used to go here and it was always disorganized and a long trip but one time i had a terrible experience with Thomas (an employee) who shorted me $10 (pretty sure on purpose) after he "forgot" my order for an hour and a half and had to get another employee to help me. he never ended up apologizing either.
Seen a billboard for Meds Cafe. We checked it out online and thought we would give it a try. Online instructions for ordering and curbside pick up were very clear. When we got there to pick up our order they were very busy. We thought for sure we would be waiting a long time but we did not. We pulled up, got our order, paid, and left within 10 minutes. Staff was very friendly and prices were very reasonable. We will for sure be back!
I live right outside of lowell. It is soooo convenient to have a shop so close. Pretty good variety too, they did not disappoint. The place seems packed all the time, so I have been going on sundays when it is slower. Usually, never a wait.
You need to make your hours more CLEAR and BOLD by stating somewhere on your site that you technically can't take an order after 8:55pm or a little before that because by the time you put it in the system and get the order ready it would be after 9pm.... You have to understand people drive far to your business so therefore you should give them the BEST experience or at least want to (and if you don't think you should because you're one of the only recreational places near GR just wait). I am all for following the rules and if they are so strict and you can be shut down if you serve after 9 that needs to be stated multiple times on your website.... You are technically not open until 9pm. I got there at 8:54pm and you decided to help someone who pulled up AFTER me who had already ordered and was just picking up so I couldn't order. I NEVER leave reviews ever and if I do they are NEVER negative but this was unacceptable.
Good products. They did try to overcharge us $30 so I recommend knowing your total after taxes in order to advocate for yourself. Otherwise, very nice customer service.
No organization to the curbside pickup. You could pull up and park before they open, be one of the first ones there, and sit there And watch the person taking orders not only skip over u to get your order... they will fulfill others orders and continue to miss you. (On top of that have given us the wrong order multiple times) This has happened more than once. If you bring it to their attention they get snoody. (Watch out for the guy that wears the tie dye shirt and going bald)Plan on waiting in you vehicle for 40 plus minutes. We used to be regulars but not anymore. Would rather drive to Lansing for better service.
Love love LOVE this place. The process was smooth & organized and the staff is super friendly & work their butts off. 13/10 I will be back with my friends!
Good quality. The only bad thing is there just isn't a great system of service. I'm sure the pandemic has a lot to do with it but it would be nice if cars were given priority that get there first. If you're not in a 'prime' parking spot- a lot of other cars who pulled in after you get service. I've never spent less than 45 minutes here in the parking lot. I do appreciate all the people working during this time and the safety measures. I don't know what can be done but it's just something I've noticed the four separate times I've been.
We waited for an entire hour for curbside pickup after we had placed an order online, followed up with a text (per instructions) as well as through messenger, and even though 3 different staff members came and took our order throughout various times during this wasted hour, we never once received the product, much less even a quote for the product. We drove a half hour here and sat for an entire hour upon arrival, watching as others came and went with their product even though they arrived much later than we had. After making a complaint about the service, the obviously annoyed staff member says, "Well we're the only place like this that is open, so sorry guys!" People have gotten their product forever without these shops in existence, so no - you're not the only option for us, we had merely thought we'd give a shop a try for the first time and obviously that was a mistake.
I think it'd be a good idea for them to plot off parts of the parking lots and assigning those plots to certain employees. Product is good and they're always friendly, you do have to wait a bit sometimes tho because the curbside pick up is a bit disorganized. No offense to them, but I can't tell that their bud is head and shoulders different/better than other dispos. However, they have a lot of different edibles that are both potent and taste great. Have patients, they'll hook you up!
By far the absolute worst dispensary in Michigan. Overpriced for poor quality and they put the wrong amount in my order. I will never be giving them business and will tell others to do so as well.
Accused me of trying to buy weed for my underaged friend in car when I couldn't remember the name of the product and asked what it was. Budtender was extremely rude for no reason when they were going to sell products to me anyway. Also told me something that was on their website didn't exist when it was clearly posted on their menu. Absolutely ridiculous. I was just freshly 21 and didn't want to go by myself. So disappointed in this "dispensary".
