Medical Review Just moved to the Lincoln Square area and have had the chance to stop by twice so far. And I have to say both times I was equally happy with the great customer service, menu selection, and efficiency. It was my first time trying the Kushie Carmel's by Revolution and it is definitely a new favorite for taste & potency. Highly recommend this dispensary to all.

Just like all of chicago a bunch of over priced lame ass weak crap charging $85 a g for concentrates your outta your rabid a** mind even street prices were like $40 a g when it wasnt legal try coming up in the world like Washington or Oregon ive lived in every state and the west coast is where its at. this and every other horrible excuse for a dispensary around the east coast disgust me with how pathetic they actually are keep in mind growers currently keep the grow rate low as to keep prices high

I was actually really impressed with how well this place is run.We put our name in right as they opened, maybe a few minutes until 9. A crowd started to form around 8:50am, so best to get there a little early if you can. They took our name and cell number and said they'd text when they had an opening, and that we'd have an hour from that time to come and shop. We got a text at 9:37am, and were just wrapping up brunch at the nearby Bongo Room. We headed over, sat in the designated order in the chairs in the waiting room. They scanned our QR code once they called us into the room, where we were connected with a sales rep who was there to answer questions and whatnot. We bought an eighth for $80. Cash only, obvs.Were in and out I think in 12 minutes. Maybe 20.And super glad we were able to get that before it got harder to shop b/c of corona.

Yes, there's  a complex queue system in place here to help combat the spread of COVID-19. (We're in the middle of a devastating global pandemic in case some of you assholes hadn't noticed. Get the fuck over it.)I love the indica-dominant sea salt caramels that I was able to find here, and was pleased to learn that the staff here is both friendly and knowledgeable.Eventbrite makes things easy for you if you have your medical card (or rec card, for that matter) and need to reserve a place in the queues.

I have been an insomniac for my whole life...  my body even fights being put under anesthesia.  I did my best to cope with little to no sleep...  but it certainly eats away at ya.My boyfriend recommended I try some cannabis gummies...  which sounded like another expense (and my purse isn't getting any bigger).  But after a few particularly horrid sleepless nights (in January 2021), I figured, why not try?I went to a dispensary in Lakeview... just because I happened to be over there running an errand.  The gummies worked like a dream!  I reorganized my spending so I could fit them into my budget on a regular basis.  My February and March trips to this place went smoothly.  I thought I'd really found a solution... and getting good rest improves everything!But today (April 15th 2021), I went to get my monthly stash... and that place had no one to consult with...  and I didn't have a mobile phone... so I wasn't able to place or retrieve an order.  I made that long walk home empty-handed and sobbing.Once home and glued to my laptop, I looked up other dispensary options and was delighted to find Dispensary33...  just a short jaunt from my apartment.  I was able to find a comparable product...  and ended up saving $30!So...  shorter walk...  cheaper prices.  I think I'll be getting my sleep-aids from Dispenary33 from now on.:-)

ATTN MEDICAL USERS: On 7/10, finally realized the management of this place could care less about medical users, and switched dispensaries... D33 had an impromptu sale, everything was showing up available for preorder, but when attempting to check out there was no stock of ANYTHING I use, and I was unable to get what is MEDICINE, not recreation for me. I get that recreational marijuana is where the money is at. But this is my pharmacy.Can you imagine going to get medicine that helps make your life of chronic pain and injury tolerable, only to find that you can't due to:- so many people buying it up on sale to use for a buzz and, also:- competing against those that, like you, are using it for medicine too, but due to lowered prices are buying it up like TP?If you can, and are the type of masochist that thinks that kind of frustration and lack of medicine sounds pleasurable, choose D33... it's the perfect place for you!(Do want to add I will miss several of the staff, as they were very nice to me, and the best thing about this ill run operation)

Nope. Unfriendly worker working the curbside pick up. Perhaps working on manners is a start. When the lady came out to collect my money she didn't say "hello". So let's see I have $350 I am spending right now in the store and you can't even acknowledge your customer. This place is only for emergencies. THC Center is the best. Everyone is very knowledgeable about cannabis and are beyond friendly. I'd rather give money to people who are like that. Do not go here.

It's legal! Yay!This place is bright, fresh, mod and light. Great selection of edibles (my go-to). The prices are somewhat high, but no higher than any other place of this sort, because taxes. That's gonna happen.COVID protocols in effect. Great staff. Excellent ordering procedure. You might wait in line a little bit, but if you ordered ahead, you'll be in and out in no time.

I've been going to D33 for about a year now. Everyone is always super friendly! The staff is really helpful and knowledgeable about the products. I've tried so many of the products they sell and I love that they have a great selection to choose from!

Very hit or miss with this dispensary. Sometimes they are very off putting, rushing you and copping an attitude but sometimes they are very pleasant and act as if you are a valued customer and they appreciate your business. The last straw came when I was given my order of edible pills and when I got home there were 9 pills instead of the 10 that I was supposed to get. Emailed them and they offered to give me a $40 credit but had to go through a bunch of steps for them to honor it. Won't be going back. If this was a real drug transaction, there would be no way that guys would short you. Also, they don't have hardly any Sativa edibles. Better places to take your business

Their new register the night before and come anytime between 2-9 system kind of blows. Standing outside in 20 degree weather freezing because of it. The two hour blocks worked much better. Other than that, when you get inside everything is pretty smooth sailing and the selection is great.I suggest you get to know the security guard because then you get in regardless of registration. I did not, but that's what I witnessed.

