bait & switch.and they DO NOT care about rec customers! it's a completely unorganized mess, it's not a mission is just a big miss. wait in a long ass f'in line. then when i get in there they tell me the bathroom is broken, hence the port-potties outside 1st lie (i went to the bathroom when i got up to the cashier line) then you wait in their waiting room, and ppl "help you" i said i want sativa, what sativa's do you have, because after looking at the menu they didn't have any of the strains i came there for, and their menus didn't match up. this lil g from the alphabet ppl tells me they have blue gelato, which is blue dream x gelato lie #2 and g purps roll ups lie #3, and i'm thinking  i thought g purps was granddaddy purps, an indica?? but maybe it's literally just g, another strain?? so i order get up to the other line for cashiers, btw the cashier was the only one who did his job right. i never got to see the herb or touch the containers, it was just put in a bag with the receipt. then i leave there and i didn't have g purps or blue gelato lie #4, i had the great fire and vanilla berry pie. i call say this isn't what i ordered and  jacob tells me they have never experienced this before, he will call me back. you've never experienced this before? you've only been doing this 3 Mf'in days. your manager didn't go over protocol of what to do when mistakes happen? or when customers are not satisfied, really!!! then he calls me back acknowledging that i did not order that and says they told me i was told i was getting replacements lie #5, who told me jacob? the person who brought the herb to the cashier? the "salesman"? nobody said ish!! and there are no refunds, exchanges. lie #6, they have a policy for medical patients, why not rec? then he tells me the manager rebecca will call me back in 24-48hrs lie #7 no one ever called me, i got stuck with some taxed ass herb, and there is no sativa blue gelato strain that is a mix of blue dream x gelato, that blue gelato is an indica dom strain, SO NOT what i wanted. this fool completely fabricated a whole strain.  those ppl don't even know wtf they are talking about, and g purps is granddaddy purp, an indica strain, i'm lucky they gave me a sativa roll up. but how are you going to replace sativa with indica & vise versa??? they are supposed to be trained! they have to deal with patients as well as rec, you can't replace indica with sativa or vice versa!!! and clearly they don't gaf about their customers cause the manager didn't  even call me back. plus their website inventory and weedmaps inventory don't match up, lie #8 so you can't even tell what they have or research it, and the medical patients are getting different herb by different companies lie #9. can you tell i am mad?? they should be tryin to help me rectify this situation, but clearly they don't care about you, so don't waste your time or money here. i've been to amsterdam, dispensaries from washington thru cali, and michigan, and never been treated SO POORLY, it's just sad, in my own city. how disrespectful!

I made a point to visit as many dispensaries. Mission by far, is the most organized, best stocked, and has the nicest staff, hands down. The prices are the most competitive in Chicago. Forget MOCA Sunnyside  D33 and NuMed. Windy City is alright but they don't have the supply Mission has. Thanks for the great experience!

This is my go-to place. Love that they have a rewards program. Usually have a couple flowers in stock for rec as well as distillates, edibles, etc. Never a hassle here.

Been here 4 times.Each time a worse and worse experience.Today, had a 1pm appointment and preordered my purchase.Arrived on time. But they were overbooked, refused to let us get in line.Sent us to our cars to wait with a promise to be called when to return.No call came. 2 hours later we called them. Told to go to the end of the line. Another 2 hours wasted (behind people who came after us).This is the third time I've experienced this kind of shoddy throughput.Felt like I was viewed as an irritation, not a  customer.Managers ignored my complaint. "Just get back in line".They only mistreat customers b/c they are the only dispensary on the south side.Talk to your alderman and congressman.Remove their monopoly.Let's get them some competition so they'll remember that customer experience and satisfaction matters.

