I went in yesterday to check it out.  There is a security guard who buzzes you in and checks your ID and then buzzes you in to the the main room.  Very spacious, music was low & pleasant, the displays were very nice & the décor was nice.  I was helped by a young man named Justin who thoroughly explained the products and made a few suggestions.  Low key and no pressure.  The other staff was equally friendly.  I'm not a dispensary expert, but this place is nice.

all good products and all but it is super pricy. but hopefully that's because of pasadena not them

I love this place!  First class all the way.  Very nice staff, unbelievably large selection.  Everyone from the guard out front to the folks behind the counter are very helpful.  I'm so happy that finally there is a place for me to go in Pasadena.  No more going out to the Westside for a top-notch dispensary!  Woo Hoo!!  Don't listen to the person who complained about price.  I thought it was reasonable...and frankly, a store of this size with many, many displays, and loads of parking out back ain't cheap in Pasadena.  This is the best place I've found anywhere...even beats Caña Farms in the San Fernando Valley.Happy, happy, happy.

This store is gorgeous!! The staff was so nice and helpful, and also wore masks and made me feel very comfortable. Everyone was really knowledgeable- all my questions were answered and I loved their recommendations! Happy to have this spot in Pasadena. Go check them out!

I love coming to this location! I drive all the way from upland only because of the amazing service I receive! As soon as I walk in the guys up front are super friendly and polite and they all have amazing energy!!!! They always have treats up front!!! The guys up front are the energy honestly because they are the first face you see! The budtenders are very nice as well!! Love it here!

UPDATE YOUR HOURS!!! This is the second time I have been turned away before 10 pm. Arrived at 9:49pm. I blow way too much money here for this to be an issue.

The store has hours published that state it closes at 10. Some white guy that works there must think he's a big boss And tried to close the store 15 minutes early making up some lame excuse that he has only one bud tender. Then he said I can wait for five minutes and if they haven't freed up then I still can't buy anything. Honestly absolutely ridiculous I've been to the store at least five or six times by and and spent 150$ minimum. this one experience he gave me has ruined all of the past experiences the other great team members have game me. you suck bro you, really do suck at your job and probably at life.

This place is always well stocked with a ton of products. The staff is friendly and knows what they're talking about. The prices are pretty average for the area. I'm giving it four stars because the lighting inside is not stoner friendly. Very harsh lighting. Other than that, it's a cool place.

To each's own, but as a person of means, this is exactly the type of shop I prefer! Excellent communication. Excellent selection. Knowledgeable staff. Very clean. And, excellent security for a safe shopping experience. Maybe, a tad more in price, but worth knowing you're getting a verified and certified product.

This place is trash, I went there twice the first time was super awkward, they ask you your price point and then act shook if you say there isn't one you just want the best, then this last time I go get some bud and encounter the same shook attitude about price just to go home w/160+ worth of dry trash--save your time and money and go anywhere else -- fing annoying I was actually excited about this place

This place is great! Super clean, and feels safe. Security checks your ID at the door then let's you in. Store legit looks like an apple store for weed. A staff member personally helps you pick out exactly what you want and they have so many options!! Best of all, the pricing is super reasonable. I also got a free can of holiday gummies for a penny! Literally two for the price of 1. 10/10 highly recommend

Everytime I come here I'm well attended to and well informed on new products or products I'm interested in but unfamiliar with. Always happy with my choices whether it's edibles, flower or concentrates. TRY THE BREATH MINTS!!

Customer service here is wonderful! As soon as you walk in they pull out the red carpet and give you 100 percent of their attention!  We have been here at least four times and have NEVER had bad service.  Definitely will keep on coming back!!

Ugh. Just pulled up to Varda to see the security guard wearing his mask under his nose. Indoors. Chatting up the other security guard. Unbelievable that people are still confused by how to wear a mask. Got right back in my car and left. Get it together, Varda.

Actually amazing! So organized everyone is really nice even the security guards. I was greeted twice and the deals are crazy!!

Love love loooove!! Grateful a dispensary like this is open here now! This entire area has been needing a spot with good prices and a great selection. Tried some of their Autumn Brands flower and Créme pre roll, both met my picky needs!! Can't wait to come back and see what else they have!

I've been to many dispensaries over the years and this one was by far one the weirdest I've gone too, yet still overall happy with my purchase. This is one of those "med men" style shops that sets their shops up like an apple store to make you think their decision to hire a marketer to package everything up in environmentally unfriendly (yet colorful!) packaging makes them "legit" or "legal." They occupy a large space and it was completely empty when I showed up. I ordered ahead of time online but had to double check my order once I arrived because they packaged an item incorrectly. Had to do some searching on their online store because they simultaneously listed some of the best and worst deals. Waited around a bit for them to fix the order and it was uncomfortably quiet in the extra large store. Employees were all just awkwardly lined up and didn't really make an effort to talk or anything which is probably fine. Walking into this store stoned is definitely jarring lol I will go back if notice a good deal online

Everyone here was super helpful, especially Caroline and Justin. They found us exactly what we needed and went out of their way to make sure we were happy and got what we needed! We will definitely be back here. If you're looking for a big selection and great customer service, I would recommend this shop over any other!

Pleasant surprise.  Its a legit shop so they have to charge tax.  Its very clean and has extensive products.

Top notch. Staff is very friendly, they don't rush you. Very knowledgeable answered my questions from product to product. Very clean from the parking lot to the inside.