The #1 thing I want to say is that the staff there are so nice and helpful. I was new to using cannabis products since they've been legalized, and I was a little intimidated by the prospect of going to a dispensary. The people at 33 were very understanding and nice about it. A couple things to know- it is cash only, but they do have ATMs there that are very easy to use, and the withdrawal fee is only 50 cents, (as opposed to most ATMs where it's like $3.75). Also, they do have a very efficient system in place, which I really like, but it's probably easier if you do a pre-order online before you go. It's not really the type of thing where you go in there to browse- I hope they are able to have that some day, but I'm assuming mostly because of covid, it's not that way right now. Also though, don't be discouraged if you see a long line outside- they are so efficient. The line will go faster than you think. I'll be standing outside behind 10 people, and still, the whole process ends up taking like 15 minutes max. Great place!

The selection is terrible. The staff is either too busy socializing with each other or just plain rude. They do not prioritize medical patients at all. Prices are way too high. They also do things that are illegal. I bought a defective product and sent an email with an explanation and pictures. They told me they would remedy the situation but I had to bring the cartridge in. That is ILLEGAL. Then they did nothing to fix the issue. I would rather travel slightly further to have more options at a lower price. I recommend Sunnyside. Especially if you're a medical patient.

Love this place - much better than Sunnyside. My only qualm is that they're out of pre-rolleds a lot of times, but that seems to be common for recreational at all the local dispensaries. They sell good strands, and the visit is always quick and easy. They have a great system for entering, only allow a certain amount of people in at one time, enforce social distancing, and require masks. Highly recommend, will be back.

I have to say I'm shocked seeing the 1 star reviews. But the one star reviews have a common thread: entitled expectations. One of the things that is extraordinary about Dispensary 33 is the ( almost over the top) customer service. Not only is the staff and the process scientifically efficient, the staff is extremely welcoming and helpful. The stock is diverse and powerful. Love this place!

First the good thing- solid selection of all different items. As a medical user I've become accustomed to dispensaries prioritizing medical customers over recreational. This place doesn't do that & that's a huge turnoff. The whole pickup situation feels chaotic. It's loud and hard to hear any of the employees. You pay then wait for someone to shout your number like you're at a deli instead of your goods being shown to you before having to hand over cash. The whole process left me leaving more anxious than when I walked in - which isn't what you're looking for when buying anything, let alone weed lol.

Recreational - Use eventbrite (search Dispensary 33) for day of visit (free - only pay for products in store). Check your email. Pre order cannabis on their website. Pick up and pay - generally expensive af. In and out in less than 10 minutes.

Dispensary 33 has the most complicated queue systems I've seen out of any store. If you don't understand it (like most reasonable people), then your time and money will be better spent elsewhere.Ever since recreational marijuana use was legalized in Illinois it makes sense that stores are flooded with demand. At first, I respected D33's digital queuing system. But it has been a few months since the pot rush and D33 still has a mandatory digital queue system. The shop can be completely empty but you will still be turned away if you do not have a ticket.Like many people I've talked to, D33 is one of the closest dispensaries near me. Its location in the Andersonville neighborhood of Chicago makes it ideal for many tourists and residents. Yet, D33 doesn't seem to want people's money as they devised the most complex series of hoops customers have to jump through to buy products.On top of that, you can only buy recreationally from 9:30-11AM. If the time goes past 11AM, you're SOL -- even if you've been waiting in the cold for hours.Some people won't mind jumping through all the hoops. Some people don't mind waking up at 6AM to go out to D33 and buying recreational marijuana products. But I do. I enjoy my sleep and I understand that Chicago is freezing cold most of the year. I understand there may be waits and friction since the law was enacted, but this is ridiculous.Most products seem to be more on edibles, vapes, and the like. Flower seems to be for medical users only at the moment. Understandable.D33 is a cash-only business with an ATM on site. I haven't used the machine but I understand that the machine has super low fees ($0.50 IIRC).Yet, these small pluses do not even come close in redeeming this place.Even though it's the closest dispensary to me, I don't find myself coming here in the future at all. There are faster and easier dispensaries not much further away. 1/5. Unless you like waking up at 6-8AM, signing up for a digital ticket to buy recreational products, and don't mind the risk of being turned away after 11AM, this place may be for you. Otherwise, there's better options out there.

I came in and registered, waiting in line to be let in. My husband and I weren't allowed to stand next to each other, which was fine, good Covid distancing. I had some questions and wanted to be educated on a couple of products as this was my first time at a dispensary. They immediately told me that I needed to leave because I needed to already have my order decided from whatever was online. If that was the case, why have a waiting room, then a dispensary room - why not just have an order pick up station? I was also told that whatever was displayed in the store was not necessarily the product you would receive- Not exactly sure what that means or if that's important. I left, disappointed and without any product. I really wish this had been a better experience, I had high hopes!

So I use to love coming here, friendly staff inside, but the security was an African American man, and he said get in line and I'm a patient, so I assumed and it looked like two lines but the funny part about it was one side all white people, and the other side black people and I asked which line and he even gave me an attitude! I Will never come back if this man is still working there, and I won't find out cause I won't be around to find out. This place made me not want to come back. I've been a medical cannabis patient for a while and every where is medical on one side and recreational on the other side. But I was very pissed off because I had to go on the other side of town because no one had what I wanted just in a couple places.

This dispensary's management needs to have a serious meeting and figure out a better way to sell to non medical customers. So I went in today and was informed that in order to purchase, we have to tweet or instagram follow and get a ticket (like a meat market). Then they tell you when to come in (yeah I'm waiting all day to give you business). Also how about some discretion for the customers??? Social media to request a ticket and everyone knows. I'm sticking with dispensaries with normal customer seller customs or good ol lil Eazy that I been using for 9 years.

