This dispensary was wonderful. So professional. The receptionist was very pleasant. I had to wait a little bit but I was a walk-in. They had very informative brochures and a website. The pharmacist was very helpful in guiding me to select the appropriate Medical Marijuana for my needs. He told me to call if I had any questions or I could email him. Because this is only my 2nd purchase (the 1st being an absolute nightmare ) I don't know about the price but I feel like I got a fair amount of oil for what I paid.
Be careful of deceptive practices online. I made an order online for my first time and was emailed once the order was ready for pickup, and the total was $91. Upon arrival I was told that the website made a mistake and I was not getting the $25 off, and that the order was actually going to cost $116. I realize computers may make mistakes but the fact that they offered NO Discount after their mistake was beyond reasonable customer service. They are all about the money, nothing more, nothing less. BUYER BEWARE! Never again. Sorry Verilife, I will never go elsewhere ever again and go back to you just down the street.
Great place with an exceptionally wonderful staff. I enjoy going there and the only changes I'd make are things not in the facilities hands to control. Simply wonderful .
I previously gave Vireo only 4 stars, but I docked that star for parking. Now that I use their delivery, 5 stars it is!!Steve Flushing
Why in the world are there poor reviews of this place that should be directed at the state regulations? The dispensary must abide by certain laws and cannot change their approach due to regulations. Pricing also has to do with the local laws. The prices here are steep but the product is good, especially the oils. If you're looking for a better deal, get the liquid, not the capsules. Everyone is friendly and helpful and they now offer delivery. Really helped my mother in law.
Very happy with this dispensary. The entire staff is pleasant and the pharmacist was very knowledgeable. The home delivery with free shipping is wonderful as I'm far from Queens but the first time office visit was well worth the trip.Parking garage located around the corner is convenient.
Sigh ... nice place, nice people - ridiculous prices for some vape pens. You can go to L.A. and get better quality for a hell of a lot less.
Professional, knowledgeable and friendly service.Great products, reduced my pain significantly. Love delivery option, very helpful!
Don't know why this place has only 3 stars. The office is located in a very busy part of Queens so be prepared to park in the mall next door. The staff was friendly and helpful inside when I went to pick up. The girl who explained what I was getting and how to use it was very sweet. I had ordered a delivery on the same day as the NY Marathon so the delivery was severely delayed (over 2 hrs I think) but they still showed up! Delivery guy was really nice even though I'm sure he had a frustrating day trying to get through traffic and was obviously working longer hours than expected. Someone even called me the next morning (they were closed after the delivery was late) to apologize for the delay in delivery and really that is all anyone is looking for when there is any issue in service. Products work very well for me! It's super expensive but for someone like me who uses a small amount each day it will last me forever. All in all happy with my first two experiences for sure and will definitely be back!
After going to other dispensaries in NY I can confidently say that this place is a rip off and a giant waste of time. First of all, any time I've called to ask about products, no one knows anything about the products. No one knows what product is for what strain, and I'm constantly getting different information about ratios and strains even if I've called twice in the same day. They also took 2 hours to call me back on a day that was dead (I know because after an hour of no callback I just went in person). When I went in person, it was the same deal, the person helping me couldn't tell me if the carts were indica or sativa even though it's one of the only products they push that's made by them. Otherwise they sell flower from a different dispensary for more money than the place itself. Their signup deal is the weakest out of any dispensary, and again, the prices are criminal especially for the area it's in. I recommend literally ANY other dispensary than these guys, seriously save yourself the effort.
The staff at the counters are pretty informative and welcoming but the girl at the front desk is rude and always seems annoyed. You're in customer service and your dealing with human beings with medical issues. I'd give 5 stars just for the women at the counter whose super informative but I gave 2 because the receptionist is the first person you meet and she has an attitude. Get someone who is smiling and happy to hear and see you. She was rude to others on the phone as well. Overall thank you vireo but your receptionist sucks!!Okay so now I'm back 2/21/18 bc this is the dispensary that I'm "required" to go to... front desk person is so sweet (diff person) very sweet!
First I wanna say Rebecca in the Queens store is extremely helpful. She took extra time to answer all my questions and is always very fast and efficient. I hope management looks here because recognizing talented employees is important!!!When I first got my card I was going to Curaleaf. Then a few months back I tried Vireo in Queens. Tried the red formula extract cartridge and distillate syringe. They say in other states Vireo red is the Jack Herer strain. It certainly tastes like it. This is the best tasting oil you can legally buy in NY State. It's also quite potent with 76% THC...it feels closer to 85 to me...possibly because of the terpenes. Unlike curaleaf and their other competition, Vireo uses strain-specific terpenes in their distillate. What does this mean? You're buying cannabis oil with cannabis terpenes. Unlike other places where you're getting cannabis oil with food grade terpenes (ie. Linalool extracted from lavendar instead of the strain itself.) I don't know about you, but if I'm paying top dollar for there products, Id at least like to know they're 100% cannabis! Kudos to Vireo for that. Also the distillate syringe is a great product! You can make edibles with it or you can fill up any ccell cartridge or other pod device. It's very versatile. Very pleased so far, I can't even go back to CuraLeafs carts...they just taste bad!Way to go Vireo...keep up the good work. Let's get some flower soon maybe? Better yet, live resin or concentrates? Try this place you won't be disappointed!!!
