Hands down the worst dispensary let alone business ever. how they can even consider themselves helping the community is BS.I'm a medical patient and I have never in my life been treated so horribly by any business. The manager is an asshole doesn't give a shit about anyone The security guards that they have out front are idiots that don't know what the fuck they're doing and they're outside laughing at you. The staff is very unknowledgeable when it comes to products they don't know what the hell is going on and when you come in you feel like you're being processed for jail rather than actually cared about about your product. I am so upset with how I was treated that I'm contacting as many people as I can to let them know that this is the absolute worst place to go to be sick and dying and to be treated like this is absolutely god-awful.of course forget about calling them The phone always says they're closed but also don't forget about the plumbing problems that they have which would also keep them close cuz God forbid they'd spend the money that they take from you to fix the bathrooms.
Horrible beyond horrible these people do not help you at all I had spoken to Maria on the phone and I am shocked that she has a job I am shocked this place is still open rudest customer service rudest staff and inventory is horrible I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone
They receive 2 stars because they have a decent selection of concentrates and flowers, but they are overpriced. The people here are extremely dry; not as friendly as my regular dispensary. It was hard to get a smile out of anyone here. That reason alone makes going back extremely difficult for me. The budtender I had was not knowledgeable about anything. I asked several product questions and he did not have an answer or recommendation for anything. They do not carry PAX pods and the budtender tried to tell me it was because the batteries are overpriced. No dude, you probably do not carry them because Revolution Brands does not make them. PAX batteries are $25. How is that overpriced? Unlike all the other dispensaries I have visited, this place does not sell any other smoking supplies/devices here. I do think that is odd. Didn't see any rolling papers, glass, electric rigs, NOTHING! The waiting room is pretty large. The back where you go to purchase your medicine is EXTREMELY small. No patient privacy whatsoever. Their rewards program is not as lucrative as my go-to dispensary. The online ordering system is nice (and SLOW), but not worth overpaying for products. They did not give me any samples or swag and I spent $500...most likely will never go back here.
I actually love this place. My top dispensary of many many years. They're all very nice people here. Very helpful and polite.
This place really took a turn for the worst recently. I used to come in to New Age Care and it felt like the only dispensary to really care about their patients and getting them the best products. More recently business tactics and focus of staff have been more of herding you in and out the door as fast as possible and pricing products to make it where bulk buying does not give you any type of deal. Leading to todays incident where i pre order something and get to the store (40 min drive) to be told it is 40$ more than what my preorder said all because of a "mistake" on pricing. Sad to see a dispensary that used to take care of its patients only care about profits. Will make it a point to avoid this company's product and locations, and I advise you to do the same; there are much better dispensaries with better product selection and pricing. Along with having a knowledgeable conversation with staff about products or your needs, instead of being herded in and out the door for your money.
The service here is OUTSTANDING! Also I do appreciate that management has made a commitment to only serving medical patients. My quarrels here are two:1.) The prices are high. More than comparable dispensaries in the are.2.) The selection can be thin at times. They favor indicas at a rate of like 4 to 1.Not a bad place to go and when the staff gets to know you, it is always a pleasant experience.'D'
One of my favorite dispensaries in the area. Friendly staff and always have a decent selection. I typically use flower so I can't speak to everything they carry. If you do go, take advantage of rewards points!!!
This is the only dispensary I have been to but I don't understand the negative reviews. I have been a patient at this location since 2017 and although ownership and staff have changed, I have always been greeted by friendly and knowledgeable staff. I think they can improve on being better stocked. There are times they are out of a product that I've ordered in the past but the staff is able to suggest a comparable product. The online pickup is awesome-in and out in 5 minutes.
I like the shop, although the inventory tends to be variable. One week available, the next not. The variety is exceptional, but if you find something you like, it may or not be around next month. Product tends to be good quality, with well measured doses and promised effects materializing on cue. Some of their cbd topicals are great. Some of their edibles very effective pain relievers. Some are effective against peripheral neuropathy and others not as much as yoga. Thc and cbd 1:1 combos in the edibles, especially the fishies, knock me for a loop. I've been going for about two years now. The first time, I asked the security guy if he was there to protect me from getting mugged. I turn 75 next month. I am always greeted by name and treated respectfully. They usually like my coat or hat. They're very sweet.
