Still having issues with their products being out of stock, but overall service and manner has improved. When I asked for a specific product (that was out of stock), I was offered other comparable options this time. When the products recommended turned out to be more expensive than the staff had recalled, he brought the price down to what he quoted. I thought that was a very customer-oriented move. Thumbs up on that one, I wish I had caught the guys' name. Seems they've gained a larger selection of edibles as well which makes me very happy :)

I was in search of a CBD lotion and when I got to the bud hut I was greeted by King who was so kind and helpful in my search. He was very informative and knows his stuff. I was so impressed with how happy and kind he was, I will definitely be back for more!

YO BUD HUT MANAGEMENT listen. I give you 5 stars because the staff here is AMAZING and they work their BUTTS off I see them running around like crazy every time I'm in here. That being said why do you only ever have one poor person working during high traffic times or honestly ever? Maple valley is a thriving community and you are the ONLY store near by so you will always be busy HELLO!!! Errybody love weed. It is so unfair to your staff and your costumers to have 15 costumers in the store and ONE EMPLOYEE helping everyone. And a lot of people are new to smoking and you have a lot of old customers that ask a lot of questions and if you want to give your costumers a good knowledgeable experience you have to staff in order to handle your rush hour. This is coming from someone who used to manage a busy restaurant so I'm not an idiot I understand business but just a warning you lose business when the customers have bad experiences and long waits because you are understaffed. That being said this is a great store but ALWAYS UNDER STAFFED

I thought I had left a review and even just embarrassed myself telling Andrew, (from Florida in case there's more than one), that I talked him up on here! I must have spaced, although it might be on Leafly. Well, to top that I forgot to throw my change, a five, in the tip jar, which having served in restaurants for more years than I will mention makes me feel absolutely criminal for spacing on that! If Andrew sees this please forgive me as I really did super appreciate the excellent service and will bring you a Christmas gift if you can share on here a good time for that to occur. I've been going here for a while now and randomly go in one day and their cheap ass phone app couldn't read my drivers license and then they deny me service. I will never go back to them. 420 in Covington is way better quality and better selection.

The sales people have no idea what they are selling you. I asked what was a good sativa and the sales person said "i don't know i don't smoke sativa." Like what? I went in a second time couple weeks later. Asked if they had any super lemon haze and had no clue what i was talking about. I had to look for it in the glass cabinets  and point it out. How do you not know your products? If i had a sales job here i would blow business away here. I would know exactly how to talk to customers and how to sell them product and be happy and want to come back. On top of that the weed i ended up getting the last two times here were extremely dry and i felt didn't help me at all. Also they have like almost too much weed at this store. I feel its all been sitting for a long time that's why its so dry and just crumbles... I would avoid this place. Much better stores else where.

Just opened. Huge store!! Tons of product on hand now, cant imagine how much they will have when its filled.  Staff was really friendly. Its close to home and will be a regular stop for me.

The employees were super rude. I waited at the counter for several minutes while they helped other people and they continued to blatantly ignore me. They helped other people who arrive after me without ever acknowledging me. It was my first time in and I could have used some guidance. I will not be returning. Super unprofessional.

i'm a fan of the employees here, specifically Josh, Alyssa, and Pops. these three -- in the way of knowledge of strains and other fun cannabis facts, are incredible. i never have a bad experience when my fave bud tenders are around! Alyssa never fails to pick the BEST cartridge for my vapes. Pops always gets me the best joints and he's got a lot of knowledge pertaining to how to smoke to get the most for your money and for the experience, which i love!!! and josh manages the store and is SOOOO personable and kind, and he can always answer my questions or address my concerns when they arise! i can always count on a great experience with these guys. thank you thank you thank you for making the legal-drug-buying experience so awesome for this lil stoner!!!!!

Most over priced store in the area. Terrible customer service. Vendors that look like reformed meth heads trying to make and extra buck selling "weed honey". This location suffers from a greed and low energy. And the prices, let's get back to the prices. The concentrates are some of the most over priced. They have grams of concentrate that was as dark as molasses for 60$. Warning if you use cartridges please save yourself the hassle beyond having poor customer service and low energy, outrageous prices, they do not have a return policy or exchange policy. So good luck if you buy a dud. You're beat. This place gives the industry a bad name. Greed with a side of fuck the customer.

