Have been here a couple times just tagging along with friends...prices seem good and the staff is super friendly but was really disappointed to find out this is the only rec shop in town that doesn't carry Artizen.  Can't claim to be the number one shop if you don't carry the number one brand...taking my business elsewhere.

WOW....lots of customers, lots of employees who seem to know stuff about the products  they are trying to sell me, lots of product all  extremely well presented and labeled....I could get used to this. This is my third weed shop I have used in the Oly area over the years, the other two drove me away with bad customer service...Oly Service I call it....so bad that the only take away is that they have stopped caring, an epidemic problem with Olympia. Third try the charm?

Had an amazing experience here while visiting  from Houston. Everyone was super friendly and very knowledgeable. They have a wonderful variety of everything from flowers to edibles and prices are so reasonable!

There's some pretty non-emotional people in there compared to when I first visited 420 last year. I don't remember 420 being this non-welcoming, EVER. I was hurt by this; all the times I've been there, the welcome feeling I got being in there made the experience better.Something else transpired which I won't get into for the sake of everyone that reads this review.I will say to keep everything you do with them, strictly business and overlook their charming nature; go in there, get your stuff and get out...They have decent stuff, don't get me wrong. Yet their "charming" attitudes is the main reason for the 1 star. Peace out.

Good selection, if you're not looking for an ounce.... would be nice if they offered more and different pricing for ounces. Bus tenders are nice, and offer help.... but they are not much help, as I've seen with many Olympia/Lacey dispensaries I know much more about the product than any of the bud tenders I've ran into.. not a bad dispensary, but definitely not impressive.

Visited today with my wife.  We are both in our late sixties and smoked plenty during the sixties.  We had just had a recent presentation in our retirement community by two of their staff who were fantastic.  Upon entering, we met the greeter who was quite amicable and friendly.  We told him about the presentation and he knew exactly where we were from. He got us our own personal sales person who displayed the various products and answered all of our geezer questions.  And she was great, too.  They have a great selection of products.  So, everything was great, but we noticed (couldn't help but) that at least one of the employees was conversing loud enough that I didn't need hearing aids to hear a constant stream of extremely foul language.  My wife doesn't have to hear gutter language like "f**k this", "f**k that" while shopping.  Maybe it's normal now to talk in public like that, especially this kind of an establishment, which does nothing for its image.A nice place, should be at least four stars, except for the really low class vocabulary of one or more employees.  Therefore I dropped it to two.

So the bonus is that 420 Carpenter actually carries a decent selection of CBD only products,however, the 2 stars is because the associate who waited on me obviously worked on commission because she tried to upsell me on everything I looked at. If I looked at the vape cartridges appropriate to what I needed, she suggested the higher cost cartridge. I asked about midrange vape pens, straight to high end. Looked at capsules, she suggests the significantly more expensive brand at a much higher dosage than I needed. It was pretty clear that she didn't give a rat's behind if I was buying what I actually needed. It was extremely annoying and uncomfortable to have to say "can you please just sell me what I'm trying to buy instead of trying to upsell the crap out of me?" Ensured that I'll never go back. Better to plan ahead and buy my CBD from Select online instead of dealing with that bs.

I loveD this store. When I was my skeptical self and trusted my own eyes. Every time I have asked for the tasty stuff I get shit that tastes like they are having an employee competition to see who can get rid of the most shit that's been on the shelf for 17 months. I was told it taste like tulips it tasted like charcoal that I scraped off of my barbecue. I am speaking of the Tumwater store. It's closest to where I live. And the people are nice enough. Except for the fact that they try and sell you crappy shit. I've never received a good recommendation from their store ever.

Loved this place, great product, awesome variety (in all price ranges), beautiful facility, very helpful staff and plenty of them, several atm machines, favorite dispensary shop on the west coast

I love the 420 locations. Nor ally i shop at the tumwater location. A gentlemen named Josh helped me out. He was so intelligent and helped me pick out an awesome variety of concentrates. Recently the air conditioning hasnt been working in the building! It's terrible and i cant shop in there. Fix the air conditioner so i can come back to my favorite store!

I have been here several times and am always impressed by the overall cleanliness, the neatness of the displayed product, the prices and the staff. They are very knowledgeable about the items they sell and can converse at length about their items without sounding like theyre bored. I love going to this place. They are now my #1 go to pot place

This is the best place in the area for price quality and even quantity. They got a place on Mudbay called 420west and even another one or two in tumwater and tacoma I believe. All im saying is the owner is smart as hell. They got $8 grams of top notch 90% bho and other oil concentrates like crumble and slabs. They also got $40-$50 20% THC Flower and other great deals on pre rolls and their edibles are 5 stars and the prices are not going to hurt your pocket. They have options for everyones needs as i have been going now for close to 2 years well it seems that long they got 3 plus stores now and im hella happy for em! You guys rock but they dont sell clones trimmimg anymore or seeds

This is the absolute best dispensary around!!!!  It's all very cheap, but amazing weed!! (probably bought the best I've ever had from here today), and that says a lot because I have a high tolerance and this weed actually has me couch locked lol.  I defiantly recommend, friendly staff and huge dispensary.