I'm a medical patient who came in for the first time specifically to buy myself a Puffco pro for my birthday (I know, very exciting). The woman who helped me was extremely friendly, and got so excited for me when she realized what I was there to pick up. She found every way to save me a few bucks, and did it with a smile. She was so incredible it really made my day, aside from getting a new toy. Dispensary was very secure, clean and quick. Would definitely recommend for any rec users or if you're a med patient looking to register somewhere new :)

Stopped by this afternoon for the second time.  This second visit was much different than my first. The first time was great. Everyone was extremely professional and helpful. This second visit has me wondering what the future holds for this place. There is a security guard who ushers you in once you pass the first doors and have shown your Identification. She really had me feeling like I was having a "Soul Plane" or government assistance experience when she gave us the "rules". I get it, don't try the products inside and no photographs allowed. There is a way to professionally get this message across to everyone without being so abrasive and demeaning.These products are extremely expensive. Treating your customers/patients with kindness, respect and appreciation for their business should be a given.

Asked me to schedule a time to arive and shop then made me wait in line to enter behind a customer who didn't have an appointment. Then they made me take my mask off to identify my face (this felt like a lack of concern for my safety) while they had my id. I get inside and feel harassed by using my phone to get input from my wife about ideas on what to buy to compare to what the salesperson pushes. When I get to cashier the customer next to me buys much more than the rationed gram purchase and I'm told he ordered before the ration was implimented. Lastly, they didn't have in stock the product I wanted to buy so I had to compromise. On the other side of my complaints they were cordial and were not being directly rude so I appreciate their restraint to control their patient customer who has options. They should have what I want, not insult my inteligence by setting appointments they don't honor and maintain a regard for my health precautions. 3 of 5 as I'm not sure of my continued patronage. You've been warned...

Not the most friendliest dispensary. I came in and was told I was able to get discount, first I was told to bring in my pay stubs then I was told to bring in my W-2 forms once I brought it in my W-2 forms I asked about blacking out my social. I was told that I could not that the state needed to see my information when the state already has my information or I wouldn't have a card. so I advise anyone if you want a discount at this dispensary get ready to show all of your personal information.

This place is trash. Unprofessional budtenders and management, overly high prices for the same item you can get at another dispensary for way less. This place is ran like a personal hangout rather than a place to get your medicine. Also watch out for their bait and switch when you place an order online. Also they will have you sitting in the lobby waiting to make a purchase when it's no one in the dispensary stating they can't have more than 3 people in at a time, but if no ones in there why am I waiting over 10 minutes to walk in the place and make a purchase. This place is ran by amateurs that don't care about the community they serve. Save your money and go somewhere else.

As a recreational buyer I must say mission is the best dispensary in Chicago. I went in on a Thursday around 12pm and I was in and out in less than 10 min. The staff was extremely friendly and there was no dumb time limit or specific days you are allowed to buy as a recreational user. I can't say the same for other dispensaries in Chicago. Thank you mission!!

In every relationship there will be some bumps in the road. My Mission in South Shore has an awesome team of people to smooth those bumpy roads. I went in for 3.5 of Pineapple Express but unknowingly walked out with Chunky Diesel instead (ok.. I didn't read the package... my mind was elsewhere) I called right away and ....Guess what??? Mission compensated my time and energy by allowing me to keep the Chunky Diesel and gave me the 3.5 pre roll of Pineapple Express on the house. I  Mission  Chicago  South Shore dispensary!

This place is well organized and efficient! You can go online and order in advance to avoid lines. There seems to be a variety of products to select from, depending on your interest. Also, bring cash! Or, you will have to use their ATM.

Oh Mission, my Mission. I stumbled upon you from a friend's recommendation. I was a little uncertain heading down to the South Side, but I am sure glad I made the trek. Your team was able to answer every question I had in the world of cannabis. They set me up with some KIVA chocolates (which are my favorite); and a couple of strains for different times of the day. Everyone was so nice, and I felt so comfortable! I am happy as can be and 10/10 will be back.

Never have to wait too long, really patient and helpful staff. Really good website and selection if you're not picky. One of the best dispensaries I've visited in/around Chicago. Most don't let you see the product or walk around, it's just a counter, but here you can glance around and it's more of an experience.

