SOLEVO WELLNESS, THANK YOU SO MUCH DURING THE YEARS OF HEALING.. I OWE SO MUCH KINDNESS AND LOVE YOU GIVE YOUR PATIENTS IS WORTH STAYING WITH SOLVEO WELLNESS.
I've gone here dozens of times, often finding strains not carried by the other 2 Solevo locations. Prices are comparable, and sometimes about $5 less. As far as strictly material aspects, this Solevo consistently has the most extensive menu in the franchise, in my experience. Generally a short wait and overall a solid dispensary if you just want to get in, get your bud, and get out, though it is a bit remote as far as the location if you don't mind driving a little extra highway. My favorite thing about this place is the presence of a wide array of educational pamphlets about the various medical conditions, and the informative plaques around the walls. Though it's all fairly basic and bland, it's still a step in the right direction. There is a tremendous potential to educate folks more about medical marijuana (both positive AND negative effects, to be fair), and that's sadly overlooked at large in this money hungry industry. At least this place is (kinda) trying, so it's a step in the right direction. I hope management will continue to further that aspect, and diversify. Because as cool as most staff are, the culture represented is overwhelmingly... white. Visibly so. Not sure how else to accurately put it. Definitely a preppy vibe going on too.. It is a big turnoff.. though let me be clear I've encountered a few really standout individuals working this location. One woman in particular went the extra mile when I was transitioning between a damaged old card and a new card that would not scan. She even spent like an hour on the phone between the DOH and any other resource at her disposal. Though the poorly designed medical system in PA was able to offer no help whatsoever, her compassion was exemplary. You know who you are. I did NOT feel however that I was treated compassionately overall, sensing aversion from the staff at large and a vibe of trying to hurry me out the door until I stubbornly spoke up, painstakingly explaining the situation I had already talked to 3 Department of health representatives on the phone about who went so far as to instruct me to request a temporary caregiver, which I then did to no avail. This event may sound tedious and confusing, and it was. It took over an hour and was dehumanizing in a very retail-like, diluted way. But having gone through it, it is plain that the way PA DOH has designed the setup of their hotline and the respective card system that causes this issue (for many people) is the problem. Furthermore, it was obvious that everyone's hands were totally tied even though some wanted to help me, which is likely why I sensed so much annoyance. To be fair, the setup is not only dispassionate towards patients, but adds strains to well-meaning staff of the dispensaries who probably have to turn away patients, and one's with severely more debilitating conditions than myself, on a weekly basis. PA DOH gets a 1.5 star rating here and that's generous. I give Solevo cranberry/zelienople a 7 out of 10 for being the best Solevo, though Washington is a killer location too, if a bit busier. Avoid Squirrel hill. It's congested as heck and the menu is usually limited. If you've read this far though, I'll let you in on a little secret that Solevo is the only place in western PA with $35 Terrapin eights, and sometimes even $10-14 grams. $35 carts as well. I think of them as the Terrapin dispensary... Verdict: -Cheap-ish bud usually -Little or no patient discounts offered -Doctors office waiting room vibe but that's better than the sterile, super over-renovated trying-to be futuristic LA vibe of a lot of dispensaries IMO -Horrendous shortcomings with DOH customer service system which clearly hurts both unsuspecting patients and the staff who serve them which can and does lead to a pretty compassion-less situation for manY.
I was there on 8/5/21 to pick up the order I reserved online. When I got home and opened my transport bag, I was given the incorrect product. I ordered a flower version and they supplied me with a cartridge of the same name. I called the number listed 32 times and not one person answered. I messaged them on FB and through email and not one person has had the decency to reach out to me to resolve this matter. I will be stopping in there today to speak to someone about this. If you want good customer service DO NOT use this company.
Very fast and friendly. Able to make a reserve online and come in to make a quick pick up. Very convenient place and location!
