So I'm visiting Denver from San Francisco and I can't NOT visit a dispensary, even if it was just to compare and contrast. I'm used to serious men-in-black-type bodyguards in front of the dispensaries with dark glasses and earpieces. Yikes. I initially logged in "Emerald Fields"-- another dispensary down the street-- into my Google Maps but found my car parked in the Smoking Gun parking lot instead. I see what you did there, fate!I walk up to the dispensary doors, ID ready, and the security guard opens the door for me. SUPER nice guy. There was another customer (We'll call him Dave?) who must be a regular because he starts lightheartedly teasing the security guard and says, "Hey, whenever I come you never open the door for ME," and then some pretty wholesome banter ensued after that. (:I get my ID checked and the woman attending the front desk is SO sweet! She chats me up while explaining the rules. Pretty basic stuff; No cell phones out, no pictures, etc. and wishes me a good time. Heck yeah!So I look around and the products are freely displayed on the shelves. Totally not used to that layout. Dave, the door-opening-jealous-dude, must have seen my confused face so he briefly explained that the tags are used to tell the cashier what products you want. Easy!In terms of price, I'm comparing it to $30+ (average) in San Francisco WITHOUT tax (Auuuggghhaskdjfhasdf) so I don't see this place as expensive. I'm browsing what they had and Travis (Did I get your name right?) comes up to me and, from start to finish, is unbelievably helpful! He completely describes the products to me and even goes out of his way to look something up if he isn't 100% sure.Anyway, the people who work here AND the customers are all unbelievably nice. People are happy, nice, and respectful. I could not have asked for a better experience! Will absolutely recommend this place to all of my friends! (:

This dispensary definitely has the best deals on edibles. They sell 3 packs for around $43 (out the door), equating to about $14-15 a pack. At other dispensaries I end up paying around $25 per a pack. I am super loyal to the Dixie brand edibles and have been hesitant to try anything new, for a long time. But, I ended up trying SGA's very own brand of edibles that they make to compete with Dixie. I tried the tasty strawberry margarita indica and I was really impressed with how it got me higher than Dixies. Taking 50mg of SGA's edibles was the highest I've ever been from edibles and even 30mg gave me a good high. Unlike some other edibles on the market, SGA's brand is definitely potent and well tested. Kendrick at SGA introduced me to their brand of edibles and took the time to answer all questions about how they make it. I recommend trying their edibles and definitely taking advantage of that full time deal. Thanks to SGA, I no longer waste excess money on edibles, given their fair price.

Amazing staff, Matt R was great. Very helpful and informative. He answered all my noob questions with patience and clarity.  The store is very nicely organized, very clean, with a nice selection of product.  I'm very happy that my first experience was with Smokin' Gun. Give them a try and I think you will like them as well.

Literally no less of a rip off than a strip club which is right next door and owned by the same guy. I just went in and asked for THE CHEAPEST GRAM of concentrate and it's $48!!!!!  WHAT!?!!  If you go 5 mins up the road to The Health Center you can get 4 grams of sugar wax or shatter for $55. That's less than $10 more and you get 4 times the amount of a quality product I've been buying all year. If you're not a tourist in Denver and this is a pie spot you're very very ill informed. AVOID THIS PLACE. It's a tourist trap and nothing more. Oh and by the way, that deal I mentioned up the road is also recreational. No led license required.

AlwYs super chill staff, with great recommendations. They go out of their way to help you find EXACTLY what you need.

