don't like it, it's essentially risk free! What more could you ask for!?Now here are the things I DONT like. The rewards program does not compare to somewhere like Vidacann's, which places a dollar amount discount after x number of accrued points. Trulieve does 10% off a purchase for every 500 or so you spend, and if you decide you want to save your points for a nicer reward you will be disappointed as rewards milestones cannot be stacked. EBT/SNAP holders, seniors, and veterans will enjoy a built in 10% discount in every purchase and receive an additional 10% off for rewards. For someone like me though, their customer service and product are enough to warrant a 5 star rating despite this.Last thing - make sure you know what you want before you enter the launch codes and make your purchase, because the policy is once the transaction is done, your at the back of the line, even if you just forgot 1 thing. I get the reason for these rules but I had an online order once and still had to wait for the whole lobby. I asked that since I waited for everyone who was in the room when I got there anyway if I could ask about minis and got a reluctant "Sorry, no." I get the need for such a policy at such a high volume location but that little aspect is very obnoxious.

A full 24hrs after placing an order (no shorts when placed), I get a call, "nothing you ordered we have in stock".Glad to see the new & improved computer system is worse than the prior system. Come on Trulieve, by now this terrible inventory management system should be a very distant memory, but worse?Your people & products (when you have inventory) are good, but fill rate is not acceptable at any point.

I'm giving you guys 5 Stars because you deserve it.  Not too long ago, most of the low life losers filling out 1 star reviews were buying $30 grams of dirt weed from their teenager's classmate.  Now, they are rotten.  I listened to a grown man request to speak to a manager because he couldn't get Blue Sunshine.  It's embarrassing every time I go in there and sit in the waiting Room with a bunch of cry babies.  Then, I get into the back and hang out with some pretty chill employees who are helpful and knowledgeable.  Sorry you have to deal with losers leaving you one star reviews like they do for the Buick dealership or the Psychic reading place they visited.  My crystal ball says these folks are the same ones who nothing is ecstasy good enough for.

I received an e-mail yesterday at 7:51 AM that my order had been filled and would be here soon. Three phone calls, three e-mails and I get it forty-one hours later, after staying home all day yesterday expecting the order. They need to get there act together.

Hey again, this is just a review about the company being more medically inclined and interested in patient problems. The associates aren't all trained very well in leading medical conversations. They seem a little scared in offering advice, which makes sense because they're all sales associates not med students but this is a medical facility. It's not a cool network of pot heads, even though it appears like that visually, but in all realities the company really needs to focus its team on proper conversations and dialogues with patients. Proper advice: for some reason my sales associate told me I didn't have to put my label on my product but I'm pretty it is the law... With long wait lines it can feel rushed especially when more then two people are in line in the retail space (not out in the lobby with the others in waiting). I want to be able to have easier going dialogues with this associates whom were hired to help. I want some "hey, how's your back? How's your pain today? what are you're plans to prevent pain this week?" I want patients folders to have a more clinical tracking sheet. And to be encouraged to track. Plus some times only men are working and as a women I feel like I'm getting eye-balled and often feel flirted with...which isn't good because again, I'm here for medical relief and guidance and people focused on just* that. Help me out! Please message back.

Absolutely brutal! Just saw a woman go up to the counter 4 times trying to explain they kept skipping her name in the list. Every time they said she was next and then let more people in before her until she had to call them out on it again. Then they had the audacity to blame her and try to take her ID from her! These guys run a horrible shop and their staff are rude and have no idea what they are doing. Stay far away!

Can't say enough good things about #Trulieve and it's staff. Ive been to Clearwater, Bradenton and now Sarasota. They know what strain does what and can answer every question I have. Do I wish they had more products? Yes. Do I also wish the prices were lower? Of course, but that's not Trulieve's fault. The fault lies with the old Florida legislators who still believe in Reefer Madness. One would think when 71% vote for actual marijuana in all forms, we should get Marijuana in all forms. I'm sure over time the product inventory will grow.  The more states that legalize, the lower prices will come. For those complaining about the wait, I've waited hours to see a pain management doctor and then more time at the pharmacy. The longest I've waited at Trulieve was 30 minutes. So cool your jets, while we all try and figure out this crazy States semi-legalized medicinal weed. Or you could always move to Alabama. In the mean time, Thank you Trulieve for your patience, your individual time, your kindness and your knowledge.