I loved this store until today. I HATE wasting my time so I always try to get information before I do something. I called the store to ask if a friend who was visiting from outside the US (a tourist) would be able to go in the store (because I think it's a great store) and they said "Yes, tell her to bring her passport or visa". There we go to the store just to be told to walk away at the store because only US issued ID's are acceptable. This is a filter you guys should know how it works, to not be turned away at the door after wasting everyone's time. I guess no more twice a week visits for us at Varda, going back to ordering online and not recommending anymore. Ty.

new dispensary in pasadena! super large space, with an exorbitant selection. I bought edibles which were $22.50 and they have a promotion right now where if you buy 2 then you get the holiday pack of edibles for a cent!! employees were super helpful and kind, the security guard in the front that buzzes you in was hella chill too! would definitely come back again for the premium experience

So I when to this shop today for my first time and they wouldn't let me in because of my green card ID I been to dr green thumbs and cookies store with my green card I'd some budtender came out and ask the security if that was agreed card and told me I can't go in I feel like that was kinda racist. Never again I going to step foot there again f this shop and everybody that's works there u racist mfs

I've been driving to Studio City to a comparable competitor for years so I'm extremely happy that a quality dispensary has finally graced the city of Pasadena. Beautiful large space.Lots of free parking.Secure location. Wonderful, friendly, smart staff. Good prices plus the packaging ensures that you know what you're getting. Thank you Varda.

Overpriced. Overpackaged. Avoid. Ready for the "apple store" design trend in cannabis to be over. You can get almost their whole menu delivered directly to your door for less money than going to the store.

When I go, I usually go to the Stiizy place out in Los Angeles, but I had heard about this place in Pasadena, so I checked it out.  The first difference that I noticed is the lack of heavily armed (yet friendly) guards that are always on duty at Stiizy Los Angeles.   There was one guard at a desk in the main lobby, and he scans your ID and off you go.  It's a rather large space, immaculately clean, super organized, and very well lit.   Masks are required at all times, by the way.   I got greeted right away, and did not have to wait for more than one minute to be helped.   Everything is listed on the huge display screens behind the counter, but not everything-everything is listed.   I wanted a specific cartridge "flavor" for my PlugPlay that wasn't listed, but I asked the super cool young lady behind the counter for it, and sure enough, they had what I wanted.  It seems like they have everything you could want, from pre-rolled, to vapes, to bags, to whatever else you'd need.   Here's the downside, though:  it's expensive.   You pay for what you want, plus CA sales tax, plus CA excise tax, plus a Pasadena excise tax.   So my already pricey cartridge was made even more expensive by all of the added taxes: I paid a total of $73.00 for my $58.00 cartridge.   I don't know if Stiizy Los Angeles has those fees or not, as I don't smoke out all too often and it's been at least three months since I've been there.  Still, it's nice only having to drive to Pasadena instead of downtown LA.   They take cash and plastic.   If you pay with a card, they round up your total and add a three dollar processing fee.   There is an ATM inside, and it has the three dollar fee, too.

Oh man, just found my new favorite dispensary close to where I live! Staff was friendly and knew their products well. (I been a daily smoker for over 20 years,so I would know if they didn't)Thanks Varda staff, you know I'll be back soon! (Thanks for the recommendation on the Creme flower. The wife and I both took 3 hits and our Panda Express tasting real good right now)

I went to this place yesterday as a new customer, the staff was extremely friendly and Varda had a great selection of CBD with THC products to choose from. After looking around I was finally ready to speak with one of their staff members to discuss my needs and this lady who's name I dont remember but she's African / American  and maybe all of 5 ft1 and somewhere in her early to mid 30's she was beyond amazing. This lady explained all current promotions, she explained the ratio of CBD to TCH and which products had more CBD or THC .After all my items were selected I was very delighted with this store. Over all 10 star experience if Yelp offered 10 stars.

COVID-19: Social distancing is enforced at this establishment. All of the staff wears a mask. All customers are expected to wear a mask too. The staff do not wear gloves. There are some hand sanitizers available for customers to use. They are not sanitizing in between customers. While I was here with some friends in this establishment several days ago, I asked if they had any special offers and they had several different offers for each day of the week. They also do not allow pets in their establishment.Parking: The parking lot for this establishment is in the back of the establishment. The parking lot is a bit small, but the parking spaces are pretty big and wide.Store & Staff: Wow. The establishment is pretty big. They have a lot of display cases with various types of weed for you to choose from. The aisles are wide, clean, and neat. The staff here are very friendly, kind, patient, and informative. They accept only cash, so bring cash.

Erika was so helpful and patient with my order. She took the time to show me the “deals” and was so friendly. Dean also helped my partner while we were there and also made the entire experience so easy and pleasant. We are from the Inland Empire and we don’t have dispensers right like this out there so we will definitely be returning. The place is so clean and they take temperatures upon entering which was comforting. Thanks again Dean and Erika, my pink haired twin !

Really nice people. Security guard was chill and so were the staff. Michelle helped me out and she was super nice! She was patient and answered my questions about different brands to help me pick the best one. Overall really happy with my experience. I would go again ans hopefully have her help me out again :)

Great customer service! The vibes are super welcoming as soon as you walk through the door, but special thank you to Keys. She really connected with me and help get me the perfect flower and concentrate the best suits me. She suggested Cinderella 99 flower which was amazing! It's the perfect toke and go run errands kind of high. And the cereal milk concentrate is a super relaxing with a very smooth and tasty hit. Thank you so much Keys! Get suggestions, I'll definitely be back and will highly recommend this place!! ?

We came here a few weeks ago and we cannot shake the guy at the front desk. He was so awesome, dressed full tie dye and made our experience so fun. This place was great, very large and lots of options. Would honestly just come back for the guy helping us at the front desk.