This place is worth the 1 hour drive it takes me to get there. I live near Wicker Park and there are other dispensaries near me, but none offer the selection and compassionate service I receive each time at Mission.The variety of options here is the best! I often find the premium strains that I need to provide relief, at a lower price than most others offer.  My favorites are The Great Fire Sativa Flower and the Verano Sour Mandarin 1:1 Gummies.I discovered my now favorite strain The Great Fire as a recommendation from one of their staff, Darren. I'm embarrassed to say I've been here so many times I know a lot of the names of the staff. Every time I've received nothing but kind and knowledgeable service from Geno, Julian, Darren, and even the Manager Rebecca who has jumped in to help out when things were busy. Even when the lines were full, I never felt rushed when purchasing my medicine. For faster service, order ahead online, and pay in cash or use the CanPay app which links to your bank account. If you don't have cash, they have an ATM inside as well. To top it off, they also have a rewards system that gives you $15 for every $250 spent! No dealer can match that!Thank you for continuing to safely provide my medicine during these tough times!

Pre-rolls are not filled to the top of the raw cone and that is NOT COOL for the prices they are charging. At least give a customer a full raw, especially the super short ones or lower your prices. Bad business and then they give you a hard time to return once the seal been broken! They are getting over on unsuspecting clients and it's not honorable at all. Y'all this is not cool

Aye why them people in the back don't know how to scale or weight or label they products? I brought Kush 1/8 (3.5) for $ 35 ($50 regular price) tell me why when I opened my jar it just a damn 1 damn nugget?? I'm heated!! I advised y'all to open y'all shi up in FRONT OF THEM REGARDLESS OF WHAT THEY SAY or SHAKE IT TO SEE IF ANYTHING IS IN THERE!!! When you call and complain they will tell you contact the information on your  Receipts (do not throw away your receipt!!)  and want you to take a picture and send it to they Email and hopefully they give ur refund or get another one.  N make sure the shi say THC N NOT CBD OR THCA CUZ THE SHI IS HUFF (garbage)

Use to give this place 5 stars but with the robo wanna be cop who works in the morning is rude. Very ignorant lady. As much as I spend would prob be enough to pay her weekly gross. Lacks inventory now. Back in the day used to give this place 5 stars. This lady loves to harass disabled people. Was a inch over the handicap line. She made me move my car. Rude as shit then wants to stare you down like she special. Special nobody!! As much as I spend I be happy to take my business else where.

What a bunch of rip off artists. $78 (tax included) for a .5g cart? And it wasn't even full. Like 20% or over .1g short. Keep in mind that was the cheapest cart with a %10 discount. that is 4x more expensive than your closest competitor in Michigan to boot. That is just shameful. Your best bet? Screw this place and go to a Michigan dispensary. A 1g cart there is $35-45 with a flat tax of %15. If you're buying a bit you'll get twice the product for half the money. Well worth the extra gas and time to go there instead. And my suggestion to Mission......if you are gonna eye gouge your customers at least make sure your carts are full and your scales are accurate. Buyer beware. Their convenience does not justify their price. Support your local plug who probably sells 1g carts for $20. Actively supporting a business that is overpriced only encourages sky high prices. Boycotting a business model like this is the only thing that will force their prices down closer to the national average. It's  just sad that even weed in California as tax happy as they are is still far cheaper that here.

This place is suspect to me.  I purchased Double Durban Kush from here by Natures Grace.  I've purchased this twice before from Sunnyside and was very impressed.  However, my purchase at Mission of the exact same manufacturer and stand was extremely poor quality.  Almost like a moldy male plant.  Although the staff was very nice, it appears they may not be ethical with the product versus the description.  There is no contact us in the page, so I figured I'd share on Yelp..

For one the weed is some of the worst for the price point they have not to mention the last time I went I placed an online order for some concentrate (the only thing worth buying from this place) and it says pick up between 6:30-7 and the shop closes at 7 I come at 6:55 to pick up my order and leave and I'm informed that they are closed and at capacity even though my order was actually ready to go all I had to do was pay... go buy weed from your local dealer who actually needs the $$$ wat a fucking joke

I have to write a new review. The girl working in the lobby is rude! I don't understand why she's so hostile when people didn't realize it was a full lobby she snaps on them and let's them know to wait outside. She's need to learn how to speak to people. I usually have a pleasant experience but she put a sour taste in my mouth about this dispensary.

