Best dispensary in Mass I have been to so far!!!!  The employee who helped me was Matt.  He was awesome.  I had been to other dispensaries already so I knew the deal.  What I liked about this one is there were NO limits on anything you purchased (besides the 28grams/1 ounce per day) so if you wanted to buy your ounce all in pre-rolls you can.   Matt was awesome and the facility ran smoothly.  You are in and out in no time.   Even though this dispensary is a bit further for me to travel, I will definitely be back.  And of course, the weed is top-notch.  They have more "name" brands than the other places I have been too.

Friendly security out on the street, easy access, and helpful and friendly budtenders. Everyone was cool and the place is super cute. Prices are high as to be expected, and the taxes obviously- make sure you bring cash, though. Debit cards are accepted with an extra FEE.

Every time I've gone here, the workers have all been very welcoming and they always make sure we leave with all of our questions answered. During the COVID time, they do everything outside. We wait in a tent to give them our orders and wait in a line afterwards for our product. I've never been here more than 30 minutes even in a long line. A lot of staff ensures for a quick check out process.

Trash service awful products they just buy wholesale from vendors they dont care what they put on their shelves awful customer service I voiced my complaint and all I got was a sorry don't come back ahahahahahahaha this is why dispensaries suck they don't care your better off sticking to the black market at least they care what you put in your lungs especially when your spending money with them they want you to come back

I was in the area and decided to stop by after checking out their website. I am used to the Colorado scene and didn't know what to expect in Massachusetts. I was pleasantly surprised. I went on a Tuesday morning. No crowd and plenty of parking. Since I knew what I wanted from the online menu, I just went to the express line and I was in and out with my purchases in less than 5 minutes!The 2 employees who helped me were super nice. The place is clean and professional. Product choices were very nice.I will definitely be back.

Ashley was patient and extremely nice while I dug through my purse for money after realizing that you guys only took (MY FAULT!). He wrote a sweet message on the bag and was an absolute pleasure. Thank you Ashley!

I have gone here since they opened and was always impressed with the friendliness and customer service.  That remains true today with a couple of exceptions.  When I first started going here (before COVID), even with very long lines service moved pretty quickly and I was never waiting for longer than 10-15 minutes.  For at least the last year service has gotten slower.  I've been trying to go at off-peak times to avoid the lines but it just seems like they are either short staffed or are just moving a bit slower?  I know the whole COVID situation forced places to do a lot more work to be able to accommodate customers but it's been a while now and they have their system in place so not sure why it is so much slower now.  Also, the past couple of batches of flower I have gotten have been very poor quality and I've been disappointed.  For this reason I am going to try some other dispensaries in the area.  Not sure of the reason for the dip in quality but I can't really afford to keep buying sub-par product.  Is something going on Northeast Alternatives???

Shout out to Melissa she mad it easy and a breeze plus it was great weed, I was a first time patient and the experience I had makes me want to make Northeast my regular dispensary if it wasn't too far P.S those blueberry lemonade gummies are A1

So I stopped by to check things out and found this experience very easy, quick and to the point. You show your ID as you walk in, They have a small selection of items to chose from, they only accept cash and the taxes will take you by surprise. I knew it was going to be expensive I just didn't think it would be that expensive. Needed to check it out but don't see a need to return (says my wallet)

Unfortunately this place went from my favorite dispensary to my least in a matter of only a few months . They are just obsessed with nickel and dimming you. My last visit was my last. I FILL my prescription every 60 days . I ordered online 2 1/2 of Citrique at $140 each. I get a 20%. When I showed up they refused my discount saying this was already discounted. That cost me an extra $56 . Got home, straight garbage. They got that day but will NEVER get me again. Going to CAC in Taunton from now on. They knew they were selling garbage. They knew they should have honored my med disco. I no longer do business with people who treat patients like that.

I was supper nervous to go to a dispensary for the first time, but I couldn't have been happier with this experience. From start to finish, the staff was attentive and willing to answer any questions I had. As someone who can get anxious over small things, Erik took the time to discuss each of my options and what would be best for me. Discreetly packaged, clean facility, and smooth process. Highly recommend.

I had an awesome experience this week when I stopped in. All the employees are great, they're always friendly and helpful.  However, I got helped by Kayla and she took the time to answer all my questions to help me pick the best products that suited my needs. She was extremely patient and informative.

This is my go-to dispensary! They have the best weekly deals for med patients, and a nice variety of products. Online ordering is always so fast and easy, and even if I don't order ahead, the line is never too long. Employees are all very helpful. Melissa specifically is awesome! I've been helped by her several times and she's great, very knowledgeable and always gives me good recommendations. She's even remembered me the past few times I've shopped, which means a lot since I'm sure she sees hundreds of people a week. Would definitely recommended NEA, especially for med patients!

