The store is nice, clean, organized. The customer service was friendly and professional. I couldn't pick up my order and they called and held on to it for me. I am new to the area and I haven't been impressed with Santa Cruz so it was refreshing to experience this level of professionalism and dedication. They seem to take their business very seriously. Oh, and, the prices are great!

The place is super cool, amazing prices and I really liked the people who work there. Santa Cruz locals spot for sure!

Friendly staff, and great prices. Although there was a complication with my original purchase, staff reached out of there way to make purchase satisfactory, which deserves a five star rating. Truly great customer service.

Very nice place with great deals. Everyone is super friendly but the security guard looks really scary to the point that I feel anxious just being watched the way I am. But I will still be coming here for the deals and the tenders. Clean place. No Apple Pay so it's cash or you get charged more just to use your card. They said they are working on that.

Super impressed with this new concept dispensary. Better prices and better location than any cannabis store in town. It's pretty surreal to jump right off of 41st avenue and pull up to The Hook. Curbside service is fast and friendly!

The Hook is a wonderful dispensary, not only do they have great discounted prices but they have great customer service as well wearing their masks and ensuring the upmost safety to their customers!! If I order online as close as being 5 min to 10 min away my order is ready every time plus I'm traveling from Sunnyvale a 48 min trip is well worth it for an discounted dispensary!!

Johnny, Johnny, Johnny. This guy is the manager and seriously needs anger management classes or needs a different job. I made an order and one of the bud tenders slipped the wrong items into my bag and being BLIND I could not tell until I got home. I called Johnny and while he had me on the phone he looked up my ID and looked at the cameras and made a statement that I'm not blind if he can see me walking to my car and driving it away. I informed the police impersonator that I'm legally blind without my glasse and it says that on my ID. None of these behaviors of Johnny's is ok. His manager give me and exchange for free and let us keep the wrong items also. Honestly that's the least they should do. Johnny is a real scumbag and loves to push the boundaries. Later that month I made a pre-order online and when we arrived at 7 exactly (closing). Johnny knew who we were so he seriously made my gf beg for service through the locked store front. That takes a special kind of person Johnny. Watch them do nothing about this review also. I hope Johnny is replaceable.

This is the best place in Santa Cruz to get quality quantity and friendly people. I pretty much won't go anywhere else unless it's free you can't beat the prices.

The staff is wonderful and knowledgeable and prices are in my price range especially when you're in a set income this helps so much

The Hook is amazing! They opened at the perfect time since funds have been low all around due to Covid and their prices are the best. They always have something in my price range and the customer service is always top notch. I love that I can order online and it'll be ready in like 10-15 minutes. Pick up is a breeze, only ever takes me like 2 minutes to pop in and grab my order. Once I almost didn't make it by closing time so they called to confirm I was coming or to see if I'd like them to hold on to it until the next day. That's amazing! Customer service is a big deal for me and so far, they have the best of any local dispensary. Always friendly, always efficient. My only tiny complaint is that I wish they had more flower options! There is always something I want, don't get me wrong, but sometimes they have only a handful of flower choices. Besides that, all the product I've received has been great!

Best prices and good quality! The staff are friendly and helpful with choosing products. Ordering online is really easy and a great option for when you're in a rush.

Staff masked, limited entry into store, good on that. Budtender does excellent job exploring menu with you. Be a great customer and at least know what you want and they can help find something to fill your needs.Great selection of products at outlet pricing. Budtender was also very helpful with dates on products and suggestions for different items. Store is small but they have more than enough to choose from. Helps to browse their menu online before you visit, that way you can really build up a shopping cart. Thank you!

Friendly, knowledgeable staff and the prices can't be beat. Get the "Blank" strawberry/dark chocolate bar, it is great for sleeping and only $9 for a package!

This is the worst dispensary I've ever been to. Prices were okay, but inventory was dismal. Never again. I've been to at least 3 in San Jose, 3 in Santa Cruz and one in Hollister. Hands down the worst.

I am a new CannaMed patient. I have been going to the hook outlet once every month since Oct.2020. On all my orders they overcharge on tax, so the prices listed are not quite your total. the other dispensaries  I am a med patient and still was charged excise tax. not sure if that is ok since the hook spouts outlet prices" (Low prices) , But I have found almost the same products elsewhere for less $$. so in hindsight i have since gone elsewhere to get my meds at cheaper prices.

Feels strange for me to buy herb, but when I do, I usually go here. They have a lil deal called " Fresh Cuts Fridays" where you can get a 1/4 of indoor smalls for $25. Super good deal. Other than that, the selection isn't super amazing and I really wish they would carry the Absolute Xtracts gummies because they are insanely delicious. Anywhoo, they have solid pricing all the time and it's my favorite dispensary in the SC area.

Each time I’ve been, the employees have always always been kind, smiley, and so knowledgeable! I feel safe and everything is safely distanced! On my first time here, the helpful Hook employees helped me search for the “Teas” my favorite new consumption method! They didn’t just say go on a website, they literally looked up menus for me and found them for me!!! I bought a complete tin set with their help! The prices already amaze you and the quality is just as amazing! I’ve explored a lot of dispensaries and the Hook is without a doubt a top choice any and every time! This dispensary welcomes everyone and even the social distanced smiley faces are so cute and welcoming!!! Go to the Hook, this is not a drill!!!!! You will be happy and smiley!!!

I deal with pretty bad social anxiety so I decided to text my order and any questions I had, I was given an answer through text! The process was so fast and easy! When I arrived, the employee was super kind and sweet! It definitely helped with my anxiety! There’s only positive vibes in this place and I definitely will be going here multiple times in the future! The prices here are definitely the best and they have great deals! Would definitely recommend :)