Boycott all dispensaries in Chicago until they lower their price to black market value. Only teenagers who don't know what they're doing get ripped off like this. Until then buy from your local dealer. Bought an eight for $67. An eight on the black market is $40. Stay local and support the people that actually rely on business to stay alive. They been in this business way before this place opened up shop.

I purchased legends pre rolls (5pk), not Cali prices of course. I got home to a sealed box to discover the box was empty. Unfortunately they were closed by the time I discovered this. The email that they give was sent back undeliverable. I left a message, I hope I get a return call and my money back or product. If not, I'll never return. So please check your items before you walk away from the counter. I'm very disappointed!! This place has always delivered on professionalism and quality. I'll be back on Yelp with the resolution.... stay tuned!Ok! Great job Gino... he was professional and they replaced my purchase. I had the wrong email and they returned my call.

The employees here are very rude. The customer service here is poor. They keep the doors locked and make you wait outside until they decide to unlock the door. They people in the front are quick to turn you away if you don't have an online order, yet they stop online orders 2 hours before they close. Needs better management, customer service, better system. This company will very easily loose customers if they continue at the rate they are going. Didn't even get to try the bud and I already don't want to come back . I was only in the store all of 30 seconds and the experience was that bad.

I go here often, too often! I always receive only the best customer service! I wish they would change their labels. The THC content is confusing. What they list online is nowhere on the packaging. I've seen other labels from other dispensaries which are much clearer. Most smoke under 25% THC does not work for me.

Have had multiple issues placing orders online....the price listed isn't the price given at checkout, it's false advertising.  When contacting the store itself the manager called me a liar. Bad business practices, n the quality is only sub-par. Not to mention the staff itself is unprofessional, security is rude n impolite. One of the employees told me that she informs customers to bring an extra $20 in case of price changes....some of us don't have an extra $20, n why would the price change, why not list the actual price to begin with??? Again false advertising so be cautious when shopping at this location.

I was recently at the dispensary and I found out that all employees have covid and they are not taking it seriously they need to shut down have a deep clean and after that then reopen. This covid is real and they need to take this seriously. This is so wrong to continue to be open and the staff has covid.

This is the worse dispensary I've ever seen their constantly changing hours without notice and now they cut the dispensary hours and can only order online with certain time slots and if your slot fills up and you have things to do like goto work your screwed they don't care about patients or customers their selections are decreasing by the day this location is a joke compared to south Chicago they say their doing everything they can with Covid and yet they have 6 workers at the front desk just standing there with no mask

I've Been a daily stoner for almost 20 years. I know quality, I know strains, I know fair pricing. Here at missions you never know what to expect. The first few times i came and picked up some bud it was decent, the taxes are wack but that's to be expected. BUT..... The last 3 times i came in i was pretty disappointed in the strains they gave me. First of all the sativa sucks! Green crack which is a sativa dominant strain was what i ordered but not what i got. As soon as i smoked a bowl of green crack i was dead. completely glued to the couch, i felt like i was given chemotherapy weed for sleep or something. literally in my 20 year experience i've never been soo tired from smoking and sativa at that!?  so i said hmmm. maybe it was just me? even though every smoke after that for the next 2 days was the same effect very very tired. I didn't even want to smoke it. My second instance i bought pre rolled jack herer, which in my experience has always been a pleasant strain for me. NOT THIS TIME..... I had 3 pre rolled joints and not one of them had any affect on me or my friend who was smoking with me. i had to call up my dealer and get it from him because i literally didn't even get high.... not even a little.  idk something about their pre rolls really suck and their sativa really sucks and if they are having a discounted price on something don't buy it because the strains i bought above were discounted. Maybe that's why? cuz they know it sucks or people have complained? not sure but i've spent decent money here and wasted about 120 on shit weed that sucked. I go here because it's fast, in and out and when i need to pick up something to get me by. but seriously support your local dealer, they always will have better stuff and better prices. you get an 1/8 from missions for like 70 dollars after tax and you don't know what your really getting.  you get an 1/8 from a dealer for 30 dollars so i'm gonna always stick with my dealer but if i'm in need it's nice that missions is there. Apart of everything else i've heard from multiple people the only thing worth getting here is the cartridges.  But really nice people work here, they make you feel super welcome and that's why i had to at least give a 2 star because of how quick it is and how awesome the employees are.

