Wow! I must say this is one beautiful facility. From the ins and outs these guys did an impeccable job with the set up of this new dispensary in the Metro Detroit Area. Today is the first day of its Grand Opening Week of special events, giveaways and offers. I can't wait to return again for another great experience. Great Customer Service, such a humble staff. I have to say I have been going to dispensaries all my life. This is by far one of the best dispensaries available and the best customer service available. I have been going here for a very long time they have a great selection of pre-rolls and herb and cartridges. I would like to give kudos to Stephanie  Sharp for great customer service. And all of my experiences I had one bad experience and stephanie made it right and took care of me and I thank you for that. I will be a customer for life! Top notch !!

Sexualized by staffAs I was getting my temperature checked by the guard, he told me I'm "extremely beautiful", he "likes em small" and also said "mhmmmmm" as I walked away. On the way back to my car I was looked up and down. Not that it matters what I was wearing, but it was a long sleeve full cover blouse and long skirt that went past my knees. Also this man looked around 35 and I'm 21.

I just recently moved up here from South Florida and this dispensary is by far the nicest I've seen in either of the two states. They've got tons of options for purchasing from in person with a budtender, online ordering with curbside pickup and even offer delivery on orders over $100 which is super easy to do. I have already spent over $1,000 here in the last 5 weeks so I've had a ton of experiences already with the staff. The security is checking temperatures before you even enter and everyone has to wear a mask so no worry for those concerned about corona. There can be a bit of a wait when it's busy but the shop has a ton of awesome glass, rigs, lighters and tons of other accessories you can browse while killing the wait time. Once you're taken into the back room to see the product you usually have a budtender that seems to be knowledgeable more often than not about the products. They always have a wide selection of tree which is what I primarily purchase and they're always rotating strains so it keeps me interested to try new ones. I find the staff is pretty friendly and welcoming to me so I'm always happy to come back to give them more business. In all the purchases I've made in this short time I only had one single slip up where the budtender gave me the wrong 1/8th and I didn't notice until I was home but it was still a good strain so I was okay with it. LIV is my go to spot for amazing products and everyone I've brought here has been blown away by it. I highly recommend coming here for all your marijuana and CBD needs.

Completely unorganized, terrible customer service, poor management, EXTREMELY RUDE RECEPTIONISTS, long wait, shitty product. Cares more about non-medical patients, more then licensed medical patients. What a shame.

This place is an absolute shit show. Don't even have time to go through the horrible process, but my advice is call and immediately ask for a manager to get any kind of decent service. Or just go to Breeze and save yourself the hassle and yelling of the security guards in the parking lot.

This is my exclusive dispensary -- been going here both by myself and through the curbside line with my dog since they opened. Had one glass piece that was broken on unboxing, and a simple phone call and short trip back was all it took to get a no-hasslw replacement. Everyone here is friendly, courteous, and mellow as hell (but not lazy!)As good as the pot is here, the people are the ones that make it worth a trip.

I like LIV, but this is the second time I've been had by their false advertising. Online it shows you "THC" content, when in reality it's a sum of CBGa, terpenes and THC. It also says "hybrid" whereas the box clearly states that it's a sativa, which I am not a fan of. Frustrating because I can only buy once/month and those are the only metrics I use to choose my product, and they are both wrong. Always good product but this just seems so lazy. Hopefully this isn't intentional, but those kinks should be worked out by now.

Visiting LIV was my first time in a Michigan recreational store. I was very pleased with the timeliness, amicable staff, options & prices. I look forward to visiting again when in Ferndale. Brianna was so sweet and helpful.

I went to LIV and I was so happy. This dispensary  is upscale and so clean. The workers are very knowledgeable in all cannabis products. The location is ideal and the customer service is phenomenal. I wished they stayed opened later than 9pm, but most dispensaries have these hours. My new spot in Ferndale.

THEY ARE SHORTING ALL THEIR WEED and the excuse is an absolute joke!!! I have been shorted by .2 on every 8th on at least 4 separate occasions is 3 weeks, with 6 different strains, 3 different growers, 1 of which had literally just come in that day. EVERYTHING IS SHORT BY EXACTY .2!!! That doesnt happen. They are changing out the pre-packaged growers product to a LIV prepackaging, and at some point during this .2 is lost. Come to your own conclusion. Mine is that they are shorting us. You dont lose exactly .2 from every 8th with that much variation in the product.  AND... Lets assume they were initially doing this by accident  -   They have been alerted to this issue for multiple weeks but have not re weighed their product and wont weigh it in front of you. That means they are doing this knowingly!!!! They know the product is short and sell it to you as if its not!