If I could rate NO stars I would. I don't know if it's typical to show one kind of weed then sell another but I was beyond upset to get home and find that I bought SIX eighths ALL containing a TON of seeds. The weed looks like brick weed I used to buy off dealers on capital hill when I was a teenager. It's not only upsetting it's actually really sad. My MOTHER fought her ass off in this state for years so pot could be legalized for medical use. Threw rallies at the capital etc. My uncle was Ken Gorman. I'm sure not a person in that business even knows the Colorado history of it all or they wouldn't be degrading people with the sales of SCHWAG. What's worse is these people claim their goods are just so so helpful medicinally etc. REALLY?! It's been well over TEN YEARS since I've even seen pot that filled with seeds, hard and just disgusting. Worst $100 I've ever spent in my life. I've attached a pic of a handful. I ended up throwing all THREE KINDS in one EMERGENCY JAR because they ALL had seeds. EVERY EIGHTH. You guys might get away with selling that kind of weed to children who can just smoke but even they are gonna catch on the second their  friends clown them for such garbage pot. I'm ASHAMED that people like you have taken this legalization thing as nothing but capitalism and not a lick of your business can even be considered medical. It's not even recreational. There's never been a time in my 23 years of smoking that I've disliked SMOKING. I highly recommend IF you DO have to buy dispensary weed that you DO NOT give your money to these guys. It's a quick spot for anyone not wanting to leave the strip club you own and you're taking advantage of that as well. It's bad enough dispensaries shave off most your crystals for their wax we don't you guys selling US medical patients DIRT WEED that looks like a high schooler grew it. Find some new growers and ffs take some PRIDE in your business or let someone else. This industry wasn't meant for you to saturate it with garbage product for COCAINE PRICES.

Kendrick was an awesome resource behind the counter. He provided great insight into Smokin's inventory, and certainly made my shopping experience much easier.

This place is a tourist trap, plain and simple. It's ridiculously overpriced. They have different pricing for residents and non-residents...what? I've never seen that at another dispensary. I came here once while visiting CO, before moving here. They charged me $65 for a vape battery that costs $30 at *every* other dispo I've been to. (I paid this because they were the only place open and I was leaving early the next day). If you're visiting: don't go here. There are plenty of other dispensaries with amazing product and much, MUCH lower prices.The only positive is the layout: I like that you can browse the showroom then bring up your selections to the counter without being pressured to buy while browsing. However, this makes it less personal since most places have a budtender that guides you through your whole purchase.

My husband and I had our first visit to Denver and thankfully came across this dispensary. Prior to our visit at Smokin Guns, we attempted to go to a few other locations but Unfortunately they gave us a hard time about our id being expired as of April and due to COVID related reasonings. We came across Smokin Guns thanks to a server we had at a restaurant, and we are happy that we did. They were very friendly, had great attitudes towards tourists and very helpful when it came to any questions we had about both products and about tourist attentions. 10/10 Customer service, we will define my shop there again!

Extremely long wait, rude and unhelpful workers. Went in there and waited 30 minutes+ just to be told that I needed to get out of line because I forgot to grab my tag. Terrible place don't bother going so many better places in Denver to shop at.

I'll give this place two stars mainly because the gentleman at the door checking id's was friendly. This place is super expensive, $40 for an 1/8th is really on the high side. I was sent here by a place called Colorado Cannabis Tours and when I mentioned that's who had sent me and that I could get a discount by mentioning them the cashiers acted like they had no idea what I was talking about. That was fine, I promptly left and went to my usual spot that's open late and got a way fatter 1/8th for $24 because they have the early bird special all day on Friday. Smoking gun has the same piss poor attitude that is to be expected at shotgun willie's, save yourself some money and pride and go somewhere that your business is actually appreciated and your green and purp goes further

This place is awful. The staff was very rude. There's a rule of no using your phone; and instead of explaining it nicely, the lady yelled across the store at me. I've never been to a dispensary where you can't use your phone. I have also never been yelled by someone in customer service for not knowing their rules. I was going to buy some (over priced) edibles but the service was so bad I left to go to one of the many other dispensaries in Denver. What a joke.

Tiffany was an awesome budtender! Very nice and helpful! The store is very well organized as well!

Taken advantage of!!! The Clerk told me he was rounding up on my purchase, so he could give me cash back... it didn't make any sense. I didn't ask him to do that, I didn't want him to! I tipped, would have either way. It was a thirsty / sneaky way to skim some extra cash off the top. Colorado has so many dispensaries, will definitely choose a different one next time.

Each time I go, they tell how products make you feel, but it's a huge disappointment. The shop is intimidating, the people that work there have no idea what they are talking about....you get home, what you bought doesn't even work. It's high volume and they want the money.

