Worked with Kodie there and it was a real chill experience. The online ordering made the process very fast. I also like that you can pay with credit card(I didn't). A lot of people don't carry cash and that's a nice bonus.
Buyer Beware! Very efficient ordering and fulfillment at the store. Pleasant people at the store. However, one of the products purchased, a Joos disposable, didn't work and the store used every excuse avoid a return. I didn't use it for 28 days, but when I did, it simply didn't produce vapor even though the battery was charged. I followed up for a return or refund and was told, in succesive emails: First, it was out side the 30 day return window--I pointed out that it was only 28 days since purchase. Next email-please send a picture of the product with bar code and invoice. I sent the picture, but didn't have the invoice. I did, however, have the order number from the text sent to me when I picked it up saying it was ready. I was then informed that they had no record of the order, despite a text from them (which I sent a picture of) with the order number. Of course, the company has a legal obligation to keep a record of the sale, so.... Basically, the person I was dealing with was probably told, no returns, and use any excuse. So one can assume the risk of a faulty product will be with the purchaser here, not the seller.
I've been coming here for awhile now but my experience over the weekend prompted me to write a review. First, I want to start off with the pros: I have never had a bad experience with any of the staff at the South Beloit store. They're all very friendly and helpful and I generally enjoy the experience. My issue is with the way the line system is run after the check-in point. Over the weekend it was very busy - I generally know going in that I'm going to have a wait before I even get in the door but the outside portion usually moves pretty steadily so it's not that big a deal. However, I've had multiple issues once you get past check-in and go to the numbered lines in the next room. Over the weekend I was in line number one. Since we are the closest to the outside, the security guards bring anyone with mobility issues to the front of line one and they are allowed to cut the line. I DO NOT have an issue with this practice. However, if you are going to do that, you have to have a policy to rotate the rest of line one into the other lines. Those of us in line one watched countless people who were well behind us in the general line getting done while we were waiting for our cashier to attend to the new customers ahead of us. It is frustrating to have this happen after already waiting our turn in the long line outside just to get in. What makes it more infuriating is that there's so many easy solutions to this issue. Here are a few just to get the ball rolling:1) Instead of numbered lines, after check-in have everyone get into another big line and have the cashiers call people one by one as they are available. This solves many issues including needing to have a register open for people who can't wait in the line, as well as for those customers who have long complicated orders or have ordered incorrectly - instead of holding up just a few people in their numbered line, everyone else can keep moving. Also, customers are constantly going into the incorrect numbered line because of general human error - this also solves that problem.2) Have a line monitor who is paying attention to the numbered lines that aren't moving and start instructing cashiers to rotate which lines they're calling from. We are all adults and can handle waiting in line, but if you are concerned about giving your customers a good experience, this is an absolute need to be fixed. It is a bad customer experience to watch people who were well-behind you in the general arrival line be served, check-out, and leave while you are stuck in a line that literally hasn't moved in 15 minutes - and that's not an exaggeration.
When you have to order something online and get there within an hour it shouldn't be sold out get it together sunnyside. Super dissatisfied on last visit.
I love everything about this place except how long you stand around waiting in line once you get in there. You're supposed to place your order before you go so it's in and out. But more times than not people will be up there changing their order around. There should be a place, out of line, for you to go do that so the lines keep moving. They'll also put 1 cashier on 2 lines that they have to go back and forth between. Doesn't make much sense. Product itself is good enough I've been dealing with it until a closer dispensary to me opens up
I'm used to the small shops in Oregon. This is more of a supermarket. Building is modern and well lit. Most people had ordered ahead online. Line moves quickly at the front desk to get to the back. As I hadn't ordered ahead I was directed to see a delightful woman who quickly and efficiently took me through what I was looking for and they were offering. Then sent to pick up line.Very efficient. I don't have much experience buying so not a lot to compare to but for a relative newbie this was a good experience.
Man, when you're running low you're running low. Beggars can't be choosers, especially if you're a real pot head. Colorado (Native) weed will forever be my top but when the craving hits, like 2am Taco Bell this place hits the spot every time. You know you've never had bad Taco Bell at that hour... be real. The people who run the show here are very chill, laid back and carry a good vibe. One weird thing is that you can't look at the weed. Whatever... it is what it is. In conclusion, stay away from the shake but any of their flower does the job and then some. I appreciate you fine people, thanks for cultivating positive vibes and happiness for all. Haters gonna hate.
Very Helpful staff! Full of product info & happy to answer questions. Love the indica gummies for a great nights sleep
I can not understand why you would have to remove your mask in this establishment!!! No distancing in practice no hand sanitizer-it. Every one is a little job focused and not costumer focused. Also I was in line afterlife and was put in to a line on the inside (line 4) that no one was working and watched as everyone else got to go as I whited! Not until he lady behind me started yelling that I was helped!!! Crazy will not be back maple glen is better and friendlier and less expensive!!!
