We are in the midst of a pandemic and I am on the front line.   I've recently been so stressed out that I've begun smoking a little to relax.  I walked into this place : no social distancing at all.   There may have been 10 people in a very small room.  Some customers some staff.   At the cash register a White female was holding up the line by insisting she was deserving of a discount.  We all stood there crowded waiting at least five to eight minutes as this young gal was arguing.   Unfortunately I was in no mood to be in a crowd where no one had masks and accidentally blundered out " white privilege" ...... I am white and I recognize entitlement when I see it but I really didn't mean to blurt it out.    After several minutes the girl paid and I was next in line.   I paid and left the store.  At that point the very young manager followed me out of the store and began verbally berating me .... saying he was offended.    I told him rather than making assumptions and attacking me maybe he should get information.    My point was that gal was exercising her assumed privilege as we all stood in that room possibly exposed to the virus.   The manager threatened to have me banned from the premises.   I told him in a very kind voice .... young man you have a lot to learn.   So I suggest the very young manager apologize to me and I also suggest they get a new manager as that kid had no idea what I meant and exercised a power trip by making a threat

Dixon Wellness is easily the best dispensary I have been to. It's clean, the staff and service is professional, and most importantly they have an OUTSTANDING selection of cannabis flower and other products. I think this might be the first review I've ever posted on Yelp, and I'm doing it today because this place is just that great.

Nice products but I'll avoid in the future. The woman at the front desk was so fucked up on whatever she could barely manage her super complex job of taking pictures of IDs and handing clipboards back and forth. She was legit LOST. Moving at a snail's pace. Had one guy fill out the same form twice. Failed to give my husband back his driver's license. Now we have to drive 30 min back there. I called and said something just now, person who took my call didn't even apologize for the oversight. The guy behind the actual counter was rad, but if this place wants to be taken seriously as a business, lose the person in the front who thinks it's cute to be so stoned she can't do her job, and lacks basic customer service skills.

Friendly staff, but deceptively cheap prices when placing online orders. My order came to $65, but after taxes it was $98  I was told it was a CA thing, but up in Sacramento, tax was no more than $15. I wasn't even given a receipt to document the tax amount. The shop up in Sacramento (Abatin Wellness) shows you the tax amount online, so at least there are no surprises when it's time to pay the bill.

I would like to preface this by saying, this is by far my favorite collective from davis all the way down to Vallejo, Dixon wellness always has good prices and great, I mean GREAT quality products. However, with that being said, the past two times I've gone in there (today&last week) it seems like NOBODY is on the same page. So last week I went with a buddy of mine to buy a pretty good amount of product, but zeke(the budtender)didn't have any knowledge of the herb (dime bag flower) we wanted and he even said "yeah I just like to smoke em all". While that was happening I asked if I could see a certain gram of wax, just to see textures and what not, then I asked to see another flavor, and well when I got my bag at the end of the transaction I had neither gram I had picked outWe go to check out(I always keep my points so I can stack on top of my military discount) but when I asked for my discount, he tried to card me?(which none of the other friendly bud tenders do) I told him the i don't carry it around for fear of losing it and he basically told me"that sucks"Then today my man Jordan who is always such an awesome dude, always willing to help out.  Today I asked if a wax display box could be opened so I could see the texture i.e sugar, budder, shatter etc. and it's been done for me MANY, MANYYYY times before, in fact one of the budtenders told me they place the sticker back more so it can be previewed, buttt Jordan didn't think that was ok, so he goes and checks, the owner/manager says no we can't do that.So here's my problem, it seems like NOBODY is on the same page there, while one dude is showing me wax another says he actually can't. I've has my military discount used several times and they are so nice about it, but zeke I guess wanted to see mine? And again I fucking love Dixon Wellness, I would recommend it to anyone , anytime, anywhere:) but I feel you guys need a communication log.

I would have given 5 stars but the new lady upfront (never encountered her before) was uptight. I usually feel welcomed and chill when I enter but not today. Luckily when I went in back everyone was cool.

Never going there again tax is 32%. It's worth the drive to go to Davis. They disclose the tax super small on the menu and online. I honestly feel played. I will never go there again. Absolutely terrible. WORTH GOING 10 extra miles to Davis.

I was a newbie today! Went with my step- sister. So 2 old ladies in a dispensary! We knew nothing! From the door greeter to the registration clerk and then to the young lady... didn't get her name damn it!.... all so nice and friendly. I explained I need help sleeping and may be facing chemo soon- but I don't smoke or vape!She showed me gummies and CBD oil- which my Oncologist recommended. Explained everything! What an easy transaction!