Personally I really enjoy this place they always have a decent selection and MOST of the employees are nice, only a handful only know what they are truly talking about, it would be nice to seem them learn more about their products as many times I have been told they know nothing about a product I'm looking for. That being said my overall experience is great. However, there is one guy who works here who is more than half the time running the front desk. Every time I am greeted by him he questions me on my license because it is still vertical, it will be along the lines like "what's you address, license number, how many 9's in my birthdate. I have seen like guy probably 30 times and he STILL harasses me every time calling me a "youngin" and constantly telling me if I sell this to minors it's a felony and don't litter because the bud hut name is on the packaging and they don't need that attention, mind you THIS is how I'm being greeted in the store. No "hi, how are you doing today" just takes my I'd calls me some name then gives me these laws/rules like I'm some kind of criminal. I go here very frequently and have wanted to find a new store for awhile now specifically because of this bald guy with glasses up and the front. So if you have a vertical ID prepared to be harassed by this guy! I really wish I knew his name.

I want to thank Corin for helping me with picking out some phenomenal flower last night. I love the fact that she is so into what she does and is great at knowing the product that being sold. She is so knowledgeable and kind and helpful and takes the time to make sure that you are buying what you need and are looking for. It's amazing how she can multitask and still be very knowledgeable and passionate about what she does there as a bud tender. I usually have a pretty decent experience here but this last time showed how little they respect and appreciate their customers. I stop by the Bud Hut in Maple Valley about once a week with some friends. This last visit I picked out a couple of products. When I was being rung up at the register the pricing came up different. I asked about the difference and it came up that one of the products was a higher price than the sticker on the bag in the display case. When I asked about the difference and pointed out the bag still in the display case with the price tag on it, I was told that it was a mistake and they would correct it. What they meant was that they would correct the price on the bag and still charge me the register price, not the advertised price. I pushed the issues by informing them that to charge a different price than advertised is not right . They said that they apologized and that was all they were going to do. Even tho the a few employees actually agreed that had it been them being charged a different price than advertised, they would be upset as well. They informed me that they would not be changing the pricing due to it causing a short in the register. So you are telling me that you have no way of correcting a misprice? The price difference was minor, like 12.5% but it is the principle. They do not care enough about their customers to rectify a simple mistake on their part. How can you trust the prices if you are not positive what you will pay until you get rung up?Very frustrating lack of service.

A++. Everything is tested and results are on the packages, I haven't tried anything below 25-30ish% thc by the label but everything in that range has been very good.

I love this place. The staff is super friendly and knowledgeable. I've been here 3 or 4 times and was very impressed to see a wider variety of products each time I have been in. As a medical patient I have very specific needs and the staff is always patient and helpful.  I understand by law they can not advise on medical usage however they offer full strain and potency information more so than dispensaries I have used in the past. Best of all they offer a military discount!!

Really unhappy! First time I bought a cartridge that did not work I did not keep the receipt so I knew I would be out of luck. Well it happened again. I kept the receipt and packing and returned it the very next day. The manager took my cartridge, confirmed it was full and not working but refused to do anything for me except 20% off a new cartridge. This is absolute BS. Every other store will exchange a defective cartridge with a receipt. Lost my business. Tried Euphorium in Covington, better prices and better return policy.

Good shop up until they fired my favorite bud tenders. Now it's no fun. Many of their joints are poorly wrapped don't burn evenly and now during the snow they aren't open even tho their hours say they are.

I can start off with the positive. I can get some decent flower here if I specifically ask for flower that isn't several months old. My gripe is with the disposable vape cartridges. I have bought 3 from Bud Hut in Maple Valley. First one lasted 3 days with 60-70% fluid left. I had to buy another. That one worked. The third one did not work at all and when I returned to the store, I was basically told that I was screwed and I had to buy another but they offered 20% off as if I was being done a favor. That is some shitty customer service. So returns and exchanges are technically illegal so that was their out. Nobody there cares that I wasted my money. Better me than them I guess. Customer service can be damned, I suppose. Anyone who wants to do business with marijuana industry professionals should look elsewhere. This shop is just a brick and mortar version of lazy stoners that work for 2 bit drug dealers. Waste of legalization if you ask me.

