Poor selection, no edibles, ridiculous prices. It's a shame that this is the only option for people who don't know any better. It would literally be cheaper to buy a plane ticket to Denver, Seattle or Portland and purchase your stuff and send it through the mail. They were nice and it was quick inside (had to wait 35 minutes before being seen) but the quickness was because there are only 3 things to choose from. A pill, a liquid or an oil. People need to boycott these dispensaries until it is completely legalized and prices come down.

I went there 3 or 4 times nice and clean quick service , nice explanation of ea. Option too expensive I tried the vapes and sublingual drops. Sublingual doesn't work for me at all. Vape was 86.00 it was strong but I can't afford that for my pain,so I will continue with Street wellness until further notice

This place sucks. The staff is pretentious and sterile. The products are over priced. I spent $150 on marijuana pills that did nothing for me. They might as well have been tic-tacos. I suggest you go to med men. Columbia Care sucks!!!

People need to realize this is not Colorado or California. Marijuana is only available in NY dispensaries for medicinal purposes. Once you understand the limits of the state law, you can see why you are not going to go there and walk out with a bag of cheap weed. But if you suffer from intractable pain, like I do, you might find yourself grateful that the strain of MM that is available actually works for you.I've nothing to compare this place to, as I've never been to another dispensary, but I found the staff to be friendly and upbeat. The atmosphere was kind of antiseptic, but it was clean and new. My only complaint is that it's crazy expensive, which might leave lower income people out of luck, but I'm hoping this will change over time as laws and cultural tendencies mature.

This place is extremely expensive compared to others and their communication with their patients is terrible. I placed an order in the morning and they confirmed that debit card was ok. Upon arriving, they said it was cash only and no one called me to inform me. I wasted taking time off of work and time spent making a trip there. I rely on this CBD oil for my chronic illness and don't appreciate their lack of caring for us. I will not be coming back. It's too bad because I would spend $200-300 worth each month that I'll be taking elsewhere.

We got medical marijuana from this place (THC and CBD) and they were both USELESS.  If you want some proof, here I am at 4 am.Neither of this items worked at all as promised -- lousy sleep and no energy, tho I was told that CBD would help with energy. Also, as with the other medical marijuana stores, they make their own brand - which seems like a major waste of time and I wonder if their formulas are even checked re the ingredients being used.Lastly, as with the other store I've been to, this product is VERY expensive.  So, my advice:  DON"T BOTHER.

They really care about the patients and take the time to figure out what's best for you.

They'll spam call your phone to get you in the door with buy one get one free promotions only to not honor it once you're actually there. Happened to me, and I still bought tinctures anyways since I was in pain only to find out they gave me two expired bottles, which they refused to take back after I called to complain. Never again. Always check the expiration date. They operate like bandits it's pathetic. Expired tinctures, really?

Good flower but lots of stems ground up in each eighth to pick through. I miss nugs...just wish they didn't have to grind it all industrial style to meet crazy regulations! Glad they are here though, great people and location!

I had an excellent experience, from beginning to end, at Columbia Care.  It is ridiculous that so many negative reviews below are complaining about things that have NOTHING to do with Columbia Care specifically, but are just issues with the entire New York State Medical Marijuana regulated environment.   It is important, and very useful, to read all about it on the NYS web site, as well as those of various dispensaries. I made an appointment online with Columbia Care, and I was able to complete all the necessary paperwork before I got there.  Security and Reception were friendly and helpful.  The waiting room was new and immaculate.  I waited about twenty minutes to see a pharmacist who was pleasant, thorough and helpful.  Again, it helps to read about the various products before you go in. After I agreed on a purchase, it was wrapped up, and the transaction was completed quickly. They only accept cash, right now.  Looking on the web, their prices might be a little higher than others, but for me that was compensated for by my senior discount.  Full Disclosure: there are only three dispensaries currently in Manhattan, and Columbia Care is just several blocks from me! They do not have information on the web, or in handouts, that lists their products specifically, with sizes, contents and cost, but they were completely willing to provide the information by phone and in person.  It was a satisfying experience, and I have returned once already.