This place is great! Huge variety and the staff are very friendly and helpful- I think almost every employee asked if I needed help before I had even made a decision. Will be shopping here again in the future.

The store pleasantly wafts of fine marijuanas. Best deals ever. Coolest staff ever. Nobody tries to work you or sell you anything you don't need. Super helpful. Big selection, knowledgeable staff. Sometimes the atomizer selection is in-between old and new selections and you gotta wait a day or two for the primo cartridges, but no big deal. ATM on site.

This place is hands-down the only place I ygo to get your herb! Not only are they super welcoming, but they don't ever question you about what you know about what they know ;) so when you're looking for certain things they're very helpful, the prices are very good, the deals are great and no other place compares! I drive 30 miles to get there every time!! Cream of the crop!

Kudos to the staff at 420 West tonight! I super appreciate the kind humans that chipped in to make my grandparents first canna-experience a positive one. Your team carefully explained options, processed medical cards and offered a seat when grandma's pain was too great to stand. Grateful for an awesome community helping our elders find relief and comfort in herbal medicine. Thank you!

They are always so nice & super knowledgeable about their products. If you are looking for a specific relief, skin issues, health issues, stress, whatever, they direct you to the best product for your needs.

Staff was great, friendly and not overbearing. Other than the obvious, they have a nice edible selection from sweets and drinks to creams and pills! I'm looking forward to trying the Apple Crisp Truffle recommended by  a staffer!I was impressed with the different CBD products and their percentages. The medicinal community is gaining more and more recognition and for a chronically ill person that means the world!

I was on my way to Olympia, from West Seattle and I just happen to see the advertisement billboard on Martin Way. The first thing I noticed on the billboard, was the cheapest price in town! I needed to resupply, so I immediately followed the sign to 420 Carpenter. When I walked in the door, I was a little overwhelmed by the size and selection, but in a good way. They were totally right about the cheapest prices in town!! And it's all good quality product. I loaded up and left a very happy camper. Staff was super friendly and knowledgeable. I will make the drive down here every time in need to resupply, for sure!!!!  I love this place.

I must be honest the place is by far and away from the rest.  I am of course a repeat customer , however peaceful friendly staff awaits.  ID check with a smile and hand shake,   the selection is very good.  As far assistance, well they treat customers great.   Also the ladies over there are so cool and not to hard on the eyes.  Buyer's market on cannabis, but,this place offers a great experience.

I live in Tacoma and was hanging with some friends in Oly. We stopped by here last night and it was a wonderful experience. I really love how you have the weed and edibles etc all showcased with details. I often go to clear choice in Tacoma but they use a scrolling menu on some tvs. ( I hate them). Lol. Your business is so well laid out...I appreciated that. Your staff was also friendly and welcoming. We had a guy help us and he was very knowledgeable, patient and helpful while we debated. The weed I came home with is pretty good product so far. Pretty high on that blackberry kush. Iol. You're highly recommended in my book. I'll be stopping by when I'm down there from now on.

This place is awesome. I moved to the area from Seattle and was shocked by the low prices here! Plus the staff is always friendly and helpful. They have a good selection here, the only problem is that they dont usually have what's listed on their online menu. I was told this was because they sell out fast... Disappointing but not worth taking a star off.

420 Carpenter is the best shop in the state! Whenever we drive through Olympia (Lacey) from Seattle, we always stop here. Frankly, it's worth the drive, even if you're not headed that way. They have the friendliest and most knowledgeable staff I've experienced (I'm no cannabis expert). Plus, they have the best inventory and most reasonable prices imaginable. I wish every business operated this way!

I unfortunately have to leave a negative review , I've been here about 5 times , have always had excellent customer service ( just so happened to be by females ) whom were all knowledgeable on every strain of weed and pointed me to exactly what I was vibing with, however the last time I went in a worker was so high he couldn't answer my questions and seemed to be annoyed of me, would just throw out random weeds that weren't what I was asking for, I get working in a dispensary and being high can work for most but for him, it just didn't :/

why five?!? im welcomed as soon as i step in , not overwhelmed or bombarded . everyone behind the counter is unique and entertaining. both ladies and germs have assisted me in one way or another in desperate times. i usually come for one specific thing yet i leave with a sense of peace and a smile. therapists and urban apothecaries. this place isnt to be replaced or overlooked. prices are more than fair as are the products. jack knows the score ...

Great looking shop. Everything always runs smoothly when I'm in there. The product prices have definitely cheapened since when they first opened. The owner is almost always there as well.

I've been here a few times in the last few months. The staff is super welcoming and knowledgable. I've never left with a question unanswered. Pricing is very reasonable. I quit smoking, so I've switched to edibles. The Stavia (sp?) chocolate chip cookies are my favorite and pack a wallop if you eat the whole thing. I'm using for pain management, so I only need 1/4 to 1/2. Cheaper that way too ;-)

I love this place!! Prices are great! So great, that I drive from Burien to Lacey, once a week!! Great products and service. I just wish, that they would get the Sirus brand back again!