Slowest service ever. I waited almost an hour in the parking lot for curbside service for one item. They have no way to track the order that people arrive in so cars that arrive later often get served first. Then they guess at how much your total will be and have to come back out to the car to collect more money. Very disorganized and a complete waste of time.
Got robbed by my "budtender" here. Paid $225 and when I called to address it I was told "they arent giving me anything free" NEVER DID I ASK FOR ANYTHING FREE!..I would most definitely NOT recommend.
If anything the organization here has gotten worse. Ridiculous wait times in the parking lot as well as every car around me getting served before I was despite my being there before them. The car next to me got their order, left, another car got their order and left all while I sat there and I had already put my order in via online.
They are doing their best during COVID. Products are great and they are being careful, not slowing people in the store and everyone wearing masks. They are only doing curbside service which understandably can be a little hectic but the products are well worth the wait. Side note- wear a mask when they come to your car... be decent.
I tried this place after driving all the way to a Muskegon dispensary several times. The online ordering process is easy although I did get an error reading after I ordered so started over. I like how you can pick a timeframe for pick up which I would guess helps eliminate a backup of customers like I've seen at the Muskegon dispensary. I received a phone call shortly after I ordered from them saying that I had placed two duplicate orders and they were checking to make sure that was correct. I explained about receiving the error message so they cancelled one order. I arrived at the very easy-to-find location and parked in one of the clearly labeled spots. Someone came out wearing a mask, checked my ordered on her iPad, checked my license and took my money. She placed a small placard on my windshield so other "budtenders" would know I'd been helped. She delivered my order and off I went! All in all a very easy and organized experience and I highly recommend this place and will be back!!! For those complaining about high prices I say be happy this is legal, available, and easy.
I could overlook the prices if they had actually given me the correct stuff that I ordered. Also one of the things they messed up in my order gave me an awful panic attack so that sucked
So my opinion is going to be skewed for a few different reasons, but here's my honest review. Staff is always friendly, never rude. Organization of car side pickup is a bit messy but it isn't going to stay forever, like this review is going to, so it wouldn't be fair to knock them for that. The price is my biggest gripe, but with recreational still being in it's baby stages for MI, we can't be too harsh there either. They're also one of two dispensaries I've even visited, and the other was medical only. Now, I've only gotten a couple pre rolls and a lot of cartridges from them. All the strains they offer are pretty good, my absolute favorites are Strawberry Cough and Rainbow Gelato. They are 65 a piece though, so our first trip for 4 carts and two batteries led us above 350 dollars. Overall, being the closest dispensary to my home between Lansing and GR besides ArCanna in Ionia, I'm glad it's Meds Cafe. Can't wait for the pandemic to go away for good so I can experience this place to its fullest potential (and hopefully see some lower recreational prices this fall )
Every time i come here everyone is in a great mood! Super friendly and helpful. Skyler helped me find what I needed and offered great suggestions when they were out of something. Very knowledgeable!
I always have a great experience at the Lowell location. Fast and really friendly bud tenders. Everyone just has a really kind disposition. Today Skyler helped me. She’s so sweet and helpful and kind. Thank you guys for being there, your products have helped me through some very tough times.
Service here is always 10/10. Everyone is so friendly and helpful. Not to mention the product is always A+ quality as well. Natalie helped me out today and was super friendly and processed everything quickly! Highly recommend trying this place out if you haven't already!!
Love going here! Absolutely every time I go in they always have deals and always have great workers to help find what you need. Got help from a sweet lady named Mary! They didn't have the gummies I wanted, but Mary definitely hooked me up with some good ones. 110% recommend going and visiting med cafe in Lowell!
First, it was a bright, pleasant atmosphere. I was greeted in a very friendly manner, and check-in was quick and easy. I was brought back almost immediately, and Natalie helped me out. She was super helpful and nice, and she definitely made the shopping fun. I joined their rewards program, obvs. Give them a try - they have a great selection of edibles at market prices, and their other products seemed to have the same variety and price point. Definitely worth a 15 minute drive from GR.
