Very nice service here and timely manner for getting your goods and awesome experience when I go. Yes We LIVE In Denver so expect some wait on a Friday evening because it does get busy and so does every other business in the area. It's very professional from what I have experienced  with bud tenders that actually like to help and can give direction on what kind of supplements would work for you better but not giving medical advise as directed. I enjoy my time when I am there and do not feel rushed and can ask questions because not everyone is up to date or are not knowing what benefits you can get with different types of medicine and recreational use. I Would recommend 10/10 for this business and will come back indefinitely. It's a great place that others should follow because they have a working system that makes you feel like a customer not a dollar sign.

Karissa was great. She was able to assist us with all our questions and help us find the right strain. Def recommend coming back!!

Bought an 1/8 and had to trim it myself when I got home, only had 2.5 usable grams. Go to medicine man and get some real weed. This is flat out ridiculous, I will never return and I will be sure to anyone else to never go there.

I was happy when Lightshade opened this location. It was very close to me.  I enjoyed going because everyone was friendly and helpful along with great prices for good product . IT HAS ALL CHANGED!  I am so disappointed.  The prices  raised on product were outrageous!I have been going there for 2 yrs. I am a senior citizen, I need this for pain, I'm on a fixed income so it just won't work...I will miss you but I just can't come back...

My favorite place to go lighter shade has kicked me out after 2-year customer. The girls that work there flirt with you for tips acting like they like you for money. When you ask one of them out they go to their manager and file complaint on you and make written up complaints about you to get you kicked out if they don't like you. This place is a very judgmental place don't be mistaken by a girl flirting with you that she likes you. Now I am banned from every lighter shade I wouldn't give a penny to this place anyways since the guy employees are dating a girl employees that's why I got kicked out because of boyfriend got jealous so they kicked me out so forget this place guys go to someplace else their neighbor right next to him have a good one

I came here looking for a better dispensary than the others that are in this location and found it! We only had to wait about 5-10 minutes and once we met with the bud tenders it was great service from there on out. The bud tenders were very nice and knowledgeable. The prices were bit cheaper for the Pax cartridges than other dispensaries. Loved the ambiance! Everything was very neat, clean and tidy. Great place!

UPDATE: I reached someone through FB messenger who was super nice that said upper management was looking into the way things were handled. After several attempts to get an update after many weeks went by, I got "they are still looking into it" then after that nothing! So it takes a month to look into the fact that your website was wrong and you wouldn't honor the price that was stated on your promo deals? The funny thing is that FB shows you when your message was seen so they are deliberately ignoring me and don't care how rude their employees are. I will never shop there again  and will spread the word about how this company only cares about money and not their actual customers who keep them open. I should've looked at their poor reviews before giving them a cent!Really disappointed with my experience here on May 22nd. I had placed an online order because one of my favorite strains was shown as your ambassador strain and you were running a deal for 20 OTD. I drove 30 minutes, stood in line just to get up to the front and the budtender tells me it $32 something. I told him the website showed the strain to be a part of the deal and that's why I ordered it. He tells me that it's a website error and that it's their house strain but offered to grab his manager so I said yes grab him please. His manager comes out and tells me the same thing so I said "so even though it was an error your part you won't honor what your website says?" He told me no he would not. So I messaged you on FB to see if I could talk to someone about how terrible the customer service was and at first the person I was talking to was very helpful. I was told upper management was "looking into it" Messaged a week later and another excuse. Does it really take almost 3 weeks to look into a website error and talk to your horrible management about how they didn't even try to rectify the situation?? Clearly you have no intention on making things right and support being deceptive about your prices

By far the WORST dispensary location in Colorado, this location has the most difficult staff to work with. I've came here several times and have no issues with my I.D having marks on the back. Today they refused to serve me, so Sheridan location is where I'm going and don't recommend wasting your time at this sorry location. Long lines and horrible staff, not a good mix. NEVER GO HERE!!

Horrible costumer service and does not respect people who are tying to take precaution during covid.