Overall a pretty great experience. I went on a Friday and it was a bit of a wait to park and then about a solid 30 people in line. Don't let that distract you though. The line flies. I'm used to waiting for good products. It reminded me of waiting for beer at tree house but far less people. The staff is extremely knowledgeable. I wouldn't buy flower because the tax is too high and I have other sources but for edibles and Vapes, I love this place. So happy it exists so close.

First time going here and probably my second time ever going to a dispensary. Efficient, quick, busy (but not overly busy), friendly staff all around. Even their clientele are just nice people. Customers helping other customers understand the process for the first time, etc. Staff members are welcoming and don't make you feel like an idiot if you have a question about their product that most people would already know the answer. Well staffed from the parking lots to the pick up tent. Thank you to everyone there.

It's a little pricey, but definitely easy to access and get what you need. They check your ID at the door, so be sure you bring that and have cash (there's a fee for using your debit card -- no credit cards allowed). Took a friend of mine to check it out, and she loved all of the products she purchased. Staff were super duper friendly and answered all her questions. If you're a newbie, this is a great place to start.

So I've been going here every Friday since it opened and I've held off on my review to see if it was consistent or not but this place is... well it's just.. ehhhh.. So first there is the line and parking, sometimes it's right quick, other times it's an absolute horror show. First you wait in your car, just to be vaguely pointed in the direction of a parking spot because the employees in the lot are either too busy talking on their phone or smoking constant cigarettes. You then wait in a line that if you're cool with them, apparently you can just cut. Just be in a good looking car, blare your music and give daps to the doorman. Ugh...smh.  Then you go inside and this is where it improves for the most part but with one big caveat. The staff inside are great and very personable and exceptionally helpful. If you have a question, they will help you out immensely.  Now the main course, the flower. When they first opened all of the top shelf was consistently over 30% TAC and the premium was a solid 23 - 27%. Now you're lucky if the premium is over 20% and the top shelf over 23%. This is very frustrating because most local pharmacists have 20% at a significantly less price and hassle.  So it's appropriate that's near the casino because you are rolling the dice here

*One full gram on the medical menu was purchased and was given a half gram of bubble hash. If the labeling wasn't contradictory and said both half gram and full gram most likely would have not been given what was owed to me and would of gotten the "you should of checked your purchase before leaving" yup let me just whip out the scale right quick.. I can't

I was proactive and looked up the daily menu online and then headed there.  When we got to the parking lot we were handed a piece of paper with today's menu and nothing on it was the same as online.  So my husband and I made our selections and then he went to turn in the piece of paper and we were told we were given the incorrect menu and had to start over AGAIN.  So finally after the third time we got our order and were on our way.  It was beyond frustrating especially when i'm a medical card holder in Missouri and this place didn't seem to care.  Most places atleast give a medical card holder discount.

This place is def legitsville.  Right off the highway, easy to park, and the line moved really fast.   Bonus points for not being greedy and jacking up the prices like some other dispensaries after the vape ban.  If you do show up, check out Blue Dream and tell em Rick sent you.

The selection is not great. Maybe only 7 strains of flower. they have shatter and different kinds of colds resin and what not but I'm not that big of a connoisseur that I need difference and product type. They didn't even have sativa flower. The wait was long. The fact that it's legal is great. The location is not convenient. It takes maybe 20 minutes off of 195. But it's not worth the trip to go out of your way for. I can't wait till there's a larger selection in Massachusetts. I'm a medical patient in RI marijuana and I'm not happy with the selection there. I know competition in the market will bring a lot more a different better flower.

Medical review; As a medical patient in Massachusetts I have been to several medical dispensaries as well as combined med/rec dispensaries, Northeast Alternatives was probably the most unorganized and unprofessional towards medical patients. You have to wait in a separate line outside while all the rec customers get in and out of the tent setups in about 5 minutes. Once they finally let you into the building you're guided to the back area which is basically a repurposed closet ( forget about social distancing inside ). I will say the only thing this place had going for it was the bud tender I had,I believe her name was Hannah, she was very professional and helped me out with everything and made sure my order was perfect! Thanks to her and the decent flower I don't completely hate this place. Please prioritize medical patients like 98% of other dispensaries do around here, ( good deals but messy setup ). This was a very very busy place and it seems it's directed towards making as much money from their HUGE recreational crowd not the medical patients who have a doctor recommendation to come buy medicine. Please bring the flower and concentrate selection from the rec side to medical also, kinda get shafted on strains compared to people coming to just get High. I may or may not return.