I've been searching for one place that I can purchase from and this is it! This place really impressed me with first and foremost their customer service. There is also a chart that measures the amount of thc:cbd ratio each product has. It's little things like that that I find attractive. Last but not least you can get a gram of oil for $97 bucks which is a great deal! I hope they keep their prices the way they are. I'd like to see sales from time to time or maybe Evan a loyalty program where you can earn a few bucks. Products are better than any other dispensary I've tried and I'd like to say that I've tried them all.Make sure you purchase the bug rx they sell. You get a really good hit and can change the pull settings. You can also call in orders and also have the option of home delivery.
The best. Easy to work with. Compassionate, caring staff. Prices much better than all other dispensaries around. The employees treat you as if you are family. We had an urgent issue this weekend and they honestly went above and beyond for us.
Lovely place, nice staff and they offer delivery. Quite pricy hopefully they lower their prices. Hey
Great experience. I was 3 mins early the wonderful door lady with long braids.. answered the door. She said, Due to regulations she can't let me add however she quickly offered me a chair so I could sit in the elevator area. The nice lady from Texas who help me check out this very informative and seem to know what she was talking about overall an excellent experience
I'm updating my review of Feb. 13. Vireo has started delivery for the past 2 1/2 months and I have to say it is awesome. For the month of July and August they are giving free delivery and it is well worth it. I visited the dispensary yesterday to pickup my meds because I was in the neighborhood and I realized how much I missed everyone there. Cindy who does both pharmacy and front desk is awesome and always has a smile on her face. Jaren wow she is amazing. She always helps me and is always just a phone call away. No matter how many questions I have. Really Really nice. Then there is Nash who is now doing pharmacy. She is still so sweet as ever and her personality is so wonderful. She makes you feel so relaxed and is also so happy with a Wonderful Personality too. I can't tell you how this dispensary has all the right people and all the sweetest people working for them. No matter what they are always available for you to ask any kind of questions and no question is stupid, as I have found out. They are so knowledgeable I am happy that I am going to them. Please if you have not tried Vireo dispensary on Queens Blvd. YOU MUST, they are the best. Especially, I have been going to them for 6 months, I can tell you they are as nice to you on day one as they are 6 months later. I would highly recommend them. Also, just a side note on Yelp they are still saying that Vireo is closed on Wednesday and Thursday. They are now open 7 days a week to help anyone that needs medical marijuana.
I'm so conflicted about Vireo, but from my experience these past months, all I want is to find another dispensary! I've been verbally abused by the pharmacist, the 'general' phone, 'support staff', and anyone else who had an opportunity to mess with me! That being said, the delivery guys, and (most of) the dispensary staff at the WP office (except for the pharmacist!) have been pretty much great. I'm not afforded the luxury of being able to get to White Plains much at all.Specifically, I've had leaking containers which have been a nightmare to rectify, the burden of proof lies to the 'customer/patient', and trying to replace a damaged container is a hassle, takes many days, and forces the patient to furnish PROOF that leakage indeed occurred; making one feel as though THEY HAD DONE SOMETHING WRONG!! When they hadn't! The 'vaporizer' I was FORCED to purchase is terrible! It was $40, and then having to purchase another $20 worth of filters, which work even WORSE THAN THE VAPORIZER, adds insult to injury! I researched it a bit, and after a little cajoling; I finally got the truth from Vireo, AFTER I'D PURCHASED THE $40 PIECE OF JUNK, that I could have furnished a system of my own choosing, and saved a lot of money, and gotten a much better vaporizer for a whole lot less!! The 'refill' product, which is supposed to be a 'better buy' with this 'scheme', winds up with a lot being wasted, because of the ridiculous packaging, and it pulls junk out of the vaporizer, that's so disgusting I've had to throw it away! Then they'll try to sell you more filters! Had anyone heard of any product - on either side here, that ought to need the filter replaced every refill, every month??? Something's WRONG!!Why is the consistency of their product such that one must replace filters with each refill? That isn't right! What is the JUNK that comes out from even a new filter, it's gross tasting, and leaves a chunky, funky residue in one's mouth? GAAK!I don't know if I've been helpful or specific enough about this, I can only hope to give a heads up to anyone who has a choice when it comes to dispensaries. ~~None of this addresses the need for financial assistance for people, like me, who can't afford to pay cash for this product! Dispensaries are thrilled that people need/must pay cash for this medication as they taper down from narcotics! Really though, what's the point of all this, if people can't financially afford to get relief for legitimate, documented pain and many other types of conditions that can be helped this way?~THESE 'DISPENSARIES' DON'T WANT TO HAVE M.M. COVERED BY INSURANCE! WAKE UP! PUT $ AND $ TOGETHER! COME ON! WE AREN'T STUPID!!!~AS LONG AS 'FOLKS' NEED THESE MEDS, AND AS LONG AS THEY KEEP BANKRUPTING THEMSELVES TO CONTINUE TO PAY FOR THEM, WHY ON EARTH WOULD ANYONE CARE TO HELP GET THEM COVERED BY INSURANCE??~DON'T BE FOOLED! NO ONE WANTS TO HELP PEOPLE PAY FOR THESE MEDS, NO MATTER HOW MUCH PEOPLE LEGITIMATELY NEED THEM!! ~'EVERYONE' WANTS 'EVERYONE' OFF OF PRESCRIPTION PAIN MEDICATIONS...THEY JUST DON'T CARE WHAT HAPPENS, REGARDLESS OF YOUR CONDITION, ONCE YOU'RE OFF OF THEM!! GET IT?? IT'S ALL ABOUT THE $$$!! GET IT??Sorry if the truth hurts....