I discovered this great place a year ago and have been going to them since! The staff is always amazing and informative.  I usually place an online order, but I always find something else I must have when I'm there haha. I was in Friday and got some amazing products and a free sweatshirt!!! I love these guys

called ahead for clones that were dropped off from dark heart that day, somebody there answering phone calls told me that they would put my name on it and save them. i drove one hour for a speciality clone. and at the door i was told take off my mask when first entered WTF...  Waited approx 5 minutes and got past the gate keeper, i was in to pick up my reserved clones and check out the top og. dude behind the counter said the person that told me on the phone that they were not there and that do not reserve them. dang so i took 5 other clones,  next i was interested in a fresh bag of og and dude behind the counter had little to zero product knowledge and zero sales experience i ended up with zkittlez og with a closed box.which was a first buying product and not seeing it first .But the og was very good glad to have it. summary this was my first time at this place no first time coming gift....pricing is higher than the bay area... no product knowledge... being ask to remove the mask indoors not outdoors... and not holding clones...  i am not sure if i would drive past 4 other collectives to go my second time

I try to avoid this dispensary at all costs. I rarely go there, unless I absolutely have to (it's literally like 5 minutes from my house). I always drive to Davis. The shops there are 100x better. The prices there are also very high, kind of shady that they don't hit you with the 33% tax until they start checking you out. Most other places have taxes included in the listed price, you know, so they don't hit you over the fucking head with it. The selection is meh, and yes you have to get rung into the place where the product is. The only places that do this are the black market, illegal shops in Los Angeles lol. You cant even walk into the damn building on your own, a security guard has to open the door for you on the way IN and on the way OUT. just not a pleasant experience at all. Go to Davis and see the huge difference. I wouldn't describe this joint as friendly or welcoming at all... you feel like a fucking crook. Luckily, ibwas told by the very nice and proffered gentleman (who wears an uniform) in my favorite Davis shop that they are opening another one of their locations here in Dixon soon!! I COULDN'T BE ANY HAPPIER!!!

We came in expecting something completely different and were amazed at the genuine concern and empathy of the manager! He helped us navigate the many options for my wife's anxiety and panic attacks and was so knowledgeable about the many strains and the use of cbd. Lifelong customer for sure.

The customer service is great, everyone is really jazzed to talk all day and give suggestions. I've bothered them to see like 10 different strains being indecisive and super annoying and they were happy to show me and were totally cool about helping me decide. Today I came in like I have $28 and I need an indica, help! And Dave J recommended a 5pk of pre rolls of some really fire Trinidad OG for $25. My only crtiques would be its a lil pricey, and that there seems to be an abundance of hybrids and sativas, some Indicas but I would love to see more especially over 20% THC. The staff, I wish I could remember her name but the budtender with shoulder length lovely lavender locks and the guy with a pony tail/low man bun always make me laugh, when I've asked them what should I get I have never been dissatisfied with their suggestions. They keep me going here instead of elsewhere.

I understand the taxes, but the taxes were on top of increased prices from what were quoted on the web site.  Is this an undisclosed weedmaps fee?  I think this needs more disclosure of what the final price is before taxes, since the price before taxes was like 11% more than quoted online.

My only criticism is the tax is a bit high. The products are wonderfully potent though, and the workers are really good at helping you find the right strain. I tried LA OG and it's the first indica that doesn't wire me and gives me a good couch lock. Didn't last long though- I was out in a week in a half. It was good stuff. I need weed to help me with my anxiety and they have good indicas here. Tried northern lights concentrate next and thar was amazing. All other places have been a hit or miss but I seem to get a good hit (no pun entended,) every time I come here. Northern lights and LA OG  are amazing for anxiety and relaxing- it's like getting a tingle massage. I'll continue going here- it's such a good atmosphere too.

Every time I'm here, I'm greeted warmly by staff, they're efficient & very nice. The bud tenders are excellent at helping me find what I need even when all I can do is describe my symptoms. This is by far the most excellent shop. Definitely recommend. Haley and her staff are top notch.

