They had a great selection, prices are good, and was a easy process to go thru, I was in and out in less then 15 mins

Amazing Experience, customer service exceptional! Super friendly environment and professional polite staff.I was helped by an awesome young man named Ryan(hope that's how you spell it) I've been to other dispensaries and this one by far takes the cake as far as customer service. He was very knowledgeable about the products sold at this location and was great enough to make some recommendations based on the products I was purchasing that day. He also helped explain in detail how Rise's reward system works and what to look forward to in the next coming weeks. Will most definitely be coming back to this specific location because of Ryan and the other staff as well!  The wait times were not bad at all but wait is expected due to the high demand products they sell. Thanks RISE Niles!

Great experience! Clean, knowledgeable staff, quick visit, large recreational menu. I will definitely be back, and I hope they continue carrying Mindy's products!

First time customers, pretty much walked in and said "I don't know what I'm doing" and they were so helpful! Walked me through everything at the front security check desk. Then when we got to the back the gentleman described the products and showed us how to order on the tablets. It was super easy! The young man at checkout was very kind and had a good energy! I was hesitant because of the other reviews but we went anyways. Great experience for my hubs and I!

The variety at this dispensary is great along with the customer service.  All the employees are super nice and helpful.  I always leave with a smile on my face

Had an interesting 2nd visit to Rise in Niles and am in love (again) with the flower I was able to purchase. My first visit was so great because I did not have to wait to enter the store, I placed my order immediately, and picked it up all within 25 minutes. Not this time. In the order area I was approached by 2 different young men who refused to let me just look at the menu on the tablets. After telling them that I needed no help, one of the guys hijacked my tablet and began scrolling through edibles when I was just quietly trying to place my order while the other guy stood behind us literally yelling out random responses to the other staff member.  These guys do not understand social cues. I could tell the intentions were to help but it felt very invasive, if I took a small step away, he would take a larger step towards me.....more empty rambling...maybe he was on something? It was a very awkward experience telling someone you don't need help then they just don't leave you alone. He even walked with me to the line to pick up my order. I ended up with various things in my order that I did not want and my girl Natalie (soo sweet) helped me sift through what I wanted vs. what was ordered for me by the overzealous bud-tender on the tablet. She let me know about some flower that was not on the menu and it did not disappoint, thank you Natalie for the Orange Afghani & give those young buds some awareness training!!

Honestly the best experience I've ever had at a dispensary! It's so cute on the inside and the experience is always fast, easy, and problem free. The online ordering process is nice along with the rewards program, and I love the option to be texted with updates. The employees are very inviting and as someone who was a little anxious about trying a new place, I didn't feel anxious at all about the experience. Great job and highly recommend!

This dispensary is awesome  I've been to a few dispensaries but Rise is my fave! Everyone that works there is friendly and helpful and the best selection of flower

Never had any issues and everyone is happy to help if need be! Newer to the cannabis world and they answer all my questions well! So happy to have this place right down the street from me!!

I read the reviews and was nervous about going to this place. But everyone was super nice! I get anxious going to places I've never been before and not knowing what to do, so I called and talked to someone on the phone about how the waitlist works and how ordering online works. I think her name was Abigail. She was really nice, probably thought I was crazy or something. But she helped ease my anxieties a little. When I got there, someone checked me in and he was also great! Super nice and seemed like he was enjoying his job. I got in line to pick up my online order, which was ready very fast, and that also went quickly. My cashier was also super nice, I didn't catch her name though. It's nice to see people enjoying their jobs and having a good time. I appreciate fast and above average service, as I come from a retail environment where we get online orders ready within an hour and do whatever we can within reason to make everyone's visit enjoyable. I'll definitely be back! Thanks!

This dispensary has been very good so far. No long wait times. Been here 3 times and havnt had to wait longer then 10 mins on preorders.  Staff has always been very friendly.  Prices are crazy due to Cook county taxes of course,  but comparable to others. Once you sign up online, they send deals periodically,  which I like. I haven't seen any others doing this. They also have plenty of easy access parking.