Having been a medical patient for 2 months now, I've learned to not get excited before visiting D33's online medical menu. They've usually got a nice selection of flower and edibles, but getting anything exciting such as pre-rolls or special spunky strains is almost non-existent. Who actually wants 15% THC flower strains?? Please 33, change up/expand your menu options!PS the staff is super cool and everyone is helpful and has great energy.

I cannot believe all the 1 Star recent reviews from the new recreational crowd. They all need to realize that the entire state is running low on product and it certainly not the fault of this dispensary or it's wonderful staff. If you go online, you can find out when walk ins are available or you can make an appointment. Such a bunch of bitchers, they all need to smoke a bowl and chill the hell out.

The staff here is rude. Second time I came here I dealt with attitude for no reason. My friend did not have an account set up so they wouldn't let him in... then openly made fun of him in the dispensary while I waited for my order and I just thought that was so unprofessional. When they wouldn't let him in, he said he would go somewhere else. They did not know we were together and were being super loud and bitchy basically saying they don't need anyone's business and this is a multi million dollar business and he should do somewhere else. That really turned me off. I am done with this place. Also the bud is not even that good! I get better shit from other places way cheaper. Bye bye Dsucky3

The convenience is great but the prices are nauseating. The tip box at the cashier is baffling. Why is it even suggested to tip a cahier? The cashier literally sits there while another person brings over the product. Why am I tipping this cashier or any person working here? For their knowledge of the product should I have questions you say? Well, the girl working at Home Depot, the pharmacist at Walgreens, and the guy who works at the liquor store near me also answer questions and make recommendations, and none of them solicit a gratuity for product knowledge. $85 for 3.5 grams and they set up a tip box. Dreamers.

The staff didn't know what they were doing. One person said it was ok to order, another person sends you back out to the lobby just to be verified again and sent back in.. but then the person that rejected you said they can't help you and you need to go to another person. Get it together people. You're not the only dispensary around. Pretty trashy if you ask me!!! If I was the owner, I'd fire the staff and start off new. You're losing money!

Come here for the service, if that's what you need, but definitely don't come here for the prices, because they are frankly outrageous. Today's menu, for example, has as its only offering of pre-rolled joints ones that weigh just 0.75 grams and cost $18. That translates to a whopping $84 per eighth of an ounce, or $672 per ounce. You used to be able to get *1.0* gram joints here for $12. The idea of Dispensary 33 seems to be that you're supposed to feel so good about shopping at a cannabis boutique that you won't notice your pockets are getting shaken out. The staff is friendly and helpful, beyond doubt, but the prices are pretty much high end across the board.

This place is impossible to get into. They don't take walk ins and reservations are difficult to get. Seems like you have to have an "in" with someone to actually be able to shop here otherwise they don't care about you.

I can't complain about the lines, as that is not their fault. The lines will slow down when more shops open and there are more places to go. Once inside, the staff is really nice. Very welcoming and patient with everyone. They made great recommendations, and I am thoroughly enjoying what I purchased. The pricing seems high, but I'm coming from 5 years of Washington state, which had the same issue at first. More competition will drive those prices down in time. I will be back!

DON'T come here. I am a medical patient with a terminal case. I came in, after my dispensary was unfortunately looted, the people who work here were absolutely no help. It was a long, stressful day. They treated me like a criminal, I was aggravated because no one wanted to help me switch over or help because they were more concerned about closing. They wasted my time, which like I mentioned, I'm terminal. Don't have much of that to waste. SO disappointed. I look different, maybe it was something about my appearance? I'd hate to think that but you never know. They also were not following proper COVID procedures.No masks, they were wearing bandanas. Only the security guard was somewhat helpful & wearing a proper mask. Don't waste your time to speak to people who are genuinely rude, only care about going home, & do not treat you with common courtesy like a human being. Mike, the manager, is the worst human I've ever encountered. No one wanted to give me names, go figure. I work as a columnist, someone needs to write a story about this place & how they have no business serving the "community" in that neighborhood. Zero stars.

I can't believe people are leaving negative reviews from the first day weed became legal here. It wasn't like you had to physically wait in line most of the time - they do a texted-based line system whereas you'd have to come back to the dispensary when it was your turn. My husband and I just spent the time hanging out in the restaurants/bars in the area and made a day of it. The Good:- knowledgeable staff- wide variety- ATM only charges $.50- Tax is included- Communication, as far as if they're selling recreational that day, is great! All you need to do is check their instagram storiesThe Bad:- when we got in line, we were told it would only be 2 hours. It turned out to be closer to 6. Again, we didn't stand in a physical line for more than an hour, so it was nice to be able to do things instead of standing in the cold for hours. It would have been nice to get updates via text with the updated time. I'll definitely be back and I'm seriously considering getting a medical card to save on some of these extra taxes.

My experience here was short and sweet. I reserved a pick up time via Eventbrite and immediately received an email with instructions. I placed my pre-order and arrived to the store during my pickup window. Checking in was very quick and easy - the receptionist asked for my name and my ID. Then I was allowed inside and I was taken care of right away. After I paid, they brought out my order in 10 seconds, and then I was on my way! Super quick and painless process, and there were no surprises. I'll definitely come again next time!

Everyone is extremely accomodating, friendly and the overall process, during the pandemic or otherwise, is smooth and simple. D33 is my local dispo and the only one I've been to since it became legal. I plan on staying loyal.

I stopped buying from here. I'm a cancer patient who needs indica RSO, not sativa RSO, not indica dominant--indica RSO, like Rick Simpson himself preaches. They did not seem interested in helping to source it, instead arguing with me on what I needed. "We go by milligrams, not strain." What? Lol. No. The difference in effect between sativa and Indica is like trying to say uppers and downers are interchangeable. That's ridiculous. Listen up. When you are running this much cannabis through your brain, the differences are amplified, and you can tell me what I need and what is going to cause bad symptoms. Because I've already experienced them. When it's your life on the line, you can tell me what is best. But to not stock or consider finding the one strain that is helpful . . . Let's just say I can get it elsewhere, and the difference is HUGE. They are losing a metric shit ton of money from me.