I agree with other reviewers that the staff is friendly. I told the woman serving me that I had arthritis and although I liked CBD or a balanced tincture, I DID NOT want to get high.  She offered a 1/1 CBD/THC tincture which I liked. When asked if there was anything else I wanted,  I bought some cookies.  When I got home I realized that although I told the staff person that I did not want to  get high- both bags of cookies were only THC!  I tried one cookie and used 15 drops of a CBD only tincture I had on hand and had COUCH LOCK.  I called the Dixon Dispensary to return the unopened bag of cookies. ("Big Pete's" brand). They said no and offered to sell me CBD only cookies which I had assumed was what I had originally bought.  Be careful if you shop at this dispensary

This place was a great find. Very reasonable prices and wide selection. It really beats the places in the city because the prices and lines are so high it makes it so complicated. Will definitely be coming back here on my way to Sacramento and back.

Went in today for the first time. The owner was AWESOME! answered all of our questions and was super friendly. Could have a better selection of flower, but I'm sure with time that they will! Price was great also! Very welcoming atmosphere! I'll definitely be back!

I love this dispensary.  Friendly and knowledgeable staff. This place has a good selection of products. No parking challenges for me.

Ashlin with the blueberry hair helped me today and provided me with informational and friendly service. Every time I go there, the door man and the front desk clerk are always smiling and welcoming. I would definitely recommend this place!

I was walking into this dispensary for the first time and noticed the rudeness of the staff immediately. First, they grilled a customer on his parking spot, then they acted incredulously when the customer became upset for the staff's rude and accusatory tone. I noticed below that the owner is now defending the staff. Clearly, the negativity comes from the top. I left without signing up because I can easily spend my money elsewhere.

I went to this shop today, and found to be expensive.  While everyone seems to be well trained and friendly, their prices add taxes on TOP of the sales price.  When we purchase similar products from 'our' shop, the prices are way cheaper and they include the taxes IN the product price.

This place has an amazing staff that will awnser all your cannabis questions.  They have great flower and amazing product. They are extremley friendly and took the time to meet my concerns.  I had so many questions, they had all the awnsers

the staff here is awesome! always super knowledgeable and friendly :) the dispensary itself is a little on the smaller side--meaning the building itself, as well as what they have to offer. they don't have much in the glass/accessories department and i find it pricier than others dispensaries.. but nonetheless still a solid facility! totally worth a visit!

Very welcoming people. They do not judge, and answer all your questions patiently. I like that I asked what they recommend, and they didn't immediately point to the most expensive item. They told you their actual recommendation. They take time to show it to you as well. Super knowledgeable.

I've been coming to Dixon Wellness since I moved to California 10 months ago. The staff is very welcoming and more than knowledgeable in all areas of medicinal use making the experience very easy going. It's nice knowing that they're really here to help people find what suits them best whether it's for pain management, anxiety, or recreational use. I would 10/10 recommend visiting. Also ask for Russell's help if he's there he's freaking awesome.

Im very disappointed and appalled on how I was treated today. Disgusted even. The owner of this place which I hope he reads this needs to learn how to deal with customers and handle situations better. As I walked in another customer proceeded to exit through the entrance which I said " I dont think thats an exit" but Im not security nor do I work at the place so its none of my business what other customers do. Right after this happened the owner comes out and said "dont let anybody out that door"  and after that went on a complete power trip after I called him "dawg" which I understand some people would be upset at but in the past when He billed me out THE DAY BEFORE, I called him "dawg" and there was no problem. After that I felt I wasn't welcome there anymore So I just left but as I was leaving he wanted to follow me and try to get in my face which Is completely unnecessary. I apologize for my swearing but straight up the situation falls back onto the owner. I work at a Five star rated business and customer service is OUR number one priority, here I guess sadly it isnt. And now apparently Im banned from this location because ANOTHER customer WHO I WAS NOT EVEN WITH left out the entrance door. Which I'm honestly okay with me if this how paying customers are going to be treated. Have a good day to who ever reads this. #disappointed

This club is very nice and professional. I do like the wide selection. Dave J was my bud tender and he was amazing. I brought my mom in for CBD oil for her nerve pain and he was able to explain everything so well. We really appreciated his knowledge and experience with the product. Other than the tax being WAY to high. The product is well and I enjoy this club!

This club is  a nice change from the busier bay area clubs. When you dont want to deal with Vallejo come here. Its much nicer

I am an all around first timer, an herbal virgin.  I was nervous even going into an establishment because I have zero idea about anything, however I have had chronic shoulder and hip pain as well as significant anxiety and needed to get relief without chemical medication.As soon as we walked in we were greeted and it only took a few minutes of a wait to get to the back.  We were helped by Jeff - and once I told him I was new to it all, he made me feel comfortable and explained every aspect of each product they have, and helped me make the best choices for my particular issues.  I really appreciated his knowledge, patience and professionalism. Hopefully these products will help me with my pain, and if they do I will definitely return to Dixon Wellness.