Nice place, check-out was pleasant, product was good but the guy who helped us was a condescending know-it-all.

I had a great experience when getting my medicine. The sales staff was knowledgeable and friendly. I briefly talked with one of the managers and he really impressed me with an exceptional level of service.

Word up. Weed is legal in illinois, bout damn time. Visited today, service was tight, swift and professional. I wanted to add a pre roll to the order but they were out after a busy weekend. The gummies hit. I'm stoned as shit. I'm done with my bit.

I've been coming to Rise at least once a week consecutively for some time now, unfortunately today the manager specifically told me not to be "lazy" and go get a new I.d because I explained how mine just expired. They let me in prior with the same I.D (SEVERAL TIMES). Other than that it's over priced, I'd rather just take my talents over to VeriLife.

Happened to notice the dispensary driving by and since i had never been to a dispo before decided i needed to quell my curiosity!! If I could merge this location and the Mundelein location together into one, that's what I'd do. I'd take the size of this location and mix it with the medical options and location of Mundelein. Employees all seemed friendly and helpful. Showed us how to use the iPads to search for product and place an order. I was so shocked to walk in and not see any actual product or advertisements or anything but i guess it's due to the laws in Illinois (eyeroll, ask me if I'm surprised). So you can SELL weed but you can't look at a photo of it. Makes a lot of sense, right? There was no line, and this was on a weekend. There was plenty of parking. The store was nice and bright and very large!!! (My biggest complain about Mundelein location is the size. I wish it were as big as this one!). They seem to have a decent variety, although i believe last i read on their site is that they dont have medical (?) at this location, just recreational. Overall, this was the first one i visited and have only been to the other store referenced above. I have nothing else to compare to. But seems like a great option with great employees.

Delicious tasty trip spread. Came out with warm golden triangle of toayed pita. Spread skordalia on it a purredd garlic potato spread. Taziki was good not my fav but refreshing yogurt and cucumber spread. Numbed three is a a fish missed can't recall the name but was good. They start you off with warm crusty bread and olive oil. We had beet salad With dates red beets yellow beets spinach feta cheese candied walnuts.We also had fried calamari came out piping hot it was OK the red sauce was okay. Was a tomato sauce. And saganaki a large portion I prefer it sliced thinner. Service was excellent. The busboys were excellent. You'll never lack water. Nice atmosphere they also have a crepe bar. First ones to arrive were seated and taken care of promptly. If you want to dine alfresco beautiful tiered patio. Just not a fan of ninety degree weather.

07/26/21 - Ever since they legalized the use of marijuana products in Illinois I have been curious to see what type of things they sell.  I met my sister here today to satiate my curiosity and see what they have to offer.  When I got there the building is very non descript all white exterior w/frosted windows obscuring the view inside.  2 things to know you need a valid ID that is checked as you enter plus they only except cash.  If you're planning on buying anything make sure you bring a lot of cash cause this sheet ain't cheap.  After you go in the entry checkpoint you go through another door where they have a number of displays, iPad screens that show the entire product lines available.  If that's not enough there are staff members inside that are very helpful & knowledgeable about the different products & what the uses are.  They are more than willing to walk you through to make sure you get what you want & need.They have a whole array of different products some to alleviate pain, others for stress relief, anxiety, oils, vapes, tinctures, edibles, creams, lotions, recreational use or just to get 'F' up.  Dude I just wanna get stoned lol .  There are so many variables affecting the price.  If you have a valid medical use you get discounted rates, seniors get discounted rates (let's get all the old geezers stoned dudes)There are also heavy taxes on all products.  After you make your selections you go the cashier to pay.IMPORTANT THINGS TO KNOW     * Make sure you bring cash as they (ONLY ACCEPT CASH).  Lots of cash depending on what you intend to buy (better to be prepared.     * First timers get a discounted rate (ONLY THE FIRST TIME). Once your hooked Baby you'll be back     * Medical discounts for people that have a legitimate need from a doctor     * TAXES, TAXES, TAXES  are ridiculously high even for Illinois & Crook County so come prepared