My husband and I have been coming here for about a year now. There are days their selection is great, and other days it's hard to choose because none of them are great. Sometimes you'll see a weed that smells great, barely get a glimpse at what you're buying at the counter, and get home to find out it crumbles in your fingers. There are a few budtenders I really enjoy shopping with, and one I can't handle. I really do not like that when I come to the back and I'm looking at flower, I'm always immediately asked "saliva or indica" before I can even really get much of a word. One time I came in and a male budtender (I don't know his name, but I can describe him) asked me that exact question, I told him that it didn't really matter to me that much, just whatever tasted best, and he asked me the same question yet again as if I were deaf with a cocky attitude. Eventually I just "sativa" just so I could hurry up and leave. At that point he just rung in a strain, didn't tell me which, didn't pull a SINGLE jar out for me to see or smell, handed me my stickers and said "they'll get you at the counter". That was it, no have a good day, nothing. And surprise surprise, what he sold me tasted so terrible that my husband said something, and I had to tell him about this experience. I've worked as a manager in customer service and if I was this guys manager, he would be fired on the spot. If I see him grab my ID again, I will politely ask to be helped by someone else. There is one girl in particular I have always found to be extremely helpful, but I again have no idea what her name is. This was not my most recent experience here, but it is worth management taking note.

Such a friendly staff! And very knowledgeable able their product! Huge plus for me! By far one of the best dispensaries near me!

I love this dispensary. I have tried others that are closer to my house and I always end up coming back to Lightshade Federal Heights. All the employees make sure that you feel welcome. The budtenders are so patient with you and are willing to answer any question you may have about strains, edibles, concentrates, and more! Love this place!! I

This dispensary is one of the most consistent experiences in the Denver area, tucked away all up north in Federal Heights.  In a nice waiting room the comfy seats, good music and reading material will make your short wait seem like nothing at all.  The staff is wonderful and friendly all the time, and the selection is top quality for a larger chain.  Tons of good deals, and a lot of selection of concentrates, edibles and flower are sure to please!  This is a full stop shop, with pipes and other smoking accessories making your trip to Denver a happy one, even late at night!

Light shade is the best dispensary ever!! Our favorite bud tender is KC. This is truly my boyfriend and  I's favorite spot. Prices are great and the staff is amazing

The absolute worst dispensary in Denver hands down . Terrible flower  and the worst staff I have ever dealt with ... do yourself a favor and skip this one ...will never shop here again !

It was really awkward walking in and walking up to the counter without a greeting or anything. Made me feel like I was being a bother or something. I've never been in until today, so walking into the back to see literally like the ten things behind the counter was like really, we waited to come back here for this? ....& the guy who helped us at "5" was not very helpful and was very stand-off ish. After we decided we didn't want anything He threw our I.ds on the counter like if we wasted his time. Oooook never coming back, nothing worth buying in here anyway.

Great deals but the receptionist was rude and you could barely understand her. Then the budtender Matthew was even worse. He was slamming things around snatched the money out of my hand and threw our IDs on the counter. I really don't  think we will be back to this location. I've been before and no problems at all. But this has left a bad taste.in my mouth

I am a senior citizen and I've been shopping at Lightshade for at least a year spending over $100 a week. Service was OK up until tonight. I was treated shabbily by The receptionist and her partner behind the desk. I always place an online order as I did tonight. Informed them that I had placed an online order when I entered and gave them my ID. I sat there for 15 minutes watching people come in after me and go ahead of me. When I questioned this I was told My turn would come soon. After watching several more customers go ahead of me I decided I had enough and left without my order. Unless I hear from their management team I won't be returning.

This store is absolutely horrible. They always have a dozen people working but they are always just standing around while customers are waiting forever. The store has Medical but never has any selection, especially on the Indica side. In addition, the employees never have any idea when they will get more product. I have switched to other places that are more friendly and have a consistent product line available.

Used to be my favorite dispensary. Came here last night with a client from out of town doting on their awesome pricing and selection and was called out for parking in their handicapped parking. My client informed the gentleman that indeed i had a handicap sticker. The dude literally walked outside to check. I wish i could say this is the first instance  of the parking nazi but it's not. It happened about a month ago as well with my boyfriend with me. I don't understand what this dudes deal is but you turned a regular customer to look elsewhere for my needs. I have been coming here regularly for over 6 months at least once a week and also bring friends and clients. My client last night spent over $180. This is not how you keep loyal clients loyal. Get your act together management !!! Oh and my wax was not the consistency shown irs like sand. Super sad.

Not coming back unless every other dispensary in the area shuts down. During our last trip to the dispensary, the receptionist told us to sit down after we checked in. We informed her there was no room to sit, which I guess she wasn't expecting...because she replied with a passive aggressive comment getting us to move away from her desk. I would completely understand if she wanted us to move as we may have been blocking the view between her desk and the door, even though no one was behind us. However, what I didn't appreciate was her tone towards costumers. Shopping at a dispensary should be a pleasant and relaxing experience. As a costumer, you shouldn't be talked down, especially by your first point of contact within the store. This could've been avoided if there were seats to begin with...there weren't, there rarely are. Between checking in, waiting, and completing our purchase...we spent 45 minutes at the dispensary. That's absurd! If you can't keep up with your demand, hire more budtenders or make your process more efficient. 45 minutes to be verbally harassed and pay above average prices for product...NO THANK YOU!