Recently received an opened delivery.  Tried to explain that the plastic package was ripped open.  Liv replaced the order but it was short by wgt.  I think that the original driver who made the delivery stole from sack.  Management was rude.  Almost accusing me of stealing.  I tipped the original driver better than $17.00 and had only $5 in change to tip Ryan the driver who delivered the replacement sack.  Check your order, weight your order and never use delivery from LIV.

Everyone was super nice! Very good vibes and short wait times would definitely go back!

I went here for the first time today and I love the set up! The waiting room is a smoke shop and anyone (18+) can go in the smoke shop/waiting area, but only med patients can go into the actual dispensary area in the back. I've never seen that at a dispensary before  pretty cool. The selection is great. They have all of the vapes/ cartridges/ edibles that most other dispos have, so if you're loyal to any brands they probably have it in stock (from what I could tell). The bud selection was quality I only have 2 complaints:1. I bought 10 grams and they were not weighed out in front of me. I got 3 3.5g containers.. I get the convenience factor for the people working the counter, but I weighed everything when I got home and I was short a half gram total. 2. I was also a little irked at the unnecessary use of three plastic containers when everything would have fit into one perfectly fine. I will def be back but if I'll probably insist to have everything weighed for me personally.

I've been going to LIV for about 6 months. I started as recreational but used the program they were promoting to obtain my medical card, totally legit! The staff is so friendly, I've gotten freebies from the bud tenders and the ladies in the front constantly hyping me up with compliments. I've only once had a problem with a staff member having an attitude but maybe she was having an off day. The security are super nice and I've never had anything except good interactions with those men. All in all LIV is a cool place for medical and recreational patients, they love their customers and I love them

First time there, treated like royalty.  My Budtender Caelin was the best!  Fast, efficient, in and out quickly.  Will definitely be back and recommending to others.

LIV is the best dispensary in Michigan hands down! The facility is beautiful and very modern! Everyone in there especially my girl in the morning is amazing! Their all so very kind and helpful!

had a broke savage cart. omg what a hassle. 2 managers later I was told they dont carry that anymore but they tried to upsell me or use my points to get a different brand.I've spent alot of money here and planned to spend alot more because it's close. The manager tells me they could take a 5 dollar loss but not a 15 dollar loss. So all my future business is not worth 10 bucks. screw you. then tried to shake my hand and tell me have a nice day. UPDATE:  manager josh called to make peace. he forgot to hang up the phone so the guys are talking about me on my voicemail.The owner "Duane"...  I dont think he was the owner..  all I know if my employees were caught on voicemail badmouthing a customer they no longer would be employees.

Super clean space; incredibly helpful and friendly staff. It's huge in here! It's nice they have a glass shop in the front lobby.

WOW. Today was my first time ever being in a dispensary. And I was stunned! Was greeted by some very nice ladies up at the front who made me take a pager. It wasn't very long till the pager started buzzing. I was greeted by a gentleman named Blake. And wow. I've been working in costumer service for years and this guy tops the chart! I've never seen such enthusiasm and excitement for helping me out! He found things that fit my budget and gave me some amazing things to try! Thank you Blake for giving me the most amazing first time I could ask for! Will be coming back and telling friends thanks to Blake! Can't wait to try what he recommended me!!

Very quick and easy. Great staff and good collection. I went on a Thursday evening and was in and out within 15 minutes, price was good too.

Staff is super friendly and professional. Very nice facility as well. They made me feel very welcome and answered all my questions, even the dumb ones without making me feel annoying. Lol. I definitely recommend this place :) will be referring my friends...only downfall is some of the prices and parking depending what time you go but overall great dispo!!

Fast, reliant, convenient and easy to work with. Not to mention after you know yourself, how you like to experience cannabis and what works for your unique productivity, you're off to the races and Liv cannabis will supply you (hopefully indefinitely lol).

Just another dispensary that doesn't give a shit. They sell prepackaged weed that is flattened, dry and brittle, smells like grass, and has no flavor. And of course, over priced. So difficult to find quality anymore.