Iv been here twice now and the 2 times iv came here I felt very rushed. Now the woman who helped me was hot as hell her cannabis IQ was lacking. Other than being rushed I thought the store itself is amazing. Great selection of edibles and buds. I'll be going back more often

I have a daughter that works here. She is a Budtender, and loves the fellow employees and the numerous customers. It is a very busy business, always. Prior to coming here she was, and still is, a licensed caregiver in the cannabis industry. From what she has heard from many customers, Northeast Alternatives is the best such facility in all of Rhode Island and Massachusetts!

Very well organized and friendly, knowledgeable staff. I've gone twice and both times had to wait about 20 minutes outside and 10-15 inside. No questions are treated like a stupid question. Parking lot is clean. ATM on site. My go to place for edibles.

Super helpful, friendly, knowledgeable staff. Good assortment of quality products that are reasonably priced. It can get busy but lines move pretty fast. Pay cash, they charge $3.50 debit fee. I typically buy the flower but the edibles are pretty good and my husband prefers the live sugar.

Gotta give a big shout-out to NE Alternatives in the age of the corona virus. They are handling the situation so well, calmly, and systematically. Everyone in line is outside and distanced from each other, and they're only allowing a few people inside the store at a time. Luckily today was a nice day, but prepare to wait outside in the meantime--I was actually happy to, given the circumstances! Staff is masked/gloved but more importantly everyone is acting like humans, distancing and waiting patiently, and it's probably safer to be here than at the grocery store. Well done Northeast Alternatives! Thanks for making self-isolation much more manageable :)

So I've been going to Northeast Alternatives about 3-4 times a week since they opened.   Love love Rich, Paul (out front) who is always eager and waiting with a wheelchair for my husband who had an accident.  Marisol is awesome as is most of the staff! I am also a Hospice Nurse and buy what I consider a substantial amount of product weekly for both myself and those I serve.  I have noticed that on a few occasions when I asked for a gram of "sour tsunami shatter $70.00 " and a gram of "wax" $60.00.  and ended up walking  out with four half grams each at ten dollars more a pop plus tax. I called NE and spoke with a woman who was nice at first but got a little testy when I said this was like the fifth time this has happened to me? She promised that "Kevin" the manager would get back to me ASAP, but never ever did. She also checked for me and stated that there was plenty of sour tsunami grams and wax grams for sale? I said that I feel " ripped off." Especially since I buy in bulk it would seem silly to purchase it in 1/2 grams that also doesn't make sense for a worker to give you something knowing that your bill will be more?  I questioned it twice once with a cute little Chinese Asian girl (who seemed completely baked while at work) and a darker complexion girl with long hair piercings and tattoos, (who also seemed stoned ). She assured me I was o.k. I drive home and again 1/2 grams call again. I'm promised a call from Kevin, nothing.... I really love the place and the vibe is awesome, but business is business and bullshitting people is not cool.  The manager should always get back at least to show respect for their customers and the money that they spend.  I think NE is gotten so big, made so much that they just don't care.  Who can you report them too? I like my weed too but I'm not so stoned at work that I overcharge and make the same mistakes again and again.....

Needed medicinal shrubbery and found a place that was great clean, fast, great products and Lily rocks!  Thank yall

So NE will not recognize the importance of veterans and the help this item provides many with PTSD and other aliments. They do not recognize nor provide any veteran discounts for their adult customers while knowing that MM is not available via the VA. When asked about this I was directed to contact the state's overseeing board, which I did and was informed "oh well, get a medical card for the discount." The whole experience leaves a distaste in my mouth, shame on NOrtheast Alternatives and the state of MASS.

Went here just for a couple pre-rolled joints. Was SO POORLY ROLLED that as soon as I tried to light it, no smoke came out. Tried to light it again, and it BURST OPEN and fell all over the ground and then was taken away by the wind. Waste of money for the pre-rolls. Staff is friendly and helpful but if they are rolling these, or using a machine - IT NEEDS TO BE ADJUSTED TO BE PROPERLY CONSUMED.

Good tree and helpful staff. I ordered some cookies, and peach sangria gummies and they were great.

I have been here a handful of times over the past 6 months or so, and every time I come by the service and options couldn't be better. There's always something new on the menu and always a knowledgeable, friendly staff member ready to help. No matter how long the line is, around the building even, it never seems to take more than 20 minutes or so to get in and out. As great as they are all around, it's really the staff behind the counter that sets Northeast Alternatives above the competition. I highly recommend them for medical and recreational shopping.

