Being from LA and moving to CT was a huge culture shock, in many ways. (I know you're saying, why?! lol, family stuff. nuff said) I had my medical card in LA bc of an illness. Although I'm in remission I still get severe headaches from the treatment. I was also a pro body builder and now am paying the real price for those plastic trophies and medals. So the medical marijuana is helpful for my issues with that as well.  I hate pills. This place is by FAR the BEST dispensary I have been to on the East Coast! I recently have been diagnosed with CRPS. A very painful nerve damage syndrome. The manager, Brian, and the head tech, Gabbi, were nothing short of AMAZING. They looked up strains that were specifically for nerve damage and then got in touch with me to go over which one was best for day and night. WHO DOES THAT?!?! Now a days they just want your money. I've been to other dispensaries here, and in Mass. (waste of time and money if you ask me) They are helpful to a point, but not like Affinity. This place ordered what I needed. Explained how to dose it out. What to eat so when I ingest the oil so it gives me the best possible affect and in turn relief from the pain. It was the best match up strain for me since I was back home. Great Job Brain and Gabbi, Thank you So much! After that oil I actually slept through the night. I haven't with the nerve damage pain, its going on 4 months. Amazing rest. No loopy high. Just pain free and a good nights sleep. BEST AND LOWEST PRICES IN CT!!!!!!!!!!!! If you go anywhere else, again you are going out of your way to pay more and paying to just get a 'nod' with, 'yeah thats a popular strain'   You do not get that at Affinity. They know what they are talking about. And give you a reason why its popular. Not just agree bc the percentage of THC is high. If you are new to the medical marijuana club, A, welcome. B, please do your homework on where you go. Your comfort and wellbeing with this stuff is in their hands, go someplace where you know you aren't just another number and not a dollar sign. For me being from a place where its avail and the dispensaries that are for medical only know what they are talking about. Most are certified budtenders and medical marijuana certified as well, coming here and going to other dispensaries was kind of a nightmare. I was spoiled back home with people knowing what they are doing. I didn't get the same type of info and help at other places I've tried here. One place even forged my name to keep me at their dispensary. So please do your homework. This 5 star review isnt just for them, it helps consumers really find what they need.

I've recently joined Affinity Health & Wellness, and right off the bat I was extremely impressed!! Positive energy would be a major understatement! Hard to believe, but not one staff member failed to welcome me to the Affinity "family" on my 1st visit. How refreshing is that I ask? ^^ Another huge perk is Affinity's turn around time on orders. I had placed several orders on different days, and all were ready for pickup in 5 minutes or less! I can't be any more honest when I say that simply has never happened to me in all my dispensary travels. Did I die and go to dispensary heaven??  :)Last, but certainly NOT least, I had the distinct pleasure of meeting the owner Ray, who I can't thank enough. We had a conversation on the phone regarding a strain that just returned after being absent for some time. A strain that offers tremendous relief from my M.S. symptoms. When it recently reappeared  on the menu's of most dispensaries, I asked Ray as to why Affinity wasn't stocking that strain and he informed me that that particular strain wasn't in demand in that area. However, he was more than willing to contact the grower and work out some arrangement with me. I hung up with Ray as he assured me he'd get right back to me....about 8 minutes later? He called! He asked me how much I needed and with that said, it was a done deal!... "I'll put them in your cart" he said!! I do believe It was truly at that point when I went into shock. That wonderful, almost forgotten, olde world customer service is PRICELESS!! There was absolutely zero resistsance from Ray to look into this matter, and he made it a priority. This speaks volumes to me as a consumer!! I've asked myself what actually distinquishs one dispensary from another? Customer service. That's what! Here's what I look for in a dispensary: A positive environment, filled with people who care. People who take their time to listen to my concerns/questions. Affinity has got that covered BIGTIME....check! A good online ordering system with a fast turn around time for pickup. check!A full menu that offers a wide variety of strains, check!  A very dedicated owner making it clear he/she is willing to work with you!! Check and double check!!It doesn't get any better then this folks!! No joke!  Kudo's to you Ray!! Thank you so very, very much for all your help and effort. An Excellent place to set up your mmj reg card too. I live close by somewhat, closer than all the others, and the staff is superb, enviroment is always impeccably clean, always well stocked, they have a wonderful variety of literally every type and strength of csnnabis products, including cbd. Prices are extremely reasonable, their flower is usually always properly sourced through good companies like curaleaf, theraplant, etc. Tho sometimes ive recieved stuff a month old and getting to point of extremely dried out, still unbelievable quality and its not the majority of the time that this will occur. Getting set up there was a breeze as well. You really feel part of a good community, as the employees are knowledgeable, caring, and get to know YOU, not some patient number. I recommend anyone looking at dispensaries, consider joining this one. Its superb in every way, even the parking is excellent, location is not too bad, traffic sometimes, and building provides safe security and privacy with blocked put windows, cameras, and a series of lock in doors for max security. Love this place.

I just changed my name to align with my gender identity, and the entire staff had learned my new name with ease the moment I told them. The staff are absolutely excellent, and the selection is key ? they take great care of this patient ? thank you so much for keeping me happy and healthy and always feeling like home when I walk in ❤️❤️❤️

Love this place. Ive never bought my pot legally it us so nice and all the workers are very helpful in describing and informing me of what to get and what not to. There always happy and professional I don't know what I would do if they weren't around. Probably still taking methadone or some garbage medication I didn't really need.
