My first time going to a dispensary so really nothing to compare it to, but it was very clean, spacious, the staff was knowledgeable and friendly! Also had a sale going on when I was there. I purchased a disposable pen and woo buddy, it's good stuff.

Curious about this legal weed phenomenon I joined a friend last week inthiseraofcovid to see what it looked like in August 2020. This new facility is near Woodfield mall, with security and Q/A reps outside. My friend wanted to check out something uncomplicated and decided on the gummies after talking with a salesperson. So we went into their car and created an account, ordered the gummies, and got a text message they were ready to be picked up immediately. From there you go into a security checkpoint where Illinois makes you scan your ID. When your order and identity is confirmed, you enter this very cool space with very widely seperated check out lanes. Overall after you order, it's pretty fast. We asked Vilma, our budtender, about how to best dose, and she suggested starting with 2-3 mg of thc and see what happens. The two products were different types of thc and different sizes, but they were the same price. My friend bought the Mindy Segal (james beard award winning chef in chicago!) formulated ones (50 with 2 mg of thc in each candy), and reported they had no noticeable thc taste, but were pretty delicious, easily mistakable for a regular high end gummy. The Watermelon Fiyay 10 ct 100 mg, of which he took 1/2 a candy to try, had an effect for about 2 hours and indeed the taste of thc was noticeable. The Mindy ones were overall, the standout product.  On his receipt (he paid in cash to avoid the $3 fee for using a card) you can see these two products were about 33 dollars each, and the state took 24 dollars in taxes, so the taxman gets 1/3 of your total ticket.  So that works out to a little over a dollar per mg of thc product, altogether.This company has a wide range of products and they sell both national and in-house brands, and the store is very well secured and safe, the employees very informed, and the products are pretty interesting.

This location uses the line system to get to the window to get your products.  Many times that process is a cluster you know what.  People in line 4 walk to window 2 and people in line 3 walk to window 5....this has happened on several occasions.  When I spoke with the manager today at 1:15pm he gave me the impression that my comments were a bother.  He wasn't rude but you could tell his attitude.  "Well, thank you sir, we certainly appreciate your comment.  Please go out that other door.  Have a good day"   So, I'm going to write a letter to their CRESCO LABS owners on Erie Street in Chicago to suggest they change to a queue system vs. lines.  The lines are not efficient many times.  Three people in my line commented on it....so the fact that a lot don't complain doesn't mean that all things are well at Sunnyside.  Other than that, I am happy with their weed.

They were amazing! So friendly and kind. If you go in not feeling a 100% you will definitely leave smiling. I'm not to knowledgeable and they definitely did not make me feel uncomfortable and were looking out for my best interest not the bottom dollar. I'll definitely be back

I've been going to Rise Mundelein frequently this year. I saw a billboard for Sunnyside and figured I would check it out. The employees I interacted with were really friendly, their store is big, clean, and I was in and out of there in less than 10 minutes. I went on a Thursday afternoon. They want you to place your order online before you go to the store so that is what I did. Since this location is much closer to me I will be returning. Thank you Sunnyside.

They handle covid protocols perfectly. I feel extremely comfortable when waiting, and it always smells great indoors. Prices are what you would expect for an IL Dispo, taxes are high, but you are lying for the quality.

Sam and Liz are rockstars!! Everyone was so helpful and super friendly, and took all the weird anxiety of buying marijuana out of the equation. Personally, I like the whole vibe and concept of this dispensary. They actually listen to your questions and seem to generally want to help you find the right product for your needs. I wish they put out tip jars for their employees - those guys deserve it!

The person who took the order - Joe - was super friendly, knowledgeable, and was not just trying to 'make a sale'.  Jake - the person who checked us out - so friendly!! Super knowledgeable, engaged, and funny - he was a great way to close out the visit! Really great space - open, clean, fresh.  Quality products and really good variety as well.  Highly recommend this location and staff!

I really like the people at this Sunnyside. Had my order ready and I was in and out in 30 minutes. It was not a Saturday or Sunday so that helped. Everyone is really nice and willing to help if you have any questions.