Great place! I've gotten some high quality stuff from here that lasts well. However I'm disappointed that the concentrates are sold out and have been for the last week. If they didn't have any stock issues, I would have given them 5 stars

Been to many, many other dispensaries. This one, by far is the best. From the layout, to location, to employees, to product to availability. Always something amazing available! I definitely recommend!

First time I've ever been left class early I go to school nearby and caught it at the most perfect time ! The parking was a breeze on a weekday and the line absolutely flew by. The guy that helped me was so enthusiastic and knowledgeable he really pointed me in the right direction and made me feel comfortable to come back . Great products the bud was wonderful quality exactly what I asked for!

Stopped in today, first time recreational buyer from RI. The 40 minute trek was definitely worth it. Picked up an eighth of blue dream. 60 bucks including tax. Prices are steep but it's a step above what you can get on the black market. The extra money you pay is worth it to get the right strain for you.

Had a great experience here with Rachel G. It's a roomy and chill space and there was no line when I went. Rachel was helpful in going over their options for me as a first time visitor. Docked a star because I'd like to see better ingredients in the edibles. I got the irish cream chocolate bites and they're full of hydrogenated vegetable fat, whey - wish I'd known.

Horrible customer service did a pre order 2 hours ahead to avoid the line and they could not find it even though I had the confirmation on my phone and done this before mad me wait over a hour because my pre order had to be re-done and had to wait additional 30 or get into the covid line this is horrible customer service and covid distancing ins non existent come up with curb side already, when I called they manager to ask why I would have to wait for their mess up I was greeted by a very rude manager that rather get nasty then serve her customers will not be returning

I've shopped here since it's opening weekend and I've noticed a bad trend lately. This morning being the most recent and egregious example. Online ordering opens at 9am with 1/8ths of 2 new strains available; Chaos Kush & Death Star. At 9 am, approximately, I add items into my cart and attempt to checkout, only to receive the notice "Online Ordering is temporarily closed due to extremely high demand." I live close enough to check that there is no long "Medical" line around the corner and then surprisingly, online ordering is available and those 1/8ths are no where to be found, nevermind purchased. My screenshot is from 9:19 am and you open at 9am. Death Star appeared on the website at exactly 9am because it wasn't there last night. I'd hate to think employees are getting to buy up everything first. How'd that go down?

I have been going to Northeast alternatives at least once a week for over a year and a half with no problem. Today I bought a product and then trying to return it within five minutes of the purchase and I had not left the property. I walked back into the tent showed my receipt to the man who I just given my purchase to about five minutes before and he said he give it to the manager. Imagine came back to inform you that I could not retrieve the products because I had left the tent and the product would have to be destroyed. Obviously profit over customer service. Well, I'll spend closer to home now.

Decent selection. Happy to have a dispensary in my hometown when I visit but the outdoor set up for checking in and taking orders feels dead slow sometimes and not even at peak hours. You guys really need more than one person taking orders. You got one guy checking IDs and if a customer has even one question about something OR WORSE they're new to weed, that lines coming to a dead stop for like 5 minutes. You got 20 people running orders and one guy taking them! Come on! The edibles and flower are fire though. My only suggestion for inventory is step up your hash game. The rest of the country is going through a solventless extract boom right now. The NEA mixed strain pressed hash is strong but if you guys had some real good ice water hash or solventless rosin for dabs, you'd be up there with Colorado and California.

The girl that helped me (I think her name is Reid) was the best! I told her I wanted a 1/2 ounce and some edibles and that she could choose what I got. She asked some basic questions like : "do you want it to mellow you out?"... We came to the conclusion that we enjoy the same kind of high, so when she picked everything for me I felt like I was in good hands! Her top recommendation was "Rainbow Belt" and she hit the nail on the head with that one! I just smoked it and it's the best high I've ever had! THANKS "REID"!!!

Victoria was my tender. If I'm being honest...the house was rocked. As someone who needs a heavy hit, I was incredibly lucky to meet a person with such knowledge. Night Terror pre-rolls and GMO x MAC were the final verdict--reached with a bit of advice.  I haven't tried the GMO yet but night terror is something else. It's doing my headaches well; so, I have faith the flower will be just as superb. I hope I see someone just as charismatic and well-informed next time.

Great selection and very helpful staff from the moment I walked in...what more can you ask for!  I was given a menu to select what I wanted in the first tent and then had the pleasure to deal with Melanie G. as my budtender.  She was super friendly and knowledgeable and explained to me in detail the choices I had made to confirm i knew what I was ordering.  Pricing and taxes in Massachusetts are high but that can be expected anywhere on the East Coast.