Very lame. The techs are useless, can't do any troubleshooting, and there is always a wait even with an appointment. Hours and location are inconvenient for the 5 boroughs, unless you live in the East Village or Bk.

Super friendly, super clean, super welcoming, super efficient. I make my appointments online and they are great about keeping to a schedule. I was so afraid to go because I had never tried MM before but they walked me through it and helped me pick the best forms for me! It's pricy, yes, but this medicine has helped me greatly. Wish it was legal for all.

Although the place is very zen inside and the pharmacists are nice, it's so expensive!  Most products cost twice as much as dealers sell them for, i'm referring to the vape cartridges.  In addition, you have to pay a doctor to get the card, then you have to pay to renew/recertify every year and it's in the hundreds.  It's a scam and I won't be using them anymore, i'd rather give my business to somebody else.  It's time that NY State gets with the program and legalizes this medicine.  For a forward thinking city we are so so behind and this place is all about the money

I don't know anything about the laws about strength of the THC/CBD they are legally allowed to give out, but this is a very friendly, professional and clean place. The pharmacist I saw was great, he explained everything and helped me decide what would be best (I wanted less psychoactive effects). It's easy to get an appointment and they're open 7 days a week which is great. The only downside is, of course, the price. It's expensive, and I'm lucky I do have the money to pay. But the plus of pain relief and lack of side effects (at least for me) makes it totally worth it. (At the time I went, their debit machine was broken and they made it very very clear that I would need to pay cash. So no confusion about that.)

For me the need for MM for intractable nerve pain is a journey away from pain meds, patches and otc pain remedies. I made my appt online and filled out the paperwork online. The trip from Staten island is a bit much as I ambulate very slowly with a cane. But bus, express bus and a train later, I arrived to a nice storefront with an armed security guard. The guard, the admin staff and the pharmacist were all exceptional. The place is clean and professional looking. There is information available to read about the products while you wait.(I read it all and watched videos online) I chose to buy the tinctures. The staff products and information on how to use and when was great. My only issue was the price I am on Disability and a lower fixed income so it was a bit of an issue to spend $200. On my first visit in cash. It is currently cheaper to be on pain meds than to use these products every day. The products do provide me with a sense of calm and it removes my anxiety about the pain. It helps me relax and sleep.

I had a great first time experience.  There were quite a few pharmacists so short waiting time.  He took his time and made sure I got the right dose.  Very quick, professional and nice employees.

This was the first dispensary I've visited in New York. It's super clinical (in comparison to the dispensaries I saw in Colorado at least) and feels pretty much like a clean, modern medical clinic more than anything. I think that's worth mentioning because it's not your weed dealer's house, it's just a boring pharmacy with large stock photos of cannabis plants, like if CVS only sold one kind of medication and they were extremely excited about it.The pharmacists I've worked with have all been incredibly friendly, patient, and happy to help you troubleshoot your prescription. Everyone else I've encountered on staff there has been unfailingly friendly and, again, patient - which is a bonus if you're the type of medical mj patient who sometimes is, um, a little slow and foggy when dealing with the complexities of state certification requirements and medication adjustments! The downsides are more related to the legal bureaucracy making it difficult for dispensaries to accept credit cards or anything - yes, it's a pain in the ass that you have to pay cash or debit, but that's not Columbia Care being dicks, that's the federal government and your credit card companies and the related bullshit about this country not wanting to wholesale accept marijuana as something legal and useful.SO hey, how about write a letter to your senator or the president rather than yelling at the dispensary? Because these guys at Columbia Care are pretty nice and I don't want that to stop.

Besides the price (and I haven't done much price-comparison), Columbia Care is a top notch dispensary. They really make you feel cared for. The sales room staff are very knowledgeable and can really help you navigate your way through the experience. The vibe is very new age café and it might be the most futuristic-looking medical shop I've been in.

