Of the 5 dispensaries I've been to, this was my least favorite. The website had all different strains than what was actually available, so I was thrown off right away and not prepared. When we discussed what was available, there was no printout or good way to see the test results. The highest test thc was something like 13%, which is way below the rest of the state, and they charged me $70 for the eighth, saying the higher thc strains cost more. This was the most expensive bud I've bought, and it wasn't particularly good. 1 and done for me here. I was not a fan at all.
They charge me and. Never deliver any thing they stool my money and they thieves and they didn't deliver any thing in this bad days they such mother fucker thieves carful every body
By far the best of the three Rhody med sites. Decent prices, good staff which puts them far above the other pair who have gotten greedy (Slater) with significant price bumps and Summit who ditched their best deal (2 joints for every 100 spent). Consistent pricing, good weed quality, friendly and quick service Greenleaf has aged well, the others declined.
Never coming back here. After visiting a bunch in Colorado and California, I've learned there are two kinds of dispensaries. The ones with friendly people, and the ones that seem to be run by actual drug dealers who make you feel like a scumbag if there's an issue. Sadly, this place is the latter. I had a serious problem with an eighth I bought here, it had a bad chemical taste (see other review re: poor flushing techniques.) Written website inquiry: no response, nothing. When I called and asked them to replace it (and I was really nice about it), the "manager" on the other end of the phone said "No," without more. Then, I asked if I could get a one-time discount next time I came to resolve the issue. "No." I thanked him for his time and hung up. By contrast, people in Secaucus are really nice.
I am a medical patient. This is basically a liquor store. No cartridgeNo prerollNo pre ground No edibleNo concentrateNo daily flower menuNo in store visualsWebsite doesn't represent actual strains at ATCIt feels like a bootleg cannabis operation. They aren't trying to compete in the market, they are clearly comfortable presenting at the minimum. This is not a boutique shop, there is nothing cute or quaint about their presentation. They aren't trying to be small town Montclair and stay away from technology. They just don't care. The cannabis market is booming, the opportunity for variations of administration is vast. Green leaf just doesn't respect its customers enough to try. It would be like going to a liquor store and only being able to know what beer they have via a computer screen you can't see. This is a clear example of lack of competition, only having six ATC's in the state a mediocre store like this gets through. When the state opens 10... 20 centers this shanty will sink like the titanic. Go to harmony in Secaucus. It's clean, they have options, and a daily menu. The employee experience is great, friendly and helpful. It seems the management/ownership is content providing a below average medical marijuana experience.... simply... because they can.
Expensive. They do not allow you to call orders in anymore. You are subject to scarcity and the line for when you go.They also do not post when they are closed. Maybe utilizing the internet to communicate with your customers would be wise. Even Google said you were open.Last month, I was told I could not call in an order due to demand. But in line the person in front of me as well as behind me had called in orders to be set aside. I live over 40 minutes away from the store. They treat patients differently from one another in this manner, just seems wrong.I hope legalization can finally come to NJ so terrible businesses like this can go under. The NJ medical marijuana program is designed to exploit patients so the state can profit off of them as much as possible. Perfect competition would be the end of this business.
The people at Ascend are very nice and helpful so I always have a positive experience here picking up my medicine. This is my main dispensary and I would recommend the verano jars to anyone especially their "G Line"!
The customer service and everything is OK but the quality of the product leaves much to be desired especially for people who truly need this for medicine. None of their facts are stated on weed maps that information has been left off the site.so I had to go in and try myself and was very disappointed
Staff was decent, flower is terrible and dry unles it's Curaleaf, or kind tree. The only thing is that charge more than anywhere else
Great place! The workers are exceptionally helpful, they always have great recommendations on what strains you should try. Sure the parking can be a hassle, but that's Montclair for you LOL. I also love that there's online orders, even though there's never been a long line when I arrived, it's easy to pop in and pick up your order. Great dispensary and definitely recommend!!
Not a fan of most hydro bud, especially this hydro... it was poorly flushed, tasted like cardboard and gave me headaches (due to the poor flushing techniques ). Honestly if you are looking for good clean medicine, this is not it. Look for good soil grown herb if you can find it out there. On top of the bud being subpar, they call themselves a "compassion center" that charges $140-$160!! a quarter!!! thats robbery straight up.. should be 0 compassion center, makes me sick.
I was very nervous initially but once I got into the center I felt at ease. The staff is knowledgeable, the process was quick & easy & the product is great!