I placed an order on 4/26/20. Got a confirm w/ #-then NOTHING. Trying to ck status for 3 days! No record. Went to my 'account' tab under 'orders placed' & it shows it was placed the same day but different order #. Tried checking with that number. Not in THEIR records yet I got an e-mail confirming AND it's listed as placed under 'MY ORDERS'!Finally, I dreaded the wait, but had to call, (see below as to why that is a time wasting & frustrating task-they must have an operations manual copied from Comcast or AT&T)  & the call center agent couldn't find any record of an order. So I have WAITED 4 DAYS FOR NOTHING!AND NO SUPERVISOR TO TALK WITH.OK-I bit my tongue & tried to place my order again. ALL BUT ONE ITEM WAS NOT AVAILABLE! So, $400. order, GONE! I have spent literally thousands with these guys & NEVER had a good delivery transaction (not the delivery guys fault).Are you starting to grasp my frustration level & why I am now ordering from ONE PLANT & elsewhere.The WORST part is trying to call to ask a question. Waited an hour and hung up! THE STORE MANAGER NEVER CALLS YOU BACK WHEN YOU DO REACH SOMEONE AND THEY SAY THEY WILL CALL YOU!C'mon guys, focus on your phone & delivery service! I couldn't place an order or get a question answered so i went elsewhere. SORRY & YES, ANGRY at your lack of service to the customer. I get ads every day re: specials! Spend you ad money on fulfilling & executing!

I went into trulieve Sarasota today (1/28/21 @2/230). I placed an online order and checked in online before going to trulieve. I placed my online order around 11:30am and checked in online around 2ish. I arrive at the trulieve and I'm told my online order was unfulfilled, even though I got a text saying it was ready. So the nice older woman behind the counter calls over the young girl calling people back to shop. She comes over with the worst attitude I've ever encountered at any store, yet alone a dispensary where they treat people with mental and physical ailments. All I asked was "is my order still here or is it missing." And she snaps "IF YOU GOT A TEXT YOUR ORDER IS READY, ITS READY!" As if it I should know that. And even though I check in online and placed an online order they had me wait at least 20 minutes in the lobby, even though the online timer said 10 minutes when I checked in. This is the worst trulieve I've been to and I will not be recommending this establishment to anyone and I recommend you steer clear. VERY UNPROFESSIONAL!!!

They texted me to confirm my delivery in 30 mins.3 hours later they show up with apologies that the officechanged the delivery schedule.....no communication at all.You are just not worth it and your order means nothing!

I've been to this dispensary 3 times now and I've been disappointed every single time. The first time I came here, I waited nearly an hour. They ran out of flower which was so disappointing considering that's what I want. I looked online and saw the $27 mini flower- I made a plan to go in on Wednesday morning- got there at 945am before they opened. I counted that I was number 12 when I got in. I didn't get called back until after 1115am. I watched people who came in after me with no online orders get called back first. Once I got back-They were out of the cheaper mini flower but conveniently had the $43 larger nugs . I won't return to this business. $43-$55 for an eighth is a rip off. UPDATE- I wrote this while waiting in the lobby. I got to the back after waiting forty minutes to be told they have no flower. There was no sign or anything at the front desk. GO TO MUV!