We have been going to SunnySide since day one not until last month and this month we started finding seeds in our green!! Never had a seed not one before since they opened but last month and this month my friends family and myself have had a seed in our green we have sent pictures and all they say is it doesn't affect the merchandise and give us a 10$ credit or refund . We found seeds in LA wedding pop/ G wagon/ Rollins these have all gave us seeds some whole seeds some just crushed up seeds. I believe it does affect the product it certainly affects the weight of flower when you're weighing seeds it affects the taste when one burns and you inhale it. Besides this issue I do recommend SunnySide every thing else has been fantastic!! The employees super helpful and polite the only thing they do I don't like is when they let people they know cut to the front of the line but this is usually at the Rockford SunnySide there's a lot of cutting to the front because they know the person at the front . Still if you haven't been to SunnySide I recommend you give them a shot!!
Great selection, plenty of parking, easy to get to, friendly staff, and I did not have to wait.
I love this Sunnyside location!!! Seriously. The bud tenders are so kind & helpful, always! They'll always answer any questions you have & they give great recommendations. Today I went with Jordan's recommendation for a concentrate & Edgar's recommendation for a new accessory- the puffco+. They've got a great selection of products & an even greater team running it. I've been to my fair share of dispensaries & this one is by far my fav. If you're in the area or passing through, you have to make a stop!!
I felt welcomed as soon as I walked in the door. Staff were very helpful, polite, very organized, easy, and the process was quick. I liked that it was possible to order online, and my order was ready for pick up right away. If I absolutely had to critique, I'd say more visual would improve the experience, however, when you get up to the counter, you can ask questions, change, add, or remove anything. Keep up the good work. I'll definitely be back!
Very friendly staff and great products. Such a genius location too. I got GG#4 and Cresco refresh rocket fuel (haven't tried yet). The GG instantly calmed me down. Great relaxing and chill high. Tasted earth and was very smooth. Love the vape too. Bad anxiety. Probably saved me from having a panic attack. Justin the bud tender was fantastic and friendly also.
I love this place just not the prices. Cant blame though make the money well you can. Everyone who works there has always been super kind and as long as you order online you will have no problems. I suspect after the pandemic it will be an even more enjoyable experience
Hands down the worst experience I've had at a dispensary. The woman checking people in through the door was incredibly rude, and never seemed to think that it was our first visit there. My wife and I decided to drive to a different town than to come back here. Perhaps having signage or people explaining the process would make the customers actually feel welcome there instead of feeling like cattle.
Not a fun experience like dispensaries a supposed to be.Had to order outside and could not see anything visually. Sunnyside needs to step up the visuals of product. Not only online! Somepeople like to just do walk-ins.
I was literally standing in line 3 for what seemed forever, while the cashier called to line 4 at least 4 times, once I got up there to her, my order was wrong, I even said I felt invisible. Why order ahead and the order is wrong. The system needs a lot of work.
Saturday night 19 total lanes and 5 total registers open over a hour and half wait. No reason to be that understaffed on the weekend.
All of these people are crazy...This dispensary is how it's supposed to be. This is a professional establishment for people who want the world's best product. I highly recommend the Cresco Brand cartridges as the quality of the live resin is better than anything I've ever had, Rollins and Gorilla glue were my choices. I also ended up with Cresco branded JetfuelxGelato at a whopping 23% that was delicious. They had a pure Sativa Rollins at 27% and almost all choices above 20% even the cheap High Supply brand which smoked as well as the top shelf. If this is what the black market has to compete against, I'm sorry for the dealers out there. Think "Apple Store" of weed. I placed my order online, and except for the line, which shows others agree with me, the process is painless and quick.Best product, price points for every buyer, clean, huge, and the world's best smell hitting your nose when you enter. It's busy, so order online to make sure your strain is in stock. I missed out on GG #4 flower because I didn't want to decide early, but they are so busy, it almost doesn't matter.Buying process is easy for those from Wisconsin too, my sister lives there and stopped by before visiting me, I'd recommend trying the product any time you're in state, or just want to buy a joint to try the "dispensary" experience. The taxes are high, but that's what you get with a new market, the good thing is unlike in other states, Sunnyside provides the best quality I've seen around the world. This is the best dispensary chain, and I'm appalled people actually want that "Washington/Colorado" experience that was catered to weed tourists who want to smell their buds instead of getting a truly superior product up and down the line. Please shop here, you might never buy from your dealer again.
Yo! I love Sunnyside South Beloit! I've been a customer for about a year and its been great to see the company evolve. I've never had a negative interaction with security, an employee, or other customers. Kristy helped me with my order today and she was awesome! Super chill and relatable. Honestly, the bud is top notch, but it's everyone who works there that keeps me coming back. If you haven't been, you need to go asap! Side note - Their covid protocols are top notch! Everyone works together to stay safe while keeping things moving smoothly. Also, don't freak of you see a full lot or long line! On average I spend 10-15 minutes in line before reaching the counter, which I think is outstanding!