Are making people take off their masks upon entering their store. Disregarding state mandates to not remove your mask in public. And when I refused because I am concerned for the health and safety of others they would not help me and asked me to leave.

KEPT MY PURCHASE AND NEVER REFUNED . elias and ariana was very rude employees that lied and said they were manager, and never gave me contact information of the owners, so i could aware them they kept my purchase and never refunded me .

Dixon's is awesome place to go for your wellness good, The staff was very professional and knowledgeable of the goods and Product. The Products and goods at Dixon's  are on point. definitely visit again when I come back to California.

Bud tenders are trash lololol Just go to davis or something!I stop in I'm a connoisseur I explain that to my bud tender to get better assistance and not get sold cheap commercial quality shitAnd I end being stupid and letting this dude up sell me on pre rolls lmao Connected guava/biscotti $18 I took 2/3 hits then set it down straight black ash hard smoke Some $10 purple punch joint he sweared by on the terps I took 4/5 hits of that and set it down What I'm tryna get to is there bud tenders have no knowledge on cannabis & are up selling $28 in joints that smoke SOOOOO horribly and harshAlso who does the ordering for this company and continues to carry products that are not pleasant for the consumer For the patient from the patient needs to be real in this industry ppl lookin for a pay check are ruining what true cannabis is & can be

Update: There is a new collective in Dixon named Highway 80. The selection at Highway 80 is 5 times better than Dixon Wellness and the prices are literally about half.  I can no longer stand on the previous 5 star rating for Dixon Wellness as they are now being outperformed by the new business in town. I recommend Dixon Wellness start using an "out the door" pricing system like Highway 80 offers. My average price out the door at Dixon Wellness is $250 and now my out the door price for the same quality and more quantity is about $150 at Highway 80 Collective.

Veteran Warning - They give you the discount but don't apply it to the total. I went back inside and was told by the ID check-in person and the bud tender that there's a Solano County tax that doesn't show up on the receipt. I immediately said that's a 'HIDDEN FEE and it's ILLEGAL' They both had the same pre-programmed answer, "That's not illegal!!!'. I walked out with my receipt (didn't catch it the first time I went There). I just submitted a complaint with the CA Bureau of Cannabis Control (CA.GOV). Keep your receipt so you can upload it later.

First off let me just say that for the people INTERESTED (NOT ME!!!) in using (or starting to use) this type of medication......S T A R T   H E R E !!!!!!I was.....(I mean I KNOW SOMEONE who was going to try this and went here.)He said as a person who had not "used" in 50 years he needed advise.....The store was RESPECTFUL to a senior!  Professional to a tee!Knowledgeable about their products.......and even offered .y friend who is a Veteran a 10% discount on this and all my future purchases.....  On checking the receipt there is like a certain percentage that goes DIRECTLY to our city DIXON.  Thank you EVERYONE....ALL the wonderful people at Dixon Wellness......

The knowledgeable Bud Specialists that understood the extreme pain I cope with daily gave helpful suggestions of a regimen that would help me live a more comfortable and active daily life. Kudos!It's not just a recreational thing here, there is a medicinal side.If you want support to locating what could relieve chronic inflammatory ie; arthritis of different types and degree of discomfort there is something to be found here. CBD can be your answer versus the use of anti-inflammatory pills with are harsh destruction done to your organs. There are CBD DOMINANT PRODUCTS.Can't fall asleep? CBN can be helpful versus the groggy after math of a sleep aid otc brand.Just be open-minded and leave your skepticism at the door and you may find your true relief awaiting you. Not everyone wants a head-high and the staff knows this, so give them a chance to assist you.Yes, it's not for everyone,  but then again you are not everyone...right?Oh btw....Don't think you can immediately walk outside and open your purchase, security seriously frowns upon this action and will say something to you, I have seen it happen.Be patient or plan ahead placing your order online and swing by to pick it up. You decide your experience. While you're inside making your purchase consider dropping a tip in the jar if you can afford a dollar or two.IF YOU CHOOSE TO USE THE ATM, THERE IS A SERVICE FEE CHARGE...FYIHAPPY HEALING.

The reason why I decided to only put 4 stars, is because I thought that the receptionist could have been a lot more friendly. She was very abrupt, and made my first experience a little uncomfortable. I feel that the first person representing a company should have a more cheerful (not over the top though), warm personality with clients. It wasn't horrible or anything, just something I was taken back by.