They are truly amazing! Always very helpful and caring for their patients. At first I didn't understand why the prices were the way they were and why insurance did not cover medical marijuana. They explained that they are fixed prices by the state and that the pharmaceutical companies still don't consider this "medicine". So it makes perfect sense! They are also cash only because the banks still don't want to fill up the ATMs for a medical marijuana company. FYIAlways will go back to them. Thank you Vireo for helping me!PS-The hours on here are not correct for the Queens dispensary:Mon: 12PM-7PMTues: 12PM-7PMWed: ClosedThurs: ClosedFri: 12PM-7PMSat: 11AM-6PMSun: 11AM-6PMJust to help out anyone who needs to know their hours
Vireo takes great care of me. They consistently lower their prices and they have same-day delivery service. I wish we knew stuff like indica vs sativa etc., but the delivery people are literally always on-time. They are super fast. They get it. Tried every dispensary in NYC, Vireo is by far the best.
Two stars cause the staff is super friendly, but this place is a total scam! Don't buy your medicine here!! Way overpriced compared to other dispensaries and they cut their oils with coconut oil which vapes down faster than any oil I've used from other dispensaries. Went through like 2 carts in a week from this place when my carts from Remedy last me almost 3 weeks!! They sell the same oil pills that Remedy sells me, except at Vireo it's $80 for 15 count when I buy them at Remedy it's $60 for a 30 count! I wasted hundreds of dollars at this place before I finally went to other dispensaries and realized I was getting way overcharged for sub-par products. They don't even tell you what type of strain it is, no options for sativa vs. indica or hybrid. It's all just "the same" there. Absolutely not, save your money!
Unfortunate first experience. Being there are minimal dispensaries in New York I traveled a far way for my appointment. However since I'm unfamiliar with the area the little time I left for parking was not enough, there is little to no accessible parking. Inevitably I was 20 minutes late for my appointment. Obviously I would not be able to request my full appointment time since I'm at fault, but I just wanted to speak to the pharmacist for my 10 minutes I had scheduled. But I was not taken seriously and many patients were helped before me...ultimately by the time I was tended to the front desk employee told me I could not be seen. Sad because you'd hope a place treating patients with such chronic conditions would treat their patients with compassion.
I went back to my street dealer am make a extract my self in my home %80 better then what they sold me, I bought oral drops from they're strongest line they carry the red smh $83 dollars Down the drain with 0 effects of anything oh and by the way all sales are final. If I can do the shit in my kitchen no need for places like thiS.
The staff here at Vireo Health are just fantastic. Weekend hours help tremendously. The pharmacist was very helpful and was able to answer all of my questions without issue.
This was my first visit to Vireo Health and I could not be happier! Their customer service was amazing and the ladies at the front desk were so helpful. I came in needing to be seen same day due to an IBS episode that was making me incredibly sick, and they were so compassionate! They got me seen by a pharmacist even though their schedule was booked, and saved my guts from killing me. Can't say enough how much I appreciate them!
Due to my health issues I was taking Tramadol 300-400 mg daily for the past 12 years. The cost for 3 months of medication was $10. The doctor would write the prescription, send it away to my pharmacy, and then it was in my hands for use. I managed to titrate off the synthetic opioid that I was taking, using mariquana as a substitute. The cost for 3 months of mariquana to address my medical needs was perhaps $1500, out of my pocket. 65 thousand people die a year from opioids. 88 thousand die from alcohol. 0 die from THC/CBD. But to obtain the mariquana in NYS you must get permission first from the doctor ($150), then the state ($50) and then the pharmacist at the dispensary in NYC. Plus you must pay large sums out of pocket. To use mariquana I must send a photograph of myself to the state and documentation regarding my identification, none of which I must do to obtain an opioid. Now what would you choose, the 3 month $10 prescription for the opioid or the $1500 for the mariquana and all the bureaucracy and hassle that goes along to obtain it. The lesson here is that OPIATES are for the poor and mariquana for the better off. Follow the dollar. Lastly, the idea that a pharmacist is necessary for my dosing is ludicrous because there is no standard dosing, only what works for the individual. Really, the entire process of obtaining mariquana in NYS is degrading for the user. The patronage along the way is obnoxious.
