I've only been here once randomly for some edibles, they were expensive (duh) but good! I got some grape hard candies, if I eat one I feel nothing, if I eat two I am going to eat everything in sight. Its a battle I have yet to win. Super friendly staff and a decent system overall

Well, I didn't actually go in here myself but my friend brought me some meds from here. And all I can say is THANK YOU. I told my friend i have been looking for high CBD strains and the 2 he brought me are absolutely beautiful and do the trick. He said the people here were very friendly and helpful when he told them what he was looking for. Next time I'm up north I will definitely come check you guys out myself and then I'll be able to give an honest 5 star. Until then, thank you!

I love this store, everything you want and more. The staff are not only cool to talk with, but extremely knowledgeable and can help guide you in the right area or recommend what you want or need if you tell them what you want even if it's your first time in your first time! Your going be welcomed, well taken care of, and prices are cheaper than others with great deals when you sign up for text notifications.LOVE this place!!!

Been to this place many times. Great prices, helpful staff, and open 365 days a year from 8am to midnight. Highly recommend this place to anyone in the area, best deals in town

I was asked a price point. I said I want a fresh pre-roll and that I didn't care about the price. I was recommended and purchased a pre-roll from Lilac City Gardens. When I got home the pre-roll seemed to be made of powder. I looked at the date and it was 8.5 months old. Will not go back to Herbal Nation. A Greener Today is right across the street, please visit them for real customer service.

Bought a half oz of funky monkey by NWCS due to it being highly recommended and delicious according to the budtender. 99% sure she never tried it and lied to me. Got home, smoked some, got really nauseated and vomited. It smells and tastes like chemicals. Thanks to you budtender I just wasted $76 and got really sick. Unless I get a refund, I'll never go back to you guys

*****TO THE OWNER***** Spent good money at your joint for quite some time now. Only stop by when the underground dries up. "RARE", But it happens.I have given ya all a bunch of my hard earned money throughout the years, and usually receive only a "below average" product ..Sigh. It is what it is. Whatever. Oh well, My bad. It was my choice to stop by. Nobody forced me.Anyways, Im not belly aching over THAT. Its something entirely different, and I had to let YOU know whats up. I tell it like it is.Soooo, After I got home tonight, I had to sit down, and write ya' about one of your employee's erratic behavior. First time I've posted on Yelp, So, Yah,.. Its a BIG deal. Didnt know how to contact you, so I thought this post was the appropriate thing to do. Might save someone a headache.Tonight I walked out of your business with my lady friend, and we get this extremely rude/mean and arrogant look from one of your female employees(Obese, and kinda tall) who was letting people into your establishment from the outside of the entrance door. I didnt give her any dirty looks, or problems whatsoever after I walked out, and there she was "Mean mugging" me, and my girl like she wanted to start something for no damn reason.  Intimidating people so she feels important? Is this proper??? .. You decide. Well, I dont take that BS from anyone. Yup, Stared me up and down, plain as day. Also, People in the line outside, noticed her actions as well. I think she has a complex, and needed to show others she has testosterone flowing in her blood, Instead of estrogen. I know,.. Makes no sense. She glared at me like I was her biggest enemy, or something..  Whats that all about? Might wanna ask her. I didnt do a damn thing wrong to her. I Mind my own business. Ruined my good mood, and wrecked my night. Btw, This happened tonight.. (Around 5:00 PM. May 4th 2020). She dont know Jack about me/us. I dont deserve the unfriendly attitude. The "Queen bee" making minimum wage. Does she think she runs the show too? Bet she does.  Puhlease. Give me a break. Look, Im not a lowlife loser, or a punk. Im really a nice guy, until someone steps on my toes. Actually, We're both very friendly, and chatty. I will not allow anyone to treat me, or my friend that way.Anyways, Your employees should treat all customers with respect. And most do.  Also, When I stop by, I usually purchase a large amount. Not someone you would wanna lose as a customer. I spend that cheese brah. Believe that.Your "bad seed" of an employee made BOTH of us feel weird, and very uncomfortable, and that employee ruined my night. Bottom line, She wasnt professional at all. Very Awkward, and strange.There are MANY other dispensaries to choose from. Why should anyone be treated like this? Im an honest "paying customer" with manners, who treats everyone the same way that I like to be treated TIP:  Being nice pays off. Being an a-hole will only leave ya broke. Reputation is EVERYTHING. Ask any successful businessman or woman, they'll tell ya the same. You need to clean shop. Btw, Iam always friendly and polite to all of your staff. Maybe the disrespectful employee is simply jealous, since we showed up in a high end car. I just dont know. Overall, Bad business skills, and horrible customer relations...  You know what I'm saying?It was simply unbelievable, and mean, to say the least. You need to be aware of how your business is being run. She has some serious psychological problems. Male hormones?? Something isnt quite right upstairs. Overall, I'm baffled by her actions. Best advice I can give you, Get rid of her. She will only make enemies, and your store's reputation will be affected.I promise you this Sir or Madam, I wont be back, and I'll be telling my people whats up. I tell the truth. Not into revenge, or retaliation. She needs a serious reality check. Time to make a change my brother, or sister. She's making your place look BAD. Your yelp feedback isn't the best either. 3 STARS? That low rating should be telling you something isnt running in harmony around there. Wake up, and smell the coffee, and do something about it!Most people will overlook your "so so" products... But, a good majority of your customers will vanish when it comes to a hostile employee who treats their customers like crap. Might wanna keep an eye on your staff, and straighten things out. Lost my biz, and lots of others will be passing up your shop, as well.One bad apple ruins it for everyone!... Seen many dispensaries go "down hill" and fast, because of problems like this one. Ive already heard alot of smack from my people about the way your biz operates. No positives.. Getting worse. Its not only me. Theres alot of people who I hang with that refuses to go there. Me and my friend love herbal nation! We mostly buy edibles and pre-rolls there, we're so happy that it stays open so late, the people that work there are so nice and not condescending what's so ever, you never get that rude vibe you get from other dispensaries. You tell them exactly what you're looking for and they give you so many options, thank you guys so much

DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY ON THE EDIBLES HERE!!!!I'm a VERY recreational user, in the last 6 months I've only smoked twice and even then I'm a 2-3 puffs and I'm done kind of person.  2-3 inhales and I'm a giggly, happy person.  I was all excited for Herbal Nation to get their edibles in, I actually drove out to get some the day they announced on Facebook they had them in (10-4-14).  The edibles are stupid expensive, about $60 a package with tax which allegedly contains 10mg of THC.  I bought 4 packages thinking, "This will last awhile".  So I go home with my cookies (2 packages), "buzzcotti", and caramels.  I get home and eat a package of cookies and sit back and wait for the fun to start.  And then nothing... an hour passes... STILL NOTHING.  Not even a slight little buzz, absolutely no high.  So I eat a second bag of treats (Buzzcotti) and wait.  NOTHING!  Absolutely F-ing NOTHING.  These "edibles" taste like shit and will do NOTHING to get you high.  Waste of money!  The edibles smell and taste of pot but have absolutely zero THC in them.  I'm pissed to have wasted over $200 on allegedly pot treats that taste like shit and are disgusting and don't do a damn thing to get you even slightly high.  My friend ate the other two bags and had the same reaction... NOTHING.  No high, no buzz, no fun... NOTHING.  I'm an average sized female, I hardly ever smoke up... those treats should have had me wasted.  They are BULLSHIT.  Do not waste your money!!!Next time I'm just making my brownies.  I looked up how to make my own treats and it seriously looks easy to infuse your own oil for baking.  SHAME ON YOU, HERBAL NATION!  You should know what you are selling and if it's good or not!

Way too expensive. They actually remove one juju joint out of the two pack to rip you off even more. On top of that they want a tip and charge you an ATM fee to use a debit card. Remember this owner because I'm sure they will be opening a new place with a new name once this place goes out of business.

It's a testament to how much I like this place that I go to it even though it is out of the way from everything else in my life. Great prices, great selection and even better staff.

I'd choose Herbal Nation every time over any other dispensary. The deals & prices are completely unmatched, & the staff is amazing. & Cameron's the best budtender!  10/10 if there were more than just 5 stars.

My husband and I have been going here for a couple years which in itself tells you what we think about Herbal Nation and its awesome staff but add this....  There are two other pot shops in the same block as Herbal Nation and we drive by them all the time.  Neither is ever busy; Herbal Nation always is.  Go to Herbal Nation.  The rest of us do.

They have this new thing going on where when you pay, and they give you your change, they steal a dollar and put it into the tip jar themselves! This happened to me for the first time recently. I was amused by the audacity. I had been coming to this place for a couple years. Hey management, for a dollar, you lost a customer forever.However, if I go around, and see that EVERY place does this, then I'll retract my bad rating and correct myself for not understanding the new norm of people tipping themselves with your money. Maybe I'm old fashioned, and I shouldn't care if I lose a dollar here and there to someone just ... taking it. Until I have evidence to believe otherwise, I'm calling it a bunch of bologna. One Star.