I'm torn. I have someone close to me who has a medical marijuana card, and ANY access to this is something to be celebrated. I've seen the complaints comparing prices and quality to other dispensaries and to other sources, and I can't speak to any of that. I know my friend did echo some of the complaints about price and quality since visiting, but without alternatives this is what she has to work with and she's grateful for it. I came in with her, and the pharmacists and staff working the front desk are phenomenal. Beyond sweet and kind, they take their time to explain everything and seem to really care about their patients. The facility is spotless and professional. What I do wish they would address that is within their power, is the *extremely* aggressive bouncer they have manning the front door. It's the Village, it's a main road, maybe you have bar experience only- I get it. But the people coming here aren't criminals just for showing up. I came with her twice and we were both treated with blatantly rude aggression, the guy literally calling her out for making eye contact with him before pushing the button to enter the door. Barking directions on how to operate the door while berating you for not knowing. Telling you it's cash only when you show your ID to get in (which you must do), then saying it's not the right ID to purchase products with when that's not the card you need to show him (again, you need your ID to gain entry) and not what he asked for. Smiles and thank yous were met with animosity off the bat. Confusing, threatening, and unfortunate. Get this guy the hell out of here and hire someone whose capable of speaking softly and carrying a big stick so you don't make patients feel like drunk derelicts on a rager, I mean Jesus :(

do not go to these hustlers! on my first visit i was welcomed with open arms.my second visit i checked in at the front desk the person at the desk asked if i had pre ordered my perception. when i told her no i had not pre ordered she let out a sigh. i asked if that was a problem. all i got for an answer was another sigh. i walked into the room and was told i had to wait outside. i waited behind a customer and after about 10 minutes i asked the pharmacist if i could ask her a question. i was told no lol!  i walked out and i will never go back. save your time and money from these hustlers! they are not caring! and there products overpriced and not very good!

Extremely disappointed in the accessibility in the pricing here. The products they sell do not last. The vape cartridges are the worst deal. The batteries drain before the oil is gone with product still left. When I asked if I could be provided a discount they told me there was no product left when I'm literally looking at it right it front of me. The woman helping me suggested I purchase a more expensive option for $70.. and then another for $100..As someone who legitimately uses medication for pain, this is extremely disheartening.

Staff is nice but what is this ground flower?????? It is the nastiest thing I have ever tasted in my life. It smells like mid grade (maybe worse) and made me vomit when I'm smoking for nausea.

After a less than desirable visit to another dispensary in the city, I was coming in on bated breath. But all of that was dispelled when we arrived at the door. The security officer was friendly as were the folks on the inside. They have a lovely waiting area and they only have a single sheet for you to fill out during  intake. When an agent is available, you're called to the pharmacy area to speak with folks who actually know about the products and how they can aid your ailments best. They give a discount for your 1st visit and I noticed on the form if you have specific subsidies, they will extend other discounts as well. I noticed a lot of folks of a certain age shopping here and it was nice to see them treated with dignity. Thank you for a great 1st experience Columbia team!

I came in as they opened and since i the delivery I ordered was postponed a couple of days i decided to just stop by and pick my order up since I was in the area. The staff was nice to me and once i filled out a quick sheet they were already getting my order together and had also canceled the delivery for me. I dont know what its like there when its busy but i had a good experience and its hard to find thc gummies at New York dispensaries so I really like that they have many flavors in stock since those work best for me. I would definitely be coming back! And i am critical when it comes to treating customers right and not abusing power. Great spot, good discounts, and they deliver all over (only negative was the broken down delivery truck) but I hope that isnt a reoccurring thing.

Nice building, and nice bright interior. The front desk workers should be trained to let the guests know of the multiple menu books laying around before ordering. The menu books are out of range of view from the front desk. The station I payed at in the back room, was janky and out of position. I had to reach behind the door to insert my card, and the attendant didn’t seem very phased...if I’m spending over $100 a visit, I’d like a proper pay area. I recommend the hybrid ground flower for highest THC ratio, and strength. Overall a nice visit, just a few tips up above.
