Citiva is a amazing medical marijuana dispensary that cares about their patients and their needs. Staff like Colleen go out of their way to greet each patient and each of the wonderful staff take the time to help the patient find the right medication for their pain. That is why I keep coming back here. I am never rushed out the door after buying my product and they always ask me how I am doing when I return. They all go above and beyond for me, they always take the time to break down why they think a particular product will help my chronic pain. Obviously I can't recommend them enough and anyone who lives in the area should choose Citiva as their first medical marijuana dispensary to go to.
I absolutely adored the customer service that I received when I stopped in this dispensary. I don't live near by and only stopped in on my way somewhere else, but they still treated me as though I was a preferred and appreciated customer. I loved the security of the facility and the friendliness of the first rep I encountered. I was then greeted by another rep who walked with me and explained the different products they had. One thing that stood out to me, in a negative way, was that they had an abundance of CBD For Life products, a brand that does not even list the mg of CBD in their products, something that is very sketchy. But they assured me they would follow up with the company to find out why that is. I can't say that I will visit this particular location any time in the near future as I do not live nearby, but whenever I am in the vicinity I will be sure to stop in.
This place is great! Very nice selection and on top of it all, get ready for this........ The staff actually cares!! They take care of you one on one and answer any questions you could possibly have. They dont rush you or push product on you like other places do. To top it off, their prices are the best around! 10 stars if I could!!! Thank you guys for everything!!!
This place is the best dispensary around. This place is basically a secret right now, but as the laws change, it is set up to become one of the hottest spots around.
Their cartridges are faulty. I've had one replaced, due to it no longer proving me with oil (even after changing the setting to blue then red), and within 2 weeks the same one that they replaced is no longer working properly. Usually, green is the perfect level for me. I would take a few small puffs and that would be more than enough. Sometimes too much. Once the cartridge begins to deteriorate I would have to take a huge inhale for 10-15 seconds on the red setting. It's redundant and irresponsible to sell product like that. A customer shouldn't have to repeatedly go to the store for a replacement. By the way, this was my first time making a purchase at a dispensary. The experience was great and the ppl are knowledgeable. I enjoy using the vape and would not want to go for another replacement only for them to try to persuade me to purchase a completely different item. We'll see when I return to the store
I was very disappointed in Citiva. The prices were ridiculously expensive, the price sheet did not match the price when they rang up my purchase and they could not tell me if the capsules I wanted were Sativa, Indica, or hybrid (because the manufacturer doesn't tell them). How can you properly recommend a product if you don't even know what's in it? I will not be going back here, which is unfortunate. Brooklyn really needs a good dispensary.
Staff was helpful but ultimately this is not what NYC wants or needs. I think of all the people in this city who could really be helped by medical marijuana and not just placebo pills made from CBD and THC. The pills are useful if you want to relax without smoking or vaping.
The WORSTusually I go to curaleafBut as this place is new I thought I would try it out..I realize its Friday afternoon and every one would ike to cut out for the weekend..But that is no excuse for very poor customer service skillsWhat the receptionist knows about customer service you could put on the back of a postage Stamp. There where only 2 people waiting for serviceWhich was including me.While I was patiently waiting my turn the receptionist let someone who came in after me go ahead of me..usually this would not of been a big deal..but as I had been there 20 minutes and each new client takes at least 15 to be serviced..it would of been time consumingWhen I got up from the chair I put one hand on one low hanging self..to steady myself as I am disabled...the shelf was not secured and came off the wall ..spilling all the contents off the shelf. They acted like it was my fault..I was ready to spend a few hundred $ there..Glad I walked out..Must be horrible to need product so bad you will put up with horrible service.Incidentally Whoopi Goldberg's tictures areIncredible if you know someone in Calif. To get you some it's worth it...But there are no standards regarding purityAnd quality of product and several medical studies have concluded that there is very little real benefit..And these dispensaries are just another way of Taxation. If you like long wait times and bad customer service this is the place for you..But the good news very soon AMAZON & WHOLE FOODS will be selling standardized high quality Marijuana products..these "dispensaries " will quickly go broke...
I've been there 3x so far. Love the staff, very helpful. The products are great and the store is beautiful. I'm just waiting for them to start delivering!
This place used to great. Let me just say, I only kept going here for the staff, they are incredible! Unfortunately, the last few months have been a total mess here and solely the fault of management/ownership. They clearly used the pandemic to unnecessarily lay off staff, they are only open two days a week now and you have to pick up by 4pm (almost all other dispensaries here in NYC are open nearly the whole week). If you have a job, this place literally makes it impossible to get your medicine. Seems to me the real reason they drastically cut hours and fired workers is because they regularly don't have enough inventory. Ownership probably realized that staying open 7 days a week when you are regularly sold out of products is a problem. Just not the right way to treat customers. Your business was deemed essential, this place should act like it. Take your business to any of the dispensaries in the city that are currently open full time with a full line of products available. Sad what happened to this place, hope ownership starts to care.
Product selection not best (especially compared to Vireo on Queens Blvd) and customer service is non existent.