Best prices out of all the shops in the area and great customer service. This is the only shop I'll go to.

Every time I've come here they've been beyond patient and helpful with me, with all my questions/concerns. Their pricing is totally reasonable and even when they're busy they still take time with each person which I really appreciate. I am excited to see where this shop goes and hopefully it can expand in the future! :)

Good location- easy to find, well lit, easy to park. The folks working inside are quick, but still provide great service and lots of good information about the huge menu of products. I think the prices are very fair, and there's plenty of variety. Recommended.

This was my first time here and I was pleasantly surprised. The staff was very helpful and well informed. Yes, they only have one strain available at this time, Blue Dream but it's highly rated on Leafly so you won't be disappointed. Each of the baggies is labeled with information such as THC content, strain, when it was packaged etc. The prices are what would be expected at this early part of sales, about $60.00 for two grams which isn't too far off street price but as business continues prices will fall. It might be easy to miss from the road so make sure you keep an eye out for the two green vertical flags on the sidewalk on the left side if you're coming from the south or on the right side if you're coming from the north.

Great product. The staff was extremely informative and helpful. Prices are a little high *pun intended*! But for real, prices are way too expensive. Alternatives are much cheaper and the goal is to end those alternatives.

First of all, Herbal Nation sells the 150 puff/pull Sativa E-joints with pre-filled cannabis oil made from their Hybrid Blue Dream strain. The e-joint itself is a all black sleek version identical to any other e-cigarette out on the market. All you have to do is take a pull from it and it activates with a orange light on the end. It lets you take in a nice smooth pull that is delicious.  It is so convenient, easy and clean to use that I will never want to grind up some dry buds and smoke it out of a pipe again. I haven't found this at any other shops. Herbal Nation is the second opened recreational shop in the area. They didn't have much selection outside of Indica or the Sativa version of maybe two different strains. However, quality is there and the prices are decent and that's what matters. I know you can buy weed way cheaper off the street however it's not regulated and I want pure natural green. I graduated from smoking buds and just do pure cannabis oil now because it's a better high. The staff is awesome as well. Check out the map on the wall to the right of the entrance when you walk in.  Everyone who visits puts their name and HQ on that map and its fun to see people come from all over the country to be a customer of Herbal Nation. In the Maryland/DC area, you will find Ryan Celsius and LadyHomicide (that's me!).

Today was a novel one; for me, (and the nation I hope some day) to be able to walk in and legally buy MJ in Washington. The other reviewers put into perspective very well what the business is up against. Taxed three ways from Sunday will make the price difficult to compete w the black market for quite a while. If I was an often smoker, I'd still look at a med-card because there was only one kind of pot available today, no need for smelling jars. Again -for the novelty -I bought one gram for $30+ dollars. Wow. That said, a nice bottle of wine for friends coming over for dinner somehow equates to a good time also, but until there is selection, consistency, and a fair market, it is really impossible to rate one of the few stores selling, anything.I wish Herb Nation good luck and perseverance. I had a nice talk w one of the owners who explained (probably for umpteenth time that day), how it is going, and honestly how difficult these nascent days will be. Hopefully 6months, to a year things will normalize to a level as buying one's choice tomatoes at the market. Unfortunate the State Liquor Board was handed the task to implement regulation of selling pot -the State has not been up to the task, nor -maybe- truly unenthusiastic to offer controlling sales of a competing product in the larger sense.3 stars is not bad, for I will be back to see how this whole legal-pot thing progresses, and look forward to being impressed by HN by the spirit I saw today.Edit: another star given for the attention and further info imparted by some nice employees when I returned a few days later. They are enthusiastic and committed to help make history -tho given an already bumpy road that they aren't in control of. The hours are excellent !!!

A lot of reviewers here seem to think Herbal Nation's prices are out of line. But the margins are very thin after taxes. I'm not a shill, I just don't see the point of bashing this shop when their prices are completely in line with other recreational shops.

Over priced, uneducated and ignorant staff. They constantly say they have product they don't have then try to sell you something of lesser quality for more money and make you feel stupid for asking for something out of stock. Many other options for cannabis around. Don't waste your time because of convenience.

This place had really Low prices, helpful staff, huge variety of products for a single establishment.  Good discount days and it was easy to find.  They know the products and will help you when you have questions it was awesome.