I've come to this dispensary twice and had a nice experience both times.  Walk-ins and pre-orders are welcome.  I was a walk-in and after ID check I was allowed in to business.  There are a decent amount of products on display and they have a ipad stations so you can place your orders.  After you place your order, you move over to line to the cashier/budtender.  There was an employee that greeted me when I arrived and she was very helpful with explaining some of the products on display and ones listed on the ipad. She genuinely was helpful and was more than happy to spend the time to answer any questions you have.  I will definitely return when I am back in the Chicago area.  There is also a rewards program that will give you money off of your next purchase.  You get points for every dollar you spend.  They also offer veteran discounts.  Great customer experience from the staff both in front of and behind the counter.

Shopped here for 2 yrs today there is a hurricane about to wipe out my family living in new Orleans. I walked in on the phone and the cashier I was at had no problem but 1 staff member decided to take it upon himself to treat me like some white person because I'm lite skinned and told me to get off the phone I told him no because my family might be dead in the next few hours his response is he didn't care I couldn't be on the phone so if you want to be discrimated against and disrespected then come here they can do it apparently if they want

Awesome Experience ......now product wise, uhm well as a experienced recreational user, my purchase was just too dry. When buying flowers you want them to be fresh as possible for the best results. Don't get me wrong quality of these flowers is spot on but ya just want them to be fresh long as possible too. Update I still come here to get my flowers just wish prerolls are pack better than before very hard to inhale them at times....

What a great experience! From pulling into their own, amply sized parking lot, to receiving my flowers and my receipt, 10/10. While walking in, I had noticed, they have staff available for curb side pick up. And I mean attentive staff. They portrayed body language of some who knows the who, what, when, and most importantly the how to conduct a professional transaction. Entering the establishment, be ready with a photo ID. (And during Covid restrictions, bring a mask) The staff at the door (see:anti-chamber) was quick, courteous, and polite, keeping everything moving, but also making sure that the people are who they say they are. Upon entrance to the display floor, I was in awe. From the historic timeline painted on the wall, to the opportunity to experience a variety of choices, it had it all. It was great. Soon after I had stopped at one of the kiosks, I was greeted by one of the floor staff to ask if I had any questions or concerns. The very knowledgeable gentleman quickly and easily answered most of my questions. But I had too many of them. So, this being 2021, I was greeted with a handy data pad to use. It was very user friendly from someone from even my generation to use. It answered some of the technical questions of what I needed to know and also how to place the order that I ended up putting through. One thing to note is this is a cash only business, but they do have an on-site ATM that's very user friendly and has low (and I mean LOW) user fees. (They could easily price gouge here but they don't.) After the order was put through and processed you then just have to find a place in line or wait for your name to be called. This happened faster than I would have expected. Wait time is almost zero. I'm sure there could be exceptions during busy hours and or if you have a custom order which I don't know if there is such a thing. Overall I had a great experience, will recommend Mission Dispensaries 100% of the time.

I've been checking these guys out for a few months. They're like 22 miles away from my home so I haven't been able to find the time to head out. Well I found myself within 3 miles of them last Saturday. So glad I checked them out. The hostess,( at least that's what I'll call her since I don't know the actual position name, ) was quick to greet me and was helpful with any questions. They had to nice deals going on too. Service was quick even though there was a line. Also to mention they have a killer vibe going on too. Like if lounging and partaking was allowed, I'd be on it. Doing good things Mission. Keep it up.