I wanna start out by saying that the people are nice, I order online sometimes and get a message to pick it up and a half hour later get a call saying they don't have what I ordered then I say well I got a confirmation saying it's ready or pickup and they say okay hold on let me double check to see what we have.  Then it's ohhhh well we so happen to have one left just what u wanted it was hidden in the drawer, or you can get something and it's really there if u order it online you may get the lowest thc content which for me doesn't do anything for me so I end up with nothing anyway or another experience I've had is you ask for something and the person next to u asks for same thing your person says we don't have it meanwhile the person to you is getting it with no issues.    And just to let everyone know you can't always get what you need because of the lack of product.  I would suggest them to ask for a bigger shipment of what people ask for the most . listen to your customers please.    But I don't go anywhere else due to . I don't go anywhere else as I don't have a way to get there I've been to muv and curaleaf   With curaleaf your in and out in about 5-10 minutes no matter how many people are there but there is not much to choose from and muv the wait has never been very long quicker than trulieve , but you don't really get the discounts from muv like trulieve so for me they are tied until muv has a better discount system I'll stay with trulieve and suffer the long wait times . I have nothing better to do anyway so I can wait at trulieve as long as I need to but I wanna mention that  I do have episodes sometimes while waiting to get to the back or even in the store.. sorry about that to the other customers I'm sorry if I have an episode while you wait with me I can't control them.    But I try my best not to and it's not bad just maybe annoying to others    I hope you all enjoy trulieve and have a wonderful day. Thanks for reading my personal review and experiences.  And one more thing I forgot to add is check your product before leaving the parking lot cuz I got home opened my jar and it was mostly gone there was 2 small pieces left and it was sealed halfway i definitely was  Mad  there was nothing I could do. I didn't expect to open my freshly bought jar and see there was almost nothing in it.  I thought to myself they will never believe me. So I didn't bother with it .   I got played  they got my money and I got nothing. And it was the only time I had gotten the more expensive kind at that.  So be careful and check your stuff.

From my personal experience, this is the worst dispensary in Florida I've been to. The employees I have encountered are geared towards recreational use and I haven't been treated as a patient. Trying to upsell me more medicine than I need, wasting my time, and working extra hard to make tips by flirting with me is unbelievably unprofessional! I will NEVER be back after my last experience here. If you suffer from anxiety or PTSD, do not go here!!! I was called out and humiliated by an employee here who made me so uncomfortable I had a full blown panic attack as I was leaving the store (first one ever in public - thanks Jason!) They don't seem to care about debilitating health issues here, just making sales and tips. I will only go to Müv from now on - they are so professional, make you feel at ease, don't pressure or humiliate you, and have an actually-stress-free pickup service! GO TO MÜV you won't regret it!

I can't say enough good things about Trulieve. The personnel are friendly, polite, and knowledgeable. I find first thing in the morning is usually busy but it moves quickly and everyone is pleasant. They often have sales and promotions.

Their products are high quality and reliable but some choices are limited and when you get there, they often don't have the ones that are listed on the website at the stores.  No one at the store or on the phone line knows what will be delivered next or is in production.  Also, there is no easy way to call the store directly to find out what is in stock.  The staffs behind the front desks and counters are friendly and helpful. They seem to know what they are talking about and don't push you into purchasing more than you want.  Trulieve also allows exchanges if you try a product and it doesn't agree with you.  A big plus.I will give them 4 plus stars if they increase their product selections and availability.

I don't know what the person above is talking about but if you go here you better be prepared to wait half of a day. The staff upfront is pleasant but crazy inefficient and so slow makes you wonder how can it take that long. Go to MUV! Stay away from here if don't have a half day to sit in office.

I really had high hopes for this place as I had a recommendation from a friend that goes there. First disappointment was they don't sell any disposable vape pens. I really like disposable because I travel a lot. Next thing was the person that helped me was new and didn't really have knowledge of the products. I had to keep asking questions. She wasn't very forthcoming on the difference between the different types of products they had. Lastly she sold me the wrong vape pen. I had to go back and exchange it. And the new pan I have doesn't even work. Very frustrated. Not sure I'll be returning...

I've had a generally positive experience with the store front. I always order online and occasionally see people jump the queue (favorites?), but have only waited 30 minutes or so. Bigger issue is the bogus contact form on the website.  It promises a response in 24 hours.  I've submitted two questions/comments and have never gotten a response. Considering their inconsistent inventory and questionable customer service I'm ready to try alternatives.

I've shopped trulieve both srq and venice and have found everyone friendly, well informed employees (if they don't know your answer they will get one from a mgr!) I am impressed that they do not use ethanol to process,they carry Co2 carts for ease, their products are clean with the exception of ethanol in shatter or crumble I forget which one... I use Co2 carts, concentrates and now bud is freed from the pods life is good. I have perused online and been to surterra and muv dispensaries. Surterra was no great shakes, muv ethanol extraction process turned me off completely... JMHO cheers

I usually go by the store, but since my cancer prohibits me from doing much driving, I have my order delivered. Michael W., and his driver, Devin, are part of the delivery team and, they are the total bomb. Michael is professional, kind, fun, courteous and extremely accommodating with my delivery. I've been to other stores, but I keep going back to the sarasota store. Great staff and very knowledgeable.