UEverything was fine until I got home and realized they had sold me a previously opened 10 pack of recreational gummies. The seal had been broken. Way I look at it employee pulling package from backroom should have double checked seal and cashier ringing me up should have double checked seal. Now company wanting me to fill out more forms after I had already spent some of my time emailing them about this issue. Can t stand companies that make you jump through hoops when it s all their fault. They should have apologized and offered to make it more than right instead of forcing me to state my side in forms. Would never go back there.

Khristian was a great help. I placed my order and when I purchased it realized I needed more. He informed me I could just place the order at the counter. Saved me the trouble of going back on my phone to order. He was a helpful gentlemen and it was an all around good experience. I will continue to come back to Sunnyside

Don't buy. We gotta stop giving business to dispensaries until they lower prices. $80 an 8th is straight robbery. And the shake sucks too, it's all stems and flower grinded down, tastes like shwag and def doesn't have the thc amount they're claiming. Go to your local black market until the legal market stops trying to rip us off!

This was a very organized and friendly experience. There are staff directing you throughout the buying process. And the folks at the counter are very knowledgeable. It was worth the drive!

Great place, Jarod and Gina were awesome to work with. Gina was super helpful at explaining the accessories.

When you walk in, to your left is very welcoming staff. They asked me for my Mobile Order and gave me a ticket to bring into a line in the store. It's a huge dispensary! Tons of staff to help new visitors. I visit this location most often. Staff is very friendly and offer you all kinds of help. I even got some free Cresco Football cups out of the blue for being a continuous customer!

Spoke to Joe.  Great guy with a plethora of knowledge.  And get this...he thanked me for allowing him to counsel and address my needs.   I mean, who does that?  I'm in customer service and I wish I had 5 Joes to help sell my product.  His supervisor (forget her name) had some really great input as well.   Super professional and a really great experience.  Nice work guys!!

Wonderful experience for my first dispensary trip in Illinois. The whole process from making an account online (if you're not already registered), getting checked in, and picking up your product was efficiently quick, and easy. The staff was very friendly, and knowledgeable as well. Shout out to the bud tender Sean for telling everything I needed to know about the vapes, and flower, and more. Really prepared me for what I was to expect ahead. The inside looks new, and hip as well, and has a nice modern feel. Perfect for any cannabis conossieur. Place smells great too ;). I wish this business the best!

If I could give them zero stars I would. Had 2 bad very bad experiences. They are rude and don't care about their customers. Literally never ever going back to them again.

I've been to this location a handful of times now, each time my visit is always super pleasant and smooth. I feel safer here then going to work each day and I'm a health care provider! Huge thank you to Alex S. who took the time to drop some friendly knowledge from one partaker to another.

A great experience from start to finish! It was my first experience here, so I initially called and spoke with a service representative, Nicholas. He was fantastic, and convinced me it would be worth a trip right then. The easygoing and kind staff were exactly as described. Great product offerings too. Must stop by!

Racist security/rent-a-copsWent in tonight and was immediately harassed by a low life security guard. Waiting in line for over 10 minutes so I decided to get on instagram, when I opened the app the story setting was on and the guard yelled across the store at me and said "ma'am no pictures" I say "okay I'm not taking a picture" he rebutted and said "well it looks like were" . Okay all these people in here and he's concerned about what he thinks I'm doing. I brush it off. After I pay for my items, I step aside(opposite direction of the exit) to put my wallet away and remote start my car. He yells at me again and says "ma'am the exit is this way" (at this point I feel targeted because just like everyone else in the store, I was minding my business and making my purchase). A black gentleman walks in and he immediately yells at him and says "sir remove your hood" loud and rudely!(it's 23 degrees outside and another man had a hood on and of course nothing was said to him)..I pass the guard and told him about his racial profiling and how off putting it is. I walk away and he yells across the store again and says "don't make this a race thing". Well how can I not when I'm entering an environment that clearly lacks diversity and I'm being yelled at for opening up my phone and walking to the side to get myself situated? This was extremely upsetting and disgusting on so many levels.