Came for the first day of recreational sales. Stood in the cold for 8 hours being assured we'd be seen and be able to get in. Wasn't called before they closed and wasn't able to buy. I understand it the first day and it is what it is more people showed up than were expected BUT what is nuts to me that reflects poorly on this business is that they did nothing to make up for this. Not even a sorry from them. They do not respect their customers or their time and that's just unacceptable to me.

The atmosphere is hostile at best. I understand that dispensaries are going to take a while to get organized, but that is no excuse for how i was treated. On the website at the time (because the rules are changing every day) i was told walk ins start at 9 am. You go in, give your name and phonenumber and they text you back and you have an hour to get there. I got there at 9 am and i was told they were already booked up with over 100 online reservations. A man walked and asked the security guard if he could explain the eventbrite ticket system because he didn't understand it. The guard says. "I don't have to do shit."The guy at the counter says something along the lines of, hey, I'm sorry but we didn't want to become recreational anyway and prescriptions get priority.I mind if prescriptions get priority. In fact, that's how it should be. Prescriptions should get walk in privilege and priority with reservations. But that is no way to talk to customers. If a customer gets rude or aggressive then sure, but these two just didn't care. I'm not in the industry, but i believe recreational should be walk in only, no online appointments or reservations. Prescription should get priority on reservations and walk ins. To be very clear. I'm not upset at the industry. I. Upset at those two employee's behavior.

I snagged an eventbrite ticket online for 6-7 pm shopping, the other times sold out instantly. I got there around 6:15, got in with my ID and the ticket on my phone email, and was let in and told to browse until my name was called. I had looked up the menu beforehand so I already knew exactly what I was there for (just a couple edibles which is pretty much the only thing any dispensaries consistently have in stock so no problems there). I think I wandered around for maybe 10 min before my name was called, told them what I would like, and another 5 min to wait to checkout (cash only) and get my things. All in all it was pretty speedy, but I also had done my research beforehand. Pretty much no shops have flower, and pretty much all shops are "overpriced" (its the 30% tax!!!!!). I haven't been to any other dispensaries (this was my first) but I thought the entire experience went smoothly. TLDR ; Use common sense, Get a ticket online the exact second they're available, check whats in stock online before you go, bring cash, and you'll get out quick with no problems. I chose this dispensary over others Because Of the online ticket system, no need to stand outside every day hoping to get in.Employees were nice.

I am a regular medical customer and twice they have given me the wrong order. It's not rocket science. You would think that when someone orders five items they would know that if they've only put two items in a bag that's clearly not what the customer ordered. And both times, they resolved the problem. Seems to me like they're looking for suckers who are just too lazy to go back. I wouldn't trust these guys, They were quick to take my money and both times made me wait about 20 minutes to resolve it. What's funny is they're short on two different occasions but they've never been over. Funny how that works isn't it?  Considering you are a dispensary and the word "Dispensary" is literally the first word in your businesses name, it's fair to assume that you would know how to, you know... dispense. Also their social distancing practices are ridiculous. They have these blue squares that you have to stand on, and when you walk into the room they just tell you step on the blue square and you have to guess which one they mean. If you step on the wrong one they will immediately shout at you "not that one the other one." It's like playing a retarded game of chess. I was also quite disappointed at the knowledge that the "bud tenders" have regarding their own product. One time and I was held by a young Asian girl (don't remember her name) and she actually had the nerve to tell me that they don't categorize her strains by Indica/hybrid/sativa. They recommend them based on what kind of mood you want to be in LOL. Maybe spend a little less time on your lame ass Instagram videos in a little more time working on your dispensing process?Update: this week I became a medical customer of Consume Cannabis in Niles Illinois. Much closer to my home, and way better service. They also gave me a 20% discount for being a first time customer, something that dispensary 33 never offered. They also have a way better selection than D33. And their online ordering actually works without crashing every few days.

Put important information on main page of website!Dispensary 33 website does not display the most important information about their shop on the main page of their website Most dispensary website layouts I have seen have put their ordering facts in the main page. Dispensary 33 does not. They just show you their daily rec & medical menu. The recreation menu just says available in store. So I go to the store to get what I see on their recreation menu; only to find out when I arrive that I should have ordered a time slot to even purchase the weed, on Eventbright. I was slightly irritated, but began looking at their website on my phone to search for this information. I sat down on a chair in the lobby to try to look for an Eventbright spot to sign up & was having trouble. I was asked if I needed help, and I was trying to get it myself, and reluctantly replied no. Then was told that I could not wait in the lobby. I had been there for a total of less than 2 minutes & it was raining heavily outside. They had just opened and there was no one in the lobby.   Uncompassionate & unsympathetic staff. I left immediately and will not go back to a staff like that regardless of the weed they are selling. I have been to Washington and would love to see Chicago become like Washington. This dispensary is garbage!

Just came in this morning for some bud since I hadn't been here in over a year. It is far less crowded than it was the first couple months of 2020 and I was in and out in about 15 minutes.  I lucked out and got the last eighth of Motorbreath OG.  This strain sold out the first day the dispensary opened for rec users over a year ago within a couple of hours. I was there on that historic day and I am so glad this strain has been reordered by the dispensary and I was able to get the last of it.  One of their many friendly staff also recommended Kentucky Bluegrass which has rave reviews on leafly.com. Overall I am very pleased with my experience and highly recommend this place.