I gave an arbitrary three stars as a compromise. I have never had any bad experiences with Vireo's staff or processes, and enjoyed their free delivery, but, unfortunately, its product just didn't work for me. Ironically, I had been referred to Vireo by a physician I saw for a consultation about marijuana dosing, at New York Hospital, who was involved with their marijuana clinic. She was absolutely adamant that what I had been taking, with benefit, for two years, from Columbia Care, couldn't possibly be helping me, and had to be a placebo effect. She told me I had a chance at real pain relief with Vireo's product, which had much more THC in it, and that's where the pain relief comes from. This despite my telling her that I was very sensitive to THC; it made me unpleasantly sedated.I have since found that for all her projected confidence, she appeared to know nothing about marijuana. Everything she told me was incorrect. An example of that is telling me that 'everybody sells the same product, which they buy from NYS, which grows it. There is no difference in strains, so you didn't have to go around trying marijuana from various dispensaries, and everyone's prices are more or less the same'. Nobody agrees with those statements. Some of the dispensaries may now be able to be middlemen and sell what they grow to others, but the original five dispensaries that were licensed in New York State, all grow their own marijuana. Strains can be different, and people couldn't react differently to them, accounting for why one was helpful for me and another was not. After taking me off a major pain medication, we had agreed to maintain email contact. She left her job without telling me or providing coverage. For the following three months, I was in more and more pain, as I tried to find a Vireo dose I could tolerate. Their 1:20 High CBD oil gave me a lot of unpleasant sedation, but in hindsight, no clinical benefit, no pain relief. I worked with Vireo's pharmacists over the phone. They were very nice and tried to be helpful. I wanted to give it a fair trial, and experimented with dosing milliliter by milliliter, but could never tolerate more than .7 ml. In addition, I tried supplementing with a very concentrated over the counter CBD oil from hemp, made by Charlotte's Web, hoping it might counter the sedation, but I felt no benefit from that either. At one point, I even forced myself to walk around sedated and half asleep for a full 2 weeks, just to see if my system would eventually acclimate, so I could push the dose higher, but it never did. My pain kept worsening to the point that I rarely left my apt., and had to walk around inside it with a cane. I put myself back on Columbia Care's high CBD tablets, and immediately felt better. That's when it dawned on me that the Vireo hadn't been helping at all. Unfortunately, I need to take 30 mg every four hours to experience pain relief. I worked with their pharmacist too, and recently, because of the expense, tried cutting the 30 mg back by 5 mg/a week, just in case I was taking more than I needed. However, as the dose declined, so did the pain relief. Even 20 mg doesn't cut it. So, do the math: at $187.50 for a bottle of 30 tablets, and let's say 9 tabs/day, that comes to @$1500 a month out of pocket for 12 hours of some modicum of pain relief every day. I'm not even counting the cost of several other medications I also take for pain. That is prohibitive. My next step is to try Etain's high CBD capsules, which are 2/3 the price. I'll be looking to see if they'll work, what dose I need, and how long they last. I'm writing all of this just to make people aware that everybody really is different and one product might help you while another might not. However, big message to New York State: how many New Yorkers do you think can afford this?
Friendly customer service but TOTALLY UNINFORMED. They were clueless when I asked if their product was distillate (which it's not, it's mixed with coconut oil). The lady I spoke to was new but still. They also do not have a clue on dosing!!!! I had to take almost 10x what they told me and the products are super overpriced, labs in California charge 1/4 the price .she also told me to store my pen upsidedown (so it could all leak out!!!???), it didnt make sense since they fill it from the top...it's the only unsealed part. It's not bad stuff but for mediocre stuff I can pay less... only using in time of emergency bc they are located very close to me. Also, they told me to take the oil with something fatty when it's made with coconut oil??? The only thing she listed I could eat was avocado and she didn't know if vitamin e oil would work.Friendly but TOTALLY clueless!!! I spent $200 on 12 ml oil that will last me 10 doses, 10 days, and a vape, might last me 3-4 weeks if not less. I'm not big either, 100lbs.The vape pen is satisfactory and does the trick for neuropathy on light days, but the edible oil is alright. So far it seems like RICK SIMPSON oil is the strongest I've tried so far and does the trick for nerve pain the best but I can't remeber the dosage.
Called me to argue and chastise me for increasing my dosage to a more potent level. Even though I'd spoken to my doctor about it. It's a shame they're so arrogant here.
Located in the heart of Queens. Vireo Health is a cannabis pharmacy and the only way to access their service is by having a NYS medical cannabis card. Quality product is outstanding. NYS Cannabis program is limited and so far allows only vape oil and oral liquid and pills. This dispensary has all the potential to grow even bigger when NYS expands their cannabis program to edibles and flower. Good job Vireo Health excellent oil quality.
This place is a joke! They are just big pharma, selling really weak MMJ that is done by color instead of actual science that is open to the public. They are very unprofessional, do not get back to you, and their CBD oil is weak and useless. CBD derived from hemp is actually more effective than their weak product. Staff has no answers on terpene profiles, bio-availability, etc. They are money down the toilet.
I have found all medical marijuana dispensaries to be annoying. Vireo in particular has a ridiculous process where you must sign up on their difficult to use website and either drive all the way to queens for a consultation or spend 30 minutes on the phone with someone for a virtual consultation. Nothing about this place is convenient. You can't edit or cancel orders online once they are approved. The only option is to send an email and receive 6 emails asking how the service was. Or to spend hours waiting on hold on the phone. Delivery charges $20. And the products are expensive. I'm going back to smoking actual weed for 40/oz
I purchased oil which was supposed to last 30 days and it lasted 3. That cost me $100.00.It's very sad because you can purchase twice as much for half the price outside the dispensary. In many respects the medical marijuana program actually encourages and fosters illegal conduct. It's an absolute disgrace.