I've has nothing but positive experiences at Citiva. The people are friendly and most are also knowledgeable about the products. I only use the oil and have strived several 'brands'. I've done MedMen (often out of product and pricey) and also Etain (women owned-Yay!...but also slow to serve). Once I found out that Citiva offers NYC DOE employees a 20% discount I knew I'd found my Go2 for MM.
Cj helped me- he explained everything very clearly, concisely and professionally. I was highly impressed with his overall service, patience and the fact he was actually listening to me.Also, The female that took care of me at the front desk was so damn attractive it almost hurt. The price points per mg are significantly more affordable than the manhattan dispensaries. Dont let the marketing of Medmen, Columbia care and some of the others fool you.5/5. Great experience. Will recommend.
This shop is convenient to lots of public transportation. Workers are nice. Products are the same regulated NY state stuff as other dispensaries. BUT there's no privacy for discussion, consultation, or purchase. Everything is so out in the open, you can't avoid hearing everyone's business. Not so comfortable with that
This is not a very efficiently run and there is a lack of professionalism among some of the staff. That wouldn't bother me if the system worked. It takes way too long if you arent the only customer there. You check in, sometimes they take you to the back to order, sometimes you order at the front counter. Sometimes they call your name, somtimes they just call out what you ordered. I've also tryed delivery where they messed up the time, location, and sent 2 wrong items. Plus no privacy at all. A bit more organization and attention is needed!
I don't even know where to start. From the first second of my first visit to Citiva Brooklyn, everything has been top notch. Everyone from front to back staff is super friendly, informative, and patient. They're all very understanding and I can't express how much I appreciate them. I've been there 3 times since and the experience gets better every time. I've never needed to spend more than 10 minutes there because everyone is extremely proficient and happy to help. I'm a loyal customer for sure. If I could give more stars I would!
This was my second visit. Granted it was during this corona panic but that's kind of what makes me want to write this bc I was pretty disgusted with how one employee treated me.The woman at the front who signed me in and then brought me into the back, helped me choose my items was wonderful, kind and helpful. When it was time to check out, she went into the back to notify the other staff member who was supposed to ring me up. She told me it would be a few minutes and to just wait. She then went back to the outer office bc another customer came in.As I was waiting, a male employee came in from the outside. He was so disgustingly rude. He told me I had to go back and wait in the front- as if I just left myself in. I tried to tell him she told me to wait in here, he just scoffed and told me to go to the front bc no one would be in there. You have to be buzzed out so when I went to go to the front the woman didn't buzz me and out and said I was fine where I was. At a time like this the stark contrast between the staff members was alarming. I was still spending money, still a patient in need. This guy was a total asshole, his vibe was gross and I hope I never have to share space with him again. I think he's in the wrong line of work.EDIT: I don't really hear an apology here. What I'm hearing is a justification. This isn't about policies. I don't see how the new policies are going to ensure this won't happen again. Warmest regards, Karen.
The vape carts ("Matter" is the brand name) don't work well at all. Almost impossible to get a good pull and proper dosage of medicine. You end up spending all your energy sucking on the pen only to get nothing in return. I literally go blue in the face trying to actually get vapor to go through the pen. It's not my device/battery either, I've tried three different batteries, even the one's they sell in store...nothing helps. Weak, under-performing product which is also completely overpriced. They need a new oil cart source. These are just a rip off. I hate to say it, but MedMen in the city, though just as big a rip off, carries pens that actually deliver the medicine. So, I'll be hoofing it up there now instead of Citiva, which I can walk to. What a shame.Update: I will not "be hoofing it up there (medmen) instead of Citiva" because they are just as big a rip off and sell pens that don't always work and are far less full than you are led to believe. Such a racket here in NY.
They are excellent! The employees are super friendly (CJ, David) helpful and knowledgeable! Their marijuana cartridges are a 1/2 gram, which will last for at least four days (which is great). They truly care about your health, not just taking your money! Not only that...their products are great and economically priced and because I am military, I get an every visit 20% discount (about $52.00) not like Columbia Care...who only gave me a one-time new customer discount!Speaking of Columbia Care...they are so expensive that it is ridiculous! Their product is $79.00 for 1/4 of a gram. That roughly lasts you about 1 day. You will become addicted to this product and then go broke trying to medicate yourself on Columbia Care's expensive products! I have never ending chronic nerve damage pain that needs soothing semi-frequently, what normal everyday working person can afford $75.00 a day for medicine? That's $575.00 a week versus Citivia's 104.00 per week!Citivia is the better choice!
Miss this place! Had to move out of NyC due to all that was happening, but these guys were my neighborhood dispensary and I really miss it. Great products, people, and overall experience
I hate hate hate when places close before their posted/advertised hours!!!! Google said it was open until 6, and their own voice mail greeting said 7 pm?!?! I got there at 5 of 6, and the girl motioned that they were closed. Regardless of which set of hours was correct, I was still there before 6!! Annoying. Otherwise the shop is very nice, and staff is super/friendly, professional & knowledgeable. Oh cash only is aggravating too... no debit or credit cards, but that's a NYS thing, I believe ~ not their choice. My vape cartridges last me a week usually, so I usually hit them up 1x/week. Keep in mind this is a medical dispensary and u must have a NYS state issued med mj card/and prescrito shop here
Inflated prices, does NOT accept debit cards, ATM on property does NOT work. Will NOT tell you where the closet ATM is and when you walk back with cash they have this lovely tip jar. Now ask yourself, when was the last time your pharmacist asked you for a tip? Shadiest dispensary within a five state radius.