Bummed. I used to love coming here, and even after Covid regulations were in place, I felt safe with how seriously there were taking everything. I've never written a review before, and I'm a little bit embarrassed to be doing so in the midst of a pandemic-- but I don't think I'm ever going back to this dispensary. Which, as mentioned prior, leaves me feeling bummed. Up until this point this dispensary was the only one I would visit every two weeks. The people that worked there used to be really kind and patient with clients, and made me feel welcomed. If anything, they made the process smooth and inviting. The last three times I've gone to purchase, it seems like all of the coworkers are grouped together, walking around and for the most part ignoring social distancing. However, they are quick to be rude and even raise their voice at anyone who is standing at the door not sure where to go. I've worked in customer service my entire adult life, I don't think I would ever be so apathetic to a customer even on a bad day. I get incredibly anxious going out in public as it is with everything going on, I'm incredibly disappointed in how this company has progressed. Maybe my contribution or purchase doesn't matter, but you certainly don't have to treat me like I don't when I'm present. What a bummer. I don't understand some of the negative reviews I've read on here.  Every time I've gone to Dispensary 33 they've been pleasant, patient, helpful, efficient, and organized.  I have a medical card, and to me their product selection has been amazing.  I will continue to be a customer and all I can say is keep up the good work.

The sales associate was kind and had some helpful tips when I let him know that I hadn't had cannabis in decades, was concerned since it's much stronger now. SCAM!! We went to the building to purchase some recreational edibles, told that they weren't selling with out a reservation. In order to get a reservation you needed a card, which could conviently be purchased as an  up charge from an on-site Dr. STAY CLEAR!!!!! they were also extremely rude. Regular costumer, but not anymore. After a few incidents of aggressive costumer service I'm officially moving my cash elsewhere. I understand that with covid things need to be organized and supervised. Last night I was greeted by a very annoyed staff. I know how it is to have to deal with costunmers that show up a few minutes before closing- but they cancel your orders if you don't pick them up right away. Maybe close earlier so staff can go home?--- The sales rep "helping" me didn't have the pre-order, she ended up giving me items I did not order, meanwhile another VERY RUDE employee yelled "sales submitted after 8:45 are not in the system!!!" I had no idea what she was talking about... MAYBE UPDATE YOUR WEBSITE? she proceeded to yell at her co-worker "I want my discount!!!!" Then the "security guard" yelled at me to stand at #4 (there was no one in the store. Products are very overpriced and they refuse to tell you which products are which strains.

The staff is great and very chill. There is no rush. I have a medical card and am starting to find this place problematic. I was told that I can order online and a form was going to be emailed to me. No email ever arrived. I trying calling numerous times and no one answers and call goes to voice mail box stating it is full. I sent email with no response to ask about placing my order on line for quick pick up. Once again no response. Customer contact other then being in the store is horrible. I am thinking of changing my dispensary.I am only three starts because I like the staff that helps when I go.

This dispensary is terrible. #1: The person admitting people through the door is arrogant and not helpful: #2: calling their number sends you directly to a full voice mailbox, instead of a message indicating if they are in or out of stock; #3: there are zero instructions how to register. All this lead to wasted travel and frustration. Go to a dispensary that respects individuals. Avoid this one!

Lol ppl mad that dispensaries are out of product and have to wait when they should've know damn well that it would hectic for the get-go;you can't have your cake and eat it too..Last month you were going to a dealer,now you're on your high horse acting like this was going to be a smooth transition..This place orders as much product as they can from cultivators,so if they're out than that's not on them..We live in a big ass city so of course they won't meet everybody's demands in the beginning;they do,however, always have the freshest products  so stop acting like everything went to Hell;and their first priority is to the med patients.I've been here for years and they've gone the extra mile for me time after time..

I'm a medical patient and they wouldn't allow me inside to speak to their "specialists" that are supposedly so highly trained. Their website is full of false claims. Stay away from their overpriced slim inventory. Wayyyy better options out there. Now I know why people tried to dig an underground tunnel from the nail salon next door to steal from them; they won't even sell to patients!! Colombia Care has THE BEST CARE!!!

Everyone over at dispensary 33 have been amazing and I love their pre-order system. They may not have massive inventory like some other dispensaries but the customer service and extra care they give you more than makes up for it, especially for someone like myself that is blind. If you're a medical cannabis card holder you have got to check them out. (another thing I love is they are just down the street from where I live) Hop on the 22 bus pick up my order and head back home)they do have what's called a rotating stock and it may take quite some time for them to get certain strains back in, which can be hard when you live with chronic pain some strains are much more helpful than others but I can always find something that helps. To be honest I do consider switching Dispensaries to a place that's even closer to me A place that has a very large selection only every time I go to dispensary 33 their customer service keeps me going back.

I have only been to one dispensary. I don't want to go to another one. I do believe in quality and this dispensary definitely serves it. They have a very polite, helpful and knowledgable staff. The people that rotate from the front desk including the security guard make me feel good when I walk in. Go in and check it out. The store is very clean and they are making it look even better. SUPER EASY AND PAINLESS ADULT USE PURCHASE. First time ever buying legal recreational product and it was awesome. Just follow their order instructions and you'll be good to go. Signed up for a reservation on Eventbrite, got an email which allowed me to place my preorder, next morning got an email to confirm my purchase was ready during the time slot I reserved. Showed up, sat for like 2 minutes went in and got my goods. I was in there for maybe 4 minutes in total. Awesome awesome awesome experience, definitely going to be a regular customers. Negative reviews seem to be based on people not being prepared.