Went here yesterday for the first time.  Had an online order.  The person standing out front, the person checking ID when you first walk in, and the person who checked me out in lane 3 were all very nice, laid back, and helpful.  I even asked a question to the person checking me out and someone else working there overheard and gave me valuable input as well.  I will definitely be back again!  Also, plenty of parking so you don't have to worry about that.

Went there on June 15, 2021. Not trying to be a Debby downer but this was the most irritating dispensary experience have had in my 25 years of going to places like this.   Walked into the main showroom floor and went to one of the lines they had. It appeared to be the only place where employees were doing nothing ,so I thought they could sell me something . All the other employees were socializing with each other or were tending to other customers utilizing 2-3 employees per customer. As soon as I went to the employee doing nothing ,he told me I had to goto a different employee who had been busy gossiping with a different employee. This lady was rude and obnoxious . She walked away from me and expected me to follow her ?so I guess she wasn't even in the correct work area? The reason this is obnoxious is there were 3-5 employees standing around doing nothing . One of those guys could have just told me where to go, but all they seemed to care about was flashing their cool holstered glocks and telling me where to exit . The vape cartridge they sold me was 400% cost more then any place I've ever been in the United States or overseas .The Cresco vape battery ended up not working and it was also 400% markup from what I normally pay. Usually they cost like $5 or $6. They charged me $20 plus an extremely high tax. Can't review the vape pen because was unable to use it. Probably because one of thier lolly gagging employees burned it out or stored it incorrectly . Don't think your supposed to store it with the charger screwed in. Tomorrow will go back for a refund , and will see if they still have people lolly gagging . I'm no business expert but it also appears they had about 20 more employees then they actually needed so that would appear why they have such a mark up.

Sunnyside Schaumburg is my favorite dispensary. I was just there today and Katie helped me tremendously and gave me a super cool pride battery for my cartridge!! Thank you so much Katie for always helping and being the best ever. I will definitely be back and will be bringing my friends!! (:

Customer service lacked. There was no initial greeting or explanation of how the place worked. One of the staff was especially rude. It was my first experience and I wanted to look around and get some information on how the dispensary worked. Staff was intimidating on us to purchase products before we even got the chance to look around. Some of the products seemed cool, but we didn't stick around long enough to find out.

Super easy to order and very, very friendly staff!!! A little pricier than the street prices im used to in NC, but legal weed is always better anyways. I have gotten 2 bio Jesus prerolls, and one face mint pre roll. Both pretty tasty and I have to say- got me hella stoned

Made a trip to Sunnyside in Schaumburg.  The dispensary is clean, open and bright inside...Every employee had a smile on their face and they move you through quickly and efficiently.  My bud tender was Sabrina.  We had a nice chat, she explained each product and was a pleasure to work with...she answered all my questions with a smile.  Happy with the product and the experience.

The cashier forgot to give me one of my items. When I went back to ask about it they threw a huge fit and practically bit my head off. The lady at the front desk spoke to me in a really condescending voice and told me not to open my bag until I get home. Well, if I didn't, I wouldn't know you didn't give me the stuff I paid for, would I, you moron? Will definitely not be going back as there are plenty of other options in the area. Other places around are definitely nicer and treat customers better.

This place is great! Their processes are seamless and so efficient. You order online, and then show up- parking is so easy. You get in line to confirm your order and show ID. They print you a confirmation slip and send you to a numbered line. Your order comes out quickly- you pay and off you go. There is a $3 fee for debit, do bring cash, if you can. There is an ATM on site. Recommend them highly!

I love Sunnyside! Usually I go to the one in Rockford but I find it better than Verilife or other companies. The vibes of the place are always great (must be the color orange releasing some sort of dopamine) and the staff is always super friendly. I was disappointed that this location didn't offer a reward system though. Other than that, this location was huge & the employees were super friendly. As I was leaving the manager thanked me for coming in which was nice too. So, I highly suggest coming here (maybe Rockford because you can get rewards then a potential discount)!

I've been here several times and it's great!! The ordering process is online and super simple, and everyone who works here is really nice. Prices are reasonable given the high tax rate. Compared to other places with online ordering their selection is pretty good. You can pay with cash or card, although you do have to pay a decent transaction fee if you use a card. I recommended this Sunnyside location to a couple friends and they loved it too!