Forgot to get change, went back and they refused to give me change even after "reviewing security footage" that somehow only took less than two minutes to check in the back where nobody can see. Plenty of better stores in the area. very dishonest.

Low end product (I'm sure they buy cheap), priced high, uneducated budtenders!!!! They definitely cater to the younger lower budget garbage weed crowd - biggest bag for cheap. The only reason they get one star is that they are open late otherwise drive up the road a bit to ANY other place and receive better service and product. I would definitely not recommend anyone new to cannabis to this place for sure!

prices are simply too high.$840 an once is simply theft,   even the worse deal on the street, is 3  times cheaper.And please don't be fooled by the "quality" story,  comparing like for like Herbal Nation is charging huge money for reasonable quality weed.The reason they have weed to sell is that the prices are so insanely high anyone who knows anyone is choosing to  "Just say No"  to ultra high price gouging.Just remember Herbal Nation,  when the price gouging is broken and the market normalizes smokers will not forget which stores charged $840 an oz, and which one did not. oh, and the reason the staff are happy is they cant believe how much money they are making by selling weed for $30 a gram...   pure freshly mined gold is  about $40 gram....... so if you want to buy a little smoke for close to the price of real gold, then go ahead. Me I would rather buy in a store where don't just rip me off and blame the supply chain.

Highway robbery. Only one variety. The product was decent quality but at 3-4 times the price that I found at Sea Change near Port Townsend. Do not patronize a business that gouges so much. Sleazy!

Too expensive.................. Even the pipes and lighters are marked up incredibly. Don't waste your time or money. Unless you enjoy being RIPPED OFF.

Staff seemed nice enough. No selection. Ridiculous prices! 30 bucks for a gram of Blue Dream!  Walked right out without buying anything. Retail marijuana in Washington  is a joke and will ultimately fail if they can't compete with the black market.. Save your money and buy it from the teenager down the street.

I have nothing but a great experience here. Never waited long, staff is great, products that I've tried are good too.  I see 1st time buyers, getting the information they need for their own care. I have recommended this business, and I will here also.             Sharon - Denver

My wife and I have been coming here since their very first day, and will be coming here forever!! They have an amazing selection of concentrates, edibles and of course flower. I personally partake the dabs, and have driven all across the state buying oil. Herbal Nation has  selection and prices that let's me stay home and enjoy myself ,rather than driving to the ghetto just to save a buck.

REALLY great customer service!  I had an issue with an ejoint I bought.  Brought it back and was given a replacement with no hassle.  The owner was very helpful and professional.  Product is great if a little expensive [taxes, not their choice].  I will be going back.

Dont bother calling because you're taking up their time. I've called twice and both times the guy, who I couldn't get a name, said he had to go and just wanted me to cone in. I don't wanna go in for something u don't have that's why im calling and I have questions but this guy doesn't wanna answer them may be they are busy but there should be more staff there.

I get that you get to buy weed which is really cool and all that. The employees seem friendly enough. However this place was all around disappointing. I was real excited to legally buy some weed and then they charge you over $80 for 2 grams. 2 grams!!! I'd way rather deal with these dudes in a well lit public location but looks like it's back to the street corner for me. I couldn't even get a receipt to keep as a keepsake. Just all around genuinely bummed and I won't be returning.

I've been a customer here since 2016 and I've probably been to over 100 weed shops in WA alone.. Herbal is definitely my top choice. Fire Bud/Wax/Edibles Friendly Establishment Good DealsThe only knock I have is that sometimes it gets really crowded (business is booming) (tight space) and they can get extremely slow.. I'm talking like 30 minute wait times for what should be and in and out experience, that can get annoying..but you'll learn the best times to go the more often you visit.

I have not been to many dispensaries being from Chicago, but this one is great. Each time I have been here the service is bomb. Everyone is so nice and willing to answer any questions you have. ALSO, everything is so so cheap.