What a lovely experience. I got there at 9:30 on a Thursday morning and the kind gentleman at the front desk told me they would text me at 10:15 so that I could come back and shop. When I got there the sales person who helped me was so patient and informative. I hope prices go down as time goes on, but for now I am happy to pay for the service that I received! I used the Eventbrite lottery system and it was fantastic. Was able to get a ticket and I was allowed to enter anytime between 11am and 2pm. We had no issues. The service was great. Everyone was extremely friendly and knowledgeable. It was a very positive experience. I'm not sure why other dispensaries are not using this ticket system.

Best dispensary in the city. Staff is knowledgeable and friendly. They are well stocked and everything is on display and clearly labeled with prices that include taxes. The online registration system means no waiting in long lines, so far I haven't had to wait more than 20 minutes between showing up and making my order. Once inside they move through customers quickly with their 3 step process. Walk-ins are limited to the mornings, but I don't understand why anyone would do that when the online registration is so easy and lets you show up at anytime during the slot you pick. I never give Yelp reviews, but these guys earned it.

I had a wonderful & easy experience at Dispensary 33 today! I've been to one other dispensary before so this was my first time here. I gave them my phone # at 8:50 am & they texted me back an hour later to come in. Check in was very easy as well as ordering items. You get a barcode that's scanned to your ID. Once you're inside, there are people helping with iPads and will call out your name once they're free and ready to help. When you're done ordering, you give your barcode to the cashier and they will check you out. I was inside for around 15 minutes. Prices are a little more expensive but it was worth it for how little you wait as well as their customer service. Definitely coming back again in the future!!

Went at 9am on the second day of legal rec, 1/2/20.  Had to wait three hours, but of course that's expected with the crazy demand.  The staff remained super organized and upbeat during what was certainly a crazy, nonstop day for them.  They kept everything as organized and fast as possible with the conditions and I was super happy with the products I bought.  Staff was having fun and encouraged customers to have fun, kept us all laughing once we got inside.  I definitely look forward to coming back here once the supply/demand evens out, their selection was awesome.

I read a lot of reviews before coming here, and so I went in prepared for the worst. But I had such a good experience! I arrived around 10:40 am and was worried I might not make it before they stopped talking walk-ins for rec, but there was no problem. I signed up for the text system, and it only took about 15 minutes for me to get the text to come back. It was probably not a very busy day (rainy Monday) so I'm guessing that helped. The experience of checking in was easy and comfortable and I had a while to browse the wide selection of products once I got inside. Every staff member I interacted with was friendly, helpful, and professional. I liked that they displayed the prices with the recreational tax -- no surprises. And the on-site ATM was a nice bonus. Haven't tested any products yet, but I definitely recommend this place for the shopping experience.

*Sigh* so let me explain the two stars. I followed the instructions that were given to me by the website. It states to get to the location when they open at 9 to check in. I did that. When I got my text to come back within the hour, I did that. Only to be told that I would not get to purchase any flower. What's even more disappointing is that I wasted money on uber there and back and there and back twice. It's not the money it's the principal. There should have been a notification that there was no flower to be sold at check in. It literally went at 9am "hey thanks for checking in see you in about an hour" to "welcome back..sorry you can't purchase any flower but We have other things that you have no interest in purchasing in stock for you" Then on the inside I hear the security guard and this one guy laughing about how if you don't have your medical card you're pretty much s*** out of luck. Very classy guys. I have no qualms with medicinal customers and I am in agreement that they should be first and highest priority, it only makes sense. But hey..don't rub the non medicinal consumer's face in the mud. Especially after time and money was wasted going to this establishment and nothing coming out of it. Again, I just wish they would have posted that on the website or the Facebook page or the guy would have said something in the morning when I checked in. It was misleading and really in poor taste. Thanks for nothing!

I just left and it was the best dispensary experience I've had so far here in Chicago. I would recommend to a friend to come here although I haven't tried the product yet the customer service was super excellent everyone was very friendly very polite and did not mention the service was five minutes long that's it I only waited five minutes long. Must come here if looking for a dispensary in Chicago area!

Very excitedly, I waited ~4.5 hours to get into the dispensary in January 2, 2020 (the day after legalization). However, waiting is not the reason I am upset. I am upset because I told the gentleman helping me that I was specifically looking for a strain that had EQUAL parts THC to CBD because high THC strains often make me anxious. He recommended a strain to me called Harle-Tsu and said it won't make me anxious. I only wanted to buy a single gram, but they were out. Ok fine. I ended up spending $80 for 3.5g only to get home and realize that Harle Tsu has ZERO psychoactive affects and does not make you high at all!?!? Essentially, I spent $80 to smoke a bowl of nothingness. Wish I was informed of this before throwing 4.5 hours and $80 in the trash. Thanks Dispensary 33. Will not be returning

Honestly this place is a joke. The facility is great but that's about it. I put in a reservation and "won." I get there and there is a substantial line... no biggie. Then an employee comes out and says "we will take down your number and text you when it's your turn, that way you don't have to stand in the cold and rain." Perfect right? Not. They were letting dozens of others go in front of us. Never received a text but I ended up getting in line because the security guard let me. Once I am in... it's beautiful.... with nothing on display. Just empty glass cases except for the glass they want you to buy. Again I get it, Chicago has cleaned you out. I tell the bud tender what I want and he briefly shows me my order on a tablet. It was their system and I had no idea what I was looking for. So I say yah ok and go to pay (my fault but I was excited) I get to pay..... holy actual what!!! Y'all they are charging double tax for rec. Ned patients get 65$ wax and rec gets 90$ plus tax. On top of that... I spent 130$ plus tax on a vape pen. THEY STOLE THE CHARGER out of the box. I had to contact the company to get one... otherwise I have to stand in line and do the whole process to get my charger they owe me. It's too bad too cuz the tender I had was best in the city so far.