Yesterday, tried to order again. Ordered 9lb hammer shatter. Was told by CS there were 5 9lb hammers. was called by very nice lady, " The system says we have 12 here but I have looked through everything and I can't find any. ""CS says you have 5 so I'll come in to pick up with flower." 1 person in waiting room. 22 min to get in back, to be told, "We have it. It says we do. We have 12." I roll eyes and wait. again.... of course, waste of time. They simply can't fill orders. Don't bother. I left again with no bag. Spend your money and time elsewhere.

The staff here are friendly and accommodating, but the problem is they do not stock enough. Tonight's special, 1/2 oz or a 1/4 oz, announced via email at 2:30, had sold out of both within an hour. Bellos pods have been unavailable for several weeks, and concentrates ditto with the exception of very grainy wax. Flower has lately been more available but I believe that's because what they are selling is mostly below 17% THC, which is fine for a frail octogenarian woman with glaucoma but is about like drinking weak coffee for us more desensitized tokers. It's been this way for the last year so they should have figured it out by now. I'm guessing management doesn't have experience with weed stores or is an exceptionally slow learner.

I've been going to Trulieve Sarasota as soon as they opened. Prior to that I had to drive to Bradenton. I don't drive much anymore so Michael usually delivers my medical goods to me. He's incredibly kind and nice to work with. Most of the staff have been very nice and very useful except for the one I got for my last order. She made me feel rushed and wanted me to hang up and call back instead of guiding me through some new products.  She had a wicked bad attitude And raised my anxiety levels and nerves. nonetheless , Michael saved the day ( following) and came with his smiling face and cheerful attitude. There should be more people like him in the world. I'm grateful for you Michael. carolyn g

Never called , text, or emailed to tell me the product was not in stock. I ordered mid day and went to pick up later in the evening. There was 3 people in there returning stuff while I was in there. The express was not express I should have just walked in. I love trulieve. I have several I shop at and always got great service and product. I’ve always been called when they didn’t have a product. I would 100% recommend Trulieve just not this one . I should have known when 3 people did returns.

Friendly knowledgeable staff with honest recommendations, if only the flower they sell you was actually the weight they say it is. 3x ive rec'd under 3.5g, 3.1, 3.0, 2.9g last time in there. They are also mixing strains(cutting) like a shady drug dealer does. Wouldn't be surprised to find a strain they sell you is something completely different.

I appreciate the nice, friendly, comfortable atmosphere they have as well as the awesome staff at this location. I prefer to not have to bring my children with me just because it makes me less stressed when I don't have to bring my little one on errands. If I do bring her, it doesn't matter what location I go to their ALWAYS VERY sweet & kind to my little one while she's dancing away. They usually have some music playing, she is quiet but likes to dance. Thanks for taking care of me today Bill!! You rock ✌️?? Also the manager was very nice and helpful. I didn't catch her name but she's got dark, curly hair and pretty. Thanks to you girl for making everything go smoothly and to Bill for being the coolest budtender! ? ?? Never called , text, or emailed to tell me the product was not in stock. I ordered mid day and went to pick up later in the evening. There was 3 people in there returning stuff while I was in there. The express was not express I should have just walked in. I love trulieve. I have several I shop at and always got great service and product. I’ve always been called when they didn’t have a product. I would 100% recommend Trulieve just not this one . I should have known when 3 people did returns.

Friendly knowledgeable staff with honest recommendations, if only the flower they sell you was actually the weight they say it is. 3x ive rec'd under 3.5g, 3.1, 3.0, 2.9g last time in there. They are also mixing strains(cutting) like a shady drug dealer does. Wouldn't be surprised to find a strain they sell you is something completely different.

I appreciate the nice, friendly, comfortable atmosphere they have as well as the awesome staff at this location. I prefer to not have to bring my children with me just because it makes me less stressed when I don't have to bring my little one on errands. If I do bring her, it doesn't matter what location I go to their ALWAYS VERY sweet & kind to my little one while she's dancing away.