5stars. Selection on point af-they got it ALL- a bit of everything. Staff was extremely knowledgeable, helpful and chill yet very professional. Nice layout. Highlights:-wide/big variety of flower selection, in all price ranges and sizes -big dab, rosin and concentrate selection-some edibles & thc/cbd sugar 10-100mg-roomy & clean space-fun knowledgeable staffWe enjoyed the selection and everything this spot had to offer. Well to start off I like the gentleman at the front counter when you walk in with  glasses he was very friendly but once I walked up to the counter noticing they have no weed. None of the varieties I would usually pick are there. I asked the gentleman if they were waiting to stock up and he explain to me that they're only going to start caring high quality weed which I thought was quite funny because a lot of the stuff you showed me was not high-quality.  The bartender that help me was  a shorter guy definitely not enthusiastic basically told me that the weed I wanted was crap. Good luck with not caring average price weed this will be  my last visit.

As noted by others, their menu is pretty much useless. My wife goes by the place during her commute, so I've asked her to stop in at least three times. To help prevent confusion on my wife's part, I cut and paste from the Bud hut's OWN online menu. Trust me, that is a total waste of time, and has occurred over and over again. Case in point- yesterday I asked her to pick up two different sativa's, and two different edibles to give a try. All were listed on the website. So out of 4 items, they had zero. They substituted and my wife didn't know better, because they appear to only concentrate on THC levels, not strain. She brought home three products, one which was an Indica, the other two were at least sativa hybrids. NONE of the products were listed on their website. Bait and switch, or just extremely poor website menu management? Your guess is as good as mine. Given they have 10 locations shown on their website, you'd think they could take the time to update their menu, or just forget providing the useless link. I guess they figure customers will simply forget how their menu is continuously screwed up/inaccurate and given the product they sell, I guess that's not an unreasonable assumption! Anyway, they do have product, and I'll continue to shop there due to the convenience of a location near me. That said, just forget about relying on their website.

To start off, I'm a MAJOR stoner. I have diagnosed PTSD, severe anxiety and depression, and marijuana helps more than any prescriptions I've taken. Thus, I spend hundreds (at least $100-200) every week. I was so unhappy with my first (and last) experience yesterday that I've written reviews on Google and Leafly as well. Rarely do I go through such lengths regarding a bad experience, but this is a WEED store! There's so many that have popped up in the area, there is NO excuse to have crappy and rude service. I went here because when I worked as a bud tender myself, my coworkers talked about how cheap it was compared to the store I worked at. A year later, I finally decided to check it out.The blonde lady in front who checked my and my boyfriend's IDs was super nice and friendly. It's MUCH bigger on the inside than it appears on the outside. That being said, why not a larger flower and concentrate selection? I browsed before being approached by a bud tender, and was unenthused with the varieties. I specifically wanted THC/THCA powder, but the closest they had was hash powder (which was still a good compromise). The bud tender could have been a bit more knowledgeable, but he was very nice and friendly and tried to be helpful. What ruined my experience was the cashier (who is a bud tender as well, I'm sure). He was a somewhat tall, thin-average build guy with thin brown hair that was short to short-medium in length (he kind of had it swept across his forehead). To start with, he looked like he wanted to be ANYWHERE but this store, but I try not to judge based on initial appearances. When he started checking me out, I tried having some idle friendly chit chat. Apparently, this guy wasn't interested in being friendly, since he completely and totally ignored me even when I asked him a simple pleasant question (I asked him how he was enjoying the beautiful weather recently). I figured he might be new, or he might just be really really concentrating on scanning those barcodes.He got exasperated and visibly frustrated when I asked him to repeat the total amount for me, since I didn't hear him initially. $96 for an eighth, 1 gram of hash powder, and two hash prerolls. Not the best deal but not the worst, and a small order for me. I gave the $4 as a tip (he watched me give the tip but didn't acknowledge it at all, which made me feel really awkward). The tip was definitely for the bud tender - not this dude.He asked me if I wanted to join their rewards program and handed me a tablet to fill out off to the side. I was finishing up (not done yet) when he yelled "OKAAAAYYYYY YOU'RE DONE!!!" I thought he was talking to the customer he was cashing out - not me, because why would he yell at me?I finished and was watching it load my information, making sure I did everything correctly, when I hear him, even louder, yell "YOU'RE GOOD..... YOU'RE DONE!!!!" I look up and he is leaning my direction, less than 3 feet away from me, yelling AT me! WTF?! Not only is that incredibly rude and intimating for someone like me, but the customer in front of him seemed appalled as well.I gave the tablet back and walked out of the store, looked at my boyfriend, and asked "Was that guy totally rude to me or am I just being sensitive?" When my boyfriend found out it was ME he had been yelling at (he was on the other side of the store and heard the guy yell) he told me to go in, return everything and get my money back. Well, I know you can't return items from a weed store unfortunately, so I just left feeling crappy about $100 I spent getting yelled at, when I could have gone to a store a few blocks from my house, paid less, and the people would have been NICE! Also, having severe PTSD, I trust that going into stores like this that I WON'T get treated this way, because having strangers yelling at me can easily start a panic attack and leave me in a stressed out fog for the rest of the day. Feeling publicly embarrassed, such as being yelled at by strangers in front of other strangers, really exacerbated my anxiety and again, leads to severe panic attacks. So thanks dude! The handicapped community really appreciates your rudeness (insert sarcasm here)Seriously, there's too many weed stores in Washington, especially in this area, to have rude service. Marley 420, less than ten minutes away on Kent Kangley, is my favorite neighborhood weed store, and the people are always friendly or nice (otherwise they don't last!! Go figure...). I'd also rather go to Joint Rivers in Auburn, or Evergreen Market in Auburn or Renton, or even the overpriced Euphorium in Covington, rather than this place. How disappointing, I was fully expecting to love this place.Never again.