Used my reward points to be told they were out of that particular product and "that sucks, hopefully that doesn't happen next time.. I've never seen this in my whole 2 years working here..!" -Francis Little did I know that being a manager means nothing if you dont care about your job! WORST EXPERIENCE EVER TRYING TO BUY MEDICINE!Francis, you're a joke and should go find a different job. Hospitality/Budtending/Normal Public Decency/Human Interaction is NOT the business for you; and in case you read that too quickly or you're "too medicated", I AM SAYING THIS IS NOT THE BUSINESS FOR YOU!PS:  This whole issue could have been avoided if the Baker reward point system was at the point of cell rather than at the point of entry. Just a little free consulting. It also doesn't stop a 12 year old from racking up 5,000 points and sending a random adult in for him. My ID wasnt checked by the doorman until I expressed interest in purchasing product on the other side of the door.

Wow! Went in and the manager had an attitude right from the beginning. Not from here I don't know that I have to present ID. Presented ID after being given an attitude. Then I was told to leave. Literally did nothing.  I'm over 21 and my IF was out of state but not fake. Manager here has bad attitude and other reviews say the same thing. She needs to go.

This place is FREAKIN SICK!! Has a ton of variety and a cool vibe!! Also the bud tender kendrick was super helpful, definitely would recommend

This place probably the most overpriced dispensary in Colorado! (1/8 are all $60+TAX)The even funnier thing is they will only punch your stamp card one times whether you spend $25 or $225. Any other dispensary gives you more incentive for the more money you spend. (It's called smart It's time to start keeping up with all the other dispensaries and the incentives for spending more money.

I went here over the past week. After using their ATM, my debit card information was stolen. This is the only place I've used my debit card in the past two weeks, and the only strange/not my bank's ATM for longer. My bank said there have been charges on my debit card across the country- Texas, New Hampshire, California to name a few. I would warn against using your card at their ATM and bringing cash with you if you opt to go here. Having my debit card info stolen has left a bad taste in my mouth so I wouldn't go back or recommend it.

I don't know how this place has two stars?? It's an easy set up, your neither hovered over nor left unassisted. The man I'm assuming is the owner was very clear and friendly about everything and all the employees were kind and knowledgable. The prices were average but with my CO ID I got an additional 15% off. That's legit for a dispensary open til midnight. And it's a cool theme.5 stars easy

Pros: -beautiful building that feels comfortable. -open shopping layout where you can look at all products offered and take tickets for what you want and pick them up from the cashier at the end. -very friendly staff-good prices-I picked up a new product, the Kief Cola Root Beer, and it was delicious and a good high that gave me a great nights sleep.-they are committed to playing a responsible role in fighting the "drug war" and being part of the industry in Colorado that is so adamant about going about legalization in the right and responsible way. Cons: -they are recreational only, but every other Rec dispensary in town will throw a little discount to anyone with a Med card or who work in the industry. The person I was with is both, but no discount offered. This is certainly the dispensary's right, but I feel it's important to include in a review for others to know. -I believe we were overcharged. one of the strains we got was supposed to be the $25 special and we were charged the regular $46 for it. Maybe the bud tender misspoke when she told us it was on sale, or she just forgot the give us the discount at the point of sale. It was just disappointing to realize after we got home. I look forward to seeing them improve as they catch their bearings because it's a great location and great product. the cashier told us they will eventually have a rooftop smoking patio, but I'm taking that with a grain of salt until I see it happen, because As far as I know there's no licenses for public consumption. (Though as soon as it opens, I'll be there!!)

