I travel the state of Washington on a regular basis. it gives me the opportunity to try out the various marijuana retail locations I was staying in a nearby hotel and happen to run across The Top Shelf 509 retail marijuana store. The first thing I noticed as I entered was the smell of "killer bud", right then I knew I was in the right place! The selection at Top Shelf 509 is outstanding. The people were friendly, knowledgeable and fun. I was help by Katie, she turn me on to some " Mac Daddy" , she knew exactly what I was asking for base on my description of what I like. No inexperienced people here, they know their stuff! The owners were friendly and went out of there way to answer questions I would recommend this cannabis store to anyone heading to the Spokane area.

My first visit here was not as pleasant as I would have liked.  On my second visit I was surprised at a new crew of three Bud Masters that I had not seen before behind the counter and the two I chatted with were super with a lot of good information.  Retired military friendly.  Very close to WallyWorld and right on Highway 2.  The store is very clean and has an ATM for 3 bucks or the Credit Union across the street for free if your a member.

As a Canadian from British Columbia, I thought we had it good with our dispensaries. But boy was I ever wrong! When you've only seen something done one way, you expect it to be like that everywhere. So in Vancouver we have numerous dispensaries, but there is SOOOOO much room for improvement now that I have seen the light. This place has REAL PHYSICAL MENUS FOR GODSAKE. Weed menus! With information on the various cannabinoids percentages of the specific strain you're looking at, where it came from and when it was grown. Here in BC all you get is a strain name, sometimes not, sometimes you get a thing called "the house blend", which translates to "a bunch of random shit in which we have no idea of the source". People drop off "products" to dispensaries here in unmarked ziplock freezer bags still, sometimes the strain is written in sharpie on the bag. Omg I didn't realize how janky our weed industry was until I saw how American dispensaries operate. And the prices were SO MUCH BETTER, with the quality also undeniably higher. One gram joints of fantastic indica strains were $3 each!!! In Vancouver the price for a shit shake joint is $5 for a half gram or under joint. Want a "premium" weed like purple kush, MK ultra or Romulan? $14 minimum for a 1g joint that is rolled terribly and canoes like a bitch. The selections in Canada usually will be 5-15 strains of indica, sativa and hybrids. Not 5-15 of each, all together, like the whole store will only have 5-15 strains depending on the day of the week, if it has been busy or not, etc. The packaging in the American dispensaries are incredible. We are still using clear little baggies like you would get buying on the street!!! I truly hope that once full legalization has come into effect, that our dispensaries mirror yours. Sorry for the political cannabis rant, but I really loved your store so much and thought it was just fantastic. I was super low on cash and one of the workers gave me the sale price from the previous day. Truly made my weekend bearable. Thank you so much you guys. LOVE FROM VANCOUVER CANADA!!!!!

Love this place! Everyone is very knowledgeable about their products and always have great customer service. I've been regularly coming here once a week. Another bonus is they are always properly staffed so there is hardly ever a line to get your supply,  even though alot of people come in at a time. .

Always a great experience walking in to this little shop. This morning I'm the first customer at open and was greeted by two ladies smiling and looking like they actually love their jobs. Tell her what I'm looking for in a pre roll and she knew what I needed. Great dispensary not far from the airport either if ya just landed!

Really nice little shop. Professional, knowledgeable, friendly, and a great selection. We're just passing through so we probably won't be back, but that doesn't mean YOU can't go!  Right now!

Hands down the best pot shop experience I've ever had! My friend and I went in for the first time and were helped by Shane, who has now set an unattainable high standard for all my future shop interactions  I asked about pre-roll packs and was shown higher quality products and those lower in price, which then led to Shane giving us information about the companies, their growing practices, and which he would recommend and why. His passion for the marijuana industry and expertise in various strains was so refreshing, and I told him anything he recommended I would buy  Long story short, we went home with the pre-rolls and flower and BOTH are incredible. We interacted with other staff and they also made us laugh and just helped create a really comfortable environment! 10/10 would recommend coming here if you're passing through Spokane or live in the area and want a more catered weed buying experience. Will be driving here from Liberty Lake frequently because they're that good

Top Shelf has been consistently the go to place for recreational enjoyment. I cannot think of another place that have friendlier staff members, informative, and are quick in delivery of services. Top shelf simply has the best products available and options for a wide range of diverse cannabis fanatics. This place maintains sheer quality for a bargain and does not misinform their patrons. Shout out to their employee; Brandon, he is friendly, welcoming, informative, and has a great sense of people skills that other places unfortunately lack. Top Shelf will continue to be a place I will consider because people like Brandon make it smooth to make your purchases, thanks man!

I cant find a better selection of truly top shelf product at reasonable prices. Dont take my word for it..... Compare for yourself! You wont be disappointed!

Came in tonight, this is my usual shop. Was refused service because I have a mental condition (PTSD) so I can't wear a mask. Says exemptions right in the WA DOH mask mandate release: People with a medical or mental health condition or disability that prevents them from wearing a mask

Honestly best dispensary around here IMO. Best staff and product around, hands down! Thanks you guys, appreciate you all there.

My go-to store. Been there many times and had nothing but excellent service. Quality products, pleasant atmosphere. My only complaint is that the prices are a little on the high side but they're kind of in a touristy area (casinos are down the road) so I understand. I have my doubts of reviews claiming poor service, after probably hundreds of times going there I've never once had poor service. I suspect people making those claims are horrible customers.