For someone who had never smoked anything in her 30 years of life, I was expecting the process of getting my first medical marijuana prescription to be very intimidating. Thankfully that was not the case with Greenleaf Compassion Center. As soon as you walk through the door, the staff is very pleasant to deal with, and even fun. The whole environment lends itself to patient privacy, which also relaxes me. Before picking up my prescription, I was given a very informative tutorial on how to take my medication, and they answered any and all questions I had to make sure I was comfortable. They carefully listened to all ailments I am trying to treat and gave me the best options for both day and nighttime. The whole process was smooth from start to finish and after trying my first dose, I am satisfied with the results.
This far from a ish show . Great staff very covid safe they make sure you leave what you came for. I hate the prices they are same everywhere. Secaucus is the worst I prefer my weed in buds . Where do s the white widow buds
PLACE WAS A SHIT SHOW. all I can say is i'll never be back. they do not practice or respect Covid Guidelines. They just pile you in while collecting multiple med cards. (who knows if they clean them after before giving them back!?!?!?). They don't care if you been waiting online because they will call people names who aren't even check in and then have people ask who was online first which also causes confusion to the customers/patients because they should know this. I honestly will never come back here and think they just don't care about you or what's really happening in the world to protect those around you. Place again was a shit show
Super kind and patient staff . Helpful for first timers. Will answer any and all questions you have. Highly recommended.
The staff was great! The only complaint I have was that I ordered online for pick up and still had to wait in a 2 hour line to pick up my order. High quality products - I got flower and lozenges
Went there today, no lines!!! Like Arise which was over an hour and a half in the winter! The staff is super helpful and nice! This will be my main dispensary!!! Mahalo!!!
The representatives clearly do not have a firm grasp of the products under their jurisdiction. I was quite clear in my request for a pure Sativa product and when I arrived home after making said purchase from Olivia, I discovered that said product was largely an Indica base. To no avail, my emails over a two month period to Julio (one of the alleged owners) have not been responded to. In a related vein, I have called the Center directly and have left messages for managers and have to date, received no response.Suffice it say, their lack of professionalism is appalling. Also, buyers beware, the preponderance of products they feature online are rarely in stock and yes, during the pre-pandemic period.
Im really satisfied with everything I purchased at this dispensary. I ordered online and picked up, the process was quick and easy. The staff is friendly, and they were able to give me some good discount. For me, the only thing that can improve is the packaging. But, that's my preference. Im looking forward to my next visit.
Lacking in space and efficiency. I really thing these two problems are interconnected. At there other location there is not this bottle neck long wait time cause by having to check in and order at the front. Even online orders were waiting as two employees checked various people in then walk them through their selections.
1-star if you have anxiety and want to lose it real fast driving around Montclair. There is Parking Enforcement galore and electronic parking meters that you have to be prepared (download an app, register, etc.etc.) to operate - oh, and look out for "SPECIAL ENFORCEMENT" spots where you can't renew your parking time on your phone while waiting!!!! -Also be aware that while waiting on the sidewalk outside Ascend's blackened door with no bell (you have to knock!), nosy passers-by continuously ask the people in queue what's behind the door and what you're doing there - and if they can just buy - and to move so they can pass. As INCONVENIENT as you can imagine - especially on a weekend.Once you get in, it can also take forever, because the staff are a little, er, SLOW - which increases your parking costs...Unless you live here or are in the vicinity, there is absolutely no benefit to drive a distance to go here. The people are nice, but they don't go home with me - the product does - and Ascend's own grown product (AW) was sub-par this go-round. I swear the Blueberry (their only high-THC product) I'd just purchased had hints of mold, unless that is the 'flavor' or the previously-untried strain. Absolutely not effective, at least for myself. Almost all of TerraAscend's brand sports medium THC levels and the 2 varieties I tried one each of were all DRY AS HELL.Can't wait to get sick on my non-returnable medicine because of a crappy grow.On a side note, if you go here, Verano's G-Line is fabulous.TerraAscend's strains need to step-up their game and up their THC levels to help those that need it... and to keep an eye on the quality control please. Moldy essence on burned cannabis is not good to smoke. They just got a fancy logo and painted the joint.
Pros: Excellent staff, solid bud, no gloss presentation.Cons: No gloss presentation, weedmaps does not accurately reflect stock.I personally don't care that the presentation is sort of backroom-in-the-gas-station casual. This is not as snappy as Woodbridge or Secaucus (when it was open), but I'm not there for fancy, I'm there for the meds.Which so far (snowdawg), seem to be excellent. The staff is outstanding. Very polite and helpful.I was there on a Monday morning, so there was about a 30 minute wait, plus they were concerned that everyone should get something after waiting in line, so there were maximum limits on many items. I will come back at some point when they're not so busy, and hopefully have a fair amount of stock.