Very disappointed w the service lately been a customer for about 9 months medical patient for 2. They promote that they take care of medical 1st, this is not the case! they mess around w quantity and prices so that they are the most expensive,the containers are not air tight so product is extremely dry and tonight, a saturday evening,they decided to work on parking lot so it was more than a 45 minute wait instead of doing work on a monday/tuesday morning when no one is there. It just seems like a management issue

Compared to the other dispensaries I've been to in Massachusetts, I must say this place operates on a much different level than other places.Firstly, the space is much larger. Their parking lot is great and the line up area is covered which is good in the event of inclement weather. When you pull into the lot, you drive around the back and side of the building. There's a tent where an employee greets you and hands you a menu. While waiting on line, another employee checks your ID.When you go inside and get to the counter, the person helping you checks and scans your ID and then proceeds to assist you. Now onto the products...NEA has an incredible selection and with confidence, I can assure you that they have something for everybody. I personally prefer the Cannatini gummies which are cocktail inspired. As for their flower, they have plenty of variety and I have no complaints about how it's cured and trimmed - definitely not disappointing.In conclusion, I have no complaints. The staff are friendly, knowledgeable and professional. There's no question as to why they've won several awards.

They have amazing enthusiastic employees who know everything about the marijuana and accessories they have in store. They have great prices for great quality marijuana. I spoke with Richard who is the Supervisor of Customer service. He was very knowledgeable and I was able to relate with him due to having chronic Lyme disease. He answered every question I had thoroughly and made sure I was well taken care of. He went on to explain the benefits I have as a person having a medical card which was exciting. I felt more comfortable with knowing what to expect using cannabis after the call with him. Very pleased with his customer service. He was very professional. Thanks Richard.

Extremely accommodating and always willing to make sure you leave happy. Their staff is so friendly and knowledgeable. I'm very thankful for them. Just want you guys to know how appreciated you are! Just updating my review from a few months ago... Still the best place to get medical and recreational marijuana in this area hands down. I used to go to Slater in Providence for edibles but now I prefer Northeast alternatives edibles and the price is better. The customer service is more involved than any other dispensary I've been to. I especially love Abby! She's always smiling, willing to listen to any questions or concerns you have and give any advice on future products you may want to try. I really need to get the names of other Bud tenders that have helped me before so I can give them all a shout out! Thanks for all you guys do!

I was able to speak with a manager in less than ten minutes while the place was busy. Unfortunately I didn’t get his name but he took the time to talk with me about different vaporizers and their batteries and then replaced the cartridge for me. I highly recommend this dispensary! Quality products and very friendly/helpful staff!

I spoke with Richard who is the Supervisor of Customer service. He was very knowledgeable and I was able to relate with him due to having chronic Lyme disease. He answered every question I had thoroughly and made sure I was well taken care of. He went on to explain the benefits I have as a person having a medical card which was exciting. I felt more comfortable with knowing what to expect using cannabis after the call with him. Very pleased with his customer service. He was very professional. Thanks Richard.

Ive been going here for over a year. They have the best customer service- from the security, to the budtenders to the Managers. Extremely accommodating and always willing to make sure you leave happy. Their staff is so friendly and knowledgeable. I'm very thankful for them. Just want you guys to know how appreciated you are! Just updating my review from a few months ago... Still the best place to get medical and recreational marijuana in this area hands down. I used to go to Slater in Providence for edibles but now I prefer Northeast alternatives edibles and the price is better. The customer service is more involved than any other dispensary I've been to. I especially love Abby! She's always smiling, willing to listen to any questions or concerns you have and give any advice on future products you may want to try. I really need to get the names of other Bud tenders that have helped me before so I can give them all a shout out! Thanks for all you guys do!

Really great place with good quality products. Melanie G. did an awesome job. She was really kind and helpful. The store is right off the highway and is in a super convenient location. Will definitely be back again! ... (UPDATE) So it's been almost a year since my last review and the level of service, variety of products, and product quality has only gotten better. The prices are very competitive and I know I will get top-quality flower and concentrates every time I buy here. Shout out to the budtender HEIDI, who made sure I got everything I needed, made me feel welcome, and had me in and out in less than three minutes!

Excellent service at this dispensary. I had a defective cartridge that I brought back and staff were so pleasant and helpful. I was able to speak with a manager in less than ten minutes while the place was busy. Unfortunately I didn’t get his name but he took the time to talk with me about different vaporizers and their batteries and then replaced the cartridge for me. I highly recommend this dispensary! Quality products and very friendly/helpful staff!
