Down a long gravel road the intrepid explorer will find a hidden gem on San Juan Island.  The Local Dispensary has a clean, hip vibe to it.  Well staffed by friendly folk.  Lots of cool items to encourage your spirit to sail into uncharted waters!  I asked my server for his recommendation for a pre roll that would "help me finish my novel type of inspiration".  His suggestion worked!  My writers block has been banished! Highly recommended.

Excellent customer service and locally owned. Sweet Bud selection. Lots of doobies and even CBD selection. Great pen tips with top notch carts. Keep local's in the business.

Off a gravel on Friday Harbor is one of the nicest pot shops I've been to. Wide selection, and nice people. Probably the only option on the island, but a good one!

I am an international stock market consultant with severe anxiety, PTSD, insomnia, OCD, anorexia, nausea and stress. Fortunately, The Local offers 20% off one of the best growers every single Monday! Just today I literally got $58 worth of premium prduct for around $44. At this point I'm getting paid to get high...I'm not always at my place in Friday Harbor, but when I am, I go to The Local.

Ever since The Local has come to the island they have offered consistent service, unique and rotating products, and a great atmosphere to boot. The Parrot and great music make it one of a kind too. Definitely a welcome addition to the island

The Local is hands down one of the best dispensaries I've ever been to! (and that's coming from someone who grew up in Colorado) The atmosphere is welcoming and calm, thanks to the swanky interior design and the wonderful staff people. They're always incredibly kind and helpful, and take the time to give recommendations if needed. As an added plus, they're also the only local / non-chain dispensary on island - the name says it all! Thank you to the Local for the great budtending

I've been to lots of dispensaries all over WA and OR, and The Local is definitely one of the best! They are helpful, professional, and friendly. They have a great selection that is consistently well stocked, and they also have a parrot (her name is Sally) who kinda feels like the mascot I didn't know I needed in my life. I always leave with a smile!

Extremely helpful and knowledgeable staff. Excellent product. With the inclusion of the loyalty program I no longer have any reason to go to the corporately owned bud hut, plus there's a parrot. Highly recommend.