Made an order online and was in and out in under 5 minutes! Their house grown pineapple express was cured perfectly and they have better prices then most dispos

Listen I understand with this pandemic you have to unfortunately wear a mask.I bought a high quality ventilator mask and that's what I wore at this location.When I walked in I was asked to wear a thin layered make over the one I was wearing.  I thought he was kidding soni laughed but he continued to say that management does not allow customers to come in with a ventilator mask.When I realized he wasn't joking I told him HELL no I will just change them out WTF?Interesting enough all the employees had a scarf they were using for a mask but the one I was wearing was a no no.This tells me two things, either the manager is a control freak or not very bright. I have in the past recommend this place to all friends and family now I will make sure they get none of our business and I do happen to know alot of people.Will not come here again!

This store is the worst dispensary around.  Their medical is a joke.  Just checked for my product.  4 edibles in stock.  Really?!  Do you not know how to order?  I drive 60 blocks south of lightshade to a place that is ALWAYS in stock.  Never going here again.  Don't waste your time.

Neat place, friendly people, but everything is kind of hidden out of sight. At least at other places the merchandise is kind of on display and you can see a glimpse of what you're buying. Here, everything is on a screen and you kind of have to ask for the stuff your looking for. Friendly employees but I just hate having to look at a screen to see what I want to buy.

Have been a longtime customer.  Have slowly watched this company cater to themselves rather than the customer.  Prices on lightshade brand flower have gone up 75 percent over the last couple years.  The quality of the lightshade flower however has gone down just as equally.  Such inconsistencies in product quality lead me to believe this is why lightshade has to carry inventory from other separate dispensaries.  The only thing that is consistent is the 5-6 permanent strains always on hand that seem to never sell out.   Just on 1/6/21 at the federal heights location I had purchased an eighth of Flo flower that was of the lightshade brand.  $33 out the door.  After getting home and opening the bottle I could smell chlorophyll right away and the bud felt soft and uncured.  After struggling to break up a bowl and pack it...the taste was non existent.  This is maybe the 3rd or 4th time I've gotten bad lightshade brand flower.  I called the store and told them the problem and was instructed to bring In the bud to exchange.  10 minutes later and having to wait outside in the cold for 15 minutes I was brought back to exchange the bud.  After making the selection the budtender had to go get further approval.  It turns out...lightshade flags you for returning their weed.  I was told that next time I would have to call ahead (which I did...) so that any future bud returns have to be "approved by corporate" first.   Well guess what?  The durban poison(batch PeD112720 DP-7882) was nearly just as terrible.  The buds are barely cured, barely trimmed, and had even found a seed when cleaning up the buds.Either lightshade has consistently bad flower or the federal heights location is the company whipping boy who gets the crappy batches of weed as I only have gotten bad flower from the federal heights location.    Maybe they think the nearby mobile home community nearby that supports this location won't mind bottom shelf bud?  The fact that after X amount of returns the process to exchange bad bud becomes even more difficult for the customer is just plain ludicrous.  That fact that you have to return so much bad weed to begin with is really what's ludicrous.  WHERE IS THE QUALITY CONTROL!?If the only good flower comes from different dispensaries just down the road...why shouldn't I just go to these other dispensaries?  The best bud I've bought from Lightshade was any strain of Kind Love- who apparently has their own storefront!  Sad to see Lightshade has morphed into a Green Solution clone.   I had switched from Green solution to lightshade over bud quality.   Looks like that time to move on has come again.

Cool friendly atmosphere! They help you decide what you want, gummies are amazing and taste the best I've ever tasted! Prices are good too!

This place was great. Super efficient operation. The staff were very knowledgeable and helpful. The products were fantastic. I would certainly recommend!

LOVE these guys! Everyone is friendly and knowledgeable. Online orders and curbside pick up are fabulous! Fantastic prices on medical flower and edibles!

Went to star buds after reading their great reviews, was looking for a deal for 2 pen cartridges and they wanted over $100+. Was disappointed after reading all the reviews because they are extremely overpriced and not very welcoming! Lightshade has a more comfortable/welcoming greeting- parking is waay better- and the staff acknowledged me/answered any and all questions I had. They also had a bigger variety of choices and the guy helping me gave me many different options to help fit my needs. (plus he was cute) ?? I can honestly say that was probably the best customer service I’ve had in years. I never write reviews but they definitely deserve the credit! Highly recommended !
