Depending on the country that you are in, they can still be prohibited for use, or there are limitations in which you can buy them. Today, many new health benefits are being continuously discovered with the proper use of Cannabis. More people are being drawn and curious about the herb and how it can help them. Most of them are also getting slowly open-minded about it.

Your friends and relatives might be one of those curious people. Luckily, they've got someone like you who is more knowledgeable in the field. It might be the best opportunity to bond through Cannabis consumption between you and your friends. If you or your friends haven't been to a dispensary, check out a nearby dispensary! You want them to experience the unique and fun sensation of Cannabis. The thing is, you don't know where to start. Well, this article will help you remind yourself of the basics of telling your friends and relatives first.

Law Compliance

Again, depending on what country, state, or any place you are in, the consumption of Cannabis might be illegal or legal. Nobody wants to be in trouble with the law, especially if it only involves Cannabis curiosity. Make sure that it is perfectly fine to consume Cannabis in your place. And if it's not, then it is, by all means, not recommended, and you should proceed at your and your friends' and relatives' risk.

On the other hand, there are many countries and states where Cannabis is legal but is regulated by the government. You may also find a legal, physical, or online store where Cannabis products are sold.

The Purpose of Consumption

As you may have already known, Cannabis consumption isn't just for recreational activities. Sometimes, they can use it to treat High blood pressure, anxiety, prevent Seizures, and many more. Ask your friends or relatives what they want or need Cannabis for. This way, it is clear what Cannabis products, brands, and strains you will recommend later on.

CBD and THC

When introducing Cannabis products, people need to know what exactly it is that they are consuming and what's in it. CBD is an abbreviation for Cannabidiol. You can find the compound in both Marijuana and Hemp plants. Still, Marijuana-based CBD is said to be more effective than Hemp based.

CBD has a lot of medicinal value like THC. The difference is that CBD users rarely get 'high' because it is not the compound responsible for it. It is used for treating Post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), Schizophrenia, Anxiety disorders and is even used for Addiction prevention. Some individuals use CBD for treating physical pain related to muscle pain and arthritis.

If your relatives are interested in CBD, you also have to tell them about the methods or ways CBD is consumed. If they want to ingest CBD as quickly as possible, CBD capsules are for them. There are also CBD creams, oils, and lotions for body-related pain. They can also ingest it in sweets like gummy bears and cookies. And finally, they can use vaporizers or vapes. They are one of the most common ways to consume CBD today.

On the other hand, there's the THC that you have to tell them about. THC is short for tetrahydrocannabinol. It is one of the chemicals found in Marijuana responsible for making its users feel 'high.' THC is also used to treat various diseases and muscle pain. They can also reduce nausea, anxiety, and even glaucoma. They can use THC to boost it for someone who has a low appetite.

And lastly, about THC and CBD, you have to tell your relatives or friends about the possible side effects. And also, they shouldn't be worried as long as they are prepared. Also, know that the side effects are not even close to being deadly.

CBD users may experience the following: appetite fluctuation, weight loss either from diarrhea or other means, dizziness, and fatigue.

On the other hand, THC users may experience temporary side effects like redness of eyes, short-term memory loss and anxiety, dryness of mouth, and body coordination concerns.

About Marijuana Strains

It is not a Cannabis introduction without going through topics about strains first. Tell them first that, commonly, Marijuana strains are divided into three categories. They are indica, sativa, and Hybrid. Those three categories have a story or history behind them. If you want to educate them further, you can continue with the next sentences here, and then you may tell it to them as well.

Back in the 60s or 70s, the Indica Kush became well-known among Cannabis users worldwide. The strain is found in the Middle East and nearby countries like India, Afghanistan, Northern Pakistan, etc. It was also discovered first by Jean-Baptiste Lamarck, a French naturalist, back in 1785 and named it 'Cannabis indica.' It is also the second strain of Marijuana discovered. 'Indica' also means 'of India' in classical Greek and Latin. There are specific effects of the Indica strain, including muscle and mind relaxation, sleep-inducing, appetite activating, pain-relieving, and others. For a general explanation, Indica is used mostly for relaxation.

The other Marijuana strain is called 'Sativa.' It is the Marijuana strain that makes people feel energized and reduces anxiety for some. Some artists also use them to feel creative and productive when working. The origin of the Sativa strain is in Eastern Asia. It is possibly the first strain of Marijuana that humans have used in ancient times. Also, the famous Botanist Carl Linnaeus identified it as Cannabis sativa in the 18th century. He is the first one to identify the said Marijuana strain. Sativa is also a Latin adjective, which means 'cultivated.'

Lastly, there's the Hybrid strain. It is called Hybrid because they contain genetic traces of both Sativa and Indica strains. The strain may also include the properties of the previously mentioned strains because it is a mix of two. You can tell them that it depends on what they want to experience in choosing strains.

To Conclude Things

Cannabis products are often misunderstood, and if someone you know is confused about them, you can tell them how it can benefit a person's well-being. As long as it is used properly, no harm can come in its user's way. Every Cannabis user can enjoy the benefits it can provide without any worries.