Despite a full house working the speed of things is ridiculous. Wait time was about 30min just for a single small purchase. On top of that be careful about fraudulent practices. Card reader's are constantly down making you use their ATM which charges an in house fee. If this wasn't the only place close to get my medical needs I would never come back. Compared to other retail vendors in the country this place is super lacking. Seems like whoever works in the back has no idea what they're doing and the front check out desks are constantly waiting on the slow inventory in the back making wait times unbearable at times. SUPER SLOW SERVICE otherwise products are nice.
This place is. Joke !!What a ripNo solvents listed on ANY of their concentrates - Bend over And get ready to get F'd - BIG TIME
Double check your receipt! Twice in two weeks I was told my order was being round up and I would be given the difference back in cash. Both times I was told it was in the bag which they staple shut. But no change was ever given. Make sure you get charged appropriately. I'm not sure how many other people this is happening to. Not to mention wait times have been astronomical. I would think they would have more than two cashiers on their busy days.
Better than the Rockford location. At least they have items in stock. There is a process for the volume of people but help us all when their card machine goes down or a worker is unfamiliar with a sale or discount. Too stressful and too many hurdles for the amount you'll pay. Try other vendors until the system gets pulled together here .. meaning supply, service and access. 1. Cards were offline but later learned some lines were operating. Just the first four. Dafuque. 2. Security is personable and unfortunately like most places.. staff will tell you 1 thing but then security dictates otherwise. Either power trip or to keep everyone safe. Who knows. But it's a tale as old as time. Example: machine is down. I'm quoted a much higher than it should be price. No worries, I'll go get cash but don't want to have to return to that line. Staff says I won't and gives me exit instructions. Security stops me immediately. Tells me I'm wrong. I explain and give said reps name. Not important. Do it his way. Ok3. Return and I'm happy these security folks know the process and wiz me right up front. 4. Manager helps the new rep handle the re-ring and then says cards are working on line 5 & up. Huh?!?! Then, a swipe could have taken place versus this. 5. New rep is confused by all things on the receipt. Figured weight is the issue. Nope.. price. Rather than involve the customer they talk among themselves until it's finally said out loud by the mgr to the rep, "Good job." Y'all it's heavily promoted at the website that 20% off thru Superbowl. C'mon man this ain't a good job when you're adding time to the trip and not informing customers or the wait. 6. I've only seen it via movies but if you're selling drugs or "controlled substances" why mistreat your clientele? Ludicrous to me. Time laps available via pic. Arrived before opening and at least they were ready to get the abused clientele hurd together and indoors just to wait outdoors again. Que sera sera. This process would never appeal to me. They're basically winning in the demand side so they don't care to provide actual customer service. Geez Louise.
Stop letting old hippies talk to the staff for twenty minutes while you have lines. 20 people in line took 30 minutes with four people behind the counter. Staff is super nice
Good quality and personable staff, but be ready to wait in line until they can get their expansion up and running. They receive lots of traffic from Wisconsin. Sara B helped me, and when I left an accessory item at the counter, they ran out to my car to give it to me despite how busy they were, which was beyond nice!
Today I watched a security guard nearly carry a handicapped gentleman up to his bud tender so he could get his order. This is the finest example of compassionate care I’ve seen. He steadied that man so he could get something for relief. As I’m preparing for major neurological surgery it really gives me love that sunny side is ready to serve us all with compassion and love. I left in tears of joy and without anything. I was without the right card and no cash. It was the best medicine to see another human being treated with dignity. Bravo Sir! You’re a good man. Kudos for being a real hero to those of us with neurological problem. I’ll never forget your face. Love. Joe R
The space is very clean and professional. The building are well ventilated and social distancing is encouraged. Their products are definitely priced to reflect the convenience that they provide. This place seems to range from crowded to extremely crowded with people constantly flowing in and out so expect more than a quick pick up and go. They do have an ATM and also take debit but both those options have fees.
Quick (usually on the weekdays), easy and painless. Especially when you order online. Which is what they highly recommend. Any accessories you want, you can put in your cart online, however when you get in line at Sunnyside, you need to look for that item you want and bring it up. They don't keep any of the accessories in back. There is a $3 fee for using credit/debit cards. Super friendly staff. ??
My wife and I recently visited Sunnyside in South Beloit. It was our first visit to an Illinois dispensary and I was pleasantly surprised. There is plenty of parking. There is plenty of room inside for lines, however, we didn't have to wait at all. Patrica B. was the employee who helped us and she could not have been better. Although I had looked at the menu online, we told Patrica basically what we were interested in and let her make recommendations, which we have been happy with. It's a nice building, good products, very friendly staff who answered all my questions and were willing to spend time with me. It's true that you don't see the product displayed and it's not cheap, but I'm happy and plan to come back.
I have always been very satisfied with my shopping experience with Sunnyside. However, today was most definitely by far the most rewarding. I was assisted by a young lady named Krista. She was the nicest, patient and most helpful person I've ever dealt with there. She was so understanding and didn't hesitate a bit when I asked if she could help me to understand the different options that I had. My only regret about shopping there next time is that I probably won't get her as my checkout lady again. What an awesome Employee. Don't get me wrong, I've never had a bad a bad check out person but she was an exceptional person. They need to make her employee of the month and give her a raise. :)