The good - Clean, safe place, mostly friendly and helpful staff. Good quality product and nice variety. Pricing is a bit high, but what I would expect. The bad - Inconsistent or low inventory, they always seem to be out of something I want. There is a lot of experimenting a person does to find the right product or desired effect and without consistency of availability it makes that difficult. The "More Bad" - The gummies has an issue with mold. The dispensary did credit me for any I had purchased and I do understand that it was a manufacturers issue as they are not manufactured by Dispensary 33, but I was told that something additional was going to be provided for the inconvenience and nothing was ever done. From a business stand point,  I feel that promising something and then to do nothing is not a good business practice.

I thought I missed out when I didn't get the pre sale tix. But I went at about 930 and got lucky.....registered they text you  when to come back about an hour. Turned out to be about an hour 1/2. But the guy at the door was super friendly and kept  us updated. Went inside browsed, a guy came over to help was super knowledgeable and I placed  order. Very seamless operation, product was great. Will return and highly recommend!!

If I could give s zero I would. They could not have handled Jan 1 more poorly. I got in line at 6:30am and waited until 9am. Line barely moved. I was frozen and left to warm up. Fine, that's understandable. I come back at noon and check-in to get a text when it's my turn, which I was told would be in about 3-4 hrs. It is now after 8pm. I went over to inquire and they said the people who checked in at 11am are just getting in now, and they close at 9. So basically there is no chance to get in today. There are plenty of things they could have done to move this along throughout the day, such as limited time in the store, only selling certain products today, pre-made sample kits. Instead they did nothing, I'm down $65 trying to entertain myself around the neighborhood for 7 hrs til I'm called which was just confirmed by dispensary 33 was not going to happen. Idiots. Never will I try this place again.

I freaking love this place , I recent got my medical marijuana card and it's a bit overwhelming. The staff made it super easy and way less overwhelming . The first day taking my medication and I've had the best day ever. The person helping me helped me and explained the exact strands I needed. I've never felt so much relief from pain and insomnia. *CASH ONLY* - ATMs are available in store for only a 0.50$ fee. Alright this is what you need to know.For now, walk-ins at any time of the day for recreational is not available. They have walk-ins from 9:30-11AM daily for recreational and the system automatically shuts down at 11AM. So no matter how long you wait in line, even if you've been waiting since 9AM, once the system shuts down, there is nothing they or you can do. They do have an "Eventbrite" system that allows you to choose a ticket(for free) for a one hour time slot. The time slots range from 2PM to 8PM. They go on sale, on Eventbrite at 8PM daily for the next day. So here's my first suggestion; make sure you are on the page at exactly 8PM because these tickets sell out instantly. I was able to snag a 2PM-3PM ticket for this past Saturday. When you arrive during your allocated time, there is still going to be somewhat of a line. It's not just you, it's group of people who also happen to select the same time slot as you. While you are in line, an employee will scan your ticket to speed things up. When you finally walk in, you are seated on the left side (brown chairs), while the people that were admitted before you will be sitting on the right side (blue chairs). Once you finally make it to the blue chair, they ask all of you to come to the front desk, they scan your ID, give you a number and then you are finally admitted into the actual store. You can request to be either called by your first name or your number for more privacy. Once your name gets called, you are partnered with a sales associate and he/she will help you chose what you want and put in the order for you. After that, you are directed to the register to pay and then once your number gets called again, your items are ready and you can head on out and get high. Think of it this way, the store itself is set up like an Apple store. Items are displayed the same way iPhones/IPads are at the Apple store, however, they are covered in glass for obvious reasons. It was a weird and fun experience to say the least, but I appreciate their organization and if you follow their rules, you should be perfectly fine.I suggest following them on twitter as they always announce certain times for when recreational would be sold or if they even have any left. PS - the only reason I am giving 4 stars is because I agree with the rest of reviews. The sales associates need training on how to interact with customers. They have a horrible attitude and make it seem like you are a horrible person for wanting to buy recreational. No one wants to deal with that and no one wants to be treated this way. ~Till next time.

Professional presentation originally PP (prior pandemic) now degraded presentation...Pharmacy 'like' dispensing area. Petition to enlarge facility presented to 47th Ward Alderman's review committee..Experienced difficulties in confirming prior 'Association' despite several months of purchases..Web Master' not helpful, took my business elsewhere....Just informed by Yelp' that this 'Dispensory'DEMANDED' THE ABOVE Review be REMOVED !This isn't OVER TILL this entity COMPLIED WITH IDPH rules...Deserves and will receive a Complaint !

I strongly strongly do NOT recommend you shop here. I went in asking for references for edibles and the lady could not distinguish if they sold any by strains or if they simply had any edibles that were hybrids. After 5 mins of her mumbling as she was completely stoned out of her mind, I thanked her for her time and turned around and went to a dispensary in Evanston where the edibles are $10+ CHEAPER PER PACK FOR THE SAME EXACT BRAND AND ITEM. The prices here are ridiculous and that's coming from someone that dropped $400. Will never waste my time here again. It's worth noting that the receptionist is on it so there's the 1 star when the experience without her would truly be zero

Pretty much the worst dispensary I've ever been to in my life not only are they not helpful but they gave the wrong advice. The prices are ridiculous and it is not somwhere I would recommend. Literally go anywhere else.

Just bought Lime OG - Hybrid 1.0gPut it all under the hot press and it didn't yield any THC - NOTHING! The bud wasn't dense, it was light and very flaky, orderless, and not sticky on the fingers when squeezed. This is not how marijuana supposed to smell and feel like. Didn't even bother smoking it.Throw it all out in to the garbage bin, because this is where the garbage belongs.I'm amazed how they're getting away with this BS.

