Use to have one or two decent strains.. strictly carry boof lately. Even the bud that looks good or tests high is trash once ground up. Go elsewhere. I just don't understand the need to carry trash bud when there whole website claims they have the best flower in Massachusetts - couldent be farther from the truth. Staff friendly and actually knows there stuff which is why I give 2 stars. Location is also immaculate one of the nicest interiors of a dispo in the state. Shame the quality of flower doesn't match. Maybe they need to make back there money to pay off how nice the location is?? won't be going back.

Staff always extremely helpful in person or on phone. Selection varies so sometimes I end up waiting for what I need to come in to stock, but I wait because I like how they treat me. Prices are similar to competitors. And...it's easy to drive oe walk.

First impression - very good customer service and beautiful decoration inside. A wide variety of bud is showcased in the waiting area between the lines. There is a lot of sit down space which will be interesting to check out after the pandemic.*Recreational only* So, if you have a medical card you will still be charged tax. (e.g. a $50 1/8 will cost $10 tax; 20% in Massachusetts.) This is an unfortunate downside if you have a medical card. They said that there are no plans to offer medical later either.Prices seem normal for Mass, although I've seen more competitive prices elsewhere in the $45 range. (But I think medical rates might tend to be lower...) If there were deals for new customers (maybe that's what VIP is?) I would give this place 5 stars. We'll see what that's like and I'll update here.There's a lot of parking space and a rack for bikes out front. It's accessible and spacious.

** CONSUMER WARNING **I was doubly ripped off here and am sharing this event so you are prepared if you go to any of these CASH ONLY GreenStar stores...My husband and I were in this store on Friday, 7/16/21, and checked out at 7:11 PM with  a young lady with purple hair in double pony tails on top of her head. (Customer Experience #59758 on receipt).1. We ordered two packs of  Midnight THC pills ($45/ea) to help with sleep issues, and two packs of the Blackberry Hexies ($6/ea). When we got home, I noticed the expiration date on the Hexies was JULY 25, 2021! Since we don't live nearby, it was not possible for us to return these easily.  I am furious!  This is so harsh, to sell us stale products. 2. My total purchase came to $102.  There was a Cannabis tax charge of $20.40, bringing the total to  $123.40.    3. Again, this is a CASH ONLY business.  The young lady who was helping us said, "Your total for this purchase is $143.40."   Due to the fact that we were on our way to dinner, perhaps low blood sugar, I did not check the receipt as I normally would with a credit card purchase.  MY BAD: I did not do the math and add up my purchases as I usually do.  So I  just handed over seven twenties and a few singles. She gave me change.  I never looked at the receipt.  Normally, with a Credit Card purchase, you need to SIGN THE PAPER and at that time and check that it is correct.  She did not give me the receipt - it was in the bag with the products - so I never saw it until I got home. She scammed me hard.That night, I felt so violated and angry by this transaction.  Yet I am 100% accountable for not checking the expiration dates and for not checking the receipt before I handed over $143 dollars.  This disgusts me, and I will not return to these stores. My only turnaround is to write this review and help others not BE SCAMMED at these stores.FUN FACT: Upon checking the Cannabis Tax nationally, I learned that Maine's Cannabis tax is only 10%.  We have family there, so from now on, we buy our THC products in Maine!  Respectfully submitted, Lisa W.

GreenStar is my favorite dispensary so far that I've been to both rec and medical. Great employees great products.

Friendly staff, normal pricing, fantastic selection of products. The inside is really cool, lots of local art and a piano player playing soothing tunes while you shop. Very clean dispensary and I'm excited to go back. It's awesome to have a dispensary in Maynard and a great one at that! Support your local businesses and be sure to visit Green Star Herbals when you are in town! 10/10!

Top Tier. I mean honestly top of the line menu, best I have seen on the East Coast. Full display so you know what you’re buying before. Jeff picks out the best buds for the menu and always gives a good recommendation when you walk in. Pete and his sales team do a real smooth job pointing me in the right direction each time. I think they should add on a bar or a pastry shop with a nice flat screen TV but that may be asking too much! Thanks GreenStar!

I was helped by a slender woman with glasses and long dark hair but I don’t remember her name. She was certainly not the “Andrew” referenced in your text. No doubt he is a fine fellow but slender gal is the object of happy customer vibe. Her knowledge of your products is expert and her advice was extremely helpful to me. If cloning technology becomes practical, I recommend that you staff all your locations with copies of slender gal. I can offer no higher praise.

My guy Andrew is always super energetic and willing to help out! Every time I walk in he has a smile on his face and is ready to have a great conversation all as he prepares my order! The vibe and staff are unmatched compared to other dispensaries in the east coast. GreenStar Herbals is the closest thing you’d get to a West coast experience, even the smoke is somewhat close to the smoke out west!! Highly suggest this spot and again, my guy Andrew does a very very good job at making you feel at home! Cheers everyone ??