Speedy service loved it. Hate waiting in line. The older gent at the id check brought a smile to my face when I walked in. Just got off a plane. Went back. The inside is totally appealing to the eye. You can pick up the buds and check them out look at em. Personally I always go to the pre rolls which they had located in a cage (I thought it was cool)Located in front of shot guns I find the location fun and convenient. Want to go back again soon (:

I can only assume anyone who shops here is from out of town. This is BY FAR the MOST expensive place I have ever purchased weed. The only reason I went in was because I had Google mapped it and did not know what a pretentious, hipster desuchbag place it was. By the time I realized it was too late and I was already there. Eighths for $60??? I was planning on buying waaay more but when I realized how absurdly expensive it was (and it wasn't anything special) I bought an over priced gram ($14!! for a gram!) and left as quickly as possible. People, do your research. There are probably 5-10 places way less pretentious, WAY less expensive, and within 3 square miles of this place. Real Coloradans don't go here!

Finest, cleanest and friendliest shop I've seen yet. The selection was unmatched and the staff was extremely helpful. We were able to get crackers, flowers and they even had hash laced pre-rolled joints.Very easy access when you are in the Denver area be sure to stop by and pick yourself up something special!

My first time ever in a dispensary on my first day in Colorado!Will say at first it was a little overwhelming but they have a real simple, buyer friendly set-up.Amazing deals however I did come on Valentine's Day.Staff loves what they do and it shows when they talk to you.

This place is awesome, after a wack experience at emerald fields I immediately came here located just up the street. I was lucky enough to be approached by Lena while browsing around. Find Lena!! She is a boss lady with an incredible knowledge for cannibas and can recommend herb for any particular reasons such as relaxant, stress relief, body pain, anxiety, etc! I would've likely chosen a familiar strain name as opposed to a strain that could actually benefit me for my particular needs and lifestyle had Lena not approached me with a smile aiming to guide and help me. Feeling super grateful and uplifted for her help!

My favorite dispensary in Denver, the theme of the place is cool as f**k!The 99$ ounces and member discounts are insanely cheap compared to almost all dispensaries I've been to. 4 stars because I tend to find huge stems in every other half ounce bag I get. Great dispense, Great workers, Great weed! Highly recommend it.Its also by a strip club so.... Do what you want with that information

Good dispensary store, the prices are high that's why I don't give it 5 stars, but they have a good variety, it's very easy to browse and look for what you want, it's nicely organized and the decoration goes with the name of the place.

This place is huge! It blew my mind with all the creative options they have; anything from weed to cola to sensual oils!! You guys won't be sorry, this is one of the largest dispensaries I've been to with something for everyone. Also, the staff is very personable and helpful!

Kinda seems like a place for tourists. Knowledge of the bud tenders varied at my different visits. A lot of their eighths are $60, which seems really high. I liked that they had the multidose Dixie drinks, but everything else seemed expensive. I got some blue dream which was OK, but not as high thc as I would have liked. The bud tender told me in the store that he "didn't believe that thc was related to high!" WTF.

Needed to go to a late night shop, since my amazing local one closes at 7.  Decided to give Smokin Gun a shot.  Extremely disappointed, lucky to get 2 stars, get 1 extra star for the friendly staff... but like mentioned in other posts, this is the most expensive flower in Denver.  $72 for 1/8 was what they tried charging me for a random sativa.  Literally twice the price or more of the shop down the street from me and I live in a busy area close to downtown.If you are out-of-state especially I wouldn't recommend this place at all, highest prices around.  Joke prices.

I think their marketing ploy of product packaged in "shotgun shells" and an ol' skool bank and jail set up is a cute setup. With that being said, we bring all our out-of-state guests here as a stop over intro to the high (pun intended) world of Colorado Cannabis. If said friends are not already well versed in the subject of greenery, SGA is very interactive with touch screens at every island so that you can view what your flowers are made of and what is their %. You can also view your flowers in little petri dishes that have magnifying glasses over them so you can see them up close as well as smell them. They also offer Pax machines, candies, waxes, oils, and baked goods. Friendly staff, they often have sales so ask about them, you also get a discount if you have a CO driver's license (I do not) and also a frequent buyer stamp card. Prices are reasonable but you're paying for the ambiance/experience so there are definitely better dispensaries out there with more reasonable prices. Recommend the L'Eagle Eagle (a staff favorite and recommendation!). Puff on!