A bit of background info before I write my review:I have been coming here since they opened! They are open 365 days a year which is really convenient! In the beginning, the employees were horribly unfriendly, rude, & just generally unhelpful. They got a lot better about a year later.I stopped by last night (July 4th) to grab a couple last minute joints, as I needed some relief before bed (I use medicinally, but don't have my med card, as I do not want the government up in my business, etc)I looked over the menu & found one of my favorite strains on there, Acupulco Gold, so of course I had to get it. The lady (mid thirties, perhaps early fourties, with a platinum blond pixie cut) pulled the box out, & I immediately said "Oh man, I HATE that brand! Because they put their joints in cardboard boxes, their joints are always super stale!" I thought about it for a second, & decided to get it anyways, cause AG seems to be hard to find around here. I asked for Dirty Girl by SPP, & then I had to go use the ATM cause I forgot to grab cash.My husband stayed by the counter & they were casually chatting while I grabbed cash. I paid, tipped (regretting that massively!) she asked if I wanted a bag/receipt, I said yes to both, & off we went.About an hour & a half later, my husband & I are getting ready for bed, & I'm pulling the joints out of the bag, so I can medicate & relax for a bit before passing out... & I realize the joint I got, is not in fact Acupulco Gold, but is Trainwrek instead. I called Herbal Nation & told them what happened (the lady who helped me is the one who answered the phone, I can tell by the different way she talks, her voice etc) & she tells me to hang on, she has to get her manager.(It's now 11:25 pm btw) The manager comes on the phone & tells me they can't do anything because of the state liquor/cannabis laws, but she could make an exception this one time if I can come in before midnight... (My husband was actually in the shower, & then he was going to go to bed, as he has work the next day/today & it was already late, & I don't drive) I told her, no I really can't come back in, & she apologizes again, THENNNN, she actually has the audacity to tell me that next time, I SHOULD CHECK MY PRODUCTS AND RECEIPT BEFORE LEAVING THE STORE NEXT TIME TO PREVENT THIS.I. Was. Fricking. LIVID.It's not MY job, to do your employee's job. That's what THEY get paid for. I shouldn't have to double check anything.My husband told me while he had been chatting with her while I went to the ATMc that she had been screwing around with the joints & taking things out & putting them back into the case/under the counter etc.I honestly don't care. I'm not going to do someone's else job because they're inept. That's literally not MY job.I won't be going back, unless it's absolutely necessary (as in, I have some sort of medical emergency & magically run out of all THC/CBD & don't have any of my other medications left for my medical conditions) But, I'm going to work extra hard to make sure I hopefully never have to go back.Crap customer service.If you want a great experience, with employees who actually know how to do their jobs, I suggest you check out A Greener Today across the street. I've been going there since they opened as well, & every experience I've had has been amazing, & they always check their stuff before handing it over.

This is by far the best dispensary I've ever been to. Sarah was very knowledgeable and was so down to earth. She helped me with every question I had and recommended great products to me that she has personally tried herself. I'm disappointed that this place doesn't better reviews because they're awesome. They also run weekly deals to sale customers money.

Very impressed with this place. Usually dispensaries make me feel uncomfortable due to bright lights and staff that don't give you a single second to look without trying to sell you something. The staff here give you plenty of space and it has a very calming atmosphere. They are also very knowledgeable and care about giving the best service they can. I was in the other day to get indica tablets for sleep and a blonde gal made sure I got the brand she thought was the most effective.

By far the best shop in town. Every staff member is inviting and friendly. If you want to visit a place that'll make you feel comfortable right off the bat then this is the spot for you. They have a great selection as well with plenty of rotating options as well. There's really no reason to go anywhere else.

Waited in a really long line to take advantage of their 20 percent off ounces only to find out they are out of most everything reasonably priced. The whole process of waiting for someone to be able to helpand then staying in a square isn't worth the money I pay when I'm there. I'd also like to ask the blonde bud tender to put her boobs away while working with customers. Will be going elsewhere from now on.

Don't go here, product is shit with 33% tax additional.   That's with my medical card included.

Worst Dispo I've ever been too!!  please if you read this review I'm begging you do not come here this place is a scam !!!!!!! They tax on all their products and their products are horrible they don't last. Also very racial.. sad to say I was a loyal customer until I found out they were taking advantage. Grace is a wonderful bud tender. I would recommend to anyone on a budget. They have great deals.

Friendly service. Quick, typically. Wide variety of products. Would be nice if the products were displayed in a more buyer friendly way. Staff isn't always as knowledgeable as a bud tender should be. All price ranges.

Looking for something to reduce my aches and pains. They suggested a Green Revolution Tincture that worked well for me. I forget the guys name that helped me, but he was amazing. Great service, great people!

This place has rock bottom prices and a good selection. The guys here have always been super nice. Easy in and out. I went across the street and the same thing was 10$ more. Excellent prices. Would recommend.

The employees here are very helpful towards customers who are new to buying weed. They are also helpful with helping to figure out what different products you may like if you're looking to try a different form of cannabis. Myself, I'm more familiar with edibles, so when going in for joints the employee serving me asked for my specific tastes and how much I can tolerate. The products are affordable as well. It's a great little store. Cash only, of course.