If you're moving a high volume of cars through a pickup line, ya need a better system than shouting at people if you think they're not moving fast enough. Seriously. Was helped by a lovely female employee. Went to check through my order (cause it's just a smart thing to do when you're dropping some serious coin). All was fine, she came to double check and I said I was good to go. So she asks me to please pull up so that others can get through the line. No problem there, I get it. But before I can even put the car back in drive this male employee starts yelling over her, at me, to MOVE NOW because PEOPLE ARE WAITING! Whoa, macho man...maybe try some of your store's products cause ya literally sell chill pills? Note to store owners: a male employee hollering over a perfectly capable female employee at a perfectly capable female driver...it's kinda gross and maybe not so great for business, you know? Selection is decent, price is typical for SE Mich but nothing special for the area so two stars. Will definitely be trying another place next time.

Was pretty let down when I went to use their service and was told to come grab my order only to find out they closed early and were all walking out by 9:03... was sad that they didn't even think about going back in after seeing customers waiting both on camera and once they walked out. Will for sure never go back for this reason. Never make someone drive out of their way when you don't in fact finish one's order. That's messed up

Product was good. I only had edibles, so I can't speak to other product. But the service was a bit intimidating. The "budtender" assigned to me spoke extremely fast, and was facing the product the entire time so I had a hard time hearing her. I tried to ask questions, but she was very generic and I felt rushed. Basically they are all the same, she said. I kinda wanted someone to walk me thru things. Also, you can't hold the product yourself to read the label. They have to hold it while you lean over and read it. Maybe that's how all dispensaries are, but it felt like overkill. She's literally assigned to only me. Her sole job is to watch me and wait on me. How am I going to slip something in my pocket when she's watching my be every move? Made to feel like I'm  a criminal. Also, the back area where the edibles were... it was very loud. either they had a big fan blowing, or music playing because I had to shout to be heard. This is the first dispensary I've been too, so maybe they are all like this. The gummies and chocolate were very good, I just didn't care for the shopping experience. Also, parking is confusing and tight. Don't enter off of Hilton. Enter from Sylvan off of Wdwd Hts.  And the security/parking guards felt skeezy. Don't forget, they are cash only. ATM on site is a nice touch and was helpful.

Update 8-23-2021Liv is slipping hard. The front desk has gone from cute helpful people to people of attitudes. Bud tenders not recognizing regulars. Saw an old man go off in the lobby because they took several rec patients before him on the medical side. They bait and switched my bee cookies with some petrified micro-nugs. Also no way in hell these could be fresh michigan bee cookies the boveda packs were dry and written in french which means it's canadian warhouse weed. -2 stars and I'll only go to liv in an emergency now.

This review is from someone who doesn't smoke or partake, and is a description of our experience and not the product. Came with my sister and my dad because my sister from out of town needed some cigarettes. We had to register as this was our first time, they take your ID and get your email also and set you up for a rewards program based on how much you spend. FYI - it is cash only but they do have an ATM inside. Everyone was very friendly and quick to help. There is a lobby area when you walk in and where you register. You will get a buzzer like in restaurants when it's your turn. There are several comfortable chairs in the lobby and lots of smoking paraphernalia to look at and buy. After your buzzer goes off, you are instructed to stand at a certain number, kind of like waiting in line. Eventually you move up and stand in from of the doors to enter with your "budtender."Our budtender was great, and helped my sister with what she needed. It seemed like a friendly place but also a bit rushed. I did ask some questions and received knowledgeable answers.  My sister said that things are on the provider side, but she is also not used to the prices in MI. Overall it was a nice non-intimidating experience.

I would highly suggest coming to this store for your needs. The service is quick, and the staff makes sure you walk out with a smile. I’ve never had a problem with any orders or any staff members. I made a visit and the representative, Brianna, was super helpful with updating me on upcoming events and offers. Even if you don’t use flower or eat edibles, going into the store, simply hanging out, will give you a sense of home. They will make sure you will walk out with a memorable experience.

I just wanted to say that LIV Ferndale is amazing! I use their delivery service about 3 times a month and their staff is fast, professional and always on top of safety standards. They always wear their masks, are happy and upbeat when they greet you and never fail to get I.D. check and proper cash amount. Also, they never expect anything in return and are surprised and very humble when they do recieve tips. This is so rare with delivery drivers. Tip them well, tip them big and thank them ...they are worth every penny. Also, the product is great. A big fan of their Josey Wales flower.

When I first arrived I was a little thrown off by the parking but it actually turned out to be really convenient as soon as I got out I realized that there was security and they were taking temperatures being safe and cautious. When I walked in I was blown away by how they were set up and all the staff members. There is an additional security officer right by the door and tons of waiting space if need be. Every time I walked in it was super quick and they were super helpful and really friendly. Prices are real reasonable and the products are very high-quality. No complaints. I go back every week.