This particular establishment has always had amazing budtenders and have never had any issue with them. The only thing that I think they could do is have a not so arrogant security agent at the door. Not always checking IDs etc

420 makes it an experience! From the moment you walk in you are immediately greeted. John for example always shakes your hand, very personable. You can check in to get discounts and the customer service is alway top notch from the advice to assisting in electronics. Chris is another instance of someone who helped me out with some faulty product. Some great characters from around town and they always have an awesome attitude. A great first experience if your new to town.

The store is always clean and well lit, the staff is amazing and honest - if they think something isn't a good match for you, they will steer you away from it.  They listen to what you want, and make good suggestions, and are always very upbeat.  The price is very reasonable, and the store is looking at being able to work with medical coverage cards in the near future.  Great, friendly place, good energy, worth going back, again and again.

Won't take returns. I'm a serious novice when it comes to weed, but I wanted to try a vape pen so I went in, asked for help, and ended up going home with a cartridge and battery pen. I opened the pen up 5 mins later at home and realized the thing is HUGE when all put together. Not discreet at all. When I called to ask if I could exchange it for a more expensive, smaller pen (PAX) they said no. No exceptions. The receipt doesn't say anything about no returns either. Maybe there was a sign in the store, but being new to this and feeling rushed into choosing something by the guy helping me, I feel like they should have let me exchange it for something else. Oh well, I'm out $45 and I think I'll take my future business elsewhere.

Absolutely amazing customer service. Today was the first time I had ever been to this location because I was dedicated to going to a friends store but I've totally changed my mind, THIS LOCATION changed my life and the experiences i've had in other dispensaries. Absolutely amazing job 420Carpetner!!

HONEST REVIEW: Many of the reviews that are being given are from native Washingtonians: people who live in Lacey, as well as those from neighboring counties. I understand why they are biased towards the dispensaries in this area. However, after frequenting other dispensaries, I must say that 420Carpenter price gouges a lot: on their tinctures, edibles and flowers, more-so than the 420Capitol and their competitor of: Dank's Wonder Emporium; that of which the latter is greater than, also with limited supplies or recycled material because most of the items they sell aren't trill. Meaning: the selection that they have is subpar to other dispensaries outside of Olympia/Lacey.  (2 stars tbh..) Furthermore, there is a guy named: Beau, that called the cops on my companion: thinking that he was paying with a counterfeit $100 dollar bill; which turned out was real because the newer bills have been circulating for about 3 years, with the old one still in play. Personally, that is extremely sketchy. Also, the security guy over at 420 Carpenter likes to bump his chompers a lot: to the point where he's biased and ignorant. If you can bypass him and get what you need and get out or bypass 420Carpenter altogether. It's up to you but take heed to the truth, that come off as "negative". (0 stars) 420Carpenter should change their slogan from "the lowest prices in town" to the "we don't know what we're doing," they're nothing but 'charmers'. This is what Washingtonians don't tell you! (And it's real.) Also, have nothing but $20's and under on you; because depending upon the day and who you get: they'll take your $100 dollar and call the cops on you; even though you got the currency from a local store. ((-0 stars) My living in Western Washington state was pretty unjust: from the government to the job market. Here's to better weed and truly happier times! Ya friendly neighbor

Came here on 5/9. Maybe around 5:30pm. They weren't super busy. Boyfriend walked in got in line. His turn came next he got up to the counter and the girl just walked away. Didn't say anything. After standing there a few minutes he walked out. Went to Euphoric 360 down the road instead and was in and out, that's how you do business.

I went in yesterday to get some bud and oil and the bud tender Jessica offered me an extra dollar or two out of her own personal tip money so that i could get a higher quality flower.  I could not be more thankful or impressed with the customer service she provided.  THANK YOU JESSICA!!!

420 is my favorite weed shop!  I moved north to Seattle from Oly last year and I'm super sad I can't frequent this shop.  They have the BEST prices and BEST selection!  I'm an edible girl and also vegan, and they have the goods.  Lush & Pioneer Square's are my favorite and they always carry every flavor.  Everyone goes above and beyond to help and every single time I checkout, I have a really great conversation with my bud tender.  I'm serious, I feel like I have friends there!  Great place, I highly recommend.  Sometimes, I just drive to Oly to shop there.  It's that good!

Every time I go in, the employees are welcoming and have great attitudes. Today, Patrick assisted me and he was very knowledgable, patient, and helpful. This is my go to dispensary and I definitely recommend them.

Love the fact that this place is huge, they seem to always have stuff in stock. Everyone is super professional and will answer any question you have. I love their personal opinions about products. The prices I swear are better here than anywhere else.

One of my favorite 420 stores in town, primarily because of the location, its the closest one to where I live. The only reason I don't necessarily care for the store is because one of the employees was supposed to join our dj team and then kinda backed out, so at times it's a little uncomfortable shopping there. But it serves its purpose, and like I said it IS close.