Quantity sucks, Quality sucks. I can get a $13 eighth from any dispensary In Tacoma. Eighths here are no less than $27. I would travel to the dispensary in Covington. This one isn't worth waiting in line.

Honestly this place is a RIP off,  but the weed is good, I guess.  The budtender that sold me the weed was pretty cool though.  Usually I wouldn't complain but the guy who checked me out was really rude,  but I can see why he's mad... picked an eighth of weed for 46$ had a 10% discount, used my debit card to pay and was still over 50 bucks lol... I gave the guy 5 bucks for a tip anyway in hopes his days gets better. In my opinion, avoid this place if possible.

Pros: usually a great selection and they always take the time to answer questions. I can go in and know I'd like an indica dominate hybrid pre-roll and they can point me in the direction of what they have that meets those standards offering me a variety of price ranges. When I'm in the mood for flower and not a pre-roll they handle it the same way. If I go in uncertain they usually point me in a great directions. The staff is friendly and mostly knowledgeable which is nice.Cons: no menu selection online or on the Leafly app which is a big downside. I know what I want when I go into another dispensary in Renton because they have the menu online. They have offered more than once that I could call and they could let me know but I don't want to do that. The staff also looks to have a high-ish turnover. The break down: if you know what you want, like a specific strain they might have it. Go in with an open mind and a general idea you'll likely find something. If you want a specific strain you might have better luck find it at another local dispensary and go there. I go cause it's close-ish and no horrible experiences yet.

Always busy. Great open hours. Almost always feels understaffed. However the staff that is there are all ver nice. Pricing is mid market level. I've seen the same stuff marked up more at other dispensary's. Lots of options to choose from.

5/19/21 edit- changed rating from a 2 to 5 star based entirely on consistent amazing customer service from Joshua.  The bud tender determines the experience and Joshua is pleasant, informative and friendly.   My last two experiences were not only uneventful (a good thing) but when I got home I had exactly what I expected in my bag. No surprise doubles or mysterious CBD.  Thanks Joshua.  Mad props. 4/2021 edit - I've been a regular customer by default since this store opened.  Tonight was the worst.  I thought I'd stop in after grocery shopping.  The crew tonight collectively was nothing short of rude and argumentative.  (Except the young lady at the door).  Mario tied up all of the lose ends with his snippy remarks and curt attempt at sarcastic thanks for my purchase.  I was so put off by his blatant rudeness to my face that I'm sitting in the parking lot completing this review to make sure it gets completed. I'll drive the extra miles to go to ANY other dispensary in addition to avoiding late hours at this store.  In a time when people are literally on their last pleasant nerve, it's obvious that Mario is opting out of any pleasantries even when being

After giving a 4 star review for being my go to spot 3x or more a week the last year it's about time to hit another store until bud hut budtenders get back on their game I've gotten home to find at least 1 or more wrong products I didn't pick out. Nothing worse than getting home to smoke with b.s. in your bag. It's even bigger b.s. when it's like the 5th time in 2 months or less.