If you suffer from migraines or are sensitive to chemical scents than do not come here. For one, the place looks decrepit and I could smell from outside the building that there was a strong chemical fragrance. When I went inside I was overcome with pain due to the scent of air freshener or the personal products of the two women behind the desk. Why does it smell so strong at a medical facility?? Never in my life have I gone to a medical clinic that was so irresponsible as to expose people suffering from various ailments to strong chemical scents. Not only that but I was not let in due to missing in the email (it's in small print at the BOTTOM of the confirmation email) that I had to bring the doctors form along with my id and medical card. I'm on day twelve of an extremely painful migraine and I have multiple sclerosis, it took so much out of me to go there only to be in even more pain upon leaving. To those women behind the desk, get a fucking clue and make it as scent free as any other legitimate clinic or hospital.
Fabulous customer service and great products.. Love the delivery too. Very professional. happy happy patient!
I live on Long Island. Why my doctor suggested to me to go to Vireo in Queens I have NO idea. Plenty of dispensaries local to me. Geographically undesirable. Parking was horrible. This was my very first time at a dispensary. I had no idea what to ask for. The 'Pharmacist' offered no route for me to take. I randomly chose the mid level choice. I thought I would get a mini lesson on what's best for me. I took my first vape that night as per the instructions. Product tasted like a moldy mildewed shirt. Smelled something real awful. I wonder if I got what I paid for. Was promised a first time discount which never happened. Never again.
I have very little experience with getting medical marijuana as I've only been to Vireo, however as I learned yesterday, they have the absolute worst customer service I've ever dealt with. They sold me a defective Bug RX vape pen and a bottle of bulk oil for it on Monday. They gave me almost no instructions as they wanted to close. On Friday, I filled the vape with my entire bottle of oil and put it down. The pen leaked all of the oil out onto my couch in the time it took me to go to the bathroom! When I went back yesterday with the defective vape and photos of what happened they were absolutely no help and treated me as if it were my fault! After sitting there waiting to be helped for an hour, they offered me a 10% discount going forward and told me to contact the vape manufacturer for a replacement, but I just left. I'd rather take my business elsewhere. Don't patronize this dispensary as they do not stand by their products.
Great product for treating illnesses. Get into a dialogue with the staff; they are super friendly and knowledgeable.
They are terrible, but they have a monopoly, so you have no choice. They don't answer the phone--all choices in the phone tree lead to an answering machine. They don't show up for scheduled online consultations and leave you sitting there, and in-person consultations run extremely late. Plus, feels much more like a drug dealer than a pharmacist and aren't at all helpful. Basically they have a chart that tells you which color coded products have what ratio of THC to CBD, and they will read the chart to you.
Honestly, I think that they sell a placebo, because I tried Colorado candies, I tried MA candies - and what they sell just doesn't do anything; no pain relief at all.
Today I had an experience with a young woman that restored my faith in the human race ! This beautiful young lady (Anessa) delivered my Rx & 7 min later came back to my door to count out the money I gave her to show me I overpayed ! Vireo never fails me ; they keep me up to date with all my documentation & respond to any questions immediately! I've never come across any staff member that hasn't been awesome BUT today was above & beyond This is the place to go for your cannabis needs ! PS, the extra money was well deserved so I gave it to her ! They come fully prepared to keep me safe & that's imperative for my situation God Bless & Stay Safe ! VIREO All THE WAY
The product is fine, which is why I'm giving two stars instead of one, but ever giving this company my business or my phone number was a mistake. I have had to unsubscribe four times so far from their texts and twice from their emails (I didn't mean to opt in to either--it's all spammy stuff). If you have a question about your account or their products, don't bother calling--you can't get a live human on the phone. And if you email, you will get an unhelpful response if you get a response at all. I regret choosing this dispensary.
If you need medical marijuana, forget for having any compassion for paying for any products with Vireo. The products are very low dose and forget the edibles. Everything is extremely overpriced and uneffective. One star for their delivery service. That is only working part.
May 2020: Easy from start to finish. Everyone from the initial pharmacy telegraphy visit (Doc had a cool face mask with stars on it), to the delivery team of two people in a vehicle were professional. From dress top to bottom (casual or business casual), to demeanor, disposition, and knowledge. Everyone was very pleasant. I thank you all for helping my life and get off the myriad of daily Rx regimen from two of my physicians. I use the Queens location in between the Queens Center and Queens Place malls. Be sure to ask the pharmacist about a financial hardship discount such as being on public assistance, a first responder or a military veteran discount. UPDATE: August 2020 Multiple orders this month to figure out what works for my chronic health condition (Crohn's Colitis) during this severe flare up that landed me in the hospital multiple times. The Red distillate and capsule work great for later in the day or evening, the Yellow capsules I take in the morning to knock back the spinal stenosis and leg numbness (pins and needles), the digestive and autoimmune disease, and also helps this veteran with mental health. Buy the Bug Rx by Mig Vapor along with the replacement coils for a discount. Also be sure to receive your $3 validation parking discount, will be on your receipt.
"Worst customer service.Went to the Queen dispensary near the mall on 3 different occasions and 3 times dealt with long wait times even when the store was empty with no patients inside. Also every time I placed an order online I would have to call them and remind them of the order I placed or it was never ready by the pick up time I was promised. The staff and manger are disrespectful and don't take account of responsibility of there own mistakes.Don't waste your time and money here your end up with a migraine .