The best dispensary I have been to by a wide margin.1. Best military discount at 20%- everywhere else is 10% except one other at 15%.2. Customer Service-Very good3. The only place that list terpenes at their facility for customers.4. Will produce lab reports for all products if requested.5. Most revolution products anywhere.Biggest drawback- No curbside service for covid. Now lets address the bad reviews- They were very very unlucky or the person leaving review is the problem.Patients need to educate themselves on the different cultivators, and take charge of figuring out what products and what parts of the products help them the most (terpenes, thc, cbd, other cannaboids, or unknown plant material). This dispensary is owned by Revolution so most of their products are from Revolution.Revolution review.Only company to consistently offer Dragon Tears which is purest concentrate.Only company to offer Dragon Tears in vape.Only company I know of that all products are full spectrum.Full spectrum tinctures including CBD.Many different strains produced consistentlyRevolution is serious about pushing cannabis science forward.Drawbacks-No pre-rolls (pre-rolls effectively destroy your Terpenes and full spectrum benefits)2. Big evil multi-state companyI have been to 5 dispensaries in area, and check stock and prices at 7-8 different dispensaries every week. Most places offer an abundance of different cultivators and strains at the same price but 75% of there products are from sub-par cultivators.Prices are always based on the price the dispensary pays for product across all dispensaries so price is not different except $5-$10 at most. If a dispensary is owned by a cultivator you will get cheaper prices for those products. As a side note: This is a medical only facility. That was decided by the city not Revolution.
Recently "enlightened" and revolution has become very pretentioustowards patients and anyone who has any kind of feedback they don't like or facts, shorted products and no empathy or offers of credit (3 products were short, over $200) while they are some of the best, the rather more recent lack of care has turned me away, sad, has expanded, not put out any more quantity of products, removed bulk options and raised prices more than 25% since 12/31/2019, it's really disappointing. I'm glad their priority is recreational.
I've only been going here for 2 months now, but so far, so good. I like the range and variety of strains and they have much better pricing than my previous medical dispensary. Additionally, they offer a 20% veteran discount, which is generous from what I've seen. Each staff member I've encountered, both front and back, has been courteous and friendly. I've had one "meh" interaction but I don't really blame him, it was really busy. I've asked no less than 6 people pretty complex CBN/CBD medical questions and every one of them has known what to recommend or offered as a reward.Overall nice little place that keeps improving and expanding. I only wish they offered curbside due to covid and since I can't leave my dogs in the car with a/c blasting for too long.
6/25/2021- update: They went from a 5 star to a 1. After bearing though their growing and adding Adult use to this site. It is becoming clear Med patents are 2nd to Adult use. Within their own company and location....Adult use has larger selection of flower/concentrates/vape. Also they have a larger selection of price ranges. Where the Medical side is much more limited and always leans to the higher priced items being stocked or ample stock. As of today (6/25/2021) the Mt. Prospect, has 5 shake varieties at 7g in the adult use side and only 1 on the Med side. Similar with other flower and concentrates. Pricing also is a exaggerated.... For the same 7g shake by same mfg. Standard(normal) pricing is $100 at enlightened, Rise has $60, Zen $80. When a manager was asked about these...all I got was "that is not true" "we do care about medical" Not a apology or no explanation or did not listen to concerns. It was very clear by the glossed over look and bristly nature of the response they are not concerned about the impact their Adult use is having on Medical patients. __________________________________ Perfect medical dispensary! Good rotating selections, knowledgeable staff, clean and prompt.
Refused sale to medical patients. Been refused twice. First was told I couldn't buy a rec item. That was resolved. Now im told I cant use my points I accumulated on medical side without making a purchase giving this company another convenience fee charge I just paid on rec side.. Since rec has opened enlightened is only money focused and doesn't care about state guidelines or medical patients
I've been smoking pot since 1969. 1st, pot is NOT medicine. It's pot. 2nd, paying over $400 bucks a once for pot is an absolute rip off. If you have a medical card, Illinois allows you to grow 5 plants at a time. With a minimal investment you can grow and harvest about 4-6 ounces a plant using auto flower seeds and have the best pot in the world in 12 to 16 weeks. 5 plants will get you 20 ounce's easily. I've grown and harvested over 20 varieties in the last year at an average cost of about $30 bucks per ounce (after initial investment/trial an error, etc.). You will never buy Illinois pot again run by big time politically connected investors and never have to see some clueless kid with a nose ring tell you about "medicine" at $60 bucks for 3.5 grams. Take the power back. Grow your own.
The parking was good and there was no line to be had. That could be because it was the worst dispensary I've ever been to super cold experience, they take walk-ins but seem to have no clue about the products they're selling nor can you see a picture of what you're buying. The lady immediately got an attitude with me and told me I can go online. I just feel like online stores should remain online and a store you walk into should be a personable experience with a knowledgeable person
I had never been to a dispensary before and have been a smoker for a long time. A neighbor told me about this place and I was shocked to find out about it. I placed an order from my pool and quickly went to collect my extract. The staff was super amazing and knowledgeable and friendly. Everyone of them. Super cool facility and even better people. Thank you for making it awesome. I’ll be back for sure. Next time for much more than one gram.