Jōōs Cheese and Chong is listed as hybrid on their in-store order kiosks, but is labeled as Sativa on the actual product - heads up. Expensive prices, but I think that's an Illinois thing. Really nice employees. Not the best keep of accurate data on their products. Which, ya know. Can be a big issue when dealing with state alterers...No first-time discounts. Huge interior with a lot of different choices of things. Lots of parking. **They do make you slip down your mask to show your face when you walk in**

So.. went to the Niles Rise Dispensaries for the first time on Monday.  Upon entering, I asked the greeter if they could handle medical transactions, as I have my medical cannabis card.  They said yes they could and that the additional 15% discount (which is applied only on Mondays for medical patients) would be included and they said yes as well.  I told them that it was my first time at that Rise location and that my usual dispensary was the Rise in Mundelien but I had been in that area and was curious as to what the Niles store looked like.     The sales staff was very friendly and I reiterated that I was a medical patient and Rise Mundelien was my normal dispensary I visited.After picking out several products, it was checkout time.  They had to bring over a manager who could actually take off the 15% discount manually and that took some time and made me wonder why the medical transaction what so cumbersome.  I assumed I wasn't the first medical patient to by product from them. I went home and decided to double check the receipt which I rarely do.  What I found was that the 15% was applied but unlike typical medical transactions, a wopping $50 tax was added to my $180 purchase.  I assumed that since they staff told me that they could perform medical patient transactions that it would be a similar experience to the Mundelien Rise which is more conveniently located very near to my house.  Not the case.  They conveniently neglected to mention that while they could do a medical patient transaction they would have to apply the typical recreational taxes on my purchase.  Thats not what I was lead to believe would occur.  I went drove back to the Rise in Niles, which was about an hour away from my home, to discuss this with a Manager.  I asked to speak with a Manager and eventually a nice young guy met with me and I told him my story.  He said he would speak to the "boss" in the back office which I assumed was the Store Manager and disappeared for a short time.  He came back and told me Store Manager Boss ultimately couldn't or wouldn't  do anything about it.   Nice customer service.   So, here's the thing.  It wasn't really about getting back my $50. It wasn't worth driving an hour.   It was about feeling like I had been duped and mislead.  What they should have done when I asked if upon entry if they could perform Medical Patient Transactions was to let me know that they could add they 15% discount, but since they where not a licensed Medical Dispensary, they would have to apply recreational taxes to my purchase.  But they didn't.  Im sure I'm not the first medical patient to show up there so they should have been aware of how to inform medical patients about the details. And the Store Manager (Bossman) didn't even have the courtesy or the courage to discuss this with me in person.  If he had done so and offered some sort of solution, even if it was a small empathetic token of understanding, the discrepancy would have been erased.  Perhaps if he had offered a $5 tee shirt (his cost) with the Rise logo on it that would have given him free advertising of the Rise Brand?  That would have settled things.  And it would be a "win, win".  But nope.  He decided to do NOTHING.  And in doing so, he lost a long term customer and I will be looking for a new dispensary brand to do business with.  If I was an executive at Rise and I found a store manager who did that, I would find another "Bossman".

Was really nervous in a first time dispensary but they made the experience really easy. Inside was brightly lit and cozy, very modernized and cleanly. The edibles are much better priced than other dispensaries and they were kind throughout the process.Highly recommend and will come again if I'm in the state.

I went here for this first time this past week. After hearing so many bad things about dispensaries since it became legal in IL, I was very impressed. I was able to place my order online. I went there to pick up and pay. It was very clean, reminded me a lot of the phone stores actually - so bright in there! Everyone was so friendly, they checked my id at two separate points (so people worrying about that - they are very careful), and then I paid and picked up my stuff. There was about a 5 minute wait to pay, but that was it. No hours-long wait only to find out nothing was left. I had been contemplating going to Mundelein when I found out about the one in Niles. Much closer! And a great first experience at a dispensary. Products are also of really good quality.

Efficient service and well-managed. Easy to get in and out. Not a dispensary that’s like the DMV, or one that makes you jump through hoops to buy a plant , or looks pretty yet is still poorly managed. Nice job rise