Only dispensary I've ever walked in and walked right back out. The staff has the rudest, self-entitled attitude ever, literally talk down to you like they asked me in a really slow drawn-out voice like they assumed I don't speak English and literally asked me, " do you know what marrriiijjjuuuaannnaa is?" Ok so I come in here with my MMJ card, and you assume I don't know what weed is??? Like I was stupid, literally have never been treated this badly ever in my life. You need to learn to treat people with resorting to racist assumptions. And overpriced for the smallest carts I've ever seen in my life!!
I was in the neighborhood and realized that the brand of paint cream that I use has its own store! So so I went in and was greeted warmly by the gentleman at the window. I showed my card and was invited inside to find out more about how to purchase my cream here. After registration the registration which only took a few minutes I was informed that I needed to do a one time consultation with the pharmacist, via a phone call. My appointment was scheduled for almost an hour in the future in the future and a really nice lady I think might have been the manager call the pharmacist to had her move my appointment up sooner, since I was in the store. I really appreciated this consultation because I was able to find more products to combat the chronic pain in my knees, hip, back and foot. I decided on there is there oral spray (green 1:1) and of course my usual balms (red 20:1 & Indigo 1:20). They even gave us some free swag (tote bag and lanyard). I'm glad to know I can order online for pickup or delivery. Thanks Vireo Queens!
Very knowledgeable and pleasant staff made my first patient consult successful. I was taught everything I needed to know and initial usage is very positive. The only reason for the four star rating is they were running behind and I had to run out in the rain to feed the meter. Do yourself a favor and get the White Plains Parking app so you can better control your time and no need to carry around a bunch of quarters.
Not a place I plan to return, for a number of reasons:-The receptionist was talking loudly across the lobby to other staff about a patient, by name--a clear violation of HIPPA!-One staff member was wearing such strong, coconut-scented cream or hair product that it was nauseating to me.-Loud, jarring music was playing that wasn't at all relaxing for patients, especially those who are in pain.-The women's bathroom was dirty, with paper on the floor and urine and paper on the toilet seat.-I waited almost an hour to be seen by the pharmacist, who rushed through his scripted talk and didn't really do much to allay my fears about using cannabis.-Once I got my prescription filled by the pharmacist and went to checkout, I was given incorrect instructions by a staff member who was not even aware that they did not sell high-CBD vape cartridges (see below). Now, let's talk about the cannabis. Oops, I mean "medicine," as they pretentiously call it.-They had a limited selection of products, especially in the high-CBD range. No pre-filled high-CBD (their blue and indigo line) vape cartridges were available at all, and the one high-CBD oil they had (blue) was available only in bulk, so you have to fill the vape container yourself. You'd need dexterity, and could waste the expensive oil. Plus it's inconvenient.-The cost is crazy high. A one-month supply of oil plus a vape pen at Vireo costs what a one-YEAR supply costs in Washington or Oregon. It's also more expensive than at another dispensary, Etain, in Yonkers (which is gorgeous, calming, classy and with much more professional and knowledgeable staff; and they give you a FREE vape pen and first-time-customer discount). The one big advantage at Vireo is that soon they are going to offer online ordering and home delivery. If that's the biggest selling point for you, and you're okay with Vireo's products and pricing, then maybe it's a good dispensary for you. But that's not enough of an incentive for me to go back.
Weak products , very small amounts sold at exorbitant prices , too much hassle , will not return.
DISHONEST marijuana dispensary: I'm a caretaker for a medical MJ patient and have been filling prescriptions here for several years. While the staff have been by and large nice people, I can confirm the reports in other reviews of long, unexplained waits and very high prices for small amounts of product. The last straw, though, was when they emailed us written quote, which included a modest discount, then declined to honor it once we'd travelled all the way to the storefront. The pharmacy manager informed me that, while they could see the discount offered in their own records, they refused to honor it and insisted that we pay full price. Just plain not honest. Buyer beware.
Here's a photo of one of the three cartridges I received in the 99$ starter pack from Vireo. They last for about 4 2 second inhalation's before they're empty and you start tasting the burnt wick of the cheap cartridges. Take a good look at the amount of product in that cartridge and tell me how three of those constitutes a 99$ price tag. I'll take my business elsewhere
Everyone here is professional, kind, and understanding. The facility is clean and pleasant.
This place is great, if you want to spend $100 on an oil cartridge that leaks immediately rendering the money spent worthless. There are a lot of things that I do like to waste money on, including scratch off lottery tickets, Will Farrell movies on Blu-ray, and child support. All of those come with some sort of thrill, but nothing like the thrill of having oil spilled on something important. I recently switch from "Vireo" to "Anyone except Vireo" and have never been more satisfied. I would strongly recommend anyone else to experience my level of satisfaction and purchase their medicinal cannabis from "Anyone but Vireo"
I just left Vireo Health in White Plains. I was there for over 2 hours while I watched staff members-except receptionist who does all the work. I even overheard a plan to answer the phone that they close at 5 30 rather than 6 so they could all leave for a party. I was interviewed at 1 15 and they didn't even look at my order because they were missing a component. The young man who checked me out was insolent and handling my mouth piece with no gloves! And didn't attempt to cross sell me anything. Oh did I mention they got their lunch order and all went in back until I complained.I will never go there again will try Yonkers. They need a visit from DPH no antiseptic cream or wipes no gloves.