This is my go to place.  The staff is always friendly and knowledgeable. Today Luke R helped me and he taught me a couple things.  He really knows his stuff.

Today was my second time there and it was a wonderful experience. Ordering online was quick and easy and I didn't even have to wait for my order to be processed. The first time I went, I waited about 15 minutes. Today, I was served immediately. The workers are extremely nice and knowledgable. They do charge a $3 fee if paying with a debit card, otherwise cash is advised. Wish the taxes weren't so high, but good stuff!

I love this place. The staff is friendly, it's super clean, bright and inviting. Jaime C at the counter was friendly with his warm personality and upbeat attitude as he checked me in. You could tell he had a great smile through his mask, Russel too! Russel was awesome!! We chatted a bit while we waited for someone to grab my stuff. I love the staff. I haven't had a bad experience yet. Thank you!

Very organized and clean, spaced out and large store. The were two check points the first had a 5 person limit, then the main checkout was set up like an airport with 10 registers and socially distancing markings in place.The 1- star off is due to the associate who was checking people out with his mask only covering his mouth and his nose completely out. Luckily, I did not get him to check out my order.Other than that it was a positive experience and precautions are in place

This is by far the nicest dispensary I have visited across four states.  A major plus is that it isn't hidden in an industrial park or in a questionable part of town.   The dispensary area is large, clean and tastefully decorated.  The online ordering, check-in and purchasing processes were very smooth even though this was their grand opening.  I didn't feel rushed at all.  The taxes are high at the Schaumburg location, but that's not their fault.  I will definitely return.

Out of all of the dispensaries I've been to in/around Chicago, this one is by far my favorite! Extremely large space, very efficient, and pleasant and friendly workers. Sean was awesome and had a lot of knowledge about the products! I highly recommend making this place your "go to". In and out in less than 10 minutes.

My first visit to a dispensary in Illinois () and the entire process was easy - from signing up for an account online, ID verification, to completing your purchase.  Staff are also sweet & helpful. Pleasant experience overall!  Prices (esp taxes) are a little higher than expected but i guess not much can be done about that...

Awful awful customer service and don't even think about trusting their descriptions on their items. They are almost always incorrect or inconsistent in regards to indica or sativa. I will never go back there. Not to mention there are so many other dispensaries in that area that aren't Cook county tax. Save yourself some grief and money and look elsewhere

Every experience I've had at this location have been either mediocre or downright awful, but this latest certainly takes the cake. I had purchased a 1g high supply cart from their Champaign location while I was visiting the area which ironically was an amazing experience (incredibly professional and friendly staff). That cart ended up leaking out the bottom, rendering it useless as well as ruining my battery (also purchased at Sunnyside). I contacted Sunnyside support and was offered a coupon code for $87, the pre-tax price of the defective product, only after the representative told me this would be a "one-time courtesy." Lol. Yesterday I placed an order with Sunnyside in Schaumburg to make use of this credit. When I arrived the coupon had to be manually applied by a manager and the cashier checking me out. There was some confusion about how it would be applied since I purchased two products that were both cheaper than $87. The manager told the cashier to take 100% off the first product ($49.60) and then said, "then like, 38 bucks off the second one," after doing some quick mental math. Which would have correctly equaled $87. For some reason the cashier only took $26.85 off the second product, resulting in a total discount of $76. Which was literally printed on the bottom of the receipt. I didn't realize the error until I got home because they stapled my receipt inside the bag, so I had to return there today to get back the money I overpaid. When I got there, two managers lied to my face and tried to convince me that they had applied the discount correctly. They said it was "state law" that the discount be applied AFTER sales tax, and that the extra $11 was actually incorporated into the discount because it was taken from the sales tax (??). I'll let you read that sentence again and see if that makes any sense to you. Their argument doesn't even make sense, because as you can see in my receipt they took the $87 "coupon code" and applied it to the pre-tax subtotal in the first place. At some point it's not even about the money. I get that it's only $11. I just don't understand why when you sell someone a defective product and they ask for a refund, you treat them as if you are doing them a favor. When I left the manager even said "I know you're confused, I'll give you your money to make you whole." No apology, no acknowledgement that they made a mistake. Up until the moment I walked out the door they tried to convince me I was wrong, using multiple different arguments! I also feel as though I should point out that Sunnyside is a subsidiary of Cresco, which also owns High Supply, the manufacturer of my defective product. So essentially one of the largest cannabis companies in the country tried to nickel and dime me over a defective product worth less than 100 dollars, and then resisted giving me 11 when they incorrectly applied my refund. Good job guys.