Really fun experience! I love the freedom of being able to walk around and look at all of the products. My favorite part was that they have tables with jars and magnifying glasses so you can really see what you're getting and there are terrific descriptions of all the different strains. Staff was super helpful and friendly as well.

Too high of prices.  Left empty handed.  Went to a couple other places and saved an avg of $10+ or more each item!

Best dispensary around! They have everything you need. Its a very relaxed atmosphere and will take their time to educate you on all the products. Come to this spot, you wont regret it!

HORRIBLE customer service from the cashier. I went in because of their ad on the radio for 15% off if you show your Colorado ID. I had about $130 worth of product, which is a pretty consistent purchase for me on a regular basis. I got there about 655. I was advised that they just changed their promotion to before 7 to get it but since it was my first time and the only reason I stopped was cause off the discount to mention it to the cashier and she'd honor it. NOT only did she refuse to honor it, she got down right rude about it. I didn't purchase anything. There prices even with the discount are more than anywhere else. First and LAST time I shop there!

Everyone was so friendly in here. Upon arrival Michelle greeted us and showed us inside and once upon inside Brittany was very friendly & knowledgeable about everything. Very patient as we bombarded her with questions. Very pleasant experience, would definitely recommend for everyone.

It was okay. Pretty nice building. Over priced. They made us pay for a bag to put our goodies in...I found that pretty ridiculous. Won't go back.

Love this place! Here on vaca and so far we love it here. Star sherie helped us out so much both days and she was beyond great. She was so knowledgable and just put out such good vibes. She also hooked it up with an awesome discount, saved us about $100! I would definitely recommend this place to anyone in the area. They're open till midnight too! ;)

Smoking Gun is a great dispensary. Super clean, well organized and knowledgeable staff. They have a great selection of flower and concentrates as well as accessories and clothing. You should definitely come in here right now!

Great dispensary. All flowers are laid out for people to see and smell. The staff was super friendly and helped me chose the best strains. Haven't tried their products yet but it all looks and smells amazing!

I have every right to write a review about this place.  It's too bad they don't know what freedom of speech is.  Unprofessional staff.  Calling their GM mom.  Melissa even told me once that when I get to know her well I can start calling her mom.  Seriously, that was so uncomfortable.  High prices.  They never have new strains come in.

Nice because its open late, but bad quality and overpriced. If you have a choice, wait until tomorrow and go somewhere better.

The most original dispensary I have ever been in!     No wait to check out product and finally found a shop where I feel no pressure. All the info is on a screen for you plus a very knowledgeable Budtender by the name of David was able to help me with all my additional questions. The prohibition theme looks amazing you have to see it for yourself! With 4 showcases of some of the best growers in Denver available at all times. I've been in a few times now and very impressed every time.  I found my new spot! Thanks SmokinGun Apothecary!

This place is awesome! They have so many different kinds of edibles and strains. All the staff is super nice and welcoming. I always get a little nervous when asking about new strains or items because some people can be impatient or make me feel bad for not knowing about certain things. But everybody here was so helpful and patient, they are also so much fun! Even other bud tenders would join in the convo and give their opinions and just joke around with you. Gabriel was awesome!

Atmosphere was cool, i loved how you could pick and visually see everything in front of you. You basically collected tags and brought what you wanted to the cash wrap to checkout.Service was okay, a nice product assortment, but definitely overpriced.

This is my all time fav, their drive through is fast and they always help with online ordering!  Best shop in denver for sure!

I asked many questions and he was super patient. The security guy was also very polite.A good place if your looking for quality weed and friendly faces.

I love going into this place! It’s got a nice atmosphere and a neat set up where you can browse and find exactly what you want. The prices are good and the bud tenders are great and always friendly, Kendrick helped me choose some great product! This is my favorite dispensary I’ve visited so far.

This is by far the best dispensary I’ve been too in Denver which is close to 40. The staff is knowledgeable and extremely kind. The 20s vibe set me right and the 4:20 deals were out of this world. Special shout-out to Brittany who took her valuable time and explained all the specials to me. Her patience is unmatched and for that she is destined for great things! Can’t wait to go back today!
