A knowledgeable friendly staff, lots of clinical information available about strains, terpenes, sourcing, etc - very professional, amazingly clean and bright atmosphere (first impressions DO matter) with staff that shows their desire to make a connection and build trust. This was my first experience purchasing medical marijuana.  I was unsure and nervous about what to expect. The Botanist team took their time to explain the process and walked me through all the options and which one was most suited to support our needs.  The team was very professional, compassionate and knowledgeable.  I highly recommend this business to anyone who has a need.

Wow, great experience here. They were all so nice and thorough in helping me find what I needed, starting with the guy behind the counter when I walked in. Very nice looking place, and the displays were really helpful, you could see what each item looked like before you bought it. Prices were better than the other places from what I've heard. They also carry products made by eTain, an all women company that's supposed to make real quality goods. Professional to the max, and knowledgeable which is what I needed. I highly recommend them.

Not only is every product that comes out of this place of amazing quality, the staff is beyond the most friendly staff I have ever encountered in a business. They make you feel so comfortable, and their knowledge makes you feel safe. I continue to come back to The Botanist, and I don't think i'll go anywhere else.

The staff is outrageously friendly, helpful and just all around good people. Easy to get to, clean, warm, inviting. Some cannabis dispensaries can be cold and intimidating. Not my friends at The Botanist.

The staff there is ridiculously accommodating and take time to explain. I find that if you are lost, that you can get help here. The kindness starts from the check in to the purchase. I need to add my appreciation for Peggy and all her knowledge and help.

I visited this place twice and called many times. Was prescribed by my doctors PA for insomnia.The first bottle did not help at all even after taking a whole vial & was redirected to something much stronger and had a very bad reaction to it. This is for medical marijuana and you need a prescription from your doctor for it.Very hard to get through to someone like a pharmacist to talk to. I just now to talk to someone called Michael and he told me there was nothing they could do after I purchased two bottles of the stronger tincture.He told me I should buy another bottle of something else but at $65 for each one I think not.His answer to me was what do you want me to do lady!!

This is the first dispensary ive visited, no need to keep looking! Beautiful atmosphere, with an over the top staff. My first visit I was greeted by a rep who really broke down every product, use of each, different strains, etc. I was pleasantly surprised as to how much they cared, and how knowledgeable they were. They have no problem sitting with you and going over every detail and answering every question. They dont make the process weird, or make you feel like a bad guy, which I was a little nervous about when I first went in. The prices are high, but compared to others, its about average. NY state has a heavy hand in their pricing, so its to be assumed it will be a bit high. Thank you very much to their staff for making this a painless process! Keep up the fantastic work! I have recommended others from the clinic to come here as well.

Having a debilitating disease of rheumatoid arthritis, I need pain management without taking opioids.   I explained it all to Dana and the pharmacist and they were so helpful and continue to be since I started going there.   I know there is another place, but I wasn't given any time to speak about my condition and was rushed thru, not even knowing what I bought.   I have been able to stop meds to sleep, and also stop the pain meds during the day.  I can't tell you that it will work forever, but I do know that everyone who works there will guide me on my journey.   Thank you thank you for literally giving me my life back.

your out of your mind if you go anywhere else in the immediate area.  Botanist may not have as many products as other places but all of the people who work there are cool. If anything goes wrong they are quick to make it right. I complained about the pen they sell dying within a second they hand me a new one. the discounts that are provided make filing your prescription affordable. all of the people that work there are excellent with dealing with people and treat the customers who come into the store with respect.

This dispensary is fantastic. The workers are super friendly and respectful. The cannabis is always excellent and fresh. I will always be going here.

Sealed product would not take return . Middle aged white lady working at counter was extremely rude . I'm a local business owner and they compared my vape pen to "OxyContin" thanks for making me feel great / never going back / over priced product is mediocre at best / flower is all stems and shake . No nugs mostly sticks. Be cautious they are clever

This was my first experience at The Botanist, and I was very pleased. Asheika  is a very beautiful person, inside and out. Such a beautiful soul. I was overwhelmed by the care that I received via emails and then a phone call before I ever went to The Botanist. I was having trouble getting my MMP card and Asheika made it happen. Above and beyond and just awesome. I was extremely chatty this morning, 5/27/21, because of nerves and butterflies but I was put right at ease by the very charming Dana. She is such a genuinely lovely person. Kind, friendly, funny, knowledgeable and so patient. I had probably far too many questions, as I could tell from the angry eyes of the masked faces of those behind me when I exited. But, Dana never wavered. She was taking care of me and that was clearly important to her, and I appreciated it. She informed me of all of the discounts that are available to me. And, I received one today already because I'm a new customer. That was very cool. The office is located on Route 110, and if you're familiar, that roadway is a nightmare....always. But the office itself is immaculate and positively elegant in its simplicity. Really. And well worth the drive. If even to meet such pleasant people that are obviously proud of where they work. And, rightly so. I wish I could give them more than 5 stars. That amount just seems so inadequate.

This establishment is so wonderful! It is a high end, secure, professional dispensary that has very knowledgeable and friendly staff. I strongly recommend you visit The Botanist for your needs! Every experience myself and my husband have had, we're all phenomenal. You can't go wrong here!

Wow. What a great experience! It was my first visit, and John walked me through every option.The facility is beautiful and the staff couldn't be more attentive and pleasant! I wish my primary doctor's office was this nice and this well run!It's still new, but the 1:1 Green chewable tablets seem to help my nerve pain. I'm looking forward to seeing if that lasts!

Dana, Mike, and Don have went above and beyond to help me understand about the different products offered on the menus. The staff never fails to put a smile on my face, and THAT is the difference from other dispensaries compared to the Botanist on LI.

Wonderfully fresh environment due largely to the professional staff. Everything is as efficient as I could hope for and given the amount of years I've been coming to this location for I can also say there is unwavering consistency. A wonderful experience!

I have been coming to The Botanist since it opened. I have been to 3 other dispensaries since Medical became available in NY. I find most of the selections to be quite similar from one to another. I also know the amount of time is involved in the purchase process. It’s a lot of state government rules that they must follow as a regular pharmacy but they aren’t pills in a bottle and mistakes might jeopardize their business. That being said I have found that they have the best staff I have ever dealt with. They pay attention to your problems and questions with great patience. They don’t rush you while you are being attended to but they go non- stop to provide the fastest possible process for all of their patients. You can tell how a business is run by the interactions with management and they will try to help you in any way they have done a great job operating the business but most impressive is that they have been fortunate to hire some really special people who always make you feel comfortable. I can tell you that if everyone sells similar items for about the same cost then there are only two real reasons to shop is location and they are located along the Nassau-Suffolk border close to the college on Rte 110. They offer assistance with your medical card renewal. They have special days to offer specials and reward points that count as dollars, your purchases also accrue for discounts as well. In closing. Product selection-above average Price is comparable with anyone else Location is south of LIE and north of Southern State on Route 110 in Farmingdale, just after the traffic light on Rte 110 at Adventure Land on the right (east) side from the south with ample parking.