The family that drinks together does edibles together. We walked in here ready for fight based on some of the reviews, but was totally surprised about the customer service.  You are required to "purchase" a ticket on Evite to make a reservation for the purchase of recreational products.  There was no wait to get in and everything moved fast and efficiently.  They get you in and out, but it doesn't feel rushed.This was our first time going to a dispensary, so I have to say it was a well organized visit. The staff was very helpful by asking what type of experience we were looking for and made some recommendations.  We settled on the Kushie Caramel.  We were told that it gave lingering high but helped with creativity.  Since The Queen and I had some creative things to work on, we thought we would give it a try.The visit did not take that long and we were on our way home to try our Kushie Caramel. I am not a fan of caramel as a rule, but wanted to see what the effect would be. The edible came in two pieces about the size of a tootsie roll in cellophane wrapper, about 2 inches long.  We ended up cutting about a 2 mm piece for each of us and that was plenty for me.  The edible itself was not only very tasty, but had a nice consistency to it.  It tastes very much like it smells, sugary with a hint of weed. I commented to The Queen I could someone getting carried away with the taste and eating the whole thing.  The buttery toasted flavor of caramel is there, but there is an after note of the THC in there (not overpowering).After about 30 min, that little piece kicked in.  I could feel a tingling sensation in my body and I felt floatly and alert at the same time.  The project I had been writing on kind of crystallized in my mind's eye and I was able to get quite a few ideas down that in the light of the next day were great.I was so happy about the results that I had a some bubbles with my burger from Carol's for dinner.  Big mistake....I thought the effects of the  candy had worn off, but drinking the bubbles kicked it into overdrive and within 10 min of finishing the first flute of bubbles, I had to hit the bed. The point of this story and there is one, is that the staff at Dispensary 33 was very helpful in helping us pick the right edible for the experience we wanted, although they had no idea how the champagne would compound the effect (at least for me).  This is not something I would try all the time, but maybe on those occasions when I just really want to let my mind go off into the land of Oscar Wilde, Willy Wonka or Hunter S. Thompson.  Save the bubbles until it is time to go to bed for a really good night sleep.

***CASH ONLY! There is an ATM inside, just make sure you have your physical atm card because it doesn't except apply pay cards. I didn't have my debit card with me cuz it's on my Iphone so I had to walk over to a bank that accepted them.***Walked by this dispensary & thought why not? Omg everyone was so nice! Super easy to understand and I had a TON of questions about EVERYTHING because I was just so gosh darn excited to be in a dispensary! Try to register on their website (a simple creation of a log in, super easy) but not necessary because they'll sign you up there if needed. You can walk up, you don't need to pre-order. You wait in line outside the building & there is a person that comes to scan your id before you go in. They have a QR code you can scan at the door to look at their menu while you wait. Then you walk in & wait in a chair until they call your name to walk up to a desk to check you in & they will scan your id one more time. This is where having an account with them helps, they'll verify it & you then give you a bar code receipt to use when you enter the weed room. The weed room (aka main area) is full of the good stuff. You will walk up to a register & talk to them what you're looking for. They'll give you plenty of recommendations and describe products for you. Some people I noticed already knew what they wanted & they were in & out. I spent more time talking to the guy because it was such a pleasant experience.I'm so glad I passed by & look forward to going again!

Was quick & easy & great service in the dispensary.  Just wish their website was better organized, it's hard to navigate. It also would be nice if it was easier to search for type (indica/sativa/hybrid) & could search by cbd/etc %.  MOCA & NuEra's sites are great for this.  But I just moved closer to this dispensary, & will go back if convenient.  The staff was wonderful & and I appreciate the good customer service.  I was in & out as a medical patient in less than 10 minutes, and this was on a busy Friday night.  I'd pick this place over the horrible waits at sunnyside any day.  Best dispensary I've found on the northside, just please fix your difficult website!

What awesome customer service and suggestions from Angela B! She was really attentive to everything I was looking for and helped me make great selections. I was a walk-in. The layout of the store and how to place an order seemed like it would be confusing, but everyone was helpful and guides you where you need to go. You can also pre-order online for a really quick pick up, highly recommend

I can say that I am happy there is a dispensary near me! But if I am honest my multiple experiences with this establishment have been just okay. Yes, the staff is friendly and helpful, but I expect that as a customer really anywhere I spend money or make purchases that are high demand and highly taxed. I have never been unhappy with the service or the staff, or their recommdations, but also I have never been wow-ed or really impressed with the dispensary as a whole either. My visits are satisfactory-- meeting basic needs and expectations. I've been consistently happy with my purchases from this dispensary, but I don't believe my experiences have been memorable or important enough to retell. The selection is always changing and there is a good variety, but I don't feel that there is anything unique about my patronage or the D33 brand. Aside from the peak times to purchase-- Friday and Saturday evenings-- the atmosphere is calm and inviting. Give it a shot! There's very little to loose-- or gain. You'll be able to enjoy decent product from nice people.

I always have a good experience here. The staff, to a person, are friendly and helpful. They have created an atmosphere that feels safe during this pandemic, making their process, if possible, more efficient than it already was. They keep their clientele informed about pertinent information. I wish every shopping experience was this enjoyable and easy.

I just need to take a minute to send some love to the staff here. Not only do they keep it moving along on the busiest of days, they do it with a calm, friendly, helpful vibe. If you need a little extra time with questions or recs, they'll definitely take care of you, and somehow manage to do it with efficiency and what feels like patience and genuine goodwill. Can't complain about the product, either!

The Staff is AWESOME always upbeat and happy to help, it’s like the “cheers” of dispensary’s! Needing actual medicinal components of the products the staff has taught me so much!