Don't understand how institutions like this remain open, unorthodox business hours and the website is laughable at best. Glad I never made it into that store, Grow your own people, this is in NO WAY SHAPE OR FORM A CALIFORNIA DISPENCERY. More bootleg If your familiar with Dr.GreenThumb who may sue you. Id rename that bootleg Insane brand. Lawsuit waiting to happen considering Dr. Greenthumb (B-Real of Cypress Hills) will be planting their flag in BROOKLYN
I had a wonderful first experience at Be. Brooklyn when I stopped by this morning on Black Friday shortly after they opened for the day. Definitely take advantage of the 35% off before 2 pm and 25% off the rest of the weekend.I Was driving a thanksgiving guest home to Brooklyn and felt a migraine coming so stopped by Be. to grab some medicine before heading back to Manhattan. Be. is a healing sanctuary from the second you step through the door. I felt very welcomed and felt that any question would be answered with kindness. In addition to the generous black friday discount of 35% They have a healthcare /frontline worker discount of 10% and a new patient discount of 25% which they let me save for next visit so I could get the higher thanksgiving discount today. GENEROUS W DISCOUNTS I really appreciated the kind staff and customer service was expedient and patient. I placed my order online- it was ready in 5 minutes and there was no issue when I decided to add more in the store. + Be. Brooklyn carries whole flower and ground flower in addition to tinctures edibles and topicals. They also have topical CBD products. I appreciate the fact that they carry products from multiple brand so you always have a choice. The JH1 blue Matter cartridge I purchased took my migraine away immediately, though do note that everyone's migraines are different and what works for me may not work for you.All in all I ended up stocking up due to the generous discount and purchased: 3 x 0.5 mg cartridges3.5 g of whole flower 1 c cell batteryThey threw in a free tumbler. My total was $203 which is more affordable than any other dispensary in the area. They take Cannpay, digital debit, debit cards, cash AND have an ATM on siteLastly, loved the ambiance and decor. Everyone is welcome, BIPOC and LGBTQ+ friendly space, plenty of seating, everyone was wearing a mask and the most adorable well cared for succulents and cacti in every nook. Love love love Be. And will be back, just wish you were in Manhattan as wel!
This restaurant used to be a lot better! The portions they serve have decreased tremendously but their prices have increased tremendously too! Not a good value at all! Their sushi is just ok but not worth the prices they charge! This restaurant has deteriorated quite a bit unfortunately! They used to serve hot towels when they seated you before the meal and they stopped doing that as well!
I love coming to this place . The staff is always so welcoming and polite . I have nothing but go experiences, whenever I ever have a question there are always there to be helpful . Out of the dispensaries I have used over the year this store has be become my go to because of their prices and customer service. The story is also very modern and clean .They often have sell for customers which is really nice . One thing, I don’t love the new store hours . I will have prefer if they kept the original opening times, but I will still continue to come here . If you looking for a dispensary that thrives in empathy and customer service you found the right place at Citiva Brooklyn.
The staff is knowledgeable, helpful and follow thw Covid protocals to the letter. They are also responsive to inquiries. I am recovering from a bad neck injury and they were helpful in dialing in products that have been of tremendous help in dealing with the pain.
Hate to write this, I’ve been coming here for two years and have spent plenty of money here. Staff is great, my complaint is with management/ownership. They are only open two days a week for a few hours (every other dispensary in the city is open 6-7 days a week). They have misleading specials to encourage you to buy in bulk and then restrict you from buying more medicine when you’re in pain. They will not adjust 30 day supplies for an individual patient (despite the law and every other dispensary doing that). They are clearly only remaining open in the hopes that marijuana is fully legalized in NY, but in the meantime they are really doing a disservice to their patients. Will be following up with Department of Health about this company’s recent business practices and compliance with New York’s medical marijuana laws. Please avoid and go elsewhere.
Awesome amount of variety compared to alot of other dispensaries in Bk, NY. I spent alottt of money my first time their. Just because I was excited about the possibility of the help for my body both physically and emotionally. The staff was amazing. I found everyone to be super helpful and knowledgeable! I highly suggest. The store will be 3 times bigger in a few months. Thats pretty exciting!
I wish it were open more than 2 days a week... The people there are very pleasant, and Adam has been especially helpful.

Be. Brooklyn is your community resource for medical cannabis, CBD and education. We have pharmacists on-site whenever we are open to work through each patient's symptoms and treatment plans. We offer discounts for first time patients, Veterans and those receiving financial assistance through state programs. You must have a valid medical cannabis card to purchase cannabis products at Citiva, but anyone can come talk to our staff to ask questions about cannabis and purchase our hemp-derived CBD products.