It's like everyone in the state forgets marijuana is a plant. You go to Colorado eighths are 20-30$ You go to Cali, Oregon, Michigan and prices range from 30-50 $ eighthsIllinois is 80-90$ eighths after tax WHAT A JOKEThen these places sell bud from Verano which is the most disappointing, dry nug. This brand is for low end dispos. Oh also you can buy Cresco for half the price in Michigan. So this review isn't against whatever this place is called, this is just for customers.. don't buy recreation marijuana until they let more business have licenses so more dispos can open so they can drop the price. We can control the prices, just don't roll over and let these fools price gouge you 85$ for an eighth when it cost like 12$ to grow.

Came in with a temporary ID and turned away because i didn't have the hole punched on . Said I had to have another ID. What's the point of even carrying the paper ID. Bunch of clowns at this location won't bring my $$$ here I'll take it elsewhere

Efficient. Clean. Very friendly staff. My first visit to a legal dispensary (I plead the Fifth on any prior behavior). Stood in line outside for about 15 minutes before I noticed the sign in front saying they only allow admittance to those with online orders. That makes sense as you would have a much longer line if stoners were going to stand around and gaze for much too long at the selection. So I went home empty handed only to place an order online which then was immediately ready for pick up. Hrmph, could have done that while waiting in line. Oh well, still got my product which I enjoyed. Of course be aware the steep prices for legal THC.

The place is nice. You enter and someone helps you w the selection. Or you can order ahead of time (suggest this route). It's nice but I was looking for a retail outlet similar to the ones in San Francisco. I want to enter like I do a store-- like Sephora or The Body Shop, with shelves full of merch, where I can read labels on my own and browse. Good quality stuff though. I think most dispensaries are going to have good quality stuff. So I can't say this is better than the rest.

Interested in the corporate setup behind this chain. Originally thinking it was a breakfast diner, was curious as to why there was some weird police escorted parking lot deal.Wow was I surprised when I finally got clued in...Anywhoo... I got something for the celebration of a NEW PRESIDENT.Haven't broken out the candy but... wanna sometime soon.

First dispensary I've been to and I keep coming back. They are usually stocked and if I have any questions, they are helpful and will go to each other to get help if they don't know or want confirmation to get me what fits me best (because I did have quite a few questions). Teamwork is great to see!Definitely one of my top dispensaries!

Love this dispensary! I've been going here ever since it opened way back when. I decided to write a review now because the worker who was checking me out a few days ago, Kelly, encouraged me to! Sunnyside has the best prices in the area. I've been going to other dispensaries that are within range of my house and Sunnyside always has the widest array of products and the cheapest prices, along with a super friendly staff and a lot of parking. The employees here are so personable, sweet, and are always willing to help. I recommend pre-ordering online just so you can take your time looking at all the products and be in and out quick. Overall I've always had a great experience here - they have quality products and a helpful staff. The best dispensary in the area!!!

Stopped by on a Saturday and was in and out in less than 15min. They have a great selection, especially compared to Rise. The prices are still a bit steep and that's why I gave 4/5 stars, but they're slowly getting better. They're enforcing distancing too and have markers all over to indicate where to be. Love it and definitely will be back when prices go down more.

Organized, clean, decent pricing and lots of inventory. Bonus: pleasant employees that actually seem to want to be there. Ordered online as required, received a notification for ready to pick up moments later and only about a 20m wait to pick up. Such a nice process compared to the long wait times and unknown inventory at every other dispensary. Currently recreational sales only.

Love the super fast service I have had. Not sure what it is like on the weekends, but I usually go on the slower times as to not wait in line. Everyone is super friendly and helpful. Hopefully the taxes come down in the future, or they are able to lower their prices a little.