Went here for the first time. They have a huge selection of medication. Their staff is extremely knowledgeable. They also deliver! This is my new favorite dispensary.
Worst service ever! Stay away if you can. I would drive an hour and pay tolls just to avoid this mess.
I am currently using medicinal marijuana for chronic migraines that I have suffered (taking every prescription medication known to mankind) since I was 21 years old. I am now 61. This is the only remedy that has taken my migraines away!!! The staff are pleasant, efficient, knowledgeable and helpful. The facility is clean and safe.
The product they offer is crap and way too EXPENSIVE. They have NO real knowledge about medical marijuana and the different strains and the symptoms they help alleviate. Don't waste your money or time with this clip-joint...
I've given them another chance and updated my rating. We shall see what happens next.
Never again will i spend money or time here. The product i meeded was not in stock so i bought bulk. I emailed questions to find out if i would get everything i needed to administer. I was given the impression that YES...everything is included to consume right away. So i bought bulk. I get home and find out i have the wrong vape and product is nonrefundable. So i call for a solution/alternative the next day. They suggest smoke shops. I go to the lical smoke shop to find that product is banned from the retail market. Great. Now i have to go back to Vireo and spend $40 on their device. Fine. I go online to order. Looks like i get $5 off if i purchase device with oil. So i inquire about applying promo to my order. No reply but order is processed at full price. I ask again during pick up. They refuse to apply the promo. I ask if i can get $5 credit towards a future purchase. Manager says no. What a waste of time and gross miscarriage of information. Never again with this place...2 stars only for the ONE helpful and empathetic person in the whole place. Product just ok. My 1st experience was great at queens location but white plains is dismal.
Worst place to buy medical marijuana in the entire country besides maybe New Jersey. They remove all terpenes and give you a concentrate that is diluted with medium chain triglycerides and its potency is only 47.5%. And it costs 130 dollars for a gram. A gram that only contains at the highest THC level available of 475mg. Pathetic. If they claim they are in pursue of pharmaceutical grade products then consistently make them stronger! I came from California and I can tell you that I have tripled my expenditures on cannabis since moving here because I used to pay max 70-80 dollars retail for a gram of wax that had at least 80% potency. And California requires testing so don't let Vireo claim that because they test everything for consistency that they can charge 130 a gram! I owed and ran a dispensary in California and I used to pay maximum 50 dollars a gram for the highest end concentrates from the best known names in Southern California cannabis industry. There is no excuse for 130 dollar a gram concentrate that is half as potent as concentrates available in other states. I'm very disappointed in NY state cannabis program.
Worst rated, overpriced scammed horrible medicinal marijuana dispensary in the whole world. I ordered a whole cart from this place for $70 and it came unopened of course but with all the liquid leaked and they won't even call me back or answer my emails,...... just why vireo?
Wow. I took down my original review after they called to set things straight. I regret that. This IS A GARBAGE PAIL business. (original review)New Review: It falls somewhere between a lemonade stand and a shady drug dealer.Don't waste your time. If you engage them, trust me, you will.I would have given less than zero stars if the option was available.
This place runs their business like a joke. I went back and forth via the website, email, and phone for nearly two weeks before being told I had been approved and could finally place an order. Order goes through, get the confirmation to pick up; an hour later, I get a cancellation email, no explanation given. I reach out via email and phone for something but i got nothing from customer service, like ever......until I an email survey from Vireo.I was blunt that I found their business practice messy, zero stars, would not recommend. A week later, they call me up to inquire why I rated them as such and I repeated my opinion of their business. The customer service rep got loud and argumentative with me-yup- that's how Vireo approaches their unsatisfied customers. I thanked the rep for proving my point and reiterated that I nor anyone should give them business. There are some many other dispensaries, skip this one.
I wish they had better options available say like FPWellness and Cuaraleaf....They need to sell Select carts like all the far away NY dispensaries
I will never go back to this Dispensary. The last 2 times I picked up here, I received cartridges that were faulty. The glass cracked on one before I even used it, That's $100 down the drain, not to mention..no medicine when I needed it. The 2nd cartridge worked after approximately 4 times...then died with about 3/4 product still inside...now leaking out through the mouthpiece. That's another $100 down the drain! The person I spoke to was not helpful and kept repeating the same information, that made no sense. This place has gone way down hill. After reading the other reviews, which I wish I read sooner, it appears I'm not alone in my feelings.I have a feeling this place won't be around much longer.
DO NOT GO HERE!!! I went last Saturday after the integrative dr at Memorial Sloan recommended this location. After I had the phone consultation and told them what I wanted (lozenges), I got on the train and went to White Plains to pick up. They don't let you in the building. Not even in the closed off vestibule (see pictures). I had to stand out in the freezing cold for a half an hour and complete my transaction OUTSIDE. And by the way, they said I never placed an order. They didn't care that I was a transplant patient and being out in the cold is a risk to my health. Using the excuse of Covid was BS. I normally go to Veriflife in hunts point and guess what? I'm allowed in the building and they practice social distancing. I have felt less shady buying actual weed from a dealer. SAVE YOUR TIME AND MONEY, DO NOT GO HERE. You've been warned.
An absolutely awful experience. I was left completely disappointed, and quite honestly I'm still devastated two days later, especially after the amount of money I laid out. I blame the pharmacist & listed below are a few of the reasons why. 1) My scripts/items were chosen for me after a 2 minute phone conversation. I wasn't given a single option with exception to my preference of administration. At that time I had trusted the process and just went along, however looking back It feels more like a scam if anything. 2) My total price was increased significantly once the pharmacist became involved. ( I don't mind spending extra, as long as I'm receiving something of actual value.) 3) She seemed very inexperienced 4) No considerate follow up (automated email/text excluded) I wish I had viewed these Yelp reviews prior to making my decision. (Live & Learn)
1 hour after Vireo Health told me they couldn't give me my medicine, curaleaf supplied me with what I needed!! Don't bother with vireo health. They're implementing all their own rules and ignoring state regulations. I wasted two hours of my day with vireo. GO TO CURALEAF INSTEAD!!!
This hellhole is as bad as possible, as if it were focused on making everyone feel terrible about daring to use this horrible drug. And about as warm as visiting day at state prison. I can't imagine a worse experience ordering a legal product.Nothing was ready at the appointed time to pick up my order. No help. Zero warmth or concern. Not even the ability to wait inside or look at any of the available products . It's all "order online and go away". With a BIG sign warming me not to take any photos. Vireo obviously doesn't want anyone to see what this place looks like. I can't really blame them. There are way too many good places to pick up your meds. Use them. You really don't want to subject yourself to this sad place.
I made my first visit to Vireo two weeks ago, after getting my MMJ card. Despite the fact I did not have an appointment, I was able to see the pharmacist after a short wait.I left with the prescription I needed. Everything was explained to me and I have had no problems with it. They even followed up with a call after a few days.I'm happy.
ATTENTION! FIRST TIMERS - YOU NEED AN ONLINE CONSULTATION, MEDICAL CARD AND CERTIFICATION BEFORE PURCHASING ANYTHING. I AM NOT SURE WHY IT DOESN'T SAY THAT ANYWHERE ON THE WEBSITE. IN ADDITION, DO NOT COME 1 MINUTE LATE TO YOUR CONSULTATION. THEY WILL SKIP YOU. I DIDN'T KNOW THERE WAS A SUCH A HIGH DEMAND FOR MARIJUANA IN WHITE PLAINS THAT THEY COULDN'T WAIT ONE MINUTE. NEXT TIME I WONT USE THE BATHROOM BEFORE MY CONSULTATION.
Do NOT waste your time or money at this place. I ordered the vaporizer starter pack that is $99 and comes with three different cartridges. NONE of the cartridges arrived full. They barely had any liquid in them and I asked for a replacement. They kindly replaced them to only give me cartridges with even less liquid in them. The excuse I got is that they arrived "sealed" and cannot open to check for me. I also received another response saying it was ok that there was barely any liquid because it is actually there, even if it appears empty? Not sketchy at all... all in all I learned my lesson to do my research before making a purchase this size. I hope this helps people in the future!
It gets a little backed up but well worth the wait! I have Crohn's Disease and after 1 year on oral blue I had my first normal colonoscopy. There was no mood altering effect! The vapor oil with more thc has been very successful treating my PTSD and insomnia! Now living with post covid POTS, I could not live without. Pain meds made me ill but the honey melts have made it livable! I pray for all the others like me to move to a state that's medical marijuana friendly!!!!! Its expensive, I only wish it was paid with a sliding scale!
My first experience with a N.Y. Dispensary. I had such high hopes, but unfortunately I was left extremely disappointed. Not too sure if I should explain my dilemma to Vireo Health or just try my luck at another establishment. In all honesty… The items I received are terrible. For the money I spent; I shouldn’t be this unhappy!
Vireo's online customer fulfillment system is not up to the task, for a number of different reasons. You can't trust that an order that was placed for delivery and confirmed will actually be delivered. It started with routine order placed online, for delivery. Vireo's order system accepted and confirmed the order, even though (unbeknownst to me at the time) my medical card on file with them had expired. The scheduled delivery window came and went with no delivery, so I went back online to check the order. It turns out their website has no direct way to check an existing order or get order details. The only way I could find to get to an existing order is to start a new one, starting from scratch with a zip code, then clicking through to a product menu. On the menu page there finally is a "login " button. After finally figuring out how to get into my account I was able to determine that the order had been canceled due to an expired card. I had received no communication from them that the order had been canceled, either by text or email. I then called the telephone number listed on the website. No one answered and I was asked to leave a message. I did that but didn't get a call back, so after an hour I called again and left another message. I also emailed them at the address given on their website, inquiring as to why the order wasn't delivered. I did get a reply to the email, stating only that that they had no delivery scheduled for me today. There was no mention of an existing order being canceled. So I called yet again and left another message. Someone did finally call, and I was able to get the card info updated. (One would think that I could do that online but that basic capability isn't present in their system either.) I complained to the phone rep that their order system was really bad, and she agreed with me! The bottom line is that their order system is poor in key respects. It accepts orders when it shouldn't, cancels them without notification to the customer, has convoluted navigation, lacks basic account management capability, and lacks capable and timely customer service. Don't trust that your order will be processed correctly at Vireo!
